Serious: A Hero Emerges (Open to absolutely anyone, marines, pirates, rogues, whatever)

Thomas was pleased. So far his bandits had taken over one quarter of the town. The people living in that part of town had been rounded up and moved to several different locations where they couldn't cause any trouble.

Ken noticed something was wrong. Slowly, people were disappearing from the restaurant. At first he hadn't noticed because it was just some of customers who had disappeared, but now at least six of the waiters and waitresses had vanished without a trace. A man, who Ken was assuming was the owner of the restaurant, had come out and spoken with one of the waiters, asking him where everyone had gone. Despite them trying to keep this conversation quiet, Ken still managed to overhear what they were saying. A minute later, both men walked into the back of the restaurant to go see if they could find where the others had disappeared to. Everything went quiet in the restaurant. Ken looked around and was surprised to see that he and his two companions were the only ones left. He frowned and put a hand under the table, laying it down on his lap. He was agitated and so his insects were agitated. As such, he wanted to allow them a way to move about more freely without his two companions realizing what he was doing. The piranha beetles spilled out of the sleeve of his arm and crawled down his leg, heading to the floor. Two of them split away from the main group and ran together across the floor until they were a good distance away from Ken's table. Then they took flight and began searching the room. Ken felt flashes of hunger and noticed the two piranha beetles attention had turned to the ceiling. Ken looked up just in time to see three men, who's bodies were covered in cloaks up to noses, dive down towards the table.

"Sanya! Fran!" Ken shouted, jumped to his feet. "Get back!" One of the men landed next to Ken, while one landed next to Sanya and the other next to Fran. Each of them had a knife, with which they swiped at their respective targets. Ken dodged the knife, barely, and got a long, but shallow, cut on his right arm. "You shouldn't have done that," Ken said quietly as a loud angry buzzing came from under his own cloak.

Sanya whipped his sheathed sword up to deflect the knife, rather bored looking. "Don't rely on the element of surprise to take out your enemies." He began bashing the ambusher in the neck and head with his sheathe, knocking him out in three whacks.

Martello heard noises "Now that seems like the beginning of scum activity.... Mr Ti'ar and Mr Jericho, if you would be so kind as to investigate that matter for me?"

Fran lifted the scalpels she was already armed with, blocking the attack. She stood up, and observed the man. He was cloaked, so she couldn't see much details of his body, but she was sure they'd do find for spare surgery parts when his body was taken apart. Her chest opened up, revealing four extra arms, they each held a regular scalpel, ready for battle.

The buzzing from Ken's body grew louder and his cloak bulged just before it opened up and a black cloud appeared around Ken. The man in front of Ken backed up. Although Ken couldn't see his face he could 'feel' through his insects that they smelled fear on the air. Ken's right arm snapped up and a single blade shot out of the sleeve of his cloak, piercing the man's chest right over his heart, dropping him like a stone.

"All too easy," Ken said with a grin. He recalled all of his insects under his cloak and the buzzing sound faded away. Ken turned to his...'allies'. They seemed to be doing well enough on their own.

Jericho grinned "Lets go in Ti'ar and pay some new friends a visit, KEKEKEKEEKEKKEEKEK" Suddenly Jericho took out his shot gun and fired a large burst shell into the building causing a minor explosion to make a hole in the wall.

BArt yawned and laid on the ground "Ahhah, im too sleepy for this.... goodnite....... zzzzzzzzz"
Martello chuckled "Dont worry, we dont have to enter the fray yet......."

Fran moved her arms fast, to appear as a blur. She sliced forward with 6 different arms, each holding a scalpel. She hacked at his chest with all the weapons, cleanly cutting all the vital organs. When he finally collapsed, she sliced off and took one of his arms, mumbling something about needing a spare arm for one of her latest experiments.

A man looked down on the Marines through the scope on his sniper rifle. "So, we have company," the man mused. He pulled out a messenger pigeon, pulled out a previously written message, tied the message to the bird's leg and sent it off. Then he returned to his scope and took aim at the sleeping Bart's head. It was an easy target. The sniper pulled the trigger.

Ken ran outside the building and looked around. The streets were completely empty. What was going on? Ken heard a scream and turned and ran towards it.

Thomas frowned. He had just received a message informing him that a few of his men had been killed. Now, their cover was blown so there was no point in hiding any longer. Thomas turned to Remington, who was standing behind him. "Go tell the men that there are no longer any restrictions," Thomas said. "Leave no survivors except the one's we have already captured."

Remington nodded, and left. As Thomas turned back to watch the town, a messenger pigeon approached him. He reached out to catch it and untie the message on its leg. The message was short and to the point. 'Marines.'

In almost comedical fashion, Bart who was sleeping moved his body to dodge the bullet. He was yawning and talking in his sleep. Martello laughed "I wouldnt bother..... somehow this guy has extraordinary luck not to die you know.... dont worry, i wont kill you,i ll leave it to Bart kun......."

There was gun fire. It was Jericho, he was slaughtering all possible pirates he saw.He didnt stop, there was a mad gleam in his eye. "KEKEKEKKEEKKEE Run SCUM RUN!!!!!!!"

William frowned. Somehow the man had avoided his bullet. He noticed in the corner of his scope that another Marine, who was standing near the sleeping Marine, was talking, but William could not see anyone nearby for him to talk to. How odd. The sniper took aim at the sleeping Marine again. He would try one more time, perhaps it was just a fluke that his target had dodged the first shot. It must have been, because no normal human could have dodged a bullet moving that fast. William shivered slightly as he pulled the trigger once more. Unless, this man wasn't a normal human.

A young, blond-haired boy noticed Jericho running through the streets firing like crazy. The boy wondered if the crazy Marine realized that not everyone on the street was a bandit. He doubted it, but it didn't matter. The Marine was a threat. The young boy pulled out glove from a pack at his side. He slipped the glove over his hand and drew a sword. Before he could attack, however, two figures stepped up beside him. It was a girl and a boy. They looked very similar, both having dark hair and violet eyes. They each wore a dark blue long-sleeved shirt and pants as well as sandals. The twins were small and slight, but each was undeniably beautiful.

"Seth," the girl said. "We'll take care of the maniac."

"Debra?" the blond-haired boy seemed surprised. "Devon? What are you two doing here?"

"Thomas sent us to deal with the Marines," the boy explained.

"You don't have to do that," Seth said. "I can take him."

Debra smiled at Seth, which brought a crimson hue to his cheeks. "That's alright. Stay here and make sure no one else gets past."

"Right..." Seth watched the two jump down in front of Jericho.

Devon and Debra landed side by side in front of Jericho. "Let's do this," Devon said to his sister, not wasting any time as they ran towards Jericho.

Bart then woke up in a startling fashion again barely dodging the bullet screaming "PIE!!!!!!!......... huh? no pie..... ok then zzzzzzzzzz" Bart again falls back to sleep. Martello chuckled , he didnt even move "Barts got the luck of the devil , he really does......."


Jericho saw two kids running towards him, he then laughed madly, he had slaughtered so many in Santa Goret...... surely it will be ok to kill some young lives. His eyes were bloodshot red as he pulled out his machete which was quite big and aimed to slice at the twins.

Ken finally reached the source of the scream. A man lay on the ground, bleeding. He was obviously dead. Several other people were being forced back by a group of bandits. Ken didn't hesitate, but threw himself into battle immediately. He launched both of his swords at separate targets, while his insects swarmed out to distract the rest of the bandits. Since Ken was farther away this time, the bandits saw the swords coming and blocked them with their knives. The swords retracted back to their launchers, but Ken grabbed them and attacked the bandits viciously.

There was no mistaking it this time. William knew this man couldn't be completely human. He slipped his gun onto his back and left to go find an easier target.

"Where are you going?"

William froze in his tracks. That voice...he shivered. It couldn't be.

"Irina?" William's voice squeaked slightly as he spoke. "What are you doing here?" A person wearing a protective suit that covered their entire body, approached William. On the back of the suit were two large tanks. The tanks were connected to a hose that connected to a gun that the person was holding in their hands. Between the suit and the deepened voice that came from it, it was impossible for any casual observer to see if the one wearing the suit was male or female.

"We do not retreat before the enemy," Irina replied, not answering William's question. "You are afraid. Do not worry. I'll fight them myself, you just cover me while I do it." Instead of waiting for an answer, Irina headed down to battle. It took her a minute to reach Martello and Bart, but she finally walked up to them.

Devon moved forward and his foot lashed out, kicking the machete on its flat side, knocking the weapon away. Meanwhile Debra jumped around Devon and lashed out with a kick aimed at Jericho's side.

Martello chuckled "Nice outfit, did i miss a party invitation?Sorry.... i dont attend pirate dress up........"

Bart was still snoring in place.

Jericho got his weapon away in time, but was kicked squarely by Debra. It sent him flying back and he was on the floor lying on his back. He was laughing while down "KEKEEKKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKKEKEEKKEKKEKEEK..... how beautiful.... how wonderfullllll....... so much funnnnnnn.... ahh blood , my own blood...... now you must bath in your own blood too children...." Jericho got up and his eyes were completely Bloodshot red.

The figure in the suit didn't respond. It raised its gun and pulled the trigger. A purple gas erupted from the gun and spread out to cover the area.

((OOC: This gas will not kill you if you touch it. It is a gas that numbs any part of the body that is touched. If the gas is inhaled then body of the one who breathes it in, becomes sluggish. Oh, and I forgot to put in this person's presentation box so I'll do that now.))

"He's insane," Devon said. Debra nodded her agreement. The twins shot towards Jericho again, this time moving in to flank him on each side. Devon dropped and slid forward to kick Jericho's legs out from under him while Debra threw a punch at his head.

Ken blocked the swing of a knife and killed the man holding it with a single thrust. He dodged to the side of a stab and cut off that man's hand, which was holding the knife, before beheading him with a second swing. Ken had quickly realized that these people were good at sneaking around, but they weren't all that good at actually fighting an opponent that knew they were coming.

The other men fell back in retreat and escaped. Ken knew he should probably go after them so that they could not pull another sneak attack on him later, but he also knew that he had to get these people to a safe place. After recalling his insects, Ken lead the frightened citizens to a large store. He locked all the doors and hid everyone in a back room.

"Stay here and you should be safe," Ken said. The store had already been cleared of all human life by the bandits, so hopefully they wouldn't come back to check it out later. Ken left through a window and went off in search of more enemies.

As soon as Martello saw the gas appear. He used soru and geppou and was now in the sky. At least the gas hadnt touched him yet. Bart on the other hand just stayed down there sleeping, he had taken in the gas. but still Bart was sleeping . Martello then sighed "He should be ok........ his body is different from other humans after all......."

Jericho was not in blood mode, he smashed his gun downwards on Devon and then dodged the punch and headbutted Debra . Blood dripping from his face. And he wasstill laughing with red blood shot eyes. "KEKEKEKAHAHAHAHAHAHLKELELELLEELEELKEKKEEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKKEKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKEKEKEKKEEKEKEKEKEEKKEKEKEKE, BLOODDDD, CRIMSON BLOOD, ILL BATH YOU IN IT!!!! ILL BATH YOU IN MY OWN BLOOD!!!!!"

Since Martello was in the air, William took aim with his rifle and fired at the Marine's head.

The two attacks Jericho threw at the twins simply bounced off. Simultaneously the twins spoke saying, "Tekkai."

"I guess he doesn't know who we are," Devon commented.

"That appears to be the case," Debra shrugged. "Of course, very few people knew about the unit we were in so it's not surprising."

"In any case, there's no point in holding back any longer," Devon said.

Devon rolled away and stood up as Debra jumped back. They both kicked out with their right legs. "Rankyaku!" A blade of wind shot from each of their legs at Jericho.

((OOC: Okay, okay. Here we go. Since we were fighting in the restaurant, Ken has left on his own and heard a scream. He looked for the one who screamed, found a dead man on the ground, and saw a bunch of people being herded away by the bandits. Ken attacked the bandits and drove them off. He took the people and hid them in a nearby building. Then Ken left again. Other then that, strong bandits have been attacking the Marines. The Marine vs bandit battles are as follows: Martello is taking one somebody who uses poison and another person, who is sniping him. Meanwhile Bart is still sleeping. And Jericho is fighting twins, who know Rokushiki techniques. Although it has not been explained why these twins know these moves, they have mentioned that they were part of a unit that not many people know about. Lastly, Ti'ar has not actually started fighting yet. That's what's been going on.

Ti'ar swept a chain at Devon's right leg, trying to wrap it around the leg. He had seen Jessop trying to take them both out and decided they should even the playing field. "Peekaboo! I see you!" Ti'ar said crazily as he tried to catch Devon's leg.

Seth dropped down and slipped a katana into one of the chain's links. He pinned it to the ground and then stood back up.

"No interfering with another's fight," Seth said. He punched the wall of a building next to him with the hand that had a glove on it. The punch had enough force to crack the wall, but it didn't leave a mark. After that, Seth drew a second katana from a sheath at his side. There was an empty sheath next to the one he had just drawn a sword from. On Seth's other side were two more swords in sheaths.

Ti'ar yanked the chain and the sword, trying to disarm him. "I think you're breaking your own rule." He whipped the chain around, aiming for the neck.

Jericho laughed and swinged his machete launching an airwave to counter both Debra and Devons rankyaku. His eyes were mad with ecstasy as he then fired his gun at them and proceeded to charge foward.

Martello then slammed his fist into the air. The air cracked, and the bullet was destroyed, the entire ground was tremoring. "I told you, i wont kill you yet........"

Fran stood around, not really sure what to do. Who were these people randomly attacking them for no apparent reason? She figured that no one would just try to kill random people, so the strangers had to have a motive. If they had a motive, then was it really the ones being attacked who were in the wrong? In that case, which side of the fight should she be on??? She just decided to watch the fight, and only do anything if someone attacked her.

Seth blocked the chain with his katana and ran forward, punching with his glove at Ti'ar. "Impact!" he said.

Devon and Debra dodged the gunfire with soru with Debra appearing behind Jericho and Devon in front of him. Debra used a shigan, aiming it at Jericho's back right where his heart would be while Devon grabbed at Jericho's shoulders in an attempt to stop him.

Ken ran threw the streets, but no longer encountered any bandits. It was as if the whole town had been deserted. Suddenly Ken found himself outside of town. He stopped on the edge, looking out over a small grassy field. Beyond the field were trees. Ken frowned. Something wasn't right with the trees. They were swaying unnaturally. He shivered and pulled back inside the town, sending out a team of five piranha beetles to go investigate. They sent back feelings that indicated that humans were in the trees. Realizing that the town was surrounded, Ken headed back into it. He needed to...he wasn't sure what he needed to do. With the town surrounded and a large group of bandits killing and capturing everyone he was at a loss as to what he was going to do. He had to save the people, but how?
