PostSubject: West Blue: Chaotic Vacation at Las Camp    West Blue: Chaotic Vacation at Las Camp Icon_minitimeSun May 18, 2014 3:50 pm

Las Camp was a relatively large island, adorned with large stone buildings. The buildings were almost castle like, and covered an entire towns worth of area. Outside the stone brick town a massive quarry sits dug deep into the ground. The main export and what the entire town was built out of was a light grey and durable stone unique to the region of West Blue. Thanks to the quarry the island has a massive and diverse port. The port attracts seafarers of all kinds which allows the town to support a diverse market that could fill even the most exotic needs.

A ship came sailing through the mist early one morning. Battle damage decorated the outside of the ship like scabs on a scurvy ridden sea dweller. The ship reached the docks of Las Camp and a tension was instantly relieved. Having taken on so many extra members without a decent cook, the crew and passengers hadn't had a healthy meal since the supplies from the enemy ship ran out. In reality it had only been a few days, however it was enough to increase the tension among the passengers and the crew.

Being a battle and travel hardened veteran of the West Blue, Iken was no stranger to the kind of conditions he was in at the time. Eating leather like meat with nothing but a bit of salt and water. To be perfectly honest, Iken had survived much worse in his times on the seas. The captain of the ship remained stoic and solid the entire time, never once losing his edge. A mental toughness had been developed over his years on the sea. For how strong Iken was physically he was more so mentally.

Kaizen walked around the ship eating the last of his part of the provisions. Kaizen was not about to eat leather for food, so he decided to take his time with the food he had saved inside the ship beside him. With careful planning Kaizen managed to avoid the shameful act of eating leather with a little extra weakness from the lack of food compared to everyone else. Kaizen stroke his hair to judge the amount of dryness on it. It felt dry, and frail, it showed, in a way, how weak he was. Kaizen stood up and walked to the edge. The ship he hijacked was still tied with the crew. With the island in front of the crew Kaizen smirked and waved at the men, and woman, in the ship. He left a note left specifically to Leonardo with the following message:

"If you have an unsettled matter make sure to ask for 'Shadow Snake' in that area." Kaizen left it in clues so anyone reading it wouldn't have an idea on the actual message. Kaizen walked towards the edge of the ship and jumped on the boat he had grabbed earlier. Now that he reached an island he'll just have to leave in a passenger ship to another island. Preferably one without much troubles. If he found an underworld ship he'll be able to pay the people with his assassinations instead of money. It's safe to say that his name is at least good enough, after his tournament incident, to warrant a free ride to a nearby island. All he has to do is kill another man.

And that's exactly what Kaizen did. He dropped the note behind him with a piece of rock on top so it doesn't fly from the wind. He took the boat and made it to the island. From there he talked to some people, gave some clues, and managed to find a small ship with a captain. His only task is to take care of some pirates that have been causing him trouble. Nothing serious, and it gives him what he wants.

Over the next few days Leonardo had grown extremely antsy.  He was unaccustomed to being the same spot for a long time.  There had not been much to do in the form of entertainment and no equipment to fish with.  Leo was growing more hyperactive and generally obsessive compulsive. Counting everything he could find to count and when the numbers didn't be end being prime ones he would get angry.  One might have thought he was paranoid or had a general fear of being of sailing but neither was the case.  He was new to the west blue and didn't know much about having come on one of his whims.  Having been seated on the stern Leo was the first to see land and was so ecstatic that he jump up in to the air and was about to fly off before realizing that he wasn't alone.  Even though he had now met everyone he still didn't let them know his secret.

Leonardo had been taking a leak on the other side of the boat when Kaizen had left so he didn't get the opportunity he was look for to talk however he manage to find the note that was left behind.  One of the things that he wanted to learn was how to locate those areas.  But no matter at the moment there were more pressing matters. Food, map, and then work he a few objectives in mind.  If he picked the right spot to eat he could get more accomplished.  Leonardo was a man who craved information and right now in this new sea he was sorely lacking.  It wasn't until finally stepping foot on land that Leonardo managed to relax it was like an instant rejuvenation.  Then upon seeing Iken's face he realized it was the same face that he had all along he had not let the circumstances rattle him one bit.  This reached more than being rescued and the few physical feats that he had seen.  Approaching Iken Leo's typical frowned expression softened ever so slightly just for a bit enough for Iken to see, but not with intention of him seeing it.  "Well Iken I can't say that its been fun... But you have impressed me none the less.  I well renew my ticket for awhile longer.  And I'll help you navigate those rough water ahead."  This was his way of accepting Ikens a invitation from a few days back.  And although he would never speak down about his own skills Leonardo had some growing to do in the navigation department.  And although this happened to align with a need on Iken's ship Leonardo was taking on the task of improving his knowledge for the sake of Steel Village.  An idea had been running through his head lately on how exploit his ability.  Not to mention that that with Leo's tendency to wonder off he didn't want to get lost.

Taphie had been relaxing on the deck, laying down and enjoying the warm sun as the felt the waves crash into the boat making it sway. She was wearing her normal outfit, planning on possibly cleaning it soon as she had a clean place to do such. She sat up slowly as she could hear everyone getting up and moving around. She sat up, looking out and blinking as they came to an island.

"oh~ finally, I wonder if they had any book shops there" she said as she stood up and stretched, her long pink hair fixed and looking nice as her skin had gotten a nice tan from being out on the water. She looked around, wondering if anyone would be willing to explore the town with her.

Desais had been passed out for quite some time. He finally awoke and had saw the sun was arisen. How long have I been asleep.. Desais wondered as he got out of bed. He suddenly noticed something weird with his leg. It seemed something was sticking out of it. Desais decided it should be removed and tugged on it. It slid out with no problems, then Desais got a good look at it. A bone? Desais thought as he suddenly was alerted. "WHAT THE HELL!!!" Desais screamed as he jumped up. He noticed that his leg was fine though. Although he did pull a bone from it. Calming down a bit, Desais searched through his memories. He remembered being in a huge fight against a guy with extremely thick armor. They won the battle and retrieved their spoils. A thought raced through his head. "Oh yeah! I ate a devil fruit. It must have the same abilities as that other guy. Hmmmmm what is the name of it..." Desais thought as he tried to remember. Then without another second the answer popped into his head. "The bone bone fruit!" Desais said as he began to mess with his new found ability.

After his little enjoyment, Desais walked out of the captain's quarters and inhaled a large amount of oxygen. "Ah!" Desais said as the air rushed to meet his face and a sense of comfort appeared across his face. "Sure feels good to be awake. Huh? Oh look an island!" Desais said as he noticed the island approaching. "I can buy some supplies to fix the ship up there!" Desais jumped with joy as he headed to the edge of the ship awaiting for it to dock.

PostSubject: Re: West Blue: Chaotic Vacation at Las Camp    West Blue: Chaotic Vacation at Las Camp Icon_minitimeWed May 21, 2014 7:59 pm

Iken was steering the ship into the port when Leonardo came to him.  Leo spoke to Iken about the experience and how he planned to stay onboard for the time being.  Listening to the man, Iken pulled the ship up to the docks.  Once the ship was snug against the dock, Iken threw the anchor overboard.  The large metal device hit the water causing a deep bloop sound as well as water to shoot up and then rain down.

"I'm glad you've decided to stay." he said with a smile.  I assume we'll be here for at least a week and a half to properly repair the ship.  In the meantime, if Desais doesn't need help; try to enjoy yourself a little." Iken said turning towards his chambers and walking towards them.

"Hey Desais!" Iken yelled.

Iken made his way from the helm to his chambers were Desais had been staying since the last battle.  It was imperative that he stay in a safe environment while his wounds healed, however that had now passed.  Desais was completely healed up for the most part or at least he seemed to be.  As Iken was about to enter the room, the door opened and Desais came out.  He took a deep breath and talked about going to buy supplies for the ship.  It was pretty coincidental considering Iken was about to go get him and have him buy supplies.  Iken stopped in front of Desais and pulled something from his pocket.

"Desais, I'm going to need to you go and buy some supplies to repair the ship.  We'll be here for a week and a half...maybe two." Iken said when he looked at the hole in the deck.  Iken took the stack of belli he had retreated from his pocket and handed it to Desais.  "Finish up the ship as soon as possible.  We'll stay for a couple more days to give you some r&r time, but we shouldn't stay in one spot for too long." he mentioned as a side note.

"It's too bad Kaizen left earlier, we could have used him to list to the people to keep an ear open for any marine activity.  Oh well....I suppose we'll have to manage on our own." he mumbled to himself as he turned away from Desais.

Iken was looking over the deck to make sure there wasn't anything he had forgotten about.  The only thing he could think of was going over to talk to Taphie, the crew's new doctor.  Iken walked over to the nearly nude sun baked woman.  A hint of red came to the captain's face as he approached her.  The way she dressed always got a small reaction out of Iken, mostly involuntary ones.

"Mind to escorting your captain to get a drink?" asked Iken with a big grin on his face.

Startled by Iken, Desais jumped a bit. "Well good morning to you to captain." Desais said with a laugh. It was a bit odd that his captain was thinking the exact thing he was thinking. He smiled a big smile as Iken asked him to repair the ship. "Ya I was just thinking that it could use a little bit of R&R." Desais said as he looked at the giant hole in the ship and back at Iken. Desais gratefully took the belli from Iken and started walking off the ship. He stopped at the edge, turned around and smiled. "Now don't have too much fun you two!" Desais laughed as he turned his back towards them and waved his hand back at them. Desais was definitely excited to be somewhere where people didn't want to kill him......yet. Desais wandered through the town and looked at all the people. It was a definite change in scenery.

Desais stomach growled as he stopped walking. "Man am I hungry...." Desais said as he smelled some delicious food cooking. "But the ship comes first! I must repair the ship!" Desais said as he ran as fast as he could to the shipyard. As he got there he breathed heavily from the loss of breath. "Some.....repair.....tools....for.....our.....ship.....please...." Desais said as he held out the belli Iken had given him. Desais was bent over and panting a bit with his left hand on his left knee.

Taphie smiled as everyone got ready and started heading out onto the land. She grinned as she fixed her clothes before turning as she heard her captain speak to her. She gave him a bright grin back as he asked if she would join him to get a drink. "I'd love to" she said politely and laughed softly as Desais ran by, telling them not to have to much fun.

She turned to her captain and nodded "lets go then, i was wondering if it would be alright for me to get some type of medical books? I lost my collection of them when you saved me from the other ship, and I've been dying to read something knew" she said softly and smiling and rubbing the back of her neck softly, feeling embressed to ask but having nothing but the clothes on her back sense they found her.

By no means could one call Leo a modest dresser.  Most everything he wore screamed wealth and status.  Some habits never die. But this time he was a little more reserved.  His cape had been left behind and his goggles had been exchanged for sunglasses.  But he still kept those on his person. Today he wore his grey pants, black dress shirt, and shoes.
Leonardo wasn't exactly dressed to work.  But he looked back at Desais anyway to make it seem as though he at least tried.  But when he wasn't asked to stay Leo quickly ran off before it could be reconsidered.  He works tirelessly.  He only recently woke up and has eaten much of anything. Perhaps that's why...  Snapping out of that train of thought he made a mental note that he would consider getting some extra food.

As soon as he was far enough from the dock he started walking at a normal pace. Looking around he was impressed by the masonry.  These buildings were quite strong everyone of them looking like they were apart of a fortress.  These weren't like the wood buildings he could easily rip apart. Gritting his teeth. He turned his head towards the smell of food.  Taking a long wiff he lowered his glasses to the bridge of his nose and peeked out above them to get clearer view. From the exterior it didn't appear to be a shit hole.  Deciding it was acceptable he went inside.

[Desais]

An old man was sitting behind the desk of for the reception area of the material warehouse for shipwright supplies. He peeked up over his paper to see Desais bent over in exhaustion. The old man sat there for a moment looking Desais over for a moment before he spoke. "What kind of supplies? Wood? Tools?" questioned the old man.

He was wearing a green sun visor that let his trimmed gray hair show. Below the hat he had on a pair of round black glasses that had a gold chain which connected it to the pocket on his vest. The vest he wore was vertically striped purple and gold which he wore on top of the green button up shirt. His shirt hugged him down to below the counter where Desais' view of the man would have been cut off. Standing up the man walked out from behind the counter and looked through an open door leading to the back area. He turned back around and walked in front of the counter towards Desais. The old man's shirt was tucked into a pair of dark brown trousers that lead down to the man's polished black shoes. He wore a mustache the same color as his hair, the man was clearly in his late sixties.

[Leonardo]

Leonardo walked into a bar...or rather a restaurant with a rather expensive looking bar set up. As he made his way in from outer lobby he was met by a receptionist standing behind a wooden podium. The wood had a red and black luster on it even with the lights turned down, dimmed for the mood. A lovely looking blood woman eyed Leonardo trying to determine whether he belonged at their establishment or not. After an awkward moment or two of silence the woman decided that his clothes were good enough for him to be a paying patron. Her delicious ruby lips formed a small complacent smile that she directed towards Leonardo.

She stepped out from behind the podium to reveal a ruffled white dress shirt unbuttoned down to the third from the top. The blouse was tucked into a form fitting black skirt which went down to a few inches above knee level. She wore black stockings that ran all the way down to her black and embroidered with a gold material on the edges. The woman brushed her chest length hair from over the front of her shoulder so it hung down her back.

"Do you have a reservation? If not...we can get you a seat at the bar right away. “She offered with a low, yet still effeminate voice. The voice was a little rough, almost like that of a smoker. She pointed towards an area thick with cigar smoke. It was the usual bar and stool set up, but the material they were made out of was in another class altogether. A few round men in suits sat on the stools smoking and chatting away about various business ventures.

[Iken and Taphie]

Iken lead Taphie down the gangplank towards the docks below. As the two walked towards the town, the sailors getting off their vessels from long shifts on the ocean and those who were unloading cargo; stopped their activities to stare and make a commotion about the attractive and nearly nude Taphie. They whistled and hurled inappropriate comments towards the pair as they made their way down the docks.

Before the odd couple had made their way off of the docks, one of the braver or possibly more foolish men ran towards the two. The man’s eyes were filled with ill intent as he tried to cop a feel as Talliphan walked by. Iken quickly intercepted the man with in the blink of an eye. Breaking the seal on his sheath, Iken’s black blade glistened in the sunlight. Distracting most from the ominous glance Iken was shooting towards his foe. The man slammed into Iken, before falling backwards onto the hard dock below. On the ground the man looked in horror at Iken as if he was some kind of demon. Soon after a large wet spot formed between the man’s legs right before he foamed at the mouth and passed out. When Iken turned around a number of dock workers within Iken’s previous glance area suffered the same effects, some falling into the drink.

Desais pulled the belli back for a moment. He stood there deep in thought on what he would need to repair the ship with. "Hmmm well I will need a hammer, a bunch of nails, some sheets of metal, and wood of course." Desais thought as his eyes peered around the store. I do have a large hole to fix up but not to mention the side the ship hit the other ship with. There might be some damage there as well. Best just to get as much as I can. Not sure when we may dock at an island again. Desais thought as he turned back to the man.

"I will take all that you can give me. Not sure how long of a journey we have but its best to be prepared for anything." Desais said with a smile as he handed the old man the belli. Hmmm maybe after this I can stop by a couple of other stores to get some supplies. My body is kind of exposed to attacks. Maybe some armor or a few weapons. Desais suddenly became lost in thought about other things he should do.

As Leo stepped inside he his sunglasses from the collar of his shirt.  It was a good thing that he went with this outfit, they apparently had a dress code.  But when the woman had took her sweet time deciding whether Leonardo fit the bill of someone who was dressed well enough he was deeply insulted.  If she had out right refused him there would have been a blood bath that resulted in all of the staff being killed.  However the insult didn't go that far neither would Leo's vengeance. Returning her smile he eyed her up and down remembering every detail.

Leonardo had never had a reservation anywhere.  His name alone could have cleared out any number of tables or restaurants that he or his family required.  Well it wasn't so much the name the common folk didn't know the Dragon family names.  But it was who he was and their bottomless wealth and influence.  This woman wouldn't have likely believed Leo is or rather was a World Noble anyway.  But he didn't need such titles anymore he would get everything wanted in this world through his own building up of influence or force.

"No, I don't have reservation. There bar will be just fine." Biting his lower lip softly and holding just for a moment.  His facial expression changed from more than just a smile it was lust. "Join me for a drink."  Leo was not forceful. Nothing about his invitation showed that he was insulted about her hesitation earlier. Instead he mustered every bit of charm he had in him.

Taphie smiled softly as Iken lead her down the dock. She simply ignored the calls and whistles toward herself, grinning to her captain as if nothing was happening. Her people where used to wearing the bare minimum when it came to clothing, her skin surprisingly pale when compared to others she lived with. Her Top was nothing more than a soft and light weight ribbon that wrapped around her back and came together at her neck, covering most of her breast but not all. She wore exotic bands around her arms and a gold type of head piece that sat on her head. A large black and gold belt sat on her hips, holding together two other long strands of ribbon, one wide and covering her back side while the other sat in front and covered her..womanly parts. Though if the right breeze came it would easily be proven that she wore no under clothing while in this outfit. She was rather used to it, the cat calls, as she had worn this type of clothing all her life, and knew that most men would have no problem complementing her in the worst way on them.

Talliphan stopped moving as she noticed a man coming toward them quickly, only for Iken to block his attempt to do what ever he was planning. She turned about to stay something when she saw the man suddenly fall to the ground and wet himself, only second before he foamed at the mouth and passed out. She gasped and looked as Iken looked at the others and they did the same, some falling into the water. She gasped softly and quickly knelt down by the mans side, checking his pulse. "w-what did you do?" she said softly and looked up at Iken.

PostSubject: Re: West Blue: Chaotic Vacation at Las Camp    West Blue: Chaotic Vacation at Las Camp Icon_minitimeSat May 24, 2014 8:51 pm

[Desais]

"Hmm.  I suppose we have most of what you need.  However we're out of sheet metal and won't be getting any in for a while." said the old man walking towards the back.  "Boys" yelled the older man.  He turned back towards Desais, and looked at the stack of belli.  "For what you have there I suppose I can give you a tool set and all of the wood you'll need.  Assuming that your ship is of modderate size." he said.  Still eyeing the belli the man stucki his hand out for the money.

Two large men come from the back door, the plastic stips that hung down seperating the back from the front swayed from their momentum.  Both men were wearing light green shirt with cutoff sleeves as well as blade gray trousers.  Their clothes were covered in strains and filth from their work.  The two men were well built from everyday heavy lifting, as much as they were naturally.  Standing at a height of over six and half feet the two were certainly an intimidating site.  They looked at the older man and then to Desais before responding to the old man.

"You called boss?" one of the men piped up.

"Yes...obviously...He need supplies.  Take this and load it up for him, then once you're done with that you'll delivery the "special" goods to him." said the boss as he handed one of the two men a list of supplies.  He turned towards Desais with a smile.  "They should only be twenty minutes.  Once they get all of you supplies load, we'll need you to escort them to the port you're docked at so we can deliver the goods for you." said the old man boss.

The two muscle heads turned back, entering the door from which they came.  Soon after they were both out of site.  Sound of heavy lifting and clanking came from the back as it was to be assumed the men were loading up the order for Desais.  After twenty-five or so minutes the two men emerged with a cart full of the supplies the belli Desais had, had gotten him.  A crate of nails, wood, and an assortment of tools needed for the job.

"Lead the way little man." chirped in one of the muscle heads.

[Leonardo]

The woman's lips curled into a almost vindictive smile when he admitted he didn't have a reservation.  She turned and pointed towards the bar with an outstretched arm.  "This way if you please, sir." she said before turning her back to him.  She lead Leo to a seat one stool away from the men in the business suits.  As she was about to return to her position she heard Leonardo's request.  At first she backed away, but with a glance from the barkeep she knew what she had to do.  Taking a step forward she smiled and took a seat next to Leo.  Once she was on the stool she seductively crossed her legs in front of him before turning toward the counter.  The blonde turned her top half towards Leo.  The woman gracefully placed her elbow on the counter and then her chin on her exposed palm as she leaned in towards Leonado.

"So sailor...what brings you here?" she asked softly.  Her scarlet eyes gazed upon as she playfully twirled a strand of her hair around her index finger with her free hand.  As she was distracting Leo the bartender came up from behind the counter.  He held a couple of glasses that he was in the process of drying.

"What's your poison?" he asked.

[Iken and Taphie]

"I confronted them and then intimidated them with my presence." Iken said. It was true, what he said; however it wasn't exactly the whole story. "As far as your concern for them, don't be. As long as they get pulled out of the water, what I did to them will wear off soon enough." he added. Iken's spirit was as strong if not more powerful than his physical body. Not many people on the planet could claim to have a spirit as powerful as Iken's.

Iken walked around the town going from shop to shop, exploring the town along with Taphie.  Some of the shops were friendly and severed the two despite the woman's lack of fabric.  Others on the other hand gave a typical response of no shoes no shirt no service type of deal.  Being a pirate, Iken was fairly accustomed to such practices.  The fact that more of the shops were turning him down than usual didn't faze the man one bit.

As Taphie and Iken were walking down the cobbled stone street he noticed one shop in particular.  It was one of the streets near the center of the town meaning the two had walked at least a couple of miles since they had disembarked from Iken's ship.  Iken took Taphie by the hand and lead her sideways across and up the street.  He stopped in front of a building with a large glass window.  There was no signage, but there was a large blue over hang and from the window it was obvious what the place was.  Looking in from outside one would see shelves of books lining the walls with cases leading from one corner of the shop to the next.

Iken opened the door and allowed Taphie into the store before coming himself and shutting the door behind himself.  There was a smell to the place.  It wasn't bad, in way it was a good smell.  The store smelled like old leather and paper.  It was as if the past and had collided with the present.  The books in the store seemed to span from ancient looking to brand new.  There was most likely a book for everyone in the place on almost every subject.

Desais smiled and waved to the old man as he lead the two bigger gentlemen out the door. "Thanks old man!" Desais said as he looked at the two guys. Hmmm they seem pretty tuff, but of course they must do this heavy lifting quite a bit. Desais thought as he walked the two men through the town. "So how long have you guys been in business?" Desais asked the two guys. He wanted to get a conversation going for the slight walk that they had. Desais was truly curious of how well these guys are at what they do.

The sky was a beautiful blue and the sun shown a bright yellow. The sea breeze blew through everyone's hair as they enjoyed the amazing weather. It certainly is better than it has been at the beginning of Desais's journey. Desais looked around the town as he walked. He was looking for an armory and weapons store. The thought of shopping for some armor was still fresh in Desais's head. At least something other than the thin clothes he was wearing. Something that can take a massive hit and protect Desais somewhat.

Looking into her eyes he spoke focusing on her like she was the only one in the room."You could say that I was brought by fate and opportunity is what is keeping me here."  Leaning in and with hushed voice "You see I'm looking for information.  I'm sure a lot of lips loosen up around you..." Although he has whispered this was no real secret and he would not tell her anything of importance.  All the same he was curious what she might be able to tell him.  "Like for instance whats your name?"  Leo flashes another another smile. "I am Leonardo Mcallister" he extends his and for her to take.

Having had tasted many drinks from all over.  Leo  knew that some were made from ingredients exclusive to certain seas.  To commemorate the occasion of joining Steel Village, something he should be doing with crew themselves Leo figured he would order something special. Then again he could toast more than once, perhaps after his first campaign with them.

"I'll have something unique to West Blue make it special."  Before the bar keep could walk away he asked the woman for her opinion. "What you want to drink if you knew it would be your last day one earth?" Lifting an eyebrow inquisitively he grinned.

When the drink came he would not only raise a glass to the woman but also acknowledge those around him.

She moved back away from the fallen man as his pause was normal, he was just extremely scared. She sighed softly but nodded as she turned to fallow him, letting the other's on the dock help the men from drowning. She followed Iken around the town quietly, Feeling rather guilty as they started to get turned away because of her clothing.

Taphie started to make up excuses, attempting to stand outside of the shops so that Iken could go in without being turned away because of her. She looked up at the sky and smiled feeling it's warm light on her skin. She was feeling rather distracted and distant when she felt Iken suddenly grab her hand and pull her toward a store. She Tilted her head as they came to an unmarked store before entering. She let out a soft gasp as she saw the books lining the walls of the shop. "wow" she said and suddenly grinned. She quickly started looking around. "I wonder if they have any medical books, oh! or maybe an old herb dictionary for ointments!" she said excitedly as she giggled.

PostSubject: Re: West Blue: Chaotic Vacation at Las Camp    West Blue: Chaotic Vacation at Las Camp Icon_minitimeWed May 28, 2014 8:08 pm

[Desais]

"We've been doing this for a long time." said one of the men. His response was flat and uninterested. It would have been obvious that the man didn't want anything to do with conversation. He had a job to do and that was it. Getting attached to a customer would only make the job more complicated. It was simply, just an easier way of doing things and that’s all it was. Neither he nor the other man had anything against Desais, or people like him. To the two muscle heads it was just a business transaction.

"Can we get to your ship already? We don't have time to follow you around all day. If you want to go shopping do it on your own time." said one of the two. They had a job to do and wanted to get it done. If Desais took too long their job could get a whole lot more complicated. Complicated was the last thing the two men wanted, the easier it was the better it was; at least as far as they were concerned.

Once the two men and Desais arrived back at the dock, the two studied the ship. The two men brought the cart to the side of the ship and grabbed some wood. They began taking the materials up to the deck and sitting them down. As the two were carrying supplies up to the ship they made notes of the damage as well as the fact that there appeared to be no one else aboard the ship at the time. "So you got stuck doing a supply run while the rest of the crew went off on their own?" one of the men inquired. It was as if the man wanted to finally make small talk.

[Leonardo]

The woman smiled and giggled as she listened to Leonardo. She played along to draw him in, to draw his attention to her and only her. It's what she was good at, she was the one or at least she and the other attractive woman were the ones that drew all of the strong men in. The sailors loved it when she laughed at their jokes that weren't all that funny. Leonardo was different from the others, that much was true enough. He was looking for information rather than a few hours with her in the sack. Well maybe he wanted that too, but he probably wanted the information a bit more.

"Well Mr. McAllister, my name is Meg; Meg Stone. As you've said, a lot of men come in here with lose lips and I hear a lot of juicy stories. I could spend hours telling you about all of the shady things these men say." she said with a nod and towards the men behind Leo. She smiled as he took her hand into his own. "My favorite drink of course. If it was my last day in this world, I’d have our island's specialty." she responded with a bright smile.

"Here try this. It’s called the Devil's Kryptonite. The drink is actually an exclusive to this island." said the barkeep handing Leo a glass. The liquid was a hazy clear type of drink with something that almost appeared to be filed off metal at the bottom. The bartended smiled at Leo and handed Meg the same type of drink. He turned around and walked away to tend to the men in the suits.

Meg lifted up the glass for Leo to toast with her. She raised it up to her lip, but paused for a moment. "Make sure you drink it in one go and get the flavor enhancers too. They're what make the drink so good." she said. Meg raised the glass to her mouth and gulped it down in on shot demonstrating to Leo. She drank the whole thing leaving an empty glass. Nothing happened to the woman in the following seconds. If Leonardo had any doubts about the contents of the drink it would likely be put to rest at that moment.

If Leonardo were to drink the contents of his glass he would feel his strength start to drain as if he was underwater. Meg slowly leaned into Leo till her lips were right by his ear. "Like you said a lot of people with lose lips come in here. You're just one more." she said backing away. By this point, Leonardo's devil fruit powers would have become unresponsive or volatile if not totally useless. "The drink is called the Devil's Kryptonite for a reason, hun. It robs devil fruit users of their powers thanks to the flavor enhancer we use. If you haven't figured out what it was by now, its seastone. All we needed to do was confirm you were in fact Leonardo McAllister. A tid bit of information you gave ever so willingly. If there ever was going to be a next time, I'd suggest not going around blabbing your name to random people. With the reach your family has, there is a good chance they have someone around that's in their pocket." she said mocking Leo.

The men in the suits got up from their stools and walked over towards Leo and the woman. They weren't what they had appeared to be. The men were much younger than what was suggested from first glance and all of the bulk was mostly muscle. It had been an elaborate trap, one the staff had set and sprung on unsuspecting prospects a number of times. The only difference being that Leonardo was a much bigger prey than the stray sailors they usually ensnared.

[Iken and Tahpie]

Iken followed close behind Taphie as she examined books offering to carry what she needed. He had little interest in the books, however if it made a member of his crew happy, it made him happy. Iken stood there as Taphie was examining the content of one of the books. He was looking around the shop when he noticed the dust floating in the air, visible due to the light filtering in from the window. There was a strange yellow haze in the air that had only been made visible in contrast to the dust. Iken couldn't smell or feel anything off about the place, but the yellow gas was just too strange for him not to be worried.

He heard a metallic click, something he had heard before. Searching his memory, Iken's eyes widened when he remembered it was the sound that a metal cased lighter made when someone opened it. Iken scooped Taphie into his arms and covered her in his jacket as he darted towards the back of the shop. The swordsman drew in blade and slashed a hole through the books, the bookcase, and the back wall. Jumping through the hole in the wall a massive explosion rocked the surrounding area. A stream of pressure and fire rocketed through the hole Iken had created. The explosion sent Iken and Taphie flying over fifty yards into a stream turned city sewer. Iken had taken the brunt of the explosion and the water from the sewers put out the flame within seconds of it igniting Iken's back. The charred and smoking mass that was Iken and Tahpie was swept down the sewer towards the ocean the instant they hit. From the moment the explosion had hit him from the back Iken had been knocked unconscious. If Iken had noticed the gas a second later the two would have instantly been killed in the explosion.

A group of men gather around the burning building and watched as the fire roared out of control. The glow of the blaze danced on their faces, faces lit with another fire. It was a fire of accomplishment and pride. “Why did we torch them? The man looked like he was strong, he’d have been great for the mine.” Said one of the men. “You heard the boss just like the rest of us. That Iken guy is just too strong for us to handle. If he lived our whole operation could have been compromised. The fucker was worth 25 million beli, it’s not someone we were equipped to deal with. That bastard Skull was supposed to warn us if something like that was coming out way, but we haven’t heard anything from him in weeks. “ answered another of the men. “Still we could have kept the woman, it’s not every day we get a female pirate that looks like that.” Responded the first man.

The answer Desais received wasn't one he expected. Though it was clear they had done this job for quite some time, Desais just wanted to break the awkward silence. Instead it just seemed to get more awkward as the two men seemed to get aggravated at Desais's looking around. Once they finally got to the ship, everything seemed to get more relax and less agonizing. The two men didn't slow down for everything as they began loading the wood onto the ship.

Desais watched as the men took notes and put the supplies on the ship. He found it rather odd that they looked at the ship rather thoroughly and jotted down notes. I thought they were just to deliver the materials and move on. Desais thought as he stood there. He got a little more suspicious of the two as they started asking questions. The questions seemed to be a way to see how vulnerable he was. Especially after remembering what the old man back at the shop said about a "special" package. But Desais decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and answer the question. "Ya it appears so. I mean the ship needs to be repaired, and I am the one doing it so why shouldn't they get their stuff done. After the trip we've had, they should enjoy their time here." Desais said with a grin. Clearly he had nothing to hide and it didn't bother him if others knew.

You see Leonardo wasn't all that charismatic. One of two things were happening the woman was easily swayed or pretending.  Leonardo had had enough woman to see the difference.  Some of the woman were 'the help' and others saw it in there best interest to get cozy with the young McAlister, when they knew who he was.  Meg wasn't the only one pretending.  Sometimes one has to give up something in order to gain something Leo gave up his name.  The odds that they would know it or recognize who he was.  This time even though the odds were in his favor, luck was not.

Holding out a finger he signals Meg to wait before drinking. Taking his glass from the barkeep he gave it a swirled it before smelling it and eyeing it.  The sediments on the bottom did not dissolve. A deep frown set in and the veins in his faces protruded. Putting the glass down he switched it with Meg's before examining and when he was more pleased that it was the same he raised it high.  For the first time he looked away as he was going to toast with people in the bar. With his glass raised he spoke loud enough to be heard by the barkeep, Meg, and people in suits and with the distinction of those giving speeches.

"Here is to drinking like its your last day!" Before he had started talking Leonardo saw that he had already had the eyes of the men in the corner.  As he spoke he made eye contact with each person then last of all Meg. Something was off. But Leonardo drank anyway seeing Meg was not afraid to drink the glass that was meant to be his.

As the drink poured into his system he recognized the affects immediately.  With no water around it was clear that the pieces that didn't dissolve in the drink were sea stone. Only a hand full of people knew that he was fruit user none of whom should have been in West Blue.  This could only people that these were somehow connected with his family.  But was their connection?  Had his family been following him?  While not impossible it would have been difficult to set these events into motion.  While slowly falling over into hump on the floor more possibilities raced through his head before he settled on one.  It was the island that had a connection.  This island must do business with Maiejois One might have thought Leo would have been more careful he had just been liberated from a slave ship.  Now his casually giving away his name led him to be captured yet again.  Something would change but what exactly remained to be seen.

Taphie grinned as she started grabbing a few books, smiling brightly as Iken helped her. She was flipping through one of the pages on different illnesses in the current regen, and cures for such things. "fascinating" she said softly and smiled as she kept her nose buried in the book before looking to Iken. "i think I've found all the ones i need" she said and giggled before tilting her head as something seemed wrong.

She watched Iken as his faced changed and he suddenly grabbed onto her, covering her in his jacket and running to the back of the shop. She closed her eyes as he cut through the back wall of the shop, flames following them as they flew from the shop, their body's moving through the air before landing in the water of a stream that flowed into a city sewer. Taphie floated in the water a moment before gasping for air and looking around, her heart pounding from the sudden event. She was fine thanks to Iken's quick reaction. Her pink hair was a bit burnt but nothing to bad. She moved in the water and quickly looked around for Iken.

She could see his smoking body on the water as they where swept closer and closer to the ocean. She swam to him, grabbing him as gently as she could while also getting a good grip on him and looking around, trying to find something to grab onto. She Held Iken close to her and swam to the edge, grabbing onto anything that might be close to her to try and keep them from falling into the ocean. "d-damn it, t-this is bad!" she said in a panic.

[Desais]

The two men continued their work as Desais explained to them everything they were asking.  When they were sure that they were indeed alone with Desais, they stopped their work.  The two made it seem like there were going to take a break.  They walked towards the planks that lead down to the docks.  One of the men stepped aside as they were about to walk by Desais.  The two men looked at each other making sure the other was ready.  With one man on each side of Desais the two spun to face him.  If Desais decided to face either one he'd expose his flank to the other.  Not even a second after they turned the two men began lobbing punches at Desais.  The sudden attack was intended to put Desais' shoulders out of joint.  If the two were able to accomplish this simple task, they would have no trouble pinning him down before using a swift blow to the side of his head to knock him out.

Muscle Heads:

[Leonardo]

The men that had been waiting on the stools off to the side walked over to the slumped heap of Leo that laid on the ground.  One of the men grabbed Leo under his shoulders while two others each took a leg.  Slowly the three men walked out the back door of the bar.  They took back alleys and side streets that eventually lead them to the quarry.  In the skies above, if Leo had been observant he would have noticed the smoke rising up and eventually dissipating into the sky.  The smell of burning wood was faint, however it was still there.  The three men stood waiting at a large metal gate.  They stared at the puffs of smoke for a moment before the buzzer announcing the door was about to open sounded.

The men carried Leo down a dimly lit tunnel made from the rock the quarry was famous for.  It seemed like the men had been walking for hours by the time they reached a large opening.  Inside the area was lit up just a little bit better.  It was quite a massive area with multiple floors with numerous rooms on each floor.  Each room was made out of stone with bars and a barred door being the only exit.  The cells held two men each with 100 cells on each of the eight floors.  All of them were slaves that had been captured over the years.  Some of them were rejects from Mariejois while others were pirates or other prisoners that had let their guard down.  The fact they were all on Las Camp didn't necessarily mean they were all captured on Las Camp.

Once in the room the men carried Leo to one of the lower floors.  They bound Leonardo's hands behind his back while tying his legs together and then wrapping the rope the connected to his legs around his neck.  If Leo tried to move his legs back it would start to cut off his air supply.  Slamming the door shut, the men didn't seem worried that Leonardo's powers.  This likely meant that the seastone would take a while to clear his system by natural means.

[Iken and Tahpie]

Seeing as the current wasn't moving to terribly fast Taphie would have been able to get out of the water with ease if it was just herself. Unfortunately, Taphie had Iken to do deal with as well as taking care of herself. Iken being a much larger and heavier than Taphie probably didn’t make things any easier. By the time Tahpie had pulled both herself and Iken out of the stream they'd nearly have been swept out to the ocean. Once she had him on the shore his wet and flash charred clothing began to fall apart. Luckily enough, Iken hadn't sustained more than a few singes to his skin since he had only been on fire for such a short time, his clothes, especially the lighter fabric used in his shirt had taken the brunt of the fire damage.

The surrounding area was a ways away from the heaviest populated area of the town. It was a fairly clear area with little in the way of hiding places. To one side there were the docks where the Steel Village's ship was located. On the other side down the coast there was a small patch of trees with thick vegetation. In front of the two there were rocks that lead down a small hill towards the ocean. Behind the two, back up the steam there was a stone bridge that was on the outskirts of the town. It was the closest of all the options and provided decent coverage. The bridge leads to a dirt path that cut through the strip of trees to the right.

Desais knew something was off from the very beginning. Even a child would have known that something was very wrong. This just excited Desais a bit. To think that he would get to have some fun alone? The smile never left his face as he turned to see twin fists aiming for his shoulders. The attacks weren't surprising but what was surprising was their speed for being such big guys. Desais wasn't half their speed but he could definitely keep up with their strength. So instead of dodging the attacks, Desais whipped out bones that formed around his fists and halfway up his arms. He used them to block the oncoming attacks, and pushed the opponents back as much as he could.

Desais got into a fighting stance and began to counter the opponents attacks. Instead of only blocking Desais sent some fists flying with his bones. As he sent them flying, the bones that shrouded his fists flew off into the opponents chests. If the attacks were to hit the opponents would lose a bit of breath, and some may break a few ribs. "Kyhahaha! Well isn't this fun! You guys are the lucky ones to get to feel my new abilities!" Desais said laughingly to the enjoyment of the fight.

Instead of wasting time struggling, which would only make him feel the affects of the seastone more, Leonardo carefully observed his surroundings people, the route taken. How far had they gone 50m 100m?  The tunnels seems to go into the very earth itself.  And then they suddenly widen the people had carved out a mountain the walls lined with stoned.  This was a quarry of stone. So that's what it is. The buildings, streets, roads all of it made by stone harvested here.

Testing the strength of rope he pulled on it.  Seeing how that on caused the rope to squeeze his neck it didn't matter if he had strength to break through he would suffocate before yielding results.

"Hey wait just a moment. Stop..." Struggling against the ropes Leonardo grits his teeth in frustration. "What is it do you think your going to get?  You can't get me to work."  The reason for that was obvious.  "Could I least get something to eat?  At least send that hostess here for a conjugal visit.".  Leonardo looked his capture in his eye intently.

Taphie coughed as she was able to drag herself and Iken out of the water, pulling them up onto land. She looked over Iken as he was still knocked out, Her medical side kicking in as she started to examine his body. "he looks to be alright for the most part" she said to herself. She looked around at the area, trying to decide what she should do. She was smart enough to know that a book store didn't just blow up out of no where, so heading back into town would most likely be a bad idea. She thought about pulling him back to the ship, but she would never be able to drag him that far without causing more harm to his wounds that he already had. She sighed as she noticed the bridge over the stream. "There is no way i can pull you all the way to the ship...not by myself at least" she said softly as she grabbed Iken's arm, pulling him up as gently as she could toward the bridge. "god i hope i can find one of the others, Even if you aren't to beat up you still need to be treated someplace clean" she said more to herself than the knocked out Iken, dragging toward the bridge and planning to hide his passed out self there.
