"Oh I see." Kana muttered also watching the fight.
People were so violent and sensitive it was scary. She turned to face the speaker, Cameron, who had just introduced himself in a monotone voice which the female had failed to notice. She reached her hand out to meet his.
"Kana." she told him.
She did not meet his unethusiastic voice, but her's was not cheerful. If it had a classification, it would be considered neutral.

Cameron smiled weakly and shook her hand "Nice to meet you" he said in the same tone as before, then turning back to Alice and sighing "When is captain Roko gonna stop taking members and let us leave?" he sighed, tapping his foot impatiently against the ground. He hated sitting here, watching random people he didn't even know join the crew, he would much rather be sleeping.

Kana looked at Cameron curiously. What he had just said to the other girl next to him got her attention.
"Captain?" she asked. "Are you a pirate crew?"
It would make sense since most of the people there were dangerous looking and had weapons. Also, the big pirate ship at the docks gave it away.
She studied Cameron and the girl, he had called Alice, they were holding weapons, but those two looked about her age and a lot different than the pirates she remembered from her childhood. Were these people the crew she had been looking for these past few months?

Cameron looked back at Kana and sighed "Yeah, and if you wanna join, this is the best chance you're gonna have" he said, pointing to the crowd surrounding his captain "You should get in line" he said jokingly.

Watashi continued to play songs on his xylophone

So... where is our ship, captain?

Oh, and what does our flag look like?

Leif could only watch in horrified fascination as that other new guy started pulling out his own bones and even started using one as an instrument. Devil fruits were so weird. Leif hadn’t seen one in use before either so that made this even more amazing too him.

It was strange, even as Leif stood there, watching this bizarre sight, he felt like he was forgetting something very important. So he recapped the day’s events. He had fought a crazy swordsman and joined a pirate crew. And that morning he had…

“ALAN!” Leif shouted, sounding panicky. He had completely forgotten about the revolutionary waiting for him back at the hotel!

The young cyborg turned and ran back the way he had come moving at his top speed again. The wind off of his running form blew a stack of papers out of one man’s hands and caused a small child to close her eyes and misstep and almost spill her ice cream. Leif doubled back just in time to use the child’s ice cream cone to catch the frozen treat before handing it back to her, but he didn’t go back to help the man collect his papers. That wasn’t as immediate a concern to him. Moments later, he was off again, this time moving a little more slowly so as not to cause any more chaos.

Alice had seen when the man took the girl and the mother and threw them to different directions, her eyes narrowed and she was going to run to save the one who wasn't save but 'King' got there first. At least they're safe, Alice thought.
She saw how everyone suddenly surrounded the captain and started joining the crew, yes Alice wasn't social, so she stayed by the side with Cameron, when Watashi kissed her hand she tensed and gulped, then nodded. "Alice Heart" she mumbled.
Then the guy said something and left so again Alice and Cameron stayed by the side, not joining the crowd that surrounded Roko. But then a girl that seemed to have their age joined and asked Cameron some questions, Alice was surprised to find someone like them wanting to join the crew, she looked at the girl and decided to say her name. "I'm Alice Heart" she said and then continued looking at the crowd with uninterested eyes.
"You know, I'm also a devil fruit user" she said in a low voice to Cameron, hoping Kana wasn't hearing this as well, she didn't know why.

"Really?" Cameron asked his friend, she didn't seem like she had used her powers yet, maybe if he knew them, he could figure out if she had "What does the devils fruit do?" he asked, almost completely forgetting about Kana due to his immature, careless attitude.

Alice looked at Cameron "The devil fruit gives the user nonhuman abilities, my devil fruit is the mera mera no mi, which allows me to control and create fire, like this" she said extending her hand and creating a small fire in her palm, she then made it disappear and continued her explanation.
"There are different devil fruits and types of devil fruits, mine is from the logia group, there are also the paramecia fruits and the zoan fruits" she said and then looked at the crowd again. "I just don't use my power that much unless it's for fighting" she said, her eyes turning uninterested again as she watched the crowd. Ugh, how do I hate crowds, Alice thought.

"Yeah, I know about devils fruits" sighed Cameron, who was just reminded of his father lecturing him on things he already knew fully well, making him a bit irritated "I was just wondering what power you had" he continued

"Well, control and create fire" she said again, and then continued to watch the crowd uninterested. If he already knew then why did he ask me what do devil fruits do, that's pointless, Alice thought, she didn't like the thought of wasting her voice in explaining something he already knew.

Kana looked toward the crowd of people where Cameron had just pointed to. She smiled and crossed her arms.
"I think I'll stay here." she said. "I don't want to be caught up in the fight."
In the crowd, she spotted a man who pulled out a bone from his body and used it to play music. Holy crap. Was that the work of the legendary devil fruit? She had heard stories about it as a child, but she ever believed them. A fruit that could give people powers. It didn't sound logical, but there she was watching a man play music with his own bone.
She turned toward the other girl who had just introduced herself.
"Kana." she replied. "Kana Okamoto."
After that she heard Alice whispering to Cameron. Kana turned to face the crowd as she decided to not pry into it. They had just met her, so of course they had reasons to keep their secrets from her. Although, her attention was pulled back when Cameron replied loudly. Much louder than Alice's tone.
She watched and listened as Alice explained devil fruits and displayed her own.
/So she's a devil fruit user too./ Kana thought. /I guess this crew is full of them./
They seemed strong, so she doubtful of her own early death at sea.

“Alan!” Leif called out loudly, bursting into his hotel room. “Alan, where are you?”

Even though he had slowed himself down, it hadn’t taken Leif long to reach the hotel. He hadn’t gone that far, after all. A clicking sound near Leif’s head caused him to whirl around where he found himself looking down the barrel of a pistol.

“A-Alan?” Leif stammered. “What are you doing?”

Though he fully well knew, or at least believed, that he could survive being shot in the head by a bullet, even at point blank range, he still did not like having it so close to him.

Alan pulled his gun back and sighed. “You really shouldn’t come running in here like that,” he said. “I thought that you might be the Marines, coming to get me. They would have shown just as much curtsey as you did when you came through the door.”

“Sorry,” Leif muttered. “It’s just…listen, I’ve decided to join a pirate crew.”

“You what?” Alan questioned him, now frowning.

“You don’t like the idea?” Leif asked.

“Well, yes, yes I do like it,” Alan replied. “They could offer us protection, but it would mean aligning yourself with the scum of the sea. You might get an even higher bounty than you already have. And if that happens…you won’t ever be able to go back home. As you are now, you haven’t done anything illegal, technically.”

“I did think of that and I’ve got a plan,” Leif replied.

“Ah, then let’s hear it,” Alan said, crossing his arms over his chest.

“It’s not finished yet,” Leif told him. “I need some more time. Please. Would you come with me?”

Alan smiled at him. “And here I thought you didn’t like me. Very well, I’ll come along. I did promise to unlock your inner weaponry, after all.”

"New knaves needed for pirate crew! More knaves needed for the Blizzard Pirates!", King Zastur bellowed out as he strolled down the streets, with his loyal subjects obediently following behind him. Although they recived many odd looks as the king bellowed out repetedly, they had yet to meet anyone wanting to join the Blizzard Pirates, which lead to his subjects asking as nicely as possible if they could try something else or at least take a break, but was quickly shouted at to shut up and try and get more animal members, to which they joined in the chant.

Kana spotted a man yelling and calling himself a king and asking for animals. At first she gave him an odd look. Then, she remembered he was one of the men at the scene. After seeing a man pull out a bone from his body, Alice demonstrating her devil fruit powers, and a man who called himself a king, she knew that this crew was the one that she was meant to join. Blizzard Pirates huh? What an interesting name.
"Hey you!" she called to him while running towards him. "I want to join!"

For a moment King Zastur and his colleuges were starteled when someone actually answered him. "There, you see? If a king demands something he's bound to recive eventually! You both should know that by now!", the man of royalty said smugly to his pets, stroking his moustache in satisfaction, to which they merely replied with a 'yes sire'. He then turned to the possibly new crew member and asked arrogantly; "Well girly peaseant, what is it you can do for a pirate crew? Hmmm? What skills do you possibly posses?", tapping his foot impatiently, wanting an imediet answer.

Roko turned to answer Watashi's question.

"Our ship is docked at the town's port, Watashi, and it was called: The Windwalker by my father who built it. And... How the flag looks like... Well I guess I can make a short description. It is a black flag with a frozen skull in the middle, there are two swords with rubies in the handles crossed in the back pointing down and there are snowflakes surrounding the skull. You have to see it with your own eyes to get it better."

Then he had an idea.

"Let's head to the port!!! That way we can al get familiar with the ship" -he grinned.

Kana suppressed a grin as she came face to face with the older man. It was quite surprising that he was almost at eye level with her.
"I'm a weapon specialist, sire." she told him.
Mentally, she facepalmed. Sire? His king attitude was really getting to her head.
"Uh, sir." she stumbled. "I mainly use my throwing knives though."
The girl gestured toward her black belt which held her precious knives. Looking behind the man, she saw animals following him. What was with this man? He called himself a king and animals followed him.
Devil fruit. Kana concluded. She thought they were impossible just a few hours before, and she had never expected a self-proclaimed king to join a pirate crew.

"Oi, right Roko" Said Cameron, turning to Alice, who for some reason he couldn't stay annoyed with "We should be going" he said, then began walking away towards the ship, his habit to not even look back kicked it and he just kept walking, puzzled by why he wasn't mad anymore

King Zastur waved his hand in an unintrested way before announcing; "Well, I don't believe we have a weapon specialist to assist in my, I mean the captains cause! Welcome aboard, or at least you will be once we rejoin with my, I mean our crew." He then started walking back up from where he came, signaling for Kana to follow him, with his pets following obediently behind him. As they walked along, the king whispered to Peck; "I need you to get a birds eye view on where the hell those knaves are, they didn't tell me once where their ship was." Peck sighed before replying; Understood your highness, I shall search for them right away, before flapping away at high speed. It's only natural you forgot where they were boss Ted said reassuringly which was answered with a quick strike to the gut by his master's sceptre.

Kana smiled and nodded. She was quite happy to have finally found a crew that was willing to accept her, and at the same time, she was very amused with his man's attitude. As followed him and his animals, her eyes widened as she noticed him talking to his followers and striking one of them.
"Are you a devil fruit user? Um." she asked.
Then Kana soon realized that he has not given her his name.
"I'm Kana Okamoto." she introduced herself. "And you are?"

Between the two of them, Leif and Alan had very little in the way of worldly possessions. Most of that stuff had been lost in the battle between the Revolutionaries and the Marines. As such, it only took them about five minutes to grab their things and head out the door.

Soon they were back out on the street. Alan went by himself first and then Leif followed in his wake about twenty feet back. The Marines were looking for a man in his forties and a teenage cyborg and while there was nothing unusual looking about Leif that might attract attention, other than his eyes, which were covered by his sunglasses, the two didn’t want to take that chance.

Before they had left the hotel, Leif had given Alan instructions on how to get back. He had been intending to lead the way himself, but as Alan pointed out, Leif was the stronger of the two and he would be able to provide protection much faster if he were keeping an eye on the Revolutionary.

Far from reassuring Leif, this only made him more suspicious of Alan. He already suspected that the Revolutionary might be staying with him only so that he could use him as a bodyguard. Unfortunately, Alan was also his best bet at getting the rest of his cyborg parts online and until that was accomplished; Leif would have to put up with him.

Seeing that the fight had ended the very drunk Draken didn't think that was a fun thing at all. So in order to create a new one the man leaped off a tall building combining the momentum and his great strength to slam into the ground. He hit the ground with such force it sent out debris and small shockwaves. Looking up from a three pronged position the man pulled out his sword and awaited any responses of the seemingly large pirate crew that had recently formed.

"Heyeyeye!!!Whyyyyyy theeee figghttinggg stoooppppp?" asked the drunk man.

As the king carried on strolling along in which he hopped was the right direction he answered her rather dramaticly; "I am King Darral Zastur of the Zastur royal family, of Zastur Kingdom! And yes I do have devil fruit powers, I am able to comunicate and understand animals! And you girl should speak to a king with more respect!" Ted the hiking bear then waved a little hello to her before commenting; The boss isn't really a king anymore since the locals went loopy and threw us out, to which the king snarled; "Idiot! I am still a king! Plus she can't understand what you say, it's all just growls to her! Oh, this my bodyguard Ted by the way."

Ahh. He could comunicate with animal. That would explain why they were following them. Talk to him with more respect?
"Ah. Okay Mr. King, sire?" she stammered.
Kana shouldn't have to address him with such formality when they were crewmates right?
She smiled and waved at the hiking bear to had growled at her. It looked as if it had forgotten Zatsur was the only human that could understand them. She really wished that she could have heard what he had said.
"Hi Ted." she greeted.
A hiking bear as a bodyguard? Kana shrugged. It seemed like a pretty good idea.
"Where's our ship?" she asked the older man.
She noticed. while looking around, that they were no where near the port.
