| -Simple Information- Name: Abigail Jaqueline Smith Also known as: “AJ” “Jackie” “Jack”
Age: 18
Species: Human
Gender: Female
Loyalty: None to other than that of her big brother, Mackenzie, and the Smith family.
Affiliation: Bounty hunters when necessary.
Occupation: Farmer: AJ grew up on a farm, learning to tend to crops, to care for livestock and additionally to cook very well. AJ began by assisting her parents and older brother, Mackenzie with their work but eventually went on to take on her own independent chores. She spent most of her time working in the orchard, harvesting apples or herding the cattle with the help of her brother and her springer spaniel, Winona. Bounty Hunter: After the murder of their parents at the hands of pirates, AJ and Mackenzie continued to work on their parents’ farm, however shortly after she turned eighteen, AJ and her brother turned to bounty hunting. Initially, they only went after the pirates that had killed their parents, in order to avenge their parents and bring the thugs to justice; collecting the bounty on their heads was only an added perk. After deliberation, AJ and Mack went on to become professional bounty hunters, though they work more for the cause of what is right than for the money that they earn from their joint-career and will often only go after pirates and bandits who have forcefully wronged someone else.
Bounty: N/A*
Specialty: As a farmer, AJ’s specialty is working with cattle and other types of herding livestock. In particular, she has good roping skills and can lasso, wrangle and tie cattle with great skill and relative ease. She often applies her roping and rodeo talent when out on the job as a bounty hunter.
Goals: (1) To protect her brother. (2) To work hard to protect their family name and uphold their family values. (3) To ensure that anyone who has purposely hurt another person receives the come-uppance that they deserve. Funds: AJ has accumulated funds of 1,000,000 Beli earned through a mixture of bounty hunting, selling home-grown apples and being advised by her brother not to succumb to impulse buying.*

-Appearance information- Physical appearance:
Body: AJ is a relatively medium-built girl, standing at just 5 ft 6 inches weighs in at approximately 10 stone. She is stocky and sturdier than the average girl of her size, her arms lithe but her legs laden with toned, taut muscles from all of her kicking exercises. Her hands are slightly callused from the amount of farm work that she has done, especially in the orchards. AJ has lightly tanned skin from the amount of time that she has spent outdoors, marked by several, insignificant bruises from labour and a spray of fair freckles across her cheeks, nose and shoulders, though only the ones She has a wide waist-line and a plump bust, her hips well-sized but not of the stereotypical “hourglass” variety. Vigorous work and exercise has also given her a solid abdomen and tight shin-muscles.
Face: AJ has a girlishly round face and a set of (wait for the pun) apple-cheeks. Her chin tapers to a delicate point and her light pink lips are thin. Her nose is long but ends in a cute button, often giving her a (falsely) sweet-looking facial structure. Her eyes are a dark, grassy green and lined with thin, wiry eyelashes. AJ also has a set of heavy set of dark blonde eyebrows that add to her facial expressions, particularly when she’s annoyed or determined.
Hair: AJ has light, cornflower blonde hair that falls in loose, messy waves to her shoulders that also hides her ears. She has a full, thick fringe in a scruffy, asymmetric cut, covering her forehead and partly covering her eyes. She wears it in two loose bunches, tied with red elastic bands. Her hair is usually in a messy, windswept state, due to her lack of regard for how she looks and the amount of physical activity she puts herself through on a daily basis.
Non visual information: AJ’s voice is feminine but low, (an “alto” voice for those of you who have interest in music), and she speaks with a classic Southern American accent. AJ always has a constant smell of earth and apples hanging around her, the scent of the orchard strong in her hair, her skin, her clothes and on her breath. For this reason, AJ’s skin (and mouth, if I’m to go there) also faintly tastes of apples too.
Extra features: AJ has no distinguishing scars or disfigurements but one of her most noticeable, unique features is her tattoo of three, shiny red apples on her right, upper thigh.
Clothing: AJ can be most commonly seen wearing a loose orange, checkered flannel shirt, unbuttoned over a fitted white vest. In hot weather she will knot this up beneath her bosom and roll up her vest to expose her midriff. In good weather, AJ also wears a pair of faded, brown denim shorts that stop at her upper thigh and a pair of weathered tan-leather cowgirl boots. In extremely hot weather, AJ (shameless when it comes to her own comfort), will exchange her fitted vest for a red bikini top. In cooler weather, AJ will wear a light tangerine-coloured blouse with longer sleeves and a light brown waistcoat over it. She will pair this with a set of long grey denim jeans embroidered with a pattern of red apples and scruffy brown ankle boots If, (God forbid), AJ ever has to attend a formal event or go somewhere that requires a bit of class, she will wear a red gingham dress that falls to her knees in a plume-style skirt. The collar of the dress is a V-necked one and the straps are held up in a halter-necked fashion. AJ normally wears a knitted white cardigan over the dress, draped over her shoulders, to keep herself warm. If she feels the need, she will also actually brush her hair out to wear it in soft ringlets and add a loosely tied red hair-ribbon. AJ is never seen, regardless of what outfit she’s wearing, without her old light brown Stetson cowgirl’s hat. Though it’s frayed at the edges and slightly tatty, it is still one of her most prized possessions and it will be on her person, regardless of whether it’s hanging loosely from her neck or resting firmly on her head. She sometimes also wears a set of brown work-gloves and keeps her lasso rope clipped to the belt of her shorts or jeans.
-Personality information-
Personality Overview: AJ is a hard-working, reliable girl who will often go out of her way to help someone- especially her brother. She is loyal to her family but also to anyone who strives for the cause of right. That said, AJ can also be rather headstrong about doing things on her own and her stubborn nature sometimes leads her to biting off more than she can chew, refusing help with something, even when she needs it. AJ is a firm realist and believes that hard-work and focus are the only way to achieve one’s goals. She is also a remarkably honest person- though she occasionally has the tendency to be too honest with people, making her seem a little uncouth. Despite that, AJ always strives to show politeness and friendliness to those who deserve it and never hesitates to help someone in need. AJ normally tries to remain down to earth and sensible, but if someone angers her- especially by hurting or threatening to hurt her brother- she will be quick to voice her distaste and/or resort to physical violence. Her snappy attitude can make her appear easily irked, but in actual fact, she prefers not to resort to needless fighting to deal with a situation. She normally relies on “rule of thumb” rather than her school education. That is, she prefers to make judgments based on her life experience rather than any facts, figures or theories. Though AJ always tries to be considerate and kind, she has no patience when dealing with rude or obnoxious behavior and will gladly give as good as she gets. AJ is also a chatty, loud mouthed young lady and often does the talking for her brother, when the two of them act as a duo.
Likes, Dislikes, Hopes and Fears: Likes and Dislikes: AJ naturally loves the outdoors and being out in the fresh air- never one to be afraid of getting her hands dirty. She also loves apples and working in the orchard. She also particularly likes cooking with her brother and using apples in various dessert recipes. She loves to see her brother happy and enjoys the time that they spend together. AJ, while liking to do an honest day’s work, also can appreciate time taken to kick back and relax after one. AJ strongly dislikes it when someone hurts Mack, physically or emotionally. Seeing him upset is often the only thing that drives her straight into a blind rage. She also can’t stand anything girly and “frou-frou”, as she views it. As a result of her near-rape and attack as a young girl, she also despises being seen as weak or appearing incapable of taking care of herself. She also rather hates people with uppity or snobbish attitudes. Hopes and Fears: Before her parents’ death, AJ wanted nothing more than to spend her life on the Smith family farm and to watch the orchard flourish. However after the vicious razing of the orchard, AJ’s hopes soon turned in a different direction, leading her to want to protect the ideals of their family rather than their property. She began to want to rid the world of injustices and protect those in need. AJ has a deep rooted fear of being unable to protect herself or being unable to fend for herself and is secretly terrified that one day she will not be strong enough to protect her brother when the day comes that she will need him most.
-History information-**
Childhood- Baby Farmer: Abigail Jacqueline Smith was born into a family of farmers, including her mother, father, older brother, Mackenzie and grandmother. The Smith Farm was located on a small island in the South Blue and was famous for its large apple orchards. Though their parents loved them both dearly, it was their grandmother- their beloved “Granny Smith”- who spent the most time rearing them. As an infant, she would toddle after her brother, following him as he did his chores and trying to help him- even if that just meant picking up fallen apples and putting them into the apple bin. Inspired by her brother, whom she looked up to, she soon started taking on her own chores, wanting to learn all about the farm and how it was run. Though she was still too young to lend a real helping hand, AJ was still allowed to scamper around the yard in her little overalls, following her big brother around and watching everything that went on on the farm. Education - Getting Schooled: AJ started at the harbor school when she was five years old. Her brother walked her to school every day and she loved their conversations on the way there. Even after her brother dropped out of school a year later, he continued to walk her there, from the farm to school and back again, every day. Wanting to help out with the farm as much as her brother was, AJ made plans to drop out of school too- but was heavily discouraged from doing this by her parents, Granny and Mack. So, in order to respect her family's wishes, she remained in formal schooling. AJ got on well with the other children but was never one for academic studies, sometimes finding the work very difficult. However, AJ never stopped trying her hardest in class...even though she often found her thoughts wandering back to the orchard during her lessons. At the age of ten, Mack stopped walking AJ to school, trusting her to be able to walk alone- though he was always there waiting for her when she got home. Around this time, Mack actually started calling his little sister "AJ"- a title which she greatly preferred to her real first name- and she started calling him "Big Mac."
Adolescence- Working it Out: Mack's decision to drop out of school gained him a reputation as a wimp and a quitter. Those facts combined with his unfortunately effeminate name made him the target of some schoolyard teasing. AJ became fiercely protective of her strong and silent brother, gladly threatening and sometimes even rough-housing anyone who made fun of him. Though, in most cases, this worsened the heckling as it made Mack appear as if he couldn't fight his own battles. Between school-work, she began to help out on the farm, learning to rope cattle in order to assist Mr Smith. She also started working in the orchard, harvesting the apples through a method termed "apple-bucking." This technique involved kicking the trunk of the tree until all of the apples had fallen to the ground, rather than plucking them one by one on a ladder. Granny Smith, naturally, was the one who enlightened AJ about this quirky method of apple picking and it wasn't long before AJ's legs were lined with taut muscle from the amount of kicking. AJ, on a personal level, loved her work on the farm- she could spend time with her brother and grandmother and felt like she was contributing something to the family.
Violence- Tragedy Strikes: One day when AJ was thirteen and working at the edge of the orchard, she noticed some men hanging around there and (a little naively) assumed them to be apple customers. She approached them and within seconds, realised that their intentions were greatly less than honest ones. They attempted to take advantage of her, AJ, herself, unable to sufficiently fight back. Luckily, Mack was on his way home from one of his grocery trips and spotted them. Immediately, he struck every single one of them from behind- not killing them- but still saving his sister. However, these men were actually pirates...and they weren't about to let their loss go unretributed. One day whilst AJ, Mack and Granny Smith were out shopping for groceries, the pirates returned to the orchard, destroying the farm, razing the orchard and killing Mr and Mrs Smith. Though horrified upon their return, they were still able to save some of the trees and alongside their neighbours and grandmother, the Smith siblings buried their parents a few days later. They slowly recovered from the tragic slaughter, though AJ could see her brother's anger and pain and to be honest with herself, felt it too.
Revenge and Rebirth: AJ dropped out of school shortly after the incident, devoting her time to helping the farm get back on its feet. She tried to maintain a tough exterior but was internally overcome with grief. She wanted nothing more than to see the pirates who had killed her parents dead and secretly blamed herself for the whole ordeal- realizing that if she had been able to protect herself, Mack would have never had to fight the pirates off and they would have never launched their murderous retaliation. Mack became understandably even more protective of AJ after the tragedy and kept her under his constant surveillance. AJ was thankful for her brother's care but at the same time, felt weak and wanted to show that she was capable of looking after herself. When she turned fifteen and could no longer ignore the need to protect herself, she started to teach herself martial arts, either by watching those who came to train in the small harbour dojo or by reading Granny Smith's old log books from her time working for the World Government. Her apple-bucking muscles increased her kicking power and she also forcibly improved her rodeo and roping skills, deciding that they'd come in handy one day. During this time, her brother was learning basic Life Return from their grandmother. Two years later, AJ caught Mack looking at something in the village before storming away angrily. She noticed that they were the bounty posters for the pirates who had destroyed the farm and killed their parents. Filled with rage, AJ knew that her brother planned on going after them and that night, when he left the house to track them, followed him. At first, Mack was reluctant to take AJ with him, deeming her to be too young for such a mission. However, using her new knowledge of martial arts for evidence of her self-sufficiency, she eventually succeeded in getting him to allow her to stay.
A New Start- Becoming Bounty Hunters: After months of hunting, the two tracked the pirates down to a small island brothel where they managed to catch them off guard, corner them and knock them all out within an hour. Mack had only superficial wounds and AJ emerged with just a few bruises. But as misfortune would have it, the whole crew hadn't been at the brothel and those who hadn't been there proved much more difficult to subdue. Despite the difficulty, Mack and AJ fought their hardest and took down these pirates too, though they were left wounded from the battle. After turning the pirates in, they were surprised to be rewarded with high-praise and an impressive sum of money- they hadn't gone after them for the money, had they? It was at that time that AJ had an idea: they should become bounty hunters. Mack agreed to this but they both settled on the fact that they would only go after the pirates that deserved capture rather than swearing a vendetta on piracy as a whole. From that point on, the siblings left the farm to Granny and the townsfolk and started travelling South Blue, catching and bringing any deserving pirates to justice as well as practicing their cooking skills.
Relationships with other characters: Mackenzie Jay “Big Mac" Smith (Older brother by five years) : AJ grew up looking up to her older brother and eventually made a firm self-pact to look out for him too. She cares for him deeply and will be become incredibly angry- to the point of physical violence- if people even attempt to give him a hard time. She is aware of her older brother’s protective attitude towards her but does not resent him for it, instead being deeply grateful for the fact that she has him to help her out. AJ, (though she will not always admit to it or express it in words), also looks to her brother for his advice and words of wisdom and often relies on him to be her emotional “rock”.

Passive traits: Sibling Knowledge: AJ and Mack are so close and know each other so well that normally all Mack has to do is to look directly into AJ's eyes for her to be able to tell what he is feeling/thinking and to be able to voice an opinion on his behalf. This kind of empathetic pseudo-telepathy works both ways as Mack can often "read" AJ's feelings and thoughts simply by her looking him in the eyes too. However, in practice, it is AJ who will do the talking for both of them in public- due to her loud-mouthedness and Mack's wishes to say as little as necessary.
