| ((The rehearsal went great. I'm not actually in the wedding, but I'm running the sound systems.))
"Owowowowowowowow..." Gavin moaned. "That hurts!"
"It's your own fault for sitting up after I told you not to!" the nurse scolded Gavin. "So stay DOWN!" She shoved him back down again as he started to sit up to greet Amari. The nurse cast one last glance at the room's window, which had shattered from Gavin's scream. She shook her head and left the room, saying to Amari, "He's all yours."
"Hey Amari!" Gavin raised an arm and waved at her. "Sorry, I can't get up. Otherwise, I'm fine. How about you?" ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
"Really?" Quinton grinned. "Let's test that theory then." He dropped down and planted both of his hands flat on the ground. "Ta-ru-Ta-ru Field!" Tar poured from Quinton's palms and it spread outwards. It wasn't fast, but there was so much of it and it was constantly coming out so it was soon almost to where Jack was standing. Jack walked backwards slowly, the tar creeping after him.
Since he had a minute, Quinton glanced over his shoulder. "Ivan! Zaru! Get out here!" Two men dropped down on either side of Quinton, staying back a little ways so that the tar would not reach them. "You two, take your people and gather up the townspeople! Kill all who resist."
"Yes sir!" Ivan and Zaru said together. They ran off to find their troops.

| Sudden, without knowin it, Kanhoji was right behind the two, Ivan and Zaru and put his hands on one each of their shoulders. If anyone remember, Kanhoji have senstive hearing, and since he didn't think his sister and Gavin are in any trouble, or he would've heard more screaming right about now, he concentration on the fight and sceneary around. He can hear the foot step of the two as they came closer and can't help but come in a little closer to find out who these people are to come in the middle of the fight between the two captains. The townfolks have any sense to get farther away from the fight. It seems to make Kanhoji laugh at the thought that they townfolks are rather use to this. "tsk tsk tsk. Don't bring innocent people into this, it made the fight less fun." Kanhoji said, furrowing his eyebrow as he made, or attempt to make, a cutesy pout. "Why not stay and enjoy the fight?" Kanhoji questioned, grinning. It's obvious at this point, he wouldn't let them go. | |

| Amari blinked and sweatdropped as she saw the nurse shove gavin into his bed and walked over, giving the nurse a wary smile, waiting for her to leave. Once she was out she turned to gavin. "Good, and i'm fine." Amari frowns and bites on her lip. "Who were they?" | |

| Gavin's face became serious. "I don't know," he said. "They wanted me to help them sneak into some mansion on this island. Apparently I had been on top of that mansion earlier and they thought I could get in. But those people were unfamiliar." Gavin sighed. "I dunno...maybe I should have kept a lower profile." _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Ivan twisted around and whipped out a couple of dual bladed lances that were strapped across his back and thrust them at Kanhoji's chest. "Go!" he shouted to Zaru, who nodded and ran off, drawing a scythe from his back. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
As Jack backed away, Quinton pulled some of the tar back and then made it rise up in a wave. He jumped on the wave and it rushed towards Jack. Jack saw it coming and jumped back to avoid it, but as he did, hundreds of little black hands shot out of the wave and reached towards Jack, who disappeared in a burst of speed.

| Amari nodded and sighed, glaring at the floor, thinking of the fight before. "You snuck into a mansions grounds?" She sat on the floor, slowly, cautious of her injury. | |

| "Well, not really on the grounds..." Gavin said. "I more or less jumped onto the roof from a nearby building. It was a nice view from up there." He looked over and saw his guitar leaning against the wall next to him. Gavin smiled...but then his face dropped when he realized something was missing. "Where's my sword?" he asked. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Jack reappeared above his quarry and kicked down at Quinton's head. Quinton barely dodged, the foot grazing the side of his face and sending him tumbling back to earth, the wave of tar falling with him. Jack landed nearby...on a spot where there was tar.
"Now I've got you," Quinton said, standing back up and wiping away a small trickle of blood from his cheek.
"Perhaps," Jack said. "But you know, for the tar to spread like this it would have to be pretty wet. So..." He crouched and then dashed forward, the tar sucking at his feet as he sprinted towards Quinton.
"You may be able to move," Quinton said. "But you're still to slow!" He dodged to the side of Jack's punch and then he grabbed Jack's face and slammed him down into the tar behind him. "Tar trap!" Quinton said and the tar around Jack began rushing together to cover him.

| Before Ivan can thrust the lances, Kanhoji already disappead, turned invisable, but the wielder of the lcances should find that, for some reason, his lances put on a little wait. For people who can't see Kanhoji for the moment, it's simple, using his agilty, Kanhoji jumped up, only barely dodging the lances from his feet for about an inch. Using the lances to his advanages, he uses them as a good stepping stone and jumped towards the guy who escaped, jumping right in front of him, without him even noticing since Kanhoji is invisable. With that, invisably grinning, Kanhoji charged with a fist towards Zaru and punches him in the stomach. | |

| Amari blinks and gives him a sad smile. "I didnt have time to grab the sword when i was tunning away...I-i could go get it! It might still be in the alley!" She immediatly gets up and heads over to the window, unlocking and opening it. | |

| Zaru grunted and stumbled back. He was a big man and he had toned his body to take hits.
"There you are!" a voice shouted from behind Kanhoji. "Get him, Leo!" A giant lion came flying towards Kanhoji's position. Meredith was right behind her lion/whip, a bloody sword, Gavin's sword, clutched in her other hand. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
"I'll come with you," Gavin said, sitting up. He winced, but spun around and got out of bed, reaching for his guitar. Then he stopped and looked down at himself. "But first I'll need a shirt." He still had on his pants, of course, (It may be a hospital, but its still full of women!) but his shirt and shoes were missing. He looked around for a closet. Seeing one, he started towards it. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Jack twisted over and grabbed Quinton's face. "You are so full of it," Jack said. He yanked Quinton clear off the ground and smashed him into the ground beside him, causing cracks to appear in the concrete, which wasn't actually visible due to all the tar. Both Jack and Quinton stood up quickly.
"What are you?" Quinton asked. "I've never met someone as strong as you are. You're shrugging this off like its nothing!"
"It is nothing," Jack replied. "We live in a world full of devil fruit freaks, I had to become stronger to match them." To further prove his point, Jack shot forward, throwing several punches at Quinton's face. Quinton blocked them with his arms, but then Jack's foot shot up and kicked him from the side, right on the point where his kidneys were. Quinton's face screwed up in pain as he was sent flying away over the battlefield.

| Amari rolls her eyes and taps her foot on the ground impatiently, the other foot on the windowsill. _MEN!!!_ "Are you sure you should be up?" She asks with slight worry in her voice. | |

| Gavin flashed Amari a grin. "Watch it," he warned her. "You're starting to sound like you care." He opened the closet, finding his shirt and shoes and then he slipped them on. "As for whether or not I can keep up..." Gavin crossed over to the window. "You just try and keep up with me!" He threw himself out and caught onto the edge of a building, scrambling up its side, while laughing insanely. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
"ENOUGH!" Quinton roared as he leaped back to his feet. He ignored the pain in his side and swept his hand through the air. The tar around Jack started transforming into spikes, so he jumped up in the air to dodge, which ended up being his final mistake. Quinton, predicting this move would occur, was already in the air, tar forming around his hand, making it an incredibly huge fist. "Tar...HAMMER!" Quinton smashed Jack with his fist, slamming him back into the ground with great force. Quinton hit the ground about twenty feet away. He grinned when he saw Jack lying on his back, several spikes sticking through him. "Got you..." Quinton chuckled. "Old man."

| Kanhoji invisably grinned as he stayed there till at the last minute, he flipped to the side, so the lion can come in contact with Zaru instead. As he watched the transition with the lion and Zaru, he have to laugh a little at the fact that the attack with the lion looked soooo much like Meredith was attended to attack Zaru. Kanhoji made a sigh in his head as he also remember one thing. Lion = sense of smell Kanhoji really should've taken that bath of his. Soon after, he jumped to a nearby roof, taking a quick look at old ossan's fight and frowned. Ossan is in trouble.

| ((Uh...your post came in like half a second after mine. The 'ossan' really isn't doing very well.))
"Leo! Get back!" Meredith pulled back on her whip, drawing Leo back to her side. "Sorry about that Zaru," she said. "I was trying to track him with Leo's nose."
"S'okay," Zaru muttered, lying flattened on the ground.
"Get up," Ivan snapped. "The captain might need our help."
"As if!" Zaru chuckled. "When has he ever needed anyone's help?"
"It doesn't matter," Ivan said. "This man is a class all of his own."
"Yeah, yeah," Zaru muttered. "Then you go. You're the strongest one of the three of us."
"Agreed," Ivan said. "You gather the troops. Meredith, cover Zaru and keep Leo out to watch for that invisible man. I'll be fine by myself." He turned away, walking back to his captain's fight.

Gavin laughed, then winced. "Ow," he muttered. "Stupid pain." He ran on after Amari. "So, how far away is this place?" he asked her. "Is it possible that anyone else picked up my sword? Where's Kanhoji? Have you seen him?" He was nervous and it was making him talkative. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Quinton gasped for breath. He was walking away from Jack, who appeared to be dead now, and he was trying to return to his ship. As Quinton walked beyond his field of tar, a figure dropped in front of him. It was a woman. She was dressed entirely in a black jumpsuit. A strip of black cloth was over her eyes.
"My captain," the woman said. "You beat him." Her voice was void of emotion.
"So?" Quinton grinned. "What are you going to do about it?"
"I will kill you," the woman replied. "Then I will get my captain."

Kanhoji frowned as he jump towards the old man. Dang it, but good thing he was able to learn enough medical skill from his master ossan. "Oi, old man, you ok?" Kanhoji whispered, still invisable as he creep up forwards to the man. He didn't like it when interesting people die, and if the old man die, who would take care of the town. He frowned at the choas that was sure to come, but this old man shouldn't have died so easily. Kanhoji slowly pull Jack out of the spikes and when the man was fully unspiked, Kanhoji put him down to a more even ground as he inspect the wound.

| Amari started to run next to him and glanced as he winced. "The place isnt far if we keep going at this speed. I'm not sure if anyone would but i left that girl there so its a possibilty that she took it. Kanhoji shouldnt be too far off from the boat and no....i havent seen him" She answered each question calmly but her voice faltered as she thought of kanhoji.... | |

| ((Ahhhh, it doesn't matter. He might have been looking at Jack a moment before all that happened or something.))
Jack coughed, spitting up blood. His eyes snapped open and he looked around wildly, but then calmed down when he set his eyes on Kanhoji.
"Guess I got thrashed pretty badly," Jack whispered. His wounds were large and it was obvious he wouldn't last much longer under these conditions. Fortunately his heart had not be hit, but a lung was now punctured and blood was quickly filling it up. Several of his ribs were broken as well as one of his arms. All over his body were holes from where the spikes had hit him. "I'm fading fast..." Jack continued, his voice weaker then what it had been a moment before. "Boy, promise me one thing. Promise you won't do anything stupid and die. The Grand Line...wouldn't be half as fun without people like you around..." ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Gavin saw her face and his own softened. "Kanhoji will be fine," he said in what he hoped was a soothing voice. "But we can go look for him first if you want. He's your brother. He's much more important then some stupid old sword." ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Liza started towards Quinton, but then another figure jumped in her way. It was Ivan. He crossed his lances in front of himself and looked back at Quinton.
"Go, captain!" Ivan said. "I'll deal with her!"
"Right," Quinton headed off again, taking a detour around Liza, but still heading towards his ship.
"Let's not waste words," Liza said. "I doubt either of us want this to last more then a few seconds."
Ivan smiled. "Not a bad idea," he said. "I agree. Let's end this now!"
The two jumped towards each other, Ivan aiming to plunge his lances into Liza, but one of her legs shot out, kicking the weapons aside. Liza suddenly spun like a top.
"Supen-Supen: Topspin!" Liza spun towards Ivan, who barely blocked her attack in time with his lances.
What is this? Ivan wondered. Liza's spin slowed and he could see that she was wearing gloves with claws on them. Her shoes had heels on them, but each of those heels was actually a blade.

| Kanhoji turned semi-invisable, looking like a ghost above Jack, grinning at him, yet, it was a sad grin. "You said only one thing. I'll promise you that I won't die, but doing nothing stupid would be the hardest thing in my life to do." Kanhoji said, geniuely laughing, but quietly. "And stop laughing as if you're going to die soon. You're tougher than that ossan." Kanhoji said, frowning a bit, even though he was starting to get hopeless, but he kicked the feeling right out of him and started to dig through his messenger bag, finding a sewin kit and a medical bag. "As if I would left these people here without a mayor." Kanhoji gave him a confident grinned as he started to try fix the lung first. Kanhoji gulped as he realized that jack ossan may need some blood transfusion. He would not let this ossan die! He frowns as he hoped that nobody notice yet, in his semi-visable form. | |

| Jack watched Kanhoji in silence. Then he said, "Do as you like, boy. I wouldn't try to stop you, even if I could." _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Gavin smiled at Amari. "Family is never to much trouble," he said. He slowed down, letting Amari get a little bit ahead so that he wouldn't run into her, then he changed direction and headed towards the docks. "Let's go!" he said. "You said the ship right? We'll start there!" _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
"Supen-Supen: Backspin!" Liza revered direction, catching Ivan off guard. Her blades knocked his lances aside and cut into his chest. Ivan tried to back up to get away from her, but Liza jumped in the air and she kicked at Ivan, one of her blade heels piercing his forehead. He dropped without a sound. Liza landed and walked away from him, heading off in the direction Quinton had gone.

| Kanhoji grinned and saw that the weird obasan fight is finish, sighing as he saw her going over to Quinton. He made a self note that he'll help her in some way.. there has to be a way to seal all that tar up... Thinking, Kanhoji continued to mend Jake-ossan's wounds, giving him a reassuring smile also, having a determine face to save the old man. He sew up all the wounds, but the puncture lung that was still there is bad. He needed to put the man onto life support, meaning, he needs to find a way to help get oxygen in him. He stood up quickly as he look around for anything that could've help the old man, his hands soaked in blood. "I'll be right back old man." Kanhoji quickly said as he ran towards down the street, hoping to find a tank of oxygen. | |

| Gavin reached the ship in record time, even with his injury. He landed near the ship and scanned the docks, looking for Kanhoji. Then he spotted a large, puddle of....black stuff. Near the black stuff was a body. Gavin ran over to the black stuff and put his finger in it, to test it. When he pulled his finger back, some of the stuff came with it. It was tar. Gavin used the blades of his guitar to cut himself free from the stuff, and then he went to the body. The person was an older man, he was not old, but certainly not in the prime of his life. He seemed to be wearing a suit, though it was hard to tell with all the tar that was stuck to him. He had several recent wounds that had been even more recently mended up. The man was breathing, but just barely. Gavin stood back up and took another look around. He really hoped Kanhoji had not been in this mess, whatever had happened. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Liza climbed aboard the Nightshade Pirate's ship. There, standing at the center of the deck was Quinton. He had his arms crossed and he was leaning against the main mast of the ship, his eyes closed. As Liza walked towards him, Quinton's eyes snapped open.
"So...you beat Ivan," he surmised. "Not bad. Still, this is as far as you go!" He dropped into a battle stance as Liza ran straight for him.

| Gavin reached down and seized the front of the man's tar covered shirt. He pulled him up to eye level and squinted at the man.
"Yo!" Gavin said. "Have you seen a blue-haired guy walking around here with a stupid expression on his face? Didn't think so." Gavin released the front of the man's shirt and he fell back against the ground. Gavin stood back up and examined the tar that was now on his hand, critically. "This guy won't talk," Gavin said. "I think he's out of it."
