Just out of curiousity, does anyone else see the resemblance between Luffy and Ace's childhood friend and the pirate captain that healed Luffy?

You mean Law ? Uuuuh, no offence, but no.
Sabo might as well be dead. But, if he is alive in the present story, then he will definately play a role ... but I am rootin on the expectation that he will die in the next chapter(s) ;-/

Sabo will (A) die in a few chapter (B) show up later as like some plot device

He can't be Law, because that guy already has a name and everything, plus if I remember correctly Law grew up in West Blue.

But it's still somewhere different.
I think Sabo'll be important later. I mean, he's Luffys second brother, right?
But I think he'd be a marine, or at least not a pirate.

I am still rooting that Sabo will die, although I'd prefer him to become a revolutionary.
Btw, at the last page, that person that calls Dragon "babe" ... could it be ... Luffy's mother ? Just a speculation.

Its either luffy's mother or Ivankov in woman form. And as for Sabo, it would be freaking brilliant if he is still alive. And actually i have a feeling Luffy's moter in one of the yonkou, the one called Big mum?

And then I also got the wierd thought that it might be Ivankov in fem. form... He keeps calling everyone names.... And then I stopped thinking about it quickly...

And I speculate that Big Mom is Lola's mother.
I really think that there are good chances she is Luffy's mother.

His grandfather's a vice admiral, his father's the worlds most wanted, his (adopted) brother's Rogers son and his mother'd be a yonkou then. Rad!
