| “It’s not a matter of whether or not we want you here, sir,” Tero said. “That is merely a matter of opinion and ultimately means nothing. No, in reality it’s more about whether or not you are supposed to be here. You have already admitted that you came here on nothing more than a whim. I believe that in most cases like this one, you would be considered AWOL and then executed as soon as the officials caught up with you.” Tero paused, looking thoughtful, and then said, “Unless, of course, being a Vice Admiral gives you the privilege to do whatever you wish, which I highly doubt. After all, that would make you little better than a pirate.”
All of this was said calmly and without a single trace of satisfaction or anger. Apparently Vincent’s diplomatic lessons were also paying off.

| Light was un-willingly listening to the conversation, it seemed like he wasn't the only captain on the ship, But his way of answering to a superior officer is much different then Lights. He knows that the man had to do something to have earned that rank, whatever it was it got him to this point. However Tero was correct in the lines he used, which couldve gotten the Vice-Admiral in trouble.
Light was getting tired of watching Mustang train, he had already gone through the countless hours to almost perfect it, Shigan was Lights specialty and his strength, he walked away and towards the impending argument. He ended up leaning towards a wall close to the conversation, he wanted to see where this would end up taking them. Light was making sure he was barely noticed and he laid on a wall at least 10 feet from them.

| Mustang was done practicing, that was good enough for one day. He sighed, sitting down and pulling a book from his back pocket and began to read, in a crouching position on the ship so that he could easily maneuver in means of attack. He looked at all the people talking and decided not to get involved, continuing to read. |

| Simo mentally sighed. "Great, just what we need a fight to break out among the CO's. I don't like this new guy. He is outranked by Nishki but is acting like the senior officer. Plus he should know not to get in Talitha's way. Especially when on her ship. Since everyone is above my pay grade I'll have to wait and hope this resolves peacefully."
He continued to stand there hoping not to get noticed and dragged into the conversation.

| For a while, Talitha was just standing there, glaring. She knew the rules! She knew the goddamn rules! But this.... if she'd been religious, she would have thought god to be testing her. But she wasn't , whole thing seemed like bullshit to her. For good measure, she sent god a few nasty curses in case he was testing her, then turned around, her long hair swooshing behind her. "Fine!" She wasn't planning to say anything else. Having an outranking officer there who could act like a jerk on her ship.... Not favourable. But she'd find a way to make it clear to him she was the real deal around here. "Mary! Jackson!" She called out. She had no intent to talk to anyone on deck, they either seemed boring, busy, or had just deeply aggravated her. This was humilitating... And so, she did something she wouldn't normally: she intended to study the enemy before attacking. | |

| Light was on his way out of the argument, Talitha had just called 2 names and none were his, therefore it was not his problem and not his mission. Light had never been the emotional type, if his name was not called then it is not his problem. Light walked back towards the other side of the wall and sat down looking up at the sky, he really enjoyed this peace and jugding by the way Talitha was acting it was probably a good thing his name was not called. He was laying down on the floor lazily, as he pulled out a small plate from a box on the ground near the wall, it had his food in it... Flan. Light enjoyed the small dessert, Ignoring the rest of the squad as he ate the small delicacy. He was quiet throughout the day, and hadn't muttered a word to anyone, since it wasn't necessary. | |

| As if awakening from a dream, Kalamity snapped back to the hear and now. After giving the young captain his theoretical, baseless Rankyaku lesson, he'd immediately fallen into a sort of dream-like haze. In his head there was a softness, a fuzziness, as if his brain had been wrapped in cotton. For a short while the world came to him, filtered in bits and pieces, slowly queuing up in his brain-stem. All at once, like a torrent, the information rushed into his consciousness, appraising him of everything that had just happened.
Advanced marine equipment indeed! Rear Admiral Kalamity had just suffered a lag spike.
Turning around, the world seeming to dart around him as his brain overclocked to catch up with events, his eye set on the intruder; a Vice Admiral, by the looks, but a man not worth the rank of Chore Boy by the sounds. The cyborg's broken mind was beyond a concept like revulsion or outrage; it was not, however, beyond a sense of rational. Clacking along in his measured, even, mechanical stride, Vince made his way over to Vice Admiral Mountain.
"Mountain-chujo," Vince stated, breathing the words as heavily as he could at the Vice Admiral. There was no poison on his breath, but the overwhelming septic stench of a hospice ward washed over the man. Talitha had turned away; no doubt her hyper-sensitive nose would still pick up some of the horrid odour, but the toxic demihuman reckoned that Raymond would get the worst of it. "Forgive me, but as co-commanding officer of this ship, I cannot agree with Blythe-shosho."
Kalamity sucked in a deep breath, doing his best not to release his normal toxic aroma. He knew that Talitha would hear his words, and would be back on him in a heartbeat. However, he had a moment's opportunity to speak before she climbed as far down his throat as her sense of smell could stand, and jumped at the window.
"You are a Vice Admiral of the Marines, chujo. While I understand your noble desire to aid our pirate hunt..." Vince paused to suck up a string of bright red goop hanging from his lower teeth. "It is counter-intuitive.
"We have many talented, strong officers and enlisted men aboard this ship. Already there are two Rear Admirals assigned to this unit as active supervisors. There is a marine Admiral of legendary reknown visiting already, to take command should the need for a decision above the authority of Blythe-shosho or myself arise. The role of a Vice Admiral is to lead and organize, to support their command, and to aid in circumstances where hostile agents or environments are a direct threat to their crew."
Vince drew in another long, rasping breath, hoping he had enough time to finish his grating, hackling shpeel before Talitha interrupted.
"With all due respect, Mountain-chujo," rasped the cyborg, leaning forward in what might be an invasion of personal space or a respectful bow, or one disguised as the other, "your presence aboard this ship undermines the efficiency of and places in danger both this crew and your own."
Kalamity clacked his jaw shut, ready to take whatever lumps he'd earned for directly contradicting Talitha's concession to the obnoxious Raymond. It didn't help that he was now stepping on the toes of two separate individuals with higher authority than his own, but something refused the rotted purple tongue in his jaw it's rest. Slurping toxic sludge noisily, he saluted the Vice Admiral Mountain and stood at attention, letting a final, brief few words pass his lips.
"At your pleasure, of course."

| “Perhaps you can, sir,” Tero said smoothly. “Perhaps you can.”
Tero saluted again and then he slipped away as Vincent approached and gave his view on the matter. The fact that the cyborg was coming into the conversation made it clear to Tero that his own presence was no longer needed.
He wasn’t disappointed. Vincent was, as always, calculated and well versed in his speech. Not to mention incredibly disgusting throughout. Personally, Tero felt a little pity for the Vice Admiral.

| Nishki sighed as they continued bickering about this point, Tali had already given a ruling and yet they still continued their argument. Nishki spoke as he sat on his chair and his cap lowered "How very brash of you Vincent, you not agreeing with Rear Admiral Blythe who is in charge of this vessel is a sign of insubordination is it not? Im afraid to tell you this, but sometimes what you think does not matter Vincent, and this is one of those cases. Especially once the issue has been settled shall i add. There is no need to cause even more disarray to the current proceedings. This little argument has taken up alot of time, but this is the verdict: at the end of the day , it is all about what Rear Admiral Talitha said since she is now the head of this squad, and therefore , her word is the law...." Nishki spoke in a casual voice, his face covered by his cap. | |

| Upon hearing Nishki's words, Kalamity turned towards the admiral and gave him a formal salute.
"Of course, Nishki-taisho. I apologize for over-stepping my boundaries." Hand still pressed to the slick, shiny metal of his forehead, the cyborg turned back to Raymond.
"Forgive me as well, Raymond-chujo," said Vince, still at attention. "I am not a product of proper marine training but rather world government beli, and as such occasionally act in manners unbecoming an officer of my rank. I will gladly accept any disciplinary actions you deem appropriate."
Lacking a face, there was no way for Vince to betray his emotions. The tightness in his exposed cheek muscles - the closest thing to an expression the cyborg had left - was visually identical to the look he gave when he intended to smile. If there were any skin left over them, though, and lips over his mouth, he'd be wearing a much different look.
Bitter grapes, Kalamity thought to himself. I hate bitter grapes.

| The fighting at hand was starting to get on Mustang's nerves, he didn't want to know what they were talking/arguing about, much less get involved. He put his face closer to his book as the argument continued, then another voice entered; someone ELSE had joined in?? Mustang sighed in disapproval and got up and began walking towards his quarters, he could tell when the ship stopped moving himself. |

| They were still arguing? Talitha had somehow, at some point, adopted the absolute certainity that any argument she had lost interest in would not go on for much longer. Mostly, this proved to be correct, since she tended and made sure to be the cause, or at least the heart of most conflicts she took part in, and just as a human can't survive without a heart, an arguent would, as well, die down if it lacked the energy to keep it alive, which she provided. Remove the heart and it dies, a simple yet effective way to end things. Well, except freakie cy-... Vince Kalamity, in who's case she really wasn't all sure about the whole heart business. Did he even have one? She wouldn't be surprised to open up his chest to find it stuffed with poisonous liquids instead. Right now, the cyborg seemed to have decided, just like some others, to feed the fire a bit, and for once, Talitha wasn't angry or annoyed about it when the sharp smell hit her and it became awfully clear to her that right now, the man had decided to breath... something. She'd have been at his throat in a second if it wasn't for the additonal certainty that he was breathing it at mister "Oh, look at me, I'm so awesome" Vice admiral what's his face. She couldn't help but smirk a bit... Maybe, just maybe, he had risen in her list of respectable, or at least not too aggravating persons. She'd remember this.... Then Nishki came in and the smirk vanished. If rolling her eyes would have made a sound, people all the way to marine headquarters could have been listening to it right now. She was standing with her back to her lovable, yet annoying superior, but she'd let him know what she thought of this, oh yes she would... later. Right now, she was growing more and more aggravated that, while Jackson had somehow... appearified next to her a moment ago, she was still waiting for Mary. Well, fine, she'd be missing out then! Not her problem! "Jackson!" Her most loyal subordinate looked at her, or maybe he did, she couldn't tell... "Yes, maam?!" He was rather low key today, maybe he had a sore throat? But more importantly... "Why are you wearing sunglasses?" As if it hadn't been hard enough to tell his expression just with the shadow of his cap to obscure his eyes, now you couldn't even tell if he had eyes anymore! Of course, it was a stupid thing to think about, but soehow it still creeped Talitha out a bit that, when removing them, she could be presented with nothing but empty sockets. She didn't like sunglasses! "Ah, yes..." Jackson paused, then saluted sharply, and Talitha almost felt a little more secure now that he was all stiff and formal again. "Requesting allowance to wear sunglasses for medical reasons, maam!" Talitha raised an eyebrow and looked at him sharply. Medical reasons? The man never even got sick, and now suddenly there were medical reasons to speak quietly and wear sunglasses? Before she could get her head around those newly acquired facts, Jackson went on. "Also, maam, I believe you wanted to be informed about what will likely be our enemies today, the red sun pirates!" A more socially adept, sly person would have noticed the sudden change of subject... most likely, a toddler would have noticed the change of subject. But Talitha, with her mind now set on the actual threat, a much welcome distraction from complicated crew problems or even more complicated health issues chose to kindly ignore everything not related to this new topic. "Indeed I do. Why the f*ck isn't Mary here to fill me in?!" | |

| Jack stood laid back with his pearl white marine uniform with the words of “LIEUTENANT” running down the leggings and sleeves. The young man scratched the back of his head, his red eyes piercing through the shadows of the hat which laid on top of his head. Jack was last seen inside the garbage can, unusually dosing off with only having a mere chore boy for company. The marine dragged himself onto the deck with all the commotion and approached the one and only commanding officer of the ship, Talitha Blythe.
“Lieutenant Jack D. Bananas! Reporting for Duty!” The Lieutenant saluted in a very formal posture, though it took him getting used to saluting Talitha Blythe.
His eyes ran down on Talitha Blythe who could sometimes be very temper mental but he of course as a lieutenant respected her. The lieutenant usually followed Mary’s orders but is very used to the command of Talitha. The man simply stood there, awaiting reassurance from Talitha, getting ready to follow his next set of orders though startled by her use of cursing words.

| ((It was on hiatus, but ill be continuing from where we left off))
Mary was rushing to Talitha "Forgive me Rear Admiral maam, i was busy finishing the final stock checks. We are heading to Mizuko island, The Red Sun pirates have taken over the islands town areas. We have a high expected casualty rate at the moment..."
One of the marines on the ship then yelled "LAND!!! WE SEE MIZUKO!!!!!" Nishki raised his eyes and then grinned at the officers on his ship "Go get em i guess....."
[[Mizuko shore line]]
Gerald watched as the marine battle ship enclosed upon the island. He sighed and then pointed to the ship. There was a bunker strecthed across the island, it looked man made, in the bunker was a row of cannon. Gerald ordered the men to fire at will at the ship. The canons boomed and and roared as it rained upon the sky aimed at falling onto the Pheonix squad ship.

| "Yes sir," Tero dashed to the edge of the ship and used the railing to launch himself up at the oncoming cannonballs. Flipping out his handgun he opened fire, his weapon giving off the same explosive volume as the cannons before them. He unloaded his ammo on the cannonballs, but only managed to hit three of them, blowing them away with his over sized bullets, before running out of shots. However, he wasn't quite finished. His jump had taken him into the path of yet another cannonball. This one he intercepted on his chest, using tekkai to protect his body from the damage. As the now useless cannonball fell towards the ocean, Tero dropped onto the edge of the Phoenix Squad Ship. He calmly began reloading his handgun, leaving the remaining cannonballs to his allies. | |

| Simo was finally glad for some action when the cannonballs started flying towards the ship. Leaping towards the railing he thrust both of his hands forward and shouted "Jet Cannon!" He then fired two jet streams from his hand knocking two of the cannonballs back into the water. He then began to fire more streams at the other cannonballs as the cannons still roared on the island. | |

| Light had been enjoying his Flan, but he forced to act once he heard the sounds of cannons being fired, and worse there were many whom could be heard as they were falling towards the ship. Without Uttering a word Light did his job as a soldier and walked towards the Cannon balls as they headed towards the ships direction. He pulled both of his index finger on his thumbs as if about to flick something from both hands. "Shigan... Bullets.." Both his fingers flicked Shigan strong invisible bullets, at least 4 of them, hitting 3 of the cannon balls as they headed towards the ship. Light then took his leg back at the remaining 3 heading his way in specific. Light took his leg back, and swung at the air itself, "Rankyaku Shuriken" An air slash/Rankyaku turned itself into Shuriken and ambushed the 3 remaining ones heading his way, the other marines would have had to take care of the rest themselves.
Light stood on the edge of the ship, continuing to eye if anything else was heading their way.

| Jack had no intentions of getting involved in a skirmish but when there were pirates around, he would be willing to do anything. He swiftly saluted to Mary as she appeared towards Talitha with urgent words, his eyes carefully staring at Mary’s chest as she had rushed forward though he kept his solid face. His hands both firmly at his sides, he swiftly turned around while hearing a handful of words arising from Nishki’s mouth, preparing himself for what was to come.
The sounds of cannonballs roared into the air, Jack found it quite annoying, slowly lumbering towards the deck, watching as his fellow crew mates who he mostly had no knowledge of were stopping the cannonballs left and right. The Lieutenant grabbed onto his goggles and placed them over his eyes, attentively watching as a stray/odd cannonball went barrelling towards him. The young man swiftly pulled his arms in front of him while standing near the railings and put both of his gauntlet plates in front of his body. The cannonball would hit the tough metal but would no bounce back but simply drop down into the ocean.
He swiftly turned on the sole of his shoe, a small yawn seeping into the air as he lazily ruffled his hair, awaiting for more orders from his superiors.

| [[Mizuko island shoreline]]
The bunkers were firing at will now, cannon balls were raining from the sky all art once continously aimed at the Pheonix squad ship. Gerald had withdrawn from the front lines and headed back to the town. Gerald found it funny that so many strong fighters were here. He would deal with them should the time call for it. Night fall was coming soon to Mizuko anyway.
[[Pheonix ship]] Mary was yelling. "We need to destroy those cannons, can anyone reach the shoreline in time?!!!!" Nishki was almost getting ready to interfere should the need be. time was of the essence.

| "I'll go..", he immediately jumped the ship and started using geppo combined with Soru, at that moment he Soru Geppo'd trying to get to the shoreline, on his way he tried to avoid incoming cannonballs but found it difficult so he instead moved to the side, getting out of the way of the cannonballs that were all aimed at the ship.
After reaching the shoreline Light took them by surprise, taking out his leg "Rankyaku" a powerful air-slash was kicked killing at least 5 of the gunman that were in a straight Line. The sixth was knocked down. Light walked over to the sixth man, grabbing him by the neck. At least 4 others turned around and left their cannons, but there were still many others aimed at the ship, Light was holding the captive by the neck, intimidating the other 4 men that had to leave their posts to attend to the problem, Light was waiting for the squad he was in to act.

| As Mary yelled to destroy the cannons Simo mentally facepalmed himself for not thinking of that sooner. As light headed off to one side of the bunker Simo headed towards the other. Gathering up a large column of wind around himself Simo took off towards the cannon emplacements. Because of the jet stream around him, any incoming cannonballs were being deflected back towards the ocean.
As Simo arrived at the bunker. He took a large intake of breath. He screamed, "Banshee's Wail!" and as he did so sent out a shockwave towards the cannons and their crews. Hopefully the sound would be concentrated and reverberate throughout the bunker hindering most of the cannon crew. The cannons directly in front of the scream however were blown apart along with most of the bunker.

| "And who the hell told you to do that?" Talitha growled, but surprisingly quietly, as not one, but two of her crewmembers took off without her permission. She supposed it was all right, seeing as they did take out those damn cannons, but still, who was ruling this show? Wasn't it supposed to be her?! Her missing out on a lesson on who they were up against didn't strike her as tragic, in fact, didn't even cross her mind. Getting closer to the enemy did. Well, not in the first place. In the first place, keeping Nishki from interfering did. Oooh yes, she recognised that look on his face. That little twitch that just said "I will be here to protect everyone and take those pirates right out, should the need be". But those were her pirates, and this was her show! So she stomped towards him, with a countering look of 'oh no, you won't step in, and the need to shall not even begin to rear it's ugly head, you can bet on that' on her own face. "Nishki, sit down and enjoy the goddamn show, and if you dare interfere, I swear I will not come near you for a month!" Maybe even longer, if he decidced to take the boss out himself... was this the proper way to talk to an admiral? Most likely not. But since when did Talitha care about such things? Besides, according to her, it was an absolutely proper way to talk, not to an admiral, maybe, but at least to a lover. With this out of the way, she decided to get to the enemy quickly.... Only to realise that a) the distance was too great for her to jump, and there was a lot of water around them, and b) the crew would be headless without her. Damn water! Damn responisbility! so instead of jumping in to attack, she turned to her crew, and started to give out orders in a tone that made it clear that she'd rather be fighting right now, but clearly everyone was too incompetent to make it without her and oh, also there was a lot of water around. "Get closer to the enemy! Load the cannons! The rest of you, get ready to attack!"
