The tension inside the large stone walls of the Stone Hound marine base was mounting.  Pirates so powerful that not even the fifty foot tall, ten foot thick stone walls would keep out.  In the numerous clashes over the last few years, five different pirate crews not only dominated in their battles with the marines, they grew stronger each time they did.  The fact that the crews hadn't moved on to the Grandline worried the various marine bases across the whole of West Blue.  Generally when pirates that powerful didn't move on to the Grandline they were preparing to take over the Blue.    Reinforcements had arrived recently from East Blue however they only sent a small crew.  Even if several of the members of the crew they sent had devil fruits, it didn't help the level of tension at all.

This particular base was located in the North-West portion of West Blue.  A massive fifty foot tall by ten foot thick wall surrounded the entirety of the base except for the northern tip where two massive steel grate doors stand to allow water into the levy.  The levy runs almost the entirety of the base from North to South.  Despite having a gate system the levy looks like a river flowing through the middle of the island, due to the three section gates being submerged when not in use.  On the southern side of the island a small underwater grate allows the water to flow through naturally.  Both the large grated doors and the grate on the south side are electrically charged when the base goes into lockdown.  The base is rough oval in shape with there being 10-12 miles in between the two walls at any given point while the northern to the southern tip is anywhere from 15-17 miles wide.  On the south side of the base outside the rails a manmade reef made from a crystal like coral and jagged rocked extend out in a half moon pattern for five miles south, south-west, and south-east.  The man made, naturally inspired defense would be akin to traveling through an asteroid field with a space ship.

On either side of the steel grates of justice...stand two eighty foot guard towers.  The towers are built into the wall, the station they hold connected to the walkway atop of the wall by a stone walkway with glass ascending ten feet above the walls. More glass runs along the top of the stone walls on the outside of the wall making it look like there was nothing between the marine and anyone viewing them but air.  Small portions of the glass walls have been cut out and hinged into place to allow the marines to open them for cannon or rifle fire if the need arose.  Positioned every mile on either side of the towers was a station built into the walls.  The stations are connected to the ground by a set of stairs built into the walls.  Nearest to the gates was the marine housing, with the poorest looking ghetto like accommodations separated by a small wall with stair built into the middle to allow the lower ranking marines a road to get to their stations in the south.  The farther towards the south, the better the living accommodations became.  Towards the lower middle section of the base ended the middle income level where a second wall stood separating the middle and upper section. All up and down the housing sectors, a network of roads merged into one large road that connected all three sections.  The upper section was by far the largest of the three, containing buildings including the upper echelon housing, shops, and the official marine sites.  At the farthest southern tip the base headquarters sat, a large stone building with large roman style columns decorating the front walkway.  To the south-west of the base a research facility was connected to the levy by a large loading port and a system of underwater tunnels.  The maze of tunnels lead outside of the walls were a underwater grate was located several miles offshore as a secret escape hatch that only few on the base knew about.  On the south-east end of the of the base a massive complex of warehouses  store an incredible quantity of the quarry stone waiting to be shipped off to the Grandline.  A second large port was built carving out a large section of the stone in  front of the warehouse complex to allow the cargo ships to get as close as possible when the stone is unloaded.

[Marine Headquarters Meeting]

Inside of the marine headquarters the two captains that were in charge of the base were discussing the possibility of a pirate attack.  Captain Razz and Captain Barton were in a meeting rooms with their respective aids along with a red-haired girl in civilian looking clothes.  Kyōkihime and Captain Barton's aid, the marine with the monocle were sitting on the far end of the table.  She had decided to separate herself from the two captains however for her and everyone else's safety it was decided the monocle marine would sit by her as a guard.  The meeting was a mock disciplinary hearing as it was a strategy meeting.  Despite the two captains' best efforts they had no authority over an agent of the World Government regardless of the fact that she was a lower rank.

"If you had attacked instead of standing by like a coward, we could have taken them out.  We wouldn't have to worry about this whole situation if you had just let me go wild." she said in an arrogant tone.  The young CP agent sat with her legs and arms crossed projecting defensive body language.

"If we had attacked, that logia user would have sunk our ship before Maison had saved us.  Plus there was no telling how strong the other members of his or the Steel Village crew had gotten.  At the time we didn't know that Gato's crew was on a separate ship.  I determined the risk to my ship and crew was just too high to continue after the first shot had been blocked like that.  Now what we really should be talking about was that fact that you just about destroyed my ship, placing everyone onboard of that vessel in danger and immobilizing us when the pirate Dante Gato attacked.  You should be hung from the gallows like the common criminal you are!" Barton shouted across the table.

"ME, THE CRIMINAL?  You're the traitor!  You knowingly allowed pirates to leave an island that we had received reports of pirates massacring large amounts of civilians and killing all of the workers in the mines.  They burned down half the town and kill thousands.  What did you see fit to do, LET THEM JUST LEAVE?  It's my job to snuff out those that hinder the interests of the government wherever I may find them.  Even if that hindrance if a cowardly bunch of marines.  The only one here that should be hung from the gallows is you!  Scumbag traitor!" the young redhead shouted.  She stood up and began to gather darkness around her body.

Barton stood up, raising his large fist.  Crashing down upon the table, Barton destroyed the wooden top with one hit from his hardened fist.  "You dare threaten me you crazy little bit..." Barton roared before he was cut off.

"ENOUGH!  Fighting amongst ourselves isn't going anywhere.  If this keeps up, the pirates don't even need to bother attacking, we'll destroy ourselves before they even get here.  Look you two, the fact of the matter is, there is evidence that at least three of the known pirate elements are steadily nearing this base.  The likelihood an attack on a marine base in this Blue is high, and it looks like this base is quickly becoming the prime target.  We need each other.  There isn't two ways around that, its simple fact." Captain Razz argued trying to calm down the situation.

Looking away the young redhead’s response was one of annoyed defeat.  "Tsk...Do whatever to prepare.  I'll be preparing on my own." she said standing up and storming out.

"I suppose you're right Kakor.  Sigh...I'll head over to the research facility and have them release it into the levy." the sack faced captain said before walking out.

"Sigh, I guess I'll go make sure the reinforcements from East Blue know what to do.  The captain's name was Argis or something like that right?" he asked his aid.

A female marines with dark green hair in a messy top bun wearing a pair of thin rimmed glasses looked at her clipboard.  "Yes and as rumor has it he's as strong as if not stronger than you are.  He even uses the same weapon you do.  His first and second lieutenants are nothing to scoff at either.  They are both stronger than I and Captain Barton's aid.  Apparently they brought two lower ranked marines that have devil fruits, their most notable accomplishment was getting the Silver Afro pirate, who possess the room room fruit as well as a bounty of 60 million beli to retreat after attacking the marine base they were stationed at.  There was a third with a zoan type but he has seemed to fall of the radar since that battle.  The flashier of the two is a man sharing the name of Namikaze with the most wanted man of West Blue.  He possess a logia type blood fruit.  It's unknown whether or not his fruit allows his control over other blood based beings, as of now he doesn't appear to have that ability.  The second man has a mythical type zoan, the phoenix that allows him almost instantaneous healing on a cellular level.  In other words, he's hard to kill." she said flipping the page on her board.

"I see.  Where are they now?"

"They are docked at the port for headquarters.  I believe they have been ordered to remain on the ship until you debrief them" she said looking up from her clipboard.  Razz was gone by the time she looked up.  With a sigh she walked out to continue her daily reports.

[Captain Argis' Ship]

Derge was pacing back and forth in front of Pyro.  He didn't like wasting his time, and the fact he had to wait for some arrogant asshole to debrief him before they could leave the ship irritated him.  He had no problem with procedures as long as they were done correctly and with haste.  Argis was as high of a rank as anyone in the base, yet they deemed it necessary to give him and by extension everyone under him orders just because he was the visiting officer.

"We could be out there preparing and getting to know the layout of the base instead of sitting aboard this ship rotting away.  The topographical map they gave us can only show so much, it's much easier to figure it out by experiencing it in person.  We're wasting the home field advantage if every marine on this base doesn't know the layout better than what's shown on this damned map." Derge complained.  Turing on his heels, Derge turned around and walked back down the same path he had walked one hundred times before.  On this pass he swiped the map off of the table before turning to the table and slamming his fist upon it.  Of course if Argis or anyone other than Pyro had been in the room, Derge would have never acted like that.

[Aboard the Big Easy]

Captain Bigie spoke to a passenger he had picked up along the way.  An old man with jet black hair and a pair of thin glasses stood there.  Initially Bigie had intended to attack, pillage, and throw the man overboard; that was until the old man killed half of his crew.  It wasn't long after that the two had figured out they had a common enemy, the Steel Village and its captain.  Both men had been "wronged" by the Steel.  Bigie's first mate had been killed by the first mate before he was in turn killed.  Ivan had been made a fool of by both the former first mate and the current captain in his quest for the black sword of legend.   According the marines the Steel Village flag has been last seen heading in the direction of the Stone Hound marine base.  The burnt wreckage of the marine ship smoldered in the background as the Big Easy head towards the marine base at full sail.

[Steel Village]

In the month since the battle at Las Camp, the Steel Village had been traveling towards marine base indicated on the trade route map as the destination of the quarry rock.  Every week, the crew took several days off to rest, recover, and resupply; trying to slowly make their way to the base while avoiding detection.  Even if the marines suspected that the crew was going to attack, they would still have the element of surprise in when they were attacking.  Iken stood at the front of the ship watching the vast openness of the sea, knowing that slowly but surely he was taking his crew into a battle that very well maybe the hardest one yet.  Even with all of the thoughts running through his head, Iken outwardly appeared stoic with a calm resolve in his confidence.

"Stone Hounds huh?  We'll smash them into pieces so small that all of the world government’s men can't put them together again." Iken said tightly clutching the hilt of his blade.  He stood with one leg strait while the other was bent sitting upon the railing.  His back was arched with his elbow in turn resting on his raised leg.  The breeze created by running the ship at full sail blew through his hair and captain's coat causing it to flutter in the wind.  The last battle at Las Camp had changed something about him.  He wasn't really any stronger physically however he felt sharper, or more aware of things he shouldn't have been.  Iken couldn't really explain it if he had tried but one thing was certain, he was stronger.

[Steel Village Pirates]

Desais felt the soft, yet strong breeze blow through his hair as he held onto the wheel of the ship heading straight for the Stone Hounds. Salt from the sea stung at the now closed wounds of the battle at Las Camp. He definitely had become stronger than he was since before the battle. A new air had formed around him. He was more confident in his skills with his devil fruit than he was before. The grin that appeared across his face seemed somewhat different now as well. Ever since he had began this journey across the open blue, he had changed. He saw death, betrayal, and made all new friends time and again within his short journey. He's shared many emotions with the crew he now was second in command of. Thoughts crossed his mind of his mother and the man who had raised him to become the man he is to this day. He was proud of the ship he had maintained and also proud of the men he watched over.

A new battle was about to unfold, and new scars were sure to take their place. Many more memories are about to take place at the marine base they were headed to. Without a doubt he trusted in his captain with what they were about to do. Desais looked at his captain with his big old grin and threw his fist into the air when he heard what he had to say. Desais screamed loud and proud to compliment the captains words. "This should be a good fight!" Desais replied as he looked back towards the front of the ship. His whole body formed goosebumps at the excitement of the battle that was about to be waged.

[Aboard the Bloody Pirates]

On the other side of the sea, heading towards the Stone Hounds was a dark and blood thirsty crew. The excitement and anticipation was thick in the air as they sailed onward towards their destination. A door slammed open in the most gracious manner as a man, skeleton, or specter looking being walked out. In his hand he grasped the jade skull necklace and then gently draped it around his neck. He smiled as he looked upon his crew with diligent eyes and then out to sea towards the Stone Hounds base. Captain Blood-Boot Jack then raised his left arm up to his eyes so he could look upon the hands of the falcon carved, ivory tusked watch. "Aye, tis be near the time we shall arrive to the Stone Hounds. We have no time to waste, for if we make our gracious host wait any longer, we may be needing to do a little fisticuffs. Better yet, how about we have ourselves a bit of a dual twenty paces away." Laughed Captain Jack as he looked towards his first mate. "What do you think about that Kiddo?" asked Captain Jack.

J.J. Kiddo smiled as he lifted his legs up in a kicking manner. "I think that's a wondrous idea father. Maybe after, we could all go for a swim or a nice jog." He smiled as he twisted his body with his legs swirling around in the air. J.J. Kiddo danced around in nothing but his Hawaiian swim wear and his steel cleats. He felt the need to wear as little as possible, so as to be as fast as he needed. He enjoyed being the fastest he could be in anything he did. His green eyes glistened as the sun sparkled upon the ocean and reflected itself back to him. Style was apparent with his father, but that was one thing he didn't really pick up. Well, you could say he has his own flare for things.

The bloody pirates had their own agenda aside that from what the steel village pirates intended to do. They wished to loot and plunder, as well as destroy anyone that got in their way. A trail of blood was all they wished to leave behind after their departure from the Stone Hounds. That was just what they intended to do. Little did they know that the battle was going to be even more exciting than they what they are anticipating. Both for the Steel Village crew and for the Bloody pirates.

[S.S. Camelot Main Deck]

Argis stood watch. Normally he'd have his lieutenants do such tasks, but Lancelot was prepping the weapons and stocking the ship; Gawain was reminding his fellow men about basic strategies to avoid the effects of basic pirate weapons such as cutlasses and shrapnel bombs. It was better for Argis to stand watch anyway. It allowed him to direct as needed from the main deck, ensuring the ship was ready for anything. He was also able to see if word had come from the base. Argis had felt insulted in how they treated him and his crew; he was of a mind that they should run drills with the home-base marines and memorize the layout. Tactician as he was, he saw no benefit from withholding necessary experience from his men, but he was also a devout marine who new better than to question authority or orders. He paced the tower, watching. And off in the distance he spotted what appeared to be a ship, but he couldn't tell from the distance. If it was a ship, it wouldn't be here immediately. But he would inform them as soon as possible regardless. He was about to send lift a snail when he spotted one of the officers approaching from the distance.

[2nd floor]
Meanwhile, Gawain and Lancelot had set the boat and the crew down to the centimeter. They were officially ready, even if they weren't really prepared for what was coming next. Gawain blended into the wall as he tyically did, his tacky clothes standing out despite his blurred, unexplained blending. He was talking to Lacelot about what they expected, but all the ended up doing was reviewing the newspapers over and over again. Lancelot was performing tricks absentmindedly with his katana, juggling tacks on the back end. He was enthusiastic, ready for a chance to prove himself.

[Living Quarters]
Pyro had listened to Derge intently. He frankly agreed with him, but he was in no position to argue or discuss the topic, and neither was Derge. Pyro had been surprised that Argis had complied as he had. Normally Argis was very outspoken about honor, duty, and respect. But even Argis must submit sometimes, Pyro assumed. He sighed, and he fell backwards onto his bed, hitting the metal bar above it on the way down. He was unphased by the pain; he felt worse quite often.

"Why aren't we allowed up deck again? I was wanting to get accustomed to the drafts here. My wings are still stiff from our last misadventure. I wish something would happen already. If we're going to be unprepared and haphazardly thrown as pawns into the game, we might as well get it over with already."

Pyro drew his new sword and stuck it between the metal plating beneath him, admiring his luck at finding such a beautiful and high-class rapier. It would be necessary for this battle, he could just feel it.

[meanwhile in a distant storm]
"Ckhaaha ghahahaha hehehahaa!"

The Grand Mikenlo was dancing in front of the fanatic cult. He was currently naked, swing his staff around like a monkey in mating season. One of his followers asked why he was naked in the rain. It was his last words. Mikenlo is not questioned by his followers. To do so is to deny his commandments, documented in his book. Punishment for such crime can vary, but Mikenlo decided to whack him in the testicles, and then overboard. He had no idea where he was foing, but he was going somewhere and he was going to have a lot of fun.

Cole was cleaning the Front deck when he started to think more into what the Pirate that helped raised him taught him now that he felt that they where not any real immediate danger he remember more like that he had completely forgot that they did teach him the basic on how to do things like steer the ship, and how to do basic day to day open seas ship tasks, but now that he was not as young as he was and was not near them any more he finally saw most of them for how they were. Which was still ass hats they only taught him so they could get free labor of of him as Cole remembered all of the time he cleaned there ship and work on helping them with basic tasks. Even though they help him become great at cleaning but at the time he thought it was important work for piracy man was he an idiot. He is glad that he started to catch on by the time he was sixteen but then all of his focus went into his devil fruit and he totally forgot about it until now. But Cole just put that behind of him now that he was free from the slave camp he was on the open seas with his crew and he couldn't Help but smile at the freedom he now had and the dream he was now living he was on his way to his goal to become a pirate now he just wanted to enjoy the time he had with his friends he had not really talk to anyone since the event he had been busy with some ideas he had for moves he had to perfect in order to protect his fellow crewmates and his captain since he felt like he was not strong enough to protect them.

Inside of his mind Discord started to talk to Cole "You should be more worried about how you are going t explain me to Iken right now even though it would be hilarious to see it happen mid battle I need us to stay alive so we can get those ass hat marines for what they did to Brenda. This seems a good as time as any go talk to him now since we are not busy and it will be fun to watch my only hope is that is only blow up in your face just enough for me to get a laugh and not feel like we are in danger," While most of the Cole did not listen to discord since he would rather see him cause the Chaos he so much loved rather than actually help things stay normal and calm he did bring up a good point so Cole when over to Iken and spoke up "Iken can I talk to you a moment."

Dante was already inside his ship, taking the usual bath before going anywhere. Dante was a very clean person, on top of that he was a very passive person. His crew usually had him clean the ship go out shopping for them, and in some cases they even punch him and he does nothing about it. But that is the end of his passiveness, he usually shows no mercy after he warns an enemy. He floated, he was on a float, to the edge of his make-shift pool. He got out of it, making sure he washed himself well with the water in the pool, and dried himself up. This is the moment he was waiting for, it was a moment to kill corrupted marines.

He walked over to the door, opening it, and walked through his wooden halls. The women's dorm was in front of him, but he walked right past it and up into the second floor of the ship, where the men slept and the storage was kept, finally walked right past their room as well and made it to the deck of the ship. The waves made the ship feel like it was levitating in a steady air current. It was almost still, if not for the winds powering the ship forward. Dante looked to his side, seeing the pirate captain that he met in the last island, and sighed. This Dante's way of destroying corruption, he'll need to make an impact for the marines to understand that there is resistance in the world; the resistance will overtake the government one way or another.

Dante sailed towards the destination.

[Research Facility]

Barton opened a large steel door with a heavy lock on the outside of it. He had made his way from the marine's headquarter building to the nearby research center. Entering the facility he made his way through a hidden set of tunnels where he found the locked door. Walking into the room behind the door he could see a large circular pool filled with seawater. As he entered into the room the lights automatically flipped on. Three chains hooked to a different wall lead into the water, eventually disappearing into the blue depths. He waited before looking up towards and hidden observation window. As he turned back around to face the pool, the chains began to retract into the walls; pulling them out of the water. After a few moments a creature appeared from within the water. The chains stretched the creature as it lifted him into the air into a cross like position causing a noticeable amount of pain. The chains on opposite sides were connected to each arm while the third chain from the back of the room was latched around the creature's midsection. It was some kind of man, yet it also looked like a shark; a shark type fishman as known to those who travel the Grandline.

"Bruce is it? Your services are needed, we need you to fight alongside of us. Kill any pirate that would be stupid enough to enter or go near the edge of the levy. If their ships make it through the gates, sink them. Do what you're told and you'll be allowed to freely swim the levy as you wish." Barton said with a sort of questioning tone in his voice. The marine captain wasn't sure what they were doing was right. He was just an animal after all, an animal that was intelligent enough to be a threat. An intelligent animal they had been testing and prodding for years. Barton didn't really see how letting him loose could ever result in anything good. Unfortunately orders were orders especially when they didn't have the forces to counter the pirates on their own.

Bruce nodded as the captain began to speak. The man's proposition sounded fine to Bruce, he had been forced to kill people he knew for their entertainment back when he was serving the Celestial Dragons. Killing someone he didn't even know was something within his ability. It's not like Bruce wanted to, but it was better than the alternative. "I understand. If master wants me to kill, than I kill. It would make me very happy to swim in the big river and take in the sun warmth" he answered in a booming and growly low voice.

Barton waved his hand up above his head giving the signal to the control room operator. All three latches that were holding Bruce opened at the same time, dropping him back into the pool. Bruce resurfaced a moment later; exposing his head and back fin. He stared at Barton waiting for the marine to give him the command. Barton took a deep breath as the fishman in front of him disappeared for a moment. He half expected the beast to shoot out of the water at him with his fangs bared. When Bruce reemerged Barton closed his eyes and sighed.

"Go, enter the levy from the underwater tunnels. However remember the gates and grates are electrified. One touch and we'll be having roast shark for dinner." the marine said in a threatening manner.

Bruce sunk under the water once again. This time Bruce didn't resurface, rather he entered the tunnel and went out towards the levy system. Bruce knew the tunnels as he had explored them all before. Initially Bruce wasn't even chained in that room. For months after he arrived he explored the various underwater tunnels that lead throughout the island. Some were simply service drains while others were sewer. Several even lead outside, however they were all covered with electrified grates. One day after severe experimentation Bruce tried to escape by ramming into the steel grates. The only thing Bruce succeeded in was almost killing himself. Alarms blared and the electrical shock knocked Bruce out cold as soon as he touched the grate. The damage he sustained from the grate cause burns all over his body to the point the scientists experimenting on him didn't think he would make it.

[Outside Headquarters]

Kyōkihime kicked the dirt as she cussed under her breath. Walking away from the building she had, had a literal aura of darkness pulsating all around her body the whole time. She was pissed off and didn't care who knew it. "How dare that old bastard accuse me? I'm an agent of the world government! He should be licking my boots so I'll put in a good word for him...not that I would either way." she said walking aimlessly through the upper section. Objects around her shuttered as she walked past due to the gravitational nature of her powers of darkness. If the woman let out her full power upon the marine base she could easily kill hundreds of people in a single go. It wouldn’t take her long to wipe out the entire island, probably no more than a few hour to completely level everything.
The marine with the monocle followed the fiery redhead. He kept the same calm expression the entire time. Even as Kyo threw her tantrum and pushed out darkness, he didn't even bat an eye. His eye under the glassware was firmly fixed on the volatile woman. If she did something stupid he'd have to react almost instantly or notice what she was doing before she even did it. In his left pocket he kept an apple and in his right he kept a pistol. If it came down to it, the marine would pull out the cocked weapon; shooting the girl in the back of the head. So long as he had the fruit nearby losing the fruit shouldn't be a problem. After all the fruit was what was so valuable, not the user of the fruit.

[Aboard S.S. Camelot]

Captain Kakor Razz walked onto the main deck from the docks below. He recognized his fellow captain from the picture that came with the papers that the marine base had sent over detailing the reinforcements they had sent. Argis seemed to be pacing as he kept watch over the ship, he had surely seen Razz board the ship. Razz made his way over to the man; as he got closer it was evident that the man was irritated for some reason or another. Sighing, Razz walked over with a weak smile on his face trying to prepare for any ill feelings that could be sent his way. The whole situation was rather unfortunate for everyone, including the host base; Razz just hoped his fellow marine would realize that. He reached back and scratched the back of his head, stopping just in front of Argis.

"Captain Argis I presume? I'm Captain Kakor Razz, the official head of the Stone Hound base. Captain Barton, the second couldn't make the meeting. He's off preparing other contingency plans... Anyway enough about rank and all of that. If you need anything just talk to one of the lieutenants, one of them can be found in headquarters at all times. They will see that you and your crew get anything you want as long as it's in our power." he said extending his hand for a handshake.

"As far as strategy goes, all we can really do is keep the preparations for yellow alter up during the day and orange alter at night time. The problem with going into red alert is that it's too strenuous to be kept up for long since we don't know when they're going to arrive. Ahaha...we know they're coming, just not when or why, or really how many of them there are. We're still in the dark as to whether or not this will be the only base attacked which is why the reinforcements have been spread so thin between the various bases. The nearest base from here is at least a day and half. If we're attacked for the sheer distance combined with reasons I've already covered, we wouldn't have reinforcements for at least three days. I hope you and your boys are in for the long hall. If you don't have any questions, you and your crew are dismissed. You have free reign of the base, except for the research facility of course. It would also be a good idea to stay away from the edge of the levy." Razz relayed to Argis.

[Living Quarters]

Derge heard footsteps come from up on desk. Whoever it was didn't bother masking their steps as they walked across the deck. Maybe it was the person who was supposed to come to relieve them? It was probably some poor lieutenant sent to do the base captain's dirty work. Derge looked at Pryo as he laid back, hitting the bare as he did. The young marine didn't blink when his fellow marine crashed into the bar, as it didn't do nearly enough damage to even come close to threatening the super healer. Derge listened as Pryo complained about not being able to go out and test the drafts.

"Exactly like I was saying. We need to get out there and put our feet in the water in order to fight properly. Screw this, I'm going to go see who boarded the ship. Even if we're not allowed on the deck, we can still use the stairs leading up to the deck. I for one want to hear what they're talking about." Derge said walking out of the room. He slowly floated up the stairs until his head was just below the deck of the ship. Derge could hear two people talking but he could really make out what they were saying.

[Big Easy]

The ship carrying the Bigie pirates and the infamous Ivan Schwartz found themselves in a particularly precarious predicament. The ship was sailing for the southern side of the base and once they had gotten around five miles out they ran into a massive rock. The jagged sore carved into the ship was bad, but not enough to sink them. Members of the Bigie crew were working feverishly to try and path the hole before the captain killed anyone else. When the incident took place he had been so angry that his ship was damaged, he grabbed the head navigator and threw him down on the rock where he was impaled by it. The ship was dead in the water until they could get the breach sealed.

Ivan looked out at the sea with a small handheld telescope. It appeared that the former navigator had sailed the ship into a mine field of jagged rocks and coral just below the surface of the water. Shifting into his rat hybrid form the old man leaped off of the side of the ship and onto the rocks below. With the combination of his sharp claws digging into the rock along with his speed and agility to leap around, Ivan began heading towards the island. The journey was slow and precarious, however it was direct. Going directly towards the backside of the base would be much quicker than waiting for the ship to be repaired only to have to wait while it was steered out of the rocks and then steered around the rest of the rocks to the front of the base.

"I'll be taking my leave." Ivan stated before leaping over the side of the ship.

"You rat bastard! How dare you leave me behind?!" Bigie yelled towards the other pirate.

[Steel Village]

Iken could here the member of his crew chattering behind him. Desais agreed with what Iken had said, cheering the crew on as they sailed towards battle. He was a good second in commander, Iken was glad he had made that decision. Iken kept his eyes set towards the direction that the ship was traveling even as he heard Cole talking to himself. It seemed strange that the man was holding a conversation with himself. Listening in, it almost sounded like two different people were speaking as each one had a slightly different tone. Even though Iken noticed the difference he didn't really get why it was happening. Thanks to the battle that was coming up, Iken didn't really give the situation much thought.

Turning his head he looked at Dante's ship sailing near his own, following the Steel Village. Iken held a rolled up map in his hand. Moving his head back to its natural position he quickly unrolled the trade map he had plundered from the mines. There were several large red Xs across a large portion of the map around the base. It depicted a jagged formation in a five mile diameter around the south, east, and west sides of the base. Iken knew that a frontal assault was usually a bad idea but they had little choice in the matter. It was far too treacherous to head towards the base in any direction but from the north.

When Cole came up to Iken, he rolled up the map and turned around to face his new cook. Iken nodded at the strange new crew member as he approached. "Yeah, we can talk. What do you need?" Iken asked looking Cole in the eyes.

<Steel Village>

Desais grinned as he peered ahead at the sea. He was ecstatic for the next battle they were coming to. Surely he knew it wasn't going to be easy. It was definitely going to be a bit harder than their last journeys across the open blue. After all, a pirates life isn't one meant for weaklings. Those that walked this path needed to keep getting stronger. If that wasn't the case, then they met with an early grave. This was something Desais did not intend to do. Not for him or for the crew mates he was second in command of. He vowed to himself that it wasn't going to happen again. At least not as long as he drew breath.

There wasn't much to his steering job. The ocean didn't have much for obstacles where they were headed. At least that's what he thought. As they got closer and closer to their destination, Desais could see objects off in the distance. He looked hard out in front of the Ragnell at what they were coming up to. "Hey Iken, you might want to see this. I think there are some rock formations coming our way." Desais said as he pointed straight ahead. Desais knew if that were the case, it was going to be a bit trickier dodging them. Although this was pretty simple dodging for a small ship such as the Ragnell, it would still be a bit difficult. After all, these rocks were meant to keep all ships at bay.

<The Bloody Pirates>

Captain Jack decided to enjoy a good drink while he waited for them to arrive at the Stone Hounds. A golden glass with rubies and other gems is what he drank from. The wine was a rich bitter flavor that the captain enjoyed. It looked as though it was as thick as blood and as red as the morning sun. Only the best for the captain of such fancy taste. The wine trickled down his throat as a he grinned from cheek to cheek. With a loud slam, one of his mates opened the door to the captain's quarters. With a quick pull of his pistol, the captain felled the crew member. "What could be so important as to interrupt my merrymaking!" Captain Jack spewed as another member arrived at the door. "Sir, there happens to be some jagged looking rocks blocking our way to our destination." The member stated as other came to remove the corpse. Captain Jack got up from his seat to have a look outside.

Indeed, there were jagged rocks covering the whole coastline. This enraged Captain Jack as he stared from the left and the right. "Well we bloody better be making it through or I'll kill hall the lot of you!" He yelled as he glared at the crew and then looked down at his watch. Time was ticking away and there was nothing more he hated than to be late. After all, a gentleman arrives on time. Kiddo just laughed as he looked at the crew members sprawling about with fear from the threat. "Well if there is one thing I know, and that is that my father knows how to motivate others." He laughed again but went silent as Captain Jack glared at him. Kiddo gulped as he turned towards the crew and yelled at them. "You heard the Captain! Get a move on! There better not be a single scratch on this ship when we make it through!"

[Research Facility]
Dagon awoke and remembered the horror that he was in. He had been careless and was taken surprise by a team of paradise bounty hunters taking a vacation a few islands over. Suddenly he found himself in the nearest marine base, and a research facility at that. Though he had no bounty, they received a reward for the recovery of a celestial slave. The Dragon, angry at Dagon for his betrayal, was more than willing to allow the research team to experiment on him; in fact, he even suggested it. The team was in the early stages of the research, having only injected him with a few chemicals and tested the acid resistance of his armor. They had dagon sealed tightly, even tighter than the other experiment. When he was brought it, he grew horrified at the chains they were trying to place him into, and went into a Primal Rage. He killed 8 marines before a Captain landed a solid blow to the head and knocked him out. He had awoken before chained by each wrist and each ankle tightly. But they had forgotten his tail... And his claws. He ended up attacked them all with his claws, in the process permanently scarring the research area he was in. This stalled them from experimenting on him until the captain came back, and easily deflected his claws. The captain used more chains to bind his hands and tail so he could not attack. He was in full panic mode. He had long since came out of his rage, but he still had his phobic fear of chains. He wished to escape into the water inches from his face. In his stupor, he barely noticed the loud grinding coming from behind him.

[Aboard S.S. Camelot]
Argis shook the man's hand and listened to his debrief. It was all sensible, typical procedure. He said stay away from the levy. This probably meant they had laid a trap of sorts in that area. It was noted, as he did not want to face whatever traps they could have placed from the research facility. But he felt like there was some missing information.

"Sir, I would like to make a request. I would like to know what the official orders are concerning the quarry and research facility. I do not need any confidential information, but I would like to know what my priorities are while I am your guest... GAWAIN! LANCELOT! Tell the boys to get a good hold on the terrain! They can leave the ship now. Razz isn't it? Would you care to discuss some strategy in my office? It won't take long at all."

Lancelot and Gawain didn't even acknowledge their captain's orders seemingly. But after a few seconds, Gawain slammed his foot onto the deck four times. Below him was the dining hall and living quarters, the only two parts of the ship that actually had people at the time. The four hits was a signal. It meant report to the deck, we're about to leave the ship. Lancelot threw some firewood and mid-air carved the wood into a message and pinned it to the mast. It read
'Examine the perimeter
Research Area and Levy OFF LIMITS'
Lacelot and Gawain jumped off the ship and began to discuss which areas have a swordsman's advantage.

[Living Quarters]
Pyro heard the signal. They were allowed to get of the ship. Finally. He could leave the stupid room. He pulled himself up and opened the door holding it open for his partner. He couldn't wait until he could stretch out and let the drafts carry him. But he'd need to check the layout with Derge first, otherwise he wouldn't have a good memory of key advantages. He just wasn't quite as smart.

"Well, looks like our prayers have been answered. Let's go get our advantage before the real demons get here. Well, the other demons..."

Pyro threw a joke at Derge. What else could you call someone who created and controlled blood? He was almost like some type of Vampire Overlord. Pyro wasn't much better, but his anti-undead nature made him 'holy' or something at first glance. That and his powers were made more as support. Healing powers made him a great tank, but didn't provide much powers of his own unless zombies were swarming everything, and he had already learned the hard way that some zombies aren't actually undead, and he was almost useless against them.

[Out in the New World]
"All hail the Darkling Prince!"

The cultists chanted over and over again as Mikenlo did whatever he wanted, but he was bored. He wanted to cause true chaos. Maybe you should go to the west blue. I feel a sort of darkness there that I haven't sensed since my unity with Night. Darkness had spoken to Mikenlo. He decided he would obey. Why not? Darkness had yet to betray him. And besides, anything could be better than sitting around in the storm. But he didn't know which island to go to. He decided to make a game right there. He would teleport island to island until he saw people he wanted to kill. He jumped onto the water and just before a wave would submerge him and end his life, he teleported to the West Blue.

With Iken looking into his eyes cole was nervous of him freaking out form Discord as this was one of the first time He had came out since they had left the prison... it was over all strange but it was not something he could worry about that now he had to tell Iken about well... all of it for him to understand why cole is what he is once he got an idea on what to tell him he started to speak. "Well Iken I have a a slight problem," Cole said nervously as he took a deep breath as this was going to be a long shortening of his life. "I have not had the best past as I can guess for a lot of the people on this crew but mine have left me with a... let's just say it is an interesting problem for now before i was in that hellish place I help my mom run an Inn with my mother for most of my life but around three years ago that all changed," Cole started to tear up and look down as he could not hold down the emotion of thee memory. "We harbored pirates and hid them from the navy hid them while they were on our island form the marines that were on the island. I grew up admiring pirates since my father was one and the stories my mother told me always made my father and his crew sound like complete Badass. heck he is the reason I have this devil fruit as he kept it as he wanted to give it to me when i turn of age but he he died before i was born. So when i was around ten they taught me all of the basics about how to take care of a ship and keep it clean by the Pirates that stayed at the Inn while helping my mom with everything since it was just us. but on my 18th birthday THAT WHEN THEY CAME," Cole voice could not help but start to sound darker. "THey Took her and they executed her. THEY EXECUTED HER ALL BECAUSE OF WHAT SEE WAS DOING AND HE WAS RELATED TO MY FATHER THOSE DAM MARINES SHE WAS THe most important person in my life and she was gone," Cole fell to the ground he hated reliving the worst moment in his life as he stared to Cry. But he got back up to continue his story "I had no one all of the pirate did not get caught just left me all alone. At the time i was not punished since they did not know i help my mother and they thought I was innocent. So i just Broke and rushed the executioner but he was the only marien I was able to before i was caught and got my ass kicked by a Lieutenant Commander and was sent of a Prison Ship where HE first Spoke to me He is the dark side of me he was all of the dark emotions i could not keep inside of me and i subconsciously made him you know what you should just meet him hold on one second. Discord you need to talk to Iken," Discord mentally said to Cole He would not . Cole ask again promising to discord a cookie and a chance to let him go all out in a battle that was coming up soon. Discord said if he made it 2 cookies he would do it. Cole Agreed. "HEllO CapTAIN My NaME is DISCORD, THE ParT of COle'S mind that HE KEeP ALL oF His worst EMotIOns HIs lust ,Anger ,want of Mudering everthing that is not inncont or a friend and oVeRall JeRkiness is that eVEN a word anyways, I am His Only WaY OF KEePing SAiN or as SaNe aS wE Can Get. I Just WaNted To SAY HeLLo And tO MAke Sure ThAT when We Are BAttle SIDe by SiDe Against ThOse MARINS ASSHOLE YoU Do NoT GEt Confused Why COle Starts Acting All WiLd anYwAys I am going back into cOLE's Subconscious ANd i CAn not Wait To start KillING MARINES but for now i have to FiINIsh A plan I am MAking up BYENEE."he said as he gave contol back to Cole. "So that was discord I just wanted to make sure that you knew about him and i am free to awser any question you have..... also please do not hate me and kick me off of the crew this is the first step to my Dream and my mother last word to me." Cole Could only Hope Iken saw the truth in his eyes and understood his problem.

Dante walked around his ship, removing the sail from the ship for it to sit almost still in the water; the ship had seemingly tattered sails, and was black and looked like it was about to fall apart but in reality it was as sturdy as the average ship (Dante just wanted it to look scary). He then launched himself from the ground, and flew straight towards Iken's ship; he left his own behind, if the others wanted to join the fight they'd have to drive themselves towards it. Dante dropped himself a few meters from Iken; his sand dispersed from under his waist and his legs could be seen once more. Before it just looked like Dante's entire lower half was a tail. Landing on the deck Dante could hear what the other crew member was saying, about an alternate personality, and while that happened Dante picked up an old rag from his back pocket and started using it to clean some of the dirtier areas on the deck. One could see him plainly moving through the ship; the rag was on the floor with Dante running while holding it.

Dante, after cleaning the big marks on the ground, then moved through the doors that lead to the other area of the ship and continued in that direction. He made sure to clean as much as he could. Today he wore a black long sleeved shirt, black jeans, and fancy dress shoes (italian style). He had black shades and a silver necklace and ear pieces. He really didn't look like he should be cleaning.

[Research Facility]

Barton let out a heavy sigh of relief when Bruce disappeared. He turned around and walked out the door, sealing it shut behind him. The captain leaned against the wall with his head against his arm. He remembered the last time he had to deal with one of their kind. The other one they had in the facility got loose and he had to deal with it after it had killed a number of his men. Barton gripped his chest with one hand and this fact with the other. Underneath the official marine attire and the bag he wore over his head large scars covered replaced his normal skin. They were worse than regular scars, the gashes he had suffered healed irregularly due to some kind of natural poison the bastard was using at the time. The doctors did all they could, but the scars or rather the burn marks remained covering large portions of his face and chest. Barton corrected himself before punching the intercom button; smashing it in the process. The wounded marine walked back down the hall, he had, had enough for one day. "At least this one doesn't have that fishman water magic crap...” Barton mumbled to himself.

Bruce could smell the pheromones, that powerful marine that he had talked to was terrified. He had no idea why someone as powerful as he was would be afraid. It didn't really matter; Bruce had his freedom; even if it was just temporary. There was something strange that Bruce had noticed a while back. If the chains hadn't been restricting him, he would have gone to check out the scent ages ago. It was something strange, not quite human, and while not quite a fish or animal either. Bruce wondered if it was another like him. It had been so long that he forgot the scent of his own kind. Maybe he wasn't the only one captured; maybe some of the others survived the attack like he had. He could only hope.

Bruce easily navigated the underwater tunnels following the scent from the other creature the marines were holding. He entered from the tunnel that allowed ocean water to enter the pool. The pool was deep and dark, meaning Bruce could see them but they could see Bruce. There was definitely something hanging there, another fishman; however it wasn't one like Bruce. The shark fishman bowed his head as his excitement, his hope had betrayed him. Regardless of whether the creature was one of his own or not, the way he hanging there was just too cruel. Bruce looked up at the fishman dangling above the water. Two blades of water shot out of the water heading towards the general direction of the defenseless fishman. The blades gazed the bottom set of chains before chopping through the top set. As soon as Bruce launched his attack he fled through the tunnels. When the top chains were cut, Dagon's arms were freed causing his top half to fall into the water.

[The River/Levy]

As Kyōkihime drew closer to the river, the marine that was escorting her grew more and more nervous. The devilish woman smiled at the amount of torment she could dish out by just walking towards the water. She had been warned to stay away from the water due to some classified aquatic trap the marines were trying out but she didn't really give a damn. No matter what it was, she was confident her darkness would be more than enough to protect her and destroy whatever it was. Before long the marine lieutenant with the monocle was so noticeably shaken that Kyo couldn't hold in the laughter.

"BWAHahaha! Pathetic fool, if you're so afraid of what's in this water feel free to leave. If you can't event keep your wits about you in this kind of situation I can assure you, you will be of no use if I feel like wrecking shit. Trust me when I say this worm, I am far more dangerous than whatever pet project you fools have laying at the bottom of that river!" Kyo yelled.

Kyōkihime wasn't exactly quiet; in fact it was quite the opposite. She belched out classified information like a childish little girl squealing with a friend over the latest gossip. The second in command for Barton, had enough of it. He had put up with the little wench yelling and screaming at his captain like a child, he had even put up with the terrible attitude but yelling out classified information was going too far (even if every marine in the compound had been warned about the levy). He pulled out his pistol and shot the girl point blank in the face. The golden plate on the gun glistened with the letters that spelled out Kenju.

"Tsk..." he said gritting his teeth.

The darkness had pulled the bullet in and was absorbed before it could do its job. He had no way of hurting her as long as the darkness remained around her body in a protective layer like that. If she would just attack him he could have a chance at her. Unfortunately the redhead was used to abuse, she didn't even blink. Kenju pulled his hand out of his waist band where his back up pistol was stashed. If she had reacted how he wanted her to, the instant she went to attack him, he would quick draw and firing a killing blow on the woman.

"Well screw this. Do what the hell you want, I obviously can't stop you." Kenju said walking away from the woman. More importantly he was walking away from the river and the dangers hidden within it. "I hope the bitch gets eaten by the damned fishman." he muttered under his breath.

[Aboard S.S. Camelot]

Razz almost wanted to slam his face into his palm. Of course they would just have to send him such bothersome reinforcements. Most marines would just have accepted what he had said at face value without questioning it, but no this bastard was sharp; he asked questions that Razz would have to answer carefully. Kakor smiled brightly as if his inquiries were no problem at all, he was good at hiding his true demeanor. He didn't pay much attention to the way Argis ordered his men around. Razz was annoyed at how uncultured Argis especially when it seemed so effective.

"Of course you'd have some questions, which is only natural. I'm glad you mentioned the quarry, that's something I forgot to mention. It's a resource we are paid to guard and ship for some VIPs that the guys that run everything made a deal with. We ship the nobles and such the stone to do whatever they want with and we get a fortune worth of beli to upgrade our facilities. If you're wondering about what happened in at the quarry, it's as the newspapers say a couple of pirate crews broke in, massacred the workers, and burnt down the town to boot. They stole all of the pay for the workers that were stored in the vault. Seeing as how the mines employed nearly a thousand people, they made off with a lot of beli. It seems the ones that perpetrated the crime formed a sort of alliance, Iken Namikaze and Date Gato. As far back as I can remember two pirate crews forming an alliance before the make it to the Grandline is unheard of." Razz said trying to slyly redirect the conversion to make Argis more worried about the alliance than any of the facts Razz had shaped.

"If you're asking what goes on inside the facility as far as what kind of research, you're asking the wrong person. I don't even know what goes on in there with all those squints coming and going. The best I can tell, they're doing some kind of testing on various aquatic life. Seeing what resistances they have and what makes them tick. I don't see why the area itself is particularly classified but orders are orders... And I really don't have the time to go over strategy at the moment. If we can set up a time before the attack, I'd be glad to however right now I have other business to attend to." the marine said spinning his half-truths as reality. The captain made it known he couldn't stay and left shortly after, his departure would seem somewhat abrupt.

[Below Deck - On Deck]

Derge waited for Pyro to get his ass up there before floating up onto the deck with him. Pyro was quick, he must have wanted to leave as much as Derge had. The bird-man had said that their prays had been answered. Derge glared at Pyro when he called him a demon. What was worse he had compared him to the pirates, even if it was offhanded and supposed to be funny; it really pissed Derge off. Without a moment of hesitation or any change in appearance or expression, Derge lifted his right arm; pointing his index finger at Pyro. A projectile of blood rocketed at Pyro like a bullet. It was Derge's blood bullet, it moved as fast as the real thing and would likely hurt as much as if Derge slammed Pyro with one of his blood tsunami at full power. Derge turn around, he knew that the bullet while could be fatal to some would have little effect on the person he aimed it at.

All of the sudden Derge heard something that stopped him in his tracks. Iken Namikaze... He had read the local newspapers like everyone else; he had seen the name in there. Derge knew Iken wouldn't do the things it accused him of; even if he had become a pirate in the time they had separated. After that, Derge followed the conversion a little more closely. Everything sounded so legit but Derge knew that he was lying. Iken would never kill innocent people or burn down a town. What was strangest yet was the fact Iken was coming to attack a marine base. Iken wasn't one to go out and look for a fight without provocation. Derge wondered what the hell Iken was doing, when it was pirates that had killed everyone they had held dear but Derge knew better than to believe the crap that the captain was spouting. If Pyro had thought he had seen Derge angry before he hadn't. Derge was shaking he was so angry; causing blood to float around his body. His instinct was telling his body to get ready to fight, as the intense emotions began to overtake him. He began walking towards Razz and Argis; he didn't even know what he would do when he got close to them.

[The Wall]

Ivan lifted his rat like head to look up at the wall in front of him. It was stone so he could easily use his claws to climb it if he needed to. He transformed into his full forming, scurrying around; looking around trying to find a service entrance or something that would allow him in without him having to climb the whole wall. There was nothing, he figured everything must have been underwater. That didn't really do any good for a man with a devil fruit. With that he picked a secluded spot half way in between to guard towers where he would be the furthest away from each. He listened with his ear against the wall to make sure there wasn't anyone on the other side. Once he was certain he was safe to being, he returned to his hybrid form once more. He knew that there was more than one way in; if he didn't want to go over, there was always through. He used his powerful rat shaped teeth and claws to slowly carve his way through the ten foot thick wall.

[Steel Village]

Iken was patient with the new member of his crew. He allowed to Cole to tell his story, and then the reason why he told it. It wasn't anything Iken hadn’t heard or even seen firsthand. He had been through something similar however Iken had lost a whole lot more than Cole had. Well more numerically at least; if his mother was his whole world like he claimed, Cole may very well have lost as much if not more than he had. Iken was at least sympathetic towards the new member of the crew, even if his story seemed crazy. Iken had heard of things like this, where people just...break. Leave it to the marines to break a child so badly that he creates a homicidal second personality to express his feelings of loss.

Iken was a bit taken back by Cole when he began talking to himself or the personality he called Discord. Then he heard it, the other voice he had heard before. Iken's eyes widened for a brief moment as Discord was speaking. The captain could feel that he was off somehow, that his words were dark in a strange sort of way. Iken knew that he had to keep an eye on Cole when he turned to this personality. It was just like a flash, and the voice changed again. He could tell Cole was back to himself. Iken was glad and a bit relieved when Cole's personality returned but it concerned him that they could switch back and forth so quickly. Maybe the two personalities weren't as separate as he thought they were. Iken listened to the boy’s plea. Reaching his hand out, Iken placed it upon Cole's head. With a smile he looked at Cole and said, "Don't worry my friend. Steel is steel, even if it has been warped a little. While our environment may shape us, in the end we get to choose what we really are. You chose to be steel and that won't change." Iken was charismatic in his wording and tone of the situation. Forget that he was a captain; to most onlookers it would look like a father and son.

When Desais called out to Iken, he walked past Cole allowing his arm to drop. He watched as Dante began cleaning the ship in rather strange attire, something totally unfit to actually clean in. Shaking his head he walked past the strange man and towards Desais. They were finally at the point where his plans would start coming to fruition. While most pirates couldn't get past those rocks to save their lives, the Steel Village was different. They could easily go over them, avoiding the front gate altogether. Iken hit the lever that controlled the latch for the anchor causing it to fall into the ocean bringing the ship to and abrupt halt.

"Desais and Cole on me." he said turning around walking towards Dante. "We need you to make a platform big enough to carry us over that wall." Iken said pointing off in the distance. There was a spec of an island with what appeared to be a wall around it. It was a little more than five miles away. "Do you think you can do it?" Iken asked with a smug grin, questioning the other captain's endurance.

[Steel Village]

Desais noticed Dante board the ship. It was extremely questionable what he was doing, and why he was dressed the way he was. To Desais it seemed like he was dressed for a funeral. All of the black and with the beaming sun down on their face. It was entirely strange, but he knew he had more things to worry about. But still, it was rather weird. After he was done observing Dante, Desais looked back towards Iken. Iken was now heading towards Desais to see what he was talking about. The ship halted as Iken pulled to lever for the anchor and they all walked up to a wall facing them. Hmmm that looks like fun to climb. Desais thought as he looked straight up the wall.

"Well how do you supposed we make it up?" Desais said as he looked at Dante. It would probably be easiest if Dante happened to bring them up there. If not that, then I probably could bring one person up at a time using my gear. That would exhaust me a bit, and probably not Dante at all. Just as Desais was thinking this, Iken turned to Dante to request him to take them up there. Clearly Iken figured this was the best way of going about things. Either that or he didn't know that Desais could fly now. Either case, they were going to be going up the wall.

[Aboard S.S. Camelot]
"Now hold on, you never answered my question. I still need to know what the priority is. If you don't give me a specific goal, I can only default to the marine code and my own morals, which may conflict with orders. You know as well as I do that we cannot allow that to happen."

Argis was talking but suddenly, as he just finished talking, a glow of red appeared. Pyro had drawn his new weapon and was aiming for Razz. He had already taken a blow to the chest, but it had little bearing to him. He had changed forms into his Beast Form out of his anger.

Flames of the Saber Fang

Pyro's Anger erupted, his thermal energy presenting itself in his blade. He struck at Razz, knowing it would be avoided before he struck, acting on instinct more than anything else, spinning into a downward jump strike. The strike of 77.5% skill and 47.5% agility had a total destructive force of 125% plus fire. The strike carried pyro into the concrete dock, slicing through it with ease.

"Never disrespect the integrity of the marines. Or we who stand for nothing less than the absolute obedience of the marine code shall strike you down."

Pyro had displayed his loyalty to Argis and the marines in that he stood for the code. But he was our of place, hasty in his anger. Argis sighed. Pyro likes to take things head on. He placed his hand on his rapier, ready to neutralize any conflict.

"Pyro, calm yourself. This is not the place. Razz, I respect your priorities, but I can't lead my men if we have none, as you can see."

Suddenly the ship shook, and smoke rose from the distance.

[Research Facility]

Dagon had water. He was so close to freedom. But suddenly the chains that had snapped wound themselves in the machine which suspended the chains and his chains began to pull him, liable to rip him apart. In determination to live, fear for his life, and anger at the marines, he felt his rage come again and he resisted the chains. Suddenly they snapped, sliding off his tail and clinging to his ankles. The chains were sucked into the machine. Immediately, as dagon saw the mechanism, having had his rage ended, he realized it was about to explode. He swam away, using the forward acceleration to reduce the blast, and accelerate him in the tube. Launched like a torpedo, he found himself launched onto concrete. Another area of water behind a gate was available, so he quickly took it and swam to the gate. He noticed it had a standard marine pulley lever system. He decided to climb to the top in order to search for a lever. Someone had freed him, and he happened to have a stroke of luck involved with it. Maybe luck would hold. If not, he'd be poisoning quite a few marines.

Cole felt a mountain of fear and sadness being lifted off of his back by Iken. He has accepted him for who he was even with Discord as apart of him he only hope he would be able to fight alongside him when Cole was not strong enough to win his own battles. And with iken Words he started to come up with some new ideas on how to make himself stronger. He need his own style since his current one was mainly made by Discord and he need his own way to fight and he knew just what to call it. As Cole was Coming up with ideas for his new style he heard Iken call up for him to come to him he went straight away and started to rush over to Iken as he did though Cole walked passed the man that had that Sand base Devil Fruit that helped them against that incredibly powerful old man that had tried to stop them. Cole not caring really how he got onto the ship stop by him and quickly said before he went to Iken "Thank you for helping my now captain and also i do not know why you are cleaning the ship but it is nice to know that some one else know the necessity of keeping a ship clean." Cole said as he quickly started back to walking towards Iken. As he got there he heard what Iken say to Desais. That made wondering if Desais was that strong with his Devil Fruit that he could make a platform big enough to carry everyone over that wall. So far all Cole knew that Desais had a painful experience in his past from his tone of voice when they were in there cells and that he had a Devil Fruit that had something to do with Bone from when he had pulled the Boat on there get away. But that did not matter now as he waited for his next order  thinking on how to use his ribbons for his own style of fighting to help them in the coming battle as he though he could not but hear Discord laugh but not in a way normal to him it sound strangely ... normal to him not having any malice or hate behind it he wondered what the hell is Discord was doing deep within his own mind as he went back to making the ideas for his moves.

His cleaning was interrupted by Iken, whom asked him if he could take everyone in the group over the wall. He looked for a moment at the size of the people, then nodded. He crossed his arms. "I can take everyone over the wall. I will also say this; you guys should be careful. Marines have a very crafty way of doing things, so once we go over that wall there will be hell." Dante then stopped for a moment, remembering how he broke out of prison and looked at the distance. "It will be hard for me to protect everyone once we get past the walls, so I'll assist but not if it means getting me killed. In return for helping you do this, and destroying the corrupt marine base, you have to tell me everything you know about the man you called 'Cat'."

Dante looked at the rest of the crew, thinking they might have something to do with his brother's disappearance. If anything he should be hanging them upside down and asking for answers, but they're strong; and they survived the last endeavor for quite awhile. Although, this will be a war that Dante will not forget. Even if they somehow sneak in the odds of the marines finding an organized way to counter their assault is very high once they start. Unless the small group of pirates is attacking the marines head on (a suicide wish) it's best to infiltrate and damage them from the inside with one quick attack before they know the pirates are even there. However, that is much easier said then done.

He then, suddenly, created tentacles out of his body that grabbed the members of the crew without any warning. His lower body then turned into sand and he flew into the air. Before they knew it they were over the wall.

[Levy/River]

Bruce was swimming along the levy enjoying his new found freedom, or at least as much freedom as he has had in years. The salty ocean water stung as the water washed over the old sores he had from the latches. There was a slight discoloration where the shackles had been. Bruce was happy that he could finally stretch his fins after so long. He wouldn't make the same mistake he had before, escape was impossible and only served to tighten the leash. It would likely take something major for Bruce to consider escaping or betraying his masters again.

As he was swimming along exuberantly, he almost didn't notice the presence of the person near the edge of the water. Bruce dove before swimming closer to the area where the he had felt the presence. He looked up from the bottom of the levy, crouching his legs ready to kick off. The shark type fishman stared at the figure for a while before he noticed it was a female. She had red hair and creamy skin with a marble like complexion. His eyes widened, it was her; the girl from the Holy Land. Bruce had always watched her from a distance, he admired her. She always seemed so strong and proud, at least she was when he was there. Bruce wasn't sure what to do. Sure he had been told to kill pirates and try to sink their ships but was the girl a pirate. She didn't really look like a marine; she didn't wear the uniform.

Kyōkihime looked down into the river and crouched down beside it. Even though it was a strain on her body, she didn't dare lower her guard. She half expected the marines to have a sniper trained on her. If she let her dark guard down, she was certain they would kill her. She knew full well that she was expendable, however the fruit she had eaten was not. It was almost funny that she was safer surrounded by a horde of pirates than she was inside a marine base or any government facility. They wouldn't kill her or let her get killed so long as they had a chance to lose their precious fruit. The young woman sighed as she gazed into the deep blue water almost lost in her thoughts of idle despair.

She knew her mission, the one she was given that the marines didn't know about. The research facility was the top priority. It was only thing to allow slavery and cruel treatment of humanoid creates but it was a whole different level actually partaking in it. If they were attacked and it looked like it was a losing battle she was to take in the entire research facility to remove any evidence of the marine’s involvement in the slave trade and or "test" being conducted on said creatures. Her second priority was the stores of quarry rock. They were to be taken into her darkness to be stored until they could be released in a safe location. It wasn't exactly a fail-safe plan, the facilities and the resources would likely be damaged by the nature of the darkness however there was no other way to transport so much mass with such little effort. After that she was to leave by any means necessary in order for the resources to be returned.

[S.S. Camelot]

Pyro's attack was so straightforward and slow compared to Razz that he was easily able to leap out of the way with his incredible speed and moderate agility. Razz leaped onto the rail of the ship, watching Pyro shoot by him, likely unable to control his path little lone stop himself. He watched as Pyro slammed into the dock below slicing into it like butter. Crouching on the railing he turned towards Razz, completely unfazed by the outburst. He smiled smugly at Captain Argis like he had just avoided one of Argis' blows.

"Oh how scary. I guess you can't keep your dogs on a leash all the time huh, Captain? I don't see how someone of your caliber made captain, but logic is rarely the specialty of the board of promotion. They see a the strength of some muscle bound brain dead brute and apparently that's enough to be made a captain these days." He said with an insincere level of concern. "Of course since you're in charge of them, the damages the caused shall be taken out of your salary directly. Just remember that for future reference when you decide to let them roam free. Like I said the most important buildings are the quarry and research facility. You're forbidden from the lab so obviously you should strive to protect the warehouses. That's an order." Razz said allowing his smile to fade.

Standing up he look at the oncoming Derge, his intent was similar to the one that had just attacked him. Razz had to make an example otherwise they would never learn to respect him or his power. A marine that couldn't take orders for any superior was no more useful than a trained dog, that only listens to one master; they were trash. A piece of railing that Razz was standing on splintered as he kicked off of it shooting directly at Derge at full speed. His technique was so fast that no one on the ship would have actually been able to follow his moments. Argis, at best was see a quick blur as Razz raced forward. He drove his sword into Derge's midsection driving him into off of the ship and pinning him against the stone docks. Derge hung there on the captain's narrow sword, he could feel his body tearing as it slid downwards. If something wasn't done to stop it, he felt like the blade would cut him in half. Razz stood on the edge of the port, standing over Derge using his sword to balance himself. He smirked at the young marine, seeing all of the blood pouring out of his body.

"I suppose I should move before you try to use fruit to try for a sneak attack." he said smugly.

Turning his gaze towards Pyro he used his soru like technique to close the distance between them. He got under Pyro, crouched down in a stance ready to attack. He turned the hilt of his sword towards the zoan type fruit user at such a speed not even Captain Argis would be able to help him in time, especially if had went to help Derge. Razz aimed his multiple hit attack so it would send the fruit user careening into the water. The home field captain had no intention of killing his reinforcements, just humiliating them and the one they served. However just before his blunt attack was about to strike at Pyro, he stopped mid attack. An explosion at the research facility turned his attention elsewhere. In the blink of an eye he was gone from the view of the marine crew.

"Ugh stay where you're at." he yelled over his order from the edge of a nearby roof.

Derge floated on a small platform just above the water, formed from the blood that had poured out of him when Razz ran him through. Derge had planned to use it to attack if the marine captain hadn't pulled out the blade. The pain was excruciating however none of his organs had been damaged. It was likely that the attacking marine had intentionally avoided harming Derge critically. His breath was labored and panicked as he knelled on his hands and knees. The man that had just attacked him could have killed him before he even knew what had happened.

"Mother Fucker." mumbled Derge.

[Steel Village]

Iken and his crew were on their way towards the marine base. Dante was carrying them with his sand in exchange for information on Cat. Iken didn't really want to speak about what happened, but in order to avenge him and all of the people on that island, he was willing to pay the price. The marine that had killed his best friend was going to die. He didn't care whether or not he had to die in order to get his vengeance. With the speed of Dante's fruit it didn't take long for the pirates to reach the wall whatsoever. Iken looked down at the wall and the guard stations positions along the walls. It appeared there was one station positioned on every mile mark.

"I figure they have a check in system similar to the one at the mines. Once an hours each station would have to check in with some main station or some headquarters, probably that big building over there." Iken said pointing to the South side of the island. "This means we're going to operate under the assumption we have a maximum of one hour to take out all seventeen stations before check in occurs. Regardless of how many of the stations are down, we have to head down off of the walls to put distance between us and the area the marines are looking. Our target is the storage area where the quarry rock is being kept. That's probably that area over there." Iken said pointing towards the compound of warehouses. "Drop Desais and I off on the western side, we'll head south, while you hand Cole take the eastern side head north. We'll..." He managed to say before all of the sudden an explosion at one of the larger buildings causing Iken to pause his talk of strategy.

[Bloody Pirates]

Through excruciating trouble with maneuvering the ship, they final made it to the eastern side of the wall. Captain Jack walked up to the front of the ship at starred up at the massive wall. He smiled a great big smile as he turned back towards his crew. "We've arrived mates, and it is time we give these marine's the hell that they deserve." The captain said as he pointed towards the men near the cannons on both sides of the ship. "Aye, let's make this battle to remember. Granted, majority of us won't be making it out alive but we shall stain the ground with our blood and the blood of the marines!" The captain threw his fist into the air and the sun glinted down upon his watch.

Kiddo stood leaning on the mast smiling as he saw the men aiming their cannons at the great big wall. It wasn't certain they'd make it through, but they were going to try. Kiddo then walked over to the edge of the ship and stared down into the depths of the water. He figured there was something odd about the water and the way the coral had been placed. This made him a little uneasy but he couldn't disagree with his father, the captain. The next moment Captain Jack screamed fire and all at once, four cannons shot at one particular part of the wall. A hole was formed, which was obvious that they weren't going to get through with mere cannon fire. "Alright ye maties, grab as much gunpowder barrels as you can and fill the hole. We are blasting our way through!" The captain barked as his men began to fill the newly made hole with gunpowder barrels.

As soon as it was set up, the crew ran to the captain's cabin of the ship as he aimed his pistol at the barrels. "Knock, Knock." said the captain as he grinned and with another moment, shot the bullet from his pistol at the barrels.

[Steel Village]

The ride up was far more enjoyable than the first time he was in the sand. Desais saw the sky up closely, more so than he had before. He took in the sights and then came back to as his captain began speaking of strategy. Him and Iken were to take the western side and most likely not try to bring attention to themselves while Cole and Dante would do the same on the eastern side. It sounded like a good plan and an able one at that. Desais was ready for whatever may come.

That is, until the explosion was heard on the island. It was clear that the party had already been started and they arrived late. Desais jerked his head towards the explosion on the island to see giant flames licking at the sky. "Well, I think we should be good about not getting noticed. Hopefully..." Desais said to break the quiet of the group.

[Aboard S.S. Camelot]
Razz's movements where being tracked by argis, as was his demeanor. Argis had a lot of experience with marines like Razz. He knew the moment before Razz moved where Razz was going. Knowing the point of destination, Razz threw his Rapier. The rapier stuck under the feet of the sliding Derge, stopping the sword in his chest from splitting him in two. He saw a blur out of the corner of his eye, but that didn't matter. He wouldn't kill any of his crew. If Razz had gone after Pyro, he would just swim after him. He knew pyro wouldn't die just from being submerged. Then the explosion happened, and Razz was gone.

Pyro was insulted by Razz's words. He wanted to kill him, but knew he wouldn't get away with it. And he had to obey Argis, who had said to quit. Pyro turned to Argis awaiting a verdict.

"I should lecture you both, but I'll save it until the trip home. As your punishment, both of you load and set the cannons. Keep your cool here, or you may end up out of my protection."

Pyro slammed his fist onto the ground. He lifted himself and walked to derge. He wanted to go on a rampage with derge, but he couldn't. Instead he signslled for him to come with him.

"Fuck this shit man."

Pyro kicked open the door, wiping the shame off of his back as he went.

[wall]
Dagon had just been getting to the top when the wall to far to his left blew up. He was heading right anyway. Where he saw what appeared to be a crew of pirates. Perfect. Dagon could perhaps earn allies for his escape. But dagon was slow on the land. He was heavy afterall. He would be in sight of anyone with 50% perception or more in the area. If they were looking for someone anyway. But chains were still on his legs. It would also be apparent to anyone he is an escaped prisoner, if he was seen. Dsgon smiled crookedly.

"Looks like the winds have shifted to my favor..."

Dagon moved as fast as he could, which seemed to be a brisk walk at the time. He wondered how powerful the pirates were. He also wondered why so many marines seemed present. It made no sense practically, not unless they knew there was an attack or something... Dagon realized that was likely the case and those who he was walking towards was one of the parties involved.

Cole did not really mind being picked up by the sand he felt free in the air he felt free even though he was free now. There was something about feeling the wind on his body it made him feel even freer them free he never knew why but he always enjoyed windy days. But as Cole was set down by he whent straight to focusing on Iken for his orders this was not a time to joke around much to Discord displeasure as he responded using their mental link 'Awww, but I wanted to be able to make the pain last longer for these guys,' he thought to make sure to use his most whiny voice to annoy Cole. Honestly Cole got use to Discord's whiney voice but after the first half a year at that hellhole of a place they were imprisoned in. It went from being one of the most annoying thing he has every heard to something you have to deal with a relative with an annoying habit like to pinch your cheeks. But anyways Cole was listening to Iken tell them what he thought and Cole thought that was the best guess with all of they almost likely knew so he would just go with what his captain said. Cole was a little sad that he was not with Iken but he would enjoy to get more ideas for battle from another Devil Fruit user that had a item/element based one so he could use them to come with his own idea for moves with his ribbons. As he was going to talk to Dante about how they were going to attack the towers Cole Heard the Explosion the first thing that came to mind and what he said was "What The hell was that," Cole said as he heard Discord laugh like a mad man at the sound of chaos inside of his head. But Even he couldn't help but chuckle after hearing Desais comment about not getting noticed quickly refraining himself since they were in a battle situation and that type of this is for Discord to do not him in these situation.Cole look at his captain for new possible new orders since that explosion could have changed somethings asking the question "Does this situation change the plan," Cole asked?

Just as Dante landed Iken started to tell the crew, and Dante, about his plan to sabotage the marines. Apparently Dante is heading out with Cole, which was odd. He interrupted Iken, but it wasn't to sound obnoxious or self-centered; it was the honest truth. "I'll go on my own. If he goes with me I'm afraid I'll either die holding back against the enemy, or he'll get killed and it will somehow be my fault. He'll go with you." Dante said, turning around. That's when he heard the explosion happen. At first Dante didn't react, but then he turned his lower body into sand and he flew at his top speed (100%) towards the next post. He'll have a time limit to get rid of the ones in his side, he didn't know if the explosion will speed that up or slow it down. More then likely the earlier.

He only wished that his crew would be around to assist in this battle, it would make things much easier if he had the ice princess, the tarracota warrior, and the steel matyr to help him. At the very least a doctor that he trusted on his side. He'll have to fight alone, and in this conflict in order to prove that his rebellion will be real. There will come a day when the people of the world will live in a democracy, and where the just rulers will be voted atop the corrupted. A world where everyone in the government was voted to be there. He will fight for that world, a world without corruption.

[Research Facility]

Barton opened his eyes before slowly sitting up and looking around.  There had been an explosion in one of the chambers where they kept their test subjects.  The facility was built to withstand lab accidents so the explosion was contained for the most part. At most the explosion would have destroyed the enclosures directly next to the one that had been destroyed.  Barton was near Bruce's when it happened; which were two walls away and the worst that happened to him was a minor concussion.  He knew exactly which test subject had caused the trouble, the very same one that had caused him all of the scarring.  Barton spit in the water before walking out of the enclosure.

"Good riddance you fucking monster." he mumbled under his breath.

Squints and and lab geeks of all kinds were running around trying to contain anything that the facility didn't on its own.  Barton walked through the crowds of panic stricken nerds; towering over them as he made his way towards the facilities entrance.  At the entrance, Barton knew exactly who would be waiting there for him.  He walked up to his fellow captain, taking of the bag he wore on his head.  The grotesque acid burns covered the entirety of his face causing the blood in his ears to flow out.  His eardrums had been ruptured by the pressure wave that resulted from the explosion; yet another injury the same fishman had caused him.

"As far as I've been able to gather from the squints running around the explosion was caused by a jammed mechanism that happened the last time the primordial broke out.  When the subject was about to break out the lab coats tried to pull the leash tighter which caused the free chains to be sucked in causing a jam that lead to an explosion.  There was no way it survived that explosion." Barton reported.

"Damn it Barton!  If I find out you set this up, I'll run you though myself.  You damn well know that these beasts are on loan to us and they could ask for them back on a whim.  Do you know the kind of shit storm this could cause?  Not to mention we would have to find someone to blame for this and make sure everyone else is kept quiet.  That's a lot of work you over sized baboon brained moron." Razz barked out his displeasure.  Razz held his head in his hand looking down in silence for a moment.  "Wait...what do you mean it has to be dead?  Have we confirmed a body?" the captain inquired.

Barton looked down and to the side like a little child being scolded by their parent out in public.  He gritted his teeth as he stood there taking the abuse the other marine was dishing out.  His eyes went wide when Razz asked if they had found a body.  He knew that if there was any chance of the primordial skill being alive, he would be the one sent after it.  Fighting that thing, especially near water wasn't something he wanted to do.  "No.  But there was no way that thing..." he said before being cutoff.

"Goddamned fool!  You and I both know how tough that fucking thing is.  If it gets into the water, we might lose both of our primordial assets in one fucking day you goddamned retard.  Fuck I should have to say this but go and find the fucking thing immediately!  I don't give a damn if you have to personally swim the channel and tunnels with a motherfucking snorkel.  Find it or find the damned body!" Razz screamed as he turned and walked off.

An explosion in the eastern wall sent smoke up into the air that was visible from the research facility.  Barton and Razz looked at the pillar of smoke rising into the air with their mouths agape.  Of all the times that pirate had to make their move, this was possibly the worth time either of the captains could have imagined.  What was worse they seemed to have blown the wall.

"You have two hours to find the primordial; after that get your ass over there and run the pirates off.  Oh for shits sake weren't those damned centuries paying attention.  I'll head there personally, so go the fuck going!" Razz ordered before taking off towards the other wall.

[River]

Bruce was infatuated by the presence of the girl above him.  He couldn't attack her even if he was ordered to; his heart was simply not in it.  He stared at her from under the water, secretly admiring the colorful hair that was draped down her back.  Bruce was so engrossed he didn't even notice the other fishman swim by a while back.  He felt the water shift and vibrate from the explosions but they seemed far off so he wasn't overly concerned.  All Bruce wanted to do was creep on the pretty young girl without her knowing...

Bruce floated lazily in the middle of the river with his belly upwards thinking to himself.  He remembered back to his village and the other children there.  Most of them couldn't float on their backs; if they tried they would become immobilized.  Bruce had always thought that was weird for a top predator to be immobilized by just being flipped over.  However it was really the exact opposite, according to the medicine man, it was normal.  There was something in their brain that caused it.  The fact that Bruce could do it without becoming immobilized seemed extraordinary to the others.

Kyōkihime looked at the water with a sort of admiration of it; it was one of the few things in this world she knew could kill her.  She wanted to jump in, pondering the notion of ending it right there and then.  She stood up and inched over to the edge so that the back half of her feet were on the edge while the front half were dangling over.  Kyo raised her arms letting the wind rock her back and forth.  It caused her long red locks to flutter haphazardly like thread off of its spool.

The memory of falling in the water and the feeling of the powerlessness she experienced as the life slowly drained from her body.  She hated that helpless feeling that she was going to die whether she wanted to or not.  With the flood of unusual emotions she backed up a few inches so that the only thing dangling over the edge was her toes.  A set of explosions finally brought the young woman out of her day dream state.  She looked at the smoke and determined the research facility was one of the locations that an explosion had come from.  She knew her mission and she would fulfill it with a newly founded foundation of hate and wrath towards humanity.  Kyōkihime turned away from the water, heading for the research facility.

[S.S. Camelot]

Derge knelled on his platform for a few moments longer before looking up as he was ordered to adjust some of the cannons.  He grabbed Argis' rapier before standing up and floating over up on top of his blood construct platform.  Once in front of Argis he dispersed his platform so he was standing on the deck, on equal footing with Argis.  Derge held the sword out in front of Argis; returning the tool he had used to save him.  The young marine looked around appearing uncomfortable.  He waited for Pyro to leave before he looked back to Argis.

"Thank you..." he said turning away.  As Derge was walking towards the door that Pyro had just kicked open another explosion went off causing smoke to billow upwards into a black pillar.  This time it was on the other side of the island, the same side as the warehouses.  Derge was certain that Razz knew what the explosion earlier was from.  However for the second explosion Razz wasn't around for Derge to gauge a reaction from.  Staring off into the distance for a moment, Derge turned back towards Argis the next.  "The captain did say the warehouses were our top priority." Derge said with a grin.  The young marine shot into the air as using his levitation to fly himself up onto one of the warehouses to get a better view of the surrounding area.

[West Wall - Norther Side]

Ivan managed to get through the wall creating a decent sized entrance for him and the eighty men behind him.  Biggie and his crew had apparently dismantled their ship and used the timber in combination with the coral and rocks to build a rickety bridge to the island.  Many of the grunts had bad injuries and gashes from the sharp rocks.  They were the first line in building the makeshift platform.  It didn't help that matter when the Big Boss would become impatient causing him to kick one or two of the builders into the shallow water that sat on the sharp crystalline coral.  The hole was large enough even for Bigie, the captain of the crew.  That alone was a feet as the eight foot tall man that weighed in at 500 lbs. was just able to squeeze in.

Bigie ordered his men to take the stations up, on the top of the walls.  The large crew split into eight teams of ten and ran along the walls until they were below a station.  It was apparent that the marines didn't ever think that anyone would be able to get in on this side as the marine presence was sparse as best.  Once the group was under one of the stations they would send up ten men to conquer it.

Ivan and Bigie decided to play a different role in the invasion plan.  They obtained a couple of uniforms from a couple of fresh stiffs that had no use for them anymore.  Walking around, even Bigie who would have stuck out most anywhere seemed to blend into the scenery.  "Looks like I was right.  This place is so large that a new face in a marine uniform wasn't actually all that uncommon." Ivan whispered.  "Ya, dose marines won't know what hit dem." said the large man a little too loudly.  Luckily for him his voice was covered up by the sound of a nearby explosion.  The two men ran towards it, following the smoke.  Once there they hid behind a flood gate and listened to the two marine captain's conversation.

[East Wall - Middle]

Iken looked at Dante as he took off saying he would go it alone.  He shook his head before turning away and walking towards the nearest station to the south.  "Fine then, Cole and Desais you're on me." Iken ordered.  All of the sudden an explosion rocked the area almost causing Iken to lose his balance and fall over.  Luckily he caught himself on the glass wall on the outside edge of the wall.  Straightening himself back up his eyes widened as smoke arose from below them.  "Oh fuck!  We need to get going!" Iken yelled as he began running towards the south.

[Bloody Pirates]

"Avast ye maties! Plunder and pillage all that stands in our way!" Said the captain as he raised his cutlass high into the air. The men all screamed with blood thirst and joy as they rushed the newly made hole in the wall of the marine base. Fires were started as they ran murdering all who wore the marine colors. No one was out of reach of them, whether they be woman or child. The pirates ripped and tore their way through. "It is the time to get our riches we so desire and deserve. " Smiled Captain Jack as he and Kiddo made their way through the hole after their men. Captain Jack grinned as he looked towards the sky and saw the black cloud of smoke smoldering in the air. This clearly excited him as his pupils seemed to enlarge with lust. He looked down upon his watch to view the time they had started the slaughter.

"Looks like we made it just in time for the party." said Kiddo as he looked at a distant fire that they hadn't created. Captain Jack heard his son and looked in the direction he looked in. "It appears that the marines are having a bit of trouble elsewhere as well. Well I guess we shall see who creates the most mayhem in this battle, and who's blood shall stain the ground more so." Captain Jack stated as he walked towards the warehouses.

[Steel Village]

The fact that Dante didn't listen to Iken's commands made Desais a bit uneasy. Although it was assumed he wouldn't, after all Dante was captain of his own crew. Perhaps he had his own agenda to fulfill that Iken hadn't known of. Desais was still a bit iffy about trusting him, although he hasn't given much to go off of for the distrust. He did after all save them for the most part in their first battle together. He turned to Iken as they were about to head off, when suddenly, an explosion, not far from where they were, went off. It caused Desais to damn near lose his balance and fall to the ground below. Luckily he reached his arm outwards as he fell and caught himself.

He lifted himself back up and looked at the large black billowing cloud of smoke that erupted from the wall. Screams could be heard from the direction of the explosion, loud exited screams. Clearly they weren't the only pirate crew here with their own agenda. This mission got more dangerous and he could tell Iken knew that as well. Desais heard Iken's words as he began to rush after him towards the south away from the death cloud.

[Aboard S.S. Camelot]
Argis sighed. Lancelot and Gawain had returned to the ship. A lot of noise. They probably came for orders.

"Derge, Pyro, Lieutenants!! The five of us must man the cannons before the enemy can take advantage of us! You thirty-two..."

Argis pointed at the left half of his 65 normal soldiers, who had appeared out of fear more than anything else. Lambs need direction afterall.

"You will go, as Derge suggested, to the area we are supposed to guard. Pyro, Derge, and myself shall rendezvous with you at the fifth hangar. Lieutenants! Stay and man the ship for now. Watch the other ships. Keep the pirates from taking them and using them against us. MARINES WE MUST FIGHT TODAY! FOR JUSTICE, FOR HONOR, FOR OUR LIVES... AND FOR OUR DREAMS!!!!"

The lieutenants enjoyed the speech, but were obviously sour about their roles. They wanted to go prove themselves in battle, not wait around while lower-class soldiers went to the front lines. They eyed pyro and derge in particular with envy. Though the four, more three as derge was only included in Argis's activities because pyro was, were all part of Argis's "round", which is to say favorite and strongest soldiers, pyro had more potential than they did, and Argis likes his personality as much as either of them. Argis had been unwittingly favoring him over the others, and the jealous pair could see it in even greater numbers than truth be told. But they did not complain. They, unlike the wet ears like Derge and Pyro, new their place and roles, so they thought, and would not express dissent on any level to their master.

Pyro let go of the door. He listened intently to Argis's speech. He admired the man greatly. Argis recognized immediately what he would need to do to fulfill his mission, and so he didn't hesitate to rally his men and prepare everyone for battle.truly the mark of a leader. Suddenly Pyro felt determined to obey his leader, more than admiration or respect, out of obligation and charisma.

"Come on Derge, we have a job to do!"

Pyro opened the door and jumped down the stairs, quickly with his hybrid form, rolling to the cannons. He used the enhanced agility to load and set 3 cannons at a time; they job was simple and required no skill, but with his agility he could waste less movement, and therefor multitask better.

[gate]
Dagon arrived at the gate. He had poisoned 4 marines while walking over. The gate had a station. If he was to escape AND get his revenge, he'd have to be careful. In a single instant, he remembered all the information he had been gathering.

It had been exactly 6 minutes since he escaped the facility, 4 minutes and 15 seconds since the explosion in his corridor. He was likely being hunted by the buffoon he that trapped him before. The tough one never did anything involving the experiments. Barton wouldn't begin his search at least for 5 minutes after the explosion. The red alert would have sounded 2 minutes and 45 seconds ago. So in roughly 1 minute and 15 seconds marines would exit the station from his entrance. In roughly 15 seconds the entrance would be clear, with marines resetting the passwords to the terminal.

He formed his plan instantly; it was rather simple. Kill quickly, and destroy anything important. He'd be able to quietly kill the ones working the terminal upon entry, then smash the computer. This would shut down the electronic reinforcements on the gates, as well as release the mechanical locks on the main gate itself, though he would not be strong enough to open it. Without the locks the hinges would be weak, however, and upon exit he could destroy the locks. But there would be soldiers in the way. In his 15 second window, he'd hide in the pocket. Every terminal room has one, as he knew. As soon as the first group came he'd assassinate them. Within 30 seconds the next group would enter and he'd be able to kill them with a decisive strike to the head with each of his limbs, including his head and tail. But only if he went into his primal rage.but once the second group was incapacitated, they would not only know where he is but there wouldn't be an available group for 6 minutes, assuming none could fly or had special speed. But all he'd need is 45 seconds to walk through the building and then use his tail to break the first hinge.

His plan fell through perfectly, killing a total 18 marines in 1 minute and 10 seconds. He step into the door and ran as fast as he could, which on land was barely a jog, and stabbed their throats with his tail and claws; the poison began to rot their larynxes, preventing them from making audible sounds. There were only three. No big deal. He stabbed the terminal motherboards with his tail and stepped into the pocket. The marines ran to the terminal. The blood from his last kill tipped him over the edge. He raged once again, using agility and strength to compensate for his lack of speed. He lunged and use his moderate skill and superior intellect to direct his heavy hands through the 8 marine skulls. The noise made the next group run. He launched himself from the stairs' rail through 4 marines, right in front of 3 more. He had no ability to form plans; however, he at least remembered the one he already planned. He instinctively used his knife bullets with his left hand, launching 5 claws into the four marine torsos he had just collapsed on. Then on the same whim he launched his right hand's claws into the three marine's before him. He got lucky and hit one in the head. As the marines drew their weapons, he began to smash their skulls, wuickly killing the 4 beneath him. The two remaining marines began to fire rounds at the monster while he walked forward, maniacal smile on his face, blood on his hands, face, tail, and all around him, tracking on his foot prints. The weak, primitive bullets bounced off of him. His even more primitive armor was harder than stone. Soft bullets from weak rifles had no effect. As they tried to escape he knocked them off the stairwell they had just opened the door to with his enhanced strength
He walked out into the docking bay's stairwell, and prepared to strike the hinge in front of him.

[East Wall]
Mikenlo had just appeared after the explosion. This was exactly what he was looking for. There was smoke, pirates, and marines everywhere! Perfect for chaos. And with water everywhere, he could travel to generally anywhere around and make chaos. He used his unique method of travel again, hidden in the smoke, appearing at a random spot on base.. Which happened to the the fourth corridor of the facility, where all the genetic engineering took place before testing. The corridor happened to have two cells with water paths in them. He stepped off the water, unto the hard ground. At last mayhem was to arrive.

Ikari stayed within the female room of the ship, staying in her own messy corner. It was here that Ikari would tinker with new ideas, trying to build them as quickly as possible. These would mostly fail, causing a large explosion of mess in that little corner of hers. Of course, she would never clean any of these messes up as it apparently helped her creative mind. In reality, she just liked trying to annoy Dante. It was during one such brain storming session that the Demonic ship suddenly came to a halt. Looking up from the drawing placed in front of her, Ikari would smirk slightly; "I guess the show starts."
She would get up from her workstation, pulling the goggles down from her eyes, letting them hang around her neck. Walking towards the door, Ikari would take a quick once-over on herself. Realising that she is currently caked in oil, dirt and such, Ikari decides that it may be a better idea to go take a quick shower. Wouldn't want to start mass destruction without first looking your best.

Once Ikari finishes washing herself, she would head out onto the deck on the ship. Looking about, none of the other crew members were there, including old Captain Sandy himself. Searching about the area, Ikari would see the other ship docked near their own and a group of people flying up onto a marine wall, being carried by none other than Sandy. Breathless for a moment, Ikari would shout at her captain;
"Oi! Sand for brains! Why'd you leave me out of something like this?! You're the one always telling me to bathe more!"
Grumbling to herself, thinking that Dante wouldn't likely hear her, Ikari would aim to look for an open entrance. She wouldn't be able to find such. It was at that time a large explosion went off. Blinking, Ikari regathered her thoughts and smiled to herself. Getting the ship ready, she would attempt to set sail towards the explosion on the Eastern Side. Though she wasn't exactly the best at driving a ship, if it got scratched or ripped slightly, she'd fix it anyway. Of course, with his ship now moving, it's entirely possible that Sandy could see her and pick her up. Either way, she wasn't being left out of this fight.

Cole had mixed emotions about Dante's response to Iken plan. Firstly Cole felt glad that he was able to fight along his captain and help him in anyway possible. Cole also felt a little ... well fear was not the right word he though a bit about it worried yes that was the word. He was also feeling worried about what Dante said about Cole getting hurt if Cole were to fight alongside of him. But right now was not a time to contemplate all that he was feeling as an explosion rock his world as he fell to the ground on his butt from being unprepared for this. Cole quickly got up and heard Iken's command. As he start to run with all he had as he followed Iken and Desais into the battle getting ready for anything that may come at him in this chaos filled place and all he knew that they were not alone in this battle. But all Cole was worried about is what and who was fighting the same guys they were as Cole followed  Iken and Desais south away from the death cloud.

Meanwhile in Cole Subconscious Realm
Discord could help but chuckle as he watch the world around them fall apart in Chaos 'this battle is turning into something else, something so wonderfully chaotic I am loving it.' He thought mentally as he started come up with some wickedly evil plans for what he was going to do for this battle making sure that he was going to have some catchy one liners for his enemy both him and Cole like to use them they thought it made battle a little bit more fun and make them even more special in they the way they battle. But as he absorbed the area around there body he could lump with glee as he saw all of the ways he could have fun Causing chaos in this place. All he needed was Control and he knew cole would need his help against at least one enemy since he was the more aggressive thinker of the two. And he could not wait to tear some Marines a new one and maybe find some nice fighting buddies as he chuckled at the thought of him making a friend that was Cole's Job.
