Karasu sighed when he saw Avis stand up and start walking in the direction of the door. She was pissed about Karasu shooting her in the leg, which was a problem. Karasu took off the wig, and the coat, and spoke in a clear tone so Avis would understand. "This problem goes beyond your personal feelings towards me, Avis. You may think oddly of me, but I want you to at least try to put that aside and focus on what's important. Our lives. I can't fight Derge and his army on my own. I need help. Without your assistance I fear that there won't be enough power to defend the island." Karasu turned around in the stool and looked at Avis. Karasu had a bottle of rum on his hand, which he took from the shelf under the table in the bartenders side.

Karasu walked to the other side of the table and took out a glass cup and placed it on the counter. He then poured the entire bottle on the big glass container and left it on Avis's side, where she was sitting. "Why don't you sit down. I'll pour you a few drinks. My guns, as you can clearly see, are on the counter. I won't be shooting you today", Karasu said mockingly. He took another container and filled it with whiskey. Karasu then started drinking it, it all tasted the same to him.. so he didn't care if he had whiskey, rum, or even beer. It was all the same to his taste buds.

He needed... her help?  Of all the things Avis expected him to say, that was not one of them.  Her expression softened somewhat and she stopped in her tracks.  She must have been going mental.  Maybe it was the medicine the doctor had her take, but Avis considered taking his offer.  First off, she hadn't had quite enough to drink yet.  Particularly if someone else was picking up the tab.  Secondly, she was quite the sucker for compliments when it came to her strength.  She still considered him a sleazeball, but at least he had a working pair of eyes in his skull now.  It wouldn't hurt to at least hear what he had to say and what his plans were.  Assuming he spoke in earnest.  Her hesitation was apparent in the way her brows furrowed, but Avis turned around and returned to the counter.  In a gesture of fairness, she set her swords in a heap on top of the counter off to the side of Karasu's weapons.

"Someone doesn't trust the shady fellow that resigned from his post and stalks people in his spare time?  No kidding."  She pulled the stool opposite of Karasu far enough out for her to sit on.  While he didn't seem to be doing anything particularly suspicious at the time being, Avis watched his every move with care.  After he had taken to his glass she drank as well.  There was a moment of silence as the beverage settled before she spoke again.

"I'm listening."  Avis kept the rest of her thoughts to herself for the time being, and simply waited for Karasu to speak his part.

Karasu smirked when Avis came back and basically called Karasu a stalker. It was true, which is why he smirked. Following someone for hundreds of miles in a ship for days and going as far as dressing as someone else to confuse said someone is definitely something a stalker would do. However, Karasu was a 'good' stalker. He had to learn to follow people undetected to kill them, in Avis's case he had to learn to follow them so he could find them when they were alone. Now that Avis finally sat down Karasu let a small smile creep to his cheekbones. He drank his alcohol and waited for Avis to say something. It was better if he waited for the 'ok' before beginning his explanation. When she gave the ok Karasu put the glass on the counter. He looked directly at Avis's eyes to make sure she was paying attention, most people would look away after seeing into the eyes of a killer; Karasu knew Avis wouldn't look away however.

"Derge can create zombies, what the report probably doesn't mention is that he can control blood as well.. like most logia. If he can control the blood of those zombies, since that is how he revived them, it can mean many problems for us. Basically, all of them are more powerful then their living days. On top of that.. I have a lot of theories behind what he can do with their blood. However, we'll have to grab the information for ourselves. What they gave us in the meeting probably wasn't everything they had on Derge. I'm almost certain they have more. Before I make a plan to fight him we have to know everything we can about him. Right now I only have one plan to fight him, besides the usual 'kill everything I see that is a suspected zombie'." Karasu explained. He started to look for a good brand of.. whatever these bottles were. He eventually found one he recognized. Looking at the prices the drink seemed to be the most expensive. He placed the clear bottle on the counter and gave Avis one of the smaller cups. Karasu poured her a drink that made it to two fingers from the cup.

"My original plan is to use lightning. Blood is 85% water from what my doctor explained to me. There is also traces of iron. This makes lightning a key element in the fight.. however, I have to be sure there isn't more I should worry about."

Verve

"You leave out too many details, karasu ammo."

Verve appeared next to the doorway, throwing his knives, axes, and poison on the counter. He was still wary of bruce, being sure to detect him if necessary. He was going to do his job right, afterall.

"If it is truly a blood logia, Derge can also control the composition of the blood. Bloods primary element is the cells. The cells are covered in various conductive ions, such as salt, sodium, iodine, chlorine, and etc. Even though water itself is an insulator, it amplifies said conductivity in the cells, not to mention the magnesium and iron compounds. Electricity is likely his greatest weakness. There is one key thing though; too much electricity might seperate the water from the blood, making it far less effective. Still effective, but I'd estimate at 20%. Once he realizes we know his weakness, he'll probably recompose the blood to have high amounts of the few insulators in the body, and lower the water content. If it was so simple as shocking him, we wouldn't need you Avis. But there's more too it, of course."

Verve keep his eyes directed outside, as if keeping watch. He talked low, just enough for avis and karasu to hear him but not so loud as to hinder his own hearing. He was listening intently for bruce. He didn't like the idea of an unwelcome interruption.

"What would be really great is if we could get rid of the iron and magnesium. Those two give the most issues with the blood post electrocution. If we can somehow keep the blood at high water content and remove the magnesium and iron, derge will not only have electro-phobic blood, but it will be unable to be used as a weapon, in the sense of bullets, swords, and etc nearly as well. Post those details, we need berserkers. People who can hit Derge where it hurts, and not get hurt themselves. People who fight Derge, not his blood. There is also the possibility he will not risk the dangers of losing the bodies he has collected and not use the zombies... In which case, we won't win anyway. If he doesn't use his zombies, he has an ulterior motive. Something more in mind. Something we are missing. If we are missing something and are merely puppets in his strings, I'll be really pissed. With that, I'm going to go back outside to keep watch."

"After giving his little speech and listening to any replies, he went back to the roof and looked for bruce again."

Dagon

Dagon saw the slaves... And their few guards. He quickly killed the guards with stealth, and broke the bars holding those yet to be sold. He had to hurry. Making a mistake would kill him and the slaves, and he had more to free.

"Come on, you're free now."

Judo Chop

Dagon chopped the collars and chains, launching them away and making holes in the walls for his escape. Since he entered discretely, it would look like hew as a slave being freed too.

shift

He repeated this process at other slave houses, whether they were auction storage or worker storage. He was happy to see that no mermaid or merman slaves were nearby. Less complications if he doesn't have to help them escape. He looked up at the red line, barely visible from the island if you looked hard. Maybe he could take the battle to the dragons themselves. Maybe he could shift and float his way up to the holy land and free those slaves. Not yet. He had to free the easy ones now. The dangerous task could be handled later. If both succeeded, maybe he'd have enough time to kill a bunch of slave sellers and auctioneers. Maybe he could even kill a celestial dragon or two before the end. Make it that would certainly get attention, and with no admiral to retaliate...

A young man carrying a satchel on his back walked through Shabondy. He whistled while he walked almost a skip in his step. He walked further down the path, he wore a brown hat along with a camouflage coloured singlet. His body was quite well toned and he also wore brown jeans and slippers. He whistled as he picked up something off the ground , he turned around patting the shoulder of the man who walked past him, it was a pirate who looked quite annoyed "WHAT DO YOU WANT?!!" The young man extended his hand, giving the pirate a bag "I think you dropped this" The pirate immediately calmed down and bowed down a bit "Oh.. thanks kid" The young man then grinned "Its alright , no problemo !!" The man walked away as he looked around. He was in the course of looking for someone. He walked through hearing noises in the distance. The young man wondered what it was, it was clear to him that someone was being killed, there was a hint of blood in the air, however he had no time for this yet. He would have to deal with it later.

He looked up at the bar entrance, this being the umpteenth bar he had tried in Shabondy. He looked up to the sky, noticing how dark it was becoming. There was going to be a storm around here soon enough. He entered the bar, and saw the person he was looking for , talking to a weirdly strange looking man. He also saw another strange looking man who walked past him to go up to the roof, as the beak faced man walked past him the young man said "Better be careful.. rain is coming soon.... i think" The young man smiled as he looked to Avis, only reacgonizing her amongst this bar. "Captain, there you are..." Killua smiled standing there, he hoped she wasnt too shocked at how much he had grown over the years.

The stare Karasu gave Avis phased her little.  Her strikingly hazel eyes seemed unaffected by prolonged eye contact as she soaked the information in.  She also noted the thin scar on the left side of his face.  It was something she hadn't noticed before, but Avis gave no hint of spotting it.  When Verve then suddenly appeared in the doorway, Avis gave a heavy sigh of frustration.  Another one?  What did she do to deserve this.  She thought by the end of the last shichibukai meeting, they would be out to kill her at this point - not sit down and try to talk her into joining a crazy escapade of theirs.  It was tiring.  Hopefully there would not be any further uninvited guests.

"Seriously, you too?  Aaagh... " Avis massaged her temples with one of her hands, the freshly poured drink picked up by the other.  "Have either of you considered to actually talk to people, instead of following them around behind their backs?  You might make a few more friends that way."

"As for Derge, I don't claim to know how the psychopathic madman thinks.  I know next to nothing about the guy.  If you expect me to keep the maniac busy, I need full disclosure.  Entirely.  No more of this shady stalking business, involving me at least.  There will be no secrets regarding the issue between us until this Derge matter is taken care of.  Assuming I choose to lend you my aid.  Which I haven't decided yet, mind you...  And what did Verve mean about keeping watch?  From what?"

Almost on cue, a young man walked into the bar and addressed her directly.  Captain?  It had been a while since anyone had referred to her as that.  Avis didn't immediately recognize the fellow.  Something seemed familar about him though.  It was at the tip of her tongue.  Something about his posture and tone of voice.  When his face lit up with a smile, that's when it clicked.  She found it hard to believe it was the same person, but it was certainly him: Killua Dojima, one of the few individuals Avis had trusted enough to call her own.

"K-... Killua?  It's been a few years, kiddo."  A broad and genuine smile unknowingly slipped onto Avis' face.  The laugh that followed had a uncharacteristically giddy quality about it.  "Look at you!  Time has been treating you well, eh?"  She leapt from her seat and marched up to the navigator, reaching out to give him an affectionate smack on the back.  "You absolutely must tell me what you've all been up to.  I insist-"  Avis paused the moment she realized Karasu was still in the room, and Verve nearby.  Maybe now wasn't the best time.  As much as she loathed to admit it, catching up could wait.  It wouldn't hurt to do it when there weren't any outside ears listening either.

"On second thought, maybe we should wait until after these matters are settled.  Please; sit.  Drink if you'd like.  He's more than capable of being entrusted with whatever we discuss."  Avis gestured to the unoccupied stool on her right hand side.  She expected Karasu to be accepting of this proposition.  There were few things Avis would not trust her own crew with, and that ought to be enough for him.

Karasu listened to Verve when he walked in. Avis didn't seem to like him very much, because when he showed up she was in temporary denial from the sound of her words. She didn't like him being in the room. Karasu smirked though, Verve was definitely a doctor that they'll need for this expedition. Then he left without taking his weapons with him. Karasu didn't say anything, since he might need the poison later on. Avis then gave her statement. She asked Karasu to stop stalking her, to which he smiled. He'll have to find a new hobby. Avis also mentioned that she'd be keeping Derge busy, Karasu sighed. Fei, Bruce, and the bird giant are the muscle in the table. Avis was perfect for other things. Karasu will have to explain later. Then Avis asked about Verve's statement about watching out for something. Karasu sighed, another thing he'll have to explain.

"Done, no more 'stalking'. Verve is keeping watch for an annoyance that has been following me. He'll just make sure we're not interrupted." Karasu was himself interrupted, at that moment, by a kid that walked in the room. Avis walked up to him and acted friendly. The bartender next to Karasu, bleeding, tried to mumble something like 'help.. me..' but Karasu kicked him in the face, knocking him out. The vulture then separated its sharp talons and flew up to the ceiling. He stopped flapping its wings and landed on the ceiling support. He sat on it like he would a chair. Karasu then listened to Avis and nodded his head. Karasu didn't want to think about what he'd have to do if the situation called for a witness. Things turned out for the better.

Karasu took off his coat, wig, and sunglasses and placed them on the counter (beside the weapons to not cover them). "I'll continue talking then. Our main mission, right now, will be to break into marijois and grab the information we need on Derge. If we asked and they denied us then we'll be the number one suspects for breaking in and grabbing the information. In other words, it's better to do it without them thinking we'll try something. Worse case scenario, we get caught and possibly hanged. Although I doubt the second part will happen. Best case scenario, we get the information without ever being noticed or caught. As far as I know, this is the best plan. We'll need a diversion team as well. Killua might be a part of it." Karasu laid out as much of the information as he could at once. He paused at the thought of Killua being a part of the diversion. He doesn't know the kids strength yet. However, the marines probably don't know much about his recent 'upgrades'. Avis didn't even know where he was located. It's best to have him wear a mask and grab their attention.

The corner of Avis' mouth curled upwards into a smirk when Karasu stated his intentions to infiltrate Mariejois.  Now he had her interested piqued.  A bit of danger to get the blood pumping, and a way to get back at the World Government for their ignorant treatment of her recently?  Sounded like fun.  It was just what her inner troublemaker craved.  If she was to join the fight against Derge, she surely wasn't going to do it blindly.  Any additional information would be vital.  Joining this venture seemed like the best option for getting it.  Avis didn't exactly know more about this intel gathering sort of thing.  As much as she would have loathed to admit it, Verve and Karasu definitely had the advantage when it came to that.  Maybe there would be some benefits to taking the offer.  She rubbed the back of her neck as her mind debated back and forth internally.  It was just too tempting for her resist anymore.  Avis threw up her hands and gave up trying to convince herself against it.  A bit of excitement was just what she wanted.  Even if it might eventually get herself involved with that demonic blood man.

"...  Yanno what?  Fine.  I'm in.  I'll fill Killua in when there's a chance, then he can decide if he wants to be involved or not.  But don't get to thinking that we're pals or anything.  If I get even the slightest inkling of foul play behind my back, we're done.  Capisce?"  Avis extended an open hand across the counter for a hand shake to seal the deal.  Hopefully she wouldn't come to regret this.  Hell hath no fury like a properly motivated Avis Ridley.

Karasu nodded and shook Avis's hand. She seemed to understand the situation they had to face. Derge was getting stronger, and they needed to know as much as possible on him. He had a smiled crept across his face since the beginning of their conversation, before Killua showed up in the room. Karasu then decided to add more after what Avis said,

"There is a chance the decoys are going to die. It's very likely that they'll all end up dead before we even find the information. We'll have to find a way out afterwards as well; which will be challenging when none of us can use our powers to fight. You, me , and Verve will have to go in and out without getting noticed. If we are noticed we have to kill whatever sees us. Karasu mentioned the last statement because they will be doing a lot of bad things. If they were caught they could lose their titles very easily. But, with Verve and Karasu that shouldn't be possible. Karasu had other people that could give him a layout of the majority of the map, the hard part will be figuring out the area where the information (or library) is located. They'll have to literally ask the people inside when they get there. Hopefully the people Karasu sends will be able to survive the duration of the mission without any significant losses.

Karasu will have to send his best men to fight this battle. But they will all be handicapped. At the thought of losing assassins Karasu picked up his glass and drank the clear liquor that was inside. The purity of the drink burned Karasu's throat, or it should have but he seemed fine. He placed the now empty glass on the counter.

Killua huffed a bit as Avis hit him on the back. He laughed a bit remembering how direct Avis was always, it was part of the reason he was so attracted to her. Killua then sat down next to Avis listening in on the conversation while trying to get a drink but then noticing the bartender was out cold. Killua opened his mouth to try and say something but then thought it actually might be better to say nothing, mainly because Killua was just asked to be a diversion. Killua then raised his eyes while filling a empty glass with milk. Killua was not completely used to drinking alcohol so he usually stuck to things like milk and what not. He often found his tolerance to alcohol was the cause of some bad situations.

Killua watched the strange man standing there talking to his captain and he simply watched the mans demeanour, it was enough to know the man was quite important and notorious. He knew know that Avis was a shichibukai her standing amongst the worlds ranks meant she would have to deal with figures like this. Killua wondered who exactly he was. The man was clearly someone who was more aligned with piracy since he spoke about breaking into Mariejois of all places. Killua then heard his captain putting her faith in him , he then spoke "Well since im back with Captain Avis i will do anything she asks of me.... but you mentioned Derge.... who is that exactly? Captain i didnt know you were helping others now, you've come a long way" Killua smiled widely, he always remembered Avis was the kind of person to blow things up rather than help them. But then again, he also remembered Avis was kind enough to let him join the crew when he was younger , he really loved every moment of the time they had together in the Desperados, even he had to admit, he missed her dearly over the years where she decided to wander.

Karasu's plan sounded risky to Avis.  This didn't bother her so much, but she wasn't keen on sending Killua to something that'd likely result in his death.  Particularly after just reuniting without knowing how far his strength had come.  She swirled the remainder of the golden hued liquid in her glass and focused her gaze on it.  Killua had put his trust in her, again.  Even after all the mishaps they had in the past.  It would've been easier for him to just forget about her entirely, but he came back of his own free will.  This unwavering loyalty was precious to her and something she would not take lightly.  Avis took a swig and drained her cup.

"I'm not one for sneaking around.  Take Killua with your covert group, and I'll make a ruckus with the decoys.  Why you'd think I'm good at getting around unnoticed, I have no clue.  Even without use of my devil fruit abilities I could send plenty of them packing."  A bottle on the other side of the counter caught her eye.  She grabbed it without hesitation and removed the cork with a satisfying pop.  Her improved demeanor and relatively chattiness was becoming apparent.  Whether it was because of Killua's sudden appearance or the abundance of alcohol was debatable.  When Killua demonstrated an interest in the topics being discussed, Avis decided it wouldn't hurt to talk over some of it briefly.  Enough to give him a basic idea.  Did he seriously think she would do this out of the kindness of her heart?  How amusing.

"Hah!  Fat chance," Avis chuckled as she gestured toward her wounded knee.  "That smug asshole shot me in the leg then had the nerve to track me all the way here.  All for a master plan to take down Derge Namikaze, the 'Blood Demon'.  He consumed the blood logia and has run amok for some time now.  Besides being a major pain in the posterior, this monster just outright murdered one of the Yonkou the other day.  Rumor has it he's got Fishman Island in his sights next."

"The only reason I'm playing along is to get back at the big bad government for being a touch rude lately.  As I'm sure you've heard I was given the title of warlord a while ago.  I've been behaving up until this point, as per our agreement, but as of late the relationship has become a bit...  strained."  She had an audible tone of irritation in her voice by this point.  Letting Fei into the shichibukai ranks was a primary factor of her displeasure, but she wasn't going to discuss the matter then.  Not without needing some seriously destructive stress release.

Karasu listened to Avis's statement. She didn't know how bad of an idea it was, and how much risk came with exposing one of the shichibukai to a direct confrontation with the marines. Karasu took a moment to let Avis finish her statement then spoke to her, while glancing back at Killua every few words to make sure he was listening. "We're going to break into the marine base to make sure we don't get caught. That means not putting ourselves in any situation that would put us at risk. Without your powers you will be very limited against a vice admiral, you'll probably be forced to use your devil fruit abilities sooner then we can find the information. Killua will add to the distraction's force, which should make a difference in making sure they come back alive. I'll need your powers with me, anyways; it's easier to kill targets from a distance with your devil fruit powers, at least, without arising suspicion or giving us unwanted attention."

Karasu then saw Avis laugh at Killua's proclamation about them being friendly. Karasu smiled as well. Killua seemed like the innocent type. "Can you fight well, Killua? Our group of 3 should be enough to infiltrate the base, but we need a good distraction for that to work. I need to know if you've been involved with any marines recently.. or if any of them have ever seen you fight."

Killua sighed as he smiled "Just like you captain, i knew there was some reason you joined, though i was a bit shocked. Still i guess you being you is just fine, i dont mind doing anything if your in charge," Killua smiled genuinely, he noticed his captain was also happier and that made him feel good.

Killua turned back to the man who was speaking. He seemed a bit weird, in a way that normally people like him are considered normal, but still had a air of danger around him that was quite scary to take in. Killua didnt know what to make of him, however , he had given Avis a safe role in all this so maybe he wont mean them any harm at least. Killua was clearly confusing himself thinking about things as the man spoke to him. Killua then looked across "Oh wow is that vulture yours? He looks so cool, really really cool, where did you get him mister? I used to see birds like this along my island" Killua didnt know why he didnt notice the bird but he was genuinely pleased to see such an animal in a island like this. Killua then scratched his head "umm, about the strong thing.. i can fight.. though i would like to avoid it as much as possible, but if its for Captain , i would gladly do anything you want... umm no i didnt fight any marines, in fact ive been somewhere quiet so no one knows about me so much, haha" Killua looked across guiltily , he had felt like he didnt go looking for Avis sooner , but he knew the truth back then, while he was training he knew that if he couldnt get stronger , he couldnt protect his captain, and for that reason alone he chose solitude. Killua then turned back to the man "Oh, yeah, i think its fair to warn you, im no good with plans and stuff, i mean if its easy sure , but i dont understand most plans and things... my master told me i should tell people things like this if they have a plan in mind..."

Avis waited to chime in until Killua had said his part.  Underestimating himself and respectable as always.  He was still very much the same as he was years ago, and that comforted her.

"Of course he can fight!  If you've been training all this time, damn.  Can't wait to see what kind of progress you've made...  There's no need to be modest in front of this guy, or polite for that matter," Avis responded bluntly.  "He's another member of the shichibukai, for now.  Karasu Ammo's his name.  As I'm sure you've already gathered, Ammo, this strapping young man is Killua Dojima.  The most talented navigator I've ever come across.  I'll need whatever information you can get me before I send him off anywhere, but it shouldn't be a problem.  Put me in the boring task if you insist."

It was then Avis looked to her side to see Killua.  He looked...  upset.  Guilty even.  Her brow lowered in a rare expression of concern.  She could only guess why he felt that way.  If anything, Avis felt like the guilty one.  After nearly losing the entire crew the last misadventure they had, she was (dare she think it) hesitant and disbanded the group.  They had all put their entire trust, their lives, in her hands.  Yet she couldn't do a damn thing when a Vice Admiral showed up and rained blood, literally, on their parade.  She should have expected the marines to respond with that amount of force.  It was her responsibility to account for that possibility.  By this point a troubled expression had slipped onto Avis' face, which she immediately shook off and took a drink from the bottle instead.

"Ey, chin up."  Avis playfully elbowed him in the arm, a grin appearing on her face.  "Why do you think I haven't made another crew since the good ol' days?  Because I won't be able to find anyone better for the part.  I already had the best men possible...  and don't worry about the plan part; that's my job.  You're not being sent anywhere by yourself unless I'm positive you can handle it."

Avis told Karasu that Killua was fine to fight. He was training this entire time, so Killua should be strong enough to handle the task.. but would training guarantee his survival? Karasu thought about Avis losing her trust in Karasu after her crewmate is killed. He'll need someone powerful and dependent to take care of them. But how would he pull that off? Karasu thought for a moment and that's when a weird feeling moved through the air.

Suddenly all of the metallic weapons on the counter were forced into the wall like a magnet. Karasu closed his eyes to see if anything suspicious was causing the accident. Suddenly Karasu jumped a metal spike shot through the ground, attempting to impale him. Karasu landed on the counter, without any weapons, and turned around to find a six foot tall man with long black hair. His open coat showed the glowing shards around his body. The man was white, and looked very cold (in personality).

"You must be Karasu; I had to confirm it somehow and skill seems like the best way to prove things these days. I'm Alphonse 'Metal' Kyokoro, former second Division commander of the Steel Village Pirates. I haven't been able to find Iken for a good while. I need your assistance to find him." Karasu, with his eyes closed, sighed. This man didn't know his own captain was dead. Karasu landed on his feet again and took out a jug and placed it on the counter. Karasu poured some of the yellow beverage inside and let it sit, indicating that they needed to talk. Alphonse sat down next to Avis but didn't drink from the jug in front of him. Alphonse wasn't a drinker.

"Avis, do you want to break the news? I'm not good at these types of things." Karasu said this because it was partly true. He didn't care enough about Alphonse to think of his feelings, and he would probably make it worse. Karasu still had the earlier problem to think about as well, so his attention was very divided and he did not want to say something wrong to the ex-Yonku Division Commander.

Killua smiled at the captain, but in truth it was the first smile today he was trying to constrain. It wasnt ok that he didnt follow her, he knew that he should have. Killua looked to Avis and again was simply stuck in how confident and sure she was. Especially about his abilities. He was determined to make it up to her somehow "Dont worry captain, the plan is fine by me, if its you i will gladly do anything you ask at all, even if its ridiculous, i can fight for you , so im not worried about any plan Mr.... KArasu? yes Mr Karasu, i dont have a problem with what Mr Karasu wants of me!!" Killua was determined, and then suddenly another person entered. Killua didnt know who he was either. "wow... thats alot of different people, Captain your so popular" Killua said as he smiled.

"I thought it was you." said a familiar voice. Seconds later the ground shook at little and Bruce popped out from under the ground. In his wake a large hole was opened which went all the way down to the roots of the giant tree like plant that made up the island. Bruce had joined into a school of seakings to mask his presence in order to get close to the island. Once he and the school were close he swam under and through the roots that made the island. After that it was only a matter of time till he drilled his way up to the surface. "Your captain is dead. The marines say it was Derge, whether you believe that or not is up to you." Bruce said squatting down next to the bar.

Almost instantly, but much less impressively, when Bruce tore his way from beneath the roots of Shabondy, Craig also made his entrance has he clumsily clambered yet again out of Bruce's shorts' pocket, and yet again collapsed on to the cold hard ground, narrowly avoiding a even more painful landing from tumbling down the cavernous hole the pair of them arrived through.

He was also of worse of wear from the traveling, completely nauseous and dazed, managing to remove the bubble coating around his head a sharp pop form a fistful of his metal bolt he fired from his bow-guns, tottering around the place unsteadily and blathering; "Good evening ladies and gentleman, and I shall be your marksman for this evening! Hey, did any one get the flag of that ship that must of hit me? Hey I remember some of you guys, your all jer- Heeey! Are we at a bar? Aweeesssommme, let's party! As soon as they stop making this place spin so much. And wobble. And change colours so often. Oh heeey Bruce! Wow your tall!"

Craig then proceeded to burp a few times before lurching forwards as if he was about to puke, but steadied himself against the bar to take a few sharp breaths. Underwater travel had take it's toll, and certainly reminded Craig that he needed to buy a submarine.

The moment Avis felt something wasn't right in the air, her muscles tensed.  She was disgruntled when her swords were thrown towards the wall by a force that wasn't her own.  Using her own ability she gave a slight tug on them.  They wouldn't budge.  Not unless she wanted to break them by pulling too hard in the other direction.  Even after the intruder identified himself as a crew mate of the former Yonkou, Avis wasn't exactly keen on the guy.  He seemed strong enough and the bad news about his captain probably wouldn't make him any friendlier.  She gave Alphonse a wary side glance.

"Keep your powers to yourself, pal.  If he's the one you're after keep it between you and him,"  Avis grumbled.  She usually made an effort to avoid messing with other people's weapons using her abilities unless she was actively trying to murder them.  Having her blades tossed around haphazardly, by someone else at least, didn't exactly give her the warm fuzzies.  The moment she was going to continue and relay the news, a familiar voice could be heard directly outisde.  It wasn't very long at all since the last time she had heard it.  Bruce Megawhite.  Yet another shichibukai on her tail?  One she could possibly understand, two would be slightly coincidental, but three?  She already dealt with the lot of them enough for the time being.  By now an irritated Avis was resting her head on her palms.  There was a reason she picked a quiet bar to sort her thoughts at.  This was getting to be a bit much.

"Hate to break it to ya, but it's like the fishman said," she said with a sigh.  "We've been told by navy officials that Iken Namikaze was murdered at the hands Derge recently.  Any other information they've conveniently left out."  After telling Alphonse the little she knew, Avis turned to Killua.  She was about ready to leave the place.  Particularly after Greg the Gunslinger or whatever his name was teetered around the room.  Avis didn't try to hide it.  She blatantly ignored him and spoke to Killua instead.

"Precisely what I wanted to hear.  Except the Mr. Karasu bit.  Anything he might have planned for you is being run by me first."  The final part of her statement she added in a slightly hushed tone.  Killua seemed strangely comfortable around Karasu already, and Avis wasn't entirely sure how she felt about that.  She couldn't put her finger on it, but Karasu was fishy.  The last thing she wanted was him putting Killua in a rough spot before he was ready.  If that's how Karasu wanted to treat his own men, fine.  This was her crew and she would deal with matters her way.  Avis stood from her stool and walked to a wall littered with bounty posters.  Thoughtfully placing her hand on her chin, she examined the individual sheets paper with care.  After spotting one that tickled her fancy Avis tore it from the wall and returned to her seat.  She placed the poster directly in front of Killua on the counter.  It had the picture of a harsh looking, dark haired man with a bounty of 79,000,000 beli to his head.  A local slave catcher that got on the government's bad side, or so the news article next to it stated.

"I want this guy's bounty lining our pockets by sundown.  If it gets dicey, I'm jumping in.  Otherwise it's all you: show me what you can do."

Killua took the job, the guy looked strong but that didnt really concern Killua. Cause a huge fishman had just emerged in dramatic fashion. Killua watched in amazement. He then smiled "Wahh, thats so awesome, he is so big, i didnt know fish people like that existed. Captain, we should go to fishman island sometime, maybe they are all like him??? Hey Mr , im Killua, im part of Captain Avis's crew, who are you??" Killua then remembered the job he was given by Avis and shook his head, almost as if to wake up "right right.. i have a job to, ok captain, im going now, ill bring the man back here or something!!" Killua then jumped out of the bar, climbing onto the roof of the next building in a single jump, crouching over to look around the island, he saw Verve on top and waved as he jumped from roof to roof using the momentum of his Swift as wind technique to carry him.

Bruce showed up and gave Alphonse the truth. He stayed quiet after hearing what happened to his captain. His right fist clenched and he slammed it against the table, breaking it in half and putting enough pressure to crack the floor underneath. Alphonse walked to Karasu, "Are you going to fight Derge and kill him?" Karasu responded while wiping the glass he used earlier. "Probably." Alphonse smiled, with his teeth still clenching against each other. "I'll join you to kill him one day, whatever it takes." Karasu smiled and nodded. He then walked to the side of the room and picked out a den den mushi. "Tough, Grace, I want you entertain our earlier guest in the meeting." It wouldn't take long before two figures appeared from behind a tree. The smaller of the two showed up with incredible speed while the bigger one seemed to have been waiting. They both have masks of demons and a long cape with a hoody to cover them. They had raggedy clothes underneath.

Karasu smiled and watched as Avis gave Killua his test. Karasu might end up giving Avis her own test. If it worked it might convince Avis to try to get stronger. All Grace and Tough had to do was wait for her to be alone and away from the group and attack her. While that happened Karasu went back to his table. "Alphonse, wait in my ship. I'm sure you noticed it already, hence why you knew I was here." Alphonse smiled and flew into the air, breaking through the roof with that sudden burst of energy in his speed. The way he lifted off actually harmed the stool under him. It cracked from the pressure. All the metal weapons went back to the ground when he left. It was like metal was freely movable again.

[[Killua vs 79 mil beri bounty]]

Killua had jumped past several buildings looking for the target Avis wanted. He still struggled to find the person. Killua looked back to the bounty poster and then scratched his head "Ahh, its no good, i cant see him anywhere... maybe if i ask someone...." Killua then sat on the roof cross legged  as he pondered "Hmmm, i dont think that would work , what kind of person would tell me they saw a really dangerous criminal without being scared.... " Killua then heard rumblings of groups of men gathering, he could smell the gunpowder and he could feel the anger. Killua hopped up looking at the group of men gathering at the outskirts of the grove. He jumped standing over the area. The man in the poster was right in the front stage , instructing and shouting at his men. Killua couldnt believe his luck.

The dark haired slave trader man looked to his men "SOMEONE IS KILLING OUR GUARDS AND TAKING MY MERCHANDISE!! MAKE EM PAY, FAN OUT AND FIND THEM!!!"  He wore a brown quilted coat with a grey under shirt and blue pants, he also had really expensive rings on his fingers but his face looked tough and scary. Killua then breathed in as he landed right before the group "Hey there, ummm, quick question, you up there this is you right?" Killua showed him the poster. The group of men got angry looking at Killua as the man shouted in rage "WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU, YOU WANT TO DIE YOU BRAT"

[[Turk Montra "Slave Concierge"]]
[[79,000,000 beli]]
[[Slave trader, current owners of all the slaves that reside in Shabondy]]

Killua then sighed , looking a bit sad "Mister is there really any need to be so angry and moody? I mean i just asked if you are the man in the poster, Mr Turk or something, cause my captain wants me to bring this guy into custody" Turk then grimaced "YOU! You must be the one killing my guards and releasing my slaves!!! Was it to lure me out to get the bounty? You fool, showing yourself here was a mistake, ill make sure you die and ill go collect all those slaves that you freed!!!" Killua looked confused for a minute "Are.... ummmm, i dont know... look im just here for your" Before Killua could finish speaking the group of fighters who worked for the slaver attacked Killua head on, striking their weapons, clubs, mallets, hammers, swords , and even pikes. Killua immediately hopped dodging their strikes and jumping up to stand on one of the enemies heads, using that as a pivot he twirled his leg as he muttered "Destroy like Fire" HIs leg immediately turned explosive , causing a huge group of fighters to go spiraling backwards  as he landed on his feet, the man he was standing on passed out from the pure force of the kick. Killua then dusted himself off "Well... ok then..... i guess we have to fight right? " The group of fighters regrouped and began attacking Killua again as he muttered "As unpredictable as Shadow....."

As Craig managed to steady himself, slumping against the bar, still feeling quite groggy from his recent underwater traveling, watching the other pirates and criminals discuss whatever plans they had that day, as well as the quick exits of Killua and Alphonse, managing to compose some sort of dignity together as stood up shakily.
Feeling he was more unwelcome than an elderly bulldog at a nursery, Craig decided to turn to his captain, Bruce, for conversations and almost immediately blurted out one revelation he just had.
"We need a submarine. I mean think about it. We don't need a very big one because, well, you don't need a submarine so it'd just be me right? That way, I wont get sick traveling, I mean, most people would of been with their eyes exploding or their lungs exploding or some sort of organs making expanding and breaking into teeny pieces by now! Plus perfect excuse to recruit folks to our crew, I mean been while, heck we could bring the band back together.", the marksman first mate blabbered, feeling his strength flow back to him, and promptly ordered a drink from the bar before asking Bruce; "So why are we here?"
