West Blue: Rise of the Village

Iken and Desais made it to the ship and climbed the plank to get aboard. "The name is Iken Namikaze. However I don't believe this is the time to be exchanging pleasantries." he said trying to make haste.  Finally it looked like everything was over.  It was going to end, this chapter of hell that started upon such a friendly little island.  Iken even let out a sigh of relief when he took his final step and boarded the ship.  He had tied the life boats to the ship and lifted them with the pulley system the ship had before he had left to get back to the town.  
 
Iken pointed and ordered the crew so they could do what they needed to get the ship up and going.  When the sail fell, Iken cranked the helm causing the boat to turn toward the open sea.  A stiff wind blew and the ship lurched forward.  The wind was cold and ominous, but at the time it was welcomed as a saving grace.  It appeared as if it was open seas from there on out.
 
All of the sudden the ship came to a sudden and unexpected stop.  The stop caused Iken to smash into the helm and then crumple to the ground.  Turning to look what happened a lone grappling hook was sunk into the railing of the ship.  It made a waning sound as if it was about to snap, however another and then another, followed by dozens more came.  A marine vessel used the grappling hooks to pull Iken's ship next to theirs.  The two ships collided with a slight thud, followed by scraping as the waves caused both ships to bob and weave.  
 
Iken leaped up with his injured body and ran over to the side.  Despite his injuries, he was quick.  Unfortunately he wasn't quick enough.  As Iken went to cut some of the ropes he was kicked in the face by a marine that had leaped onto the rails of the two ships.  Iken fell backwards and slid back into the helm once again.  His sword went flying and barely missed Desais, stabbing into the deck of the ship right between his legs.  Just when they thought they had made it through hell without the devil noticing, they were pulled back in by his menacing claws.

Knowing what he said was true, Desais began helping get the ship ready for sail. Bringing up the lifeboats and pulling up the anchor, Desais smiled as they began to sail into the open blue. Only for a brief moment did everything seem right with the world. Then Desais's fell to the ground when the boat was suddenly halted by some grappling hooks. Desais watched as Iken tried but failed to cut the lines that the marines had attached to their ship. Then the marines began to board and everything went back to hell.

Desais pulled Iken's blade out from the ship. "What the hell do you want with us?" Desais asked in a upset manner. He was hoping to be done with this place, but his hopes were bashed in with a rock. "What you really want is still on the island wrecking havoc, not us." Desais began to yell. Knowing all to well that this probably isn't the best thing he should be doing. Instead he did it anyway out of frustration and hate.

Cat walked on the ship and sailed towards the ocean. He followed Iken's orders and helped the ship sail towards the area needed. However, just when the ship was about to leave the area a hook stopped them from moving forward. The sudden halt of the ship made Cat lose his balance and struggle forward. Cat's balance stopped him from doing more then a simple step forward when the ship felt like it had stopped completely for one moment. Iken hurried through the deck to do something with the hooks but the marines kicked his face to the floor. Cat unsheathed his sword and went into action.

Cat took an offensive stance by opening his legs and leaving his palm on the handle of his sword. The cat with the white X's on the eyes seemed to jiggle a little more then usual. One could almost notice the black cat keychain jiggling on his handle. Cat was preparing himself to attack anyone that got near him. His hand was firmly planted on the handle; if anyone tried to clash with him they would likely lose. Today he was going to kill some marines, and a lot of them. For causing so much trouble these marines were going to die.

"Who wants to die first?" Cat said, without a hint of worry. He'll have to try and protect everyone he can.

The man that had kicked Iken drew his blade, it was a long thin blade that looked rather fragile; it was a rapier.   It was meant for speed attacks more so than power or defense.  The man looked at the scene at hand, looking from Iken to Cat.  Iken was obviously not a threat anymore so his attention moved to Cat.  He didn't even give Desais or Ada a second glance.  With a flick of his wrist four men boarded the ship. The two men leaped onto the ship from theirs, however there was a clear difference between them and the first man. They weren't nearly as strong as the captain, he was on a whole different level. The two were nothing more than regular marines, and in the shadow of their captain they seemed like ants. Just how powerful was the man with the small sword.  Two of them went after Desais, drawing their blades; while the other two went towards Ada.

Iken tried to get back onto his feet using the helm to pull himself up.  It was no good, he was unable to do more than crumble back down onto the floor.  Iken cursed under his breath.  He was so weak at the moment that the foe didn't even bother sending a marine to apprehend him.  "Cat don't let them hurt our friends!" Iken pleaded. Iken wriggled and struggled trying to get to his feet so he could get up and help the people under his care. He had taken them in, he couldn't just let the marines do what they wanted with them. Not now and not ever. However much he struggled, it was no good, he just couldn't get up.

Captain Razz:

No reply came from the marines. This infuriated Desais, so he readied the blade Iken had land at his feet. Two men came rushing at Desais. Desais smiled and began getting in a battle stance. Noticing the power and weight to the blade, Desais figured what he could do with it. This blade of Iken's is powerful indeed. I shall have some fun with it. Desais thought as he stomped his right foot into the ground, giving him a push off for a sprint towards the two men.

Gripping the sword tightly, Desais swung it parallel to the ground directly at the two men. They passed each other and Desais turned around for a second attack from behind. Going from behind himself swinging to the right and all the way to his left, Desais swung again parallel to the ground directly at the mens midsection. Smiling brightly, Desais seemed to enjoy weilding this weapon. Even though he was injured from the battle before, using this blade seemed to bring up his spirits and his will to keep going.

Ada looked around her when she felt the ship halt for a moment, causing her to trip and land on her knees; this exposed her butt to the people that looked. She got up and saw a marine ship reeling themselves closer. When the ship arrived one of the marines kicked Iken in the face and had his sword fly and land right next to Desais. Ada was too scared to move, she was terrified of what could happen next. One man came to the group, obviously the leader, and ordered other marines to attack. Four others arrived on the scene and attempted to kill both Ada and Desais. They looked stronger then the average person just by the bulk in their muscles.

Ada was too frightened to move. She held the knife close to her side and panicked, frozen in fear. She dropped to the ground, crying, and put both of her hands on her head while she bent over away from the marines, showing her covered butt one more time. The marines ran towards her at full speed and with swords. They didn't seem like they would slow down.. until they saw her butt. One of them slowed down a little, while the other continued to run forward. The one running forward was probably not into her butt.

Cat watched as two men tried to go past him and harm Ada. Iken ordered Cat to protect the 'friends'. Now Cat knew that these two would become, or were already, friends to both Iken and Cat. The two marines ran past Cat, and it seemed almost too late to catch up to them. Cat immediately pivoted his legs so he turns around, and pushed himself forward at maximum speed. The two marines had a head start on Cat, but not for long. The second they got within 4 feet of Cat he unsheathed his blade and span forward, slashing both of the enemies in front of him and landing on his feet, facing the marine.
 
Cat widened his stance and looked at the enemy in front of him. He looked strong, but how strong was he? Cat could take down the logia they fought that easily now. Would this man be any different? Cat even held his own against the rat man that seemed impossible to beat. Cat put his Katana back in the sheath and waited for the marine's next move. His right hand placed itself gently on the tip of the handle; this was to make sure that he had enough time to swing it if anyone tried to get near him. Cat waited, with his wide stance, and concentrated.

The man sighed as Cat easily took down the two men he sent after the female.  He twisted his neck to the right and then to the left, cracking it.  The release in tension felt good, and now it was time to go to work.  Razz tapped his feet on the deck, checking the wood that was used on the ship.  "Soru"  The man appeared to stomp once or maybe twice depending on the viewers perception of the event.  However no matter what, it would look like the man had plan disappeared.  Razz appeared behind Cat, a foot or two in front of Ada.  

He sheathed his blade that no one would have even seen him unsheathe.  If his attack wasn't someone blocked a three in long cut would appear on Cat's cheek a few inches below his right eye.  Razz bent down and looked Ada in the eyes.  "My, you don't look like you belong here.  However the reports we got from the towns people contradict that." Razz said with a large smile on his face.  "I guess we'll just have to take you in for questioning, it shouldn't take more than six months or so to clear your name." he said standing back up.  Razz then turned around and looked at Cat, he grabbed the hilt of his sword.  "Oh yeah, we should continue no?"  

The two marines facing Desais were able to jump the blade, his slow was slow. The blade would be heavy for his level of strength, not to mention his lack of technique. While one blocked the next attack from Desais, the other went in for the attack. He pulled his cutlass and slashed as Desais' chest.

The weight of the weapon definitely through Desais off guard. Although he lifted it and knew the weight, that didn't mean he could wield it easily. Desais now knew this battle wasn't gonna go well and he was gonna get much more wounds than what he had hoped for. Damn, this weapon is going to be the death of me, but I need something to defend myself with. Desais thought as he jumped back as quickly as he could to get out of the slash to his chest. The weapon slide on the wood of the boat as he moved. Just in the nick of time, Desais had dodged the attack.

After dodging the attack, Desais put both hands on the blade and swung it around in a complete 360 towards the opponents. Once through, Desais quickly let go and attempted to punch one of them right in the gut. Hopefully I can at least cause some sort of damage. If not then I am going to be defending most of this fight Desais thought as the smile slowly faded from his face.

The marine that Desais punched in the stomach staggered back for an instant. He was ready for a slow sword attack, most people would have been. Neither of the two marines had expected Desais to throw a punch mover a swing of a sword. Especially when the sword he was holding was one of great or even ultimate quality. As his buddy was recovering, the marine that hadn't received damage charged Desais. He swung his blade at Desais, however he wasn't trying to hit him. The foe was trying to push Desais back towards the edge of the ship.

With the time the attacking marine bought, the other had recovered from the light blow Desais had given him. Neither of the marines were really that much stronger if at all; they just had techniques and weapons within their level to use. The second marine charged forward, while the first was still attacking. In an instant, the first marine pulled away from the battle as the second jumped into the air. He was trying to kicked Desais overboard. If he succeeded in actually hitting Desais, it wouldn't necessarily mean Desais would actually fall.

Cat suddenly felt someone around him. He didn't see the attack coming this time though.. but Cat didn't know why. What he did read was a quick sword slash that was heading his way. Cat couldn't do anything about it though, he was just too slow. He felt a gash form under his eye, and he knew why.. he just couldn't stop it. Cat took a few steps backwards. The man had somehow gotten between him and Ada.. and quickly. Cat didn't know how he did it. He overheard the word 'soru' but didn't know how that was related to the speed the man had. The cut under his eyes was a friendly reminder that he was outmatched. Cat was angry, just a moment ago he was powerful.. now he felt like the enemy had an upper hand he didn't see coming.
 
Cat stopped and ran forward, overhearing what the man had to say to Ada, and responded to his last comment about continuing the fight. "We'll continue the fight, but I'll end it!!" Cat unsheathed his sword and swung horizontally, in a circle, to try and slice him in half. Cat then used that same spin to go to the floor and point his swords tip at the enemy. Cat then attempted to penetrate the man with his quick sword attempting to jab him in the abdomen. Cat knew this area was easier to penetrate then others.

Desais gracefully dodged each sword attack that fell upon him. Hmmm it doesn't really seem like he is trying to hit me. Desais thought as he kept dodging the attacks. Desais kept on backing up further and further to the edge of the ship. Looking behind him, Desais realized what they were doing. Those bastards are trying to make me swim with the fishes! Desais thought as he turned his head around. But it was too late, the other marine came upon Desais quickly and kicked him square in the chest. The wind got knocked out of him but luckily for Desais, he wasn't close enough to the edge to fall overboard.

Quickly Desais grabbed the marine's leg before it touched the ground, and he pulled it hard so as to make the marine trip and fall. Once the marine was on the ground, Desais stomped his chest in. Then focusing on the other marine Desais swung his blade at an angle downward from the marines right shoulder to his legs. Then followed it up with round house kick to the head.

Raz took the sword and placed his second hand on the blade of it.  He used it to brace against Cat's attack, allowing Cat's attack to slide away from him like it was nothing.  It was as if Cat was moving in slow motion to the marine he was fighting.  All of the sudden the man seemed like he was fell towards the side and lost his balance.  It was at the same time Cat tried to stab the man through the abdomen.   It appeared that when Cat's thrust occurred the man was still there, however the sword penetrated nothing more than an image of a man that was no longer there.  

In an instant the man had spun around Cat and his thrusting attack before stopping behind Cat, facing him.  The man slashed four times in one single instant.  If the slashes were successful it would form a capital R on Cat's back.  If he survived the battle, he would likely have that symbol carved into his back for the rest of his life.  That is unless he somehow covered it up with a brand or tattoo of some kind.  Razz chuckled a little as he waited for Cat to respond to him.  If he wanted Cat dead, he'd likely have been able to strike a fatal blow by now.  "Come on Jack the Cat Gato.  I was told you were stronger than this." said the marine mocking his foe.  

The marine was surprised when Desais had grabbed his leg. He hadn't expected something like that, so he fell forward. The marines face smashed into the railing of the ship causing blood to stream down his face. It was likely the man had outright broken his nose if not fractured part of his face or skull. When Desais stomped on the man's chest, he coughed up blood before passing out. There was a good chance the marine has a collapsed lung and would die without treatment. The second marine stepped back avoiding the slow sword swing. Thanks to the distance he had put between himself and Desais he was able to also avoid the roundhouse kick. With that opening, the marine lifted his foot attempting to nail Desais between the legs.

Cat stabbed something that disappeared. The marine was no longer there. In an instant he appeared behind Cat again, and this time he felt a large slash behind his back. It was so quick he couldn't tell how many times he was hit. Cat fell to the ground, on his knees, with blood pooling down his shirt and hitting the ground. Cat tried to stand up as fast as he could and attempted to slash the opponent's legs horizontally while h was in a low position. This was to cut his legs and force him to lose the battle. Right after the attack Cat used his free hand to grab his sheath and attempt to slam the opponents face with it. If Cat succeeded the man would get some slight trauma in the head area.
 
"You heard about me? And Iken told me I wasn't famous! I'll have to tell him 'I told you so' after the battle is over." Cat stumbled a little. His endurance was enough to ignore some of the damage, but not all of it. The three gashes were deep enough to scar him, which was deep enough to hurt. Blood started to move down his body with the R written on his back. Cat smiled at the enemy. "You'll see, we'll make it out of this. When we do, you'll be sorry."

Desais's eyes widened as he saw the man step back and put all that power into a kick. The attack that was to come surprised Desais. He did not expect a marine to go so low as to kick a man in his royal jewels. Desais had no time to react and ended up taking a full blown kick to the go nads. "UGH!" spurted out Desais as he reached for his pearly jewels. "What sort of man kicks another man in his royal crests?" asked Desais to the marine. But this was no time to rub his preciousess, for he was in a battle.

Desais wiggled the pain off as much as he could and focused on his target. Realizing that the weapon would just weigh him down, Desais dropped the sword and rushed his opponent. Once he got close, Desais uppercut-ted the man and then laid into him with a few jabs. Then, with a fine spin, Desais kicked out the man's feet from under him with a low swinging kick. Hopefully for sure this would take the man down.

Razz jumped in the air avoiding the blow to his feet from Cat and his blade. Even Cat's quick spin was slow to the speedy Razz, the marine captain. However it almost looked like Cat's second attack would hit the man while he was airborne. Unfortunately, he spun midair avoiding that blow as well. Razz landed sliding a bit before lunging and attempting to slash at Cat from the front this time. His attack was straight forward this time, however it was just as quick as the others.

He bobbed a weaved to avoid the uppercut by moving his head so Desais didn't have a steady target to hit. The marine then crossed his arm and attempted to block Desais' jabs. For the most part the marine was successful enough, reducing the already minimal damage a little bit more. By the time Desais had attempted to kick the marine, he realized he still had his sword. The marine used it to attempt to stab Desais' leg into the deck of the ship. If he was successful he would then run around Desais out his range and punch him, mocking him and the crew.

Iken seen his blade hit the ground once again as Desais dropped it. The blade was just to advanced for someone with low strength and no kind of technique to back it up to use a sword like that. Slowly Iken began to crawl towards his blade, a trail of blood was smudged on deck behind him as he drug himself. None of the marines really paid attention to him, they didn't think a man that looked and acted like he was half dead already was a threat to them. Iken grabbed his sword and flopped over onto his back and breathed heavily trying to catch his breath. As he laid there he stared up at the ever darkening clouds, as he did he almost blacked out. However Iken pulled himself back into consciousness when a drop of water hit his face.

Ada was frozen in spot as the marines charged her. She was frightened as she thought about what they could do to her, what kind of torture she would go through. She was also really scared for her friends' well being. She hadn't realized she was friends with them, as much as she had wanted to, but when the man, who know she knew was called Iken, yelled at the boy to protect their friends, she was really happy and flattered even, to be called their "friend". However, the circumstance didn't allow Ada to even smile a bit, and she was actually starting to cry as things happened right before her eyes, being unable to help her friends at all. She was dead weight. She had already thought about it multiple times, but what could she possibly do when all she knew was how to cut vegetables, bake cookies and things of the like? Ada looked down at the floor for one second, closing her eyes and thinking about a possible way to help. None came.

When she looked up she realized that someone was standing behind the boy, cutting him right under his eye. Her eyes widened slightly and in the blink of an eye (or possibly even faster than that) a man was standing between her and the boy. Ada was shaking from fear as the man spoke to her, his voice void of emotion. She had never met a man like that before. He just scared Ada a lot. He spoke about her not seeming to belong with these people, and that it was too bad but they would take her away anyway. She shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts but before she even knew it, the man had started to fight with the boy, that apparently was named Jack the cat Gato. Ada figured she would call him Cat.

Ada felt his pain as Cat took every blow, cut and slash. Specially the one in the back. She had hoped to open her mouth, try to warn him about the attack, but everything happened to fast for her to even notice before it was too late. Ada started slowly backing away, moving at the same time towards Iken, who was laying on the deck, seemingly not moving at all. She hoped he was fine, as fine as he could possibly be. Just as she kept moving really slowly, it started to rain.

Cat actually had time for this one. Cat saw the man flip in the air after Cat attempted to strike him. The man then prepared himself for an attack the second his feet hit the ground and charged forward towards Cat. He was too fast, but the second Cat got the image of the opponent trying to stab him in an area that would kill him he moved his body ever so slightly to another area of the abdomen in a feeble attempt to escape. The sword narrowly missed Cat, but it left a nasty gash on the left side of his abdomen. Cat then, using his sword, attempted to run past him and swing his sword horizontally attempting to slice his upper body in half.
 
Cat then saw more blood start to move to the ground. This time it was on his left side. Cat was still standing, however, and that was the scary part. Cat turned around, while looking at the captain, and smiled. "You won't get rid of me that easily.. punk." When Cat smiled some blood could be seen on his teeth and dropped to the floor. Cat had remarkable perception and agility compared to an average person, but this man was obviously in another level. Cat took positioned his sword to stab and separated his legs. He was going to try to counter the next blow. Cat wasn't going to give up on this fight.

Noticing the marine reach for his blade, Desais backed off a bit. Instead of following completely through with the sweep to the legs, Desais pushed off the ground and sent a punch upwards to the man's chin. Man isn't this exhilarating! I've practically forgot all the pain to my....nevermind Desais thought as he realized the pain to his testicles again. Even though his mind came back to his pain in his balls, Desais didn't faulter. He knew that if he did, his man-balls wouldn't be the only thing hurting.

After sending the punch upwards, Desais swung his legs around like a whirlwind. Hopefully this'll catch him off guard and make him drop his sword. Or maybe I'll get cut to shreds. Whichever one. I'm looking towards the latter. Desais thought as he started to enjoy the fight that was at hand. Of course not knowing how his other compatriots were fairing along. This not once has even crossed his mind. The fight felt like something that some kids would do in a school yard.

Razz bent backwards and avoided Cat's powerful slash. Even if Cat had all the strength in the world at that point, it wouldn't have mattered. Razz was just to fast and too agile for someone like Cat to hit in a one on one battle. Maybe if there were two or three others there distracting Razz at the same time, he then may have been able to hit Razz. However at that point, Razz was not only able to dodge Cat's attack; he was able to do it easily. If there was a spectator to the fight it would look like Razz was only toying with Cat. It was a completely one sided battle at that point. Slowly but surely Cat's endurance would be whittled down until he was unable to fight anymore. Razz held his blade up and pointed it at Cat. Stepping forward, Razz began to jab his sword at Cat, he was able to thrust his blade towards Cat four times a second in a string of three combos. Twelve total quick light thrusting attacks all in three seconds. Razz intentionally aimed for Cat's joints and areas that would disable, but not kill.

Seeing that Desais' attack pattern was nearly the same as the first time, it was easy for the marine to not only predict but dodge Desais' attempts at an attack. The marine stepped to the side avoiding the punch upwards before jumping back to avoid the whirlwind like attack. It would have been almost too easy for the marine to guard with his sword and let Desais damage himself. It was obvious the marines foe was desperate, his thinking was inhibited. The marine was going to end it, he leaped forward and tried to cut Desais' shoulder to stop him from fighting any further.

The marines cutlass and the half of his arm that held onto it fell to the deck of the ship before he was able to complete his attack on Desais. Iken took the man by the neck with his free hand and threw him into two more marines that were attempting to board. The three of them fell into the water with a splash. A pool of blood slowly crawled through the water spreading outwards from the man's severed arm. Despite stopping two more marines from boarding, another two had successfully made it on the ship using ropes to swing from their ship to Iken's.

This attack definitely surprised Desais. It kind of frightened him a bit, but then he went back to being amazed. This guy just doesn't stop amazing me! Desais thought to himself as he saw the two new marine members board the ship. Desais turned and found a cannon. Deciding it was the best idea, Desais went to the cannon and began firing upon the marines ship. He aimed for the most vunerable points of the ship. Desais shot at the powder kegs and the other men of the ship. Running from one cannon to the other, Desais kept on firing upon the ship. If we can destroy the ship, we may be able to stop the marines from keeping on boarding this ship. As well as get their captain to pay more attention to his crew and ship. Desais thought as he continued firing.

Upon going from cannon to cannon, Desais found a weapons rack. Taking advantage of the weapons rack, Desais grabbed a few swords. These should come in handy. Thought Desais as he began to load more canon balls in the cannons. The rain began to soothe the wounds on Desais's body. It felt really good to Desais, and it allowed for more endurance. The outfit Desais was wearing started to get drenched, and the blood flowed through it. Even though he had bandages, the blood still flowed.

Cat suddenly felt the presence of danger. After the attack he made the opponent seemed to easily dodge it. Cat was having an impossible time trying to dodge everything the opponent threw at him. Cat then felt the presence of danger right after his attack. Cat reacted to the danger almost instantly, and 'saw' the attacks that went his way. Cat jumped in the air before the opponent even swung his sword. The opponents reaction time wasn't skilled enough to change direction instantly, it would only increase his speed. The attacks aimed at his foot originally were missed, and the ones that aimed at his shoulders hit his legs.

Cat then, while falling, span around again to try and slice through the man's face. When he landed on the ground he heard a snap from his hip area. The femoral head had been hit directly with the sword, ultimately breaking the part of the femur that connected to the acetabulum (Cat had his hip broken and sliced by the sword). Both of cats legs were worthless, and bleeding out. The opponent also hit an artery, which made the bleeding out process imminent. Cat's observation haki had evolved to the point where he could defend against the attack.. semi. But, it was too late. His body couldn't move nearly fast enough to block the opponent. Cat felt weak. A sudden realization fell through Cat. "Am I going to leave my friends behind? What will I tell them? How will I break it to them?" (Cat's thoughts)

Iken held his sword as the two marine concentrated on him, they finally seen the captain of the crew as a threat. It almost hurt Iken's pride that it took that long for them to notice him. Taking his sword by the hilt, Iken pulled his sword and attack all in one motion. "Black Slash" The heavy, sharp blade cut through the marines' chests like it was nothing. Only a large cavity remained after Iken's attacks, he had killed them almost as easily as Razz had dealt with Cat. As Desais was trying to reload the cannons they were shot from out of under him. The marines used their superior cannons to destroy the deck under them causing them to fall into the ocean. The ship now had no more cannons, kind of weird it only had them on one side.

Razz leaned back to avoid Cat's attack, using his agility to flexibly dodge. When Cat landed it was obvious that he was seriously if not fatally wounded. His legs buckled under him causing him to fall to the ground. It was like looking at a house cat that had tried to jump over a speeding car. It was a valiant effort, but they would die all the same; only this way it would take much longer and be much more painful. Razz pitied his foe, but he knew he still had to disarm him. It was quick, Razz jabbed at Cat twice, the blows were aimed for his shoulders. If the attacks hit, they would disable Cat's shoulders and there for his arms.

Jumping out of the way of the falling cannon, Desais looked down into the deep. "Nevermind, I guess we have no more cannons." Desais said as he smiled at the marines crew. Deciding he should pay attention to what is happening on their own ship, Desais turned around. Desais saw Iken, obliterate the other two marines that boarded and also noticed Cat needed help. Grabbing both his swords tightly in the palm of his hands, Desais rushed towards Razz.

I know I'm no match for this guy, but Cat doesn't look good. He definitely needs help. Desais said as he gritted his teeth. As he came in Desais spun himself around like a twister towards Razz. His swords pointing both outwards as they sliced at the air towards Razz. Desais stopped spinning as he landed right next to Cat. "Hey man, sorry I'm late." Desais said as he held his swords in a defensive X form preparing for an attack.

Cat watched his attack miss before he landed on the ground. His weight caused his legs to cave in. Almost immediately afterwards though, he was disarmed completely. Two quick jabs of the sword hit his humeral head and disconnected them both from the glenoid cavity. Cat's shoulders were completely dislocated and slashed. Cat saw more blood show itself to the bottom. He fell to his arms and then to his side. Cat saw the attack coming, but his body refused to move as fast as his mind told it to move. Too much blood was lost, and the opponent was too quick. Cat fell to the ground, on his side, and his mind began to wander. Blood started to pool under him.

Cat started to think about his life. His parents dying, his brother leaving and never returning. Cat never found his only family. But what if his crew could tell the brother for him? Cat didn't know if he was alive, but if he was alive.. Iken would find him eventually. Cat remembered the things about his life that he didn't think about before. How Dante told him to study so he could become something more then a guard one day, and to stop being lazy. If Cat were smarter maybe the group wouldn't be in this predicament. Cat might not have caused the death of everyone in this ship. Two tears fell from both of his eyes and dropped to their side, like the blood that was slowly moving through his body. The tears moved faster and hit the ground. Cat smiled, "Don't get too close to me.. I might.. *cough* bite you.." Cat wanted to look tough even in the moment before his death. In his last moment, his last battle, he wanted to look at death in the face and smile at him.
