Serious; Phase One: Dawn Island (CLOSED)

Wally notices Brandon's talking "Eeeeh ? Fire at me ? Yeah right ! I wont waste time on weaklings ! Jason !"
Jason jumps in frond of Wally "Oh well, captain's orders Hahahahahaha !" They both walk as if they dont care at all about the men gathering and aiming at them.
"You shitbags think you can beat my "Control" ?" Jason says and smirks.

The rebels fired at every opponent they saw, thirty alone concentrated on the shichibukai and the men close to him, but why, why didn't it work?
Slowly, slowly the knowledge that they wouldn't win this, no matter what came, grew bigger and bigger in their chests, too big to be surpressed any longer. Was it over already? Was this the end of the dream all of them dreamed? there had been hundreds of men in the fort, and som any of them had already fallen in this battle...
But what else could you do in the face of death than foolishly keep on struggling, like a fish on land gasping for the water it so sorely needs to survive.

"My FORT!"
Rashmi screamed. she had worked so hard for this fort! Had held it for two years, without any marines meddling. And now?
She could feel her ire rise to levels yet undetected in normal humans.
It was that ire that made her unaware of the danger in front of her. Only when she felt the pain in her chest did she realise something was wrong.
"Ah! Wha-"
She stared at her shirt changing its colour to red. She felt nothing anymore. The pain was numbed by the shock.
Wounded? Shot? Her? Rashmi?
This must be how normal people felt...
What would happen now? For the first time in her new life, she was feeling fear. But also the anger she knew so well.
"Coal!"
He was so dead now! So! Dead!
She charged forward, her diamond fist ready to strike.

"Wha- Who?"
Zuzen stepped back. This had been a bad idea. A very bad idea.
Even joining the revolutionaries had been a bad idea.
Okay, so the world government was bad and stuff... but bringing it down wasn't worth dieing for!
Suddenly, he missed the times he spent with his small street gang back then... everything had been easy... robbing a store, taking a hostage, mugging someone from time to time... But this, this was big.
Behind him, he could hear Jamils voice.
"Told you..."
He heard the slight klinking noise when Jamil got out of the saddle, and the sound of his feet touching the ground. None of it really got through to him.
Why would it, when there was something like... that to look at?
Jamil drew his sword. Did he want to fight?
Clank.
The sword hit the ground. Next was the coat. it made a strangely metallic sound when he dropped it.
The instruments...Zuzen thought, wihtout really realising he did.
He keeps his torture devices in the coat... that's why he's always wearing it...
Zuzen himself did not move, neither could he tell what Jamil was planning to do. It obviously involved kneeling down, bowing his normally so proud neck to those people.

Jason has merely extented his hand when the bullets where fired. Just extented it. Suddenly, the ground around the 2 men literally rised up creating some form of shield all around them, blocking the bullets. "I ate the Fuwa Fuwa no Mi ya idiots, you cant expect to beat me with material like those, honestly, dont you know who the hell I am ?!" as he yells the last words of his sentense, the ground "shield" depresses and sents shards of soil and fragment of the bullets to the men that fired at them.
Wally laughs again and then extents both hands, and darkness begins to flow from his elbows and all the way to his hands, and then on the ground. Once the flow reached the ground it started moving much faster. "Bind !" Wally binds the men still standing to the ground. At the same time, something appears to form behind Wally, it looks like a small number of "fists" made of darkness, the size of a regular man each.
Coal and Rashmi are unaware that someone is actually watching over the battle for at least half a minute now. He is standing on top of a small tower of some sort, no one noticed him despite his size, probably cause of the panic and chaos that occurs. "If I save that marine, it could be useful ..." - Hawks.

((Ummm Shadow, your meant to touch the thing first in order to control it? Thats how he used the Fuwa fuwa? did he touch the bullets or the gun before hand))

(Really ? I remember in the movie he could do some pretty crazy stuff and I dont remember him always touching, but its alright, I can simply fix the post into using ground as a "wall", how's that ??)

Coal was now dashing , he had managed to hit the girl, but she still wasnt down, he then dashed to the near right and fired another shot, while keeping his sword up to guard. Coal was also wondering, how the hell was a schibukai here anyway? Coal knew if she got one hit it was over.

Brandon saw this man raise the ground. He mentioned something about Fuwa Fuwa no mi. Brandon then slammed his fist and shouted "RING OF FIRE!!!!" A giant ring made of fire blazed its way towards the man who raised the ground named Jason.

Godric had now dashed inside, he had seen the carnage, and was really pissed off. This schibukai had made life seriously difficult here and Godric was going to beat him down. He fired a air wave aimed straight for Wally. Then suddenly there was a block , it was Tiberius who blocked Godrics attack and Tiberius said adjusting his mask "Now this is a surprise.. you actually thought you could so easily hit a schibukai?" Godric then snarled "You never know unless you try!!!"

Wally sents 3 out of 6 of the darkness fists he created upwards to collide with the ring of fire attack generated by Brandon "Oh, someone with some skill .. " he then looks above Brandon and smirks "Look above .."
Sabres is in the air, throwing a large chunk of debri towards Brandon, laughing.

Jason at the same time manipulates the soil causing the place Brandon is standing to begin to crumble.

"Good job parthner" Wally then says to Tiberius, and then carries on "Jason, you can play here with Sabres and that fire guy, Tiberius, deal with that, I got "destruction" to cause !" he yells. The last 3 fists go towards the beaten up men striken by Jason just moments earlier.

The shot hit Rashmis shoulder and the bullet fell down effectlessly, while she continued to race after that damn marine. One hit. all she needed was one! damn! hit! She had done this before! Why was it so hard?!
"Stop running away, coward!"
She knew this wouldn't make him stop, but it was kind of frustrating. Humilitating, even.
It got more and more humilitating every second, and the tears of... anger? Or simply humilitation... making her vision blurry didn't make it better at all.
They didn't burn half as much in her eyes as her hate did. the marines had taken her crew, they had taken her dreams, and now they were taking her fort, along with severly damaging her pride and reputation.

Jamil raised his head again and looked the intruders in the eyes before raising his voice as well.
"My name is Jamil Kadar. I am the right hand man to the revolutionary Johan Frideswide, and have a bit of a reputation as a torturer build up..."
The rest of the crew went completely silent. Zuzen stared. This wasn't a good time for gloating...
"On this ship, I am quite possibly the biggest threat, and by far the most wanted man."
Not! The right time!
What was that man doing?
"I swear on my pride that I will not fight back, I will let you take me to Impel down, or whatever you plan to do to me."
Possibly suicidal? He hadn't taken jamil for the first person to get killed without putting up a fight.
"If you let the rest of these men go. Not necessarily peacefully, just let them get away."
What?



((Nikz, we'll have to decide who wins this fight at some point... You know, I think it'd do Rashmi good to be brought down to ground level a little, but I don't want her dead. I love her already.... Impel Down's okay, though.))

Suigo looks at the man with a level of surprize. He could see that Jamil was not a run-of-the-mill enemy, and while he was confident that he and Marrow where more than capable of taking down everyone else on that ship with relative ease, he still expected some amount of resistance, at least from the "strongest person amongs them".

- What are you thinking, Revolutionary Jamil Kadar ? Remember, while we are with the Government's side, we still are pirates, therefore, he have nothing to hold us from slaying every single one of you ...

Marrow looks at Jamil as well, and a lump made of poison slowly forms behind him, however, Suigo nods to him to stop.

- Why do you wish to throw your life away for those people ? And how can you be sure that, after taking care of you, we wont just .. say, destroy them anyway ? Suigo says, calmly and coldly, but with constant eye contact with Jamil, as if he is trying to "see" through why Jamil just acted like that.

Jade spots a bit a clear ground amidst the chaos where she gently places Ginji before alight near by.
"Oi, doctor... this looks to be a messy battle. Take care of yourself, Ginji."
She give him a fond pat on the back as she moves away from him. She folds her wings and a sinister grin passes over her lips. She turns away from Ginji and tries to make sense of the fray. Every thing had been so distinguishable from the birds eye view she had only moments ago. Now she had to recalibrate herself and try to remember the position of all of the units. It helped immensely that her cumbersome hybrid Sphinx for towered above all of the humans in the battle so locating her nakama was a bit easier.
As much as she wished to dine upon the small and savory abundance of humans that were scurrying about this way and that, she remained focused. Her gaze suddenly fell up Brandon, taking note of his attack upon Jason. She recognized Jason as one of the obnoxious felonious, miscreant strays that Wally picked up from Impel Down. Despite her loyalty, she kind of hated those obnoxious convict bastards but her duty was to her crew. If anyone was going to kick that bothersome SOB around it was going to be her.
"I bloody better get a decent meal of of this mess..."
She took briefly to the hair, alighting heavily near Brandon, carefully avoiding his flames.
"Hello, there... I'm quite sorry to trouble you... I see you're in the middle of something... but if anyone if going to crush that man you're currently seeking to barbecue with that cheap parlor trick of yours.. Id rather like it to be me.
Also, I'm quite terribly bored and the moment and it's terribly rude to not keep ones guests entertained, so, I thereby nominate you as my new playmate... I'm also exceedingly famished... but we'll get to that part later. I would have been merciful but it would appear that you have recently ordered a most unfriendly fire upon my captain. This is most unsavory behavior, which I shall not stand for, and now I'm afraid I shall have to slowly eat you alive."
She gives a bit of a polite bow, which managed to be utterly dripping with mockery. Her narrow green eyes begin to glow with a feral ferocity, a rumbling snarl emitting from deep in her throat as her feline canines are bared and ready to commence the delicious tearing of flesh.
While her hunger would have had her leap and him and begin shredding him promptly for immediate consumption, she had seen the power he possessed and she did not wish to become cooked by her own food. She pulled to katana from her left hip and holding one over to other to create something resembling scissor blades before she leapt at him using her immense size and weight to her advantage. Her height advantage allowed her to take advantage of a downward angle with which she could aim her blades directly at his jugular in attempted to sever his head instantly. She hated to be so merciful but she wasn't fond of playing with fire.
"Looks like it's your lucky day after all, fire princess. Fortune has grace your final moment."

Right! Why did Jamil do all this crap? Not like him at all!
Zuzen wanted to jump in, or speak, at least, but his traitorous body wouldn't move, his mouth wouldn't open.
He could only watch Jamil get up again. He was at eye level again now, his voice was as calm and cold as his opponents.
"While I do not hold high respect for your captains profession, I do not take him for a man with some honor... You may think of me as foolish, but.... I somehow trust his crew to hold some respect for that as well..."
He didn't, for one second, break the eye contact. Sometimes Zuzen wondered if the man ever needed to blink. His one, black, cold eye just seemed to be staring and staring and staring....
"But if that is not a reson convincing enough, then please, just take a look."
He pointed at the crew behind him.
"Weak. Frightened. Many wounded. Most already were when we arrived here. Never had any will to fight in this war. Wasn't theirs to fight, anyway."
Zuzen was too tired to even be insulted... or maybe he was getting used to it.
"The only one who might still have a fight in him is me, and I do not think I would be much of a challenge..."
His trousers were going more and more red from the blood running from his wound.
He looked straight at the two. It was hard to tell what he was thinking. Then again, it was always hard to tell, the only part not under bandages was his eye after all, and the eye was still only staring.

Suigo doesnt talk for a moment, staring at Jamil as well. He then slowly raises his hand to his heck's height and points downwards "You are right ... however ..."

In great speed, Marrow opens his mouth and an orb of some sort is last seen flying past Jamil and slamming in frond of the rest. Thje orb hits the deck and a smokescreen is released. Knowning Jamil would most likely expect this to be an attack, Suigo talks "It's non lethal ..." and then adds "We merely want to make sure that, none of those will try to block us later on ... the poison used now will only render them weak and more fatigued, but it wont kill them ..." he then points at Jamil.
"You are lucky that .. it was me here. Anyone else aside me, the captain or .. "Dark Clown" being in charge of this, and you would all be dead now." then he makes a surprizing statement "I will let you go, as this ship's helsman, after all, no one of those people can do anything anymore .. right, Marrow ?"
Marrow simply nods.

Where Ginji is, Ginji is currently the only one right outside of the Fort, he grins "Excellent !" he dashes towards the street that leads to the main city, kicking away some few men he finds in his path.

Jason looks at Jade "Hmmm .. fair enough, you take care of him, he is boring ! Sabres-sama, let's hit the road !"
- Take care Jade-chaaan ! Biiihahahahaha ! Sabres laughs.

A revolutionary yells "Giant !!!"
Bezar joins the battle punching a cannon section (like those on Marinefold) with his powerful fists. "Hyahahahaha !"
Meanwhile, Dude recharges the cannon to deliver the fort another devastating blow. And still, not all the members have done their move yet !

Jamil, for the first time during the conversation, closed his eye. Then he bowed.
"Thank you, honourable intruders."
He was getting dizzy... might be the bloodloss, might be that... liquid.
still, he kept on standing.
A little shaky, he turned away from them and to the crew... most of them weren't standing anymore... That liquid combined with the hardships of the past few days and this battle were a little too much.
Zuzen was kneeling behind him, holding his bleeding shoulder. He looked like he was about to pass out, like some of the others already had.
"I hope we meet again some day, and may the sun shine upon your path until then... Hopefully, it will be more fortunate than this..."
He would not get on his knees. Even though he had to support himself with one hand, leaning against the mast a little, he would remain standing. You could say what you wanted about Jamil, but he was a proud man.

"Good luck" Suigo simply says, and the duo jumps off the ship, there's a small boat in frond of it. They begin to move towards shore "I am warning you, swordsman, once we get to shore, I wont let a single person survive, consider those on the ship the only .. survivors .. !!!"

"Giga Yami Impacto !" Wally's enormous darkness arm move, as large as a giant's hand, just slammed on the side of the fort blocking his crew from getting on the route that leads to the main city. While the arm didnt did any damage by striking, it starts spreading on the walls on that side of the fortress.
Behind Wally, Gondar is standing as guard, just in case someone actually manages to reach this spot and is crazy enough to attack his captain. The Impel Down escapees have thus far shown surprizing loyalty, much to Wally's delight.

Sabres and Jason have left Tiberius, Jade and Hawks deal with the rest of the fights, while also moving towards their captain, Dude, Martha and Nouhime are on their ship, preparing the cannon for another round, Bezar is destroying the frond side, while Suigo & Marrow are on their way in the battle too. The marines are also making it harder for the revolutionaries to succesfully defend their base. Thanks to that fateful encounter of both marines and the Shichibukai being there at the same time for the same goal, it seems that the rebellion cant last for long .. or can they ?

(OOC Gore, you are an amazing roleplayer ! I mean, you are so good I am reflexively trying to make my posts be as close to great as yours, not that I can, but anyway, you are awesome !)

There should be some bandages left... somewhere in his coat...
The moment the intruders had left the ship, Jamil had let himself fall to the ground. He crawled towards his coat on all fours, and searched through it hastingly. some shiny, metal things the uses of which were better left unsaid fell to the ground as he ravaged through the many hidden pockets.
Finally, he pulled a white roll out. Only one, for this many...
He let the bandages slide into his pocket and got up on his shaky legs again.
"Can thee walk?"
His voice was just as shaky and tired as his legs, and for one moment, Zuzen almost felt sorry for him... almost. A monster, no matter how honourable it might have behaved once, stayed a monster. And you didn't feel sorry for a true monster.
He tried to get up, he really did, but his body wouldn't move, and his eyelids were so heavy all of a sudden...
The last thing he could see before the world faded was Jamil kneeling down in front of him, and extending his hand.

When Zuzen opened his eyes again, he was lying on... something like a mat on the floor.
He tried to sit up, and was forced back into a lying position by the sudden pain piercing his shoulder.
Of course! The wound!
He instinctively reached for it to keep it from bleeding, only to find that there were slightly grey bandages covering it.
When he looked around, he found that the room was full of people, his comrades, lying on the ground, some already sitting, but most not even concious. Their wounds seemed to have been tended to, more or less... At least most of them seemed out of danger... But hadn't there been more of them when they had left?
Carefully, Zuzen got up and left the room.
When he opened the door, he found himself on deck. The fort was out of sight, but it couldn't be much later...
On the steering wheel, he could see a man, not very tall, wearing a coat. the hood was pulled deep down into his face, covering it almost completely, but he knew who it was. He had heard of the burning scars... but he wouldn't ever have thought them to be this bad...
"Jamil!"
If he had been stronger, he would have waved at him, but this way, all he got was a weak smile.

(And so, they depart! Hah, can't you just feel the bromance and love under all that hate the two share? No, really. They hate each other. For anyone who actually wants to know what happened: Jamil used the bandages normally covering his face and the rest of his body to help his comrades. Doctor and torturer aren't that far apart sometimes, do he could at least do the most necessary things. And why there are less men now... Well, Jamil threw the guys who died from their wounds, or were about to, overboard. No, really. He did that.)

Coal was hit by Rashmi this time, he wasn't fast enough and he was too careless to think the sword could block this sort of attack. the hit connected as Coal fell backwards, blood coughed out as he fell, he relied too much on his ability.

Brandon then slammed his fist into the sky at the debris "BLAZE FIST!!!" A giant fist made of fire disintegrated the debris and Brandon moved backwards "Black Cross pirates, now this is a bit different, what business would a schibukai have with rebels? Sorry but you people dont get to move further... not now"Brandon then saw some cat like woman trying to cut him with her sword. He again at close range used Blaze fist, this would either char her to a crisp or buy him time for his next attack. Brandon then threw his hands in the air " Flame empire" An entire grid of flame surrounded him and his enemies, he was going to cause some serious damage as he caged them in with him. (I presume Sabres and Jason)

Tiberius was clashing blades, but Godric look exhausted. Godric was suffering as he cursed his stamina. It was not able to last much longer , not against an enemy of this caliber. Tiberius then saw the Bezaar going wild. Tiberius felt sorry for these rebels. This battle would have gone really differently had the Black Cross pirates not got involved. But Tiberius quickly put it off for now. He looked to Godric "Its best you give up, the world is too big for you at this moment, i advice you to flee.., these rebels will not last too long, and neither will your crew."

Godric could feel aching pains all over his body. Even his body was begging to lie down and sleep, yet, there was a voice of defiance , bravery, the will to not surrender. Godric got to his feet slowly , struggling and then said "Silence infidel, you have no right to talk about these brave soldiers, you and your bloody crew come from behind and attack in such a dishonorable fashion, i will not die, i will not lose, not as long as i can still stand."
Tiberius grinned "Fine, then dont stand.." Tiberius used soru and then used his sword to cut down Godric straight on the chest. Godrics sword broke thanks to the might strike and Godric finally fell to the ground and his whole world went black.

"Meeeeh, why does he want to fight with 3 people at the same time ?" Jason casually says seeing Brandon's fiery attack surrounding them. He then touches the ground "Tsuchiryoku (earth power, attack name in japanese ftw lol)" the ground gets into his control and molds into a number of pillars spinning around them "beat that buddy !" he says to Brandon.

A sudden loud noise is heard, next thing, an entire side of the fort, the side in the back, starts to collapse. "Weee-hahahaha ! We just made ourselves a nice big entrance to the main island !" Wally says.

"Snake !" a massive column of poison smashes into a group of rebels running towards where Brandon and the others are struggling. The men starts screaming in agony and fall down one after the other. Marrow's surrounded by thick poison and looks like he is about to go on a rampage.

"It seems he is out cold ..." Hawks comments seeing Coal being defetead. While Hawks isnt as powerful as most of Wally's crew, he is more intellectual than most, plus, he was also betting that Coal's opponent would be tired at this point, thus giving him some sort of advantage. He leaps down of his "seat" and lands gracefully in frond of Coal "Pardon me sir, I shall take your place if you dont mind." he unseathes "Sasori" , ready for combat.

"They keep on coming..."
Just as Rashmi had started to be a little happy about her victory, another one popped up. She knew she wouldn't be able to make it if this fight was too long... the wound was still bleeding.
She looked at the man, and sounded almost disappointed as she concluded:
"You're not a marine... Still...."
Her whole body turned to diamond in a matter of seconds. It was exhausting, but she had to end this fight quick.
"Give it your best shot!"

"I'm afraid I am not, my apologies my lady" Hawks politely says and raises his dagger in the air *First, let's see if Sasori can even do any damage on her diamond body* he thinks, and then swings the dagger down, and as he swings, a huge scorpion tail begins racing from the dagger's blade towards Rashmi, moving like a whip. At the same time Hawks puts his other hand into one of his pockets, looking for something, something he could use in case Rashmi turns out to be too fast for him.

((I agree, Gore... you're absolutely fantastic... your NPCs alone are more developed, complex, and enjoyable than most full characters on this site. Your talent is an asset and an inspiration... thank you for being generous enough to share it!! ^^))

Jade gives a vague nod of acknowledgment to Jason and Sabres, a bit pleased the Jason was willing to stand down and let her have a bit of fun.
"It was very sporting of you to share this curious specimen for my dining pleasure, Jason. I shall fashion a well constructed ass-kicking for you later to show my gratitude for your generosity ... you and your obnoxious jailbird friends have interrupted my catnapping for the last bloody time! Be sure to keep your ass alive so we may have our showdown."
She then gives a respectful nod to Sabers.
"Sabres-san... fight well my friend."
She then turned her attention back to Brandon,
She narrowed her feline eyes, not entirely sure how Brandon managed to evade both blades that were on a hot trajectory toward that delicate throat of his. She snarled angrily with a feral ferocity as narrowly missed the unfortunate end of his incinerated munch that was meat to singe the life out of her. Two her her whiskers had had their ends singed; now she was furious. She saw that Jason had managed to get caught within the annoying wall of flame that Brandon had constructed.
"I grow tired of this..."
She snarled as she readied another attack... the time she meant to go for the jugular and end this quickly... only then Jason decided to do some of his ground manipulating nonsense to generally get in the way of her, finally eating her prey.
She glares back at Jason, a bit of a threatening growl lingering in her voice.
"I bloody though you left!! What are you doing to my dinner?!"

A scorpion tail?
She didn't move an inch. Insects stayed insects, scorpion or not. And diamon didn't move for... insects...
Klink.
"Fool. A mere insect cannot..."
She winced slightly as she noticed something and looked down. Yes, it was very, very small, but a tiny piece of diamond had broken out close to where the marines bullet had hit... But why?
The dagger hit her completely unprepared, just in that moment. It hit her in the shoulder, and to rashmis surprise, it hurt.
Only as much as a pinch would hurt, but that wasn't the point. The point was that it shouldn't hurt at all.
She couldn't let him notice!
so she put her usual cold look on her unusually cold face and grabbed the scorpions tail. Maybe she could pull it out of his hands...
Were her powers growing weaker? The bloodloss?
No matter, she couldn't let him notice!

Brandon was seriously and absolutely bloody furious. He was pissed off at the fact that nothing was going well at all. They were most certainly about to lose the war, but Brandon would be damned if he lost this battle. He then again slammed his fists into the air as the earth came near him "HIGH RACKET BLAZE CUTTERS!!!!" Two giant blades of fire slice through the pillars of earth that Jason did. Brandon now saw he had two others to fight against, another thing that made him very unhappy. But Brandon clenched his fists "Ill be damned if i lose to you people!!"

Tiberius did not celebrate his victory, instead he walked ahead leaving Godric down there in a puddle of his own blood. He wasnt going to take Godric in. He found the man was still a rookie, and had much to learn. Hopefully, he would become stronger to take on this harsh world.

Sonia was on the battlefield and then announced on den den mushi "Rebels, listen here, i offer you safe sanctuary, if you surrender the fort without resistance now, we can end this battle, and schibukai Wally, we will need to talk about your purpose here?"

"You are annoying !" Jason sents the soil towards Brandons attack to buy some time, then he twists his arms around the air "Air cutter !" he forces the air itself to press against Brandon's attack.
Sabres is leaving "I have something to take care of, you guys can take care of it ! Biiihahahaha !"

Wally notices and takes out his black den den mushi, directly talking to Sonia "Cant see what my purpose is ? Reclaim this island as one of the Government's facilities of course ! Dont get in my way and you will have your island back within hours." he says.

Hawks swings his hand to the right, then left, then right again, a couple of times. The tail now begins to spin around Rashmi, attempting to wrap her and immobilize her to gain another advantage.

Dude intercepts Wally's and Sonia's dialogue, he also has a black den den mushi "Oi captain, we are ready to fire, at this rate, this blow will finish off the only wall where the rebels are still having control !"
