Voyage 2 - (Bare Fist Pirates) (Open to all Rookie Pirates and Low Ranking Marines)

Dorian had been sailing the sea's for about 3 days since his current recruitment of a new crew member, Kochiro. Dorian had high hopes for this man. His aura was strong and very unique..unlike most humans. Dorian knew he was building a strong crew, but he felt the need to take it a step further. With there food supplies running low, He began to sail east, were he was 100% sure that the Island of Linto was located. It was an Island he visited while training with his trainer Leon Lexus. It was said to be the last spot to find Rookie Pirates in this Sea. So he wanted to grab one more crew mate before he did so.

"Guys! Were heading in for Land! prepare to cast anchor in 20 minutes! Wake up and look alive! This Island is crawling with Rookies who are bloody thirsty and are willing to do anything to get there bounty up before they hit the new Sea!"

Van was doing handstand pushups, he new that if he wanted to live long, he'd have to become stronger.

"I have 20 more minutes." he thought to himself, doing more pushups, faster than before." He thought

Jacob looked out to the sea wishing that an adventure would come his way. Since his crew had all been annihilated by the World Governments burst call he had been very lonely. He had stayed one year at the house of a local village girl after she had save him after he washed upon the beach. After a few moments of remembrance Jacob shook his head clearing his mind of everything but the task at hand. Jacob walked through the docks looking for a fully stocked ship that he could use to set out. He walked a good distance without have much success.

A large fishing vessel with that had just come into dock with a full load of fish on board caught his eye. It seemed to have been temporally left unattended while it's captain set out to find the market that would pay him the highest price. Jacob walked on board without any resistance only to find a man sleeping in a corner of the ship. The sleeping man must have been put in charge of guarding the ship while the captain went out to find a buyer for his product. Jacob couldn't help but chuckle at the man all curled up.

Yelling from behind him startled Jacob and woke up the man sleeping only feet away from him. The captain of the ship had come back and now was screaming at his crew member to attack. The man jumped up to his feet and faced Jacob getting into a fighting stance. A wide grin spread on Jacob's face as the man challenged him to a fight.

The man struck with a quick right jab that grazed Jacob's right cheek. Jacob countered by grabbing the mans arm with his left and slamming his right fist down on the mans arm breaking it at the elbow. The man screamed in pain as his appendage was snapped by Jacob's mighty blow. Jacob finished with a round house kick the sent the man flying off the ship into his boss knocking both to the ground.

"Sorry about this but I need this ship more than you do." Jacob yelled trying to explain.

With a slash of his mighty sword Jacob cut the rope trying the boat to the dock. He then walked over pulling up the anchor and raising the sail. Jacob sailed along the coast looking for a good place to anchor the ship so he could go and look for a crew. He didn't necessarily want to be captain, he just wanted nakama to be with.

As Dorian slowed his ship down near dock and pulled it up slowly to the shore. He then used his Gomu Gomu no Mi powers to stretch his arm over to the 200 pound anchor. He then grabbed hold of the anchor with one hand and threw it over board, sending it falling deep into the deep blue. Dorian then retaliated his arm and detached his steering wheel. As he did so, He jumped over the balcony that the steering wheel was and flew through the air. As he let gravity take its course. He landed on the Sandy beach.

"come on! We've got to hurry before the tides get to crowed!"

Van got to his feet, they had gotten to land again, and he needed to stretch That and Dorian ate most of the supplies. He sighed (he does that a lot) but he needed it to be done.

"I'll get some more supplies." he said, walking off,"Unless you wanna do it?" he asked Dorian

Kochiro awoke as the anchor landed on the beach with a thud, he was slightly startled, but then smirked, "These guys really need to get a better alarm..." he jumped off the bed where he took his cards tightened his headband, cleaned himself off and headed off the boat. "I wonder where we are?"

Jacob sailed along the coats in the fishing boat that he had just stole. He lowered the anchor as he approached his camp only a few clicks from the town. It was a shady off the path area where the ship could be safe. The fish that the boat had hauled in were all either refrigerated or salted and dried. With that Jacob set off on foot towards the town to look for a small crew, maybe two or three people.

Once Jacob returned to town he walked to the docks once again this time to look for a crew. Jacob watched as boats came and gone not really impressed by the people from the ships.

"Sigh....I need to find a few people before I can set out." Jacob mumbled to himself.

Dorian dashed through the beach looking for a road like path. If he found that, he'd find his way to the town. Dorian looked around amazed at how this beautiful Island was still in tack after so long. He grinned and continued running. After a few minutes, he stopped in front of a dock on the other side of the Island completely. He saw the path he was looking for, but it was blocked off by 6 men. Dorian got a bit closer to the men and observed them. They looked weak, they were dirty and rugged. They were obviously pirates.

"Can you move? I need to get into town.."

The tallest of the 6 of men looked down at Dorian and smirked, showing his bright yellow teeth.

Jacob frowned as all of the people that got off of boats at the town dock all seemed weak and average. He turned around to and looked toward the center of town and then towards the towns outskirts.

"Maybe I should go out side of town towards the bandit controlled roars." Jacob mumbled.

With a yawn Jacob made his way towards the roads he had heard were controlled by bandits and thieves. Jacob walked out of the town on a dust old road. The part of town he had just left looked like it was falling down and wouldn't be fit to live in. As Jacob continued to walk along the small path from town he came upon a group blocking the road. It seemed like a group of pirates or bandits had cornered some little kid. Jacob stopped to watch what would happen and to make sure they didn't kill the kid.

Dorian looked up at the 10 foot tall pirate and glared at him. The pirate didn't move. He underestimated Dorian due to his physic and height. The pirate then bent over and put his long nose in Dorian's face. He then gave off a cocky like grin on his face.

"It cost 1,000 berrie to cross this gate here....unless you've got the money..then scram.."

Dorian then narrowed his eyes.

"I suggest you move before you get servilely injured.."

The Pirate cocked his head back and laughed deeply. He then sneakily grabbed onto his hidden dagger and attempted to stab Dorian in his throat. Dorian then grabbed the pirates wrist that was holding the knife and squeezed tightly. He then delivered a right hook, directly to the pirates jaw. Sending the pirate flying towards the sea. The pirate then began skipping on the water like a pebble. He continued to get further..and further....and further away..until he was out of sight. The rest of his crew looked at their Captain skip away. They then quickly grabbed there belongings and took off running. Dorian then watched them to make sure the continued running.

"...Hmpf...Ammatures.."

Van watched the pirate skip across the sea.

"wow, beat my record by a mile." he said

He knew he aught to have warned them, but Dorian could do as he pleased, so long as Van wasn't affected. Van was tired after all that exercise, he laid down on the beach.

"Call me if something happens." he said, looking at the clouds pass.

The young swordsman watched the group as the tension grew, a gentle breeze blew stirring the dust of the trail. Jacob clutched the hilt of his sword as the large pirate advanced upon the kid. When hearing first the pirates offer and then the kid response Jacob knew someone was going to get hurt. However for some strange reason he felt he should sit back and watch. Jacob had a good feeling about the kid standing on that dusty trail leading to town.

When the man pulled a small hidden dagger Jacob couldn't but help draw Ikenminormaru. Jacob jumped the gun however, the young man sent the large pirate skipping across the ocean. Seeing the rest of the crew grab their things and run made Jacob openly laugh.

"I'm going to watch this kid to see what he does." Jacob mumbled to himself.

Jacob sheathed his sword and walked toward and past Dorian trying not to look suspicious.

Kichiro walked up to Van, scraping his boots in the sand. taking a quick glance at the water where the large pirate was previously skipping over, "'I'm starting to think that wherever the captain goes, trouble will follow. But I guess the captian can handle himself." He turned looking at the near empty beach, besides Van, himself, and the ships of other pirates, he quickly smirked, aiming his right hand at one of the spare planks of wood that washed ashore near them. Kichiro said "Kado Kado Shooter!" and a playing card shot out in the direction of the board, and once the card came in contact with the board, the board was flying in the air after the card hit it, since this Kado Kado no Mi creates cards with small bursts of energy when the hit something (only during the Shooter ability and the Kaboomer ability). Kichiro looked up, shielding his eyes from the sun, and smirked "New record..." but as the wooden plank fell downwards, he realized that it was coming down on top off him, with enough force to be a cannonball. "Kado Kado Kaboomer!" Kichiro said as he shot out a slow moving card, and as that card collided with the plank, it exploded by the energy from the card with a loud boom, turning the plank into piles of ash and bits of wood in a 6 foot radius, gently hitting Van, but since the balst was close to the ground and closer to Kichiro than Van was, Kichiro had his face nearly covered with ash, waiting for Van to see if he noticed what happened Kichiro said "And that's why I don't practice on things that could explode...". He blinked a little rubbing his face to clean off the ashes.

Van was trying to relax, he tried his best to ignore what kichiro just did. But he was right, wherever Dorian went, trouble followed. It could be possible that something was about to happen to them. He stood up, walking towards Dorian.

"You know, a good strategy for pirates is to remain hidden, so that were not discovered"

Kichiro chuckled, "Funny thing about strategies: The sometimes go another way, then it's time for another..." Kichiro got the last of the ashes off his face, "Besides, it makes a great signal flare when you think about it...in case we get lost..." he then walked in the direction Van was heading, "I guess we're going to follow a trail?" he said to Van

"I guess so, the captain usually makes the decisions, but I guess its my call." he said, walking down the road, making sure there was no one around.

He couldn't shake the feeling they were being watched.

Dorian stopped and turned around to see his crew mates following behind him. He cracked his right knuckles and grinned as he over heard what his first mate had said.

"Plus...This Island is entirely run by Pirates..I was thinking about taking over..but were going to be traveling to much...but since these bozo's were acting out..I guess I'll have to set things straight before we leave...lets go..were heading to the root of the Island"

With that, he turned around and made his way down the path as he headed into town.

When Jacob was far enough away to avoid detection he turned his head to notice two others following Dorian. Jacob figured they must have been the kids crew and where trying to keep him out of trouble. Using bushes and trees to hide behind Jacob followed watching the pirates every move.

(I wonder what they're up to? Maybe...just maybe they are what this island needs right now.) Jacob thought to himself getting a good feeling from the group.

Kichiro dragged his boots along the road sighing, "Is there gonna be any good food in this town?" chuckling a bit as he remembered that Dorian nearly inhaled the Oak Tavern's stock not too long ago. He tightened his headband as he walked along with his two other crewmates

"Heh, if there is any good food, we'll just get you to win some for us." said Van, remembering Kichiros skills.

Van took off his hat and used it to dust himself off. He still felt like the crew was being followed.

"You all get what ever you want...if there is anything..Like I said before..this is the Rookie Pirate Island..were all Rookies start off before they actually head out into the other seas..."


"This Island is as dirty as my fire fox history..(OMIT ROTFL THAT LINE).."

Kichiro smirked, "Well then, we might need to get another crew member if we want to beat the rest to be the best" he chuckled, but then heard a rustling noise behind him "Guys....did you here that?" Kichiro said cautiously

Fearing being followed, Van pulled out a gun and aimed at the shrub. He signaled Kichiro to prepare a card, if something was back there, it was gonna get both barrels.

"..You may as well come out...but you two should have to worry..."

With his hands in his pockets, Dorian continued down the road

"Sigh...Dang it..." Jacob said standing up looking at a rabbit next to him. A swift kick sent the small flying through the air taking out a Hawk flying above. "Sooooo, how's it going?" Jacob said looking back and fourth from Van to Kichiro to Dorian. Lifting his right leg up and over the bush he stepped forward following Dorian.
