Appearance: Mustang is, in sheer size, comparable to a kodiak bear; he is incredibly tall (9' 9") and impressively muscular. His head is over-sized and there is a pale grey steel plate at the top of his head. an incision line stretches from the back of his ear over his skull to the other ear. This marking is covered by his flatcap. He is technically bald. Mustang has a five o' clock shadow and a strong, square chin. His eyes are round and coffee brown. His triangular eyebrows are dark brown. His right eyebrow has been half-way burnt off (the right half). He has several small scars across his lower lip. On first look it is impossible to tell Jones is a cyborg as his mechanical parts are all well concealed, however, without his jacket or shoes it is blatantly obvious he is semi-robotic. He wears a cheap, tattered, dark grey leather jacket over a white athletic tank top. He takes the jacket in combat. He wears a pair of large light blue jeans, but because of his size the pants do not reach past his knees. His shoes are low-quality sandals. His dress-style is lacking suffistication and elegance. He gives off a brutish aura and smells of motor oil. His teeth are stained bright white.

History: Mustang Jones life was dull until his conscription into the marines at age seventeen. As a soldier, his individuality was kept at a minimum. He was known as recruit Jones. Jones remembered his birth name for several years in his service, but his life changed drastically after enrollment into a development program. He was chosen for experimentation because of how average he was. The first stage of experimentation was a six-week steroid testing phase. Jones's pituitary gland was thoroughly stimulated and began producing human growth hormone at ridiculous levels. Mustang was near death for several months; his body could not take the sudden change in size. Over the course of six weeks Mustang's entire body had grown larger. A side effect of the drugs was a loss in brain cells- Mustang found himself not able to think nearly as deeply as he had before the program had started. The young man had no idea that his brain would be damaged far less than his idea would be.

After the success of the steroid experiment, Mustang Jones was sent to another facility. Fortunately for Jones the experimentation stage had already progressed to the point of non-lethality. Unlike the other test subjects Jones survived having his digestive system replaced with an engine. As an honor to the first cyborg created by the program the scientists named the engine the Jones Engine. The Jones Engine had a major problem; it heated up far too quickly for mass production. It was decided that Jones was a special case, a super soldier in training. Mustang's capabilities were tested immediately after doctors determined the surgery he had undergone did not horribly wound him. Results were satisfactory but it was clear the Jones Engine overheated before exerting its maximum force. Yet again Mustang Jones would be cut open and have a strange system stuffed into him. The system released a cooling fluid into the Jones Engine when it was exerting the force, transferring thermal energy from the machine into the liquid. Mustang nearly died from a lack of foresight about this device. The scientists had forgotten to create heat vents on Jones's body, and so he was suffering from incredibly high body temperature. Mustang grew tired of procedures and the illnesses that followed but he would have to go under one more time. The heat vents added to Jones's body were placed at specific locations to increase his combat applications.

For field-testing, Jones was sent to skirmish with a low priority threat- bandits. These rebellious raiders were not dangerous to a cybernetic warrior but Jones was still worried. He had not seen action in a long time, and even in his four years as a recruit, not counting medical crises, he had never been in a life or death situation. When the band of barbaric brigands combated Jones he killed them all. Mustang did not know how to control his strength; he had no intention of murdering each and every one of the criminals. The battle came with a consequence, Jones suffered a major head injury and a doctor had to place a steel plate in Mustang's skull. Jones was traumatized by this accident. Upon return to the research facility the scientists noticed a change in behavior and attitude. At first, Jones was given a special hat to cheer him up but his mood did not improve. The scientists examined him and made a decision.

The scientists had planned to remove Jones's brain. Mustang was lacking several mental qualities the marines desired in a secret weapon. He was not devoted to the brand of justice the marines valued and he was too unintelligent. The brain replacement procedure was a secret project, it was common knowledge willingfully murdering a marine was not a way to get on your superior's good side. Jones recognized the danger of the procedure during pre-surgery. Mustang had an epiphany after the vivisection lines were drawn. He realised nothing good would come of having his skull opened. Jones broke free of their constraints and searched for his hat. After a short hunt for the cap he named Shazaam, Mustang fled to the storage room. As several footsoldiers rushed to restrain Jones. Jones shoved his pursuers away while filling the hat with as many bottles of water and oil as he could. The urgency increased as the minions armed themselves. After grabbing several containers Mustang broke down a wall and commandeered a row-boat. Escaping the island was easy as soon as Jones had reached the docks, the marines were far behind him and a row boat would be hard to find in the open sea. As he drifted along in the ocean, Jones thought about himself. He did not remember his first name. The only clue he had was the name Jones, embroidered on Shazaam.

Personality: Mustang lacks the intelligence required for higher leadership positions. He is very conscious of his stupidity and easily offended by anyone insinuating he is incompetent because he is not smart. His less than desirable intelligence does not ruin his performance; however, he is prone to one-dimensional thinking. His problem solving is often simplistic but direct (example: if a town is being terrorized by bandits Mustang would simply kill the bandits). Plans commonly go above his head. Mustang is not a trusting person; however, he is rarely hostile to anyone other than his enemies. He is no liar, but he has a tendency of hiding the truth. Jones is a firm believer in a need-to-know system of information. If he thinks someone does not need to know a specific tidbit he will not tell them it. On the flipside, Jones will not conceal secrets if he views them as important knowledge to pass on. He is terrible at lying; his tone and gestures give several hints he is not telling the truth (his voice goes higher, his eyebrows raise and his teeth chatter). Mustang is enraged when he learns he has been deceived. He has control over his actions when in an emotional state, but he is far more aggressive when threatened. Mustang is not threatened by shows of force; the only time he feels threatened is when he or his allies are in great danger. He is normally not aggressive but (to use a metaphor) when it rains, it pours. Mustang is very private about his past and tries the best he can to conceal his mechanical parts. His greatest fear is he will be experimented on by other scientists or returned to a marine science facility. He does not like doctors and hates being in public without his clothes.

Learned Techniques (Keep it 1-25): Punch 2.0- Steam vents out from one of his shoulders, propelling his fists at higher speeds than his average strike. This doubles the damage of his punch. Any enemy standing 7 metres or less behind him is hit by a flesh-meltingly hot, bone-fracturing blast of steam.

Blast- salt-water vapor vents out from his hands or feet at high speeds. The effective range of this attack is 7 metres. Enemies hit by this attack are not able to easily shrug it off; third degree burns and internal bleeding awaits the victim.

Rush- steam blasts out from both of his shoulders propelling him forward a great distance. This technique is used to push Mustang up to his top speeds. If Jones slams into an enemy during Rush they are bulldozed backwards several metres.

Jump 2.0- Steam comes from the bottom of both of Mustang's feet at the peak of a jump. The added force allows Mustang a "second jump" of sorts. This move can also be used as an attack that targets the top of an opponent.

Weapons/Items: STOPS, Jones Engine, Shazaam the magic hat, gallons of bottled salt water and crude oil held inside Shazaam.
