{Nexus Island, Grand Line}
A man sat in a bar, an empty whiskey bottle hanging loosely in one hand. He had long dark hair which he had let grow out so that it was fell that his back a short ways. He was tall, but, at the moment, was unimposing. His wiry frame bent over the bar in front of him. His hazel eyes flickering open and closed in his drunken state.
“’nother,” he demanded, slamming the bottle on the counter.
“You haven’t even paid me for that one!” the barkeeper said.
The man didn’t even seem to hear him. He looked around impatiently before repeating, “’nother!”
“Not until you’ve paid me,” the barkeeper said, keeping his voice as even as possible.
This time the man’s eyes locked onto the barkeeper’s. His empty hand suddenly became a blur as he reached down and whipped out a pistol and fired pointblank into the barkeeper’s head. A few people screamed as the man’s lifeless body toppled to the floor. Several others jumped to their feet and ran for the door, but the drunken man spun around and fired on them as well, knocking a few down just as they reached the entrance.
“No one’s –hic– going anyvhere,” the drunken man slurred. Then he turned back to the bar and banged his whiskey bottle on the counter. “’NOTHER!”

{Aurora Pirate’s Ship}
Everything was still and silent on the deck of the ship. It was a little bit cloudy, but otherwise the weather was good. Suddenly the silence was broken by a resounding BOOM! The door to the ship’s kitchen was flung open as the figure of a young man was hurled through them. It was James. His swords were, oddly enough, absent. Even stranger still he was wearing an apron. He hit the deck and quickly popped back to his feet, apparently uninjured, and he glared at the kitchen as if this were all somehow its fault.
“And it looked so easy when sis did it…” he grumbled. “She was right. I should just stick to breaking ships.”
