Serious, War Thread: The Grand Atlantis War ((Open to all participants, three way struggle between Pirates, Atlantians and Marines))

Anubis smiled and then grinned "Yeah, we are going for it..... it will be glorious when we find it.... but first...." There were certain Atlantian knights now covering the area. And Anubis sighed "We will need to fight them......."

"No worry. This won't take long Anubis-sama," Delia said in a determined tone, bring her sword out and making a sudden slash with it towards the knights. The frozen slash that came out from the sword suddenly hit part of the group, freezing them in several areas to incapacitate them. "Ne, aren't you going to join, Anubis-sama?" she called out with a tease as she charged in, taking down several knights one by one with alternating attacks from her sword and Devil Fruit powers.

Anubis grinned " Fine.. it seems we will be needed, Max , RYAN!! Lets get moving boys!!!" Anubis then slammed two desert spada into the land sending the knights near him , flying in the air. He was now covered in sand, it was a good day to fight. The yonkou had finally regained his form.

Avenger Pirates

Toshiro had been preparing for this the whole trip. He had made sure everything on his kanabo worked fine and that he had plenty of extra ammo for it. As he heard his captain he headed for the meeting room. "I'm here," he said.

Atlantis

Simo jumped off the marine ship. He was very impressed that Vice Admiral Nishki had blown a hole in the islands defenses. He stood up and awaited orders as to what to do.

"That's a nice look on you captain," the young captain exclaimed with a smirk as she made her way to his side, dispatching the knights in her way to the side with not that much effort. "I suggest we go looking for the Oro Jackson before the others get to it. If you want to wait for Max and Ryan then I can go ahead and scout," she suggested as she stood her guard.

Just Outside the Dome

Gustav grimaced... they wouldn't last long, if they couldn't get through the sphere. Suddenly, there was a sound as someone came out of the ship... actually, it was two people. One was Isaac, and one was a girl. Young, maybe in her early twenties. She was garbed in a large brown trench coat that covered all but her raven black hair. She seemed withdrawn, and despite Isaac's best attempts to get her to move faster, he could only drag her. "Dahlea-sama, we need a plan to get into the dome," Jane said, to which Dahlea barely responded. "Dahlea?" Matthew asked. "The ship is screwed. Gunda, retrieve the flag. Cordell, prepare a large number of your metal spheres. Gustav, summon your hornets. Jane, you need to melt a hole in the shield, so most of us can get through. Gunda will leave first, followed by everyone else. Cordell will then team up with Gustav to seal the hole, and Jane will need to melt the spheres to seal the hole. Do it," Dahlea explained quickly, and the crew set to work doing their jobs. It turned out that the efforts of Cordell and Gustav were unnecessary: the ship itself was just large enough to plug the hole. Jane put her head over her forehead to examine the wreckage. "Dyamn. I'm surprised that worked." Gustav quickly called hornets out of the hive in his forehead, and he sent them out for reconnaissance. They quickly returned with news: the Yonkou Anubis had landed close by, and was no doubt on a quest for the Oro Jackson. "We have to move! Jane, Davis, with me. We'll go on ahead, and try to slip by. You five need to try to go around... Anubis is not someone to screw with..." They separated, the quiet Dahlea dragged along.

Directly Behind Anubis

Gael noticed a ship break through the shell, and was about to fill its hole up with wood when someone froze the water. On a second inspection, the ship looked familiar... Gael picked up speed, finally realizing what it was. He leapt at who he knew wouldn't mind: Yonkou Anubis. In a spectacular flying tackle, Gael collided with the pirate, hugging him happily. "Nice to see you, Anubis! Looking for the Oro Jackson, no doubt! If I see it, I'll be sure you're the next to know!" Gael noticed some people giving them funny - more like menacing - looks, and he quickly swept them up with vines. Rirner began holding off a patch of knights with his fire breath, already wishing his master would move on.

Near the Docks

Ixion twisted, dodging the slash, while Jacob ran, easily dodging the rust ball, which hit some poor sap trying to pillage corpses. "Kill? Not likely." Ixion aimed a sweeping kick at Unholy's legs, as Jacob began firing, trying to shoot through their three targets.

Out in the Water

The New Order pirates were worried... they were heading for an opening, but they weren't able to hold back the cannonballs for much longer... That is, until their captain appeared. "Paper Hands of the God." Sugedo raised his hands, creating many sheets of square paper, the paper forming into two large hands. The hands elastically exited the protective bubble, and proved to block all incoming cannonballs. "Our landfall shall come shortly... let us begin the true crusade." The ship entered the docks, and Sugedo, Goth, and Amanda disembarked: the three of them would move quicker. They set off, looking for the Oro Jackson.

Elsewhere in the City

Ranyx was looking for the leader of this place... probably with the engineers. He quickly made his way to where the engineers were holed up with uncanny knowledge, and announced, "I'm looking for he who holds the Statue of Ryan Asmedah." It was something he had left behind a long time ago, and he wanted it back.

"Rusty Tekkai!" While Useing Tekkai Rust covered Unholys body
Letting Ixions kick hit attempting to rust off what ever hit him.

Then useing "Jetpack back" Unholy Flew into the air.
And created 2 rust balls in each of his hands throwing one at Ixion and the other at Jacob

Anubis looked and saw Gael who flew into him. Anubis then chuckled, he was pleased to see his friend even under such circumstances "Hello there Gael... what are you doing here my friend? This is quite funny that you happen to be here......"

Nishki was waiting for a damage report, the sooner the better. He wanted to move on, there were no knights attacking him yet. He saw Simo "Oh, you had a good ride? I wonder where the admiral is......"

In a split second Derge changed his mind deciding that head toward Atlantis's blind spot would be just a waist of time. "Open fire on the cannons" yelled Derge through a den den mushi.

"Cannon Bombardment"

Multiple shots from each cannon rained down up Atlantis taking out the section of cannons that would interfere with Derge's entrance. "Now break through the walls!" Half of the giants right arm flips up much like it's finger tips before it.

"Sea King Killer"

A blast large enough to take out a sea king with one shot exploded from the giant arm. The resulting blast was powerful enough to make a giant sized hole in the side of the underwater city. The large giant sped forward at full speed entering the hole with a decent amount of water behind it. Derge retracted his hands close to his chest and then thew them both forward with energy.

"Tunnel of Blood"

The blood once shielding the ship converted into a tunnel that lead from the ship to the hole in the dome.

"Demon Claws"

Four sharp fingers formed out of blood clamping the tunnel to the dome making it air tight. Using Geppou Derge made his way up into the tunnel and into the city of Atlantis. Warren landed in Atlantis transforming back into his giant form, reverting certain metal parts. Using a high speed movement technique Derge appeared on his weapons shoulder. Blood leaked from pours allover Derge's body.

"Blood Shape Manipulation"

The blood formed into various shapes similar to small animals and scattered in all directions scouting for their master. "Lets see who's all here and what they're up to."

"Blood Eye"

An area the size of a human eye formed into an eye on each of the small creatures. Derge fell to one knee with deep labored breath, despite his bloods logia nature it did take a good amount of stamina to control each shape. It got harder as the distance increased. "Hmm...I've got a pretty good idea of the layout now, there looks to be a few marines on and the guards seem to attack marine and pirate alike. What's this?...Anubis, Clear Water and a few other big bounties with him. Wait is that? Why would a Shichibukai hug a Yonkou?" Derge mumbled as he spied like a peeping tom.

A slight bit of disgust appeared on Derge's face as he realized that he wasn't trying to trap the foe, but actually show affection. "That damned traitor! If I was powerful enough I would go over and slaughter the lot of them." Derge thought for a moment, about how he could killed every person on board and keep the fighting to a minimum. Sending out a command to search for one specific area, Derge's shapes went to work.

Finally reaching the blind area The Village of Steel slowed as it go into position for Iken's plan. Iken looked toward Goru out of the corner of his eye signaling he would need his help. "Goru....I'm going to make an opening I need you to make a tunnel from the ship to the opening and seal it off, so it's air tight." Iken said giving his order as more of a request. Using some of the coating Iken forms a bubble around his head so he could breath. Climbing up the mast Iken leaped out of the bubble toward Atlantis without worrying about cannon fire.

Iken lifted the large long sword above his head with both hands. With a might grunt Iken slams the sword into the wall releasing 10 times the energy of the cannonballs combined with his own might. This power allowed Iken to do a considerable amount of damage to the side of the city. Water immediately began to pour in sweeping Iken in with it. Iken looked back up towards the opening hoping Goru would seal the leak quickly.

Todd steps in "I will go to Mr. Nishki's aid now, follow the orders given thus far." He jumps out of the bubble "Geppou !" he manages to start kicking his way in the waters at astoning speed, apparently having figured out a way to use that move effectively on the water as well. He reaches one of the cannons, which at that moment was turning to aim Todd "Dai Cutter !" The cannon, as well as the person using it, are completely sliced in half and explode violently. Todd then gets in from the cracks and enters Atlantis as well. He reaches Nishki quickly "I believe that being alone in enemy territory could get dangerous, Sir." he tells him and grins.

Killer pirates.
"Wooooho, check it out, there's a blind spot there, those marines are really useful after all !" Billy the Killer yells and then laughs.
Serpent Eye Pirates
"Holy crap, did you see this ? That cannon ball almost sunk us !"
"It doesnt matter, sheer the ship head on .. even if we do take a blow, if we get in we will be safe from those damned cannons !" Siita orders his crew to keep going straight ahead.

Finally, finally in Atlantis. Talitha jumped off the ship, and onto the ground. All that seawater around her had her worried... And Atlantis being a submarine at the bottom of the sea had her worried even more.
she wasn't any good when it came to fixing ships, but she measured it would get over the damage it had taken with a little help from a shipwright.
Instead of wasting too much time with it, she looked around in Atlantis. Enemies could be everywhere, but she really wanted them to how themselves now. She still had some anger to take out.

Before Iken could take another step further, a figure appeared before him, it was Medusa, 3rd seat of Project Myth. She sounded rather disinterested "Please halt.. in the name of the law of Atlantis... you are in breach... blah, blah ,blah. Look just give up already so i can go back and rest and not look at you babarians any longer...." Her hair was raising, the electric sparks showing as well. Her hair looked like a octopus stretching its limbs, but they were covered with electricity.

Icarus was flapping his mettalic wings above Derge "Cease your actions intruder.... you must surrender now!!! Do not destroy our city any more than you already have."

As the crew was moving forward, Maxulus was happy to see that everything seemed to be okay up until now. They did not have any problems at moving at all, even if all the people around were Devil Fruit users... The city was an underwater city after all. If they made any mistakes, they would end up being drown by the water...

At the meantime, Jiper had almost reached Ran. As soon as he met with her they could decide a plan to destroy the "cursed" ship, the one that belonged to the pirate king... Oro Jackson...

Meanwhile, at the Avenger Pirates ship, Maximillion had already headed to the meeting room and he was waiting for the others to come. Some of them were there already... But some of them where missing. The captain was worrying a little bit. Shrieker, Koga, T.H., Cole and Lena, Toshiro, Callen and Freyar as well as Megan had arrived already but SONTHIOL, ANNACHIE, NICK and DISPATER were not there...

Now, Rei may appear to be dumb, but she had a very sharp mind. Not as sharp as most; she was not the greatest tactician out there. In fact, she sucked at tactics. But she was extremely talented in improvising, which made up for her lack of strategic intellect. The result? Rei was good at spotting openings.

So the moment the cannons lacing Atlantis' outer walls stopped firing, Rei grinned and then thrust her fist up as if to declare an attack. And to be honest, she was going to as well. Petite fingers pointed towards Atlantis - she knew that Nishki, Admiral Ran and whoever else was inside could more than protect themselves. It was demolishing the outer defenses that was her target.

"OI! YA DAMN CUPCAKES, YA CALL YOURSELF MARINES?!! They fuckin' stopped their cannons! FIRE AT THEM, NOW, WHILE THEY CHANGE DIRECTION!!!"

Her voice echoed across the ship and immediately, the cannons lining the Marine ship under her direct command now that Admiral Ran wasn't here, took aim and shot the best kinds of cannonballs that an Admiral's ship could possess, straight towards the cannons lining the walls while they were still moving and taking aim to fire at the underside of the ship. The result was, well, another lot of destroyed cannons and a chunk of dead Atlanteans. There were more than a few large enough holes in the walls now too; not really enough for a ship to go in but more than enough for a few tens of squads of Marines. Here's hoping Admiral Ran had given them underwater fighting gear, since some of them, including her, were Devil Fruit users.

The midriff-bare Vice Admiral could not help but grin in delight at the resulting explosions.

Only for that grin to be wiped off her face as the surviving cannons realligned and reloaded, beginning to fire at the ship's underside. "Gah, ta think seein' their comrades lyin' in pools of their own blood would deter these actions... besides, cannonballs are useless," she muttered to herself, once again disappearing in a combination of Soru and Geppou, fists pulsating with green raw potential energy.

"RAPID-FIRE STRONG ARM!!!"

This time, Rei hoped around the underside of the ship instead of going higher up. God, she loved Geppou. There was nothing more awesome than walking on air. Destroying several more cannonballs, Rei used Geppou to return back towards the top of the ship, only for more cheers.

Oh yeah, she felt good.

But maybe it was time she broke in. "Oi, Cupcakes! Make sure to figure out a way to get the ship in, cuz I'm goin' after the taishou!" she yelled back over her shoulder, only to be met with several cheer and salutes. She suddenly pointed at one of them. She then once again jumped upwards, onto the mast, well out of the viewing range of most of the Marines. She crouched herself into a cannonball position, before potential energy erupted underneath her causing her to go shooting towards the Atlantean walls.

"HUMAN BULLET!!!"

She yelled out the name of her attack as she soared through the air in the bubble-coat. She knew she had to time this right, or she'd become a hammer the moment she came into contact with the sea water. She had to literally travel so fast that the sea would not be able to affect her in time. Once she was out of viewing distance from the rest of the ship (she did not want to reveal her devil fruit powers to them), her bare soles burst to life with electricity. A large bolt of electricity shot out from her feet, causing her to go shooting forth towards Atlantis at velocities rivalling the speed of electricity.

She skirted the bolt like she would a surfboard, allowing it to carry her across the air between the air-bubble coating her ship, at least until she crossed the limits of the bubble. The moment the water came into contact with her, she felt the weight of the world on her shoulders, knowing she had become a hammer as a side effect of her Cursed Fruit. The bolt of electricity spread throughout the water, seawater being a conductor, causing it to go out of control and spread. Yet, it, and her Human Bullet both, had accelerated her to the extent that even if she was a hammer she wouldn't sink immediately.

Thus, the hammer that was Noyamano D. Rei shot forth at explosive speeds, soaring through one of the holes that the Marine cannons had created earlier, into the fabled sunken city. Only to crash and break through quite the more walls before she finally landed in the middle of an Atlantean room, grunting.

"Okay... I admit... that... was reckless," was all she said, coughing in-between the words, as she tried to pull herself up, panting heavily due to the water-induced weakness she had just suffered from, glad that she wasn't feeling like a hammer anymore. Still, that 'travel on a lightning bolt' idea was pretty cool, even if it could use some work.

quickly placing his inlagered slimehands on the covering goru generated large amounts of slime. he then shaped it into a large tunnel around the openening Iken had created. then lengthening it around the ship and sealing the far side and then hardening it to make sure it was airtight. taking a few steps back he then ran and jumped out of the ships covering into the makeshift tunnel. still wearing his claws he ran for the opening for a thrill of a fight.

Nishki turned to Todd"Ahh.. thats right... thanks for that... Todd . Now i must get moving.. and i suppose you will too right? Still, there are alot of them...." The knights fired bullets at him and cannon fire. He used soru in zig zag form and then appeared in front of them, he slammed a Jyogan madara into them, sending them all fling with the flurry of powerful punches. Nishki was standing when the dust settled and sighed "This could get heavy... these are lower ranked ones... i wonder who their leader is.... maybe we should talk to them, maybe they will see reason..." Nishki pondered this as he remained still.

The place was rumbling now, the battle was raging like mad, the knights brought to every edge of the Atlantis. And two of the fabled Project Myth members were engaged in battle. Medusa with Iken and Icarus with Derge.

James looked up at Kanhoji, his expression was one of confusion. “Um, sure,” James said. “Let’s do that. And while we’re at it you can tell me how we’re going to get to Atlantis.”

The two Atlantians looked first at each other and then back at Aibek.

“He has no idea what’s going on here, does he?” the woman asked her companion, who shook his head in amazement. “Well, just as long as you only attack pirates, then that’s fine,” the woman said to Aibek with a cheery smile.

Oddly enough, Tero did not immediately follow after Talitha as he usually did. Instead, he hung back to help fix the leak. Tero gathered up a steel beam under each arm and he set to work.

The Black Wolf laughed suddenly. He had been watching the Phoenix Squad break their way into Atlantis.

“Those Marines are crazy!” the Black Wolf said. “I like that! Let’s follow them in!”

“Yes sir!” came the reply. The revolutionaries pointed their ship towards the opening that had been made by the Phoenix Squad and the water pulled them in, their ship crashing down beside the Phoenix Squad’s vessel.

“What statue?” Freddy asked, stepping out from behind the other engineers. He moved towards Ranyx slowly, calculating whether or not he could raise his weapon in time to blow the other man’s head off. “What are you talking about?”

Jim had been on his way up with a large group of knights when he felt Atlantis shake. The city was already under fire and so this wasn’t surprising, but this time the shaking felt closer. Jim split away from his knights, ordering them to go on without him. He ran in the direction of the explosions and found Rei, a path of destructions behind her. Jim quickly slapped a panel on the wall and a steel door fell down, trapping the young woman and him both from the rest of Atlantis. The waters levels around the two of them rose quickly as it flooded in the opening Rei had made. Jim drew his trident and prepared himself for battle.

Admiral Ran Miryan
Ran landed smoothly, bouncing back from the rather long fall. Falls were a trifle for those of admiral caliber. She looked around, noting that the there seemed to be cannon rooms all around the dome.

Then she saw and attack to her person. Someone was trying to kill her. Not really all that surprising in this setting. She spun around, settling her right palm as if to make a karate chop. However, what instead happened was that her blood swam out once more, morphing into a bladelike shape to block and redirect the blade directed at her. Then, as she forced it to the side, she threw a solid punch at Gyupaa's face with her left hand squeezed into a fist.

Volnus Dispater, Scourge of the North
Volnus finished a quick fix to his armor, and dressed it, coming to the meeting room to wait for the plans being stated.

Hmpf. Neither Todd, nor Jackson were anywhere to be seen- Talitha was on her own, well, almost.
It took her back to the days when she had no subordinates... She almost missed it, but for the sake of justice, she'd go on and on to the top. This world just deserved better.
She turned her head left and right. The battle was raging, but going well. By now, she had made her way pretty close to it's core, but still hadn't met anything special. Er, more special than cyborgs living under the sea.
They were all capable fighters and stuff, but their blood was kind of... disgusting. She had tried mauling one of them. Yeah, not again. Using her claws seemed like a better alternative here. Still, where were those damn leaders?! There had to be someone strong out there!

"Well..."
It was the first time Jake opened his mouth since they had gotten close to those clouds.
"I could always dive, but I can only take two of you at a time, and then there's still the air problem... Also, some of you have problems with water, right...?"
That hadn't been very helpful, but he at least wanted to say how when it came to sea battles, he was the man for it. Why didn't he feel glad about it, though? He felt... nervous, stressed even. On edge, like a dog who had smelled a bear nearby. Except he wasn't a dog, and htis didn't feel like a bear.
There was something about the atmospere... Not in the air, but in the water... It was straining, like the air was only a moment before a storm. He doubted anyone else felt it as strongly, as they weren't at home in the sea, but for him, it was clear as day that something was wrong.

softening his expression as the tentacles retreated back into his arms, Alibek looked at the two atlantians and nodded.

"That's better. We just came here to destroy the wreckage of an old ship. The ones with skull flags are the ones you want to be attacking. They'll raid your city for its riches,including that ship!" He explained. Looking around, he noticed Jiper had run off at some point, apparently not noticing his battle with these two.

"Damn, now I lost him." He pouted, "I don't suppose you guys saw which way that man with the.... facial condition ran off to during this distraction?" He asked.

Nishki turned back to see a ship land right next to theirs. The marines surrounded the ship. The flag wasnt recognizable and and the marines approached with caution. Nishki then said "Who is there? Identify yourself now... we will not hurt you if you have good intentions...."

Gyupaa and Ran

Gyupaa was struck and sent flying into a steel wall, slumping to the ground.
On Ran's Ship
A Marine working on the deck of Admiral Ran's ship suddenly shot out of the protective bubble, propelled as if struck in the head with a very powerful force.
Back in Atlantis
Gyupaa got up with little effort, walking back over to Ran. "You hit hard, Marine scum." He looked utterly unharmed. Gyupaa shifted, sending a slash at Ran's face, trying to cut her face.

Engineer Room

Ranyx held both arms up, as if to say 'I'm unarmed!' "Yeah, I need to explain more. It's a little iron statue, about a foot tall. It looks like a man wearing a toga... probably put somewhere in a safe or hidden away or something. I left it here... was it a century, or was it two... two centuries ago." Yeah, that sounded plausible. "Do you know of anything like that?" Oh, something else. "Its presence would make you feel like you're being watched."

Versus Unholy

Ixion kicked Unholy, but quickly disconnected when he realized his flesh was rusting. "Jacob! You can't fight this guy... I'll handle it. You go find the Oro Jackson." Jacob holstered his pistols, nodding. "Fair enough. Don't die on me, Ixion." Jacob turned heel and ran, as Ixion chuckled. "I don't plan to." He turned back to Unholy, crouching. "Have at thee, freak." Ixion shot forward, aiming a punch for Unholy's throat. Jacob hurried off, and accidentally ran into a Marine. "Damn... Rear Admiral Talitha..." Jacob took out his twin swords... he had heard of Talitha's determination, and knew she would not let him go that easily.

Near Anubis, but Not in Sight

Gustav, Jane, and Davis were trying to skirt Anubis and company, while Dahlea and her group tried to sneak through the fights.

At the Docks

Sugedo, Goth, and Amanda disembarked, leaving their crewmates behind. "Come. We should hurry... before we're noticed." Sugedo said, and Goth and Amanda hurried after him.

Kanhoji

"Oh, don't worry about it Jake!" Kanhoji told him, grinning with much confidence.
"I got a good idea how to get there! And for an extra price a piece of cake, I'll even make the ship invisable too while we get there! Don't want supcious things finding us!"
Well, actually, he doesn't want any of the people of Atlantis or any pirates that are in the war to find them. It'll be difficult to fight while trying not to destory the ship. If so, they would be at a disadvanage. It would be better to get onto Atlantis and fight where they have much more open space.

He turned back to James with a knowing smile.
"Ever heard of coating? It's also a way for others to get to Fishman Island." Kanhoji started out, snickering. "It's a process where they coat our ship with a breathable bubble around so that we could dive deeper down into the sea. It's a very delicate thing so we have to make sure not to bother the crabby old geezer." Kanhoji explained, laughing as he remember that the crabby old geezer.

Segal and Sabre among the Steel Pirates

"............ew...what's with that hair...?" Segal couldn't help but blurt out loudly, his nosed a bit scrutched up. "I doubt that's even healthly."
When Medusa appeared, she was looking towards Iken, which is making her face her back towards the two doctors, who were conversing like nothing ever happened.
Sabre chuckled, joining in the converstation as he wondered what would Medusa have to say with this.
"Their techology is almost suprieor to ours in the surface world, though to get rid of their actually hair, must've hurt."
"Bet she was bald before she installed the creepy moving thing. What is it, moving tails?"
"It's a mechical object you dolt."
"Well, excuse me! How can you tell with that thing moving so weirdly?"
"I'm sure some people could do it."
"Name one!"
"..."
"Ya can't huh?"
"Besides, I think they're trying to pull her off as Medusa."

They continued on with their converstation -well, kinda one sided arguement-.
Though one of them is already ready for something.

Iken blinked a few times having already been confronted by someone. To Iken horror it wasn't a normal run of the bin opponent. It was a female and due to Iken's code of honor he can't hit a woman. "Oi everyone get your asses down here and help me with this. I can't hit a woman no matter how damn ugly she is!" Iken yelled up to his crew that were still on the ship.

Derge looked at the flying man without any signs of emotion. "So a cyborg imitating a myth. Sigh I guess you never did learn, flying to close to the sun is dangerous!" Derge said excitedly. At his code the giant raised his left arm causing it to flip up. Derge walked into the giants mouth and into the calm lounge area to rest.
