Serious: The Blizzard Pirates Chapter 1: First Adventure in York Island. Assembling the crew. (CLOSED)

Cameron turned around as he hear Kana talking to Zastur and sighed. She thought he was the captain, easily fixable.
Walking past her on the way to the ship, he said "Ships this way" he said, walking and then whispered as he went past her "Hes not the captain, you know that right?" and continued walking

Kana looked at Cameron shocked.
"He isn't?" she whispered back at him.
She never really saw their captain before. When Cameron pointed him out, he was surrounded by a large crowd, so it was hard to see him. Zastur was walking around in the streets asking for people who wanted to join the crew, and after noticing his height, she had assumed he was hidden within the large crowd of people.

"Nope" he whispered back "I'm more close to being the captain then him, he just has a....special personality" this was true, as he was the first mate and the head chef of the crew he outranked Zatsur "So anyway, follow me if you want to ask the legit captain" he said, walking away without looking back.

(OOC: lol Thor, you are not the first mate still XD)

(eh? the crew page says I was and no one informed me otherwise...)

(yeah, but I have not named you first mate in the thread yet, right?)

Kana looked back at Zastur. It was true and undeniable, the short man was indeed special. She nodded.
"Ah okay." she replied following Cameron.
She glanced over her shoulder towards Zastur. He was the one who brought her here, so she felt bad about just leaving him there. Thinking about it for a second, Kana concluded that he'll be fine. He had all of those animals to protect him.

(ohhh, right *facepalm*)
Cameron walked to the boat, not really looking back to check on Kana or Alice until he reached the boat, then turned around to talk to them, hopinh they would be there "Here we are" he said

Kana's eyes widened as soon as they reached the ship
"Woah." she said with awe. "This is so cool."
Of course she thought so. It was the first pirate ship she had ever been on.
"Say, where's captain?"
For anyone else, it would have been odd calling the captain by his title already without meeting him, but Kana had already been welcomed by a couple of his crew members. It was as if she was already a part of the crew.

Dick got the feeling he was being watched again. He thought it was completely creepy. She shook the feeling off.
The sounds of battle had ceased so he really had nothing better to do. So he went to the docks, to see if he could find that dude that helped him clean up. He looked like a nice guy so I guess we could hang out a bit. Since there's really nothing better to do.
He looked around until he finally found a ship with a pirate flag, but also saw Roko and his crew on board. He approched the ship at regular speed.

As King Zastur wondered around somemore, he wondered why his new subordinate was being so quiet all of a sudden, to which he asked; "Whats wrong new knave? King got your tounge? Why the sudden silence?! I demand you to speak!" Ted turned embaressed to his master and told him gently; Uhhh, boss, she's gone now, I saw here walk off with one of our other pirates, well fellow crew mates anyway. The king suddenly turned round to confirm this and then raged at Ted. "You imbosile! Why didn't you tell me earlier, or at least tell me where there heading! And where the hell is Peck? Damn it why can't I find the harbour!", the king snarled, before Peck landed on his shoulder and annouced himself with; Here sire. The southbird then quickly told him that on of his subordinates and a stranger had arrived at their ship, and the harbour was in the opposite direction. "Good work Peck! To the harbour and be quick about it!", King Zastur ordered to which Peck flew speedly in front to lead the way, with Ted carrying the king , rushing desperately after Peck.

Spur kept following, marking Dick's next movements, and determining where he'd go next. The ship. Of course. Fascinating. Spur dropped off the building, sneaking behind bushes, barrels, boxes, and basically everything else that could break Dick's line of sight. When he was close enough, he slipped into the water, swimming up to the side of the boat. He grasped the spaces between the boards and began hauling himself up the side of the ship. He was on the opposite side, carefully watching what was going on atop the deck.

Roko had been walking silently towards the ship with all the crew following him, he guessed. The people looked at them while they walked around. How can they be showing around them being pirates?-said a woman and another one told her.-But they saved that people back there... the girl and the mother... Roko listened to the conversations but thought: I really dont care what people think about me, I fight for my friends and my beliefs. When they got to the port he pointed at the Windwalker, then he climbed inside and said.

"This is it! The Windwalker"

He looked around at the big ship made by his father, it was very clean. He cleaned it himself or paid someone to do a deep clean sometimes. The pirate flag was down to "disguise" the ship.

Leif and Alan finally returned, but the pirates had left. For a minute they just stood there, silently. Then…

“So where is their ship?” Alan asked Leif.

“I…uh, I dunno,” Leif replied slowly. “I never actually asked that…”

Alan sighed. “Figures. But you’re new to this game so we’ll let it slide. Anyway, let’s just head on down to the docks and take a look around. We should run into them sooner or later. Unless they leave first, of course.”

Alan then turned and walked away without saying another word. Leif trailed after him, feeling incredibly stupid.

Alice nodded and followed Cameron, she then noticed when Cameron went to inform Kana that Zastur wasn't the captain, even if she knew the reason, she couldn't help but feel pain on her chest.

W-what the hell is this feeling on my chest? why am I so...sad?... nothing's happening, Alice, you shouldn't be sad, Alice thought while she waited for Cameron to come back.

Then he came back... with Kana, Alice looked away for a second and then followed from far behind, but not that far since she could still see Cameron walking ahead of them, not even glancing back once.

I wonder why I feel like this, It's not like I don't like Kana, I mean I don't even know her but then again, I don't know lots of people, I.. don't like socializing, and now that I think about it, the crew is getting bigger and I'll have to be friends or at least get along with everyone... ugh, Alice thought.

While walking, Alice kept staring at the ground, not wanting to watch Cameron's back while he walked, her eyes narrowed when the socializing part came she really really didn't like socializing; more like hated it, but she didn't know the exact reason either, she just hated it.

Alice nodded when she saw the ship, yep, she's seen it two times already so it wasn't that surprising, Roko was there and was talking to the rest, telling them the name of the ship: "The Windwalker"

She noticed for the first time that the pirate flag was down, must be so the marines don't know that this is a pirate ship, it may get destroyed by them... marines...heh Alice thought, her expression hardened as she thought of them the damned marines, of course, she knew not every marine was bad but still, she didn't like them that much, and even less those who abused their power.

"I...I'll be looking around the ship" she told Cameron in a low voice, she didn't like to talk loud, not at all. She then looked away and started to walk around the ship, looking into the ocean and how beautiful it was right now beautiful, she eyes got sad I'm never going to swim again, what a pity, she thought as she closed her eyes and enjoyed the breeze.

Cameron sighed, looking at the ship and his captain talking. This was a fun crew, what luck. He was also lucky to have made friends with Alice. Then Alice came up to him and told him she was going to look around. Cameron looked at her walk away and began walking with her "I'll come with ya" he said, smiling at his only friend with his hands in his pocket. He was happy to be with Alice and the weather was nice "Breeze is great, right?"

Alice noticed that Cameron was with her for the first time, her eyes shot open and she looked at him, then relaxing, she nodded "Yeah, indeed" she said with a sigh.

"Now the crew is going to become even bigger...I'll need to socialize" she said in a sad tone to Cameron, since he knew her hatred towards socializing with people.

Alice continued staring at the ocean. "The ocean is such a beautiful place, us, the pirates, are so lucky to be traveling on the sea, one thing that I hate about myself is that I can't swim because of the devil fruit" she said in a low tone her eyes softened as she spoke.

Cameron looked at Alice, who seemed to be sad about a number of things, he felt like he needed to make her feel better. But how? Cameron had never even noticed that anyone was sad, much less comforted them. He looked at her and put his arm around her shoulder and looked at her "Hey, cheer up, the water isn't so great anyway, I'd trade swimming in for kicking ass any day, and as for socializing, you can always camp out in your room, I'll even hang out with ya so you look like your busy" He laughed

Alice blushed slightly as Cameron put his arm around her, her heart race fastened and there was like something moving on her stomach, like...butterflies.

W-What is this?... I feel so weird, just a second ago I was sad about not being able to swim and now all I can think is about Cameron putting his arm around my shoulder, Alice thought as her blush deepened.

"Y-yeah you're right, and thank you, for all the help you've given to me from the start till now" she said as she stared into Cameron's deep blue eyes. "really, thanks" she said, she was glad that she only stuttered on the beginning.

W-Wait. Why did I even stutter? Am I...sick?...what is wrong with me.., Alice thought as she tried to discover what was 'wrong' with her. Not realizing that every time she thought about it, her blush deepened.

Cameron smiled at Alice, happy to be with her, so much it was strange, actually. She began stuttering and blushing as well, which was weird also. "Are you okay?" he asked, arm still around Alice and looking at her in his own, personal worried look, which was basically a confused face mixed with weirded out. "Are you sick?" he asked her.

Kana looked at the ship around her with awe. The Windwalker huh? It was amazing. Then, she noticed that Cameron and Alice were walking away. She looked after them and then shrugged.
Looking up at the mast, she realized that the flag was not up. She smiled. It was probably to hide the ship's true identity from the Marines. She was following a smart captain. So she wasn't going to die.
Her eyes widened.
"Captain!" she shouted as she ran toward the man who introduced the ship. "Captain!"
Deapite being welcomed by Zastur and Cameron, she still had not talked to the real captain.

Watashi looked at the windwalker. I´So this is the ship i will travel on into the new world, he thought to himself

This is a really nice ship you got

he jumped up to the deck of the ship and started to look around. he looked around on the deck and leaned over the side of the ship and looked down towards the rest of the crew.

So, captain. Whe What was that fight about earlier, cause before i wen't to you guys, it sounded like there was some ruckus, and the crowd looked a bit worried aswell.

he leaned on his forearms and stretched his neck a little

Alan and Leif had reached the docks in very little time and were now walking along it, searching for the crew. Or at least, Leif was searching. Alan was lost in his memories. He had become a revolutionary when he was very young. His parents had always taught him that the World Government was wrong, that they should not control everyone and everything. They had said that the World Government would fall one day because it would become more and more corrupt and people would just naturally rise up against it. Likewise, Marines would see the truth and more and more of them would switch sides. It was the inevitable conclusion, his parents had said. And until that day came, they would continue fighting so that when that day came, people would have somewhere to turn for help. That is what Alan believed. It is what he still believes, but now his loyalties are divided.

It was Leif that was causing him so much trouble. A young boy who he had dragged into his war with the World Government. The problem was that he had originally given Leif his cyborg parts so that he could help them fight. Admittedly, it had also been so that they could replicate the process, but Alan had been sure he could turn Leif to his cause. He wasn’t quite as sure now, but he was still thought he could do it, given time. But now he didn’t know if he wanted too anymore. Leif was just so young, so trusting. Sure, he acted like he didn’t trust Alan, but really who else would he turn too? A part of Alan still wanted to make Leif see the light, but another part of him was saying that he should help Leif get back home. It was his fault that the boy was stuck the way he was.

“Hey…I think that’s them,” Leif said, popping up at Alan’s shoulder.

Alan jumped in shock and then glared at Leif and snapped, “Don’t sneak up on me like that!”

Leif gave him a strange look. “I’m not sneaking,” he said.

“Whatever,” Alan grumbled. “Let’s just get to it.” He stomped off without another word.

Roko was daydreaming about the adventures that he would have with his crew in the Windwalker... They were navigating in the grandline, having a party with marimbo music and laughing and singing... then they were fighting a giant... he was brought back to reality by a voice that called: Captain! Captain! That must be me-he thought.

"Yes?"- Roko turned around to see a short girl calling him. Then he asked: "Who must you be?"

Then heard that Watashi was talking to him and asking about the fight. I really dont know what was going on there because I got there when the fight was already ending, there was this man in a black cape which I didnt know who was but he almost killed a little girl and a woman."

When Kana stood in front of the captain, she realized that he was much taller than she was.
"Uh, I'm Kana Okamoto." she told him. "And I want to join your crew."
She turned and smiled to the other man who came up to talk to him.
"Hi." she greeted.
