[Research Facility]

"Shit if he was still in the building the squints would have found him by now." Barton mumbled to himself as he took status reports. Barton quickly moved out, leaving the building and towards the levy; he had to make contact with the water bound asset. What he thought about it was irrelevant that this point, orders were orders; especially when they came from the ones behind the scenes. As Barton was walking towards the river he encountered a frantic marine lieutenant running towards him with a message.

"Sir, we received a damage signal from the control panel at the gate. No one at their station is answering our hails so we believe someone is trying to open or bring down the gate from the inside." Kenju said relaying the message.

"I don't have time to deal with a few fucking pirates. Go take care the situation and stop them from opening the main gate at all costs." he ordered. Barton paused for a moment while the marine ran down a path. He knew he was forgetting something. It hit him all of the sudden...where was Kyo? "Where is the agent from the World Government?!" roared the captain. It appeared that Kenju either didn't hear or didn't want to hear him. "Damn it." Barton muttered. He needed to get to the water, even if the out of control asset could easily ambush him when he did.

The marine turned to head for the docks to grab a skiff to take him to the front faster. As he ran down the stone corridor he heard the captain yell something to him. He was too far away to hear and decided that the situation at the gate took precedent over whatever Barton had to say at the moment. Kenju had a pretty good idea of what he had to say; after all Barton was the one that assigned him to the crazy bitch detail.

Kyōkihime watched as the marine that had been assigned to her, turned and ran towards the headquarters in the back of the compound. He was likely assigned a task the required him to use one of the small boats the heads of the base used to get around. Down the path she could see Barton coming toward her. The old marine looked like he was in a hurry as he walked he seemed to look past her. That was fine by her; she had no time to quarrel with him she had a mission to accomplish. "What's the situation at the research facility? Are all of the assets still intact?" she asked. She stopped but didn't bother turning around to face the man he loathed so.

Barton stopped in his tracks and turned towards the she-bitch in surprise. "Wait how do you know about the assets? ...Never mind of course you do. We're using one to fight the pirates and it looks like a second we don't have under control escaped." he said gritting his teeth. He hated that he had to treat her as a fellow marine. She didn't have the training or the discipline of a marine, yet he was expected to just do whatever she wanted. He didn't give a damn whether she was some government dog; she needed to respect the real soldiers.

"Make sure that both assets are returned as soon as possible. That's an order." She went on her way without so much as a word of gratitude or even an attempt to further acknowledge his presence. Kyo rushed towards the facility where she noticed a couple of marines standing around. They looked odd, one was old and the other was huge. If she hadn't been ordered to secure the facility she may have taken a bit of time to investigate but then again it wasn't really her problem either way. She had to wait until the other two were returned before she could make it all disappear. Kyo figured if she engulfed the facility early she had better make certain all of its assets came along with it. After all, what's a play set worth if some of the pieces are missing?

Ivan and Bigie waited and listened to their den den mushi communication system they had sat up. The men that had taken the stations were relaying them information that the marines were transmitting. A group of pirates had blown a hole in the wall on the eastern side and there was suspected pirate activity to the south at the gate consisting of damaged control boards and unanswered calls. There were also stations that had missed their check in on both the eastern and western walls.

"I doubt Iken would blow a hole in ze wall, and I don't see him being intricate enough to try and open ze gate from ze inside." Ivan whispered.

"But he burnt down da town. That there Las Campa place, he did." Bigie responded.

"I doubt zat was him. He's too soft to kill civilians like zat. Even when he was running away from a mob intent on kill him he ordered his crew to only defend their-selves. Does zat sound like someone who would burn down a town a year later?" Ivan argued.

Bruce was daydreaming in the water just floating there when he noticed that the girl has left. He felt a little disheartened that he couldn't gaze upon her some more, and that he had been spacing off causing him to lessen the time he actually got. It was like a dream; so short and sweet that it didn't even seem real. Meandering around the river was a much better way to pass the time than sitting around it that little pool. There were even some small ocean fish that had managed to get in through the gate. Bruce enjoyed the little snacks floating down the river, even if they had been fired to a crisp by the gate. In all actuality the burnt fish he was eating was a slight improvement on what the marines were feeding him on a day to day basis.

[Warehouse Complex]

Pyro had followed Derge after Argis gave the order; they were to meet up at the fifth warehouse. Derge was certain that Argis was a good leader however it still bothered him how close he and Pyro were getting. The young marine could put it into words but he felt off that Pyro was listening to the captain when before he would have taken off as soon as Derge had. It was becoming apparent that if they stayed with this man for much longer, he would garner more and more control over them. Derge knew he couldn't compete with that strange attraction that some people just have, a kind of natural charisma.

As Derge grew closer he could see a mass of pirates pouring into the gap in the wall. It didn't appear that they had really started in any particular direction. They probably hadn't received any orders yet. Derge wondered if he could exploit that fact somehow. He realized he should at least relay the message to Argis. Floating down towards Argis Derge sat himself down beside his captain.

"It looks like there could be as many as 100 men down there. They don't seem to have any direction as they're mostly staying in one large cluster." he relayed to Argis. "They're not heading this way and our priority is these warehouses." Derge said giving his opinion.

[East Wall]

As Iken was running along the top of the wall, marines from the nearest guard station were running towards them. As soon as the two groups were insight of each other, the marines stopped; forming a line and aiming their rifles. Iken could see them aim and fire an instant before they actually completed the action. They were unskilled movements and their aim was what was to be expected of a random foot soldier. The marines had no technique when it came to shooting their weapons. Iken grabbed Desais and Cole pulling them down and out of the way of the oncoming flurry of bullets. Most of the shots were high and whizzed over the pirates' heads while a few others were low hitting down by their feet.

Before the marines could reload, Iken swung his sword creating a gut strong enough to knock the marines back and down. It wasn't an airblade or even a technique it was simply a gust created by the sheer power of his swordsmanship. "Desais and Cole stop them from reloading by any means. Leave the ones that charge to me." Iken ordered pointing at the marines scrambling to reload from on the ground. Iken charged forward pulling out his second sword, readying it for attack. "Dark Operation" He dove under the butt of the rifles that were aimed at his head. While in mid dive he sliced the patellar tendon of two marines causing them to fall face first to the ground. They screamed as blood spouted out of their legs. He crossed his blades blocking several weak strikes from crappy standard issue cutlasses and a few more rifle stocks.

[Bloody Pirates]

The swarm of pirates felled many a normal marine. They caused explosions all across the east side of Stone Hound, leading up to the warehouses for their captain and vice-captain. Captain Jack and Kiddo barely lifted a finger as they walked over to the warehouses. Clearly they were hoping to find some good treasure once they had gotten there. "Aye this be an excellent day for some fencing. Not only that but some sharpshooting." said the captain as he noticed some marines aiming at them with their rifles. The captain pulled out his two pistols and felled four of them as his sun ran over and took care of the rest. The regular marines were easy pickings for the crew. Though they knew it wouldn't be long before majority of their ranks were dead and at the mercy of much stronger marines. Perhaps an admiral or two would make their way to them.

Whatever the case may be, they weren't afraid of dying. Every Bloody Pirate in the crew had a code they each wished to maintain. That code was to enter this world bleeding and screaming and to make sure that everyone else exits that world the same way. Everyone being themselves as well. This they considered to be the ultimate way to live their life and to end it. If they obtain some riches along the way, then that was just a bonus to them. Although Captain Jack definitely enjoyed the riches more than anything within his crew. He smiled a sinister grin as they finally came up upon the warehouses. "Alright Kiddo, let's have some fun." said the captain as Kiddo kicked down the door.

[Steel Village]

There was chaos all around them and it was extremely nuts. Explosions left and right and loud screams all around. Desais could barely hear his own thoughts with all of the noise. Then, all of a sudden, he was tackled down to the ground. Desais looked over to see Iken pulling them down out of the way of marine shots. Well there goes us trying to be hidden Desais thought as he readied for a fight. Iken barked orders to him and Cole telling them to take down the marines in the back. Desais pulled out two bone katanas and jumped off towards the marines.

"Gear first!" Desais said as wings began to form on his back. As soon as the wings formed, Desais pushed off the air and went at Soru speeds towards them. As he got close he turned his wings inwards causing him to spin. His arms extended outwards with his katanas slicing into the flesh of the marines around him. As he stopped spinning, the katanas melded back within his body and he had his hands pointed out like a knife towards the other marines. "Hone Hone no......Bone Shotgun!" yelled Desais as he unleashed a barrage of piercing phalanges at the marines.

[Warehouse 5]
Argis, Pyro, and Derge had just arrived at the warehouses when the pirates began to attack. Pyro was ready. He was wanting bloodshed. His new form had influenced him. Made a small mark in his own behavior. Pyro ran into battle, drawing his cutlass and partially transforming into his hybrid form. Pyro cut down the easy pirates one after another. The pirate seemed to like targeting pyro. He wasn't bleeding. Which seemed to make himself known. Only flames erupted over his wounds, and the weaklings couldn't even begin to damage him enough to cause him true harm. He would cut them down one after another.

"Derge! I'm at 34!"

Pyro shouted at Derge, bragging about his number. It had been hardly a minute since they joined the fight and he had already killed a substantial number of pirates. But he would soon fall back. There were marines that needed tending and he was the only one who could heal them quickly enough to matter in the battle. As he thought this, he jumped into the air and used his wing to gust himself above his foe, slicing the limbs of 3 unsuspecting pirates from above.

Argis did not even acknowledge the pirates around him. Like pyro, he was also clean of blood. But the pirates seemed to stay away from him. They all fell swiftly and cleanly as they got near. Suddenly a glint in the air would appear and a red knick would appear in the neck of his next victim. He was using his skill and speed for high-speed stabbing of the spine to paralyze and/or assassinate his foes depending on how lucky they happened to be. Numbers did not matter. With his agility, he could evade them and counter attack before they could finish their first strike. That's when he saw Jack. They had met before, years ago before he had his kid. They nearly killed each other fighting over a woman. Argis, after a brutal and bloody draw with jack, was tended to by the woman. Jack's jealousy drove him mad. A week after their duel, he snuck into the lady's chambers and savagely ripped her body apart and defiled the pieces. By the time she was found, he had already set sail. Argis had vowed to join the marines to help fight the evil that would force tragedy upon others. Argis eyed Jack, knowing they would recognize each other at first glance. The air was thick. The hatred was so intense, marines and pirates alike could almost sense their conflict before it even began. The presence of their charisma boiled against each other. They hatred subconsciously fueled their men, giving them the rage to fight to the death. Argis did not hesitate. This instant would not be wasted. He immediately thrusted across three pirates, slitting their throats, aimed at Jack's left hip joint. If he could sever the joint, Jack's leg would be useless as a weapon. Though aware Jack could fight with only one leg, Argis also knew that the advantage it would give him would be detrimental to Jack. If Argis struck true, Jack would lose the battle. But in the back of Argis's head, he wondered. The other pirates had not arrived as far as he knew. If they had met for some reason, this would be the perfect diversion, given the other explosion at the facility. Logically, the only other entrance would be the gate, which would be very neglected at the moment. In the very instant he lunged, Argis threw a paper airplane which would reach Derge in seconds. The message was hasty: "Beware Gate"

Lancelot and Gawain were tag-teaming the pirates. Gawain would make a frontal attack and evade the counter at the last second. This leaves him open for the follow-through, but not before Lancelot would strike in the opening and slice the foe into pieces. They never fought independently. Not since they joined the marines. They were easily the greatest force among the marines at the moment, slaughtering the pirates like insects in a heavy storm.

[Main Gate]
Dagon broke the first hinge. The gate lurched and moaned, creaking through the entirety of the island. Using his claws, dagon climbed onto the door and lunged across, clawing the door, then lurching again, using his claws for grip. Dagon knew the the only reason the gate door hadn't collapsed under its own weight was because the second hinge wasn't holding all of the weight; more than half the weight was on the other door, which was secure. But dagon wasn't in a state to think about these things. He could not focus with the rage. But he could remember the plan. Destroy the hinges. Dagon slipped as he lurched to the hinge, gripping the very end, with no way to regain his grip. He could only hang there. Or destroy the target as intended. In his rage, there was only one course of action. His tail plunged into the hinge's weak point, snapping it. The doors roared as he fell, the suddenly a large boom filled the island as the hinges snapped and doors fell crossways. Perfect. Right where dagon could grab on. The gate halves slammed into the water and sunk, dagon, held tight by the rushing water. But dagon had regained himself. Pressurized water did not affect him like most. Afterall, he was a fishman. As the water calmed, he swam towards the nearest dock, hoping to find another way to take his vengeance on the fools.

[Research Facility]
Mikenlo exerted his darkness for only an instant. But in that instant, the steel bars in front of him crumpled apart. He held tight to his wooden staff. He planned to knock many a head with the mighty weapon. He stared down the hall. He heard scientists debating nonsense. He smiled. He laughed maniacally and loudly. Guards burst through the doors, alerted to his presence.

Jet Form

In the next instant they were barraged with an array if dark grenades, which coupled with the chemicals in the room caused a large explosion, destroying out the infrastructure of the facility, and causing the room to fall apart. He naturally ran past the poor marines, faster than his darkness could move, out the door, escaping to the first half of the facility, with corridors 1, 2, and 3 labelled. The area was far more structurally sound than the other half. Obviously the most dangerous and important experiments must be done in these halls. He wouldn't be able to simply blow the place up. But he may be able to cause some more chaos.

Ikari continued to pilot the ship into the marine base.  Though she had little skill in doing so, at least it wasn't extremely treacherous water.  It was like more training.  She knew how to fix a ship, why not learn how to pilot one as well?  Upon entering the marine base, Ikari would manage to stop the ship with as much grace as a cannonball hitting a wall.  Nearly falling over, Ikari shrugged.  She'd fix that later.  It wasn't like it was one of her own missiles exploding on the ship.  Lowering the anchor and stepping to the side of the ship, Ikari would lower the gangplank to allow herself off of the Demonic Ghost ship.  Looking around, the place was saturated with people.  It didn't seem that anyone that he had travelled with was in fact here.  Ikari gave a small devilish smile as she moved forward into the crowd.  She was on her way to find the crew she travelled with.  Steel Town or something along those lines.  She was more interested in finding Sandy but, in the mean time, she may as well have some culling out some people if they get in her way.  Oh, and declare war on the World Government.  That's an important part to remember.

As Ikari walked closer to the larger conglomeration of people, she would begin to size up the larger and stronger people.  Ikari made no attempt to hide herself while she did this.  In fact, her feet were rather loud on the ground, especially for someone as petite as her.  She stayed to the sidelines of this fight, for the moment.  She didn't want to bother with any small fry marine.  That would just end up boring her and wouldn't exactly set up a good first impression to then saying that she was going to war with the entirety of the World Government.  Such hard decisions to make.  It was during this time that Ikari heard a large explosion, luckily from far away.  She shook her head as she turned back to watch the large scale fight in the Warehouse; "So many explosions today.  It's almost like there's the ultimate treasure here."
Ikari would laugh at her own comment, relaxing a bit as she just enjoys the fighting, though unconsciously keeping her eyes away from Argis and Jack.  The most amusing fight by far was the regenerating man.  May be a good target to start this off.  If Ikari could harm him, or even kill him, the marines would likely be shaking in their little boots.  But that was for later.  For now, gathering information was more crucial.  She didn't want to be caught out due to not knowing enough about her opponents.

As Cole followed Iken and Desais as they all rushed across the top of the wall all he heard where explosions all around him, battles being fought, and scream of what he could only guess where pain or battle cries. He also heard Discord practical jumping with joy singing about the chaos that was already happening without him and murdering the Marines. Cole could only just think to Discord "Shut UP Discord I am trying to Foc." as he was pulled to the ground by Iken as he did he noticed the bullets flying above them and at there feat. He quickly got his mind back into the real world and discord went back inside Cole's mind into the who know what realm of where he stays knowing he might need to concentrate on the battle but still singing his murder song. Cole Quickly Got up and he heard Iken's Command Backing up a little bit knowing he was better far away from the marines hten he would be up close and started his summoning his ribbons to attack farther back marines started to to summon 60 ribbons and each of them wrapping themselves to short swords before Cole sent out 60 Ribbons Blades upwards and down at the marines that were not currently near any of his allies Yelling "Tempered Blades of the Empress, server your master and silence them." As the cam raining down on the marines Hoping to get them wounded the ones that did not hit would be use to start wildly slashing around hoping to hit any marines in his line of view.

Meanwhile in Discord Realm.

Discord was surprised with this move he had remember he had originally turned down using it because he thought it would not be bloody enough but he was starting to second guess himself "No matter," Discord thought "I will have to use this in the future not my style to stay in the back but it may be good to just slice up one foe at a time." He thought as he start to make a way to use this move to his own use for closer range battle. Discord Laughed as he started to use another move Cole had told him the he might liked and getting read some way's to use it in battle.

[Research Facility]

When Kyo heard the newest explosion from the research facility she began to run. There was something definitely wrong this time. Even if one of the subjects were able to cause some damage there were procedures in place that would slow down and stop any further damage from occurring. The fact that the damage was spreading only meant that there was something exceptionally dangerous causing it, something that even the marines' brightest couldn't foresee it. Walking into the facility she covered herself in darkness which caused things around her to lightly tug towards her. A piece of fall debris that would have missed her would have been redirected just enough to graze her. That was if the darkness didn't consume it before it reached her.

She walked through the shuttering lights and partial shadow down the halls. There were people in lab coats running around trying to do their jobs, yelling and screaming at one another. It was chaos, some were trying frantically to leave while others were scrambling trying to contain the fires and damage or rescue their projects. Kyo could let this happen. They weren't allowed to leave. She raised a wall of darkness pulling them and whatever they were carrying in. After a moment of agonizing crushing they vanished into her darkness.

[Levy]

Barton made it to the water and leaned over it, looking into it. He watched the water for any signs of life or movement before he crouched down beside it. Hesitantly he reached his large hand over and tapped the surface of the water creating a pattern of ripples on the water. The man's large hands pounded the water making it seem like someone had just jumped in. The code he was sending was known only by a few in the marines and obviously by its target. All assets were assigned a code however each code was different. Barton waited irritably for the fishman asset to show up; continuously slapping the code into the water.

It was faint at first but still Bruce knew it. He was being summoned with a code that the marines taught him; or rather beat into him. As it continued it became stronger and stronger even if he hadn't been moving towards it he could tell that whoever was sending it was irritated. Something must have happened on the surface. Bruce figured it had something to do with the explosions from earlier. Swimming at top speed Bruce didn't take more than a few minutes to reach the source of the disturbance on the water.

Bruce slowly surfaced with only his head and dorsal fin coming above the water. It was Barton, the large marine that had set Bruce free. There was smoke in the air coming from at least a couple of directions that Bruce wouldn't have noticed from under the water. He could smell it too, now that his head was above the water. "Is there something you need from me, my master?" Bruce said with his gruff voice.

"I need to to track something, a creature that escaped from the facility. Can you do that?" Barton asked knowing full well of Bruce's power of smell.

"I can...but there are a lot of scents coming in from the ocean and the fish that get fried on the gates so I would need something to distinguish between them." Bruce responded.

"Of course you do." Barton said pulling off his mask. The disfiguring acid burns shone brightly in the sun. Reaching inside of the mask Barton pulled out a small piece of bloody cloth, the blood was strangely discolored. "There should be a chemical on this that should be fairly distinctive. It's a type of natural acid." Barton said looking at the fishman with clear disgust.

"Aye...I recognize it in fact. I've been smelling traces of this in the water in my pool for months now." Bruce said. He remembered back to the fishman that had been chained up in that other chamber. It was the one that Bruce had tried to help set free and apparently succeeded. "I think he went towards the gate some time ago." Bruce said swimming along the edge.

[Warehouse]

Derge rolled his eyes at the newest form of Pyro; it made him needlessly aggressive and absent minded. It took the things about Pyro that annoyed Derge and amplified them to a higher degree, even if did give him a boost physically. Derge didn't really see the payoff of the form when it made him so much more aggressive and predicable. Standing in fairly close proximity to Argis, Derge didn't really have much to do as far as fighting went. He casually walked towards the main group of the pirates holding out his hands. "Blood Tsunami” A wall of a water like substance, larger and stronger than what Derge had been using flooded the area where the pirates had been standing knocking back all of the weaker fodder.

"Head of Cthulhu” Tentacles began to form from the blood that made up the tsunami coming up and wrapping themselves around the pirates. From each large tentacle four smaller fingers, like tentacles formed each wrapping around the neck of a pirate. Slowly, Derge began to squeeze the life out of the pirates with 30 regular tentacles and up to 120 twenty smaller ones. The tentacles were so numerous that it seemed to form a forest of strange wiggly blood like constructs. A piece of paper made its way towards Derge only to be stopped by a tentacle. It was opened and moved towards Derge so he could read it. With a glance over towards Argis Derge turned his palm causing the blood to harden to the strength of iron; becoming immobile. Derge began to levitate before flying off into the sky in the direction of the gate.

[East Wall

Iken and his crew made quick work of the small wave of marines. They were most likely stationed at the next two or three stations and came to check on the explosion. This meant there were likely only one or two men still guarding the next two stations down the road. The stations would be easy to take if that held out to be true. Even if it wasn't, all that Iken needed was to obtain on station and the equipment that went along with it at, that point. Originally he wanted to take at least a quarter of the wall to make sure no reinforcements could quickly overwhelm them, however it seemed now that marines had other problems distracting them.

From watching the battles down below, Iken could tell that the other pirate group was headed in the direction of the warehouses as well. He figured they had assumed there was treasure in them instead of just some old quarry rock. If there was going to be any treasure on this island it would likely be locked away in the marines' headquarters. It was something Iken figured he should keep in mind since he was a pirate and all.

Iken sliced an x through the door once he reached the station. He kicked the door causing it to fly into the room in several pieces. The door smashed into the marines aiming their guns towards the doorway waiting to fire upon the pirates as soon as they entered. Stunned by the sudden impact the marines had no time to raise the guns before Iken was on top of them. He sliced their arms with his dual wield practically cutting them off. The marines slinked to the awaiting their deaths. Iken simply walked past them, they were no threat to him.

[The Gate]

Kenju was traveling towards the dock near the front gate when he heard a waning sound and witnessed the gate begin to wobble. He looked up with bewildered eyes as the gate began to fall towards him and the small boat he was using to travel. The gate slammed down creating a small tidal wave that washed away the barracks nearest the edge on both sides of the levy. The shockwave from the heavy steel gate was felt for some ways away. Kenju looked around; he and Captain Razz were standing on a floating roof from one of the buildings that was washed away. The captain must have saved him just before the gate would have crushed him. The two floated towards the gate for a few more moments before Razz carried the both of them to the shore in an instant. Something or someone had not only destroyed the control board for the gate, but they also break down the gate itself.

"We need to move. This area is going to be underwater soon." Razz said running towards the stairs. There was a set of wooden stairs built into the wall that lead up to the station above. The two marines ran up the stairs as an alarm began to sound and red lights flashed. All of the sudden the entire island began to shake as a massive stone wall began to rise. As the gate rose, so did the water behind it causing the whole lower area to flood. The waters rose to just under the height of the walls with in the lower section. A number of underwater mines were released near the entrance of the compound resulting in numerous explosions when the mines came into contact with the remains of the gate.

[Bloody Pirates]

Captain Jack was caught a little by surprise when he saw Argis. He knew in the back of his mind that if he had assaulted a marine base or encountered marine's that he would sooner or later meet his old friend. The hatred within Jack grew with each moment he laid his eyes upon him. He knew he had to kill him before his bloodthirst got any worse. The sudden swift attack wasn't a surprise. If Jack had decided to attack sooner, he would have most likely done the same. With as swift of movements as Argis, Jack unsheathed his sword and blocked the oncoming attack. He didn't parry it though, he wanted a moment with his rival to "chit chat" about the good ole days, so he held his blade there with his block.

"Kiddo move on ahead while the adults talk." Captain Jack stated as he turned to Argis and glared deep into his eyes. "Long time no see eh? Last I recall I was having a nice chat with that woman of yours. Oh I forget her name, but I'm sure you remember that beauty heh." Jack gritted his teeth into a smile that was unmistakable for egging an enemy on. With a swift push back of the blade, Jack pulled a pistol from his side and unleashed the bullets upon Argis. Then he pressed a button on his waist the released blades on the outside that ran up and down his legs. He rushed Argis with his bloodthirst and swung his legs in a furry. Clearly this man had an incredible distaste for the man that betrayed him so many years ago. Jack believed he wouldn't have turned this way if it wasn't for the man standing right in front of him. He could have lived a happy life, instead he lives one with his past haunting him every single day.

Kiddo obeyed his captain and headed deeper into the warehouse. He knew the fight behind him was going to be a bloody one. He had't seen Jack look at someone with those eyes in quite some time. As Kiddo walked further in, he saw Pyro and Derge kill many of their men and then suddenly leave. Hmmm I wonder where they are off to in such a hurry? Kiddo thought as he stood behind a crate peering over to them. He knew not to get into a fight he didn't need to be in. Unless they were in his way, he was going to avoid them. After they had left, Kiddo continued onward, felling many a cannon fodder in his way.

[Steel Village]

Desais noted that this battle was way too easy, but knew they should't mess up this chance by slowing down. As they felled the marines that were in their way, they continued onward to the stations. Desais followed Iken through the door he sliced open at their first station. It was apparent that Iken had this station covered by the way he handled the couple of marines that were in there. "Sir, I'm gonna take this time to take over the next station in our path." Desais said as he speedily flew out of the glass window and onto the next station.

With his soru speed, it didn't take long for him to get there. He decided it was best to enter the same way he exited the other station. "Rifle Torpedo!" Desais cried out as he wings formed together into a point ahead of him allowing him to come crashing through the glass with an attack on the marines. Many of them didn't even see the attack coming and were speared through when it hit them. Those that did noticed it coming shot bullets that just bounced off of the bone. Desais ripped through the place as he wings erupted open and went back to his sides. A large gust of air shot out through the room as he did such, causing marines to fall over. He didn't give them a chance to re-open fire upon him again. With the two bone katanas in his hands and his speed, he rushed the other marines and felled them where they stood. For what Desais could see, the station was clear. He halted any other movement until further orders arrived from Iken. Until then, he would keep the station in their control.

[Warehouse 5]

Argis's blade was stopped in it's tracks. He eyed his opponent carefully, watching his moves to decisively strike him down. Then Jack told his kid to go away. Argis listened, silently and seriously. Then Jack crossed the line. He had insulted the most perfect angel on the planet, dead or alive; his bride to be. "My Lady will finally have her righteous vengeance!"

Argis saw Jack's subtle movements. The turn of the right shoulder downward and the shifting of weight back on his hip gave away his draw. Argis stabbed his sword, angling it where estimated the bullet would strike, using the combination of his intelligence, perception, and skill. The bullet was deflected, but the first move was always a fake. Argis has prepared his counterstrike, but Jack had already begun his. Rather than trade blows, he brace himself and used his attack to parry not Jack with his superior strength, but himself using Jacks strength against him. Argis caught himself, and parried Jack's follow-up; he slashed the chain, and the weight allowed the blade to stick. Then Argis leaned and pushed, using all of his stats save for his charisma to maintain the unrelenting barrage the two swirled in, where Argis would suddenly be at Jack's side preparing a predictable counterstrike, where jack would simply continue the pattern.

Marines and pirates alike were cut down in their wake. At this rate, neither of them would even land a blow. Argis could not accept this. In the instant Jack began his inevitable switch between tactics, Argis would thrust downward at the right hip of Jack the his left hand, while predicting Jack's next move. He predicted Jack would follow up with an attempted parry and a kick. Argis prepared himself to give up the use of his right hand in the battle to stop Jack's blade. Argis decided any other movement would be too hard to predict and focused instead on his reflexes.

[Gate]
Pyro saw Derge fly away and immediately he flew after. He would follow Derge in battle, even over his leader. And if Derge was leaving the battlefield, it was obviously important enough that he might need back-up. Gawain and Lancelot seemed to be handling the pirates well enough by themselves, so he felt his own presence was unnecessary there. About halfway to the gate, he saw it fall. The shockwave hit him mid-air. Derge's levitation would allow him to be unaffected in flight, but not Pyro. Pyro instead used the shockwave as a draft, to lift him higher into the air, and dive down for a faster forward velocity. Simple trick that anyone who had wings for more than a few weeks would know, especially of they had his level of agility. But then the real shockwave hit him. The gate had collapsed. That had to be a bad thing, a very bad thing. He flew next to his partner.

"I don't guess it needs said, but I guess we have to capture or kill whoever did that, right?"

Pyro sighed. He had been having so much fun in the middle of the carnage and now he was stuck playing detective. He had no idea that there were pirates and monsters in the vicinity that may give him the thrill he desired. But he was aware Derge did not like his warlust, so he did not complain. He just followed his friend's lead.

[Docks]
Dagon had been propelled by the shockwave, despite his skill. He had not been harmed, but he crashed hard into a hard substance, which he recognized as kairoseki. Any sea creature could detect the stone on contact; after-all, it felt like the sea to them. Anything in the sea that didn't look or feel different and had physical substance like that could only be kairoseki. He swam upward and realized he had found a marine ship. He smiled. Ir had been prepared for battle. Likely as a secondary tactic. Distract the enemy, then send a few men to seemingly retreat, who were actually fetching the flank. But little did they know that Dagon would escape today of all days. He pulled himself up via the anchor onto the ship, and untethered the steel wire attached to the reverse pulley. The marines had very advanced technology for the time. The anchor automatically retracted to the ship.

Dagon knew the model and controls. He had read them while still in slavery. He went to the control booth. 87% of functions could be controlled from there. But he required energy. He caught a lift on the giant dumbwaiter which was large enough for three normal men. Big ship, big loads to haul. He set up a quick pulley system using hooks and wire in the engine room; then he did a quick amateur welding job with some sheets of scrap metal and a bunch of wheel barrows. Suddenly a steady flow of coal was going into the engine. He climbed up the pulley on the dumb waiter and started the ship.

[Research Facility]
Mikenlo passed the corner only to see some mimic using his power to crush an area. That's when he realized it wasn't darkness. No, it was more fake darkness, a shadow of darkness. It had no "substance" and was more like fragments of darkness compressed into a more versatile, less powerful form. This must had been the power that
Erebus had informed him of. But Erebus hadn't been any help. He left Mikenlo all the grunt work finding her. But Mikenlo had found her afterall. And he smiled widely.

Jet form

Mikenlo soru slided behind kyo, staff in hand. Then, he smiled.

Artillery Form

Mikenlo wrapped his tangible darkness around his staff, which had already been raised above her head. He swung down with all of his immense strength, as if swinging a steel club with the strength of a monster (100%). But he didn't intend to actually her. No. If he did hit her, he would stop with just a loud painful thonk, just to scare her. He wagered she never had anything to fear since she found her frail imitation of his Darkness. But his darkness would not be stopped by mere flimsy vapors like hers. He wanted her to experience fear... despair... and agony.

Ikari stood at her spot, slightly dumbfounded by just how quick the marines are tearing through the pirates.  It reminded of her when she was just a child.  Pirates stepping up to the village.  A sail soaked red.  A jolly roger dripping with blood.  The screaming.  Ikari clenched her teeth and punched the closest pirate in the back of the head.  It's their fault that she's like this.  It wasn't just the marines that were the problem.  Pirates are also part of the problem.  Opposite problems but still a problem.  One creates chaos and destruction wherever they walk.  The other brings regulations and oppression.  The only happy medium are those that don't involve themselves.  A small fire lit in Ikari's eye as she watched pirates being destroyed by a tides of blood. The tides broke off and turned into some odd blood forest.  Watching them turn solid quickly, Ikari shook her head.

This was not the time to have such thoughts.  What was required of her now was to find the Iron City or Dante.  Or whatever their name was.  Ikari hadn't been introduced to them, all she knew was that they were here.  She also didn't know the plan, or if there was even a plan.  Given that it took Sandy a long time just to break her out of prison, they likely had a plan.  Ikari shook her head and began to fall back to the wall that she came from.  She knew that whomever she was going to find would be atop the wall.  I guess it was lucky that she had at least witnessed them all leaving her behind.  Ikari crouched down and quickly pushed herself off, beginning to sprint at her okay speed.  She needed to find out someone on her side to learn of at least some little plan.

Cole was glad the marines they had faced went down so quickly he knew if the battle had gone on for to long he would have most likely have had to let discord have his fun but, much to his pleaser and Discord's displeasure he did not he thought as he made the ribbons he had used turn to normal and detached since they were no use to him now. Discord not being happy did not make Cole glad but it did not make him sad in any way shape or form, he knew Discord love of fighting and murder so witch in it own way was effective but he did not want to die until he had lived his life.... or to protect someone dear to him. Cole shook his head vigorously to get those thought of death out of his head as he had to focus on what was happening right now as he saw Iken quickly disarmed his opponent in both their weapons and there arm the marines and watch Deasias fly off to the next tower as he followed Iken knowing he would never be able to keep up with Deasis with his wings active and rather saying with his captain to learn from him since he need to get more knowledge of his sword fighting style as it could come in handy when he used his ribbon like swords. Cole did not even flinch at the dying bodies of the marines all around the entrance for all he cared they could rot in a hole he knew as he got older the not all marines were bad but for these he did not care they where in the way of his captain and one of the things his mother drilled into head since he was ten was to follow orders of the people the leed you if you trust them and right now cole trusted Iken he had shown no reason not to and even still trusted him after Cole told him about Discord. As he fallowed iken all he knew was that they where going to be stronger all of them if they survive this and who know they might even make some friend "or enemies" Discord added in mentally through their mental link only to be ignored by Cole.

As Dante flew across the top of the wall he saw waves of marines moving across for odd reasons relating to an explosion. Looking to his right Dante noticed his ship sailing in the ocean. It seemed like one of the crewmates was awake, or at the very least one of them. He almost felt guilty that he left said person behind, he'll have to go and grab that person after this part of the assignment is done.. or if they end up in eminent danger.

Dante then looked ahead and noticed the marines coming his way. He immediately summoned ten sand tantacles that grabbed marine after marine and threw them off the ledge. If they tried to attack Dante would just deflect it with his superior sand grapple speed and iron sand then grab the same person and throw them off or just have spikes appear from the sand burial to kill the person and drop their bodies in the waters bellow. It truly looked like a massacre since every moment that marines ran towards Dante he'd stop for a moment, grab ten marines and throw them to the ground bellow and to their deaths. He did this while flying in the air.

He then quickly fired sand bullets from his hand, thinking the sand grapple wasn't going fast enough, and shot the marines close to him in the face; this killed them instantly. After using his hands as modern day pistols he walked forward, shooting others in the face as he passed along. He didn't want to rush to his death, so whatever marines walked towards him for the same greeting. He was NOT about to let these corrupted fools touch him.

[Research Facility - Inside]

"What the hell were they doing to..." was all that Kyo had been able to say before the strange nude man began to walk towards her.  She had just gotten a glimpse of the old man right before he raised his hand to her.  Almost instinctively she just stood there waiting for the darkness to take care of the problem for her.  She heard a loud whack sound and then she felt it again.  It was something she hadn't felt in a long time; pain.  It wasn't a particularly powerful strike but the pain was immense; it stung like she had been beaten with an inch of her life.  She had been protected by her powers for so long that she forgot what pain felt like and with no recent memory of what pain was like; it was almost as if she had never felt pain before like a new born babe getting a cut for the first time.

Kyo jumped back while glaring at Mikenlo with a deep hatred in her eyes.  Blood from the place he had struck her at began to trickle down her forehead before stopping in her thin eyebrows.  She shook her head and wiped away the blood.  Kyo started at the smug of blood on the back of her hand, the reality that it was hers was starting to set in.  The young woman wasn't sure what to feel.  Was it hate or fear that she was feeling, maybe something more akin to a twisted form of admiration?  Whatever the case was she had to kill him and if for nothing else for slighting her.  She threw he hand forward towards his expecting a wave of darkness to come out and engulf her foe.  Nothing happened, not so much as a ounce of darkness was brought fourth.

"What did you do to me?" she asked frantically.  She looked at his weapon, it didn't appear to be kairoseki and even if it had it would have only worked if it had been touching her before her powers were activated which it wasn't.  Secondly it would only cancel out her powers for as long as it was touching her which again it wasn't.  There was something else going on, a devil fruit of some kind that negated her powers.  She didn't understand how that could be possible.   "Your darkness is more powerful than mine.  I don't understand why I can't use my powers but you're doing this somehow.  I...I...can't go through this again." she said pulling out a pistol.  Kyo placed the barrel to her head with her right hand.  Her face was a ghostly pale but her expression was mute with no sign of emotion.  A click could be heard followed by a light thud.  A small plastic looking red stick rolled to a stop at Mikenlo's feet.

[Gate - East Wall]

As Dante tore through wave after wave of marines he eventually made his way to the northern end of the compound.  He was quickly closing in on where the gate used to be, the entire lower section of the compound had flooded it; turning it into a man-made lake in the middle of the ocean.  A lone marine stood a ways of in the distance with a gun pointed towards Dante.  It was just a typical pistol with gold engraving on it.  Most pirates wouldn't even flinch with the amount of distance in between them.  A pop or maybe a distance bang echoed in the area when the gun went off.  The marine’s shot was on point, even from a distance.  If Dante didn't move the bullet would hit him directly in the head.  Normally the skill bonus with the damage of the gun would mean Dante would be hit with a base damage of 10.8 which would be reduced to 2 due to his endurance and then raised to 6 for a critical hit.

While Dante was being distracted by the marine with the gun a figure was swimming under the debris filled water.  Razz had been informed of Dante's movements by a frantic report from one of the stations Dante was attacking.  The marine captain figured Dante was heading towards the gate for some unknown reason.  Razz had no idea what the sand man was up to but he took some satisfaction in knowing he was going to be the one to kill both brothers.  Knowing full well just how powerful Dante was he devised the plan that was set into motion by Kenju firing his gun from a distance of over 50 meters away.  Hearing the muffled sounds of the shot Razz swam towards the surface coming up behind Dante.  Taking a pair of kairoseki shackled he attempted to lock it onto Dante's leg from in the water below.

[East Wall]

Iken watched Desais fly off to unnecessarily take more guard stations than what was needed.  He was moving so fact that Iken didn't have time to order him to stop little lone stop him.  Iken slammed his fist down onto a control board used to communicate with other marines.  It was an advanced den den mushi set-up, more technical than anything Iken had ever seen before.  Gritting his teeth, Iken picked up the receiver and raised it up to his mouth.  "Angel of Death come in.  Angle of Death this is Steel Sword...come in!  Damn it all, Angel of Death proceed to the next phase of the plan!" Iken ordered into the communications system.  He hoped that Desais would hear him at the station he was in and know what to do.

"Damn it!  Cole we're moving on without him." Iken said running towards the edge of the wall.  Lifting his feet over the railing Iken pushed himself off of the wall.  He began falling downwards skimming closely against the stone wall.  When Iken had fallen a ways down he drove his sword into the wall to slow his decent; he came to a complete stop a few feet from the ground.  Iken looked back up and motioned for Cole to follow him.  He turned a moment later to head towards the warehouses.  Iken intended to cripple the marine base in one fell swoop by pitting them again the people behind the scenes.

[Gate - Marine Ship]

Pyro followed Derge away from the battle towards the front of the compound.  He felt a burst of possessive energy run through him, it was something he could or would ever explain.  Derge slowed down so Pyro could keep up; floating next to his bird-man comrade.  "Argis ordered me to go to the gate.." said Derge before he was interrupted.  A shock-wave ripped through the area causing Derge to be pushed backwards.  It stung, it was as if the wind had formed a giant hand and backhanded him.  He watched in horror as the barracks was flooded as soon as the wall was raised.  There were debris from the cheap buildings floating all over the place.  The gate had fallen and the lower section had been completely devastated by the marines' security system.  Whoever had opened the gate would be gone, most likely swept away by the powerful flood waters.  Even if the person or persons responsible were still in the control area it wasn't like Pyro and Derge could go under the water to capture them.  Derge looked to Pyro when he spoke.  "Fuck!  How though?  It's not like we know who did it or even where the hell they are.  Even if we did know it, it's not like we can go under the water to get them.  Damn it...  Regroup on that ship down there." Derge said motioning to what appeared to be a marine steam powered ship below.

[Research Facility - Outside]

Ivan and Bigie were thrown back by an explosion from the facility they had been hiding behind.  The two pirates regained their bearings just in time to see a young redheaded woman enter the facility.  As they took the time to recover the sounds of terror and battle began to come from the facility.  Taking sounds of evil as a cue to leave the two made their way towards the headquarters.  With all of the panic and confusion they were able to blend in without much effort as most of the marines were running around trying to do their part.  With their den den mush attuned so they could hear the marines' broadcasts they bided their time waiting for a mention of the Steel Village.

"That's it!  That's him!" Ivan said pointing at the device.

"What ya talk'in about?" Bigie asked.

"That broadcast about the angel of death, that was Iken's voice." he responded.

"Where the hell was that signal coming from?!" Bigie yelled into his mushi.

"Somewhere on the east wall boss." answered one of Bigie's men.

[Bloody Pirates]

Their battle was intense. It seemed neither one would give up in their fight to annihilate the other. Jack knew this was the case and he also knew that giving up would mean all those years wasted. He was prepared for one final fight with Argis, even if it meant his own demise. Should I be doing that soon? Nay not quite yet. This fight has only begun. Jack thought to himself as he kept up his leg attacks. His endurance enabled him to attack effortlessly for quite awhile. Though he knew his strength was more so his advantage in this fight. If he could just get Argis in a position that would enable him to use his full strength, then that would be beneficial to him. Jack saw a moment that he couldn't let slip by and parried Argis attack with his left leg while swinging his right leg around and sending it crashing down from above. Surely this attack would do some damage to Argis, and that was all Jack wanted.

Meanwhile, Kiddo continued onward into the warehouse. He figured he'd be seeing some interesting treasure soon, or at least something to bring back to his captain. Though he wasn't sure what he was looking for. Just anything shiny that looked like it'd bring a pretty belli. Man, this is getting rather boring. None of these marines are even putting up a fight worth doing. Kiddo thought as he knocked another one out with a spinning kick to the head. His hands haven't even came out of his swimming trunks as he carried on through.

[Steel Village]

Desais began feeling slightly weak as resistance to using the gear began to come to a close. He jumped as he turned around to the communications system erupting into a loud yell. Something must have happened or is about to happen at the other tower. Desais thought as he went to the window he flew in from and jumped out. He continued on the course they had set out in at Soru speeds. He kept taking out the outposts along the way, so as to not waste his gear. He knew this most likely will attract a lot of attention but if it meant keeping the enemies away from Iken, then he would gladly do it.

After the second outpost he went to, the communications seemed to get a bit louder. He remembered back to the two explosions he had seen when they first got on top of the wall. The marines were having a bit of trouble from somewhere. Maybe it was Dante, after all he could take out quite a bit of enemies on his own. It could even be whoever else is on this island. Desais wasn't entirely sure as he knew he couldn't waste time listening to the communications. He continued onward to his destination.

[Warehouse 5]
Jack had done exactly as Argis predicted. Without hesitation, Argis made a subtle and quick switch between the hands, leaving the sword in his left. Then he smashed the back of his hand into the chain, breaking it, then twisted his arm around Jack's leg and grasped it for just an instant and redirect the kick with a strong deflecting blow. Using his skill, agility, speed, strength, and intelligence, he had redistributed Jack's weight just past argis as he slid to the side for what seemed to be the same strategy as before on the opposite side. But this similarity was but a rouse. He he in fact rose his blade and made a piercing thrust toward the hip of jack, that could not be seen through the shadow of jack's own leg and the concrete beneath him unless observed by someone with at least 60% perception, as it reflected the shadow and blended into the environment as planned by Argis. It was almost a guaranteed hit, which could disable his foe. But that would be luck. Most likely, jack would notice it right as it struck and would turn his body reflexively, instead only making it difficult to use one of his legs. But that would be enough for Argis. With his style of fighting, he only needed one arm. But it's much harder to kick with only one good leg.

[Marine Battleship]
Dagon had just gotten turned from the docks, and was heading towards the gate to loop back the HQ quarters when two flying marines landed on the deck of the ship. Quickly he locked the wheel to steady the ship. He walked slowly to the corner. The wall was low quality steel. His steel claws would be able to hold him up for a while. A perfect hiding place. The two appeared to be one normal-looking man that was somehow flying, and another one with foaming wings. Probably devil fruit users, or government experiments... Or both. He figured his best chance at victory would be to ambush them to incapacitate one of them, and then the other. But he'd have to be careful. He crawled up into the ceiling corner, blending into the shadows.

Pyro had of course followed Derge's command and dived towards the ship, glided at the bottom, flung upward, flipped, and then dropped to the ground, catching himself with ease. He knew Derge would be right behind him. He hadn't the agility to dive like that, and it would take him longer to use his gear than it would have taken time for pyro to land. Pyro knew derge would likely float down casually. Pyro looked around. The running ship had no crew. This was Argis's ship. Pyro and Derge's ship, their pseudo-temporary home. But it was moving. This wasn't right.

"Derge, isn't something off to you?"

Pyro considered these factors for a long time, not fully grasping what they really came to in the end, but he could still tell something was off. Derge would be able to make it clear most likely. Pyro grabbed his rapier and drew it. Better now than never. Maybe he could stab something.

[Research Facility]
Mikenlo was not surprised in the slightest. His devil fruit took his senses, but gave him a powerful super-sensory ability that gave him full "vision" of the acting forces. The woman had exactly the reaction he desired at first, except that she suddenly started looking like a lost puppy for a second. Strange. It made him cackle loudly, like a loud vulture shooting an old rusty uzi. Then she dropped the dynamite. Mikenlo perceived it in her hand the moment she decided to do it, as she had grabbed it in the same moment. He didn't even hesitate. Once again, the darkness engulfed him for an instant, and he slammed his hands into the floor.

Artillery Form

Crushing through the stone, reinforced by various alloys and polymers was child's play in this form. And that's when he shaped his Darkness, filling the cracks and forming a giant black wall in front of him, right in front of the dynamite, which had rolled back towards kyōkihime from the shifting weight of the building under the strength of Mikenlo ravaging the reinforcements in the foundation. When the stick exploded it didn't make a dent in the thick steel. Dynamite was only strong enough harm stone. Small shrapnel could be seen fastened into the outer shell of the wall, from the dents the small pieces placed. The smoke made it hard to breath and he didn't like it. So he screeched a loud, banshee wail, reminiscent of a bat, lion, goat, tortured old man, and a wolf's howl. He placed his bare naked foot on the Darkness and slammed his bare butt onto the Darkness. A long loud pistol-fire-like sound with a low, thundering bellow could be heard as lumps of floating Darkness came out of the man's anus through the smoke and the steel-like Darkness, dissipating the plume. With a clear view of his naked form, Mikenlo licked his index finger, and tapped the top of his but while sticking out his tongue. Then he grabbed his stick and with another loud wail slammed it into the floor, but this time it made but a loud echo. At first glance anyway. But in fact, mikenlo was channeling his Darkness through his staff, and spreading it across the ground towards his young, ripe opponent.

As Cole was looking around waiting for Iken next order he saw all of the advanced den den mushi set-up. It boggled Cole's Mind as he look at how advanced it was from the ones he saw in the past and of his very own he had when he was a child. But that did not matter now as Cole heard Iken smash his fist down on a object. Cole was unsure of what it was but he quickly refocused himself to what Iken was say into on of the den-den mushi as he started to yell for what he assumed to be Desais to get his message to continue on to phase 2 of the plan he knew nothing about. But when Cole heard Iken's order to leave Desais behind he was a little unsure what to do he thought of Desais as a friend since they had well he thought of as bonded but he was unsure of what to do since he was currently mia and Iken told him to leave him behind and he was his captain but that thought alone did not help easy Coles worries so he decided to go and ask Iken. As Cole was about to express his thoughts to Iken he saw him push himself off of the wall worried at first he looked over the edge Iken was using his sword to slow his descent and Cole knew he had to get down there to follow him and not get let behind in the dust. Cole quickly summon up some ribbons as he use the Strength's Arm of Light to create 3 of the tendril like arms on his back he quickly used them descend the wall each tendril piercing the the wall with it's max sharpened and steel hardened claws. When Cole reached the bottom he used them to land right where Iken was but as Cole was about to detach the tendrils he decided to keep them out as they might be useful later and Cole just liked have them out they were freaking awesome. Cole knew he had to ask his question now before they had to run of and do the next stage of the plan that he had did not know. Cole spoke in a hushed and timed voice that was load enough to hear for iken to noticed him, "ummm Iken I am just wounder what the next stage of the plan and if leaving Desais behind is the best idea i know he is pretty strong but i am a little worried for him. I am just wondering please do not be mad at me." He added quickly to the end as he was scared not of his captain but of what may come of they way he said it.

Dante suddenly, while defeating the marines in front of him, moved his head and had a bullet move right past him and hit the wall behind him. He then knew from the trajectory the area the marine was located. At first the logia user assumed someone had tried to snipe him, but even the impact of it, without Dante being a logia, didn't seem like something that would have killed the average person. That's when Dante sensed something from the water. Before the marine had even risen from the water Dante had already transformed into a sand-like demon. When he rose up at his speed to attach it to Dante's leg it instantly separated, and the rest of his body flew into the air at soru speed.

Dante levitated for a moment, before looking down at the marine.

"That was a very nice attempt, but surprises don't usually work on me; as you've found out." Dante said, boldly. His form now looked like sand, with horns sticking out of his head. That's when he morphed his arm into a chainsaw. The blades started to rapidly spin in opposite directions, tearing some of the steel hard sand out of it along with sparks. Without warning Dante then used his soru-like technique towards the marine. He quickly used his soru speed to slice downwards, attempting to slice the man vertically, then dashed towards him again to swing his arm to the side; he then ended it by attempting to kick the opponent with his leg to the chest.

[Research Facility]

The crazy old man's defense was far too great for the young red head working for the world government. She had no defense or course of action that would result in her life being spared. Nothing she ran through her head would even come close to working; she barely even had it together enough to try and throw the bomb at him, which only backfired. The stick of TNT literally rolled back and blew up right where she was standing. Kyo had expected to take some damage from the plan but she didn't expect it to blow up in her face little lone her foe escaping it without a scratch on him.

Kyo smirked as she raised her pistol and fired the single round she had loaded. Knowing full well that the shot wouldn't do a damned bit of good she next lobbed the pistol itself at him. Slowly her grin spread to a wide smile as she watched the man wrapped in darkness. The man in front of her was bat shit crazy; worse off than even she was by quite a bit. Kyo couldn't help but feeling like it wasn't the man but the darkness that was causing this. It was like it was a poison slowly eroding him away to only leave behind the powerful darkness. Was this really the tradeoff for power? Kyōkihime closed her eyes before starting to chuckle and eventually laugh at the whole situation. She knelt down before getting into a sitting position with her legs resting under her bottom and her hands resting, gripped to her knees. All the while Kyo was laughing: laughing at the man, the world, and even her own fate. Mikenlo, the man before her was losing himself; and for what, the power? The world was screwed; it was destined to suffer so long as a man like this was in it. Finally her own fate, all of the hardships she had been exposed to even though she was born a prodigy; frankly it was ridiculous.

"I happily accept my fate. You're a cancer to this world as much as your power is a cancer to you, slowly both will cause the other to erode until only darkness is left. With the knowledge that someone like you is alive to cause this world as much pain and suffering as possible I can die in peace." she said trying not to breakout in fanatical laughter. "You know. I always thought that the old myth that those with the will of D tended to die in battle with a smile one their face was terrifying. It turns out I'm not different from those I heard about in my bedtime stories from when I was a little girl." she said with a large cheesy grin on her face.

[Marine Battleship]

Derge landed next to Pyro moments after the fellow marine had. The blood user didn't have to rely on things like air currents or the flexibility of a pair of wings to allow him the ability of flight. He merely pulled on the blood inside or around his body with his powers to allow him to levitate. While this provided Derge with arguably a more versatile flight ability, it also takes away a chunk of his concentration; easily leaving him more open to attack. Realistically the only ones that would notice such were Derge himself and possibly a few higher up marine analysts.

Looking around Derge noticed that the ship was indeed the one they had traveled to the base on. In the sky Derge hadn't even noticed it but now there were actually on it, it was obvious. Why in the world was Argis' ship out this far and furthermore who was running it? Almost immediately Derge's suspicion went on to those that run the base, especially with so much being so fishy. Derge couldn't fathom why they would steal or move the ship unless the whole situation was some elaborate trap, in which they could have easily killed off the crew several times over. It wasn't adding up, nothing about this base seemed to.

All of the sudden Derge heard something from the side of the ship. A rope ladder was rustling and the wood it was connected to was creaking. It sounded like someone was climbing onto the ship from below. Derge readied for an attack by forming a shell of blood around him. An old man's head popped over the side of the rail. He was a large man in a marine uniform, a captain's uniform at that. The description was fairly similar to the man named Barton that they were told of with the only difference being his mask was gone. Looking at the man Derge could see why he chose to wear a burlap sack over his head.

Circling below the ship in the water was a fishman. The only part of the fishman that was visible from outside the reflective water was his dorsal fin. It was sticking out of the water several inches, a warning sign to any land born animal to stay out of his territory. Bruce had been ordered to patrol around the ship in case the asset tried to escape into the water. If that were to happen, Bruce was to attack and kill. There were to be no questions or second thoughts, the other asset was too strong to hesitate, or at least that's what Barton told him at least.

[East Wall]

Razz had missed his chance to remove Dante's powers from the equation. Even with his speed Dante had reacted with enough to time detach his leg in his intangible form. This made shackling the demonic looking pirate impossible. From the information they had on Dante this transformation allowed him full time intangibility as well as speed rivaling soru. Razz knew full well he couldn't beat Dante while he was in that form and that there was only one course of action. As Razz fell back down towards the water, he kicked off the edge of the wall and dove backwards into the water. Diving deep into the debris filled water, the captain looked up to see a soggy sand chainsaw driven into the water where he had fallen into. Using a piece of debris, Razz kicked off of it trying to use his soru technique to get away. While the technique did propel Razz away, it wasn't nearly as effective as it was regularly.

Two more bullets whizzed towards the demonic Dante, this time aimed for where he was when he attempted to attack Razz. Of course if Dante moved after the failed attempt the shots would have missed. After the sound of the guns going off, Dante would have heard a splash of water from the marine sniper leaping in. The water was murky from the debris and reflected the light making all but impossible for anyone outside of it to see into it. Apparently with Dante's level of power he could have the run of the marine base without having to worry about marines actually being a threat.

[Warehouse]

Iken and Cole walked into one of the warehouses where the stone was being stored. The warehouses looked big from outside, but you didn't really get the full effect of just how much cut stone was being stockpiled in the warehouses until you went into one. There were hundreds of tons of rock in just one building and there were several miles with several more building just like the one they were standing in. The prospect of actually making a dent in the supply without some kind of bomb was more than just daunting it seemed logically impossible. Iken hadn't really given much thought to that fact that the marines had probably had the operation going for a really long time, decades; maybe even a hundred years. Iken stood in the doorway gawking at the titanic amount of stone when Cole interrupted.

"He acted too fast, and without thinking or getting an order. With how the situation is going we don't have time to stand around and hold everyone's hand. While I wouldn't leave someone behind, we are pirates and that comes with a bit of inherit risk. All of the members of my crew are as free as they can be anywhere else in the world, so as long as nothing bad comes out of it; I don't really care what my crew does. Desais is my first mate for a reason and he above all others can take care of himself. Now place your personal feelings aside and help me take down this building." Iken said walking towards one of the supports.

[Bloody Pirates]

Jack realized all too late that his attack or better yet, defense, against Argis was a fatal flaw. As soon as he saw Argis begin to move, he knew he was done for. The attack that Argis did on Jack was so precise and quick that there wasn't much else he could do to prevent it. Luckily enough for him, it wasn't the end of the fight. He felt the sudden attack to his hip and prevented it from doing any worse damage than it had already done so. Jack made certain to not pass up his chance to disable Argis's arm with a stab severing the muscle that allowed it to move. After Argis's attack, Jack fell to the ground. The blood flowed freely from his hip as he couldn't feel his right leg anymore. "Bold....urgh!...move there Argis. Heh..." Jack said as the pain went through his body. His eyes glared at Argis with pain and hatred. This hatred seemed to have bested Jack.

"Well it looks like......*coughs blood* there isn't much else I'll be doing now without the use of my other leg." Jack said as he breathed heavily. He then got back up and started to hop on his left leg, only to drop back down onto the ground. The pain was excruciating and Jack was fed up with it. He knelt there looking down at the watch just like he had done so many times before. "Well, I believe this is going to be the end for me, now isn't it?" He smiled a villainous grin as he looked at Argis. "As long as I wounded you as well, that's all that matters to be." He said as he slammed his fist into his chest initiating a ticking noise. "Well, I'll see you in hell Argis!" screamed Jack as he lifted his arms and laughed loudly into the sky. The next moment, an explosion occurred causing Jack to fly everywhere into pieces, then the pieces began to explode causing nearby items and people to go along with it. Jack had hoped before going, that his old rival Argis would get blown up with him as well.

Kiddo heard the explosion and knew that Jack was gone. He was a bit relieved and also a bit sad. Those years of being under service with the crazy bastard was over now. Although, through the pain and suffering, he was already a changed man thanks to Jack. Not in the good way either. This he couldn't undo. All he could do now was continue with what he was going to do and now be in command of the Bloody Pirates. "You crazy old bastard, well can't say that I'll miss you." He laughed as he finally made his way to the item he was looking for. A magnificent stone that he hadn't laid his eyes on before stood before him. It was the prize of kings, and he finally was going to be taking it for himself. Then he heard a noise and hid behind a post. Iken and Cole walked in unexpectedly just as Kiddo was going to plunder his loot. Great, just when I thought things were going to work out for me. They don't look like marines though. They must be another pirate crew... Kiddo thought as he glanced over at them.

[Steel Village]

Desais was flying at soru speeds to the warehouse. Hopefully no one else noticed him as he flew over head of the marine base in the direction he needed to. He saw the battle unfolding down below him. Many bodies laid lifeless on the ground below both marine and pirate alike. Clearly this battle was ending with a high body count. It all didn't matter to Desais, so long as Iken and their crew made it out alive. Desais finally made it to the warhouse as a large explosion occurred. Desais landed on the ground on the other side of the warehouse just as it happened. Just in time to, he got a bit exhausted from his gear form and his wings disappeared. Lucky for him, he landed where there wasn't any marines or pirates. Well at least for the time being, surely there was going to be more heading their way.

Desais leaned up against a way trying to catch his breath. Then he headed into the warehouse from the back side. He first looked around trying to find Iken, all the while being careful as to not get caught by other people along the way. The place was huge, it was clear they had a lot of valuable stuff within it. Many different crates laid all around the ground. Not small ones at that, large ones in fact with no doubt riches within. Desais was tempted to look into a few, but turned down that idea. He had to catch up with his captain as soon as possible. That way he could help to get what they came here for and get out of this war zone.

[warehouse]

Jack has realized his mistake as Arhis knew he would and though corrected too late, it did not kill him. Argis fell back and realized his already shredded arm had been stabbed right through the elbow. It wasn't just damage like the rest of his arm, shredded from the breaking chain and broken from striking it. It had been an open shot to bait jack and it worked. The nerves were severed, as was tendon, ligament, and muscle. The damage would be permanent unless he could regenerate.

"My lady has been avenged. I pity you Jack. I wish it didn't come to this."

Immediately his thoughts turned to Pyro. Argis realized that he had been focusing too much on his enemy, the gate had fallen, and the facility was in shambles. The base itself was mostly fine, but it was also missing some wall. He had to secure the warehouses, but he needed to find pyro and derge, and get their help as well as help them. As expected, gawain and lancelot were handling the nameless pirates well. At the very least, that crew of pirates were going to die off if it kept up. He had no reason to protect them, but plenty to help Derge and Pyro. They were further away and had no guarantee of safety. Argis jumped into the water without hesitation, pulling his mangles bleeding arm behind him. The salt would help him bleeding out and from there he could swim and find pyro and derge. The best way to find them would be to bring them to him. So he set of swimming for his ship, which he could see had moves almost a mile since anchored, and it was still moving slowly. Lunging for his friends he missed the explosion, though he heard it from beneath the water in his dive.

[research facility]

Mikenlo stopped grinning. He walked slowly towards he crouched. Then he slapped her into the wall. Mikenlo no longer had his strength boost so it was hardly powerful, but it would cause more pain certainly. He stood and looked at her.

"You misunderstand. Your death has never been my desire. My desire is that you experience true pain to the fullest extent. My goal is not the suffering of the world, but its salvation. You see, Darkness has revealed the truth to me, the path to true equality, peace, and utopia. People have become evil and noble for all the wrong reasons, vain reasons leaving them unworthy, incompetent, and unable to lead the world. Only by one severing themselves from society, abandoning morality, and eliminating empathy at its source can any sentient being exist. The animals feel this way. They care not for others and do what they wish without morality, social procedure, or any sort of empathy. This path leads to pure evil and pure chaos. Only through true pain can one see this revelation for themselves. I will bring true pain to every being on the world and recreate the natural order of power, where only power and prize matter. I must lead everyone to this ragnarok to revive the mighty realm of Erebus on the planet beneath us, and bring true darkness, bring the truth of existence to every vacant husk inside my prey and my followers. Everyone must bind themselves to darkness. This has been and will continue to be my existence. This is the only way to give them Utopia. Now back to the matter at hand... Oh yes. I was just about to torture you..."

Artillery Form

Mikenlo made chains from his darkness and bound her wrists, ankles, and neck to them tightly, to the point of almost crushing the appendages, and then tightening the chains and sealing them into the floor and ceiling, holding her unable to move in any direction, except maybe some limited abdominal, elbow, or knee movement. The chains would be painfully tight, feeling like they were pulling the bones out of place without ever actually doing so.

"I'm going to have fun with you" Mikenlo laughed maniacally.

[Argis's Ship]
Dagon had not accounted for pursuit, but it was too late for that. It was time to fight. It was time to attack until, dead, captured, or free. But first he'd have to wait. For someone to step through the door. It seemed like it would never happen. He heard some of the marines talking but he couldn't understand them. They were too far away. The door opened and Dagon pounced, stabbing and unsuspecting Pyro through the stomach. In his rage Dagon lost control altogether and discarded his strategy. He threw Pyro through the window and jumped out onto the deck.

"You... I'll kill you!"

Harden

Eyes blood red, Dagon charged the man named Barton. He had hardened his shell to somewhere between steel and iron in strength. His exoskeleton was now a barrier from most swords and bullets. This was almost identical to the last time they had battled. Distracted by fellow marines, Dagon made his attack and charged before Barton realized fully what was happening. But this time Barton was armed and prepared for battle. Though the defense and surprise effect would likely result in barton's injury, Dagon would not be defeating him like before. His primal instinct was to survive. He could see the water while falling. Fishman know the water. They instinctively understand it unlike humans. They don't see the same distortion humans do. They can see slightly more clearly in the water. Plus he had his exoskeletal detection. He recognized the fishman from before. He would be his foe in the water. But one foe in the water was better than the many above. Instinct driven, he would try to trample over barton and dive deep into the water.

Pyro was surprised by the man, but not very. Everything was weird, this wasn't any different. But he didn't wait for an explanation. He just left.

"I'm searching the cabins and pit"

And he shut the door behind him. He was angry. There was something on the ship to hunt and it was obvious the marines had come to steal his kill. He guessed the cock pit would be the best room to check. The cockpit on a ship was large, and had a lot of places to hide. But as large as the room was, the ceiling corner seemed the last place to check. Suddenly he was pierced from behind by an incredible force. He felt full and then felt like he was being drained. Then suddenly more cuts and breaks came all over his body. He had been thrown through the window and onto the deck. He was able to land without damage, but  creature has already hurt him. Suddenly he was dizzy and felt heavy. The floor he had just been launched through collapsed on top of him. They had one part of the floor they needed repairs on the ship for, and he had just been launched into that weak spot. But he didn't know that as he almost lost consciousness. He was already healing himself. He knew he'd be fine. He had the phoenix. He had changed into his hybrid form to land, and that accelerated his healing.

Once Cole had heard what his captain said he understood completely what and why they had to leave Desais behind it did not help that fact that he still wanted to go back and try and find his friend but he trust Iken's knowledge of Desais as he had known him for longer and after Cole had heard he was his first mate made his decision all the more clearer, for now he would stick to the orders Iken have given even if it never sat right with him to leave a crew mate behind. It also help that he remembered walking past all of the dead marines and other pirates in there walk to get here.... well for Cole it was more like tendril travel as he use his tendrils in order to hover over the bodies as his tendrils did all of the walking over all off the dead bodies crushing not wanting to step on any of them and wanting to finish getting use to this ability he had made up so recently he was glad he was now going to be able to use its more destructive capabilities mentally hearing Discord popping his own brand of food memories to and reclining into his chair to watch the show of destruction. But the popping stop everything stop when he saw how much he had seen of the stone that had been mined from the slave camp. The sheer amount of it made both Cole and Discord realised how long that place had been open for and it made them both incredibly angry. The amount of freedom that had been taken from not just him but people for decades, most likely hundreds of years. It sent Cole into a state where he dose what he always dose when he is angry go to discord for answers and it is always the same. so they started their normal mental conversation they had at this time it had only had happened 1 time before once when it was out of control during the time when they saw their mom die and once in the that hellish place that they here for the last 3 year during the 2nd year it costed them to be beat up pretty badly but they survived. They had the same Goal in mind, The same wish, THe same want, when that happens Cole lets Discord out and Discord does not goes nuts since he felt the same pain Cole did. "Discord," Cole said mentaly, "YeS CoLE i UnDerStaNd I WiLl hold BaCk OnLy SLiGhtlY AnD FoLlOw his ORdErS BuT only UnTil  We Get THiS pLaCe DestroYED. Cole Said as he went to another pillar across from the one Iken was walking to.  He decided to Speak up to tell him now "Hey Iken," Cole said outloud,"Discord is going to be taking over for a bit we are going to need his destructive force that i just can not seem to muster in the way he can all you need to know is that if you need something done he will do it we both agree in this that They need to pay for all of the wrongs they have done not just to me but to people in order to get all of this Crap." He said as he let DiScoRd take CoNtrol. Discord Quickly got straight to the point with Iken as he spoke up in his usually Demonic Voice "CaP MiNd If wE cAll YoU ThAt... Dante watched the failed attempt of the marine go before his eyes; then after he missed he went right back to the water. There was a second shot that came from a direction; he couldn't see the person but he could tell that he wasn't going to be much of a problem. Dante moved his head out of the way and watched the shots hit the glass wall behind him. He then ignored the shot, watching other marines try and head towards him and firing from their rifles and attempting to swing at him with swords. In an instant Dante dashed past them and cut all of their bodies with his chainsaw in half. Dante looked around for someone he knew but saw nobody, where had Ikari gone? He turned around and used his soru speed to dash across more hoards of Marines. He made his way around he building and eventually saw an.. angel? In the sky after nor even a minute of running (less then 10 seconds probably).

Desais penetrated inside a building, and Dante had to find out what was going on. He used his speed and dashed towards Desais and moved through a crack in the concrete wall to the area with marines; Dante then stood there and parried whatever the marines attempted, without looking sometimes, while chainsawing them in the face or body.

"Where is Iken? My assignment is basically completed, with minimal resistance."

Ikari continued to run along the East Wall, attempting to find a way up.  She had a rough knowledge of what the leader of the Steel Village looked line due to her talks with Dante.  Hopefully it'd be enough to notice him.  The main problem she could see would be Iken not knowing her at all.  For once, Dante's constant talking may actually be useful for once.  It was during this moment that Ikari was glad for her cyborg parts and healthy human parts; she could run for hours, maybe days at a push, and have minimal problems with her heart-rate or breathing.  Stopping suddenly, Ikari watched two people scale down the wall in front of her.  Slowly approaching, she tried to find something distinct about them.  It was plainly obvious that they weren't marines, but they still may be foe if the earlier confrontations showed anything.  As they continued to drop, Ikari recognised one of them, or hoped she had the right person anyway; Iken of the Iron City.  At this point, Ikari began to sprint again, attempting to follow the pair; "Oi! Wait up!"

It seemed that Ikari nearly went in a full turn back to the area she was heading away from.  At least now she had found the person she was looking for, though they seemed to be ignoring her.  Or it could be the fighting and explosions being louder than her voice.  Most likely that.  Finally catching up to them, Ikari took a second to catch a bit of breathe and look at them both.  One seemed to be in awe of the place in front of them.  The other seems to have lost his head.  He may have had one too many bullets to the brain to want to kill all the marines.  Ikari technically died.  She has an excuse.  Finally moving towards Iken, Ikari would speak; "Hey, are you Iken of the Silver City?  I'm Ikari from the...uh...I'm with Sand for Brains."
Looking to the other person before looking back to Iken, she would quickly add;
"What's up with him?"

[S.S. Camelot]

Barton turned as Dagon burst towards him in his animal like rage.  The marine captain had been caught off guard by the fishman's sudden burst of strength before but he wouldn't be this time.  Out of water the creature before him was slower than he would be in it.  This gave Barton ample time to to perceive the threat and act against it.  Turning to the side, Barton side stepped the oncoming foe avoiding what seemed like an attempt at a tackle.  Just as Dago was about to leap over the edge, Barton used the reach his large frame gave him to attempt and grab the fishman's tail just below the barb.  With his free hand Barton attempted a hand chop technique aimed of the base of Dagon's tail.  With the power in Barton's chop he would likely break or even sever the tail altogether.

Bruce was patrolling around the ship like he had been order to do when he sensed something was happening above on the ship.  He could smell fresh blood and a lot of it.  It almost made him go into frenzy thinking about all the meat and blood up above.  He began to breathe heavily just barely keeping his composure.  He waited to see if there was going to be anything for him to do...or eat.

There was something, it was moving towards the edge of the ship.  Bruce seen him and he seen Bruce and Bruce knew it.  If that fishman was to get into the water they would have to fight, probably to the death.  It was just like Bruce was back in the Holy Lands fighting for their entertainment.  Using the water to boost his speed Bruce charged towards the foe as fast as he could.  He went straight for what would usually be a killing blow on anything else.  The shark fishman attempted to shoot towards Dagon and take a chunk of flesh out of Dagon's neck.  He would attempt to sink in razor sharp teeth into the foe to rip out a portion of his throat.

Derge's eyes widened as Pyro was run through by some monster.  He was thrown to the side through a window like some type of rag doll.  Derge gritted his teeth in rage as the thing before him ran towards the marine captain.  The marine was able to avoid the technique easily enough and even try to grab and counter the monster that had attacked.  Derge rose into the air and used his devil fruit to shoot himself over to the side of the ship the battle was taking place.  He was in the air above the marine his pet monster and the out of control monster.

Derge didn't care what was happening or who was on their side at this point.  All he knew was that Pyro had been run through and tossed aside like common garbage.  There were two monsters on the field in close proximity; as far as Derge was concerned that on made what he had to do easier.  A mass of hardened blood the size of his tsunami was hovering above his head controlled by the arm Derge held just before it.  If Dagon were to escape into the water, Derge would drop it on the both of them.

While it had been year since Kyo and felt pain, the torture she endured at the hands of the Celestial Dragon's was still vividly present in her mind.  As soon as she was strapped up her vision began blurred from the sheer pain.  It wasn't long after that her body and mind began to act reflexively trying to avoid damage a much as possible.  Her head bobbed before falling down letting gravity take over.  Kyo's hair was draped over her face dangling down covering her glazed over eyes.  Kyo was gone, alive but and conscious but not aware of what was going on or about to happen.  She was still feel everything and eventually remember it but for the time being she was dead to the world around her.

[Warehouses]

Iken was walking over to one of the steel supports for the building when Cole explained that he didn't have the power to bring down the building.  Holding onto the hilt of his sword Iken's grip on it tightened when his crew mate explained Discord did.  This wasn't something that Iken had wanted.  It was odd that the two had different power levels with the same body.  Iken didn't like the fact that the dark side seemed to be the stronger one.  At that point Iken knew he would have to do something about this demon living in Cole named Discord but that would have to wait; the two of them had a job to do.  The way Discord spoke was enough to make Iken partially draw his sword.  Discord seemed like the type that would only follow orders if it was continent for him.  His attitude and the condescending tone in which he spoke bothered Iken to the point he knew he had to react.  If Discord wasn't kept under control he could do some real damage in the future.

Another voice came into the situation just before Iken could act.  It was a female looking for Iken of the Silver City...  Even a normally mellow person like Iken could lose it in a war like situation where everyone that was supposed to be his allies disrespected him.  He could hear the clanking coming from each step that the cyborg took.  He figured it was one of Dante's people when she mentioned Sandy for Brains.  It was just great; she was even disrespectful to her own captain.  Iken was in a building with two people that needed a lesson in the peaking order.  Iken had already planned to show Discord that it was a good idea to obey, if he wanted to keep his head but having one more at the demonstration couldn't hurt.

Iken spun around towards Discord and Ikari drawing his sword.  He used his considerable skill and strength along with his high grade sword to slash through a steel beam standing behind them with what seemed like ease.  In the blink of an eye Iken had drawn, cut, and withdrew his sword.  He sliced the steel support at an angle so it would stand until they finished cutting the others.  Once all of the beams were cut all it would take is a yank and gravity would do the rest of the job for them.  "I'd recommend not crossing me if you want your head to remain attached to your body."  Iken said using his charisma to bluff the dark side of Cole.

[Kiddo]

He continued to watch Iken and Cole wondering if he should reveal himself or not to them. That was always the problem with pirates, you could never know who was trustworthy or not. Then again, the whole world was like that. One false move and it could mean the end of your life. Kiddo knew this enough due to the way his old Captain, Jack, treated him. Even an ally within the crew could be the most dangerous thing. One thing that's he could thank Jack for was that life lesson. It may have taken the entire time to torture him and then some for him to learn it, but it was learned none-the-less. He scars itched as he remembered those days and what Jack did to him. He shook his head to keep himself from remembering that time.

A weird voice made his mind stop wandering and he paid attention even more. This member, Cole, seemed to have changed. It was obvious the from the way he acted before to now. This guy must be a nut job! Kiddo thought. It made him realize that this crew can't know he was there. He'd most likely be dead for sure. I've got to get out of here and get what I came here for. Kiddo thought as he waited for an opportune moment to high tail it away from there. Although, he had an idea whatever this crew was looking at, was something he most likely came here for. After all, who wouldn't want a piece of whatever this giant rock was. It seemed rather important, especially since the marines had it. Suddenly, another person showed up and Kiddo knew it was time to leave. Just as he began running away, the man named Iken, sliced through the post he was hiding behind. Luckily for him, he knew he had a bad feeling about being there. Obviously, his hunch was right and it saved his life.

[Steel Village]

Desais kept walking around looking left and right within the warehouse. That's when Dante decided to show up and began asking him where Iken was currently located. "Sorry, but I'm not quite certain myself. This place is huge and my gear gave out just as I made it here. I know that we were planning on getting "that" item from around here somewhere. Maybe he found it already." Desais said as he continued walking. Large shipping containers were everywhere all around them. It was too bad he was a bit exhausted from his gear or else he'd try to fly around to find Iken.

That's when he noticed a shipping container labeled "Celestial Dragon's". Desais couldn't pass it up to see what was inside. He cut the lock that held the doors firmly shut and opened the container. Giant boxes filled the inside of the container. Each was labeled with something different. Some said exotic foods, others weapons, and so on. Then he came across one that said building supplies. Desais remembered back to when he was caged up as a slave and figured maybe they were supplies for that place. It ended up bringing memories back to him going blood thirsty and tearing a man in two. He couldn't help but feel a little sick to his stomach. It was one of the moments that ended up changing Desais more so than he would have wanted. It also made him feel even more of a deep hatred for marines and celestial dragons than he already had. He ended up deciding that this was a waste of time and exited the container so he could continue on looking for Iken.

[Research Facility]

Mikenlo looked at the catatonic girl in front of him. He almost felt pity. Almost. His rage suddenly erupted as he turned into the incarnate of Erebus, his full form. He only took this form when he had already won or had no choice. Mikenlo had no control over Erebus. Erebus laughed at the girl at his feet.

"Pathetic little girl. You have insulted me with your pale figment of my Darkness. I must take my payment in your pain.

First he unbound her, letting her collapse to the floor. Then, Erebus grabbed her by her throat and dragged her into a research room meters away. He slammed her body onto a table covered in beakers and other tools. The glass broke and stuck through her clothes on her legs and arms. Erebus was planning on torturing her well. With his intelligence, he could easily compensate for any lack of skill when carving open her skin. First he stripped her roughly, pulling roughly on the shards of glass. Tossing her clothes aside, Erebus changed into artillery form for an instant, just long enough to procure a darksteel scalpel and some chains and straps. After binding her once more, he cut from the base of her neck, along the spine, just through the skin until he reached her tailbone. He grabbed nearby tools, braces and chains, to pull her skin wide. The technique was flawless and the scalpel sharp. These cuts would leave no scars, despite what others without his intelligence could produce. He took two small hammers used for testing the joints on stiff lifeforms. He played binks' sake on her spine with them, relishing every jerk her body made in protest.

"You have experienced pain. Now for humiliation."

Erebus uses Darkness to press her skin together, forcing her wound shut. The pressure was immense and almost stretched the skin to far. He grabbed a bottle of some type of disinfectant and poured it onto her back. The wound steamed from the touch, and her skin reddened, but the cut was gone. Some experimental chemical he assumed. He began placing needles into her pain receptors. He had plans to make her feel hopeless. He wanted her to go truly insane. And so to add to it, before he finished he whispered.

"It's really your fault you know. You just weren't strong enough."

[Argis's Ship]
Dagon had instincts only. But one instinct was above all else: self-preservation. He acted reflexively to the attack, responding with an attack. He spun with his agility and tried to smash the danger, barton, with his tail, allowing dagon to propel himself into the water; however, the tail was in fact heading towards the sword at that moment, claw ready. Barton's strike, though deflected by his tail, had shattered Dagon's claw. Luckily he could regenerate. Instincts could only work so well. If he had his intellectual ability and physical capacity simultaneously, he could easily have outmaneuvered barton and counterattacked. He dived into the water as intended, but suddenly he was struck from the side. It was a sword, unable to cut him from beneath the water belonging to a marine. Then dagon saw the bubbles and felt the waves as a missile-like creature barely missed him. He could taste some blood even getting deeper in the water as he was, but that only encouraged his vigorous swimming.

Argis was bleeding rapidly. The fight had taken around half of his constitution without the blood loss. Swimming as fast as he could towards his ship, where he had supplies to help him find pyro and live long enough to get healed. Then suddenly a large creature shot into the water. A fishman. Then he noticed the subtle movement of the water. Water was moving fast towards him. He attacked the fishman, stabbing at his throat, believing him to be the cause. His attack bounced off the steel hard skin. Argis didn't have the ability to cut him in this state, in his home territory. Rather than be hit directly by the oncoming, he swiped upward with all the skill and speed his left could muster alone and tried to slice the oncoming bruce, mistaking him for a water attack.

Pyro, meanwhile, pulled himself out of the rubble bit by bit, mostly pinned. He heard a commotion above, a splash, and an unmistakable gurgling swooping sound. He assumed that some type of conflict with the creature that staked him was taking place; otherwise, Derge would not be using the blood tsunami Pyro heard. Pyro gave an almighty shove, pulling on every physical stat he had to try to overcome the rubble from the fall. It lurched and then crumbled beneath his weight, and he fell outward face first onto the lower deck floor. He never liked being this enclosed. As a bird he liked open spaces. And as a devil fruit user he hated water. Three floors below deck on a moving ship was not something he enjoyed at all. He stood up, shaky from his misadventure. Blue flames where healing his wounds bit by bit. Why did he always have the bad luck? Pyro began to move forward, towards the stairs that would lead to the deck.

[Warehouses]

Lancelot and Gawain finished they're last combo move, in which Lancelot deflect one of Gawain's strongest attacks in order to increase its strength. The resulting airblade cut clear through the floor and straight through warehouse 4's side. The building opened up, revealing a seemingly empty storage space. But a pillar had been split in two.

"....... G..."

Lancelot looked where Gawain motioned with his blade, noticing the pillar.

"Right. Let's go."

The pillar could only had been cut by an expert swordsman and no marines had entered that warehouse in months according to the official report. The two walked calmly into the hoke the created, ignoring the pirates who gladly gave them wide berth. The pirates were losing as far as numbers went. Sure they killed more marines than marines did pirates, but the pirates had far more limited strength of numbers. They were outnumbered at least 2:1 and where on marine home territory. And their captain was dead. Gawain and Lancelot knew the victory could not be so easy. Whether the had another force, or if the steel village had arrived they did not know. But something was up in the warehouse and they were going to find out.
