West Blue: Chaotic Vacation at Las Camp

Mick struggled to see what was happening in front of his eyes. then he saw the obviously powerful man lift the rich looking man into the air. Mick wondered if the man was doing this because he wanted to and he was next or if he was helping him. Mick shrugged the thoughts off and slowly walked towards the men but couldn't see the monkey man.

then the reflection hit his eyes. Mick knew exactly where he was. before he could start towards him he attacked the one strangling his buddy. Mick ran quickly, sheathing his stiletto and quickly grabbing two throwing knives. he quickly tossed them ahead of the monkey man to where he would be. Then took his Gladii out.

"GET DOWN!"

Man why does my head hurt? Desais thought as he groggily awoken from his nightmare. His eyes took awhile to adjust. At first everything was fuzzy and Desais thought he saw the sky and felt the ocean breeze. Instead Desais finally saw where he was, a cage. This alerted Desais right away, he began looking around the cell frantically. Then he felt something gripping around his wrists. He looked down at his cuffed hands and saw the handcuffs that had wrapped around them. They caused some cuts to appear around his wrists from the cuffs. Clearly they were put on tightly.

"Damn what the hell happened?" Desais said as he tried to search his memories for what caused this. All he remembered was going out and getting some supplies to fix the ship. Bits and pieces began coming back to him as he searched his memories. "Ugh, those bastards got the better of me....wait...did Taphie make it out? Or is she in a cell like I am..." Desais wondered as he looked outside the cell. "I wonder how Iken is fairing. I didn't see him with Taphie, they must have gotten split up or something." Desais thought. Lots of unanswered questions kept coming to Desais's mind and he aimed to find out what was going on.

[Mick and ????]

The pirate captain alerted by Mick's call was able to notice the boomerang in time. He lifted his sword and quickly deflected the sharp metal blade. The attack would have likely hit the pirate in the temple if he hadn't had been able to react in time. Turning toward the direction of which the attack came, the pirate found Monkey with Mick's throwing knives sunk into his arms. The wounds were fairly shallow, doing little damage. In a panic the foe pulled out the knives and threw them at his foes. He threw one of the knives at the pirate and the other at Mick.

As soon as he threw the blades he turned around and made a run for it. Monkey was quicker than a normal human however it wouldn't be enough for him to make his escape. The pirate quickly dropped Dragon before blocking the knife and giving chase. While Monkey was quick the pirate was even quicker, it didn't take the man long to catch up. Once in range the pirate knocked Monkey over the back of the head with the hilt of his sword. The slaver went down like a sack of potatoes that had been dropped on the floor. By this time Dragon had gotten to his hands and knees. Slowly, Dragon began crawling towards the darts that had fallen to the ground when the mysterious pirate sliced his weapon in half.

Mick was slightly disappointed in his throw but became enticed to know who the mysterious person was when he deflected the boomerang ad Knife. Mick jerked to te right to evade te knife thrown in distraught and succeeded. He watched as the man chased the monkey and hit him then come back to the fancy man.

Mick had already advanced forward towards him when the swordsman cut the mans weapon in half. Less trouble from him then. Probably best to let the obviously powerful man to do what he wanted for the time being.

The young woman panted as she ran across the sand, noticing a comotion coming from where she had left Iken. She could feel her heart beat pick up as she started to worry that the people who tried to kill them may have found him.

She pushed to start going faster, panting as he finally reached the bridge and gasped. It had been destroied. "Iken!" she gasped as she ran over to the bridge, looking around as she started to pray that he had woken up and walked away forgot this could have happened. Her mind was locked in the thought that her captain may have been traped under the bridge, she did not even noticed the fight that was happening above it as she started to grab rocks and pulled them away.

Dragon scrambled as Iken made his way towards the fear ridden foe.  The desperate slaver indiscriminately grabbed the poisoned needles and leaped back.  Dragon's breathing was heavy and obviously panicked, the close Iken came the worse it seemed to get.  He ran towards the woman that had just entered the battlefield.  He used the fact that she was desperately trying to find her captain under the rubble of the bridge.  Dragon placed the needles next to Taphie's throat and attempted to pull her in front of him to act as a shield. 
 
Iken's eyes widened when he seen the man head for Taphie.  He froze in his tracks, he didn't want to make a wrong move and have the man's nervousness get the best of the situation.  Iken's gaze fell as memories started to flood in.  He was on his ship as it was sailing away from an island.  There was a calm and relief to be getting away from it.  All of the sudden he ship came to a sudden halt throwing the passengers forward.  Iken hit the helm and slumped to the floor, as injuries he hadn't noticed before started to appear.  A ship of marines began to board and all of the sudden all hell broke loose.  Fear spread across Iken’s face in both the memory and at the current moment.  It was as if the memory version knew what was coming as well as the current version.
 
Iken gasped back to reality, looking upon the man who held the life of Iken's nakama in his hands.  He looked towards Mick and it seemed only a few seconds had passed.  For Iken it seemed like almost an hour.  Slowly the memories began to flow once again.  Iken was limping towards his firstmate.  The man was on the ground with a marine standing over him, there was blood everywhere...Cat's blood.  Iken lifted his blade meekly trying to attack the marine.  Unfortunately the marine lured Iken in before dodging the blow.  Iken's blade cut into his crewmate’s chest, slicing through both of his lungs.  Cat’s blood spirited out from the wound and out of his mouth.  Slowly, Iken watched his closest friend die.  It was as if time had stopped around him, but Cat’s death was happening in fast-forward.
 
Flashes of the past mixed inside of Iken’s mind with the events of the present.  Iken could see Cat’s blood soaked body lying in front of him, in between him and Dragon and his captive.  Once again it was as if the world around him came to a halt while he and the people he was with were moving in fast-forward.  “I promised you never again, didn’t I?” Iken asked the body that was only visible to him.  Iken looked up so his gaze met Dragon’s.  “NEVER AGAIN!”  Iken announced both loudly and firmly.   A presence of manifested will power burst forth from Iken.  The will was heavy, somewhere between a thick humidity and deep sea diving.  It was something that the weak willed would find literally physically sickening.

Dragon foamed at the mouth before he began to fall back.  Before he could even hit the ground, Iken was in between him and Taphie.  Iken’s blade was driven through Dragon’s midsection causing blood to pour out of his limp body.  With his powerful arms Iken took the hilt into both of his hands lifting both the blade and Dragon into the air.  Slowly the blade began to separate one half of Dragon’s body from the other until the blade had sliced all of the way through the now lifeless body.  The bloody mess that was Dragon’s mutilated body laid in front of Iken.  His blood had not only soaked the ground and Iken’s blade, it had also splattered on Iken’s face and upper body.  Iken’s eyes were cold, and his overall nature was much different from usual.  His dark side was showing, whether he meant to show it or not.

Desais decided to sit down after he was done looking around the room. "I wonder if there is anyone else stuck here like I am." Desais said as he attempted to use his devil fruit abilities even though he knew they wouldn't work. "Well it was worth a try, I guess" Desais said as he stared at a blank concrete wall. Desais hoped that the rest of his crew mates were fine and not captured like he was.

With the silence and the thoughts running rampant in his mind, Desais started getting angry, "What an IDIOT! Gah!!!" He yelled as he slammed his fist against the wall, causing blood to flow freely from his clenched fist. "I should have known something weird was going on! Man....how can I serve someone so strong as Iken, while being as weak as I am. Even with my new found abilities, I'm nowhere as strong as I should and need to be." Desais said as he sat down again with his hands held against his face in a bending over way. "Why was I even born..." Desais whispered as the depressing thoughts from his nightmare crept up into his head again. The tears began to flow.

An unbelievably powerful man indeed. Mick had faltered and landed on his back after the loud yell, not passing out but close. He layed there with thousands of questions racing threw his mind 'what the ell was that!?' And 'who in the heavens is this guy?' He tried to move and found it hard to do so, then got one and to move then another. He slowly sat back up and looked at Iken, the dead man in half and the strong pirate covered in blood.

"Oy, you.....you gotta teach me that." Mick rubbed te side f his head and looked at the destruction then attempted to stand, when successful he stood up fully. Then he noticed the girl, the guy was certainly lucky. "Erm...thanks for the help. I don't believe we've been introduced. I'm Mick Jango." Mick had approached the man, devoid of fear and extended a hand.

Taphie's paniced mind was in a broken state, she had been the one to hide Iken under the bridge, if he was dead it would be her fault, she would have no one to help her save Desais. "please be ok, please be ok" she kept whispering to hersef as she pulled at the rocks, but as she felt her body being pulled away from the rubbing and someone holding something to her neck she started to snap out of her shocked state.

Her mind floated back to reality as she saw what was happening, Relife filled her body as she saw Iken looking at her, but he seemed to be even more out of it than she had been. She tried not to move as the man behind her used her as a sheld from her own captain. She froze as he screamed out, her stomach contracting and wanting to make her turn over but the object to her thorat kept her up right.

With in a second though, she could feel her captain now behind her, the man's blood splattered on the ground by their feet. It was a good mintuie or two before she finally took a step used everything she had not to fall over. She turned slowly, staring at her captain now. She didn't know what to think, eariler he had been carrying her books, and now he was covered in a man's blood, a man whom he had unnessessarily sliced in half. "C-Captain" she said softly as she move to touch his shoulder, and hopfully calm him down.

Iken's body was tense and as stiff as a board when Taphie placed her hand on her shoulder.  Slowly Iken turned his head towards her.  Once his eyes met with hers and then Mick's his cold eyes and tension melted away.  His usual warmth and kind nature came back instantly.  Iken smiled at his crewmate before turned towards her and the other man standing near them.  The captain's nature was extremely strange, he was covered in blood and he was acting like it was nothing; like nothing had even happened.  
 
"I'm alright.  Everything will be fine." Iken said trying to reassure Taphie.  If there was one this about Iken, that didn't waver was his overwhelming amount of confidence.  It was as if nothing was new to him, like he had experienced it all before; at least once.  He was the kind of person that's make someone feel like everything was going to go right even in a dire situation, that is as long as you're not the one he's coming after.  From an outsiders perspective it'd truly seem to be true, but what about to someone a little closer to him?
 
"I just might have to." he said in response to Mick.  Iken shook Mick's hand with a strong and firm grip.  "The name is Iken Namikaze, Captain of the Steel Village.  It would appear a couple members of my crew have found themselves in the same situation they were trying to cast upon you." Iken said as he looked over towards Monkey.  With a flick of his wrist Iken dispelled a good amount of the blood that had been clinging to it.  Methodically Iken sheathed his sword and walked over to the foe that he had been eyeing just a moment before.  
 
Iken squatted down before he sat Monkey up, and instant before back handing him across the face.  There was an audial pop from the sheer strength of the smack, soon after that side of the foe's face swelled up and turned red.  The man awoke from his stupor with a panicked yelp.  For an instant the dazed foe thought it would be a good idea to try and resist.  That was, until Iken forced the man back and with one hand against Monkey's chest overpowered him; asserting his dominance.  
 
"Now, where are they keeping the captives?" Iken demanded.  A moment went by when a glimpse of defiance flickered through Monkey's eyes.  A quick blow the other side of Monkey's face with the palm of his hand caused a similar reaction to the first strike.  Blood spewed out when the foe coughed.  "Look, I really don't care who you are or what you do for a living.  Your life, whether its put out like a candle between two spit covered fingers or left to grow or wither as you please really doesn't make a difference to me.  All I care about right now, are the members of my crew in the custody of your comrades." he said pressing a finger into the man's chest.  Pulling a small length of his blade out from its sheath, Iken ran his hand along the blade before pushing the blade back in.  "Don't get me wrong, I will do whatever it takes to make you talk.  I'm not a nice or a good person, and I'm certainly not above torture.  No matter how much I have to slice, beat, and squeeze the information out of you; I will." Iken said as he squeezed blood from the hand he ran over the blood onto Moneky's face.  "Don't think you'll get off easy by dying either.  I'll have my doc back there keep you just alive enough to feel what I'm doing to you." he said throwing a directional thumb at Taphie.  
 
Monkey's eyes widened as a look of absolute terror began to take ahold.  Slowly he began to realize Iken wasn't bluffing.  The man’s eyes sank, he knew he only had one option left.  Iken's only lead to where his friends were being held began positioning something inside his mouth with his tongue.  With his back set of teeth, Monkey bit down on something that caused him to convulse and foam at the mouth.  Iken leaped back at the man's strange reaction, even the pirate that had seemed to have seen it all seemed genuinely surprised.  Looking away, Iken didn't even bother checking on his foe's condition.  Pushing off of his knees with his hands Iken stood back up.  There was no other option, he headed back towards the town in which Taphie he were almost killed.

Cole hearing the new inmates in the cell next to his speech feeling like he did and wanting to make people smile. He then says some of the last words his mother said to him "To live your life. Live it free, live it to the fullest". Taking a deep breath he continuous from his heart "That is why people are born people try their hardest to live on make each moment count until they die". Being in this place for 3 years does a lot to a person but Cole still is living his life waiting until he is one day hopefully freed from this horrible. Luckily for Cole, "Discord" had been taken over for most of the worst part here. Over the years Cole had found out that "Discord" was just a mirror of himself, he shared  many of Coles Hobbies and likes he was just a lot more Ruder and meaner then Cole was. But still Cole had started to think off him as his Brother. Cole could not count the times that Discord wanted to fight against the people that brought him here but still Cole wanted to  have an ace up his sleeve he did not what them to know he had the Inju Inju no Mia powers he had hid over his 3 year stay here waiting for the right monument to strike. This was hard at time when they whip him or called him horrible names but Cole held on to his temper, Making sure "Discord" did not make him loss his 1 ace. For how they split up the time in the body mostly when "Discord" did the hard labor and the punishment that depressed Cole. While Cole did the talking to the other inmates making friends and connections in the Las camp mine. Sadly most of these friends and connections broke or died after a few months at the camp. After thinking for a while Cole said in a glad as he can be in this situation "My name is Cole what is yours".

"Hey, Iken!" Mick jogged to catch up, falling into step with him,"these bastards attacked me and I'm coming with." He sternly stated,"they interrupted my happy hour." He added. This guy had some serious power behind him, the strength to cut a bridge and with such a sword...mick needed one of those. He reached behin his person and pulled a flask out, unscrewing the top and drinking some of the brown liquor inside.

"Now'en, where we goin?"

She moved her hand as he calmed down after she touched him, watching him as he had a quick change in attitude. She was visibly shaking, rather terrified of her captain at the moment as he was coated in blood and seemed calm as could be now. She nodded a bit as he said everything was fine.

Her eyes didn't move from him as she watched him move to the other men after introducing himself to the one whom seemed to be on their side. She blinked as some how iken knew that the others were in trouble.

She gulped as he started to speak to the man whom had been attacking them, her face a bit pale when he mentioned how she could keep him alive and awake for the entire time Iken would try to get information out of him. It wasn't until Iken started to head back to the town that Taphie snapped out of her shock and ran up to him, still a bit out of it. "i-iken, i-i'm sorry i l-left you a-at the b-bridge" she said softly, feeling terrible "i-i tried to head back to the boat, b-but when i got there Desais was b-being attacked, I-I tried to help b-but" she let out a ragged breath as she tired not to break down from this, she was not used to this type of...action to say.

Desais heard the man say something. The words touched his heart and soul. It felt as though his own mother had said them herself. The dark nightmares slowly crept away. Although they still stayed, the darkness had lessened. Desais went up to the bars of his cell and looked over to the cell mate next to his. He couldn't really see him but he knew he was there. The shadow Cole cast was all Desais needed to know for certain that someone was there. Although shadows do dart around at night. Some not human, while others unknown.

Desais reached out his hand. "Desais,and why are you in here?" Desais asked as he was curious to know. If he knew why the other guy was there, then it may be exactly why he was there. Desais started to feel like himself again. Just by the fact that another being was there with him, made him feel better. But that did not mean he let his guard down.

Cole reaches out his hand to shakes Desais hand. He then said "I have no idea really I have been here for 3 years now i have a few idea why ideas why I would be here but for some reason the best reason is not true if it was" Cole Stop for a minute to make sure no guards would hear him. After making sure no guards could hear him "I would have some Sea Stone cuffs on me". Letting Desais no he had Devil Fruit could ruin his hole plan but for some reason he felt like he could trust Desais. Cole continues "All I know is that I got hit over the head by something hard from behind and when I came to I was in a cell". He continued "My 2nd best guess is that and the most likely is that I was not from here and they need some more slave labor for the mines". It was the most likely thing Cole had heard story about the Las Camp Mine from Pirates staying at the Inn. Cole then asked Desais "Let me tell you a story, a story of a young boy and he journey into his insanity" He said the last part in Discords voice. He told Desais about his dad about how he grew up on his story of adventure and piracy. Cole told him about growing up in the inn with his mother and about learning about the inns secret and his helping his mother and learning about how to be a pirate. He told him about his 16 birthday and about he got his devil fruit. Discord took over when he started talking about his 18 birthday and his mother hanging and about Discord 'birth'. Cole took back over to tell Desais about Hydro and the Leviathan pirates and his time with the crew. Cole felt good about telling his story it felt good about getting this off his chest. One thing Cole was wondering was who is Iken and how could he comand so much respect from his men. Cole asked "I have a question who is Iken you said you where not powerful enough to fight with him?"

Iken took Taphie's hand and held it firmly. "Don't worry about what's in the past. We have more than enough to worry about in front of us. You did what you thought was right, in going to Desais for help. I'm just happy that when you had the opportunity, you didn't up and abandon us. To me, the loyalty and courage you've shown outshines any physical short comings. Besides, if my doctor is out of commission; who do you think is going to sow by guts back in?" Iken said jokingly. Iken smiled gently towards his crewmate. "I'll get Desais back. No matter what!" he said with confidence.

As Mick, Taphie and Iken walked the short distance from the bridge into the town; Iken began to think. He was trying to remember everything Monkey and Dragon had been talking about while Iken was under the bridge. Even though Iken was there for the entire conversation, he had been unconscious only moments before. Thanks to that fact, Iken was in a haze while the foes above had been talking or rather gloating towards Mick. Iken began to remember something about mines and taking the slaves down into them once they're captured.

As the trio was heading into town, Iken glanced back towards Mick. "Make sure you really want to do this. In all likelihood we're going to be greatly outnumbered while inside enemy lines. I am...content." Iken said trying to find the right words. "I am content, with dying to try and save my nakama." he said trying to warn of the possible dangers. "Although I suppose, a few years back...I would have been content dying into a drunken bar fight too." Iken said with a cocky smile.

A quick look around at the geography told Iken that the mines weren't carved into a mountain. There was nothing higher on the island than the buildings standing throughout the town. The second clue that Iken noticed was the stone, it was everywhere. It was built into the buildings, the roads and even the bridge he had destroyed. A quarry, it meant that somewhere on the island there was a big old hole in the ground. This was a good thing, at least when it came to having to find the thing. First off it would be outside of town and there wouldn't be any trees over that area, only around it. This meant the whole first half of the island wouldn't fit the description.

As he walked down the well-kept roads in the town, he realized the docks on the front side or the "tourist" side of the docks didn't have as well kept roads. To haul the tons of stone they needed to would need prime roads. This lead Iken to believe there was a second, hidden docking system somewhere on the back side of the island. On the map he used to get to the island, Iken remembered seeing that there were sharp rocks marked by the backside of the island. Iken wasn't sure if that was true and that they had built a path through them for defense or if the rocks were a rumor they used to keep ships away from that side of the island.

Distracted by the thoughts racing through his head, Iken didn't notice all of the attention the small ground was garnering. Walking through a town like Las Camp, while being so absent minded about his surroundings would be a recipe for disaster for most. Luckily enough, Iken wasn't just any old pirate. The slavers waited in the shadows of the back alleys waiting for Iken to slip up, trying to avoid a direct confrontation at all costs. Iken was a threat by himself, little lone while he had two allies by his side. By the time the group had reached the back end of the town the slavers were forced to play their hands.

A group of opponents stood in front of the Steel Village, blocking the path to their captive nakama. There was a woman with long blonde hair and glasses that appeared to be dressed as a waitress or a hostess for some fancy restaurant. She had a coiled up rope or whip tied to her hip, it had thorns every few inches. Beside her, stood what appeared to by a bar keep. He had jet black hair and a mustache. On his shoulders; green tinted chains loosely hung around the backside of his neck down to his hips where two holsters held a pistol each. Behind the first two stood, four large men that were dressed in business attire. Finally to the far right stood a pair of hammer wielding thugs that Taphie would recognize all too well. They had been bandaged up, but the signs of battle were still evident.

Desais stood there listening to Cole's story. It was evident that Cole trusted Desais, very well in fact. Just in the mere moments of hearing Desais's depressing acts, he had truly trusted Desais with the tale of his life. Cole may trust Desais, but Desais didn't trust Cole for a moment. With the small amount of people that Desais met when he started his journey, he learned that trusting someone could very much cost him his life. Not only his, but those that he cares for. Desais was both glad that he learned this lesson but also sad that it had to be learned the hard way. During Cole's tale, Desais thought of what he was going to do to get out of here. The sea stone handcuffs weren't making it any easier for him to think. But just as he about got lost in his thought, he was pulled back by the question Cole asked him.

The question basically asked who Iken was and why Desais felt like he wanted to be useful to him. It was practically a question of his life. Although not a big portion, but an important one. Desais wasn't sure he should answer a question like that to some sort of stranger. Even though they were both locked up, it could very well give Cole the answers he needs to give to others. "Well Iken is......he's just a guy I travel with. Nothing more, nothing less. Anyways, do you know of a way out of here or at least have an idea of how to get out of here. I need to return to what I was doing. It's very important." Desais said as he suddenly realized that he may have said too much.

The smile that usually is hanging around Desais's face has all but faded. But he wasn't about to give up. Desais ran to the back of his cell then sprinted forward, colliding into the bars that held him in. Desais kept doing that, even though blood began to drip down his body. A spark ignited within him that told him he must escape. Even if it is futile, he needed to get out. Or at least alert the guards so they would try to stop him.

Cole heard Desais ramming against the bars. He knew it was pointless try to escape without help. Cole could not take someone getting hurt when their was something he could do so he decided to Discord do the talking knowing he had a more demanding voice "Stop it you idiot You will not be able to escape with out help there is a way. My name is Discord Cole's Other side he is pretty messed up so please stop". Discord check if he had stop it seemed like he had so he continued "The only way out is with some more help i can tell you lied about Iken. The way you spoke about him befor I knew he was someone important I can also guess you're a Pirate because half of the people we met are. So stop your lying and tell us the truth because if you this Iken is strong enough and care enough i am willing to bet he will get you out of here so tell me dam truth so i can help you you seem like you are in a lot of pain while I enjoy it Cole does not and he is the only thing i care about all he wants is to get out of here and become a pirate so he n find a place free of the marines and so i can cause so good old CHAOS" Discord said the last part in a tone that would make most people fear him for life. Cole just got control back from Discord and said "I am sorry for discord he is my Hate and Madness he is getting very bored here and just want to get out also I will help in any way I can in helping you get out if you can please help me get out with you guys and maybe let me join your crew." He really wanted a group of people to call my Nakama." Cole said the last part in tears he was so alone all he ever wanted since his mother died was a Nakama of his own. He wondered if there were any guard close enough to hear he checked around to make sure their was still no guards where near enough to hear him.

"Oh now this is scary, you embarrassments took time to figure out where to stand to seem te most dangerous?" Mick taunted, taking a drink then putting hi flask away. He reached for both stilettos and in a swift movement unsheathed them in a small flourish. They had three outnumbered but that Iken was something else tougher THAN nails and probably as dangerous as a sea king to normal people. He was glad he was on the pirates side of things. Mick remembered the girl was still here as well, he didnt exactly know what she did but hopefully, if she kept company with Iken, she was skilled, his gaze traveled to Iken. The first move would have to be made by him to distract, then Mick could dash in and start helping.

Taphie looked up to Iken as he took her hand and spoke ot her, Helping her calm down quickly and smiling softly at the joke he made at the end of his speach. She nodded as he said they would get Desais back no matter what, smiling brighty as her confidence buit and crawled out of it's hole of fear. She was no longer shaking once they started to head toward town agian. She still didn't know where they where going to go, but Iken seemed to have a good idea on how to find them.

She stay'd close but her mind started to think. What was she going to do when the time came to fight. She had no weapon on her, no way to protect herself or others, she was exposed from any angle with her clothing, she did not know what she was going to do. But as she thought about it, people came out to block their path. She blinked and looked at them before noticing the two near the back and stepping back a bit, gulping as she did. She looked up to Iken, whispering something to him with a soft and slighty frighten'd tone "t-the two m-men with the hammers" she said softy and looked back to them "t-they are the ones who took Desais" she said and bit her lip softly.

Slavers:

Just by looking at them, Iken was able to get a sense of their strength.  While none of them were all that strong alone, they were a somewhat formidable force when combined.  At that point Iken was glad that Dragon and Monkey weren't going to come and join up with them.  Even though Iken believed strongly in quality over quantity, with those two added; it could have easily shifted the favor to the slaver group.  There was a sort of dead silence as the two groups sized each other up, one could hear the proverbial pin drop.  That was until Mick broke the silence with a cocky jab at the group standing in front of them.  Unknowingly or not, Mick helped to cut through then tension that had built.  Still neither side wanted to make the first move, save for readying one's weapon(s).  

He could hear her swallow and feel her hesitation even though she was behind him.  Taphie took a step back before as she told Iken about the two hammer wielding men.  They had hurt Desais, taken him, and made him a slave.  Not only had they harmed Desais, they caused Taphie to slink back.  If Iken had a shred of mercy for the slaver group, it had violently burned away within the raging inferno that was his rage.  Rage from taking his best friend and rage from making his special nakama quiver was a powerful one not seen since the time Cat met his fate.  The look on Iken's face spelled doom for the group in front of them.

Iken took his reserve sword and unlatched it from his belt.  The slight movement caused the group of slavers to flinch almost unanimously.  Iken held the sheathed sword in front of Taphie within arm’s reach.  Taking a deep breath before closing his eyes for a brief moment, Iken regained his cool and calm composure.  "It'll be just like we practiced on the way here." He said to reassure Taphie she had what it takes.  Iken took his sword by the hilt while taking a step forward, instigating the battle.

Desais heard Cole talking but did not stop slamming into the bars. He was determined to escape. For some reason a fire began to burn within him. The pain he was feeling, was nothing compared to the pain he felt for letting himself get caught and letting his crew down. Discord, the so called "other half" of Cole talked and it just enraged Desais. "Why should I even trust you?!? So what you told me your life story!! I don't trust you or anyone I have met or will ever meet right off the bat!! Who the hell do you think I am??? A sell out?!!" Desais yelled as loud as he could. The fire that burned within him intensified, as well as his pounding on the bars. "This pain!!! This pain is nothing!!" Desais screamed as the blood began to pour freely. Blood sprayed the bars and the floor he walked on. I'm sick of feeling sorry for myself! This life that I lead, it will end at some point. Why waste it worrying about the past. Desais thought. Hearing Cole's pity towards Desais just made suddenly get more infuriated with himself.

The rage kept on erupting the fire within his belly. But even with all the strength Desais had, the bars did not move. This, however, did not slow him down. Although, eventually the blood loss will get to him, and he knew that. He was determined to get out of the cell, one way or the other. The blood dripped from Desais's clenched teeth.

Seeing someone in pain both Emotional and physical Was too much for Cole and he started to go back into the depth of his mind only saying mentally to Discord "Please stop him from hurting himself". Discord knowing what to do to make him stop. He summons ribbons to and wraps them around Desais and harden them to stone and told him "Stop this Cole has open up to you he has not done that in 3 years he would be insane if I was not here and he thought from hearing the hurt in your voice you could understand his pain but you are so much of an idiot that you can not see another hurt soul he saw his own mother get hung after years of being close to her she was one of the only people that truly loved him sure the other pirates help him and taught him but after his mother got hanged not one of them helped him they left him out or even offered to even take him on to their crew he was going to be alone so alone they told him was to weak they told him he was worthless but one thing that Cole never did was feel sad for himself he only cared about his mother. When his mother was hung i was born i was his wrath his anger his darkness but you know what Cole never once made me feel like I was not cared for he cares for ever one so much yet he keeps so much wrapped up inside that sometimes he does thing that will even hurt himself rather then see others hurt he even told me sometime he took the whipping for punishment when it would my fault so shut your dam mouth or else Cole will even be able to save you from my wrath." Cole taking back control he soften and hides them under his shirt saying "I am sorry for what discord said he only looks out for the best for me so please stop hurting yourself this is not pity this is not a lie so please Just stop hurting yourself please I do not want another person I know die, I know I just met you but my mother always said this 'Cole you can tell if a person is good or not by their loyalty to their crew' and seeing you ram though bar it makes me know that you care for them I can tell that you care for them I can hear the hurt in your voice i know who or what hurt you but if you crew is powerful enough and care enough for you they will make it here and by telling how you are ramming into the bars I can tell you this if they do not come here with in the next 2 days the next chance I get I will grab you and bust us out of here no matter the cost." Cole dose on more check to make sure there was no guards and their still where not any.

Mick flourished his right blade, then his left in his hand, assessing the situation made it a little difficult for him to think they would win but Iken was too strong to not believe in, he had killed both monkey and dragon in mere moments. Mick cracked his neck to the left then right and began walking just after Iken, a determined expression on him. The bastards prayed on pirates, made them slaves in mines? Well he was going to help kill them, see if they keep doin it then. They outnumbered the threw but Iken defiantly upped the anty a bit for them. Mik picked up his pace in a energetic manner, with a snarl on his lips.

Talliphan Teracole had done many things involving a human body before. She had sword large wounds closed, removed bullets from body parts and even taking differnt organs out of people, she had drugged men women and children, but never for a harmfull act. Any pain she may have caused someone in all her life, was to help them in the long run. She had never been in a real fight for her life, even when she was captured by the other pirates she wasn't able to put up much of a fight anyway. She had never even slapped someone for yelling out an inappropiate cat call at her.

Her eyes looked up to Iken as he uncliped a sword from his belt and handed it over to her. Her had fear in her eyes but a calmness as well when he told her "just like we practiced". She gave him a slight nod, moving the sword to her own belt and putting her head on it, she calmed her breathing and looked at the group of slavers, standing right behind Iken and at his side ready to fight to get their friend back, She wasn't able to protect him when she had the chance, but she was going make sure he was safe when she saw him agian.
