Serious: Dusk Pirates vs Marines (open to dusk pirates and all marines)

Carlos realized what he had to do now. He had a blob of poisoned lava heading towards his beloved ship, and he already had water pouring into the ship, the Hooded Justice was going under. He steered the helm so the ship will face directly towards the marine ship Maximillion was on. He grabbed the levers that activated the Squid cannons - all of them. IT was the point of no return, no point in holding back now. "Ok girl, this is where your curtain is going down, you gave a good show, but the fat lady sang. Now, I know you have something in you, so take it all out right now, or regret it in ship heaven, I'll miss ya" Carlos said to the ship before pulling the levers and quickly heading for the railings. The ship required some time in order to pump so much water into the cannons.

Carlos jumped overboard, attempting a landing on the surface of the Smoking Gun, but a stream of air blades was heading towards him from the Dusk's ship. He quickly drew his hook blades and attempted his famous Reverse Boomerang technique once again. He didn't have enough time to return the blades back at Manta, but he could redirect them to an easier location. He swung both of his hook blades at the air blade that was about to cut him, and "grabbed" it like it was a solid blade. From there, Carlos used the hooks to throw the air blade away from him, giving him speed and allowing him to complete his landing. "Reverse Boomerag!" He said, before sprinting towards the port hole of the submarine and sliding in.

The Hooded Justice was slowly sinking down, While the Squid Cannons drank gallons of water. Maximillion's attack couldn't be avoided. The blob of molten metal hit the ship, melting large chunks of it. Fortunately, the ship was sturdy metal, with seastone on the bottom, and was relatively cold from all the water it absorbed. As a result, it managed to survive the initial melting, and was now a deformed chuck of metal, lighter than ever. Without any warning, the Squid Cannons were ready. They all blasted the enormous amount of water that they collected out in a condensed stream, pushing the lump that used to be a ship forward. The ship was lighter after having parts of it molten, so it was naturally even faster than it should have originally been. It was faster than a cannon ball, and was heading towards the enemy marine ship in a straight line, aiming to ram into it. This was the last act of the Hooded Justice.

Back aboard the Happy Dusky, Frank was busy facing a gigantic cyborg. Apparently, the cyborg was not expecting to face a real zombie, like most of Frank's enemies. "You are really wasting your air buddy, I don't give a damn about anything that comes out of your mouth" Frank said in response to Bolt's claims. "Speaking of wasting air... You're gonna need a lot of it!" Frank said as Bolt prepared a punch. As a part of his unique anatomy and fighting style, Frank rarely dodged anything, and this punch wasn't any different. Even though Bolt's punch was obviously a powerful one, Frank wasn't very familiar with the concept of dodging, so he never considered it.

He moved forward, extending both of his arms over Bolt's extended arm to try and reach his neck. He allowed Bolt's punch to connect with his chest. The blow sent his entire body back, but his arms were left behind after detaching from his body. The arms kept moving forward thank to their momentum, moving in to choke Bolt. Frank's feet drifted on the deck as his body was blown back and into the Dusky's mast, producing a powerful crack out of his back and the mast. Luckily, as a dead guy, the only damage he received was pain, which shot through his spine and through his entire body. "Uhhhh! Damn bucket of bolts!" Frank swore under his teeth in reaction to the pain.

What I'm gonna do? I'm planning on beating you!

Dio said to the phoenix guy. He saw the flame balls aiming for himself and also the ship, but actaully didn't react. He waited thill the very last second and then said with a loud strong voice

Dark... VALLEY!

As in an instant, the whole ship was covered with dakrness.. It was so dark that the people weren't able to see 5 meters infront of them. All that was seenable were the blue flames. And that was for Dio enough. At the spots were the flame balls aimed to put the ship at fire and also the flame balls aiming at him, Dio made somekind of Black Holes which would suck the fire in. I'ts a big problem for Dio to dodge bulelts, but attacks made of elemant are just FUN for Dio. All the flames were nullyfied with the darkness Dio made and after that the darkness that was on the flor changed from liquid to solid. And it formed some kind of spikes. Then Dio launched the spikes in the air, there were about 50 spikes and all were launched in the air, probably one of the m would hit the flying phoenix.

Benjamin saw the Spikes coming at him, he just what to do he let the spikes hit him, but he absorbed the spikes into his flames, then he yelled back to Dio thanks for letting me loan your spikes, but I don't need them so you can have them back and with that "have them back" he launched the spikes out of his wings, only this time they where incased in flames, then he flew down to the deck, where he transformed into his human form, from there he pulled his gun, the gun was loaded, no matter how powerfull he was, he would still be hurt, then he said too Dio I wil give you 10 seconds to surender before I shoot you with seastone bullets, and I am starting to count, 1, 2 the gun wasn't really loaded with seastone, it was a scare tactic, the same one he had used on his final exam at the marine academy, then he continiued to count.

Lenny saw Maximillion insult him and Benjamin, he didn't really get offended... but apparently the phoenix-man had. This was no good, aparently Ben couldnt hold his anger for long, and as he took Lenny and dropped him in the mast of the Dusk's ship, Lenny shouted: "NOO" at Benjamin, because he almost fell and had to grip himself to the mast for some seconds, and also because he had taken Maximillion's insults personally, and he wanted to attack him directly.

Lenny watched how his new member fighted Maximillion insanely but bravely, almost getting hit a couple of times, but at least he didn't die, and Maximillion had turned and not tried to attack him again. But now... it was Lenny's life that was in danger.

Maximillion had come directly to speak to him, he said that he wanted to battle him, he wanted to kill him cause he was an evil guy. Lenny had met evil pirates, but this was the worst one, and he doubted he would ever meet one like him. The golem attempted to hit Lenny, who was in the mast... and from what Lenny knew, this golem could only be made of lava and poison.

Lenny reacted quickly, using Soru he ran down the mast (because of the effect of speed he didnt fall down) and jumped, being about 5 meters from Maximillion. Lenny's guts would show now, as he battled the captain of the Dusk Pirates. Lenny wouldn't let himself loose easily, and he had to rely on his speed and dodging skills, because he couldnt endure attacks like Maximillion's... the only other option was counter-attacking them with the sun's power.

"Maximillion, captain of the dusk pirates, you will never understand my true power, because only the stars are equal to me... will you battle fallen stars, that training by physical manners, would never die until they by themselves are consumed?" -Lenny's heart was pumping quickly as he said this words. He quoted a line from a book - "When sorrows come, they come not single spies, but in battalions."

Having said this, he used an almost unpredictable attack that could only dodged by looking away, and it's not that people like Maximillion would look away from an attack, so this was almost certain to hit, it would be way too casual if he just looked away, specially when he was concentrating in Lenny. Lenny used his Blinding Light attack, which would blind Maximillion for a small amount of time (1 post, so only your next turn).

Without waiting, since this was only a distraction for a compounded attack, Lenny used another technique that was very unpredictable: Light Bomb. He threw the light bomb near to Maximillion's feet... as this was made of light it didnt make any sound, he made it explode in a powerful explosion that could leave serious injuries if he didnt manage to dodge it. The Light Bomb was the strongest version of his light explosives. He tried to do all of this staying away from the golem.

For the first time, Quintus's features registered surprise. This man was moving so fast...even soru users were not quite this fast. A sudden explosion of pain from Quintus's back caused the sniper to reflexively dive forward. He rolled and then came back up, spinning so that he was now facing Mercury. For a moment he slipped, falling on one knee as he reached back to feel his wound. His hand came back a moment later, sticky with blood.

"Blast it," Quintus muttered. "That's going to leave a scar." He grimaced, remembering an old adage he had heard about swordsmen and the positioning of their battle wounds. "At least I'm not a swordsman...otherwise I'd probably be having seizures right about now."

Slowly Quintus stood. His legs were shaking slightly, but he was quickly regaining his balance. So his opponent was fast. Very fast. Ordinary bullets weren't going to cut it. Scratch that, none of his bullets were going to cut it. Unless...yes, that might work...no, it would work. It had to work.

Quintus was physically unable to keep up with someone who was this fast. Perhaps, given time, he might have come up with a bullet that could move at the same speed as Mercury, but at the moment that was just wishful thinking. Ultimately what it all came down to was that if this didn't work, he was dead.

"Alright," Quintus breathed. "First...positioning." Both of his hands curled into the shape of a bird's talons as he scanned the deck with his eyes. "There," he murmured as he chose his spot. "That's where I want to be."

With that done, Quintus charged Mercury. He knew that he could have run straight for the position that he wanted, but Mercury would almost certainly beat him there and tried to stop him from reaching it. So he was going to be a little bit tricky. Not to mention, just a touch suicidal.

"Hawk Nails!"

Quintus sprang towards Mercury, his hands extended in their talon shape. While they were like this, he could scratch a person as if his hands really were claws. Put simply, this was an extension upon the concept of the Shigan as well as Quintus's bird-specific traits.

Darnel drove the submarine underwater on max speed away from shrieker. The fishman could potentially damage the hull, and the lost of two vessels would be too much for the hooded knights to suffer. Darnel steered the ship toward mantra. He had a bone to pick with him. Mantra had defeated him once that wasn't going to happen again, but mantra may have been too much for him. He knew carlos had made into the submarine. There was no doubt carlos had evaded mantra. "Carlos I'm going to bring u closer to mantra. Give that guy a whopping for me." Darnel drove the sub closer toward dusky happy.

Quincy dodged left of the punch getting knocked down by wrath's kick. He fell down cracking the deck below and falling. Quincy landed on the lower deck his back hurting in pain. He had to reach inside his medical kit for his needles injecting himself with an anesthetic. The pain began to fade away. In fact he could barely feel anything anymore. Quincy jumped unto the deck ready to fight a second round with wrath. With his body no longer suspectible to pain, quincy could fight without any hiderance. He threw a chemical ball with his other arm toward wrath.

Bolt was freaking when Frank's arms began chocking him on their own. Bolt had never fought anyone like this. This was too freaky even for him a cyborg. Bolt fell on his knees clinging to his throat for air. This guy possessed enormous strength. Bolt couldn't breathe. He managed to reach inside his stomach pulling out a single stick of dynomite. Bolt lit a match and threw the dynomite unto frank. If he didn't let him go soon the dynomite would blow him to bits. Bolt fell to the ground turning blue.

After Quincy fell through the deck, Victor had though that he won. He took a few steps away and had a quick glimpse at the other ships and found that the Hooded Justice was nearing its end. Hearing something heavy appear behind him.

"I thought I finally had you a moment ago. I guess I was wrong."

Victor had no choice now but to revert to using his devil fruit again. He did not want to but the fact that Quincy had started using ranged explosive attacks again was a demanding situation. However something else was up about Quincy. First he had an unusual level of strength. Now he was fighting energetically while sustaining major injuries.

Again, Victor positioned his right hand in front of himself between his legs and shot a diagonal vector cage. This was a set-up for his next move. With the vector cage up, Victor shot a second vector cage with his left hand through the gaps left by his first cage. In total, there were four finger vectors moving upward diagonally and three finger vectors aiming between them. The diagonal vectors would serve a little as a shield while the middle finger vector destroyed the orb. The two other finger vectors were moving straight at Quincy at the speed of a punch. One was aimed at each of his shoulders.

Ellen Niarbel, shipwright and explosives technition of the Dusk Pirates, was begining to make up, while covered from head to toe in bandages. The reason for this unfasionable amount of wrapped piece of cotton on her was after toying around with a few of her explosives from her experimental collection, she accidently gave herself some rather nast burns, though nothing that wouldn't clear up after a week or so. "Hmmm I really should of threw those explosives some distance first. Eh, it was worth it to see that beautiful orange glow though.", She murmered to herself from the bed of her workshop, also her living space. "Hmmm where is everyone?"

It's like the Vice Admiral had disappeared as soon as the battle had began. No signs of him were shown. Shown above the water at least. As the battle raged nothing came from Derge Sr.. No attacks, nothing. It was like he had just vanished.

A ripple of water near the hall of the Dusk's ship appeared. All of the sudden a burst of water shot upwards, as Derge Sr. appeared once again. With a rush of great speed the man cleared the distance from the water to the deck of the ship. Stepping onto the ship Derge Sr. quickly found his target and singled him out. With Lenny attacking Maximillion it would have been unlikely for Derge Sr. to have been detected. This situation became even more unlikely with Lenny's flash and bomb attack combination. Seeing a great opportunity Derge Sr. took it.


At his top soru speed Derge Sr. rushed the target clearing the distance. With nearly perfect timing Derge Sr. thrust his arms forward only nano seconds before hardening his mussels. With the combination of super speed, super endurance, and super strength in all of on attack; the damage would surely be great. Even if the attack wasn't a direct hit the shockwaves it would produce would be devastating to a large immediate area.

[Under the Ocean]

Silently under the deep blue a hunk of metallic human technology, combined with the fleshy work of god stat in wait. That was, until the right moment had appeared. As a shadow drown out what little light there was, the cyborg came to life. Beeps and lights flashed on, as the propellers sprang to life. Hurtling through the deep towards the surface, the cyborg confirmed it's target.

Slowing to a dead stop nearly 20 foot under the flag ship of the Dusk pirates. Unhinging one of it's arms the giant cyborg pointed it at the bottom of the ship hidden to all above by the water. A malicious voice from inside the mindless metallic beast sounded.

With a boom that sounded throughout the area the giant shot it's arm cannon. A large explosive ball of steel hurtled through the sea at the hall of the ship. The round had more than enough power to kill even the largest of seaking in one blow. If it were to hit the Dusk's flag ship it would devastate it.

As the steel ball moved towards Happy Dusky, the battles between Mercury against Quintus, Bolt against Frank and Victor against Quincy were taking place. It seemed that everything was going to be settled on the ship... But that was just a wrong speculation. Before even anybody noticed, the ship was hit from below and a huge hole was caused in the middle of it because of the explosion, making the water from the ocean start getting inside it. In one minute time, the ship would sink... The Happy Dusky was doomed to fall. How would the Dusk Pirates deal with this?

Mercury vs Quintus

As the two of them had started their battle on the ship, the explosion was heard and the ship started shaking as the water was getting inside it and eventually started sinking it. It seemed that the two of them did not have much time for their battle and Mercury would have to be fast enough at dealing with Quintus.
As soon as the marine started moving towards him in order to "scratch" him with his technique, Mercury did something completely unexpected. Instead of moving to dodge the attack, he stayed at his current position. The marine moved towards him and the scratch hit him at the chest, scratching through the armor to the point that Mercury's skin could be seen and slightly damaging him. However, by sacrificing a part of his armor, Mercury had brought Quintus to his desired position. Without losing any time, while Quintus was touching him, Mercury swang both his arms in an attempt to slash the marine at the back with his hand blades. Would the attack work or not?

Manta

As soon as he realised the explosion that took place on Happy Dusky, Manta jumped high on the air with the help of his Shockwave Fly technique. The man was extremely tired because of the usage of the Shockwave Machine Gun, but he could hold a little bit longer to attack his enemy. He was planning to stop Carlos' plan to avoid having the Hooded Justice crushed on the ship of the dusk pirates. That was the only thing that he could do, since everybody else was engaged in a battle. "Damn you!!!" he said before he swang his scythe to form bigger air blades than before that moved towards the remnants of the Hooded Justice in order to have them destroyed before they would crush on the ship.

Lenny and Derge Sr. vs Maximillion

As Lenny used his bomb of sunlight in order to damage Maximillion, the pirate captain decided to do something that he did not want in order to avoid getting damaged by the marine. He decided to sacrifice his ogre attack so that he would defend himself. As he got blinded by the marine, Maximillion realised that he was going to use an attack while he could not see and so he decided to use his ogre as a shield. Before the sunlight bomb was going to hit him, the man let the golem get dismantled and the substance of the venom and the steel lava fell downwards, colliding with the sunlight and eliminating each other before it was too late for Maximillion... Because of the collision of the attacks, many of Mercury's Hei Hei Soldiers got destroyed and Maximillion's soldier power was greatly decreased...

However, there was something else that Maximillion failed to notice... Derge Sr., one of the marine Vice Admirals was moving towards him and was planning to attack him with his all powerful Rokuougan. If Maximillion got hit from that attack, he would definitely receive a significant amount of damage... Koga, who was on the ship screamed "Be careful Maximillion!"... And a loud sound was heard. Derge Sr. had indeed hit somebody... But, the person that he hit was not Maximillion...

"R.A.M. 2!!!" Koga screamed in agony, as he watched at his cyborg friend getting hit by the attack of the Vice-Admiral. Apparently, R.A.M. 2, who did not seem to do anything in the whole battle decided to do something that could probably benefit the Dusks completely. The cyborg decided to sacrifice himself for his captain... As the attack hit him, Koga looked at R.A.M. 2 and cold sweat started covering his body. The cyborg's body parts were scattering around the place. His Subagun, his gun, moved towards Koga's legs. As for his arms, they fell in the sea and his body cracked and broke down. The tiny screen on his forehead broke completely and his head was cut off from the rest of his body. It rolled towards Koga. Apparently, there was a message on the screen... It could be barely read.

Ignoring the fact that Dio and Benjamin were battling around him, the turtle fishman looking turtle grabbed the head and looked at the message. It said "Thank you for everything... Koga . I was glad to help you and your captain... It seems to me that I found a goal for my life and completed it, all thanks to you. Goodbye.". These were the last words of the cyborg... "R.A.M. 2!!!!!" Koga screamed once more. Enraged from the death of his best friend, he decided to assist Maximillion in his battle against Derge Sr. and Lenny. The turtle grabbed the gun of his best friend and said to Maximillion whose vision had recovered and realised what happened. "Let's deal with them, captain..." were his words and Maximillion nodded before the two looked together towards Lenny and Derge with a serious look on their face, prepared to start their battle. Koga and Maximillion would take on Lenny and Derge Sr. in an all-out battle.

With Happy Dusky destroyed, without the soldiers of Mercury and with R.A.M. 2 dead, the crew had suffered a terrible loss... How would they deal with the powerful marines? Would they win or not?!

[OOC: Basically, for anybody being on Happy Dusky, the ship is getting destroyed so the battles are going to take place on the ship that is sinking. Also, if I happened to make any mistakes, please tell me I will edit to correct them. It's been a while since I posted here so mistakes are natural.]

Darnel steered his ship toward happy dusk to save the rest of his crew from drowning below to ocean. He hoped that carlos could deal with the air blades before they damaged the smoking gun. What the hell was derge doing firing upon the dusk ship while their allies were still there? He could have just as killed some of the hooded knights as well as dusk. The smoking guns would serve as a lifeguard for the marines stilla aboard the sinking ship.

Quincy nearly fell through the ship into the water. It was clear that the happy dusk wasn't going to survive this battle it was sinking fast which presented an opportunity that quicny couldn't pass up. This guy was a devil fruit user and couldn't swim. Quicny turned his body where to the left the vector would miss his good arm and the other hit the left arm. Once the vector hit his arm quincy ran toward the marine attempting to spear him into the ocean "for happy dusk!"

Bolt rolled off the ship into the ocean with the water touching frank's arms they quickly lost their tight grip allowing bolt to breathe while floating int the ocean. Bolt threw the arms on the sinking ship. He began to swim toward max to help his captain.

With the Happy Dusky done for, Victor had to get off the ship. He managed to hit Quincy but it was not enough to scare him off. With Quincy rushing toward him, Victor had to think fast.

Victor just used both hands to shoot vectors so he had to rule them out. There was no definite way for Victor to avoid the strike without dodging completely. As Quincy could no longer feel pain, Victor had to incapacitate him one more. He planned to use a short soru to get just behind Quincy and strike him then...

Victor had to wait until Quincy was too close to him to change the direction of the attack. Victor tensed his legs while Quincy got closer... and closer... and closer. When Quincy was about five feet in from of him, Victor pushed himself forward and used a soru to move diagonally around Quincy. Unfortunately, because he tensed his legs too long and missed the timing by a few milliseconds, Victor's right arm was clipped by Quincy. Quincy's massive strength caused Victor's arm to dislocate severely at the shoulder. It felt like his arm was being torn off but he could not falter. With a quick motion, Victor managed to bring his left arm around and performed an index finger Shigan aimed at Quincy's back. He did not care what he hit; in fact, he did not aim at any part of his back in particular. He just wanted to get it done and rush to the sinking ship's edge. He sensed something in the water. Darnel had disappeared into the water earlier but he was no man to die by drowning....

[Sunlight Charged: 24 and 3/4 Posts]

Lenny saw everything in front of his eyes very fast, as in the blink of an eye. Everything had been so harsh and part of his objective had been fulfilled, the explosion of his light bomb had managed to weaken Maximillion. The golem and light explosion that had cancelled out each other and destroyed part of Mercury's soldiers had also made Lenny step backwards to avoid being hit by the flying magma and venom.

To Lenny's fortune Maximillion had been blinded, and as he had blocked his attack just for a little, he did not notice Derge Sr. coming into the scene. This were good news, going against Maximillion with some help would be great, as Maximillion was blind, Lenny decided not to greet Derge Sr. or anything like that, that would've alerted Maximillion of his prescence.

Unluckily, one of Maximillion's crewmates (which was half-robot) blocked Derge Sr.'s rokuogan and was destroyed. Lenny would not ever want to be hit by an attack like that one. But now someone else had joined the fight, it was a big turtle fishman... or so it seemed.

"Haha! So now our battle will be two on two!" -Lenny exclaimed, he was a little bit nervous on fighting Maximillion, but it would be his job since he had long ranged attacks as well as melee attacks. -"Maximillion! Have you comprehended my powers yet?"

Lenny smiled at Maximillion, hopefully he could avoid his attacks. As a start, he had used a light bomb that was powerful, but if that was powerful enough to counterattack Maximillion's golem, what would his strongest attacks do? Maximillion would have to be very skillful at the time of dodging and blocking his attacks.

Lenny decided to use another attack similar to the light bomb, but it was a combination of light and heat power. Lenny used soru to quickly move at Maximillion's right, so facing his right side of the body he extended his arm and used his Nikkoo Beam technique against Maximillion. If the beam hit him it would explode and cause serious injuries along with burning him.

Quintus was surprised, but he didn't allow it to show. He had not expected Mercury to allow Quintus's attack to hit, but it changed nothing. In fact, if anything this would make what Quintus was about to do seem all the more realistic.

Quintus's mind automatically went into hyperdrive, just as he had been planning, and he reassessed what was going to happen. He had originally intended for Mercury to avoid his attack and come at him again from another angle. From their current position Mercury's choices were a little bit more limited. His trained eyes picked up on the movement of Mercury's shoulders and Quintus hurled himself back from the other man. The hand blades did not hit Quintus's back, but they sliced into both of his sides and he almost fell. Fortunately he managed to regain his footing. Had he failed to do so, it might have been the last move he ever made.

As Quintus fell back from Mercury, he used another Ostrich Spear and with its momentum Quintus launched himself towards the aft of the ship, landing with his back against the upper deck. He reached down and drew out his pistol, the one that had the Flammable Gas bullet attached to it, and he raised it up in front of his chest. Blood began to spill out of his latest wounds, but he forced himself to ignore it for the time being. Right now he had other concerns.

"Ha!" Quintus crowed, his voice filled with pain. "It looks like you fell for my trap! Just try to attack me now! With my back up against this wall, there is no way that you will ever catch me off guard again!"

The ship was still sinking, but Quintus wasn't worried. What he was about to do was suicidal enough already. Whether he succeeded or failed, it could very well be the last thing he ever did. He wouldn't have the strength to try again. In comparison, a sinking ship was nothing to him.

Frank's throat clogged in surprise after Bolt rolled to the ocean. Having seawater touching his arms made his devil fruit's powers weaken, it felt like his arms were dead again. This was by far the worst feeling anyone can ever experience, and Frank remembered it from the first time it happened to him. Bolt then threw the arms back on deck, and Frank quickly ordered them to return to him. The weakened arms slowly crawled along the sinking deck, reaching their master and connecting to his abdomen. He was shocked, but he had to snap out of it: He was a devil fruit user on a sinking ship, he had to escape! But how?

He looked around, doing his best to neglect the feeling of death that his arms still bore. He looked for a way to safety, something that'll let him reach the Dusk's second ship without touching the water, the mast was no good, and the remains were too tiny for him to sail upon, but then he saw something that made a plan enter his mind. He rushed and grabbed the main sail of the ship, yanking it off the mast and down to the deck. Once it was down, he spread it to it's fullest before lying in the middle of it. "Yomi Yomi No Astral!" He said after taking a deep breath to calm his nerves. His soul then left his body, appearing as a faint cloud of smoke. His body turned limp in the middle of the torn sail. "Yomi Yomi No Boooooh..." He whispered as his soul entered the sail, possessing it from within. Then, by putting all of hi strength into this single task, Frank made the sail rise off the deck, carrying his body. It was a draining task, but Frank should manage to reach the Dusk's ship before collapsing. "Last call for the Dusk pirates!" Frank shouted form within the sail, his voice sounding spooky and ghostly, echoing around. He would give every dusk pirates a chance to get on his sail before he flew back to the mothership.

Inside the Smoking Gun, Carlos rushed to the controls after slipping into the submarine. "Captain, let me handle this, you go help the other board the ship from the outside!" Carlos said, and grabbed the controls without waiting for an answer. He yanked a lever to make the sub marine rise, so it's upper layer would rise above water and allow the remaining Hooded Knights to board it. The Smoking Gun's upper layer was similiar to a ship's deck, and could be easily boarded, but that was true for Dusk pirates as well, someone had to go up and make sure no Dusk pirates slipped inside.

As Ellen walked up deck with a sackfull of explosive for good measure, she was greeted with the site of marines attacking her crew mates, which caused her to simply ask one thing; "What the hell was going on when I was asleep?", while looking around bewildered at all the chaos around her suprised that no-one asked her to blow something up yet. She then heard a sudden cry of Franks voice for Dusk pirates, fro the ships sail to her confusion, to which she approached it, puzzled on where her crew mate was. "Frank? Where are you? Why are marines here? Do I get to blow something up?", Ellen asked hastily, smiling manicly at the last question, clutching her sack filled with gunpowder delights like a child would to a bag of sweets.

Although he didn't want to show it; it was obvious that Derge Sr. was exhausted from preforming his last attack. The heavy breath that pumped his chest, the beads of sweat that ran down his face and the overall look of exhaustion made it apparent. Derge Sr. wouldn't be able to do many more attacks like that. Picking himself back up, Derge looked up at the foe. His plan had failed and now the enemy was aware that Derge was trying to kill him. Derge would have preferred a quick and easy assassination over what was to come any day.

Shaking the fatigue and tekkai from his arms, Derge Sr. cursed under his breath. "Son of a bitch! Of course I would have to take out the worthless one!" "Sigh, oh well...I suppose I should concentrate on the battle at hand, I bet they're going to want revenge too." said Derge Sr. looking at what seemed to be a fishman.

"Soru"

Stomping his feet repeatedly in a fraction of a second Derge shot forward. Speeding along Derge Sr. used his speed to close the gap between him and Koga in the blink of an eye. Once the distance was suitable for his plan Derge preformed a rather close range attack.

"Rankyaku Triple Roundhouse"

Using the momentum from his soru Derge Sr. kicked his right leg upwards sending a vertical rankyaku at Koga's mid-section. Spinning his entire body Derge Sr. launched a horizontal rankyaku with his left leg, at what would be the fishman's shoulder/neck level. Still using the momentum of his spinning body Derge Sr. preformed a backwards kick which not only shot off an airblade, but also propelled himself away from the immediate area to avoid any costly counter attacks. The final airblade was a vertical attack aimed for the fishman's head and if it hit, it would split it in half.

[Warren/Battleship Cyborg]

Appearing from beneath the the deep blue ocean, the large metallic giant opened fire. This time the cyborg used it's finger cannons. Ten shots bombarded the two areas where Mercury and Quincy stood. Only a minute later another 10 shots blasted out at their targets. Even with the advanced targeting system of the cyborg, the close proximity of the two marines to the targeted pirates would most certainly put them in danger of being hit by the bombardment.

Spotting the top deck of the smoking gun, Victor decided that it was the opportune time to jump. He flung himself over the Happy Dusky's edge and dropped toward the submersible. He tried his best to stick onto the ship's hull as he fell but would still need a bit of assistance making it safely onto the Smoking gun.

Darnel ran to the deck of the smoking gun trying to save Victor. Two of mantra's air blades had struck the hull of the ship. One made a huge cut across the top of the deck, and second one nearly cut one of the two engines. Darnel ran toward the edge of the submarine to catch Victor with his hand. He hoped that he made it in time to save his crewmate.

Quincy fell over the deck of happy dusky unaware that Victor pierced his back with a shigan. He fell over into the water sinking into the ocean deep. His body began to change due to the affects of the steriods. His body began to shrink and grow feeble. His hair grew long and whiter. Some of it began to fall out. His skin began to wrinkle. Quincy was now 70 years old in a matter of minutes. He swam up with the rest of his strength to the surface. Giant cannonballs were fired straight toward him. He summoned a mass chemical ball to blow up the first one. "Frank is that you? You got a new ability? Well that's cool and all but would u mind helping me?" Quicny hoped Frank would hurry before the cannons reached him. Otherwise dusk would need a new doctor. Quicny could see that this giant was also mechanical possibly a cyborg "Frank if you can get me near the giant I can shut it down from the inside. Our anatomy maybe different but I think with my medical knowledge I can kill it. Get me near its head, and I'll do the rest!"

Maximillion and Koga vs Derge Sr. and Lenny.

As Derge's attack moved towards Koga, the turtle prepared himself. Apparently, he probably did not have any attacks that could rival the almighty attacks of the powerful Marine Vice Admiral, but he had something that could not only give him a chance to dodge the attack but also reflect it towards Lenny. It seemed that the rage the turtle held for his best friend's death allowed him to come up with a new technique, a technique that would definitely surprise everybody.

Without losing any time, as the attack moved towards him, the turtle spinned his naginata. As soon as he spinned it, a portal appeared. Apparently, as his weapon had consumed the Jigen Jigen no Mi, it could create portals for a parallel world. As the parallel world was empty, there was nothing that would get damaged inside it if the Rankyakus hit the place... In no time, Derge's attack entered that parallel world and Koga closed the portal. The first part of his newly thought technique was performed.

As soon as he closed the portal with Derge Sr.'s attack in it, the turtle fishman looking turtle immediately turned his naginata towards Lenny's direction. It seemed to him that the marine had just targeted Maximillion. It was the perfect time for Koga to show what he planned to do. Without wasting any seconds, he opened a portal with the naginata and said "Naginata Art # 2 - Reflection!" as the Rankyakus of Derge Sr. came out from it and moved towards Lenny in an attempt to cut him down and cause him termendous damage.

Koga had done something simple. While the attack was moving in the parallel world, he opened a portal in front of its way and made it come out in the real world, while it continued as it moved before. That way, the attack was easily redirected towards Lenny... Would the attack hit or not?

Maximillion on the other side, who was being targetted by the low-ranked marine laughed as he instantly used his shockwave to repel himself on the air and dodge the Nikkoo Beam. "Interesting..." he said "Very interesting. You know, I have great knowledge over fruits... Sunfire is something that always intrigued me. If I knew that you had access to it, I would probably go after THAT fruit, I guess... But, my Paddo Paddo no Mi is great, too... Hmphmphmphmphmph! Allow me to demonstrate you its power!". Then, as soon as he spoke his words, he moved his right hand forward and he launched a barrage of shockwaves around the area that the Happy Dusky was sinking. As soon as the steel lava merged in the water, it got solid and so a small surface of steel was created that would buy some time for his crew members to defeat the marines and get away... Of course, they were in big trouble because of the cyborg, but with the water surface the chances for the crewmembers to survive were slightly increased. "See? This fruit is what makes me the guy with the captain material! Hmphmphmphmphmph! Do you really think you can win against me and my crew?" were the man's words as he looked at Derge's attack that was redirected towards Lenny. Would the attack hit or not?

Mercury vs Quincy

Meanwhile, as the ship was being bombarded and Quintus was standing, Mercury used his Geppo to get high on the air. "Damn you Marines..." he said angrily because of the way the events turned, prepared for a final showdown against the marine. "Rankyaku!" he continued saying, as he launched a rankyaku towards Quintus in an attempt to damage him.

Manta

Finally, Manta seemed to have run out of strength... As he was very tired, he stopped his rampage-like attack to rest a little bit before he would continue with his attacks.

Victor was now sliding down the hull as if he was falling. Spotting Darnel on the deck, Victor figured that he would have to slow himself down to be caught. Placing his feet on the hull, Victor used a Soru to push himself away from the ship. He only moved a few feet but he managed to negate his downward force for a second. He began to fall again, but before he got too fast, he grabbed Darnel's arms.

"Glad you were there to catch me, Darnel."

Victor had a quick thought to himself: If I could learn to use Geppo, that would not have been a problem. But first I need to train my soru... As he was pulled onto the Smoking Gun, Victor turned and looked to see if anyone else was going to board.

"Damn it!" -Lenny exclaimed when he saw Maximillion dodge easily his attack. And Derge Sr. had not been any luckier. He heard "Naginata artsomething" and apparently he wasn't hit by Derge Sr.'s rankyaku's. And the... then Lenny remembered... that the ship had come out from a slash of that naginata... maybe it could store things too... and when Koga slashed in his direction and saw the rankyaku's coming out of the slash Lenny rolled to the side while listening to Maximillion. One of the rankyaku's passed flying a few centimeters from his face and the tip slashed a little of his right shoulder, but just a bit.

"It's not that fact that I could think that I can beat you Maximillion, it's justice that will win against those that hurt the innocent." -Lenny was looking at Maximillion with hate coming from eyes.- "Even if you can beat me you wont be able to go against the world."

Lenny said this before sending a covered attack... Maximillion would never suspect about it. Lenny used a double kick in the air that sent two fast, not too big but dangerous rankyaku's towards Maximillion, but as he did this he also opened his palms to send a Heat Wave towards Maximillion.

The Heat Wave was inivisible and was only slightly notable because of the distortion that it caused in the air... but the distraction of the rankyaku's was a perfect cover for this. If the attack hit Maximillion it would burn his hair and clothes, leaving serious burns on him.

"Hmm intriguing little weapon you've got there." said Derge Sr. forming a plan.

Leaping into the air, Derge Sr. stopped about 10 feet above the deck of the ship. Looking down upon the turtle, Derge couldn't help but snicker. It was obvious to anyone that knew Derge Sr., he was up to something.

"Storm Leg"

Kicking his legs at Koga at high speeds over and over again, Derge Sr. launched a multitude of of airblades. The strange part was that they were aimed for the most part in front of the turtle. As the blades hit the deck of the ship, wood and dust shot into the air creating a screen in between the two sides. As soon as the smoke screen was created, airblades began to shoot out of it. This caused the distance the fishman could see them coming from to diminish greatly. However the number of the blades being shot would mostly likely be the greatest threat.

"Soru"

Derge Sr. uttered the word under his breath. He shot himself in a specific direction, as he was still hidden by the debris in the air. Where Derge Sr. popped up next, would be anyone's guess.

Darnel had his crew on board the ship. It was time to go. Quintus had his bird that could fly him away. This battle was pretty much over. Derge and the meteor heroes could handle Maximillion by themselves. Darnel grabbed Victor aiding him inside the sub. Once they were both inside the submarine Darnel ordered a retreat to Carlos. Their job was complete. Then a den den mushi started ringing. Darnel picked up the den den mushi when vice admiral Doppleman began to speak "Calling all marines I repeat all marines must evacuate the area. The 556th division fleet is closing in your location. You have about half an hour before our ships open fire on dusk. We will not be responsible for any casualties that will be killed in this attack." This annocement got Darnel's blood cold. He quickly hung up the den den mushi in order to call Lenny and Derge to warn them if they had already not got the warning.

Quincy couldn't receive help from Frank, so he swam toward Max hoping to help them from Derge. After a few minutes, Quincy made it to the ship. He slowly climbed up the ship unto the deck. God this body is too weak! I'm exchausted. I can't move another inch, Quincy thought. Quincy had indeed made it to deck only to fall unto the floor trying to catch his breath "Quincy reporting for duty, Captain" he said out of breathe.

Bolt who was swimming toward the ship to help his captain saw Frank's corpse flying in the sky by some kind of sail. What kind of power did this guy have? He had to be stopped from reaching Lenny. Bolt lifted his right arm removing his hand. He fired the gattling gun built into his arm. His plan was not to hit the corse, since it would have no effect. Bolt aimed for the sail Franking was riding on. With enough bullet holes, the sail would sink into the sea taking Frank with him. He would be completely useless then.

Frank could see the Dusk's ship, he almost got there, but then a bullet punched a hole through him. The pain was unbeliavable, stronger than anything Frank would have felt with his normal body. He couldn't allow himself to get hit any longer, he had to leave the sail now! With the rest of his strength, Frank made the middle of the sail, with his body and Ellen's body in it, fold in, and turned the entire sail into a flying trampoline. Then he stretched the edges, firing Ellen and his own body away and towards the Dusk's ship. In the meantime, he shot his soul out of the sail and back into his body, escaping from the pain that the bullets would have inflicted.

The fall was pretty big, but Frank couldn't die from falls, so he positioned himself beneath Ellen to absorb the fall. The result was spine cracking, but Frank's spine already cracked about 7 times. He didn't even have any strength to shout, he just rested on the deck with his eyes closed, powerless.

Carlos heard the transmition, leaving him only one thing to do. He spun the helm of the submarine, turning it 180 degrees. He then pressed a red button to launch a red flare out of the submarine's deck, signaling any Hooded knights that weren't in that they were retreating. Then, he pulled another lever, powering the throttles and shooting the Smoking Guun forward and away from the battle, the knights were fleeing.
