Simply Running Business (Open to Everyone)

The lion had no room or time to move and it roared in pain as the sword bit into its side. It turned, seizing the sword in its jaws before pulling back its paw and smashing it into ground, shattering the concrete around Amari.

Gavin moved on, but Danny stood up behind him again. Danny snapped the scissors apart into two separate swords. He jumped forward slashing at Gavin's back. Gavin rotated and blocked a sword with his guitar, but then he realized Danny's weapon was no longer in a single part. In fact, Danny had his second sword sweeping up from below. The sword slashed Gavin across the chest and he fell back and landed on the ground.

"It's over for you," Danny said.

"Not...yet..." Gavin gasped. He pulled himself up off of the ground. "I'm...not...done...yet..." He raised one hand and pointed his forefinger at Danny, who stood there, smiling slightly.

"What are you going to do?" Danny asked. "You can barely stand."

Gavin didn't reply. "120...decibel..." Gavin whispered.

Danny's eyes widened in shock as a loud note played out in his head. He cried out and fell to his knees, clapping his hands of his ears.

Gavin dropped to his own knees and he reached around, his hand finding his sword lying nearby. He picked up his sword and threw it at Danny, the sword piercing Danny's chest. Danny sat there on his knees, staring at Gavin. He smiled slightly, and chuckled.

"Not bad..." Danny said quietly. He fell face first on the ground.

Gavin could tell he was dead even without checking. "Amari..." Gavin fell on the ground as well, but he turned his head to look at the lion. "Amari..." then he was gone, slipping into unconsciousness.

"Yeah, I wanted the easy life, I guess," Jack explained. "I'm not all that impressive. Anyway...I need to go deal with a threat elsewhere. Some brats think they can take over my island. Do you want to walk and talk?"

Amari saw the sword shatter and backed against the wall, blood dripping from her hand. She saw Gavin pass out and looked around for something till she saw it, a metal ladder.
A smirk lite up her face and sparks immitted from her hands, contacting the ladder, making the ladder seperate with the bars and trap the lion like a cage and aimed for the girl trapping her also.
Creating a distraction, amari ran for gavin and grabbed his arm, helping him onto her back and jumped onto the roof and ran away towards where she didnt know yet...

Before Kanhoji can answer, happily that is, he felt a cold shiver went down on his spine.
Amari..? Gavin..?
He shook his head. They're strong than that, he'll have to believe in them on that.
"If you meant the Nightshade Crew then count me in! I didn't exactly have every information I need on them and It's too late to try and contact my information network." Kanhoji said, grinning.
"They were stupidly trying to sneak in your mansion. They didn't know how to determine the secruity system! I could do this in my sleep!" Kanhoji scolded as he shook his head, frowning slightly as if they were the idiots of the world.

Meredith growled in frustration. "Danny!" she called. "Get up! We're-" Then she turned and saw him lying there. "No..." she whispered. "Danny? DANNY!" Meredith ran over and flipped her friend over. He had a sword through his gut, his eyes were unfocused, and he had a small smile on his face. "You stupid idiot," Meredith whispered. "Dying with a smile. That's so like you." Her eyes burned as she looked up at the place where she had last seen Amari and Gavin. As her lion/whip came over to nuzzle her shoulder she whispered, "I will kill you. I will kill you both."

Gavin's eyes fluttered open. He could see red hair. "So...pretty..." he whispered. Then he winced. "Hurts...why...pain..." Slowly, his eyes closed as he lost consciousness again.

Jack chuckled softly. "I'm sure you could," he said with an amused look on his face. Jack went over to his desk and picked up a golden pocketwatch that was there. He slipped it into his pocket and then went to the window. He put one foot on the windowsill and then glance back at Kanhoji. "Come," he said. "I never really did like doors." Then he jumped out of the window and hit the ground at a run, heading away from his mansion.

Kanhoji can't help but laugh. At first he stiffen. He smell blood. And he smelled death. He pushed the aside, trying to push away the fear of his sister dying on him and jump out of the window also, with fluid grace and follow the pirate ossan.
For an old man, he sure can run!
While being amused at the moment, he can't help but feel just a bit too...nervous. Something is obviously happening to this town.

Amari hurried to a nearby inn, funny how shes always going to an inn, gavin murmurs something and she rolls her eyes.
_Great, now the guy's delusional, along with being a maniac for trouble_
She slides down the wall and walks up to the innkeeper who sees the blood and the color drains from her face.
"M-marie, get a room!! We have two near death here!!"
A girl about amari's age comes out along with two other women all wearing maids outfits and helps amari with gavin and enter a room, taking amari to another room to work on her side.
Amari glances back at gavin before passing out in the innkeepers arms.

Gavin's dreams were unsettling. He felt pain, lots of it. He wasn't sure if the pain was real or if it simply existed in his mind. At times his eyes opened and he caught glimpses of figures surrounding him. The first time this happened he heard the words, "...good...shallow...the...fighter..." Then he lost it again.

Jack knew Kanhoji was following him. He didn't need to look and make sure. It was just a feeling he got. He was glad Kanhoji was being so cooperative. He didn't want to hurt the boy. Now, he had to focus on the task at hand. It didn't take long to reach the docks. Many of the dock workers had disappeared as the pirates began unloading equipment. Jack stopped by the ship and watched the pirates in silence.

"So, the big boss himself comes down to greet me," a voice said. "I am truly honored."

Jack smiled and turned to face the man walking towards him from the side. "Quinton Mason," Jack said.

"And you know my name!" Quinton grinned. "There's no need to introduce yourself. I know all about you...Jack Ryuu."

Kanhoji walked up to next to the old man and take a better look at "Quinton Mason". He looks a lot different when he was far away talking to his crew.
He did not say anything to let his present known. He just watch the interaction between the two, at the same time, keeping his sense at top, his guard up, looking for anything dangerous and harmful in anyway. At the same time, he hoped his sister and Gavin are ok. If not, he'll go out of his way to jump in and save them, even if it kills him. He's responsible for his sister, he's responsible for Gavin.
He would not let them be killed by something so small as this.

Amari wakes up and looks around, the innkeeper orders the girls to watch the 'injured man' and that she'll watch over the girl, but once the innkeeper turned around she gasped as she saw amari awake.
"Alright, honey, you just sit back and relax. Your wounds are deep, you might not be up for a while."
Amari sat up anyway and immediatly felt nauseous, she peeled over wanting to throw up but somehow held it in. She turned towards the innkeeper, her gaze to the ground.
"Gavin?.....Is he okay?"
She was shocked how weak and feeble her voice sounded, appaerently the innkeeper caught it clearly and gave a sympathetic glance at her which amari loathed.
"Your friend will be fine. Now please sleep"
Amari shook her head and stood up only to fall to the ground in a heap, the innkeeper helped her onto the bed where amari fell asleep easily.

((Gavin's wounds are not deep and will be fixed up quickly, but I am simply going to leave him where he is for the moment and give him a little time to rest before he does something stupid again.))

"So...why have you come?" Jack asked with the air of someone who was merely talking about the weather.

"You have a nice place here," Quinton said. "Marines don't come here. It's a safe place. I want it."

Jack smiled wickedly. "You can have it," he replied. "When I die. I won't need it then."

"That's what I was hoping to hear," Quinton said. He shot forward at a speed that made him look like a blur. Jack calmly raised his right arm and blocked a kick that was aimed at his face.

"So it has come to this," Jack shook his head sadly. "My poor town will have to suffer damage. Oh well. Can't be helped."

Quinton continued smiling, but now he was seething with rage. Was this guy really not taking him seriously? Quinton spun around and launched a flurry of punches, all of which Jack simply stepped back or twisted to the side to evade. Quinton finished this up with a spinning jump kick, which Jack dodged by bending backwards all the way and balancing himself on his hands. He popped back up as Quinton landed in front of him, ready to punch again. Suddenly, Jack disappeared and reappeared behind Quinton.

"Are you done yet?" Good, it's my turn," Jack said. Quinton tried to spin around and punch Jack, but Jack ducked under it and smashed one of his fists into Quinton's chest, blowing him back twenty feet.

Amari woke up again and, with the innkeepers help, sat up and looked at her surroundings. A dull ache throbbed in her side, she looked wearily in a mirror only to find herself speechless. Her eyes were slightly tinged with blue from overusing her powers and her face was as pale as the moon on a dark night. She looked away and to her side, the bandage was bloodsoaked but otherwise clean and fresh.
Amari turned towards the window, wondering if kanhoji was okay...

Kanhoji, was obviously, amused by the whole thing. If he wasn't in the first place, then he wouldn't been here.
Just watching from the sidelines, still on his guard, he watch the two captains, well, one of them is a former captain, fight, writing down their moves and describing them perfectly on the paper of his journal. The speed is incredible. He had a feeling he wouldn't get much fighting skills out of Quinton since he is, in fact, against Jack but.... he hoped that Jack would be a bit more weiry about Quinton's tar tar powers. If not, there is no way that Jack would be able to get out of the tar trap unless Kanhoji have the equipments to make the tar dissolve.
Watching the fight with a careful eyes, he almost made an amused smirk as he watched Quinton punch back 20 feet away.

((Goodnight. I'm dropping out.))

Gavin woke up. He blinked as the light temporarily blinded him. Someone walked over to Gavin and he tried to sit up to see them, but the person sped up and pushed him back down.

"Don't get up!" a voice said. "Your wounds are too severe for you to move yet!" It was a young woman wearing a nurse's outfit.

"Sorry," Gavin grunted.

"You have nothing to be sorry about," the woman said, sounding amused. "You're the one who's injured."

As the woman began cleaning up around he room, Gavin turned his head to look at her. She had red hair. Gavin smiled. It was pretty. Red. Pretty. Hair. Gavin shot up in his bed and shouted, "AMARI!" Then his eyes bugged out as his wound throbbed horribly. His scream, amplified by his powers, could be heard from about a mile away.

Did someone just scream? Jack wondered, looking around.

"Not bad," Quinton said, coughing as he stood back up, drawing Jack's attention back to him. "This might actually be a challenge." I can't believe his strength, Quinton thought. I was wearing hardened tar under my clothing as armor, but it still felt like a sledgehammer hitting me. It looks like I'm going to have to go all out already. Quinton thrust out his hands on either side of him and tar poured from his finger tips, covering the ground around him. "Now, let me show you my real power," Quinton said. He held up his hands and twin jets of tar erupted from them, shooting towards Jack, who leaped out of the way to dodge.

"Tar huh?" Jack looked over at the tar on the ground next to him. "So you're another one of those devil fruit freaks. Not a bad ability, really. If I was caught by that, I would be stopped cold."

Amari covered her ears as she heard someone scream her name, she slipped on the striped shirt the innkeeper gave her and switched to the cargo pants, she looked at the hat and switched that too. Amari took one last look in the mirror, now looking more healthier, and headed down to gavin's room. She looked inside and leaned on the door frame.
"Are you okay?...."

Kanhoji jumped up to get out of the way and onto a roof. He jumped as he heard Amari's named screamed out from Gavin and shot up towards the direction. Since his hearing is senstive, the voice was much louder and can be easily pinpointed by Kanhoji.
Jumping up at a high distance, he could tell that it comes from an inn.
Landing back at his spot, many thoughts goes through his head, none of them positive.
Did Amari get hurt? Did someone try to attack her? A bounty hunter, or a marine get here?
Ok, scratch out marines, but what about a bounty hunter?!
Kanhoji look at the fight, then his sister, then the fight.
He decided to stay at the fight. (Oi! What about your sister?!)
Amari can take care of herself. She isn't an Into if not. Silently thinking, he wonder if he should more be worried about Gavin than Amari. He just knew from just looking at that guy, that he gets into more trouble that Kanhoji does, and that's saying much!

Kanhoji grins as he added more information about the tar. All he need is for his sister to scream his name, and he'll be there, dead or alive.

(( LIghten up Amari! He's saying it cause he cares! He knows better than to get in your way... and he'll just probably make it worse anyway XD . Kanhoji knows that you can take care of yourself and trust you completely to take care of Gavin ^^ Just call him and he'll be there. He can't assume to much things. It's his way.))
