Serious: The Aurora Pirates Part 5: True Strength

"And I'm Rai as i already mentioned before, i'm quite new to the crew too." He said turning away and following James replying, "No questions from me."

Pyriss rolled her eyes. She murmured "Hmmmh" as she followed her captain James. She looked into the inland, she admired its beauty as she took each step. Gazing at it, wondering why the old man wanted to live so far away from the village area of the island. She waved her hair as she walked to her captain's side asking"Should I use it now?

(Since there is no point in beating around the bush, I will once more jump ahead a little ways.)

"You could," James said. "However, there are several farms on the way there so you should probably wait."

It didn't take them long to reach the farms. There were several of these places just outside the city. A few people looked up as the pirates passed, but most of them went right back to what they were doing. On the other hand, a few children waved at the crew. One little boy in particular openly gawked at Jake. Apparently he had never seen a fishman before. Then when he saw the baby dragon that was riding on Jake, his mouth dropped open. Soon they had passed by most of the farms and the Aurora crew made it to the other side. Already the outlines of trees could be seen in the distance. It was an open road to the forest.

"Okay Pyriss," James said. "Do your thing."

Pyriss looked to the right and the left, closed her eyes and concentrated on human presence. Pyriss continued to factor out, the eight life forms behind her, and the plants around her as well. She concentrated on an elder, the old man James mentioned. She concentrated the color of her presence. She opened her eyes as a purple aura presented itself right in front of her sight. She alerted the crew,"Found Him! This presence is just north of here. Follow me everyone" Pyriss took the lead as she walked straight through the forest, avoiding a few trees in front of her, in pursuit for that specific aura.

As she was walking, Heiki found several plants and trees that caught her eyes. She held back the urge to run at them and start analyzing them and their possible medical use. Instead, she patted her scarf and snuggled it. Of course, Karasu was a little annoyed and slapped the back of her head. "Ow... that hurts," she mumbled, slapping her scarf in return.

"Right, keep your eyes peeled everyone," James said...just as a black cloud of arrows rose up in the air and fell down towards the group.

telothlion waking up from behind a tavern on his own wings when he got up he cleared of his wings and started to walk. telothlion wandered down ally way after alley way he eventually saw the edge of town he kept turning trying to make sure he didnt get caught by master at that moment he halluciation of master in front of him he flew away away from the town firing arrows from where he just was. landing just outside the town thinking that the forest would be better so he ran around the trees using his jin jin no mi for extra speed knitting in and out of trees thinking that he was safer he started to walk hoping he would not get caught or even seen by the master walking into the back of labelisa then falling over crouching down "please dont harm me and pllease dont tell the master"talking really rapidly trying to hide under his wings making sure he hid his arm chains and sythe. he thought help me im going to be attacked by a pirate.

((Well, since no one else is going to deal with the arrows, I guess I will.))

James spotted the arrows coming down on him and the others so he drew Kazeshini and swung it, sending out a blast of wind to blow away some of the arrows. "Kaori!" James said. "Protect the others!"

Heiki noticed the mass of arrows coming down at them like rain. She ran behind the tree to use it as a shield to protect herself.

(Oh I didn't and I don't have time to post)

Pyriss still possessed the special knives she received from the stand. She realized when she first touched it, its actual potential. Pyriss pressed the button on one of the knives she quickly released from her pocket. She threw the knife up in the air, the 7 inch knife duplicated into 30 quick knives. The knives sprinted deflecting two arrows at a time. The aftermath, 60 arrows were deflected in midair. Those sixty arrows were above Pyriss and half of the crew. As the knife descended, the target became Pyriss, the other 29 following. Pyriss raised her hand, grabbing the knife before it pierced her palm. She pressed the button again as the other 29 knives vanished into thin air. Pyriss sighed as she lectured Kaori,"Kaori it would have been nice if all of the arrows stopped in midair with you devil fruit power."

not noticing the arrows telothlion got struck by 7 arrows which embedded themselves into his wings thinking this was the work the pirate girl talking to her "I see i make a mistake and you shoot me" still just trying to hide getting upset from the pain

"Impressive," James commented, seeing Pyriss's new weapon. He continued swinging Kazeshini, using wind blasts to push back as many of the arrows as he could, but some of them were still going to get through. With nothing else to do, he gritted his teeth and kept at it.

"Argh!" Rai shielded his head desperately as the arrows took him by surprise, after a while of shielding himself he realized that the arrows had not hit yet. He looked up curiously but on spotted a few knives falling from the sky, the arrows had been taken out. Then suddenly the knives disappeared into mid-air, "Awesome" He said still looking upwards "...did i do that?" O.O He said looking quite puzzled.

Labelisa had blinked as a guy bumped into but ended up jumping behind a tree blinked as the guy had gotten hit by some "umm are you ok?" she asked him as she looked at the arrows in him.

getting out from under his wings still hiding his face except from his eyes "it wasnt you but who was it. who shot me im sorry"talking to the pirate.telothlion was cowering with tears going down his eyes as the blood from his wings started to cover his feathers.

Label freaked out slightly "h-hey dont be sorry, come over her and let me help you get those arrows out" she said carfulling holding out her hand

"t-thank you" telothlion talking to the pirate trying to get the arrows out himself but failing. he made sure she didnt see his chains.

James raised Kazeshini and held it out in front of him. He spun the sword slowly, but it quickly picked up speed and wind began whipping around James. "Ittoryu: Storm Tunnel!" A vortex made of blades of wind was fired off at the oncoming arrows. The wind slashed through many of the arrows and pushed all the pieces back away from the rest of the crew. James turned, sheathing Kazeshini.

"So," he said. "Is anyone hurt?" Then he noticed Telothlion and the arrows in the guy. James winced. "Ouch. That's got to hurt." He frowned. "Wait a minute. You're not a part of this crew. Who are you?"

hiding everything except from his eyes turning around feeling a bit light headed talking to james "im telothlion please help me . Ill work for you Ill become one of your crew just dont let ''the master'' catch me." still trying and failing to get arrows out of his wings then cried in pain that he managed to supprese untill now

"Um...so you want to join my crew?" James grinned. "Cool! Heiki, fix this guy up. We got a new crew mate!"

not minding one or two new people but three he was sure someone here was in league with the master lying down trying to hide under his own wings.

Heiki popped her head out from behind the tree. "Is the chaos over?" she joked, and then, she grimaced, seeing the stranger's injuries. "Here. Let me fix you up," she said, pulling out bandages and wrapping it around his wounds. She carefully injected some painkillers around the area to relieve him.

Pyriss looked down at the newcomer confused. She walked to the man, observing him. The man probably was from skypiea, by the looks of his wings. There were only a select few people who even knew about Skypiea, but Pyriss only knew about the place, because Zeke began a skirmish with one three years back. There were also people from Skypiea on her navigation crew, the individuals possessed knowledge defying gravity. Pyriss grinned,as she addressed the new crew member," A Skypiean I assume, I haven't seen one in about two years!" Pyriss crouched down to the injured man, reaching her hand out, expecting the man to shake it. She valued the attitude of Skypieans," Pyriss Ukitzu, that is my name, nice to meet you Telothlion was it. Ooh! such a nice name."

jake eyed the individual suspiciously. It wasn't like he was a suspicious person. It wasn't like Jake was racist either, that would be a bit off seeing as he was a fishman himself...
But that guy had popped up out of nowhere, and suddenly all the girls were over him.
Call it jealousy, or call it protective, both might be true. He didn't like it.
He scowled a little, leaning against a tree.
