It was truly a rare sight to see. The seemingly never-ending storm that had blanketed the West Blue since they had departed from Harbor Town, at least temporarily, lifted. There were still a few dark clouds lazing in the sky, but they were few and far between. To see the clear blue sky that resided above this water filled ocean was truly a picturesque sight to behold. It was for this reason that the beholder was somewhat glad it was going to be the first things she ever saw as she climbed up onto the deck of the normal frigate they were travelling in.

Pathea smiled as the rays of the early morning sun fell down on her from between the clouds, her hands firmly gripping the wooden staff that she had hoisted onto her shoulders, with two water-filled buckets attached to each end. It was a marvellous sight to allow her to begin her day, she thought, amber orbs shielded from the glare of the sun by her own mop of blue hair.

The bellydancer, content, turned around and walked in the adjacent direction, her anklets jingling and the water in the buckets splashing with each step and creating an enjoyable melody. Reaching the mast of the small frigate they were travelling in, the amber-eyed girl pushed the bucket-attached staff off her shoulders and placed it on the ground. She then untied a piece of cloth wound around her right forearm, before crouching low and dipping it in the water - which could now be seen to contain soap bubbles in it, soaking it, squeezing it and then beginning to rub it across the mast in order to remove the annoying impurities that plagued their ship.

It was still a normal frigate, and quite frankly Pathea would have enjoyed a bigger, more epic ship. The sailor ship the barefoot dancer had been on was at least thrice as big at this and it was named. Pathea wanted a big, named ship like that and from her experience as a slave in the Grand Line, she knew for a fact that this boat wouldn't survive for long in the waters of that monstrous sea. While Pathea was no navigator and she had never even been outside the cage that her Master had kept her in, she did know that the Grand Line harbored currents and weather conditions that were extremely volatile, they could change in an instant; this included water spouts, storms, blizzards, and other such things. If those rumors that she had heard from random conversations between the other slaves, some of whom were ex-pirates, was true, than this frigate just wouldn't survive. She knew it.

The vast few weeks that the Day Moon Pirates had been travelling together had been... eventful. She had discovered Captain-sama's lycan-like tendencies and was forced to make sure he never left his room during the night. He even hit her on more than one occasion but she had to restrain him. Hence, it seemed that if some events - such as the storm that had come up upon them only two days ago - came during the night time, she had to take charge. Of course, she was thankful that Grace's amazing navigational skills had gotten them through that relatively unharmed.

Pathea even had opinions regarding the crew members. Grace was a bit hot-tempered, but otherwise she was a very nice, compassionate, brave girl and very strong too. Sheral was a bit too obsessed with games, being occasionally a bit out of it when he was prevented from playing. Genshi was a tad normal among them all, with this confident air about him and he was rather optimistic. Shadow was... well, she would say many things about him. He was attractive, brave, had some knowledge of pirate life and generally a rather interesting person. He was also a bit more mysterious than the rest of the bunch, which was perhaps the reason Pathea found him so interesting.

By now, she had cleaned more than half the ship, humming a soft melody to herself as she washed the ropes at the edge of the frigate. She looked out at sea, gazing at the blue expanse. She let it overcome her, the wind caressing her cheeks. It was spectacular, the freedom was unreplicable. This was the sea, and if there was one thing that Noyamano D. Pathea knew, it was that this was her home. Where she could be free. It was her strength, because freedom was power. Oh, how she would do anything to thank Captain-sama for bringing her out here again, when she had thought she would be captured and detained by the Marines in a stupid jail, forever weakened by that seagreen rock they had with them that seemed to make her sick.

The wind blew suddenly and Pathea's blue hair wavered in it, and she brought a hand up to tug a lock behind her ears. Her bangles also seemed to jingle with the motion. The amber eyed teen smiled as she looked across the horizon, her hands now on the edge of the boat. A few tears came to her eyes; she did not know why. Maybe the wind was irritating. She wiped them clean with her thumb, suddenly noticing a blot in the horizon. And what was... apparently... was it really...? Is that a tree?

Pathea looked up, knowing that Shadow was up on the Crow's Nest. She took in a deep breath. She did not like shouting, but on pirate ships it was a must. "Erm... Shadow-san! W-What... is that up ahead? Is that an island?!"

"Hmmm ? This is ..." Shadow's heard from the Crow's Nest.
He walks to the edge and looks down at Pathea.

~ The past few weeks have been quite good actually. Aside some minor fighting with Genshi, for not any important reason, and getting furious at his captain once, when he "changed" one night and there was a bit of a fight to restrain him, he felt this crew was, at the very least, interesting. He had realized that his captain, he was actually a good guy, and it didnt seemed as if it was his fault this "transformation" occured. In time, he thought, they would find a way to minimize it and help out the man. As for the rest of the crew, well, he wouldnt really show it, but he had a good deal of respect towards Pathea. She also was the first person from the crew that Shadow aknowledged as a crewmate, and maybe, why not, a friend.

Back to the currect events now, Shadow wears his jacket again, he had took it off while doing some work out to kill time. His wounds from the battles with X-Skull and Kianothalion had cured, although he now had a scar on the right side of his abdomen.
He then resumes what he started saying, pointing towards the direction "it is an island but .. thats, quite odd, I think I see ... a gigantic tree .. !" he is somewhat puzzled. What was that thing ? Now, he had traveled to the Grand Line for quite some time, one could say he was knowledgable enough about it, but still, that was really odd. This tree was just .. huge !!


Some distance away, covered by fog
"Captain, did you read about the Oro Jackson ? There's madness going on in the Grand line !!" someone says to a person, that is obviously, the captain.
"Mmmmmmmmm, is that so ? Well, this here is West Blue, we dont give a damn !!! ... instead .." he smiles and gets up from his seat. ".. So those "rookies" have made it here ? Why, our intel was really good, I am smart ~!" a very tall and slim man reads the paper. He smiles even wider, but thats all seen, he is shadowed "You will come back to me .. ya girlie .. !!!"
Who is that man ?

((I just made a reference to the Atlantis war to show that we are in the story dammit ! (no we wont go lol) xDD ))

Genshi was cleaning the dishes at the time. He didn't really mind doing it, anything to make his crews' daily lives easier. He was a bit worried at the mysterious transformation that the captain went through. A few days ago, he had left a plate of food by his door, the next day it was still there.

'I hope he's eating something in there." he thought to himself.

He looked out the window once he finished his chore, he saw something. Were his eyes tricking him? It was a tree.

"Sweet an island, sweeter an adventure." He said.

He ran out to the deck where Pathea was cleaning, running over to the bow, looking out at the tree.

Grace was at the helm of the ship steering and then she saw the island "Ohh in case yah all had your head in the sands!!!! LAND HO!!!!!" Grace grinned excitedly humming some godawful tune for the sake of excitement. she was having fun. This was her first pirate voyage after all and she was looking foward to growing some more as a pirate. She liked all of her crew, especially Pathea and the captain. She didnt think much of shadow, just that the guy was strong. That was about it.

With an island approaching, Genshi decided to finish up his chore, maybe prepare some food for the trip. Who knows whats going to happen. He ran into the kitchen and looked at his inventory list he kept over the sink. They had enough for a decent lunch box. He got to work, hoping to finish before they reached the island.

"If they starve out there, I'll never forgive myself." he thought to himself, preparing the lunch boxes.

(im back sorry for leaving unexpectadly mainly to do with hospital/suicide attempt ,rest to do no internet access)

shenshe walked out shouting "whats happening?" and "I Still dont understand why i have to be locked away". He grabbed his swords and made sure they were perfect then placed them in a stand on the deck. then he walked over to pathea who was cleaning the deck and said "is there any food available or was i too late?" he thought to him self (im hungry cant i have some food). then he sat down stairing at the island approaching he new something bad was going to happening there and he was going to be affected.

shenshe was hungry and very tired when he was ignored when he asked about food he shouted in rage "I DONT CARE ABOUT ANY ISLAND I JUST WANT SOMETHING TO EAT" shenshe then turned and grabbed his swords and stormed into his room a normal chamber and pulled out all the equipment and items he would need just to make sure he had what he would need when he came onto the island.

erique woke up in the storage deck behind several barrels of gunpowder then walked over to get dressed and make sure all his stuff was safe and not taken. he then sat in the corner on a bag of flower started to draw things that came into his head and made sure he didnt get any un-nesciarry attention. he hadnt bathed in years.

Genshi heard the captains shouting. Guess he didn't realize about his change just yet. He was prepared though, he pulled a plate from the oven, it was still warm hopefully good. It was there most of the morning after breakfast was made, but food is food.

"Oi, Shenshe, come get some dinner slash breakfast slash lunch slash brunch." he shouted.

He also left a similar plate for Enrique, e then went back to the lunch boxes.

Shadow jumps, hes he actually jumped from up there, from the Crow's Nest to the deck, once again causing a small amount of damage, in the form of cracks.
"Oi baka captain, you are supposed to care about such a thing !!" while it looks as if he is angry at Shenshe, Shadow's behavior mostly goes to both many Shenshe feel that he's a normal person, just like the others, and that he doesnt have to think of him as a monster. Also, he just felt like teasing Shenshe to make his "captain spirit" kick in.
Shadow then turns to Genshi "Oi, where's my lunch ? .." he notices there's one plate less.

Ohara, nearby
There's something that looks like a .. well, its hard to explain, its like a floating laboratory, a massive one. But thats actually a ship.
There are people inside talking, and some are laughing. A man then walks towards what appears to be a highway of some sort. He wears a lab coat, but the rest of him is shadowed. Apparently he reads the newspaper too, cause he is heard saying this:
"So .. a "D." is on the way here .. perfect .. cause I am gonna now get .. A HUGE HUGE HUGE GENIUS !!!"
just who is that one too ?!

Near the Day Moon Pirates (2-3 kilometers away)
4 pirates are carrying a pretty large mallet. They reach the captain.
"Oi captain, this thing's really heavy, take it off already !"
"Shut up ~! I am smart." he says, and then goes to pick it up from them "You guys are so weak, I mean, which sad faces from that ?! Brilliant me !" once he attempts to pick it up, he stays there for a moment.
"That's so freakin heavy !!!" he yells, and his crewmates look at him with shocked expressions and eyes popping out "And then he blames us !!!" they say.
He manages to pick it up, and throws it "There ya go, a little warm up for my beloved slave !!" the mallet goes some distance, and then, it suddenly turns and changes direction, and starts heading the other way, which, oddly, appears to be where the Day Moon Pirates are.
"If she dies, then she didnt deserve to come back to me, if not, then we are gonna have fun like the old days ~ I am smart !" he says.

"You'll get yours later, this one is for Enrique." He said to Shadow,

He knew where this was going,there going to have another argument soon.

"I'm wondering if you should even get one." he said with a sly smile

Grace looked out and saw the tree, she then exclaimed "We're in Ohara? Seriously?? this place is a big deal you know!!!! Theyve got books and all sorts of stuff here!!!! Should i take the ship in captain and Shadow san, stop being a bloody pest and sit down, JEEZZ!!!! " Grace was excited but then heard Shadow call the captain a baka and she wasnt too sure she had gotten to know Shadow too well.

Pathea's nose and ears twitched in a feline manner yet again. She did not know why, but her animalistic intuition was telling her that something not quite believable was happening here that she was better off avoiding this place. But the Captain had made his stance clear, and heck even Grace-chan had expressed excitement about getting on this island. She couldn't let her own doubts get in the way of that.

Besides, last time she had checked, they were short of supplies.

"Sink the anchor!" the belly dancer shouted as their frigate neared the shore. "Erique, come out!" she yelled across her shoulder, as she began to climb the ropes tying the mast. She wouldn't sink in the water, she knew. It was only waist-deep if she jumped down from here. They had parked at a perfect position.

Pathea leapt, before a splash sounded as she landed in the water, sinking until her feet rested on the seabed. As she had guessed, the water level only came at her knees. She then proceeded to walk the rest of the way towards the shore, waiting for the rest of the crew to follow her. Ohara Island, eh?

No one noticed the mallet coming towards them, which could possibly destroy their ship...

((after everyone gets off the ship, the mallet can hit, destroying it. o.o that way we can get an excuse to need a ship and the Oharans can lend us Queen Anne's Revenge.))

shenshe grabbed a plate of food then walked onto the deck again then pointed a throwing knife at pathea and said "im the captain leave the decisions like that too me next time because last time i checked you arent the captain"shenshe then threw thirty knives at pathea making sure they all missed then jumped off he left the knives because he had more with him. he didnt know where he was as he wandered around so he climbed into a tree hidden the ate the food he had taken then threw the plate into the distance into the sea visable to the crew.

erique left the bottum of the ship and ran through the ship to pathea when she called for him and said "what would you like?" still a bit uneasy around the other crew members. he waited to be told what pathea wanted then he was going to get some food if there was any.

- Im sooo~ hungryyyy~ ... and bored...
She says and sigh's
she picks up her bag and starts looking for her telescope, she finds it and looks around and see's a big broccoli.
But appearantly she's hallucinating from hunger, she oars and begins to row towards the giant broccoli.
- I'm coming giant broccoli!! You sure will taste good!!!
She yell'd while rowing as fast as she could to the Broccoli (Ohara).




((she's abit insane atm since she haven't eat for 3 days..))

shenshe was still hungry after eating one plate of food so he cut down all the lychees off the tree he was on then ate as much as he could then stood on the beach throwing the llychees into the sea, some of it landed onto mizurie's ship accidently which annoyed shenshe because they didnt splash in the sea. he then disapeared back into the forest making sure he was able to be traced he needed to find out where he was then he climbed into a tree then fell asleep near the beach because of how tired he was so he took a nap for a short time.

Mizurie finally landed on the island Ohara, she jumped out and ran towards the tree.
But on the way she notice that she started to run slower and slower for every step she took.
- What th-?!
She manage to say befor she fainted, and she was only had come 500 m from the beach.
All that was in her mind was "FOOOOOOOD!!!!~"
She was dreaming of delicious food and she was drooling while she was sleeping and talk in while sleeping.
- Takiyaki... mm.. Oishii!.... MM!! NIKU!!!!....
She said and kept dreaming...

She was out for 1 hour an 30 minutes befor she woke up.
- eh? hmm.. Seems like i fainted... but... *stomach's growls* ... i must keep going...
She says and grabs her swords and heads towards the tree while she rubbing her stomach.

Genshi heard the commotion.

"Oi, we've docked. Grab a lunchbox and head outside." he said, grabbing most of them. He called out to the others and gave the captain a lunchbox before he jumped off the boat.

He gave Pathea her lunchbox as well as Grace. He noticed the knives around Pathea and thought to himself 'Enemy attack, hurry Genshi, run and hide in the shrubs'. Lucky for him, he doesn't usually listen to the thoughts in his head.

A moment of silence, and then, as probably everyone turned their heads towards the direction of that noise, a large object has just punched a large hole throught their own ship. But thats not all, seems that object still spins and goes directly towards Pathea. The mallet, at least 2 times as large as a human being, now being just a few meters away from Pathea, having reached the party in seconds.
Shadow leaps just in time and gets between Pathea and that mallet, striking it "Kaze Giri !!!" he collides with it *Tsk, what the hell, who threw this ? He must be incredibly .. strong .. !!* he thinks, then .."AAAAAAAAAAARGHH !!!" he yells as he manages to redirect it, and the mallet flies a few feet above Pathea's head and smashes on the sand nearby.

- Must find .... foo~ood!!!
She said, and kept her track towards the tree slowly and tired...
"Need... Food.... Else i ... die..." was the word that kept coming in her mind.
As she wander through the woods, her sight became more darker then befor...
- No... i c-can't die!
She said and loaded a light beam in her palm.
She aimed it towards the sky and shot it as it were a flare gun.
As it flew to the sky and blew up, she hoped that someone would see it and go there...

NEARBY THE ISLAND

After traveling around many places in order to find her husband who granted her with the gift of life, Ori happened to go to Ohara, the island of scholars as her next destination. There, she could probably find some information about him. She remembered that there was a scholar whom her husband knew and so she would try to meet him... And so, after traveling for a long time, she was about to reach Ohara. But little did she know that instead of finding the scholar, she would have another encounter...

"Scholars? Are you sating this is a school island?" he said

Genshi hated schools, not mainly schools, but the arrogant scholars who knew more than him, and constantly taunted with with their knowledge. Granted he wasn't the smartest student, he worked hard enough. Why was he thinking of school? He was a pirate now. He was about to say something when he noticed a flare in the sky. A chance to get away from mister scholar, he would take it.

"I'll go investigate that signal." he said.

He ran deep into the woods, looking for the source of the shot. He looked for a while until he found a girl with what seemed like a flare gun. It took him a moment, but he figured out that she shot it. He noticed she was tired, maybe she was hungry. He opened his lunch box and ran up to her.

"Oi oi, are you okay? If you're hungry, have some food." he said, placing the food in front of her, hoping she was strong enough to eat.

- T-thank... you S-so mutch!
She said and cried, she picked up the food and began to eat with her hands, she didn't have any maners since she hadn't eat for 3 days so she just ate it.
The tear's just kept coming, she had never tasted such good food in her life, She ate it slow and enjoyed every single bite.

After a few minutes she was finished, she puted the blade next to her and bowed down and thank'd the stranger.
- Thank you for the food, you really saved my life! but i wonder.. who are you sir?
She said, and stared at the stranger and smiled at him.
