Kesu chapter 3: Voyage and the beginning of the next job

Menos explained "the tempest kick is a technique in which the user cuts the air with a very quick kick creating a wave of condensed, pressurized air that cuts a target like a blade, its one of the only ranged rokushiki, but with your natural spines Id think that the other offensive rokushiki, The finger gun or Shigan would be more suited to you" he continued simply "shigan is a skill where the user prices a target with the force of a bullet, tricentennial with the finger though I would hazard a guess that such a technique could also be performed with your spines if you learned the basic form"

So bullet fingers or super kick? Both seemed tempting. Becky thought for a moment. "Bullet Finger then."

Menos thought a moment "I had tried to learn it before, the trick to shigan is shifting all the mass of your body to your finger as you move it forward at intensely fast speeds, ordinarily this will just hurt your hand but when performed correctly it will actually allow the finger to pirce the target with out harm. Try tensing your finger the way you did with tekkai before hand, that might help... and as a target I suppose you could try the mast, its much to thick to go down from even a real bullet"

All my mass to my fingers? All of it? Wonder how that works.... Becky put her index and middle fingers together performed tekkai on them, jamming her fingers into the mast. It made a small dent, but not bullet-worthy. One more time.... she repeated the process finally putting her fingers inside of the mast with the force of....well....a bullet. She struggled for a moment then pulled them out. "How was that?"

Menos was suddenly oddly proud of Becky, in this short time a bond had formed "that... was acceptional Becky... youve done very well to become a four power user in one day, Id sugest that you use the rest of this voyage to pirfect and customize your new powers... you are now as accompished as I am..." he said kindly feeling a bit guilty now that he was planing on betraying her

"I'll do that." Becky said. her confidence lessened just a tad. "M-menos.....thank you." she said before going off to another part of the ship to train.

((now is a good time to think of moves for becky and include them with one ones she learned (soru, tekkai, shigan and gheppou) in her sheet))

Menos took a seat by he dock and looked up at the sky "its beter if we all know some fighting skill, now no one will fall behind in our mission" he said simply, the sun was overhead now "where did the day go?" he mused

Days passed, a bond of trust began to form between the crew members as they learned to sail fight and funtion as a unit. Soon the time aproached as the smaller island grew closer the ships they passed grew in number as well, pirates no doubt.

Becky sat in the fetal position off to the side. She had a clear view of all the ships that they passed. "We're gonna have a fight on our hands, ey?" she had more techniques, she'd gotten stronger, but she still felt like it would be a tough fight.

Devin was standing upright, he had nothing to fear "perhaps, or maybe they see the pirate flag.. sort of thing we have and have just assumed were here for busness, they seen to simply be passing us..."

Menos looked around "aperainces can be deseaving Devin" the beter chance for casualties on Kesus part the beter

Hyu was lying down on the deck of the ship, bored out of his mind. He had forgotten how much travel was necessary here. He sighed, his shurikan in hand. He began throwing them into the deck of the ship and pulling them back out.

Alison had used the journey to perfect, and develop some new techniques. Today she was perfecting her newest, "Tempest Double Fan!" Her fans began to glow Cyan and she threw them at the same time, the two Fans Flew out about 10 ft and crossed each other and flew back to her, she easily caught them "Perfect" she smiled to her self.

((there are pirate ships kinda... close to them... they were debating on weather or not to attack and alsion just threw her fans around...))

Devin looked at each of the ships in passing "I donno menos they seem to be leaving in a hurry"

what they didnt know was that their had been a sale on devilfruits from the smugglers as they knew ahead of time that Kesu was coming, all part of Meno's exelently woven web of treachary

They got closer and closer to their destination. Becky sighed. "I feel like.....something bad's gonna happen. I don't think we're gonna die.....just something.....worse." she said to herself, to most it would not have been heard. She took deep breaths, trying to stay calm and shake the nervousness and fear away.

The Thespian noticed the pirates and made a decision. He made a wave of relaxation pass over the pirate crew "We need to interrogate, or casually question them. They may have information we need..." He looked to Devin, "bring the ship towards them. We shall board peacefully, but be prepared for conflict." He knew there was danger, but believed he could keep the crew safe. Becky wasn't feeling safe, and so Thespian said to her, "I will, personally, make sure your life is safe."

Becky smiled nervously. "Thanks Thespian." It was the first time she had used his name rather than just "boss", she hoped it wouldn't have to be the last time. She looked around to every member of the crew. "But....make sure we all come home alive. Not just me."

"The crew shall survive..." He promised to Becky. "Now, who other than I, should be boarding the vessel? I shall only take one escort." The Thespian walked to his cabin. The door creaked as it opened and Thespian strolled inside. He grabbed his knife from the table and put it on his belt. He walked back out, "Make a decision now."
