Finally! You are correct good sir. ^.^ Rob was a window washer, meaning he was on the OUTSIDE of the building to begin with. When he opened the window and jumped through it, he jumped INTO the building, meaning he didn't get hurt as he plummeted to the ground because he fell all of 3 feet or so and then took an elevator the ground floor.

| The three wisest sages in the land were brought before the king to see which of them were worthy to become the king's advisor. After passing many tests of cunning and invention, they were pitted against each other in a final battle of the wits.
Led blind-folded into a small room, the sages were seated around a small wooden table as the king described the test for them.
"Upon each of your heads I have placed a hat. Now you are either wearing a blue hat or a white hat. All I will tell you is this- at least one of you is wearing a blue hat. There may be only one blue hat and two white hats, there may be two blue hats and one white hat, or there may be three blue hats. But you may be certain that there are not three white hats."
"I will shortly remove your blind folds, and the test will begin. The first to correctly announce the colour of his hat shall be my advisor. Be warned however, he who guesses wrongly shall be beheaded. If not one of you answers within the hour, you will be sent home and I will seek elsewhere for wisdom."
With that, the king uncovered the sages' eyes and sat in the corner and waited. One sage looked around and saw that his competitors each were wearing blue hats. From the look in their eyes he could see their thoughts were the same as his, "What is the colour of my hat?"
For what seemed like hours no one spoke. Finally he stood up and said, "The colour of the hat I am wearing is . . ."

| Blue. As the others looked at him and could not determine the color of their own hats, his must have been blue.
The trick is this: if you look around and see only white hats, you know yours must be blue. If you see one white and one blue, it is still possible that yours is blue, but if no one else has claimed to have a blue hat then he must not be seeing two white hats. So with both people being unable to answer they must not have seen any white hats.

| nice one Irrational!
While exploring the wild highlands of Scotland, Crazy Rob was captured by hostile wood fairies. Smazze, the powerful chief of the fairies told him he could make one final statement which would determine how he would die. If the statement he made was false, he would be boiled in water. If the statement were true, he would be fried in oil. Crazy Rob found neither of this options too his liking, so he made a statement that got him out of this seemingly impossible situation. What is the one statement he could make to save himself?

| 10 candles stand burning in a dining room. A strong breeze blows in through an open window and extinguishes 2 of them. Checking back in on the candles later, you see that one more candle has gone out. To make sure no more flames go out, you shut the window. Assuming the wind doesn't extinguish any more candles, how many candles do you have left at the end of the day? | |

| Well if you let them continue burning all day, I assume by the end of the day all you have left is puddles of wax. | |

| I'm going to say you have two candles left, as a combination of Irrational's answer and the fact that two candles were blown out by the wind. However, there may be three as I'm not certain if the third was put out by a way other than burning down completely.
Edit: It was Irrational, not Admin, sorry. ^.^;;
