Serious: Ryu and Minato Assassinate Mara!!! Chapter 1

Minato agreed with Ryu's statement, "Yeah your right, battling this monster is just suicide! he is stronger than the devil! I didn't want to say anything before because I didn't want you to think that I was a coward. Lets get out of here, were no match for him!" With that sentence, the duo had dissappeared. Dartz could see them trying to get away in slow motion and could of stopped them and finished them off without breaking a sweat had he so wished. Luckily for the guys, Dartz was kinda lazy to do unnecessary things and decided to spare them since they were no longer annoying obstacles in Dartz path. Dartz phased in an instant next to Mara and picked up her and then dissapeared himself. He was going to Marine Headquarters with Mara.

(Mara is free to wake up now, unless you'd rather wait till she gets to HQ)

((Awesome, Dartz will know that Sano has become a vigilante who will kill marines that he thinks are bad and will go after Red Beard. I wonder what his reaction will be))

Dartz had arrived at Marine Headquarters and quickly Mara to the Doctors there to get treated right away! In the meantime he was cornered by Marines and shown a letter from Sano. Apparantly Sano has betrayed them and will kill any marines that he deems are bad, including Red Beard. He found Red Beard who had woke up and told him, "You'd better stay here, Sano is after your life." Red Beard, "I am no coward! I can take him! I want to fight and bring in the traitor!"

(You can choose when to have Mara wake up all better and such)

Mara awoke unsteadily, the sound of a voice luring her back into consciousness. The first thing the Marine noticed was a dull pain in her limbs and head. She soon felt the pressure and texture of bandages. She wanted to know what was going on, but did not sit upright and only opened her eyes. She heard Sano's name but could not grasp the context yet, her head still swimming in a fog.

Dartz had entered the room, "Oh I see your awake. Your old friend Sano has betrayed us and Red Beard is out looking for him. How are you feeling? Dartz wondered if he was too straightforward with Mara.

Mara continued to stare at the ceiling. She didn't know who was talking, but based on the voice, she had a few guesses. Most likely a superior officer. Slowly, she began to speak. "I am aware of the situation with Sano. I not however know what those pirates were after."

Dartz stared at Mara with his usual mysterious gaze, "This is only a hypothetical guess but I assume that they tried to kidnap you and sell you to the highest bidder where you would end up in a very bad situation to be sure. However they probably changed their minds at the last minute and decided to kill you instead. I came to your rescue before they could finish the job, but again this is only a theory..."

Mara began to sit up but did not look towards Dartz. Instead she just stared straight and continued to speak. "You don't try to kill people you intend to capture." With some additional effort, Mara pulled herself into a sitting position and finally looked at who it was that did save her. She was surprised to see the man to say the least. Giving a sharp salute, she spoke again. "Thank you for getting me out of there sir."

Dartz did not change his expression as he continued his gaze. Dartz heard Mara's comment and replied, "That is true in theory, but criminals are not bound to any such rules, that is why they are criminals. Dartz gazed in silence for another moment before continuing, "Your most welcome, Captain. With all my rescuings and crime fighting that I performed over the years, I have become somewhat of a Superhero it seems. Those two that I faced were pretty weak, I am very much surprised that they were able to cause a Vice-Admiral to pass out." Mare replied, "According to the rumors you fight at the level of a full-fledged Marine Admiral! Perhaps that is why they seemed weak to you?" Dartz replied without showing any emotion, "Perhaps...however I also sensed an unusual Power Level, it was only Tier 3 level at best, but it felt somehow dark and evil...Whoever they are, they aren't a threat to me but I worry about Red Beard, He is my responsibility, If he dies because I let him walk out of here even though we knew full well that he was being targeted for assasination. I Can't let down my father by making such an error in judgement, I shall help Red Beard if he gets into trouble too big for even him to handle..."

In the corner of the room, within a shadow of a table, two eyes appeared and glowed red as it looked at them. "Hmmm, so the two pirates where no match for this man?" A grin forms in the shadow. "He might be a challenge to me. but I will have to wait. A battle in a marine hq will make annoying humans arive to desrupt the fun." He lets out a low laugh and fades away.

(I believe Xark has his eyes on Dartz now. Things are looking deadly within the One Piece world.)

((I wonder how Sano would react to Ryu now, that he has changed his mind about pirates, he might even syimpthise with him now ))

((Would he really? I doubt it, Ryu killed or almost killed Captain Mara. Sano seemed to have great loyalty to her and Mara never did anything bad to Sano. If Sano knew about it, I don't really think he would sympathize with Ryu all that much. This is just like he the time he fought Roger because he was targeting Jackson who was a friend of Mara's and also Mara herself.))

Mara slowly got to her feet and grabbed her effects which were placed on the bedside. She still felt dizzy, but believed some fresh air woudl do her some good. "I'm going to the dojo. I feel some training will be necessary."

Dartz stared on in his mystical gaze, "I believe you are right, a little training will be good for you. Good Luck" Dartz then whispered, "I sense a plot to destroy the navy-" Mara stopped in her tracks as she heard this, "W-What!?!" Dartz quickly replied, "Huh? I didn't say anything." Mara retorted, "Yes you did!" Dartz retorted back, "No, I did not. Your imagining things. Just go train." Dartz hoped that she would stop pressing the issue and find out the truth. He did not want to cause a panic.

((I wonder if Roger attacking the base will coencide with the Kane battle, that would be VERY lucky))

Good Point, that would be lucky for Sano, though it would be less lucky for Roger then it would be for Kane. While Kane should be able to hold his own even by himself. Roger won't be so lucky, there is a good chance he will be either arrested or killed especially if he fights with Dartz, who outclasses him in ever way. Roger is strong enough to defeat the ordinary marines ranked lower than Captain with ease and he might be able to defeat Mara but even if he gets past her he would probably be defeated by Marine Commodore, and if somehow he gets past a Commodore he has no chance against a Vice-Admiral much less Dartz who is on par with Marine Admirals in fighting ability. Roger escaping alive after taking down Mara is virtually impossible and would warrant a dramatic bounty raise. However I don't see him winning as it would take more combat strength then a massive army of rear-admiral(Admiral>Vice-Admiral>Rear-Admiral>Commodore>Captain) level fighters put together. The Marine HQ has 14 Vice-Admirals(Minus Kane), 3 Admirals, 1 Fleet Admiral, and Dartz(Visiting) at their disposal. A single Vice-Admiral(Tier 4) can wallop Roger(Tier 3 in fighting ability only) as easily as Kane(Tier 4) walloped Minato(Tier 3 in fighting ability only) in the beginning of this topic. In short Roger doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell of pulling his mission off.

that would also be good for Sano, that way he wouldnt have to wory about Roger in the devil bone pirates

Yeh I doubt any character that has been made so far can take down Marine HQ single-handed. Not even Dartz(Tier 5 in fighting ability) can take 2 Marine Admirals at once, let alone 3 and a Fleet Admiral to top it off) Even the Worlds Greatest Swordsman Hiko Seijuuro(Tier 5) can pull it off either. Marine Admiral Raizen(Tier 6 in fighting ability) might be able to pull it off, and Dartz's dad(Tier 7) could do it for sure. Gol D. Roger(Tier 6) Might be able to pull it off as well if he were alive.

he had a disease...... but seriously Sano needs all the time he can get, in the mean time he is just to weak
