Untouchable Pirates: Landfall (Open)

Returning to the ship with a cart full of supplies, Jackson stopped it at the bottom of the gangplank and began carrying supplies up. Starting with the bags of preserved food, he unceremoniously dumped them into the hold. Organizing them would give him something to do when they were underway. "So, Alastor, what do you think of the ship?"

Upon Finishing His inspection Alastor Nodded in approval and says " this is a Fine ship you got here Captain If you Don't mind I can do some improvements to your ship?" Alastor face Beamed with excitement when he mentionsed this

"Haha! What did you have in mind?" Jackson finished placing the last of the food items and was in all honesty, interested in what the new crew member would suggest. "There is no maximum price!" he jeered. Stand raised his head from his workplace in the hold and spoke up to the deck. "Except for what we actually have to spend." The captain's grin vanished, quickly replaced by a sullen expression. "Well, except that."

"Ah Just reinforcing the sides of the ship, Add A long Spike in front of the ship for better ramming capabilities. A few trap Doors On the ship for enemies, And if you got it maybe add some sea stone on the bottom of the ship to ward away sea king's. Well i can probally gather some of these materials if we go sink a couple of ships" Alastor Smile Grew as he metions sinking ship's

Jackson cupped his chin between thumb and index finger as he pondered the idea. "And how well can you sink a ship without drawing attention." Surely Alastor remembered the goal of riches without fame. "And besides. We're in town now. We can buy what we need now rather than hunting for it. And I don't think we can refurbish a ship at sea." He had the mental image of hammering in the wrong place and sinking his own ship. "I don't swim so well." He laughed before continuing. "But I'll leave the decision to you. After all, you're the shipwright, right?" He paused, thinking about what he just said. "Was that a pun, or a play on words?"

"Well If you Buy Sme steel and wood here i can reinforce the ship while here.And i can Look into the matter of finding enough iron in this town to make us a spike fir the front of the ship. Oh and i would just swim under a ship and rip it apart and taking what ever parts from it we would need, even bring back a few spare cannon's " Alastor said While looking at Jackson

The idea was sound, Jackson thought, but the cannons... "Don't get any cannons. We don't want people to notice that we gain while they lose. Stand!" He shouted the last word down into the hold. The reply came shortly after as a simple; "Yes?" The captain looked down into the hold and motioned back to the town. "Come on, we need to get steel and wood." The doctor climbed from the hold, carrying a notepad and pen. "How much of each Al?" Jackson laughed at Stand's words. "You really like shortening conversations. Al. Hahaha. Not too fitting though."

Smiling Alastor gave out a hearty laugh "We will need 20 steel sheet's and 30 thick sheet's of lumber, and if you come across an iron worker see what it would coast for a large iron spike and that should do it"

Stand took down the information on the notepad, receiving an odd look from Jackson. "Why are you writing it down? Afraid we'll forget?" The doctor put the paper in a pocket on his coat before responding. "How many steel sheets?" Dead silence filled the air for a moment before Jackson began laughing. "Point made then. Let's make this quick."

In a little over two hours, the two returned with everything on the list, Jackson apparently complaining about something. "I'm just saying, all he had to do was cast the spike. I don't see why he needed that much belli. Oy! Alastor, we're back."

Excited Alastor Said 'Welcome Back Captain, Ill get to work on the ship right away" Alastor Start to reinforce the ship hammering away. Adding a trapdoor On deck, And Moveing the heavy iron spike to the front of the ship (Good thing hes a fishman) Alastor Works Tirelessly on the ship .

Jackson was very impressed with the speed at which the fishman worked. With an awe inspired whistle and shallow laugh, he sat down on the deck, simply observing the work as it was done.

Stand took less interest, instead once again surrounding himself in his won work, checking bubbling beakers, boiling cylinders, and simmering vials.
