Name: Hellhound Squad
Faction: Marine/Navy
Type: Infantry Squad
Ship: Normal Dinghy
Activities: The squad is tasked with the aid of officer crews around the East Blue. While this is true, the squad is primarily situated in Loguetown. The task that is most often given to the squad is the aid of defeating and capturing Pirate crews or rogue Pirates. However, the squad is also often given the task of simple peacekeeping of citizens in a town or simple menial tasks, such as hauling Cargo off of ships.
Squad Badge: The first noticeable feature of the badge is the main centerpiece. This would be the reason for the name: The Hellhound. The centerpiece looks as if it’s a normal dog’s face if someone were to look at it dead on. However, there are several differences compared to a normal dog. First, the eyes of the dog are pure yellow. The second prominent odd feature is two large horns. These come from the temples and curve to halfway down the jaw. The dog is has extremely ragged fur and the fur is pitch black. There is a thick blue circle around this centerpiece, signifying that it is a Marine Squad.
Goals: The main overall goal for the Squad is the advancement and safety of its members. Each member should want to help each other rise through the ranks regardless of competition.
-Named Members-Hal Orzhan – Squad Captain, Recruit Rank
-NPCs-No NPCs at this moment in time.
History:Before joining the Marines, Hal was the head of a gang on his own home island. The supposed gang, rather than terrorizing the people, would continue to protect the town against others who would terrorize. Hal continued to believe, and still continues to, in Moral Justice. He believes that every person believes a second chance before they are taken down. He tries to share this belief with those under his wing. When moving from his gang to the Marines, Hal continued to keep his mentality of Moral Justice.
When training in the Marines, before officially joining, Hal would continuously speak up on others behalves. He would do this whether other wanted him to do so or not. As such, he got a fair amount of respect from his peers though some begrudgingly gave it. Other new recruits began to trust in Hal to help them with his problems and moved to his side to aid him and thus was the creation of the Hellhound Squad, with Hal as its figurehead.
