Serious: The Blizzard Pirates Chapter 2: Treasure Hunting in Magmaztec Island. (CLOSED)

Having stayed silent for the exchange, simply following the crew and listening, Kib was still too slow when the tiger appeared. Leif had already clashed with the creature when Kib had managed to turn and manifest his customary rows of teeth on his palms. He watched as the jellyfish and Leif handled the tiger, not making the teeth disappear until the creature had been truly subdued.

Kib sighed. It wasn't unusual of Zastur to act... well.. entitled. Most of them were used to it, but the jelly-person probably found it infuriating. At least the animals seemed not to object.

Cameron sighed, he was extremely bored, especially since the one chance he might have had to manifest his devils fruit powers, the tiger, was taken care of. Everyone seemed to be fine by their own, so Cameron didn't really see why he needed to be their, I mean, its not like they wanted his company. Cameron got up and talked to no one in particular.

"I'm going back to the ship to make dinner" he said in a bored tone "Give me a time when I need to be back and I'll come" the last thing being directed at Roko

Cameron, then began walking out of the bar, hoping to get an awnser before the door shut

Roko looked at what happened in front of him, of course the tiger could have attacked his friends... but it was a living thing too. He deserved to live.

"I guess we should leave the animal live his life."-Roko concluded.-"He should be able to return to the forest or something like that."

Roko then looked at Cameron.

"No, Cmaeron. Dont leave for the ship, we're about to start the treasure hunting."-Roko told Cameron, also telling his crew.

Watashi who hade been following Roko had by mistake taken a wrong turn. He was a bit lost in the city but that wasn't much of a problem for him. He saw a pretty lady sitting by alone. He decided to go towards her and play some music. The msuic attracted some people and he smiled when he noticed.

After playing some tunes he felt really dry in his throat.

Do any of you people know if there is bar here? he asked the crowd around him.

They showed him the way and when they got there he thanked them and said goodbye. When he got in the bar he noticed that the rest of the crew was there. After ordering some saké he wn't to them.

Cameron looked back and sighed, he had been hoping to get some time alone, but oh well, he could find out what his devils fruit did while tresure hunting.

"Yeah, ok boss" said Cameron, turning around and sitting back down next to Alice

Roko looked around at his crewmates, although he saw Cameron come back, Roko thought that maybe he wanted some time alone... but well, they needed to start the treasure hunt, so Roko began giving ideas nkw that ge saw Watashi joining the group.

"Oh cool, Watashi is here now. Well, now we can start our treasure hunt."-Roko said with a smile.- "The basic rules of treasure hunting are simple: The treasure is always hidden in a place where it would be difficult to get to, the treasure will be guarded by some kind of obstacle and if we take the treasure, we could always have trouble transporing it."

Roko thought a little bit before continuing.

"Ok, so the first place we must aim to is... Some place where it would be difficult to get to... like a canyon... Or maybe the volcanoe!"-Roko's eyes widened with excitement.- "What we must do is to get to the volcano, and I guess the best way will be to follow this cannals of lava."

Roko walked out of the bar and followed upstream the cannal of lava that flowed near to them, hoping his crewmates would follow him.

Jelly admired his new captain's confidence and followed him as this would be his task as always. "Captain sometimes the treasure may not be where you expect it to be, sometimes a clue will be found in a difficult to get to place then the clue will lead you somewhere else hard to get to. Sometimes these treasure hunts can drag us all over the world in search of treasure, not that I've ever encountered one of those kind of treasure hunts but I've heard about it." Jelly felt relaxed despite his aching thighs and shoulders, but otherwise he could feel the beer travelling through his system and liked it.

"Oh, so that's how treasure hunts work, is it?" Leif muttered under his breath.

The young man sighed. He had no idea why the captain thought they would find treasure on this island. It sounded like the captain had just fancied a treasure hunt and so they were going on one.

"Why did I ever think it would be a good idea to hang out with pirates?" Leif thought to himself.

Despite his lack of interest, he wandered after the captain at a steady trot. Maybe the captain really did know that there was treasure on the island and he just hadn't told them. Or maybe this was some kind of test. It hardly mattered. Being the captain, Roko could pretty much order them to do something and they didn't have much a choice as to whether or not they would do it.

"Fine, captain." Kib said, his voice not betraying any particular emotion. Mostly, he was just waiting. He knew not what awaited them in this particular hunt, so he would not lat any expectations. He would handle any surprises when they came. For now, he would just follow.

Alice had been too busy thinking about stuff so she didn't notice what the hell had happened to the tiger and everything. She was trying to understand why she felt comfortable around Cameron more than others, she was trying to understand what the hell she was feeling.

She was so inmersed in her thoughts that the didn't notice anything until Cameron sat besides her, he seemed in a bad mood, she was wondering what had happened but didn't want to annoy Cameron or something, besides it would be no good idea.

She just stared at him, then stared at the captain, then shrugged the thouhgts off her mind and poked Cameron's cheek. She smiled and said "is everything alright?" in a polite and nice tone.

Cameron looked down at Alice and smiled, as he usually did when he was with her.

"I'm fine, thanks for asking" he said

Soon after he heard Roko start talking about treasure hunting, and the way he talked he was it making it sound EASY. Before long he got up and walked towards the door. Cameron tried to shout to him that he was a decent tactician and could help make a map plan of where treasure would be, but by that time he was gone. He facepalmed and turned to Alice, then got up from his chair and headed towards the door.

"C'mon, lets make sure he doesn't do anything stupid" he called back to her

Alice nodded and followed Cameron, she was glad that the blond guy was fine, she hadn't expected him to be annoyed or something, or more like didn't want him to be, and indeed, Roko Cloud did make things sound easy, when they usually weren't, or at least from what they knew.

Also, Alice didn't really mind the hunting for treasure part, because she had always found it pretty much interesting, she just hoped nothing bad would come out of it, even if it ended up hard, it didn't matter as long as she was fine and as long as everyone else were fine.

"I hope everything turns out fine" she said to herself in a low voice, she hoped Cameron hadn't heard her.

As King Darral Zastur watched the rest of the Blizzard pirates chase after their captain, from the comfy seat of the terrified tiger, Hecran, till eventually Ted turned round to his master and asked; Aren't we following them boss?, to which he replied; "No! I have a better idea of where the treasure shall be!", the arrogant king said proudly. May I ask what that plan is sire?, Peck asked with suprise, to which their king announced full of pride; "I plan to search any ancient ruins in the area, as most old civilisations have valuble treasure!" The three animals just stared at their king in silence for a few moments, all of them secretly thinking he was also going for the obvious. "Speechless at my genius I see! We shall go forth and take the treasure before they even figure out where it is! Go forth Hecran!" Zastur bellowed out as the tiger began bounding in the direction the king was pointing, his royal subjects not too far behind.

Seeing that most of his crewmates were following him and that Jelly talked to him, Roko talked to him.

"Yes, you can be right... but the volcano is a dangrous place, and it can actually have many cavs and monsters inside. It could also have som guards or stuff..."-Roko said, then turned looking uptream of the lava cannal.

The lava cannal seemed to come directly from the volcanoe, although it didnt come form the top, but from some holes in the sides. Roko could see this in the distance he was away from the volcanoe. He turned his face and saw that there was a temple made of rocks at the left, but he followed the trail of lava and got to the mountain, there he stopped, waiting for his crewmembes, his family.

"Hey guys! Now we must look for a way to go inside!"

As Watashi followed the captain he took out his ocarina.

Alice walked following Roko, since Cameron was going as well but she didn't know what he was doing anymore, since he hadn't say something about anything, so she went behind Roko and saw the volcano, she didn't really want to enter there because she would get burned... the irony of the mera mera no mi users... they can get burned by magma.

She wondered what kind of devil fruit power had Cameron, and if he would be able to use it or even be able to know how to, because something like that is really difficult, specially for her at least, because Alice didn't want Cameron to pass through what she passed, she wanted to help him, but that would be only possible if he first discovered his powers, which apparently will take a while to appear.

Alice realized that she thought about Cameron a lot, he was in almost all her thoughts and that wasn't normal, Alice didn't care about people, usually, at least not as much as she did for Cameron, but that was really weird, and she didn't know why this was, she wasn't even sure what she felt for Cameron, she knew it was some kind of like, but she still didn't know if it was the romantic like or the friendly like, and she didn't want to risk her only friendship because of a romantic feeling, because if things didn't work out, she would be too sad, and worse, alone, and would still need to share room with him, probably.

She stared at Roko and shook her head "tell me when they find a way to go inside, I'll be here" she simply said and sat on the ground, since she didn't really feel like going around a volcano, risk being burned by magma, and also she didn't feel like doing that because she had been thinking about if she actually had something with Cameron, it would end wrong, and that made her have a worse mood, and a lazy mood, even worse than usual.

"Huh, what a place," Leif commented as he stepped up to stand next to where Alice was sitting.

The young cyborg didn't stick around for long, but took off a moment later, searching for a way into the volcano. He still wasn't sure why a volcano needed to have treasure in it, not to mention monsters and multiple caves, but he was actually finding himself starting to get interested in the treasure hunt. Not to mention, he didn't want to ruin it for the captain. Even if the idea seemed a little crazy to him.

Leif spotted an opening in the volcano and approached it, but a moment later he turned back. There was lava pouring from the opening and he doubted that they would want to take the time to move reroute it.

Jelly looked at Watashi thinking to himself this must be another member of the crew and said "I know the lyrics to that song I've heard it enough times and I always kind of liked it. I take it your going to play it now?"

Cameron sighed, walking about aimlessly, but following the direction of the crew in general. Every few yards he shot his hand out as fast as he could, hoping a power of some sort from his devils fruit would reveal itself. After awhile he gave up. Its hopeless he thought. I can't wait so long for my devils fruit to reveal itself, or else I just gave up swimming for nothing! Cameron then tried it one more time. He stopped where he stood, pulled his hand back and threw it forward aaaaaand...nothing happened.

"Gah! Fuck this" he said loudly and impatiently.

He then walked faster to catch up with the rest of the crew. He then stopped walking fast when he was in the crew 'line' of sorts and began walking normally. He then saw Alice sitting on the ground and walked over to her, wondering what the hell she would need to sit on the ground for.

"What are you doing?" he asked, sounding fairly amused.

Yes, i certainly will he aid. He started to play the first tunes on his ocarina while continuing to walk behind the group.

Jelly found himself enjoying the tune and gently swaying from side to side then quietly found himself muttering the words. he wanted to sing out aloud but felt embarrassed to do so.

Alice looked at Cameron, just the guy she had been thinking about, but then again she thought about Cameron all the time apparently, and it wasn't that bad, or at least Alice didn't think it was that bad, but then again not everything that Alice finds fine actually is fine, so not everything that Alice doesn't find that bad is actually not that bad, so you understand my point, don't you?

Alice nodded, although it wasn't a yes or no question, she just felt the necessity of nodding, for a strange reason, also for a strange reason Alice wasn't as lazy as to nod, which is really weird, isn't it? Because Alice usually is really lazy, something she should change soon because she needs to show her real power, she's pretty sure everyone in the crew thinks she's a weakling or something, but she's actually strong, and she needs to demostrate it, soon.

Alice smiled at Cameron. "Well, basically, Captain told us to find a way to get inside the volcano, but I do not wish to get burned or work in that way, so I'm waiting here to see when someone else finds the way to the inside of the volcano" she said honestly, she didn't really care that Cameron thought she was a lazy bum, because that was her, and she was going to be herself, no matter what.

She indeed wanted to find treasures, since it sounded like fun, but she didn't want to get to the inside of a volcano, I mean, what sounds intelligent about getting to the inside of a freaking volcano, it's fricking hot, obviously, but she wouldn't say something like that. Besides, the volcanos have magma.. and she would get burned, and Alice didn't like to get burned, it wasn't nice, but then again who liked to get burn.. well, masochists do, but that's another thing, Alice was no masochist, so she didn't want to get burned, besides she was fire, and it was kind of stupid that she got burned with magma, besides she would DIE if she touched magma, and she was pretty sure that she didn't want to die, but she should stop worrying about this, I mean, Roko Cloud was her captain, and she will trust him till the death, then if she sees it as a life or death threat, she'll leave or stay back.

Cameron looked at Alice strangley when she nodded at him. It wasn't a yes or no...nevermind he thought to himself. He then laughed a bit when Alice told him her reason. It was honestly a good idea, though, so until someone told him to work, he would just sty there with Alice. Cameron sighed, and sat with his back to a tree near Alice. He sighed, and stretched his arms and yawning. He looked at Alice and smiled. They were friends, which was nice, since he hadn't had a real friend before. He thought about something he could say, as he was honestly bored and wanted something to do. He then decided to ask what was usually a good conversation starter.

"Soooo" he said "How are you?" he then asked, sounding sincere for once

Alice looked at him, she indeed liked being around Cameron, she smiled and also sat with her back against the tree, when he asked her how she was she simply didn't know how to answer, she had too many mixed emotions, besides being happy because of being in a crew and having him, she was also anxious of the feelings she was discovering for him, and she also felt kind of sad because of what she had thought about earlier, which really changed her mood, since it was really sad.

"Well... complicated, mixed emotions, but I guess overall fine, you" she asked nicely, she was actually honest about her feelings, it's just that she didn't go into detail with telling them, which was really good for her, also one of the things of how she was going is that she was feeling really lazy, for a weird reason, I mean Alice was lazy usually, but NOT THAT lazy, and she was wondering why was that.

Cameron looked at her strangley, for once he wanted to know why someone felt the way they did, which was weid. Usually his additude was 'Kay, cool' and a tip of the hat, but now he didn't feel that way, he wanted to know why she wasn't alright. He looked at her and smiled a little.

"Oh, I'm fine, except my devils fruit won't show itself, but why do you feel that way?" Cameron asked

He then scooted closer to her until he was sitting right next to her and looked at her with a curious expression.
