Appearance: Tall, Slightly-tanned with short black hair almost completely covered by his hat, which comes with his standard-issue marine uniform. It's a greenish colour rather than white, to show he is part of the Prison Guard Elite. Has a badge on his left sleeve to show his rank. Eyes are blue.

History: Steven came from a strict household to the point where it was semi-abusive. It was a military family, at least one member was part of the marines of any branch, be it Military Police, Anti-Pirate Division, Boarding Party Division, etc. When he came of age, he joined the Marines. Boot Camp was harsher than home, and because he was the weakest of the platoon-in-training he was named Gover Pile. When he graduated he joined the Prison Guard Division. He was given secret training to become an elite guard. He was taught the secret techniques of Shigan the finger bullet and Tekkai the ultimate defense. He was equipped with a seastone shield, rifle and sword. Then he, with a squad under his command and given control of the ultimate ship, was sent to the Tower of Fallen Angels, the impregnable prison fortress.

Personality: Steve is the perfect soldier on the outside. Follows all orders without question, begins and ends every sentence with “Sir”, and properly does all the necessary things you learn in boot camp. He carries his rifle with him at all times, though not of paranoia. On the inside, he'll monologue to himself, questioning orders that seem flawed or immoral, and thinking thoughts about himself, his superiors or people he sees that shouldn't be said even if just to keep up appearances. He'll only break this when the officer in the area specifically says “At Ease”
