Name: Gael Iura
Age: 21
Bounty: 1,000
Species: Human
Occupation: Royal Shichibukai
Allegiance: Pirate, Royal Shichibukai. Cause he can.
Home Village/Ocean: Grand Line
Appearance: In recent times, Gael has cut his hair much shorter, to around the hair length of Ti’ar and Ranyx.
History: Gael grew up in a very peaceful village. He never liked fighting or others, always endeavoring to avoid conflict. At the age of ten, he found the Ki Ki no Mi washed up on the shore. He looked at it for a while, and then ate it for no particular reason. That day, his father remarked about their family not having anything to eat. He felt bad about eating the fruit he had found, so he left his house for a while. While thinking about his family's food shortage, he noticed a plant that was growing very rapidly at his feet. Fruit burst fully ripened from it, and he realized that he was the one who created it. He kept it secret from his family, but practiced using his powers.
At the age of thirteen, he accidently killed some animals with his powers. He vowed to never kill again, unless it was absolutely necessary. He later learned about the existence of Devil Fruits from overhearing some Marines discussing some major pirates. He decided that he wanted to learn about the Fruits, and that became his mission.
At the age of sixteen, he decided to become a 'pirate', purely because they had little restrictions. He 'borrowed' a middling sized boat and he set out to look for a better captain than he.
He does not know about the state of health of either of his parents.
Personality: Gael is an extraordinarily kind man, always trying to help others whenever he can. He has a very childish and hyperactive personality, tackling and hugging any animal he sees. He will also occasionally leap onto men’s backs, as if nonverbally commanding them to give him a piggyback ride. He is protective of others and tries to eliminate unfair situations, which he can’t always do. He has a pattern of going from island to island, feeding the entire population and helping them with their crops. However, due to Gael dabbling with a dangerous plant chemical, Gael’s personality has been seriously affected. His temper has shortened drastically, and doing any of three things could send him into a murderous frenzy. Those three things are: burn a forest, insult his boyfriends, or murder innocents. He is also prone to reverting to his ‘unstable’ state, where he becomes more violent and less friendly. Ti’ar and Ranyx are searching for a way to fix this.
Ship: Pwuga, and IQ enhanced manatee, and Figdra, a DF using and IQ enhanced frog.
Devil Fruit: Purano Purano no Mii
Type: Paramecia
Effect: Allows user to control plants.
Special Abilities: Has none.
Learned Techniques: 21
Vines: Gael produce a mass of vines, used for entangling and capturing enemies.
Poultice: Grows a clump of dried herbs that, when soaked in water, help seal minor wounds, numb pain, and clean wounds.
Symbiosis: Several roots grow out of Gael and grow into the ground. Gael absorbs the moisture in the ground to help him feel rejuvenated or to aid in a more complex skill.
Gas: Creates a plant that can give off several different gasses that Gael isn't immune to.
--Immobilizing: Immobilizes victim(s), but can also affect Gael.
--Sickening: Disables victim(s) momentarily, but can also affect Gael.
--Deadly: Gael accidently used this on a raven, but has refused to allow himself to use it again. Can kill anyone who inhales it in five posts.
--Aromatherapy: Helps strengthen those that breathe it in. It can have calming effects, too.
Sea Lily: Gael creates a large lily pad on a part of the sea. It is sturdy enough to hold up to three people, but it is not too large. It is Gael's defense against the sea's power.
Shield: Gael creates a short, thick tree to block incoming attacks.
Titan: Gael must use Symbiosis for this move. Gael creates a massive amount of pliable vines and wraps them around himself.
Parasite: Gael sticks a needle-like seed into his opponent, and a large mass of roots erupts out of the seed, pinning the opponent to the ground. The victim lives, just barely living off the energy and sugar given to him by Parasite.
Spear: Gael creates a number of bamboo spear that shoot out of the ground.
Trap: Symbiosis must be activated. Large Venus-Flytrap like plant appears underneath target, and will eat and digest target.
Grenade: Gael creates a small bush, laden with chestnut-like fruits. Gael can throw these fruits, and they will explode upon contact with any hard substance, sending needles flying in all directions.
Octopus: Gael implants his roots into the ground, then creates a sphere of vines and/or branches, encircling himself. Then Gael makes a good quantity of vines outside the sphere, which intertwine into a total of eight thick vines. Gael then attacks with these vines. This is a stalling tactic used to prepare Trap or Titan.
Eyesight: Gael can sacrifice his real vision in order to gain vision from the tips of his vines.
Lichen: Gael starts producing vast numbers of lichen from the branches of his trees, forming a thick wall of vegetation that grows back quickly.
Mannequin: Gael forces a bunch of wood to form the shape of a human, and then he chops it off from the ground, and can control the wood with his powers, making a fully functional automaton.
"Transformation": Gael creates a fruit that looks extremely similar to the dragonfruit, which, when eaten, disturbs the electrical impulses in his brain, causing him to undergo a massive personality change. He becomes much more violent, prone to anger, and cares little to not at all about keeping people alive.
Rokushiki:Soru: Allows the user to move at extremely high speeds in one direction.
Geppou: Allows one to jump off the air itself to stay in the air for longer than normal.
Weapons/Items: Fenrir, the Animals, and his Flora Almanac

Goals: To learn about the Devil Fruits. Oh, and remove the ocean. That too. He also wants to ensure that neither of his boyfriends die.
