Appearance: Mara Kund is often described as an attractive woman. Tall and lithe, she has a face to match. Angular and narrow features make her seem somewhat aggressive. Her hair is jet black and cut short, ending only halfway down her neck. Occasionally, her right eye is partially obscured by an uneven lock of hair. Her skin is rather pale, even considering her ocean faring career. As far as clothes go, she will always don the uniform of her position. She always keeps it clean enough to be considered new. Strapped to her waist lies a rapier with a beautifully adorned hand guard and blade. The waving threads of metal that make up the hand guard are weathered copper green in color along the outer edge. At the base of the blade, the words “Equal Pair” are engraved with gold filling. The scabbard shares the engraved text and has an outer case made of beautiful, green, weathered copper with gold trimming.
History: Raised in the Grandline, Mara Kund decided early on to become a Marine. Her childhood friend and sparring partner, known only as Jackson, however; had his own, directly opposing goal of becoming a pirate. Regardless of this fact, the both of them pushed each other to become stronger for the purpose of their goals. Unlike many others who were called swordsmen, Mara and Jackson focused on fencing. The style was different from what most people saw and they poured their efforts into it. The two were evenly matched through their training and by the time they had come of age, that fact had not changed. Eventually, the pair were presented by their master a matching pair of rapiers. Beautifully designed, each blade was constructed to be virtually identical. In gold lettering at the base of each blade, the words “Equal Pair” confirmed this. It was only shortly after that Mara and Jackson left their home island, each going in their separate directions, promising that one day, there would come a fight that one would surly emerge the victor from. After joining the Marines, Mara rose quickly through the ranks under the guidance of a Captain Bowen. A tall, muscular man with square features and a distinctive anchor style beard, Bowen was a calm and wise marine. He has a dislike of formality and constantly helped Mara learn just what it meant to be a marine. No one knows for sure how she managed to obtain a devil's fruit, but it is rumored that after a few years with the Marines, she received a package marked as being from an “Equal rival”. Today, Mara sails the Marine ship that she is the captain of, joyfully awaiting the day she will run into the pirate ship sporting a flag with two rapiers.
Personality: Mara is for the most part, kind hearted. Outside of combat, she is fun loving and will give aid to those who need it. When it comes to the business of the Marines however, she is deadly serious and will pursue her target with unyielding determination. Following Jackson has had a somewhat similar effect on her personality. When she hears news of his passing, she will pursue it with utmost determination.

Effect: The one who eats this fruit gains the unusual ability to "walk" within objects ignoring most outside influence. Although similar to abilities that allow individuals to pass through objects, whoever has this ability can not attack with any body part that is in the process of passing through something. For all intensive purposes, the user vanishes into the object they are walking on, through, or with. While the size of the object rarely matters, the user can not walk in an object smaller than their fist. The user can carry objects, but not other living beings with them when using this ability. A final strong point of this fruit is the fact that the user can walk with any moving object at the same pace of said object. For example, if the user decides to "walk" with a cannon ball being fired, they would be able to travel with it unseen to its target. On a final note, if the object that the user is walking in is submerged, they immediately exit the object and begin to drown. If the object they are walking through is damaged, the person will suffer no harm, but if the object is reduced to a size smaller than what the person could walk through using this ability, they will be expelled forcibly. It should be obvious that being a devil's fruit ability, it can not be used to walk in liquids or sea stone.

Great Swirl- As a standard swirling motion with a rapier, except a gust is produced which may knock an opponent off balance.

Walking thrust: Exposing the blade and wielding hand whilst using walk to attack from cover.
Double shot: A two hit combo using the Hokou Hokou fruit. The user kicks an object and enters it as it moves towards its target. Once the object hits the target, the user exits the object with a second attack.
