Serious: The Aurora Pirates Part 5: True Strength

The dragon laughed as Jake through him up in the air and then caught him. In answer to Jake's question he simply said: "Ship."

"Daaaaaw!"
How Jake nearly got a heart attack over anything the dragon did was beyond a normal beings comprehension.
He turned to Rai, and was suddenly perfectly normal again. Well, as normal as a huge grinning fishman could be.
"So, you take the lead."

Pyriss observed each sword, the detail rather significant and extravagant. Amazing texture, the symbolizing possessing confusion but overall a well crafted sword. Pyriss never seen the blades up close, but now she realized how James was able to perform such unbelievable techniques. "Wow, very impressive. It must be destiny that you found such beautifully decorated swords. So you are skilled in the Nitoryu style, right? Hmmm............Wow you are more impressive than I thought. How old are you by the way?"

{cmon Rai post! I know that you are rping with your crew, but we need to move on as well. And why hasn't coffeelatte posted in like two weeks?}

((I'll go remind Rai to post. As for coffeelatte, if she doesn't show up by the end of this RP I'll just remove her from the crew as I did with Kagirinai.))

"Yeah, I'm decent in Nitoryu, but I more often fight with Ittoryu," James said. "My swords are actually suited for specific purposes." He slid the swords back into their sheaths over his left shoulder. "And I'm eighteen. How old are-wait, that's one of those death questions that you're not supposed to ask a female, right?"

Pyriss projected a lackadaisical, but intimidating look on her face as she replied to James" Yes Please don't ask those questions. Women don't like to specify their personal information!..........Just Kidding, actually I'm 21 years old. Yes, I am old enough to drink!" Pyriss giggled, she didn't believe that James would find it funny, but she had her own sense of humor. Pyriss scratched her head , she started to get impatient.

((I just realized that most people are being kinda inactive. It isn't just this crew. There is one or two groups of people who are doing things, but I'm in four different RPs right now and none of them are going anywhere.))

"Yeah," James said. "But what's so great about drinking? Besides, we're pirates...I think...normal rules don't apply to us."

((Sorry i haven't posted lately, just to late you know for future reference, i have collage like all day Wednesday to friday so i might not even be able to get onto the computer let alone post ))

"Yes, that's were James and Pyriss currently are...i'll head back right now and let them know that you guys are coming along" He said happily as he turned round about to leave "If you don't know where it is all you have to do is just look for the area with the most crowds, that will most likely be the shopping area." After that being said Rai was off in almost a flash, within a matter of seconds he was back where James and Pyriss where. "Hey, i got the people at the bar and the guys from the ship, i told them to meet us here." he said as he paused waiting for a reply.

(School here too. Today, I had a saturday school day )
"Captain!" Kaori had reached the square, and called out to his captain. He walked to him, seeing that he was talking to one of the other crewmembers. "The newbie was sent for me, and we have another one who wants to join."

Most crowds...Most crowds... Ah, there.
Jake headed for the biggest crowd he could see. He had lost that guys track within seconds. Why did he have to hurry so much?
He looked around and saw his captain.
He waved and made his way towards him.

"Really?" James whipped around. "Who wants to join?"

Spotting his friends gathering in one place, the baby dragon jumped from Jake's shoulders, spread his wings, and for the first time ever glided over to the rest of the group.

Labelisa steped out from behind kaori and waved slightly as she grined "that would be me sir"

Pyriss looked in the direction of the girl behind Kaori, one thought came to her mind,Why is she behind Kaori? She looked at the girl with a stern look, she did not trust the girl at all. She wondered who she was, and why she wanted to join? Those questions popped into her head like lightning. Pyriss's smile turned into a scorn, by the mere presence of the woman she was staring at. Before her captain could speak, she asked,"What can you do? How would you benefit this crew?"

James had been about to speak when Pyriss spoke before him. It surprised him so much that he just stood there for a second, unsure what to do. James glanced back at her, once again about to say something, but the look on her face stopped him. Was she...angry? James couldn't really tell. This was the first time he had seen her react like this. Maybe, just maybe he should stay out of this one.

Labelisa looked over at the girl and blinked as her grin turned into a confuzed look before she though "well i uh im really good at cleaning up messes really quick. "and i could help in fights, im good with my sword" she said grining with hopfullness that she would atlest have a chance of joining.

Pyriss sighed, everyone in the crew including Immelman possessed a valid purpose to be in the crew in the eyes of Pyriss. James, the captain of the crew, the executive and the shipwright. Jake, the vice executive, the advisory, and the cavalry. Kaori, the protector, and the fighter. Heiki, the doctor. Rai, the chef. Immelman, the scout, immelman could possibly communicate with wildlife, a very valuable treasure. Lastly, Pyriss the navigator. Everyone possessed a talent, and a purpose, besides the woman of the subject. "Everyone can fight here! Everyone, besides Heiki cleans around here. So I wonder, why do you want to..." She looked to James,"What am I doing, the captain should decide who joins the crew. What do you think James?"

Heiki followed after Jake and found everyone standing around some girl she had never seen before.

"Um...yeah," James cleared his throat. "You can join."

Labelisa grined as her eyes lit up with joy "oh thank you thank you thank you!" she said jumping up and down with join happily "i promise ill do everything in my power to help around the ship" she said smiling as she stood up staight "oh and my name is Label, Label nickles" she decided it was best to say with her alias, instead of giving out her true name.

"Okay, whatever," James waved a hand dismissively. "Just don't slow us down. Since we're all here, except Aya, I suppose I should tell you why I called you all here. The thing is, I believe that I have found the old man we were looking for." James turned and pointed off into the distance inland. "Supposedly this old guy lives on the other side of this island, which is covered in a forest. Because of this, we'll be going there on foot. It shouldn't be too far. Besides, the ship still needs repairs and I don't have the time to do it right now." James looked back around at his crew. "From what I have learned in the village, I believe that the old guy hides out in the woods as a test to see who is willing to do what is necessary to find him. It's either that or he just doesn't like company, but I like the first choice better so let's just go with that one. Either way, it may be dangerous out in the forest so be on your guard. Any questions? You can ask them as we walk. Let's go everyone." James turned and started off on the long walk towards the other side of the island.

Jake caught the dragon, giddy with joy and bery readily expressing it.
After a while, he finally noticed Labelisa.
With a curious look on his face, he moved towards her a little, still with the baby dragon in one hand.
"Uhm, I don't think I know you. You're new, right?"
Crazy, he was already getting used to having newcomers. Was getting normal. But such a pretty one, he had to greet himself.
He stretched his free hand out and grinned, showing his sharp teeth to the world yet again, like he had done so often before.
"I'm Jake, the first mate of the crew. And you are....?"

Labelisa looked up as a tall man, with what seemed to be a dragon in his hand, come over to her. Labelisa smiled polietly at the man and nodded to his first quetion. Then taking his hand and shaking it "Label Nickles, its nice to meet you jake"

"Label? That's a nice name."
Jake grinned even wider. Normally, humans didn't take so well to him.
But now, he was totally contempt and happy.
"I really hope we'll be friends, label!"
Then, he followed James, too giddy to really talk much.

Label smiled brightly and nodded "as do i" she laughed softly and also followed the group, glacing up at jack and the dragon. She REALLY wanted to pet it, but decied agenst it, not knowing if it was friendly or not

"I'm Heiki," she greeted, yawning and stretching her arms out. "Nice to meet you."

Label smiled softly "its nice to meet you to heiki"
