Steel Village and Purple Heart Pirates Take on Fishman Island

Seeing the hydra regenerating heads after it had them destroyed, Maletrix decided to go with something else in order to completely destroy it and overwhelm it, as well as show his strength to his comrades and especially his captain. Eager to go as far as possible, he took out two more pills from his pockets and swallowed them. These pills were two more of the Energy Steroids that doubled his strength for each steroid he consumed. As he swallowed them, he could feel the strength that started overflowing his body. He knew that at that time he was much stronger and so he would be able to take out the powerful sea monster.

"Yes, that's it..." the flying fishman said, while he moved towards the right side of the sea serpent, where there were not many heads and there was only its body. He smiled as he moved both his hands together. Water from around the place started gathering around him. Apparently, he was using his ultimate technique, a technique that was stolen from mermaid combat. This technique, was an attack that allowed the user to gather the water from around him and launch it in the form of a devastating beam against his enemies to cause great damage. As the water charged slowly, Maletrix could understand that his mastery over the attack was getting greater and that because he was underwater, it was much more powerful.

"Ultramarine!" he said as he launched the water beam towards the hydra, with great force, after charging it for quite a while in an attempt to completely destroy the main body of the hydra, leaving it only with its heads. With the consumption of three energy steroids, the fishman division's commander's strength was much greater than before. Moreover, he was underwater and he used his ultimate water based technique. Maletrix was pretty sure that the water beam would cause great damage to the hydra if it did not destroy it...

Still playing his song Cannibal Buffet Vergil bobbed his head as he sang only to hear the sound of roars and battle in the distance, he was annoyed as he felt it disrupt his sense of musicality. Vergil slung his guitar on his back and dived into the water swimming towards the sounds of battle. As he got closer he saw a large ship which had been coated and thought to himself another bloody pirate crew coming here?! When he saw the hydra he realised these guys needed help and swam towards the hydra, he had seen hydras before living down here in fishman island but didn't really care about them as they never bothered him.

Vergil climbed up the back of the hydra digging his sharp finger into the hydra and probably hurting it. Vergil felt his stomach roar with hunger and since he was here took a chunk from the hydra and gobbled it up. For a hydra it tasted alright a little bit too salty though, Vergil ignored it and continued to climb this beast. Vergil reached the middle Hydra's head's neck and dug his teeth into the back of the hydra's neck as he took another chuck out, the blood made the hydra taste nicer but still was a bit too salty. Vergil had blood dribbling down his mouth dripping from his chin and he smiled as he seemed to have severely injured this creature of the sea, but he wasn't done yet and used his Skin Tear technique as his long finger nails dug into the hydra blood spurted out over his chest and Vergil wiped it off on his other hand and licked it off his fingers smiling as he twisted his finger nails right then left before ripping another large chunk of innards and skin from the hydra's neck.

Walden saw Ami strike the hydra's left head with her tail and smirked, he was happy to see her fighting not that he knew if she had ever fought before but as she fell down towards the ship screaming probably full of adrenaline Walden opened his arms up ready to catch Ami just as he'd promised he would .

Thor got to his feet and nodded. He then walked up to the deck and took in what was around him. There was a big ass fish figthing the entire crew. He blinked twice and looked back up, not excpecting to see the same thing. But, of course, he did and the same scene stood before him.

"What....the fuck?" Thor said, looking at the Hydra

Kill giant monster now, ask questions later. he thought to himself. He then heald his hand out and blue energy appeared on his hand and began forming into a sphere shaped form. After he was done and the energy was charged, he shoved his hand forward, shooting the energy at the Hydra. But before that could happen, the Hydra sunk underwater and his attack missed. He then looked around and blinked yet again.

Ami landed in Walden's arms, curling her tail around his waist, throwing her arms around his neck and quivering, her eyes wide. "Th-that was sc-scary..."
She swallowed and then looked up at Walden, managing a shaking smile. "Th-thanks for catching me!"

Her eyes widened and she stared up at the hydra, suddenly noticing something. "Oh my! There's something...or someone up there...biting chunks out of the hydra!"

Walden was happy that he caught Ami but when she looked up at him he could see the fear in her eyes. Walden hugged her close to his body to comfort her, he didn't like seeing how scared people were and as he looked down at her he said to her, "That was very brave of you Ami."

Walden heard the Hydra roar but he wasn't sure if it was a roar to frighten us or out of fear or pain. Ami told him that there was a person on the Hydra and Walden found it hard to believe that a man could be on a creature that big and ferocious. Walden put Ami down gently and said, "That guys going to get himself killed." Walden wanted to go and save the man or help him out but didn't know how. He didn't want to risk climbing up that beast again.

Vergil ran up the hydra's neck then dug his long sharp finger nails into his neck and swung his body around his neck as Vergil's nails cut down around the hydra's neck and let his nails come out from the hydra's neck as he was thrown forward by the momentum of his jump. Vergil landed on the ship and slowly stood up looking around at the crew, they all seemed to be looking at him in surprise, it may have been because of the blood all down his body though or all the blood over his teeth and dribbling down out of his mouth.

Walden looked at the man and couldn't believe what he was looking at, the blood dribbling from his mouth made him feel sick.

With the combined efforts of steel village the hydra was defeated. The beast had five brains, but only one body. With all the heads being attacked at the same time, the beast couldn't focus on all of them. With Maletrix's attack on the hydra's body, a huge hole was left on the hydra bleeding it out. The beast let out one roar before sinking into the ocean depths leaving the ocean filled with its blood. Sangjo returned back to the helm to steer the ship "hey is everyone alright?" He called before sailing the ship toward fishman island.

Before Iken could answer. Hiro looked at the Hydra sink into the depths. "What! it's already over!". Hiro was Kind of dissapointed that he didn't just jump in and grab a piece of action. Hiro then thought to himself he would like to stick with these guys a little longer. "They just killed a Hydra." He thought to himself quite impressed and excited that he found a bunch of new people to test his strength against.

He then Turned to alphonse. "Um, Sorry about earlier. Maybe we could start a fresh." Hiro extended his hand to Alphonse and scratched the back of his head with his other arm.

Seeing the Hydra falling in the depths of the ocean, Maletrix stretched himself. He looked around him like a cool guy and he scratched his head with a smile on his face. Maybe he overdid it... That beam caused a bigger hole than he originally expected... However, it was natural as he performed the technique underwater and he had already consumed three of his Energy Steroids and had his strength increased exceptionally.

"Maybe I overdid it..." he said while yawning and putting his right hand in front of his mouth. "That poor creature... Maybe I shouldn't have used that much strength. That attack was painful..." he thought, as he reached the ship and jumped on it. "I am alright..." he said to Sangjo as he prepared to steer the ship and started lying on the deck of the ship for a few seconds in order to take a breath. After all, the Ultramarine technique took a lot of his strength and it would take him a while to recover...

Looking around the ship, Iken was waiting for Thor and Naomi frantically. Both of them were below deck and taking a long time to come up. Turing towards the direction of the hatch, Iken complained. "Oh come on what the hell's taking them so long." Returning his attention to the battle going outside the bubble, Iken's hopes were raised.

His fishman division had already taken care of the threat with little to no help from anyone on the crew. With Sangjo at the helm dodging the monsters swipes and the others outside fighting, the hydra was utterly defeated. Without even landing a single blow to the Nation of Steel nor any of it's passengers. One blow after another was delivered to the hydra, at no point did it even look like the crew was in danger. Form Walden and Ami double teaming one side to Maletrix's and Monty's devastating display of power with their fishman arts. Even the new comer fishman was able to deal major damage to the mighty beast. Soon the hydra sank into the ocean, never to be seen again.

Iken crossed his arms and watched the display of power and awesomeness. He could only smile as his crew destroyed the beast, their team work was flawless. It was hard hitting and brutal, attack after attack, Iken pride only grew more. With this Iken turned around, confident his fishman division could handle themselves.

As he turned around Iken seen Thor approach and fire a beam at the pretty much already finished foe. Iken shook his head at his first division commander before speaking. "A little to late my friend, it seems to have been taken care of. That division is truly a god send to this crew, their power underwater is undeniably greater than many of other pirate crews combined." Iken said praising the division.

Remembering someone tried to talk to him, Iken looked towards Hiro. Striding over to the sumo, Iken stopped a few feet back. "Well, what was it again, Hiro correct?" Iken asked the man. "Eh anyway, welcome aboard, you'll make a great member once you get a little stronger." said Iken. Iken knew this would get to the man, he had seen people like him before. Iken figured it would be like a challenge to the sumo, to get stronger.

One by one, the warriors of the great battle returned to the ship. Maletrix come on board and collapsed on the deck. He laid there breathing hard catching his breath, Iken was especially impressed with the strength he had shown. However, then Virgil jumped on board, he was covered in blood from the hydra. His mouth was dripping with blood and chunks of flesh from their foe.

It was immediately apparent to Iken that the fishman standing in front of him was a cannibal. This made Iken a little uneasy, he had met plenty of cannibal fishman before, but this guy took the cake when it came to it. He was brutal and didn't seem to care what he was eating. Iken's eyes traveled around the ship. He looked at Maletrix on the deck, Iken wasn't sure if he had fully exerted himself or not. He then scanned over Ami and Walden. He doubted they could fight him off, even of Ami's naivete didn't get in the way. Then, finally there was Monty, the only one Iken was confident could hold off the strange fishman.

Iken's hand inconspicuously slid down and gripped the hilt of his lightning blade. Looking the fishman in the eye, Iken stepped forward to greet the newest arrival. "Hello there, that was quite a display you shown out there. I've never quite seen someone that brutally tore apart their prey like that. If you like, you could use our facilities to clean yourself up and we'll give you a ride the rest of the way to the island for your help." said Iken trying to keep a smile the whole time.

The Hydra had appeared and the battle unfolded fairly quickly. Nocht had thought about joining, but the rapid and decisive response of his new crewmates had made any such intervention unnecessary. Hardly a minute after the battle had begun it was over, the hydra sinking down towards the depths. It pleased the doctor to know that he wouldn't have to fear much for his safety so long as he remained in the crew's good graces.

In the past, he'd experimented with the use of Creepers underwater. As their was still enough oxygen to allow them to form under his command, the process took nearly a full fifteen seconds. They were also not very adept swimmers, doing an awkward and relatively slow doggy paddle. There was no reason he couldn't use them underwater, but it was a sure sight likely that they'd have been useless. Nocht didn't really want his first display of the amazingly versatile and powerful little critters he'd spent his life developing being a show of soggy impotence.

"Well, that was an exciting start to what will no doubt continue to be an exciting adventure in an exciting new land on an exciting new day!" Nocht babbled to nobody, being by himself at the prow.

Turning his back to the ocean, watching the light on the deck turn red for a moment as the ship passed through the giant cloud of blood where the beast had swam in their paths moment ago, Nocht walked towards the center deck. There a huge assembly had grown, a great mix of humanity and fishman and mermaid kind. It was an interesting sight.

Standing by the edges of the gathered assembly, the scientist looked for a familiar face to help him idle away the time until they arrived. He knew Iken best by now (as little as that was), but the man was captain and much too busy for small talk. That lively, blue-scaled mermaid was friendly enough to talk to, but seemed to already have her own small crowd. Nobody in the crowd looked either injured or free to talk.

Nocht decided to be patient and just mull things over while he waited. There'd be time enough for excitement after he arrived.

A strange women pulled on alphonse dragging him into an alley she was covered in bandages , what skin was visible was as pale as a ghost and she covered herself in a white kamono with a red piece of material wrapping around her torso and her eyes were the only part of her which were visible. her hair was hidden. she almost looked like a ghost or a spectre. she then said to alphonse "hello" the women smiled from under her bandages it was visible from her eyes "it show you have very strong feelings"

Alphonse saw the Hydra and immediately went into action, summoning Metal plates made of stainless steel and moving it around the ship, however before he could them into shields or a form to try and defend the ship he felt someone pull on him, he was dragged into an alley in the ship, a dark hallway. The lady had pale skin and she almost felt dead to Alphonse, she needed immediate medical help on that part.

She said that it showed Alphonse had strong feelings, she was probably talking about his loss of Sarah.. he still missed her and bringing the memories back were hurting him, reminding him of what he thought would never happen again. His coffee was still on his hand, he took advantage of that and took a sip of the cup, trying to calm himself down with the caffeine that was put into his body. Alphonse decided to respond to her in suspicion to who she was and how she ended up in the ship, the thought had just crossed Alphonses mind.

"Who are you under those bandages?" looking at her body he realized Medical attention was important in this situation. "And please come with me, you need medical attention." Alphonse was getting ready to show her a doctor, but he needed to see her response to his questions first. His necklace that Sarah gave him was still dangling around his neck.

the strange women pulled out some claws she hid in the back of her kamono they looked like the ones that they were made by alphonse himself. "no im not wounded at least i dont think so, i awoke up somewhere i couldnt remember where and i was covered in them there were some people feeding me though" the women spied the necklace around alphonse neck. she then pulled of some bandages covering her mouth so she could be understood better. she then said " i can tell you are missing someone who are you missing?".

"Enough..." Maletrix said to himself as he looked above at the sea, while lying on the deck, one minute after he started doing so. "You have slacked off very much..." he continued saying before getting up and looking around to see the people who had arrived at the ship. He turned his head around... Everyone seemed to be gathering... Ami, Thor, Naomi, Hiro and many others were getting on the ship in order to continue on their way to Fishman Island. "What will happen if they watched at me lying on the deck like that?" Maletrix thought, afraid that he was seen sitting down and doing nothing. He did not want to give a wrong impression...

However, he let these thoughts slip off his mind a few seconds afterwards. Seeing Iken greeting Monty, the flying fish fishman walked towards them in order to listen to their conversation and understand what they were saying. Moreover, in the battle the crew just had against the hydra, Maletrix noticed that Monty was a capable fighter and he also wanted to congratulate him for that. He wanted to learn more about him... Maybe he could get along with him... Maybe they could be friends and partners. The commander of the fishman division had no other choice but to try.

As he arrived, he realised that he missed the first part of his captain's words, but he was lucky enough to don't miss most of it. He listened to Iken who said "I've never quite seen someone that brutally tore apart their prey like
that. If you like, you could use our facilities to clean yourself up
and we'll give you a ride the rest of the way to the island for your
help.".

Upon listening to that, Maletrix smiled. It seemed that the new recruit of the division earned the respect of the captain of the huge pirate crew. That was a relief for the flying fish fishman as the captain commander would not have a problem against Monty and so with Maletrix's division. Even if nobody said to Maletrix that the new recruit would be sent to his division, the commander of the fishman division believed that Monty would be sent to his own division as he happened to be a fishman. "That's a relief..." Maletrix thought, while taking a deep breath, showing to Iken and to Monty that he was thinking of something.

Then, he smiled. He scratched his head with his right hand and then he raised his left hand in order to greet Monty and introduce himself. He said with a clear and serious voice, in order to make a good impression "I am Maletrix Steller, the commander of the fishman division. Nice to meet you.". Afterwards, he started waiting to see the answer of the balloon fish fishman and hoped that he would be friendly with him, too...

Meanwhile, in a nearby place in an area somewhere around the ship... On the top of a small hill, a strange creature is standing. The creature can barely be seen from the ship while he watches at it... The creature, a strange merman with six octopus legs, white hair, light blue eyes, a sharp tooth that slightly exceeds from his mouth and a purple shirt smiles while looking at the ship. He speaks loudly his words as he looks at it "Well... Well... I see we have got visitors... And judging from what they did to that poor hydra, they are big deal... Uhahahahahahahaha... Maybe they could be useful... With Namor imprisoned and out of the game, if I manage to make them attack the palace, I can take back what those pathetic slaves stole from me and have my revenge! Uhahahahahahahahaha!"

Who was that creature and what could he be having in his mind? And what could he possibly mean with his words? There were so many questions that needed answers...

Vergil saw there were many people aboard the ship staring at him and he was offered the chance to clean himself up Vergil dismissed this kind offer with a simple hand gesture then wiped it off on his arm and licked it off. "Mmm, delicious." Vergil could see their were fishmen aboard the ship and smirked, he liked seeing others of his kind and then looked towards a man who seemed a little uneasy about his arrival. "I'm Vergil" he announced out loud enough for everyone to hear, Vergil then slung his acoustic guitar round from his back and caught it in his hands and called out, "How about a little song?"

Walden saw Vergil lick the blood up and shook his head then raised his had to him to stop him from playing a song and offered him his hand, feeling cautious the whole time "I'm Walden, its nice to meet you Vergil."

Vergil looked down at Walden's hand and felt his stomach growl he could feel hunger getting the better of him and dropped his guitar so the strap would hold it up and leapt forward at Walden's hand quickly and ferociously.

Walden remained still, he was shocked by Vergil's action but not angry, he simply looked down to see his hand gone and Vergil with ore blood dripping from his mouth.

Vergil looked up with his mouth once again bloody and Walden's hand being crushed between his teeth. Vergil stood up and replied, "Sorry about that, its just hard to restrain myself, and you looked pretty damn tasty."

"I didn't really expect anything less from a piranha fishman, I could see the hunger in your eyes." replied Walden as he looked down at Vergil.

Vergil opened his mouth and offered Walden his wet, sticky crushed hand back feeling stupid and sorry for what he had done.

Walden smiled at Vergil then pushed his hand away with what remained of his arm and said, "Eat it, don't worry about me, I'm a doctor I can deal with it."

Vergil stood up and looked at Walden, "Its nice to meet you too Walden but are you sure your going to be ok?" As he asked he saw Walden's wound quickly heal over the wrist.

Walden nodded then said, "Of course I'm a star fish man, and like all star fish I have their regeneration ability."

"Regeneration?" Vergil didn't understand what Walden was talking about but he had heard about regeneration before, he had just never learnt what it meant.

Walden nodded and said "Yea regeneration I can grow back my limbs, I can force the limb to grow back quickly but it can take allot of energy out of me or I can simply wait 12 hours for it grow back on its own." Walden then strained the veins in his arm all popped out as the strain on Walden's neck could also be visible.

Vergil watched and tilted his head surprised at what Walden was doing he like everyone else on the ship was confused at what he was doing until he saw a palm form out from Walden's wrist and fingers unfold.

Walden wriggled his fingers happily then said to Vergil, "So how about we start again?"

Vergil looked in surprise and shock he slowly took Walden's hand and shook it then said, "Nice to meet you too, I'm...Vergil...........That's pretty gross man."

Walden smiled then and said "I'm up for a song, I don't know about anyone else though."

Vergil smiled at Walden as he crunched through the hand in his mouth and swallowed it. Vergil picked up his guitar again and began to strum it, "This is a song I call the beast of pirates bay, I hope you all enjoy it."

Sangjo looked around before sailing ahead toward the island. He noticed that Ami wasn't with them. With all this talk about mermaids, Sangjo completely forgot about her feelings on the situation. He had to apologize when he sees her. He felt like a jerk and needed to see her again. Sanjo hoped that the hydra didn't eat her. He wished he could have joined her in battle but this devil fruit made him useless underwater. "Ami! Ami! Where are you?" Sangjo yelled worried about her safety.

The women had said that her body was alright, although it looked pale she claimed that she had woken somewhere with people feeding her. Taking off some of her wrappings Alphonse saw her claws.. they looked just like the kind Alphonse made for Sarah. Looking around he noticed the women uncovered her mouth, she could speak alot clearer now. Alphonse noticed her eyes looking back at Alphonses neck, she must've noticed the necklace. She told him she knew he was missing someone, but how did she know all of this? He answered her, trying to find out how it was that someone could have known something he had not shared with anyone but Iken.

"I am missing my loved one, Sarah Thorn. She died not so long ago... how did you know all of this?" Alphonse was not in a threatening stance, but he was with a serious and curious face, looking at the women that gave Alphonse a strange attractiveness towards her.

John saw how powerful these guys were and he was amazed. They defeated that Hydra like it was nothing. He instantly became very pumped and started working out twice as hard just on the middle of the floor in everyone's way. He was going to become the strongest pirate on the grand line for sure with these guys to spar and train with

the strange women took of her kamono he body was not nake but it was covered in bandages like a mummy but her body shape was completly visible she then walked past alphonse and said "if you havent worked it out yet, you probably never properly knew your loved ones and didnt take notice of the little things" she was pointing out the little things like the kamono, the claws , how she had pointed out alphonse, her eyes , her voice , the way she knew what the necklace was and how she knew that alphonse was missing something. the women then started to make her way away from alphonse.

Alphonse grabbed her hand, suddenly turning more serious. "The person I think you are.... i heard she died, those claws you have I made for her, those eyes you have are the same as hers, even your posture and exact height and weight are the same as her, yet I still Don't know if this is real.." Alphonse thought of how the girl had taken him and dragged him to an alley, it was obvious she wasn't an illusion, but how could she be alive? everyone thought she was dead.. Alphonses mind went Blank, his emotions suddenly taking over his mind as he reached out and tried to hug the girl in front of him.

"You know i still haven't thrown your stuff out of the ship.. they're still the exact same way as they were before you left... Sarah.." Alphonse suddenly had a smile, the first real one since the incident.

sarah hugged alphonse back and said to him "how have you been?" she kissed him "i was scared, when i supposadly died i saw you and you told me that dying sucks and how i should fight it but i didnt for a while and you left but i started and tried to fight it and you returned and helped me fight it" she then held alphonse hand after hugging for 5 minutes. she then asked "could i see my room please or are you in a mission dont yell about im alive let everyone find out themselves."

Ami returned Walden's hug, grateful for the encouragement and smiled up at him. "You were also very brave, Mr Walden..."
She was about to innocently offer her hand to Vergil, to introduce herself too...but the moment the pirahna fishman took a bite out of the starfish man's hand, the little mermaid found herself retracting her own hand rather sharply and instead bowing her head.
"It's very nice to meet you, Mr Vergil."

Her previous adrenaline rush was now quite replaced with a slight feeling of nausea, having watched one fishman bite a chunk out of another and then the other having grown his flesh back into place.
However, deciding to be tactful, she didn't display any outward signs of disgust, instead simply sitting still and smiling in the most friendly manner that she could muster.
Cannibal or not, she was determined to make Vergil feel welcome.

Ami's face suddenly lit up with glee at Vergil's ballad about a sea monster, the sound of music putting her at ease once more. "Oh Mr Vergil! That was excellent!"
She clapped her hands enthusiastically for her fellow musician.
Cannibal or not, he could certainly perform too.

Speaking of fellow musicians...
Ami suddenly looked up and looked around when she heard someone call her name. She recognised the voice and the tone of worry in it.
It was Sangjo.
And apparently, he was concerned about her.
Feeling another odd feeling in her tummy, Ami immediately scooted over to him- smiling up at the helmsman and musician reassuringly. "I'm here, Sangjo!" she announced with a giggle, before saying in quite a softer tone. "Thank you for keeping the ship on course as we fought. That was very brave of you..."

Sangjo ran toward Ami happy that was safe. He ran up to her stopping only to catch his breath " I was so worried about you. I'm sorry about talking about all those mermaids. You are the only one for me....I mean what I meant to say was.....um that no matter what the mermaids will be like on fishman island you will be my favorite one." Sangjo said with a red face embrassed that he couldn't he empress his feelings. "What I mean to say was I like you Ami." Sangjo whispered under his breath while walking back to the helm. He was angry and saddened that he could tell ami his feelings. She probably thought he was werid or something. Sangjo sailed the ship into the large bubble surrounded the island into the docks of fishman island.

"We are here iken" sangjo said depressed.

Vergil smiled at the mermaid who told him he played well and found her pretty attractive but didn't think he stood a chance when he saw how horrified she had been when he took a chunk out of Walden. Vergil wondered over to the edge of the ship were he continued strumming his guitar playfully in his mind composing another song.

Walden saw Sangjo calling out for Ami and when he saw them find each other he smiled and overheard their conversation, it was blatantly obvious he had feelings for her and anyone could see that from a mile away, being the new guy and feeling like the nice guy he was Walden walked over to Sangjo as he steered the ship and said to him, "Its obvious you like Ami, but you seem somewhat shy, nervous and it looks like you lose control over your body when your trying to tell her how you feel." Walden didn't want to make the guy feel like crap so he then continued, "How would like me to help you out with her? I could go over there and tell her you like her, tell her your the only mermaid for you." Walden liked helping people out and hoped that Sangjo would say yes.

Alphonse looked at Sarah, she didn't know that she was on Ikens ship? this was mysterious to Alphonse but he decided to ignore it and explain it to her, he was far too happy to care. "Sarah.. we're in Ikens ship, everyone is here and currently we're underwater going to Fishmen island." He felt her kiss, which felt warm to him, she also asked him to not tell anyone she was alive yet, she wanted them to find out.
