[Mick - Taphie - Iken]

Mick's quick counter around Iken struck the opponent in his right side. The blade drove into the man's chest causing his punctured lung to fill with blood. He staggered back as blood bubbled up from his throat into his mouth like bile oozing out. The wound was likely fatal, but it wasn't something that would take the thug down right away little lone kill him. He clutched the area of the stab wound as the blood bubbled in between his meaty fingers.

Much like Mick had, the man Iken had sent flying earlier with a powerful elbow came around his comrade. As the stronger of the two thugs charged forward he grabbed the hammer from the other man. Seeing as the one that had been wielding the hammer was far too gone into shock to efficiently wield it, the second man having recovered from the previous blow took up the fight. The thug’s movements were sluggish compared to before he had been attacked. Even more so than Iken, the man had taken damage beyond what his body could rebound from in an instant.

"Dark King Kenpachi"

Iken sheathed his sword the moment his foe was coming in for a strike and to most it would have looked like suicide. He was completely open and it looked like he had no way to defend against the attack. Just as the hammer was about to hit, Iken ducked down bending his midsection as he drew his blade. In the following second, Iken slashed the thug eighteen times. Every last slash was strong enough to be a mortal wound against his weakened foe. As the instantaneous slaughter occurred, blood spattered almost everywhere within a five meter radius of the scene.

The man in the business suit held Taphie down as best he could. He used his massive body and weight to try and overpower the nearly nude woman. His bulky hands held on tightly to her arms as he sat on top of her. The other one grabbed her legs to hold them down so she couldn't wriggle free or kick them. A look of sickening glee came over the man's face as he looked down at the woman. He looked back at his comrade and then back at Taphie once more. Neither of the men was exactly paying attention to the scene unfolding not too far from them.

"Fire"

The hammer wasn't even able to drop an inch before it was scooped up midair by Iken's free hand. Just as the thug had recovered enough to attempt an attack, Iken spun around turning his back to the oncoming threat. Using the momentum from the spin, Iken lobbed the hammer towards Taphie's direction. Iken's arm rested just above Mick's shoulder as he released the metal object from his grasp. Once again, Iken's muscles had increased in size and his skin was a shade of strained red.

The thug’s arms slammed down upon Iken's shoulders as his body flopped onto Iken's strong back. In the moment Iken had spun with the hammer, he had also reversed the direction of his sword. The thug had run right into it, impaling himself through his midsection speeding up his already predetermined demise. The hammer that had been thrown by the strengthened Iken slammed into the man sitting upon Taphie causing him to be sent flying into the man holding down her legs. The two men's bodies were sent crashing into a nearby building. While the projectile was instantly fatal for the first man, the second survived as his partner’s body took the brunt of the blow. Even though he survived, it was just barely.

[Cole - Desais]

The claws ripped into the two guards slaughtering them in an instant as the sharp claws dug into their bodies. It was only a matter of luck, the guards were both hit with stab wounds that either nicked or directly hit a major area. Blood ran down the men's bodies and onto the claw like ribbons, dripping slowly onto the floor. After a moment the bodies lost all strength and dropped onto the floor. They were limp and lifeless, lying in a pool of their own blood. The spiked fist hit the remaining guard driving the spikes into the man's chest. Unlike the first two attacks the final one wasn't fatal, at least not instantly. The guard remained conscious as his lungs slowly began to fill with blood. He used the wound he had taken to his advantage by grabbing onto his foes arm. Raising the club, the guard brought down the hard wooden weapon, If the blow hit, he would likely break Cole's arm.

Even with the seastone, Desais' current level of strength was more than enough to keep the guard at bay. Slowly Desais' arm chocked the life out of the man as he wriggled, desperately trying to free himself. The guard slumped down as the only thing keeping him up right was Desais' strong arm. It was extended by a bit of time due to the lack of reach, but the battle was finally over; Desais had won and in doing so took the guard's life.

The thrashing from the guard had finally stopped. All that remained in Desais's arm was a limp lifeless body. Desais quickly searched the mans body for the key to his cell. It wasn't very hard to find as they were still clutched tightly in the guards fist. After ripping the keys from the guards hands, Desais began to try all the keys to unlock his cell. Once he found the right one Desais shoved the door open, causing the dead guard to fall over. Desais looked down the hallway from where the guards had rushed in from. He was about to make a run for it to freedom, but just remembered Cole was locked in his cell still. (This is my chance to escape, but I can't just leave Cole behind) Desais thought as he turned to Cole's cell and fumbled with the keys to find the right one. He found the right one much quicker than when he tried to open his own cell. Not having to deal with his arms being bound while pushing them through bars, made it much easier.

After he opened the cell door, Desais noticed that the guard was about to smash Cole with his hammer. Thoughts erupted into Desais's mind about the two bulky guys that pummeled him and brought him here. They also used hammers, but due to their size and strength, they were much bigger hammers than the one this guard used. None the less, Desais jumped onto the guards back and used the chain from the seastone handcuffs to strangle the life out of this foe as well. Getting on the man's back, Desais lifted his arms upwards, trying to pull the man upwards. In this attempt, he tried to smash the man's jugular with the chain. Hopefully this also caused the man's neck and/or spine to snap.

Mick was beginning to wonder just how powerful this guy was. He had just taken out one man with a sledge, after his chest had been smashed with it moments before. He watched them fly back into te building before he noticed the blood beginning to run down his back from the dead man now leaking. Mick immediately moved and ran towards the wounded enemy. Flourishing his blade he held it in a way to slash at the mans abdomen, he had promised he would live. All those who believed he would become great were counting on him, he wouldn't die here. Not like this, not like a slave. When he got close he flourished his sword again and brought it down at the mans chest.

Taphie struggled under the men, trying to claw her way out if she could from underthem and struggling more as the other man came down and held her legs. She could feel them moving onto of her, did her best not to imagine the distuging thoughts that might be running though their heads at the moment.

She gasped as she felt her back become lighter and herself get dragged back slightly. She sat up as quickly as hse could and looked back to see the two men that where holding her down now slammed into a wall, one dead and the other close behind him. She stood up slowly and looked to Iken and Mike, holding up her sword and rushing in, ready to attack open area that the men might have had.

[Mick - Taphie - Iken]

As Mick and Taphie rushed over to the surviving foe, Iken stood in a slouched position with his arms dangling down by his sides looking limp and lifeless.  His breathing was heavy and labored while he was sweating profusely as his body attempted to catch up with his previous actions.  Blood from the wound he has sustained to his shoulder slowly rolled down his arm and dripped onto the ground from the tips of his fingers.  He watched as Mick's blade slashed into the defenseless foe's abdominal area while Taphie stood by, ready to help.  Iken pushed off of his knees with his hands allowing him to straighten his back out and stand up correctly.   While he was still producing perspiration and the heavy breathing, it seemed Iken had at least recovered his balance.

By now the flame had pretty much consumed the house it had begun in as well as spread to a few of the surrounding buildings.  Smoke from the buildings billowed into the air as it had earlier in the day.  There was a strange calm to the environment that seemed off.  Why weren't there more slavers coming after them?  Iken remembered how the woman had reacted to the start of the fire and it finally hit him.  Putting two plus two together, Iken suspected that the slavers had likely rigged part of if not the whole area they were in to blow; like they had earlier in the day.  It was a trap.

"We need to get moving!  Now! RUN!" Iken ordered.  Iken turned to run toward the edge of the city when he was immobilized by a surge of pain.  His body ached, and it wasn't just the fractures he had sustained to his chest.  His arms, legs, back, and basically his everything; it all hurt like hell.  It wasn't a pain he had felt in years, the one that comes from greatly over exerting one’s body.  Even with all of the militaristic training he had gone through back when he was younger, Iken had never felt so much pain from exertion.  Staggering forward, Iken nearly tripped forward as his body came to a sudden halt.  He used his good arm to regain balance by pushing off the ground.  The man staggered forward a few more steps trying to overcome the pain, but it seemed to be too much.  All that Iken could manage was an awkward looking gallop like limp as he had to constantly trying to regain his balance every time a surge of pain would shoot through his leg causing the muscle to stiffen at the wrong time.

All of the sudden an explosion caused Iken to fall face first as one of the houses that had caught fire from the first exploded with a great force.  It sent burning shrapnel toward many of the other buildings causing most of the structures in the area to catch on fire.  A good few of the buildings went up quickly as if there had been some type of accelerant used.  If all of the buildings that had been rigged to explode were to burst while they were still in the area, they would not survive.

Turns Till Area Explosion: 5

[Cole - Desais]

Blindsiding the guard, Desais was able to quickly dispatch his foe by using his shackles to snap the man's neck.  In doing so, it seemed that Desais had also saved Cole's arm and Cole a visit to the doctor.  It had started; they were one step closer to freedom.  The only problem was they had to either sneak or fight past their captors.  With the sheer numbers of guards it would be unlikely for the two to survive if they fought, however it was equally unlikely they would get out unnoticed.  The path that leads out of the structure was on the bottom floor, however the lower they went the more guards they would encounter.

Each floor generally has two guards patrolling at a time with a squad of four that makes rounds on all floors every six hours.  There are eight floors with two guards on each as well as 50 guards garrisoned on the bottom floor making a total of 70 guards.  Considering Cole and Desais has just taken out five guards there shouldn't be any resistance on their or the next floor down as well as reduce the total number of guards to 65.  Unfortunately, this also mean that two floors down there was a guard waiting for his partner to come back.  If it takes too long for the man to return the guard could very well raise the camp's alarm systems.

As Desais felt the guard go limp, he loosened up his grip on his throat and let go. Thus making the guard fall hard to the cell floor. "Well, now that that is over, how do we get out of here?" Desais asked as he looked at Cole. "I mean I have some keys but I'm not sure where they all go to. I feel like we should go out the door all these guards came through but I'm not certain. You've been here awhile so I'm sure you have some idea out of here." Desais had many thoughts cross his mind. One happened to be relief from his small prison cell, but he knew he was still in a cage. Just a much bigger cage that will be a bit difficult to escape from. If Cole had any idea to escape, that would help out immensely.

Desais's eyes met to limp lifeless eyes of the guards they both had just killed. A thought crossed his mind about these mens possible family that will never see them alive again. It made Desais kind of want to vomit at the thought of the lives they had both just ruined. The sudden realization that these men are working with the people that sell others into slavery, made him erase that thought. With a swift kick to the guard he killed, Desais eyes disappeared with the pity he had. Instead of looking down at the corpses with anger, Desais thought that this would be a good chance to search the bodies. "Hmmm I wonder if we could sneak around as a guard and a captive. Clearly I wouldn't be able to be the guard because of these sea stone cuffs." Desais said as he searched the corpses and began to strip the guard without any damage to his uniform.

Discord felt the Guards grip of his arm loosen and to see that Desais had killed him by strangling him he knew that he could take a little break and told Cole that he was in control. Cole taking back heard Desais question he thought about the his past 3 years of his and said this "Each floor generally has two guards patrolling at a time with a squad of four that makes rounds on all floors every six hours. If it takes too long for the man to return the guard could very well raise the camp's alarm systems."

Cole Thought that Desais idea could work so he started to pic up some club to be sure that he could have  a way of defending him self other that his Devil Fruit powers. As He did he said "That could work Desais," and he grabbed the Uniform that Desais Got from the guard and quickly changed into it. Lucky for them on one the guards also had an undamaged hat. Cole grabbed to hide is face and because it looked nice also he said something to Desais "If we pass something like a storage area could we stop their we may find something we could use and maybe my old clothing it is all that I have left from my old life and i would like to find them." Cole finished getting dressed and came up with an idea and said it to Desais "we could dress one of the Guards in the clothing I was wearing as a back up if they came and found it," He  dressed One of the Guards in the clothing he was wearing. Cole took a min to make sure his hat would cover most of his face. And told Desais "We Better get going."

Mick felt another heat wave hit him, but this time it came from where Iken was. As wounded and in pain as Mick was he was not going to let that man die, he saved Micks life, just after he distracted that after all. In a fluid motion he sheathed his Gladius and started a run towards Iken, dodging bits of broken wood and shrapnel, until he arrived at the downed captain, whom he then tried lifting up to sling an arm over... But Micks bad arm couldn't take it. He switched places and used his good arm for support, but then he couldn't lift Iken. The girl could help! He peered back to Taphie and beckoned her over,"I need help, we gotta get the hell outta here before we're blown to bits!" He grabbed Ikens wrist and began to try and drag him. To little avail. His wound prevented him from putting all of his strength into it and he was loosing blood.

Taphie panted as she felt the exastion from fighting, she wasn't use to being so tence while having to move around so much, her muscles started to ack from it but she was in the best condition compaired to the other two. She gasped and covered her face with her arms as an instinct when the explostion happened.

It took a moment for her to realize what had happened, but when she came two she could see mick yelling at her to come help before they where blown to bits. She quicky put away her sword and ran to them, moving to Iken's over said and holding him up "we are going to be ok Iken, Lets get you some where safe and i'll patch you both up" she said to them as she started to move iken with mick.

[Mick - Taphie - Iken]

As the group of three made their way towards the far edge of the town, more and more of the buildings began to catch fire until a good portion of the town was one fire. Buildings to the right, left, back, front, and all around them were either ablaze or catching fire. As fast as the three scurried the fire seemed to be keeping pace. Behind them, now in the distance; faint explosions could be heard from the area they had just left. Almost all of the back quarter that they had been fighting in was no blazing out of control. The smoke billowing up caused the sky to turn dark as black clouds loomed above. It was difficult to tell if the darkness was solely due to the smoke or if some kind of weather front was moving in.

Before long darkness crept over the entire island causing the smoke and clouds to slowly disappear as the natural light dwindled. The fire could be seen from miles away as the light it produced danced upon the overhead clouds. Closer to the island the fires radiance mixed with the incoming nightly mists created a dim display of colors. The air was cool but also thick with a choky industrialized kind of smoke. Warmth could be felt on one's skin facing the direction of the fire. It had grown and consumed around one third of the city. As the night dragged on, the fire finally stopped growing. It appeared as if the people of the city had finally been able to somehow quarantine it so it didn't spread to any other structures.

Iken sat with his back against a tree and his legs stretched out straight. Mick, Taphie, and Iken were in a hilly-wooded area just beyond the borders of the town. They were about a half mile outside of the burning area that was once part of the town just below. A small primitive fire was made in the center of the group. It was barricaded by several large rocks and a small pit that kept it from spreading. Normally in a situation where they were being hunted, Iken would forgo the fire so it didn't give away their positions. However with so much light and smoke coming from the town below, it would be nearly impossible for their fire to give them away.

Iken sighed annoyed with his body; his muscles were still twitching from his earlier exploits. There was no chance of them being able to travel any further. Mick and Taphie had drug Iken as far as they could with the small amount of light they had left in the day. It was simply took dangerous to be moving in an unknown land without any baring to where they were heading or what could possibly be in front of them. Luckily enough, Iken had enough primitive survival skills to at least create a decent fire.

"We're in sorry shape, and I'm not just talking about the condition of our bodies. It won’t take more than half a day for the marines to show up once daybreak comes...if they're not on their way now. Once that happens the chances of leaving the island is pretty much zero. As soon as the sun comes up, we need to do two things right away. The ship needs to be moved out of the docks and we need to find these damned mines. If they're anything like the ones I had back at home they could run for miles and it could take us days to find an entrance to where Desais and Leonardo are being held. I don't like separating the crew any more than it already is, but I want you two to head towards the ship. Take the ship and head towards the north side of the islands. There are some jagged reefs the show up on the map up there so be careful. I figure even if the marine ships arrive earlier than I planned, you should be able to out maneuver them there since our ship is smaller. If you see any battleships just use the reefs to avoid them and then leave the island." Iken said with a small pause. "I'll just have to figure something out at that point...I'll head look for the mines while you're heading for the ships. With any luck, I will be able to get our men and meet you on the north shores." he said noting the details of his plan. Even though his plan sounded crazy at the time, Iken seemed as confident and fluent as ever. His crippled body didn't slow his mind down one bit making it seem like as long as he was there, even something as absurd as what he was say was possible.

[Cole - Leonardo - Desais]

A loud metalic clank echoed through out the circular stone structure that meant one thing and one thing only. The whole area was on lock down for the night. During lock down the two exits were blocked off by large thick steel bars that automatically come down as soon as the darkness of night settles in. All of the lights outside the cells on the floors turned off with a crackling sound. The only light that remained was a large set of three lights hanging over the main area were the garrisoned guards were stationed. On the bright side, even if the two couldn't escape; it would be much harder for the guards to identify them. Unfortunately there was no possible way for them to leave before the patrol squad began their rounds four hours from then.

Once Desais and Cole had replaced their prison garb with guard uniforms and placed the bodies into a cell they had aroused the attention of several of the cells around them. Having been so close to lockdown most of the people on their floor had already been too deep in sleep to notice. That was not true for all of them, however. Several cells to each side of the two had heard and witnessed what had happened.

"Hey let me out!"

"Take me with you!"

Let us free, my family will reward you!"

"Please!"

"Help!"

Cries from the nearby cells began to ring out as each of them sought to escape the hell known as the mines with Desais and Cole. The pleas for help only became louder as the cells around them began to wake up and catch on to what was happening. If the two didn't do something soon, the guard that had been left behind two floors below would hear the desperate cries. Combine that with that fact his partner was overdue he could very well raise the alarm. During lock down, the alarm being raised would be as close to certain death as it could get for any potential escapees. At this time, Desais and Cole had to quickly decide what to do. No matter what, they needed get the other inmates to be quiet. They really only had two choices, kill everyone on the floor or release them all.

Desais looked back and forth at the men that were causing the ruckus. His heart grew heavier and heavier as they kept walking down the hall past the inmates. The slow mumble of the guards suddenly grew into a large roar as the two kept walking. Clearly everyone in the general area either knew that they were escapees or had an idea what was going on. Either way the loud noise they were making was definitely going to give them both away. I wonder what we should do about this. It pains me to see these poor people imprisoned by these terrible people. We could release them all and that will cause maybe a little distraction for us. But it will definitely make the guards activate the alarm. I also don't know if these imprisoned people will mean us any harm. Surely not all of them know we are escapees. Desais thought to himself as sweat began to form on his forehead.

As a few minutes pass by, Desais couldn't stand it any long. He rushed off to the nearest cell on the left and began unlocking it. Then he continued with the other cells nearby, not even consulting Cole on what his thoughts were about helping the other. "These people shall not become their playthings!" Desais erupted as the cells nearby get completely opened. Desais handed the rest of the keys to one of the prisoners. "Here do what you can to help the rest. But please hurry!" Desais said with an anxious tone. Trusting the man may have not been the right thing to do. Hell, Desais wasn't certain that this man wouldn't just start to run instead of helping the others. With the seastone shackles on, Desais wouldn't be able to do much more than assist the others.

As they walked Cole Heard the enslaved prisoners  cries for help as he walk he was not sure if they reconsidered him or if they saw him killing the other guards but eater way it was a Problem. Cole was feeling torn up inside from all of the prisoners they have been enslaved here for the longest time like he wanted to free them but he knew it would complicate things. He though about it "If we let them go they could turn on us making our attempt to get to get out of here for nothing and probably get me and Desais killedor they could help or act as a distraction for us. If we don't do anything they could alert the guards and probably get me and Desais killed," He continued think and discord told he mental they could kill them all but Cole continued his though "We could Kill them all but most of them are here as slaves and might not be bad people and I rather not kill them for that bad of a reason." But he did not have time to make his chose as Desais made it for him as he started to unlock some of the prisoners but he did not mind it this was the right chose and he was glad that Desais did it, It made him Feel even more glad That he chose to Join him and hopefully join the Steel Village Pirates . But this chose could make or brake this escape but he knew this was the best chose so he said to Desais as he was handing " You made the right chose letting them go now let's get going but first," he turned to the man that gave the keys to. He asked to Discord to talk to the man "You better let the other go." Cole hoped this would 'encourage' him to let the other go. He then went back to Desais and said to him " This may be the right chose but we better get moving i have a feeling this is going to be getting even tougher as we go on," starting to walk away.

"Your worse off than I am Iken." Mick responded, sitting with a flask in hand. He was drinking to full the pain of the gun wound. The day had gone...badly. The town was in flames and the only one without serious injury was the girl he hadent introduced himself to yet. He was down to his Gladii and Stilettoes. Iken had taken a impact to the chest and had physically overworked during the fight. Mick slid up against the rock from the ground. "I'll go look, you two  should go to the rockie area." He offered. Mick had decided on sticking his nose into this business, he should help. This Iken guy was interesting as well...how had he performed were astounding and to be frank, mick wanted to know more about the interesting fellow. Mil felt up his wounded shoulder, cursing the damn bartender.

Taphie seemed to be the only one whom was able to keep her energy. The nude girl walking around in the dim light, searching for something it seemed. Her face had a look of concentration on it. She got down on her n knees before gasping and standing up, running over to them with what looked like a weed in her hand. "Eat this, both of you" she said with a stern yet concerned voice. "Its an herb that was in the medical book i was reading before we were attacked" shr said as she started to pull off leaves and gave them each a few. "Its a pain killer" she said, her mind now on making sure the two men where alright.

[Mick - Taphie - Iken]

Taphie handed Iken and Mick an herb or leaf of an herb that she claimed to be a medicinal pain killer. It reminded Iken of the days he was a young and still bound to his parental village. He remembered something that grew on their island that the adult used to use to numb the gums before a dental procedure. They had called it a coca leaf or something like that. After Iken had his wisdom teeth taken care of, he and a few other made their way into the place that the village stored their medicines. The group of young boy’s stat around chewing on the village’s supply leaves for a week before they were caught. The elders beat the group so badly that all they talked about was how they wished they had saved some of them to relieve the aches. Iken couldn’t help but let a little grin run across his face at the thought.

Iken sat there while he listened and thought over what Mick had to say. Instantly, Iken had a firm distaste for the plan that would leave him out of all the action. He was easily stronger than the two of them combined, by a long shot. Even with his body in its current state, Iken had no doubt that was still true. Iken was certain however, that wasn’t something that would go over well with Mick. He had to come up with something that would please everyone.

"While I understand where you're coming from. It's not something that will work out if just anyone goes in. There is this stench that comes from deals that come from a certain group sitting in the middle of the Grandline that seems to have rubbed off on this island in some way. I’ve seen it at least once before when Cat and I were freelancing as guards. If there is a connection to this group somehow, we need to be able to leave as soon as possible. Otherwise…the chances of us all...no, any of us leaving will be diminished. Honestly you’d have a better chance if you’re a snow ball being tossed in hell. That’s why making sure the ship is ready is such an important job. Getting the ship ready is at least a two man job. Two abled bodies, and as you can see; that doesn't exactly describe me at this point.” Iken said with his usual oozing confidence.

While what Iken said wasn’t exactly false, it wasn’t really the whole truth either. If he really wanted he could probably handle the ship just fine. That however would take him away from the mines and away from his crew members that were trapped down in them. His biggest fear was that there was somehow a chance that one of them was down there, in the mines. If that was true, and something happened everyone would be dead. Leo and Desais along with Iken and every last person down in the mines would be dead. It was silly to be so worried about something that was such a slim chance. Iken knew this to be true, but still all of the horror stories he was told growing up about the malicious dragons casting themselves down from heaven to rein fiery hell upon the people of earth. It wasn’t until Iken had finally set off on his journeys that he learned these beasts actually exist, in the form of humans.

[Cole – Desais]

“Thank you so much!” the man said as he took the keys from Desais. “You truly saved all of our lives today. I will do as you ask and let out everyone else. “He said. The man with the keys ran around opening one cell door after another. Eventually four different people had taken keys from the ring to let out their fellow slaves. The generosity kept spreading and most of the people stayed put as they slowly made their way around to all of the cells on that level. Unfortunately there were some that had only one thing on their minds. They only wanted to look out for themselves and thus began to go down toward the next level. Whether they wanted to get out or get revenge on a certain guard. It didn’t matter what the consequences were to everyone else as long as they got their way. A large number of the people locked up down there were pirates and criminals after all.

Most of the people that had been freed began to group themselves around Desais. “What do we do now?” they asked. They were looking for someone to direct them and didn’t care who it was or why they were down there. If Desais wasn’t up to the task, they would likely follow the pirate that had already began to make their way down. Whether he liked it or not, Desais made a decision and now he had to deal with the consequences.

See the group crowd around Desais when he did he saw the uncertainty on his face Cole wondered if Desais, Cole was unsure if Desais Could lead the group of prisoners but he did not know what to do at first so he took a minute to think of some thing but he found that the only way was to lead the group of prisoner . So he did what he had to do and take charge saying this "OK Listen up because i am only going to say this once,'" He stopped talking to make sure every one here is listening "Ok i know we all want to get out of hear as much as me but we need to make sure we have a plan so here is my idea," He took a breath because this was going to be a long idea. "We need that every one that know some form of fighting or can fight up in front if you have no trained fighting but are strong enough to just find something you can hit people with as a blunt weapon or if yo have to try to punch them. Anybody that is to weak to fight or is ill stay in the and make sure that you stay hidden if we fight any one make sure that you pick up anything you can and give it to the someone that can fight." Cole took a breath and continued "We have to Make sure that we do not let any of the guards live on our way down or they will sound the alarm and that would make all of this for nothing also we have to make sure that we move fast so we can make sure the others that left us behind do not alert them, I know i might not be much of a leader but i am the best we can do right now so lets get going down their and get the hell out of here." As Cole finished he could see that the prisoner started to see him as their leader so he said "I will not force any one here to fallow me so if any one dose not want do as you wish but i have a plan and i would like you help." he said as he started to heading down to the lower levels and the guards on them.

Taphie looked at the men as they spoke, she sighed soflty and moved to sit down. She looked down at iken bit her lip. "Iken's right" she said softly. "He needs to rest, and even if we find the others if the marines show up there is no way we will get out of here" she said and rubbed her neck "i don't know how to work the ship as well" she said and looked at mike. "we need to get the ship to a safe place, so once we do find ther others, we can high tail it out of here" she said and looked at Iken 'you need to stay put, and rest until you are feeling better" she said as she looked at him with concern before smiling at him 'doctors orders" she said, atempting to lighten the heavy mood a bit.

PostSubject: Re: West Blue: Chaotic Vacation at Las Camp    West Blue: Chaotic Vacation at Las Camp - Page 5 Icon_minitimeThu Oct 16, 2014 7:04 pm

In the distance was a black ship with a semi-demonic, yet cartoonish, statue in the front tip of the ship. It roamed through the darkness of the seas. To some it would look like the dark weather that enveloped the island somehow showed a change in the air, to others they'll notice the flag on the ship and immediately assume they were pirates. The closer they got to the shore the more uncertain and exagerated these speculations became.

Inside the ship Dante was laying on his giant bath, which was more like a pool then anything else. Dante looked at the time in an hourglass and stood up. By his calculations, made a very long time ago, he'll be arriving in the island soon. Dante dipped in the pool and walked towards the door. He opened it carefully and on the other side was another wooden door. After closing the first door he opened the second expecting everyone to still be asleep. He walked down the small hall and up the stairs located on the other side of the woman's room. He made sure to knock on their door loudly so everyone could wake up. Walking up the stairs was the men's room almost immediately behind him. He knocked on their door too and walked towards the outside of the ship.

Dante walked to the top of the ship. His were tattered and his ship looked almost wrecked in color like time had taken a toll on the wood. In reality the ship was about as good as any other normal ship. All of these things were done so it looked like a ghost ship when it really wasn't. Dante walked to the front of the ship and sighed. The island in front of them was set aflame, which meant that this will likely not be the last stop for those in his crew that decided to leave (if any). Dante tried his best to reach out to all of them, and did all of the chores around the ship (he's used to doing them anyways). He only hoped that they had enough time to bond.. because it looked like another island needed to be saved.

He waited for the ship to reach the docs at this point. Dante put on his black long-sleeved shirt, with a black tank-top underneath and black skinny jeans that didn't limit his movement. His shoes looked expensive. Dante put on silver earring around his left ear, all around it, with his black hair left wild and down to the middle of his neck. He looked muscular, and had tanned skin.

"For the sake of the Diablo, we shall kill those responsible and help this city."

[Mick - Taphie]

By the time the sun began to rise at dawn, Iken was long gone. He must have slipped out sometime during the night. In his condition it was amazing that no one had noticed. The warmth from the sun began to fill the air as the embers from the fire slowly died one after another. Down below the town was still smoking, but the fire was pretty much dead by now. The smell of an industrialized smoke still lingered in the air; it caused a uncomfortable burning sensation in the nostril when breathed in. Mick and Taphie had a trek in front of them and if they wanted to get to the ship anytime soon they'd need to get going. It'd be a good two and half hours through town, and probably something like four if they decided to go around. After they reached the ship it shouldn't take more than an hour to an hour and a half to get to the northern shores.

[Iken]

Iken was moving through the woods at a good pace. He wasn't moving as fast as he could, but he was still making good time. He had covered a couple miles of the rough forested terrain in less than an hour. His body was still sore, but the rest he took did wonders for him. After the day he had yesterday, Iken wasn't sure how long his body was going to hold out. However so far he had been able to use it almost to his normal extent. Iken was able to push his body with only a small amount of effort. He knew he was getting stronger and it was happening quickly. It was happening at a much more rapid speed than it had ever before. Not ever when he was training back in his village or when he trained with his master, did his strength improve so quickly. Despite the situation and how bleak it looked, Iken could see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Iken had been running up hill for over an hour and a half before he came into a large clearing. The trees just stopped; there were only smaller plants that grew in a circular shape. It was strange; the ground in the area felt like there was a constant earthquake. Every time he took a step it felt like the ground was going it give way at any second. Bending down Iken observed the grass that was growing in the circle; it was a lighter green almost a yellow color. It almost looked like the grass was sick or like it wasn't getting enough nutrients for whatever reason. Iken wasn't sure what was causing it, but he was certain that he had found something that involved the mine. Some way or somehow, he needed to use this place to lead him to the mines.

[Cole - Desais]

The whole situation had just fallen apart and it was total chaos in the small slave camp. It only took one floor before the guards were able to stop the pirates dead in the tracks. Down on the sixth flood the pirates and rioting prisoners had created a barricade out of bunks and whatever they could find. Initially they had made it all the way down to the fourth floor before the main guards main forces entered the battle. While they had the numbers the guards had the weapons and the training to push the prisoners back. With the constant tang of gunfire below, it wouldn't be long before the guards took back the sixth floor. After that it would only be a matter of time before the entire place was once again under their control.

The elite guard the warden rallied their men allowing them to halt the force causing a good number of casualties along the way. In total over 90 of the prisoners that had been on the frontlines were dead, while only five guards had lost their lives since Desais had allowed them to escape. Most of the prisoners were on the eighth floor huddled together trying to keep their heads down. They had already given up, they were content going back to the way it was as long as they were spared. The despair upon the final floor was thick and heavy, everyone there was in an agonizing amount of desperation.

[Dante]

The part of the town where the docks were was pretty much abandoned. All of the sailors had gotten out of dodge when they could have while most of the town’s people were on the other side trying to quell the fire. The few that were lingering on the side of town that the docks were located at were mostly the extremely old and the extremely young. Young children played in the street with a dull tone of nervousness about them. The elderly watched over the young as the talked amongst themselves in quiet whispers. They spoke of the pirates that had come and set their town ablaze. One of the elderly looked around before whispering his concerns about the mines and whether or not it had brought the pirates wrath upon the town. Everything was hushed for a moment as the other brushed off the concern or acted like it had never happened. All of the sudden, one of the children burst into tears. A small girl ran over to the elderly and declared, "I want my mommy and daddy! I don't want them to die in the fire, please bring them back!" It wasn’t long before the other children followed suit and began balling their eyes.

Cole saw the the despair and look of hopelessness on the people on the 8th floor and was going to do his best to help them. Cole quickly came of to the group of depressed prisoners and said this " I know things may look bad i know we are out gunned and powered buy the guards we are loss but i have a ray of hope for all of us what they do not have. We have something that i will not let them take away from us it is the thing that kept every single person here alive it is our will our spirit we can make it out of here if we keep that if we make it so that we can win this we need ever one to believe that we can make it out of here because we can we can if we can do not we loss the only thing we have that they win in more ways then we can count " Cole took a deep breath and got very serious" My mother said this to me once and she was killed but she did not loss her smile as she died becuase she new i would live on and find my namaka my family anmd start my new life that is my dream but when I see all of you guys , I see your dreams and that is what will drive us out of here and to our freedom is our dream is what make us human I am not fallowing my dream for the reason that my mother always helped the people and i live in the hope i can be like her if any of you want to stay here that is fine but you will not even be human in my eyes you will be shells." Cole started to lighten up a bit "But even if you give up i will try to protect you even a shell is worth livening but i hope you go down their and try your best to fight for the good of not just me but the good of ever other prisoner here I can because I believe that you all deserve a chance to live your dreams." Cole waited for their response in the hopes that he got through to as many of them as he could have.

The sudden confusion that had erupted after the prisoners came out gave Desais a chance to figure out what to do. He overheard Cole talking to the guys and knew the plan wasn't going to work. This place is meant to keep people in, not to let them out. It was inevitable for them all to either die or to get recaptured again. Instead of joining the riot, Desais searched for a way to remove his handcuffs. There wasn't much around, and all Desais could think of doing was to break them. Desais went around to some of the cells and attempted to smash the handcuffs into the walls or the bars. This didn't really do much but scuff up his hands quite a bit. Blood splattered against everything he tried to smash them against. All he was really able to do after a bit was snap the chain in between the cuffs. Not much more happened except for a few scratches on the remaining cuffs.

Desais looked down at the remaining cuffs and cursed to the heavens. He had hoped to be able to use his devil fruit abilities to at least even the odds a little. This made Desais wonder, why isn't Cole using his devil fruit abilities to help the other prisoners to escape. Why is he just having them do all the work while he is just practically waiting to escape. These thoughts raced through his head as he toyed with the cuffs. Desais continued to look around for a possible way to remove them. As he looked he noticed some dumbwaiters that lead to the next floors. All there was, was a rope that was hanging straight down the hole. He figured this would be a better means to escape but getting through the guards would be another story. Instead of going down it, Desais continued to smash the cuffs so as to hopefully remove them in time.

Taphie woke slowly, feeling a bit sore after the day before but still able to move. She cleared her head before looking around as she noticed one of them missing "damn it iken" she said under her breath as she saw he was gone. She noticed that mick was still there with her though, to which she was thankful. She woke him quickly, not saying much other then that they needed to get to the ship quickly before they lost any more time. She made sure mick was able to walk and move properly before pulling him along with her, dragging him long though the outskirts of town so that they wouldn't be noticed and to the docks, at this point she was wishing she had a bit of clothing, if for nothing else to keep from bringing attention to herself as she dragged Mick to the docks, quickly heading toward the ship.

Dante overheard the little girl crying about her parents. In that instance the man walked up to her, with lots of people stopping to eye the mysterious man wearing a long sleeved shirt and jeans with black shoes, along with many earrings on his left and right ear, and started to gossip about the flag. They only heard rumors about a kingdom that was destroyed in a single day, or rather, completely put into chaos by a single group of five people. Dante walked to the girl and patted her head, leaving his heavy hand on her head to show her some sympathy. Dante walked into the flames without any problems, and continued to walk forward without getting any damage to his sand body. To the crows he looked like a man who just committed suicide.. but in a matter of minutes the cloaked man walked out of the fire with two people around his arms. He looked perfectly fine, but the two around his arms were burned (albeit protected by sand somehow). Dante left their bodies on the wall and he went back into the town.

He repeated this, bringing back folds of two to three people each time, and after five rotations stopped hearing voices in the fire asking for help. By this point Dante returned to the little girl, but found that one of the people he saved, with a blackened face do to the soot, was actually the person she was looking for. Dante smiled and went back to the flames, but before he left she yelled at him something.. unexpected.

"Who are you mistah?" She asked, with tears of joy streaming down her eyes. Dante looked at the fire ahead of him. "I'm The Sand Spirit, and I'm here to save everyone." Dante went back to the flames, this time extinguishing them by creating a sandstorm that was dangerous to people if they touched it, but he made sure there wasn't. The flames from his side were completely gone which put everyone in a safe position and with a heaven of sorts. Dante continued walking with the sandstorm following him. The little girl, and the others, did not follow him.. because they knew he'd be doing something that they could not imagine.

"For peace, I will liberate this island from its war." Dante knew that something had to start this massive fire, he just had to find out what.. and probably stop it.

PostSubject: Re: West Blue: Chaotic Vacation at Las Camp    West Blue: Chaotic Vacation at Las Camp - Page 5 Icon_minitimeFri Oct 31, 2014 12:07 am

[Mick - Taphie]

Upon arriving at the side of the Ragnell (the ship of the Steel Village), Taphie and Mick would come to a nearly deserted dock. A long man stood at the end of the dock looking up at the Steel Village's flag ship. It was an elderly man with grey hair that was dressed in a suit seen worn by old time shop owners. He shakily held his cane in front of him causing it to tap on the dock making an echoing sound that resonated out clashing with the natural sound of the ocean. From a distance the older gentleman seemed like a weak old man, just standing there admiring the pirate group's ship. However once Taphie and Mick would have been able to get close to him, there would be a strange feeling in the air. It was like the feeling one gets when one looks over the rail of the ship and sees sharks circling around below. Whether it was some sense beyond that of a human or simply natural instinct, the man was causing a response in the bodies of those standing on the dock similar to what a small mammal goes through when being stalked by a predator. There would be a surge of energy, a tingle down the spine, an expedited heart rate, and stiffness in their muscles.

Slowly the man turned his head, finally acknowledging the presence of Mick and Taphie. He studied the two for a moment and quickly determined the two were not even close to being a threat. A smile spread across his face that ushered out all of the tension and cold. It was replaced with a warm feeling of safety much like that of a child held in the arms of their parent after a long cold day of play. The old man blinked once before turning his attention to Taphie. "My my, dearie. What are you doing dressed like that? You'll catch your death with a cold if you don't put some layers on." he said casting out a feeling a genuine concern. As shakily as ever, the elderly man turned to face Mick and Taphie. "Not to mention you might give the boy here the wrong idea. Mawhahaha" he said with a chuckle and a wink at Mick.

"Is this here fine ship yours?" asked the old man. He had picked up his cane and pointed it at the ship. The end of the cane taped the haul of the ship creating a loud clank as the two wooden objects connected. "Oh, where are my manners...? My name is Johan and I've always had a fascination with old works of art like this. It's just a shame at the kind of condition it's in." he said referring to the ship.

[Iken]

"Damn it all! I have no idea where the hell I'm supposed to go." Iken mumbled in frustration. Another three hours had gone by and Iken, despite all of his searching had found nothing remotely like an entrance. He was beginning to worry that the entrance was connected to a tunnel and therefor the entrance would be back in the town. It would be bad to go back into the town now that the fire appeared to be out. If the villagers had finished with that, they would most certainly be looking for the group while waiting for the marines. All that Iken had found was the stupid patch of yellow grass, the place he had just returned to. "AHHHH!" Iken yelled stabbing his blade into the ground below.

The ground shook slightly from the force of Iken's strike, which struck Iken as extremely odd. "What the hell?" he questioned; examining the place he had just stabbed. Either Iken had just gotten a whole hell of a lot stronger without realizing it or something was really strange with the area. Thinking back to the time he first came to the patch, he remembered the ground feeling loose or shaky then too. "Ah what the hell?" Iken said getting into a stance. Iken held his sword firmly in his right hand concentrating on his surroundings. "DARK KING KENPACHI!" In a mere second Iken has sliced the ground over and over, eighteen times in total. The shaky ground under him was removed with each powerful slash of the swordsman’s blade. Upon the final strike, the blade hit a solid chunk of stone. The carved out stone that was supporting the area where the yellow patch has been, was sliced in half causing it to fall downwards.

[Cole - Desais]

Despite the feelings that the people had, they listened to Cole as he spoke. They gave him curtsy as he and Desais were the ones who had let them out. However the words of the young man fell flat and could not drown out the sounds of their sorrow. "Look kid...we're glad that you and your friend were kind enough to let us out. We asked for this, regardless of whether you started it or not and for that we're likely going to be punished. How severely the punishment will likely decide in the kind of role we played during this debacle. Just leave us alone now; your actions have caused us enough grief." While one old man had said it, it was obvious by the look in the eyes of the people that they all felt that way or worse. Some of them blamed the two for everything, deciding that none of it was their fault at all. Saying anything else to the people around them could have unexpected consequences.

As Desais continuously tried to get the cuffs off, his hands took more and more damage. It soon became apparent that it was more likely that his hands would fall off long before the cuffs ever did if he kept smashing them into shit. Dust fell from the ceiling, landing upon some of those on the eighth floor. Soon actual dirt before to come down causing those it land on to look up. Just at their attention was turned to the roof above them, it collapsed. Large chunks of stone broke off and fell down, mixed with the soil and plant matter that had been on top of it. The ceiling seemed to have broken into two large pieces that began to fall towards those below. Luckily the pillars that held the roof and floors up caused the two large halves to tilt inward. The two massive pieces of rock began to fall side by side with their lengths vertical. Falling amongst the tons of dirt and debris from the ceiling was a shirtless man clutching a sword in his right hand.

All of the sudden the two slabs of rock hit the floor below. The force of the impact caused a debris filled explosion of air to shoot outwards. Dust and dirt ridden air blew up the floors, climbing it like some type of some invisible beast rushing up for blood. The force of the wind blew over all but a few of the guards as well as the pirates and their make shift barricades. Dust shot up and over the people of the eighth floor creating a wall of dust the fell back down upon them like some ethereal hand swallowing the lot of them.

[Dante]

Thanks to Dante's spectacular power over the element of sand and desert, he was able to smother out the fire relatively quickly. As he walked through the charred remains of the section of the town he may have noticed that some of the buildings looked to have blown up from the inside out. The remains of most of the buildings had fallen in toward where the center of the building would have been. However there were some that the debris was laying outside of the perimeter of where it would have been. What was even stranger was the fact that the buildings that had the debris on the outside seemed to have burned hotter as the char on it was blacker.

Off in the distance there was a rather attractive blonde woman walking away from the area. She appeared to be dressed as a waitress or some type of high class server. The woman didn't appear to notice Dante or the sand around him at all. Not only did the woman ignore the giant sand storm behind her, she appeared to be in a hurry heading towards the outer edge of the town. As the woman moved, Dante may have noticed a strange bulge on her hip, possibly a pistol or a weapon of some kind.

Diana was sleeping soundly, curled up in one of the hammocks on the revolutionary ship. She appeared quite content until a knock at the door woke her up with a start. Had they reached land already? There was only a moment where she considered dozing off further, but she decided against it. Her previous injuries had left her bed-ridden for a time. Hopefully she wasn't becoming lazy because of them. The wounds had healed for the most part but clean bandages were still applied to her right calf and shoulder just in case. Causing Hella to worry by removing them early wasn't something Diana wanted to do. Surely the doctor would be fine with her stretching her legs on the island for bit, right?

Standing up Diana hastily gathered her things. She hopped on one foot to the door as she struggled to get her boot situated onto her foot. After leaving the communal bedroom and reaching the deck, she looked around to see that no one else was there. How curious. Maybe it wasn't such a bad idea to consider dozing off a bit more. They had certainly made it to port at some sort of island, and it was likely that Dante had attempted to wake the crew then wandered off into the town. Diana examined the city sky line for some sort of clue where the others went.

Huh. There was a rather convenient sand storm brewing not far from where the ship made port. Dante was likely the culprit for such weather. She hopped off the vessel and jogged into town towards the strange weather, giving her leg a solid test for the first time since the injury. Everything seemed to be working fine and Diana eventually caught up to the cloud of whirling sand. It was Dante's doing, just as she thought. The hooded coat she typically wore came in handy for times like this. She pulled the hood snugly over her head to keep at least some of the sand at bay as she quickened her pace until she was walking a short distance behind the sand man.

"You could have waited a minute..." Diana mumbled, barely loud enough for the nearby Dante to hear. She glanced around, with some difficulty. The sand was a slight hindrance, but she was able to squint and make out pieces of charred landscape. "But I see you had more pressing matters to attend to instead."
