| Like a mother bear, Jake reacted directly at the cry of the dragon. "Wha- Captain!" He dashed forward underwater to get his captain. It took him less than a second to actually get to him, and grab him. "What are you doing! Want to drown or something?" At least he had him, the man couldn't drown anymore, no matter how hard he tried. | |

| Kaori saw that his help was needed here. He leaped at his opponent, spear in left hand, aiming to grab the staff with his right. Unless the man had seastone in his possession, He wouldn't take down Kaori that easily. He grabbed at the staff, aiming to lock down its position. "Stay!" | |

| James coughed and spluttered as Jake held him up. "T-Thanks Jake..." he said. "There's someone on the ship. He's strong." _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Jack saw Kaori reached towards his staff and he pulled it back, jumping away. As he came down, he banged the staff on the ground with great force then he lifted it and thrust it at Kaori's chest.

| "Stay!" Kaori made his robe immovable as he landed, deflecting the staff. As the staff bounced back, Kaori released the robe, thrusting at his opponent's chest with his spear. | |

| Jack caught the spear with his staff and knocked it aside. Then, once more, he thrust his staff at Kaori. As he did, he muttered something under his breath, "Impact." | |

| "Ah...." Why didn't it surprise him anymore. "Well, then we should get back up again, huh?" One of the wonderful things about being a tuna fishman was that he could basically jump out of the water. That's what he did, still carrying James. He didn't make it onto the ship, but far enough for him to grab the reling and pull himself and his captain up. "What the..." | |

| Heiki watched the fight and slid back into the kitchen. Seeing her crewmates being flung around like stuffed animals, she decided not to fight. It wasn't because she was scared or giving up, but she didn't want to use her improvised weapon. | |

| (Okay, whatever, it doesn't matter, Kaori, so your devil fruit can block the attack. Jack's not going to move until you block it because I don't want to assume you're not going to move.)
"That's him," James confirmed to Jake.
The baby dragon, who was sitting on Jake's head, stared at the man with a look of concentration. He wasn't sure who the guy was, but he didn't like him. Something just didn't feel right to him.

| Pyriss went back into her chambers, the ruckus was too much. She walked with authority to her body, as she did before the foot injury. The foot injury seemed to be fully healed as she was now at full power once again. Though she was unprepared for this particular fight and did not want to take part. She told herself,-leave the fighting to the men-, as she walked into her chamber and slammed the door shut. | |

| "Stay!" Kaori's robe became immovable once again, bouncing the force back to the dial from the robe. "You're going to have to think of something else." Kaori taunted, releasing the robe. His opponent was skilled. Quite too skilled. Even if the staffwielder had a hard time harming him, he had an equally hard time with the opposite. An all too familiar stalemate.... | |

| Jack took a step back as Kaori blocked his attack. "So his technique is to stop things from moving. I wonder how limited he is with that ability?" Jack wondered. The staff wielder noticed Jake and James standing behind him with the baby dragon perched on Jake's head. Jack released his hold on his staff, letting it balance on the deck in front of him, and then he thrust out his hands with fingers splayed. Two small metal tubes poked out of his sleeves of his coat. He pointed one of these tubes at Kaori and the other at James, Jake and the baby dragon. Suddenly jets of flame erupted from the tubes at the two groups.
James easily blocked the flames coming at him and Jake with a blast of wind from Kazeshini. The baby dragon took one look at the fire and cried out in happiness. He dove into the flames and began bouncing around in them, letting the heat fill him up.

| Kaori leaped upwards, locking his shoes in place as he reached the apex. "Stay!" The stranger had hit the weak spot. His ability was no quite absolute immovability. As the flames passed, he released the shoes, dropping down. He immediately slashes down with the point of his spear, trying to cut the stranger. | |

| Jack saw Kaori leaping through the air and he turned to face him, letting his hands fall back down. As they did, the flames stopped coming from the tubes and they were retracted into his sleeves. Jack watched as Kaori dropped back down to attack and he snatched up his staff to block the spear. Jack then jumped back and nearly tripped over the baby dragon, who's body glowed slightly from the flames. He spun and hit the baby dragon with his spear sending it flying away. | |

| "Aagh! Baby D!" Baby d was the new nickname for the dragon. And Jake was not happy to see it fly away. He jumped to catch the poor thing, which he did, but only to let it fall a second later. "Hot! I'm sorry Baby d, you all right?" jake blew at his hands to cool them down and then turned to Jack. "How dare you get him involved in this?" He was really, really angry. He jumped forward and aimed a punch at the human. | |

| Jack easily blocked the punch with the end of his staff and when he did, Jake's fist stopped where it was. "Mistake..." Jack said quietly. He spun thrusting the other end of his staff at Jake's chest. "Impact." | |

| Rai actually not too far from where the battle had been taking place, he had disembarked to begin his adventure but a mere 5 or so hours ago so he hadn't had any experience at all outside of his village. Rai could see a ship and a smaller boat in the far off distance, he saw a small human looking figure leaping into the air from the small boat on the large ship.
This intrigued Rai and a smile arose on his face, he turned his back towards the direction of the ship where he want to go and begun to row drawing closer and closer to the ship until he was quite a distance away from it before stopping to observe the scenery. There seemed to be some sort of conflict going on on the ship, Rai begun to row closer to get a look, he made sure to stay out of anyone's site and halted his small boat below by the ship.
Rai then got up and crouched down on the boat, he pushed himself up as if to jump but his feet never left the ground this created enough momentum for the boat to now sink enough to aid him but not let water within it. Rai used the water like an elastic bouncy castle, when the ship was being pushed back up he leaped off the boat leaping high enough into the air to just grab hold of the ship but still be inconspicuous as he peeked over it. "What's going on here?" He said quietly to himself. |

| ((It doesn't look like GoreFish is going to show up to deal with this. We'll just continue without her for now.))
As the staff came in to hit Jake two figures jumped in to stop it. One was James, who sent out a blast of wind from Kazeshini, which blew the staff off course. The other was the baby dragon, who had become enraged from both being kicked and from the fact that his 'pop' was in danger. He hurled himself at Jack and sunk his teeth into Jack's arm, startling the man. Jack tried to knock the dragon off his arm with a punch, but the dragon didn't even flinch when he was hit. Jack cried out in pain as flames poured down the baby dragon's throat and burned his arm. He swung the staff with all his force down at the baby dragon's head.
"IMPACT!" he roared. A burst of energy erupted from his staff. Some of the energy bounced off of the dragon's armor, but it did some internal damage. The baby dragon opened its jaws and fell backwards screeching.

| ((Sorry, was pretty busy...)) "Baby D!" Jakes expression was a mixture of horror and anger. But mostly anger. Fine, the stranger stopped his fist. That tended to happen an awful lot these days. But he had to hit him at some point, right? Jake aimed a kick at Jacks head. | |

| "ENOUGH!" Jack blocked Jake's kick and absorbed the impact into his staff, then he brought his staff down on the deck of the ship causing it to explode. James dove back to avoid the crash and the baby dragon was sent spinning away to a corner of the ship. Jack appeared on the side of the ship, his staff leaning against his shoulder. "This is pathetic," he sneered. "How does a group of pirates, such as yourselves, expect to get anywhere on the Grandline?"
"Who said we were headed to the Grandline?" James countered.
"It's obvious from your course where you are going," Jack said. "I am nothing compared to what awaits you on the Grandline and the only one of you that could harm me was that beast over there." He waved a hand at the baby dragon, who was lying in a corner of the ship, licking his wounds and whimpering. "I suggest you turn back now before you suffer any more damage."

| while pressing her pen on the parchment of her journal. A loud noise echoed from her chambers, the noise related to the sense of destruction. As the battle continued, Pyriss interrupted the sense realization, opening the door of her chamber, which followed with an excessively loud slam. She took one step out of her comfort zone, waving her long black hair. Suddenly, a presence not far from her location, spurred into her mind. She possessed the ability to sense some one at least 27 feet away, though she could take the ability even further with the proper training.
She yelled in the location of Rai, "" You over there! Eavesdropping much? Show yourself and tell me who you are, you aren't hiding from anyone."
The figure hiding in the distance, distracted her from the real problem, the man from earlier was still on the ship and destroyed some of the ship! She looked at the man with the staff, looking around, spotting the areas of destruction.
She looked at the man with a sense of frustration and fury, as she yelled," Who are you! What are you doing on my captain's ship. By the way, your going to pay for that. Money will do nicely."
She wondered where Heiki was located as she activated her bossy persona, asking Heiki where she was," Heiki this is important, can you come out please?"

| Heiki was attempting to yawn when Pyriss interrupted her. She walked out onto deck and noticed the stranger hiding in the distance. Then, she glanced over at the person with the staff and the rest of the crewmembers. "Pyriss, you're not looking at the big picture," the girl laughed, slightly amused. | |

| Jack didn't even spare Pyriss a glance. "In any case," he continued. "There is no point for us to continue. Farewell." He turned and jumped down to his ship. He raised the sails and set off from the ship.
James's arms dropped down to his sides. His expression cold. He turned and strode across the deck. "PYRISS!" he shouted. "Where are you! I need a sea chart of our current position and the islands around us!"

| "WAIT!" Jake wasn't fiished with him yet. Damn! He leaned over the side of the ship and almost jumped after him, when realization finally kicked in. He couldn't beat that guy. He looked after the ship angrily for a while, then he let his head and shoulders hang. Somehow, he had the feeling he had failed Guri... And his crew... and most of all the baby dragon. right! the dragon! Jake turned and ran to him, then picked him up and held him so that he could see him. "Are you okay? Were you injured? i swear, if you were injured, I'll..." | |

| ((One of these days I'm going to have him fly and then the dragon will get his name.))
The baby dragon grinned weakly and licked Jake's hands that were holding him. "Pop..." he murmured. He closed his eyes and began snoring as he slipped off to sleep.

| Pyriss sighed, she really wanted that man to pay for the ship, one part of it, completely in shambles. Pyriss pulled a sheet out of her journal, a large description, already written on the page.
She bent down, placing the paper on the floor. responding to her captain,"We are crossing............"she looked at the sea chart with a mixed reaction. "The red line! we are approximately 14 miles from it! We are about to go up, and I might not need this compass anymore!"
