Site Rebirth Event!!!

Hey guys! This is one of your Admins saluting all of you in the month of independence... Yeah, for some reason most independences take place in July.

Anyway, as you might have noticed the site has undergone various transformations that have brought it back to activity, which, I believe, relieves most of us! So in celebration of this rebirth of the site we want to hold various contests and events that will allow you to win slots for your account, getting creative and having fun!

So, we would like to know if you have any ideas of the contests and events we could hold. Maybe something roleplay related, such as a side-wide arena. We already have a couple that include:

- Jolly Roger Contest (Drawing or computer-made jolly rogers)
- One Piece world short story contest (Writing a short story that involves a character in the one piece context, perfect for practicing character history)
- Character Characterisation Contest (Drawings of a character [can be an existing one] which can be drawn by hand or in the computer. Text and music can be added to add effect to the description. The best written-drawn- and overall characterized character will win)

What other ideas do you have? What are you interested in? Let us know!

Miss OPRTTGL contest - Each contestant will make a character (not necessarily female, although we do lack those so it could be a nice idea). All the submitted characters will be judged by their originality, and the winner will get to play his char regardless of the required slots for it.

Okama humor contest. Make a cross-dressing character of either sex and make them as tacky, insane, and backwards as possible. Similar to the originality idea. This would be judged based not only on how unique the character is, but on how thorough, ironic, and powerful you can make the character without it being OP or an extremist. Instead of one judging factor, this has five and it must be an Okama.

Debate contest. Certain selected individuals who wish to be part of the debate without competing will search for debate topics throughout the one piece series that does NOT include what has yet to pass, such as if a new member will join the straw hats or who will get the mera mera no mi. The topics would be more like "enel vs whitebeard", "is the ricky cheetah guy a strange human, or did he eat a devil fruit", or "does the guy with food on his fact have a devil fruit". This idea is a double contest. Those who come up with the best debate topics will be rewarded somehow, and then the actual debate comes into play. Those who take part in the debate rely on their knowledge of one piece and their ability to form quick counter-arguments to debate the pro-side or the con-side. The person will not know their topic or position until it is taking place. There will be three judgment factors: bias, knowledge, and logic. Bias means that your opinion either has no bias, or seems to have no bias to the reader. Knowledge is just how much you know about one piece. Logic is how well you fought your position. Each individual will be rated from 1-3 on each factor. The winner of the debate shall be voted upon by the public. The winner gains one bonus point. If they have done as best as possible, they will gain 10 points. This will be repeated so that everyone has a turn with everyone. Teams could be implemented, if a lot of people like the idea. The one with the most points in the end will receive all the prizes, and then each down the list will get one less prize in concept. Like top 1, top 2, top 3, top 5, top 10 stacking prizes.

I really like the debate idea.
