Serious, War Thread: The Grand Atlantis War ((Open to all participants, three way struggle between Pirates, Atlantians and Marines))

((EDIT: rejoining to beat the living crud out of Wally and get the living crud beaten out of her by Wally after Nishki gets the living crud beaten out of him by Wally as well))

The fight was on! Sheer chaos erupted as explosions and energy blasts pounded the battlefield every second. The rumbling of footsteps and of bodies hitting the ground deafened the ears of any who would listen to the chaos. Some Atlanteans lunged at Rei as fast as they could. To their surprise, they caught only air. Rei was nowhere to be found...

"HEEL OF PLEASURE!"

An explosion rocked the battlefield as Vice Admiral Noyamano D. Rei's bare ankle crashed in the middle of the group of Atlanteans, her super-human strength empowered bare ankle crashing into the rock and shooting up a mushroom cloud of smoke and debris that blew them all away, shaking the ground they were standing again.

Rei slammed her fist into her palm as she retracted her leg, back-flipped and landed on her own two feet. “... Bad fish,” she grinned.

//CRRRRK~~!!//

Suddenly a spark of electricity caught the Goro Goro no Mi user's attention. “Nishki...” turning around, she tried to detect him. Thanks to her Goro Goro no Mi powers, Rei had a sort of a 'radar sense' that allowed her to detect electronic changes in the air currents. She had specifically marked Nishki with it, and his signal just went weak. and now she knew something was wrong.

“That guy can do nothing without me, can he?!” she muttered to herself under her breath, recalling their times training together. She missed breaking his bones and then taking him to the healing center to get them bandaged... oh well.

Homing on his signal, The purple-haired wrestler quickly sprinted towards her childhood friend. Maybe more.

Gang up against Nishki
Suigo moves his katana, but without taking it off the sheath, and blocks the attack. "Hmmm .. so strong even now .. right ? However ..." he is sent backwards by the force, but apparently, thats what he wanted to. Cause then it happened ..
"Hell's Claw ... !!!" The other person just dashed at speed almost comparable to Suigo's and appears to be about to slice Nishki throught his ribs. At the same time, Sabres is above, after having jumped, and fires Nishki using a large rifle-like weapon, aiming the man's right shoulder from above. "You are going down Marine !!! Hahahahaha !!!" Gondar, Raiman and Marrow have too stepped on the edge of the ship and have too, fired towards Nishki using flintlocks and rifles. An all out attack, to ensure that he will almost certainly get hit by a good deal of attacks.
A marine yells "No way ..It's "Flame Tongue" Cebros, Nishki-sama, evade that blow .. !!!" he sounds desperate.

Jason
"Its not me that underestimates you, but you are .. hehehe !" Jason lifts his hand and the dust goes above and blocks Simo's attack.

Archon Jon, Captain of the Sons of the King
"Alright crew. We're not here for a fight. We're here for the Oro Jackson." Archon spoke, turning to observe the fray, just in time to see a marine breaking off to attack him. "Except if it comes to us." He drew his sword as the marine struck, blocking it before simply brute forcing his way through the marine's block, driving his sword into the marine's chest. "That's not what we want to happen. We want the ship, then we leave. There are greater pirates than us here, so we won't be fighting our way to it. Let us navigate the outskirts." Archon took a move-on, looking back at his crewmembers to make sure they were following. "We need a clue of some sort."

James

So annoying, James muttered. All these idiots…they’re trying to steal my target away from me. He cocked his head to one side and looked thoughtful. Though, this could work in my favor. Instead of dueling him one on one and having to go all out…I bet we can rip him to pieces in a larger group without to much effort. Then again, I could just leave him here and perhaps get the chance to fight him again later, if he kills all of them. But then he won’t be as strong. Hmmm…decisions, decisions. Oh, forget all of that. I just want to fight him.

James drew Crimson Rain and he used a single soru to dash in the path of the quick moving person to block the cut on Nishki’s ribs. As he was doing this, he spun Kazeshini and sent a Wind Tunnel at Gondar, Raiman, and Marrow. The vortex of wind blades deflected their bullets and rushed towards the trio.

James threw back his head and shouted, “THIS MARINE IS MINE! BACK OFF NOW!”

Gavin

Gavin sighed. “I really shouldn’t,” he said. “We have a conflict of interest. You guys want to save the ship and I want to rip it to pieces.” He disappeared and then reappeared next to Amari, now staring at T.H. “Look, punk, I really don’t want to have to deal with you right now,” Gavin said. “Go away. Shoo, before I play you a beat of death.”

((OOC: Oh God, come on guys ! .. why dont people just let things go as we planned them, Nik ? lol .. oh well, time for Wally then to sort it out.))

Seeing James moving, Wally quickly extents his hand and pulls James towards him "Dont you interfere .. you brat !" as he pulls him, he sents a pair of large Yami Yaiba's (Dark Blades), one targetting James head on, and the other going towards Nishki. The rest of the crew simply continue firing towards Nishki, confident that this time no one can interfere, plus Gondar counter's James air attack with an air current-styed attack of his own.
Since James was pulled, Cebros's attack is not blocked, meaning Nishki has only a moment's time, to even try and block the attack.

MAXIMILLION

"Hmph. Wally... Just because we are allies it does not mean you are going to steal my pray... If I kill the Vice Admiral's previous opponent, then my true power shall be shown to the world...". Then, the captain of the Avengers used a Shockwave on the ground and gave force to himself to jump high in the air. He looked towards James with his cold-looking face, he pointed towards him with his right hand and said "This is going to be the end of you... Shockwave!" as he moved his hand quickly and launched a Shockwave attack towards the pirate in an attempt to cause him some damage. However...

ADMIRAL JIPER

After he used his Soru towards the place where the big ship appeared, the Admiral of the Marines finally appeared! Admiral Jiper Juicest was there and ready to see what was going on. Much to his surprise, he saw some familiar faces. One of them was Nishki and the other ones were Wally and his crew. James on the other side reminded him of something... He had probably seen his poster somewhere. Finally, there was another man he had not seen before... Maximillion. He tried to say "Is a party going on here?" before he saw Wally and his crew as well as Maximillion attacking James and Nishki. In an instant, he got serious and he said "Those bastards are attacking Nishki for some reason... I knew we should not be trusting a pirate...". Afterwards, he pointed towards the place where the attacks of Wally's crew were with all of his hands fingers, as well as towards Maximillion's attack. He quickly moved his hands downwards, creating a whirlwind from each finger and said "Whirlwind!" as he launched them towards the Dark Blades, the Shockwave as well as the crew's attacks. He did not know what was exactly happening but he could see through the betrayal for sure...

Speeding to a halt in mid-air, Vince terminated his attack against the paper man. Dropping to the ground and sliding backwards along a tendril of poison, Kalamity dismissed the massive venom web that lay infront and dropped his jaw in a foul-smelling sigh.

"My apologies, Paper-kun. Please proceed as you wish; there is no more point to fighting."

Stepping aside, hanging Light and Moon at his waist on his armless side, Kalamity turned his head towards Talitha. He didn't seem worried that the strange man apparently made out of sticky-notes or whatever would attack him, the way forward re-opened.

"I know you will not be pleased to see us let an interloper go with so little to do," Vince explained as he made his way back towards Talitha, "but the situation has changed considerably. Nishki-chujo is currently at the heart of a very large fight..."

Lifting his single good arm, Vince leveled it off to the west.

"Two other marines are there: Noyamano-chujo and Jiper-taisho. There is a great deal of chaos, so I can not be sure about everything. My sensors are not so sophisticated as to see through walls or anything, chrah hrah!"

Turning to face the direction he'd been pointing, Vince's black, lifeless eye-disk stared as if he were seeing through the walls, in spite of his comment that he could not. His arm slowly fell back to his side, his head tilting this way and that.

"Chujo is not at full strength, it seems," Vince announced after a short moment. "I cannot help but feel that he has enough aid in the presence of Jiper-taisho, but that violent Noyamano-chujo...may end up hurting more than helping." Once again, Kalamity faced Talitha.

"I have a prime directive that is different from yours, Blythe-shosho, but we are both here to destroy the Oro Jackson in the end. However, if you should wish to take a momentary side-trip, to make certain that fair play is kept...chrah hrah hrah..."

"I could spare the few moments. I have been informed that the Oro Jackson had already been found."

With the sword he had recently picked up Iken effortlessly blocked the punch, as the sword absorbed every ounce of energy the cyborg had put into the punch. With his free hand Iken drew and sliced at Hercules, sending a blade of air at the close ranged opponents midsection. "I thought you were the strongest this place had to offer?" Iken questioned his foe. Looking back a Gael, Iken worried that he would get hurt if he didn't step back so I can came up with a plan. "Gael, I fear someone has destroyed sections of the dome. Would you try to seal them so everyone doesn't drown?"

James

“Me? Interfering?” James snapped. “I’m sorry, I did not realize that you were here first!”

James brought Crimson Rain up to bear just in time to intercept the oncoming blade of darkness. The sea stone in Crimson Rain’s blade negated the dark attack and James quickly shrugged Wally off, but before he could jump away, Maximillion was attacking him. Then some Marine showed up and blew away Maximillion’s attack.

“This place is really getting to crowded,” James muttered. “All I wanted was to duel that Marine…Nikky, or whatever they called him, but nooo.”

James considered going all out, but he cast that thought aside almost instantly. There was not point in wasting all of his energy this earlier in the battle. Still, he really wanted to try out that new attack he had invented. He hadn’t bee able to use it at full power because doing so would have really worn Kazeshini out.

James scanned the battlefield, searching for the nearest target. As annoyed as he was with those idiotic pirates who kept attacking him, he didn’t really want to hurt them…much. And then there was that Marine who had just shown up. Sure, he was a Marine and he looked tough, which made him a prime target, but he had just helped James out so the teen was hesitant to move in on him. So all that left was his original target, who was already being ganged up on by a bunch of other pirates. That would be no fun at all.

Freddy and Jim

In the main control center of Atlantis, Freddy was watching the monitors, observing the huge battle that all seemed to revolve around that Marine who could turn into a bird of fire. He heard a thumping noise behind him and he turned just in time to watch several Marines breaking into the room. Freddy rushed them, whipping up his gatling arm and gunning most of them down. Then he was upon them. Freddy’s gatling arm changed, the barrels retracting and forming fingers, which wrapped around the head of one of the remaining Marines and crushing it into pulp. It was a nasty way of fighting and Freddy hated doing it, but he was also furious at the invasion and saddened by the many Atlantean deaths.

The last few Marines were easy to kill since they were so shocked by their comrade’s quick deaths. Freddy was pushing the bodies into a corner when he heard someone else coming his way. He dove back to the computers, placing himself in front of them and preparing for battle. Then the person appeared. It was Jim. Freddy relaxed and smiled slightly.

“It’s good to see that you are still alive,” he said.

“What’s the situation?” Jim asked, already all business.

“It looks like we’re going to have to go Code Green,” Freddy replied, his expression somber.

“Is it really that bad?” Jim asked him.

Freddy moved aside and waved at the monitor he had been observing a minute before. “See for yourself.”

Jim moved forward and watched the battle between the superpowers of both the pirates and the Marines. He winced. “I see what you mean,” he said. “We can’t fight people with this kind of strength.”

Freddy nodded. “We only have one option left: to abandon Atlantis.”

Meanwhile watching the battle...
A shadow stood on a large building surrounded by dozens of dead atlantians, the shadow held up a den den mushi "Fleet Admiral it seems you were right, Wally has shown his true colors he and his crew are now attacking Vice Admiral Nishki" It got quiet for a moment and then the Fleet Admiral spoke " Very Well prove your worth to the government and bring down the traitor oh and one more thing we kept you identity a secret so only the rank Vice Admirals and up know who you are so don't go killing the marines who might attack you" *Click* the den den mushi hung up...

((Guys, seriously, Nik, Pathea and me have planned things, do not keep sayin you blocked the attacks aiming Nishki ! lol))

Vs James

Simo said, "Time to finish this!" He created a large jet stream around his body and flew towards James. He thrust his trident forward hoping the devil fruit user wouldn't notice that he had seastone on the tips of his trident.

[[Hercules vs Iken vs Gael and Ranyx]]

Hercules didnt have to move, the attack could not successfully slice through his body. Hercules analysed the situation and completely ignored the meaning of Ikens words as they did not affect him or make him feel any emotion. Hercules then stood foward and lifted his hands up, he fired machine gun rounds at iken from mid range.

"Oh shit!" Iken said as his eyes became wide. The cyborg was going to use a machine gun at close range and Iken didn't know if he could block in time.

"Three Sword Style: Whirl Wind Shield"

Iken began spinning all three of his swords around with both hands at high speeds causing somewhat of a whirl wind. The sword's images blurred into one making them look like one solid spinning object. Soon the sparks began to fly as the bullets clashed with the swords. However strangely enough only about one third of the bullets made sparks once they hit. Iken spun the swords as fast as he could because he knew one stray bullet could potentially hurt and or kill not just himself, but Gael too.

Once the bullets stopped flying, Iken largest sword was glowing a dull orange. With his left hand Iken swung his two katanas creating two blades of air.

"Blade Cannon"

The two blades of air were aimed at Hercules' feet, this caused dust and and debris to shoot up creating somewhat of a smoke screen. Iken used this momentary loss of eye contact to his advantage.

"Namikaze Style: Flash Blade Rejection Backlash"

At speeds near soru Iken charged towards and past Hercules. As Iken looked back to see if he had hit the cyborg, everything within the area from where he had started to where he had ended his charge, was sliced into small chunks, as an explosion occurred from Iken releasing all the energy the sword had gathered times 10 along with the power he put into the attack.

Kanhoji cautiously walked through the wall. Heh, holographic. Been a long time since he saw something like this.
Looking around, he saw the controls infront of a window which shows the ship.
Looking at it, he saw his comrades (well, Gavin somewhat as a comrade in a way) on the ship.
Looking at the controls, he sweatdropped a bit. Oh yeah, they have a secret code for these controls, pressing the wrong button, and they'll probably die.
........
Now what were the code again?

((@Shadow: It’s a war. Not a planned operation. If you want to do your own little thing then you’ll have to think up a way to get rid of everyone else. I’m just acting it out the way James would react to these things. And earlier, nikz suggested a duel between Nishki and James. I guess he changed his mind about that, but I can’t just back down, not without making James look like a wimp.
@Frog Dragon: Do what you will with Kaori. All of the other Aurora Pirates have scattered from the ship already and are doing their own stuff.))

James

James spotted the oncoming Simo and he whirled around, bringing Kazeshini up with wind behind it to power his blow. Somehow when the wind sword connected to the trident, the wind vanished. James felt himself being flung away, but he twisted himself around and landed lightly on his feet. For a brief moment he started at Simo and his trident, wondering why his defense had collapsed. Then it clicked.

“Ah…seastone,” James muttered. “This could be potentially problematic.”

It also meant he couldn’t bring out Kazeshini’s full power. If he did, seastone could simply drain it and he would have to rely totally on swordsmanship alone. That’s why he usually put Crimson Rain away in its sheath when he went all out. He didn’t want his two blades to come into contact.

I would guess that is his main weapon, James thought to himself. My best course of action would be to keep my distance and snipe at him with Kazeshini. Then again, that could lead to a long, drawn out fight. Or…maybe it would be better to test his skill. Perhaps I can beat him in close range. And I could use that…the technique my old master taught me should be sufficient.

James raised both Kazeshini and Crimson Rain in front of him and crossed their blades. In a monotone voice he said, “Lightning Dance. First Step…” James kicked off of the ground using soru to dash past Simo. When he reappeared, his blades were no longer crossed. Instead, he held them down at his sides. The reason for this was because he had made a cut with both swords, aimed at Simo’s chest, as he went by him. “…Spark Dash.”

((Sigh, you guys and arguing i swear. 1. Yes i did say James vs nishki as a sort of small match where James would get to face Nishki while i was waiting for Wally to make his movie, cause that is a highlight for a number of reasons. I dont expect a winner out of this match anyway. 2. Shadow, lets go with the flow of things, once things set in motion, the flow cannot be stopped, can we stop the flow of the river, 3. I need to know what attacks have been done which i need to dodge))

Maxulus

Cordell threw his stone forward, turning it into a chunk of shellrock, and then increasing that to create a protective shield for him and Gunda. The rock absorbed the blast, for the most part anyway. Cordell shrunk the rock back down into a bo staff, and Gunda sighed. "Well, well. I hate to say this, but it seems we only have a short time to deal with you." Two mirrors appeared in her hands, and she threw them at Maxulus like a frisbee.

Kalamity

Segudo leapt back, about to engage the Marine in battle... and then stopped. The Marine gave up, oddly enough. "I thank you for aiding me in my divine mission." He separated into paper and flowed forward, through the opened gate.

Ran

Gyupaa's wiry, straw body contorted to avoid the spears, and he spiraled forward, trying to rip Ran apart with his steel talons.

Iken & Hercules

Gael grinned broadly and began trotting off towards the leaks in question. "Good idea, Iken~ I'll do just that! Maybe even do a little drainage..." He swept his arms up, causing large, thick trees to plug up all the leaking holes. Next came mangroves, with large, twisting roots that started sucking up all the water they came across, and plugging up the tiny leaks left over. Meanwhile Ranyx watch Iken and Hercules fight. "Look, my friend, we do not intend to harm Atlantis at all. On the contrary."

Toshiro

Goth leaped over on top of the mace, but was caught off guard, causing him to fall off and land on his back on the floor in front of Toshiro.

Anubis

The sand impaled Kyzrna, leaving her damaged and prone. She writhed about for several minutes. Deep inside her brain, she was losing a battle. Her other personalities finally had the upper hand, and struck her down. She loosed an unearthly shriek as she morphed into Nikolai, and then into Dahlea. "Matt... Isaac. Bring me to the ship, and see who you can reclaim, please..." Matthew and Isaac rushed forward and lifted up Dahlea, running off to the ship to save her.

[[Exit Matthew, Isaac, and Chai]]

((James: I understand, but being able to block attacks from like, 4-5 high leveled pirates .. isnt that a bit too much ? Just asking you this. 2 level 6 inmates, one infamous rookie and a NW Veteran, as well as 2 of Wally's strongest fighters attacked Nishki, I find it crazy for only 1 person to be a match for all those at the same time.
Nishki: Alright Nik, at the moment, you are bein targetted by a rifle shot by Sabres, no one blocked that, a claw attack by Cebros, and gunshots by Raiman, Marrow and Gondar. Jiper has stepped in to block all attacks, but I will use my Jason to intercept, so those are the attacks going towards your char.))

"Land crush !!!" A large pillar is thrown right in the way of Jiper's air attack and blocks the strikes aiming to cancel his crew's assault, albeit just barely, with the pillar getting destroyed in pieces afterwards.
Jason jumps and lands some distance in frond of Jiper "My my .. now that is a bit of a too-much enemy even for me, but I think I can put up a decent fight till the job's done, Admiral Jiper .. hehehehe !" Jason grins and touches the ground below.
"Gaia Overlord !" he manipulates the ground, forming 2 walls of land and sents them towards Jiper.

ADMIRAL JIPER

Jiper sighed as he looked at the two walls of land coming towards him in order to strike him. He said "Soru!" as he run with his extremely fast Soru and dodged the attack easily. He said "Hmph. You dare to take on an Admiral? Let me say this... I am a Marine Admiral for a reason. And do you know what that reason is? It is my strength!". Then, he pointed towards Jason with one of his fingers and said "My long nails help me use Shigan from afar, you know... Shigan!" and then he launched an air bullet, as strong as Shigan towards Jason's chest in order to stop him.

Jason draws his sword and strikes the air bullet, stopping it, but still the air impact is enough to sent small slashes around the air and give Jason a few scratches. "My my, I know that ... but you seem to forget that I am a Level 6 inmate, the infamous Jason the Monk, with well over 200,000,000 bounty ! Ha !!" he swings his sword and sents an air current towards Jiper, and the same time he throws a pillar of land with his other hand. *Mmmmm, I wont be able to hold on on my own thought, this guy's hella strong and isnt even going all out yet ..* he thinks, remaining calm for the time being.

Jiper sighed as he listened to the man's speech. A level 6 inmate? He had probably escaped at the time Seshomaru infiltrated Impel Down and took Amarant with him. He probably was outside because of him... Jiper had made a terrible mistake at that time. It was one of the few disgraces in his whole career as a Marine. However, he had time to correct his mistakes. He laughed and said "A level 6 inmate, huh? This is good... Very good... Because I have some issues with the inmates of the 6th floor of Impel Down...". Then, his nails started shining and it looked like he was gathering something on them. Soon enough, he pointed towards Jason with his shining fingers and he looked towards him with his face turned around. Apparently, he was revealing his "bad", destroyed face. He whispered "Whirlwind Line!" as he launched a beam made of his signature whirlwinds towards the opponent in order to pierce through his chest.

Vs James

Simo was taken off guard with the speed of James. Thankfully the jet stream around him stopped some of the attack, but two massive slashes still appeared on Simo's chest. "Faster than I thought," coughed Simo. Simo stood up straight and said, "Wind Scythe." He launched a couple of air blades at James.

Vs Goth

Toshiro smiled, "Now you are mine!" He picked up his left foot and tried to stomp on Goth's chest.
