Kesu chapter 3: Voyage and the beginning of the next job

Menos casually raised a hand "I volunteer" he said simply

Devin steped ahead of Menos "I dont think so, Ill go even if they all attack at once you'll be safest with me"

"I'd agree with you Devin, but as the first mate it is your job to protect the ship." The Thespian explained.

Staples looked at Menos and said, "...I guess you're going with the boss."

"Wait" Alison said "Defluo and i should go with as well, Invisible of corse, we can assist if things get violent" She said "I really insist" she look at Menos she expression wasn't obviously hostile, but more cold, no trust or affection was to been seen in her piercing green eyes.

"Normally, I would object as I am the captain but I understand. However, Do not make one false move." The Thespian thought of saying a rallying speech but it would be unneccessary as there would be no trouble.

"Of Corse, we will do nothing but observe, unless your lives are threatened" Defluo spoke this time alison walked over and sat side saddle on his back( both legs on one side if you don't know) they did not become invisible, yet.

Just then, though Alison was the only one to feel it all of Meno's frustrations and the dark enargy of his intentions projected itself right back in to her eyes, she wouldent be able to pick up on what it meant but she would feel it, feel the hidden power behind his cool composed and pleasent face, all the evil behind the mask of his kindess and it said dont look at me like that... Alison~ but to everyone else in the ship he looked as calm freindly and understanding as ever "alright Alison, and if they fight back, dont hesitate to show them what you can do" he said in a very encouraging manor

Devin put his hands down to the deck "Tetsu no... Senkan!" (translation "Iron battleship") and metal spread allong the outside of the ship forming a steel layer around the area in danger of canon fire while leaving the ship boyant

Alison was not scared of Menos, maybe a little surprised that her suspicion was so true but that didnt show in her face. Her eyes narrowed. Defluo tapped with his tail on her back "Did you feel that dear?" "Of corse" she tapped back. Then they both disappeared "We're ready" she said cheerfully for the rest of the crew as she they walked over to Menos she whispered in his ear so only he would hear "Don't worry Menos, we never hesitate" she said so fiercely and coldly that evan the most collected person, would be unsettled.

how bothersome, as soon as this is done I wont have anything to fear from that girl... Im to close to be stoped now Menos outwordly apeared unphased "here they come" he said standing in front of Becky and whispering to her "your Tekkai should be enugh to withsand bullets but to be safe Ill sheild you with mine"

Devin stood up having readdied the defenses making a metal brige for them to board with and creating a few new cannons "staples, help me out here?" he said with the tone of a man who had quite a few things to do

Staples pondered why one would be preparing cannons for a negotiation, but complied with Devin's request. "......What exactly do you want me to do?" Staples asked. He wasn't being sarcastic or aggressive, he just wasn't sure what needed to be done.

Becky was moved by Menos' kindness, as seen by her blush. "T-thank you." She stood up a took a spot next to Menos. The time of most danger drew closer and closer with each passing moment. Becky tried to calm herself, putting her mind to wherever was safe. Hey Dad.....I'm stronger now. If you could see me now.....maybe you'd be proud.

Menos looked back to Becky "what ever happans Becky, youve done very well and Im proud of you" he said so kindly

Devin explained "well this is just a safety procaution, but Cannons need powder to work and apart from you we havent got any" he said while working metal defenses all over the ship

Becky made a smile, finally she brought up just enough courage to say it. "I--!" and it all left her. "--n-nevermind." Real smooth.

"Well we better get over there, after you Thespian." Alison said from her invisible mount, she look over to Menos that kind look on his face was just a mask, a mask that was so visible to only her. Poor Rebecca, it would be the hardest on her when that mask falls away, Alison might not know his plan but she knew that he was going to be Exposed, evan if she would have to be the one to pull of the mask her self.

Ozzy ruffled his hair, he had been playing a new piece of music, he was aware of the mission, but his fever had not subsided since the battle with Alfresco. Ozzy walked up and approached Devin "So what is the battle plan exactly guvnor......." Ozzy looked around a few new faces he was not aware off.

"The battle plan is you stay here while a few escorts and I talk to the pirates." The Thespian explained. Afterwards, he motioned for Menos and Allison to follow as he prepared to bored. "Becky, why don't you make Ozzy breakfast?" The Thespian attempted to distract Ozzy and Rebecca, to of the lighthearted members, from the upcoming battle.

Ozzy's face fell a bit "But i recovered from my fever, i feel much better sir, i can fight too....." Ozzy felt he was on the sidelines for too long, he too was itching for a good fight which he had not had in a while, but none the less, he would follow whatever the leader told him to do.

"Are we ready to go Thespian?" Alison said. She hoped it wouldn't surprise ozzy to much, he didn't know she was standing there, Invisible.

"Indeed we are." Time to go onto the ship, he thought to himself. "Lets head out." Then he was out.

Ozzy looked to his side when he heard the voice of the woman, he was surprised but regained composure "And who are you exactly? ive not been feeling well so ive been below deck,......."

The ship was borarded and pirates were hostile as could be expeced but seemed tenitive to let the intruders board

Im afraid we don't have time for a proper introduction but My name is Alison, and my partner is Defluo." she said "Im sorry we cant become visible at the moment because we need to covert." Defluo said. They walked over to stand behind Thespian, ready to head out when he did.

Ozzy then scowls "Devin , what do we know about the newbies? Captain Thespian seems to like them........." Ozzy was not in a particularly good mood, he was useless in enies lobby and had been thirsting to prove himself. He took out his violin and played a soft melodious tune which was not too loud.
