Serious, War Thread: The Grand Atlantis War ((Open to all participants, three way struggle between Pirates, Atlantians and Marines))

T.H.

T.H. sighed as he looked at the people who were about to attack him. The mission seemed to be going perfectly so far and it looked like he would steal the ship. However, there was another crew on the ship and so his mission was in danger. T.H. had not choice except from battling the enemies that he happened to confront. He said "Knock me overboard? Excuse me sir, but I will decline your offer..." as he smiled under his mask. Then, the thief grabbed a rose and waited for the enemies to make their moves...

James

James turned to face Simo. His burning gaze locked onto Simo’s eyes and he didn’t seem to even notice the oncoming air blades.

“Second Step…” James intoned. “…Golden Spring.”

James raised his blades until they were spread out at his sides, pointing away from his body in opposite directions. James suddenly sprang upwards to meet the oncoming air blades. As he did, the wind around him seemed to pick up slightly. Then James spun in midair, cutting through the air blades and dissipating them both. He landed once more and pointed Kazeshini at Simo’s chest from where he stood.

“I see now,” James said. “Your element is wind, just like mine. But how good are you, truly? Is your wind as powerful as mine? If not, then it would be foolish to try and outmatch me in that way.”

No, I don’t have any questions about that. Not at the moment, at least.

Yeah, I’ve actually got the next thread planned out and the very basic premise of the one after that.

Gavin

Gavin sighed. "I really don't want to do this," he groaned. "Fine. BUT YOU OWE ME ONE KANHOJI!" Gavin whipped his guitar off of his back and ran his fingers across the strings. "120 decibels!" Gavin took the sound from his guitar and changed it into a single, piercing note which he aimed at T.H.'s right ear.

James

James turned to face Simo. His burning gaze locked onto Simo’s eyes and he didn’t seem to even notice the oncoming air blades.

Gavin

Kanhoji sneezed loudly, sniffling as he rubbed his nose.
"Eh...? Am I getting a cold?...... or is someone talking about me?" Kanhoij sneezed once again, taking the book away from his vision so not to splatter any boogers on it.
"But not many people know me, who would talk about me?"
Shrugging it off as he saw something sticking out from another book, he discarded the one in his hand and began to take the note, only frowning as he saw it was only another library card.
Seeing that he do care about his sisters live, including Gavin's of course (not that he'll actually admit it for some reason or another), he decided to go investigate the weird symbols on the buttons.
Apparently, just in case the worker for the water controls were gone for a reason, they made sure to gives clues to what the symbol said just in case the replacement was to take care of the controls too. Which are these books that were inside the control room.
Hm... he wondered... is everyone ok? But the thought quickly passes as he found another book that might lead to the secret of the buttons.

Amari looks to the rose in confusion and hesitates as Gavin already made a move. She hangs back, just in case there was some kind of trap.

Vs James

Simo said, "My element is not just wind. It is an order of magnitude greater. Let me give you an example. Banshee's Wail!" At the word wail, Simo let forth a huge soundwave heading right for James.

James

James had no time to collect himself before he was struck by the sound. He let out an involuntary gasp of pain, stumbling backwards and reached up to press his hands against his ears, which were no ringing from the beating they had just received. His hands could not completely cover his ears, however, because he was holding his swords, but oddly enough, it was the cold metal of the hilts that forced him back to reality.

Think, James ordered himself. Okay, he can use sound. That could slow me big time. Unless I had some way of blocking it…maybe wind? After all, sound is simply vibrations. But…no, even if that worked I have no idea how I could use it or plan for his attacks. I’ll just have to keep him off balance and make it so he can’t use that attack again!

James kicked off of the ground, using soru to dash around Simo to stand behind him. “Ittoryu: Thunder Crashes!” James began thrusting at Simo’s back with Kazeshini, unleashing a barrage of air blasts. “Ittoryu: Bolt!” James shot forward at high speed again, this time moving in a zig-zag pattern. He held Crimson Rain out in front of him, intending to impale Simo upon the blade.

Vs James

When Simo saw James disappear he knew something was about to happen. He immediately began a kami-e, and luckily he did for he managed to dodge the air blasts. However he was not fast enough to completely dodge the second attack. The left side of his lower abdomen was impaled on James' sword. "What the..." Simo generated a large shockwave from every part of his body to drive James away and hopefully remove the sword.

[OOC: James, is Gavin's attack an area attack (cause its sound) or is it beam-like?]

((@Maxulus: It is sound, but its not an area attack or a beam. Instead, if it has to be described, it would be best described as a fireball. It is simply a single note targeting T.H.'s ear. It would be an area thing, but Gavin is keeping the sound vibrations from going anywhere else except for T.H.'s ear.
@Everybody: Actually, I have question about what Simo is doing. He avoided the wind blasts, but then he got hit by Crimson Rain. Now Simo is using a shockwave, which is apparently being activated by his devil fruit power. Crimson Rain has seastone in its blade. Would it even be possible to use a devil fruit power while you've got seastone inside of you? I'm just making sure. The outcome of what James does next depends on the actual effect.))

Ryan Intercepting Todd (Shadow if you have plans for him let me know and I'll back off)
As Ryan begin to walk and search for Anubis he felt a presents he didn't feel in a long time this presents made his whole right side shiver.Ryan jumped in the air across dozens of fights and landed in front of Todd creating a cloud of dust when he landed " It's been a long time hasn't it Todd" Ryan turns around with a small grin on his face " Two years ago you took my friend and my arm from me now I guess now the time you pay you back" Ryan unsheathe his sword and stairs at Todd..

Nick
Nick walked around the island when he heard some large explosions in his area,, he walked towards the area and peeped from behind a building " So that's one of the three Admirals I wonder what kind of name and bounty the government would give me if I kill him Twin Dragon Strike" Nick creates two large dragons out of lightning and launched them towards the Admiral and then he hid back behind the building..

(OOC) Oh, I am sorry I didn't understand that Crimson Rain had seastone in it. I think I would still be able to get the shockwave off but it would be weakened severely. If that's not the case I will edit my post so that I just try and push James away because while I would be weakened I would not be totally incapacitated.

James

((How would Simo get hit by a regular sword, but be able to dodge a seastone one? That doesn’t make sense. So how about this…))

James smirked when his sword struck the man, not in the chest, but still in a critical area. That had to hurt. The next thing James knew, he was being flung backwards by a shockwave of air. He tumbled away, pulling Crimson Rain out of his opponent and dragging it with him as he went. James quickly jumped back to his feet, now battered and bruised. Still, he had to be in much better condition than the other guy. Two cuts across his chest and a stab wound? It was a wonder the man was still standing at all.

Even I would be woozy after all of that, James thought to himself. “You’re good,” he said. “But if you keep going, I can’t promise that you’ll live.” James looked away from Simo, looking over the other fighters. “The real battle is about to start. There are a lot of powerful people here. Heh…they’re even making me excited.” A wicked grin spread across James’s face. “I can’t wait!”

Atlantis

Atlantis had previously been on red alert. Thousands of red lights had been flashing, warning people to get off of the streets. Many of those lights were now broken, however the ones that remained all abruptly changed to a bright green.

Jim Yates’s voice crackled over the intercom saying, “INITIATE EVACUATION PROTOCOL. CODE: ZT9D2EP4A.”

All over Atlantis, the Atlanteans turned from their battles and ran off, disappearing almost into thin air. Some remained, but they were the minority by far.

Back in Atlantis’s main control room, Jim shut down the intercom and sighed wearily.

“I only hope we moved fast enough,” he murmured.

Fred reached out and placed a hand on his friend’s shoulder. “Come on. Let’s get down below as well. We may as well go out with a bang.” He grinned. “They have no idea what they’ve gotten themselves into.”

Vs James

It took all Simo had to remain standing. He was not going to show any weakness to his opponent. He thought to himself, "This is Bad. This guy is really fast and I can't keep him at a distance." At that point Simo began to wobble. He took a step forward to keep his balance and clutched his side. "That sword had seastone didn't it? Well it looks like you win this round." Simo then collapsed on the floor. He wasn't all the way out yet but it was going to take some time to regain enough energy to fight.

I just thought a time skip would make it more dramatic it doesn't have to be one

James

James turned away from Simo. He had no intention of killing the man. It wasn’t like the guy had beaten up James’s sister or anything. James’s hands clenched and unclenched as he recalled the last time someone had beaten up his sister. By now the fish would have picked his bones clean.

James turned back to the battle, keeping his swords out in case another Marine, or pirate for that matter, got a little over ambitious. At that moment, James was swarmed by a large group of Marines, all of whom were trying to slash, hack, or smash him into oblivion with an assortment of weaponary.

“How dare you harm the Lieutenant!” one of them shouted.

James kicked the man in the face, sending him flying into the Marines behind him. James didn’t look angry about the fact that he was being assualted, if anything he appeared thoughtful.

“Ooooh…so that was his rank!” James said, a smile spreading across his face. He began to fight at high speed, sending several more Marines spinning away. “White, white, and more white. It’s always the same thing. I really need to find out how you guys tell each other apart.”

[[Nishki vs Wallys crew]]

Nishki was sliced by Suigo and flew back, he felt the attack by Sabres hit him along with a few more shots hitting him square on his body, but missing vital organs. Nishki coughed out blood and stepped back, he felt truly weakened now and got down to one knee in fatigue. His cap falls from his head as Nishki breathes heavily "You damn criminals..... huff... hufff...... why turn now Wally?...*coughs blood*" Nishki was watching several battles taking place, he was facing Wally now.

[[Iken vs Hercules vs Gael]]
Hercules didnt move as the air blades simply hit his chest sending him sliding back without wavering. There was no obvious damage , Hercules then scanned his systems "Damage taken... 15%.... energy absorption 10% , possibility of return attack, 44%........" Hercules lunged foward launching two missiles from his legs and slid across the floor to land besides Gael and Ranyx.

"Dual Blade Cannon"

Iken swung his two katanas launching two blades of air that were aimed to intercept the two missiles. "I'm not going to let you hurt them. Your fight it with me tin man." said Iken as he pointed at Hercules with his Rejection Slayer. Iken charged forward aiming a three slash attach at Hercules. The first two were his two Katanas aimed for Hercules' right arm and shoulder. The final attack was from Iken's large European style long sword. Iken swung the sword to the left in anticipation of him trying to dodge to the left, aiming of his foes head.

Jason & ??? vs Jiper
"Here it comes ! Armor plume !" Jason spins rapidly, and the ground around him starts spinning along with him, just after that Jiper's attack slams the ground creation and causes an explosion. After some moments, Jason appears out of it and holds his right shoulder. "Damn, even with that and you punched a hole dammit ! Hahahaha ... I am afraid I cant continue this fair and square, you are stronger than me Admiral, however ..."
A creature dashes right behind Jiper, and once near, it fires off a stream of flames towards him.

Todd vs Ryan
Despite the desperate situation, seeing Nishki been severely wounded, he grins and glares down at Ryan "Aaah, one of the 2 mice that came for revenge and left crippled ..." he then turns to Bushon "Oi Old-man, go ahead, I will get there sortly !" he cracks his hands "Let's see what you got this time ..." he calmly comments, preparing to face off with Ryan once more, while Bushon and the rest of the marines continue to make a path towards Nishki.

Wally and Nishki
"Alright boys and girls, you all know what to do !!" As Wally says that, the crew, most of the at least, jump off the ship and they all land creating a circular perimeter, blocking anyone from passing inside the spot.
Wally jumps too. He walks a bit, first looking at Maximilion. "Partner, good to see you here .. please enjoy the show, as well as cause as much carnage as you like, Weee-hahahaha !!" he then turns to Nishki and grins evily.
"You see, Nishki-boy ... while this situation here really cancelled out my initial plans, I do have to admit that this is still fine with me ! The perfect opportunity to topple you guys off ! ..." he then cracks his right arm. "...I know very well, that you, a proud marine, you would never ever want to join forces with me, so I never asked you that ... its a shame thought, you and me as a team would be unstoppable ... but no matter, I will have to finish you off now."
This crewmates forming the circle are watching. "It's the new attack he was trying .. isnt it ? .. Gravija Punch ..." Hawks calmly says, then slices down several marines coming closeby with Sasori "This is a No-entry zone, my apologies .." he adds.
Wally moves his hand as if to punch someone, darkness forms around his hand. "THIS .. IS .. THE .. END FOR YOU !!!" Wally shoots.

((Max: I will add 2 more chars to fight him, I believe then it should be even lol
Ryan: A 2 years timeskip is impossible cause there are others in the roleplay too, you know ? :/
Everyone: please do not say you attack Wally, there is a specific battle planned for this war, after it you can all do w/e you want. Thank you. ))

Archon Jon, Captain of the Sons of the King
Having sneaked across the field, Archon finally reached the vessel, enveloped in combat. "The ship." He noted. "There are many sides. Let us attack, but stall until my blade gathers the storms to us." Archon knew they probably weren't the strongest ones there, but if they could survive long enough to craft weather, they might have a chance. "The dome should be big enough to have its own weather. If so, I can craft a storm." He glanced around, drawing his weapon. "But it's going to require a few minutes, because weather here should be rare, and I don't know if it'll even work. But we don't have that kind of time." He brought his sword in front of him. "Charge."

THE SONS OF THE KING HAVE ENTERED THE SHIP.

Archon broke cover, running for the ship, brandishing the Stormcaller. He leaped on the deck, slashing in a wide arc. "Waves of the Wind." He sent a large air blade parallel to the deck, intent on disrupting the flow of the battle and granting the Sons of the King more foothold.

Ran Miryan, Marine Admiral
This is taking far too long. This guy seems to bounce back from everything. Maybe I should just break off. She decided to attempt one last attack. Her blood weapons dissipated and she turned pale, red mists leaving her to become a construct in her shape. The construct coalesced behind Gyupaa as Ran stepped back and parried the talons wrist to wrist with her hands. Then, she moved for a palm strike to the chest as the construct's arms shaped into two blades, trying to stab through Gyupaa's shoulder blades.

Running to the dome which was now in his sites Kenji pulled out the Den Den Mushi given to him by the Admiral. He held it in his left hand while running preparing to call the Admiral for further instructions once he was close enough to enact out the orders swiftly. He has for a couple more minutes until he was within five minutes of the dome. He then began to call Admiral Jiper to get further instructions on how to open the giant dome.

Kanhoji groan as he heard the alarm, looking up at the blinking lights of red then green. In truth, he doesn't really, exactly know what it means, but he kinda assumed that it's better if they leave really soon.
"You got to be kidding me!!!"

Looking through the instruction sheet he put up for the last time, he set it aside along with the other messes in the room and look at the ship.
Crabby already finished coating it, but it seemed that he disappear nonetheless.
Whether they got T.H off the ship, doesn't really concern the blue haired teen anymore. Getting the ship out is his concern right now, and the others also.
Crabby will be fine, Kanhoji knows it.

"Ok. Opening entrance gate, water levels rising..."
Water came entering in from the entrance gate at a fast pace along with some other small openings that is filling the area.
Broking the lever so that no one would interferre with what they were doing, Kanhoji quickly ran out, almost diving into the water as he remembered that he can't swim.

Well, either he found a way to get to the ship or drown....... but if he try to swim to the ship, he'll drown too. Hearing the alarm in the background, he temporary forgotten himself and tried to first get everyone else out of here.
"Amari!!! Get the ship to dive and navigate it through here!!!" He pointed to the exit of which he open up. Seeing that the water is coming close to where he's at, he tried to climb a little more upper, using his scythes to help.
"Amari! Go, go!"
Feeling the temporary coldness of the water as it accidently splashes upon his back, made him climb higher.
He blinked.
Oh yeah, he forgotten the situation he was in. He wondered if he could get his sister to save him for a minute... then again, he really doesn't want to owe her anything for some reason or another.
