The Night of the Apocalypse Empty
PostSubject: The Night of the Apocalypse    The Night of the Apocalypse Icon_minitimeSat May 10, 2014 5:11 am

Thunder filled the air as water sprayed the face of anyone unlucky enough to face the wind straight on. Perception of everyone inside the rain decreases by 10% with the rain alone; since it's harder to hear, see, and definitely smell. This island with the odd thunder storm with green lightning was the only safe place for miles in the ocean, so while navigating through this storm any person that isn't insane will find docking on the island to be a wise choice. Eight people landed on this island simultaneously, and in different corners of the island. A light green dust filled the air; a person could see these little neon green dust particles every time lightning filled the sky. The island was round, and about fifty miles wide with only one 'safe' building in the entire island, this building is located in the middle and is a mansion that's two stories high. Perfect for fighting off armies if you have a decent group.

Warning:

Iken & Kenshin in the North Side of the Island
Iken and Kenshin will both wake up surrounded by mush on the ground. This island has been raining non stop for days and the ground underneath their feet will feel like every step is trying to 'cave in' with the mud. This will decrease the agility and speed for Iken and Kenshin by 10% on their leg's movements. In front of them is an impossibly long graveyard that is masqueraded by the rain that won't let people with less then 30% perception (including the debuff) see the vastness of the graveyard. The tombstones had the ground in front of them, where the dead are supposed to be buried, glowing neon green in color. Running isn't advised unless the person absolutely has too; if the person's agility is less then 20% after the debuff they'll likely slip.
Debuffs this turn:

Gale & Shinichi in the South Side of the Island
Gale and Shinichi will both wake up in the middle of an abandoned town. All of the homes surrounding the area looked old and taken with odd green mold that glowed a neon green in the dark. The rain seemed very heavy for anyone to take, the solution for most people would be to get away from the rain somehow. Their feet have mud underneath them which slows down their movement by 10% in both agility and speed. Running through this mud with less then 20% agility after the debuff will cause someone to fall on the ground. The rain blurred the vision of anyone that was hit by it, which basically meant the team suffered 10% perception. It took 20% perception to see the town around them completely. The houses went on for miles, but it didn't seem very lively. In fact only Gale and Shihichi are around the area. Aside from the green moss that glowed in the dark neither of them could see the houses very clear in the rain but they were definitely noticeable; picture the houses as blurry shadows through the rain. Gale and Shinichi woke up in the middle of a road that lead straight through the town.
Debuffs this turn:

Ikari & Leonardo in the West Side of the Island
Ikari and Leonardo woke up in the middle of a forest. The ground underneath them seemed semi solid, compared to mud, and the trees blocked the rain from hitting their eyes. A green light emanated from the trees in the forest which helped with the darkness as well. Grass surrounded the ground though, which made running very slippery. The agility of anything walking, or running, through the grass is decreased by 10%, if the agility is less then 20% after the debuff the person is very likely to fall to the ground. Because of a toxic sensation in the air the strength and endurance of the people inside is decreased by 10% as well. A person could see the thickness of the toxic dust in the air just by looking closely at the lights coming from the trees. In the light anyone with decent perception (10%) could see little specs of dust floating around; the dust is light green in color but only shows when intense light hits it. The trees are abnormally strong for wood; they're as strong as iron.
Debuffs this turn:

Desais & Pyro in the East Side of the Island
Desais and Pyro woke up on the top of the only mountain in the island. The thunderstorm was dangerously close to both Desais and Pyro, which made their location the most likely to get shocked by lightning; and so it was. Lightning struck the mountain several times at once, which triggered their sudden alertness to wake up. Flying would be suicidal for most people, since they'd most surely get shocked by the lightning several times before reaching the ground underneath the mountain. A simple road can easily be seen, since there isn't rain in this area, that seemingly leads to the bottom of the mountain. Any normal person could see, by the objects in the side of the road and around the area they woke up in, that wooden objects tried to prevent people from walking too far from the road. This was likely a tourist spot. Tactical intelligence of roughly 20% is needed to know this much at least. The lightning caused most of the wood to be burned off, but the road on the ground is still easily readable. The ground is made of rocks, but they're dry. It's also easy to see that they're easily cracked.
Debuffs this turn:

It's time to start walking/exploring

PostSubject: Re: The Night of the Apocalypse    The Night of the Apocalypse Icon_minitimeSat May 10, 2014 9:10 am

Desais awoke and reached for his head. He rubbed it as he looked around the place. "Where in the hell am I?" Desais said as he looked around. He noticed the thunderstorm and saw as lightning struck the ground nearby. This made Desais jump as it struck. "Holy crap! This place is dangerous. I need to get down from this high place as soon as possible." Desais said as he looked for a way down. This is when he noticed that there was another person with him. He didn't recognize him and it appeared that the other person was in the same situation as he was in. Desais didn't bother with a greeting at the moment. All that mattered now was to get down off of this mountain.

Finally, after searching, Desais saw an obvious path that seemed to lead downwards. Not sure whether or not it actually lead down the mountain, but it was the only way he could see. Desais started his trudge down the mountain carefully avoiding lighting strikes however possible. "What is with this storm?" Desais thought out loud as he started his journey down the mountain.

Shinichi D Kuroda could not have imagined a weirder situation to wake up in if he tried, he blinked in disbelief and wiped his straggly chocolate brown hair out of his eyes, looking at his surroundings. Or he tried to at least, he could not see anything through this torrential rain, no matter how much he squinted his eyes to try and see through it, he couldn't even smell anything, that's how bad it was raining. He looked to the side and could vaguely see a rough outline of what looked like another person laying on the floor, he looked around at his surroundings, the rain all around him blurred his vision but he could see unclear shadows of what could be buildings, maybe, he didn't really know, it was far too blurry to tell.

He looked back to the blurry outline of the unconscious person, he couldn't leave him or her out in the rain, he ran over to the person, just to slip in the mud and land face down in it. He murmured something incomprehensible into the mud and rose to his knees, mud covered his whole body, from his shoes to his legs to his shorts to his shirt and all over his face. He blinked the mud out of his eyes and wiped it on his sleeves, only to get more in his eyes because his sleeve was filthy with fresh mud. He cursed and tried to scramble to his feet, only to slip again and land face first in the mud, he got up and spat out mud and looked at the person. He crawled over to him or her and nudged him or her, trying to get him or her awake Come on, we need to get out of the rain

The Night of the Apocalypse Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Night of the Apocalypse    The Night of the Apocalypse Icon_minitimeSat May 10, 2014 9:23 pm

((OOC: I'd just like to throw in a little math here in respect to Crow's warning.  Going the top average walking speed of 5.5mph and a minimum of 25 miles to reach the mansion it's take over 4 and half hours to reach it.  Post wise that'd probably be 8 to 9 posts per person.))

Iken woke up with rain drops splashing against his face and squishy mud under his back.  Sitting up, Iken examined his surroundings and then himself.  There wasn't much he could tell about the area other than the obvious facts.  It was raining and hard too; so hard in fact that he could barely see in front of himself.  He was also pretty cold as he was drenched to the bone from the rain.  Another anomaly caused by the rain was the rather soft ground; the mud was deep and gave in easily.  Iken knew that trying to run in this kind of stuff wasn't a good idea.

Other than what was happening to him, there were only a couple of things Iken could make out through the down pour.  On his side there was another man lying in the mud, seemingly in the same predicament Iken was in.  From what little Iken could make out of the rest of the surroundings, he could see what appeared to be headstones.  Could they have been placed in a graveyard?  If so that means someone could have been preparing to dispose of the two of them which caused Iken to be a little more cautious of the situation.  Finally every time lightening flashed, Iken could see these weird green things floating in the air.  A spore of some kind?  Iken took precautions by tearing off a sleeve from his jacket and tying it around his mouth and nose.  Even if he had been breathing it the whole time he had been asleep, the first step to countering it would be reducing the amount let in.

Getting up, no thanks to the hindrance of the mud; Iken made his way over to the other man.  With every step, Iken's boots sank into the mud a little which made taking another step all the more difficult.  With his right foot, Iken moved it side to side to test the traction he had.  It only served to confirm his hypothesis that it was slippery as hell.  Once he was finished, Iken tried to rouse the other man by shaking him by his shoulder.  If the man woke up, Iken would begin to make his way towards the center of the island; and if not, Iken could pick the man up and then head towards the center.

"What...?" -Gale was woken up by the downpour torrenting against hs face, in the dark. There was little he could see, and even less he could distinguish. The cloudburst that had exploded on top of this mysterious island, crowned by the rolling thunder and supernatural emerald lightning that soared through the night turnes the darkness into a dance of uncertainty, with blurry visions of reality, damped sounds and bloated smells. The man was stained by the mud from below, this definitely wasnt the cleanest of situations. Definitely not the most enjoyable either.

Gale hadnt stood up yet, he looked around, or rather tried to, and he thought he saw the washed away figure of another human. Could it be that he was stranded in that island, not alone, but with someone. Apparently the man had gotten considerably closer, because he could tell one word apart from the other one. He encouraged Gale to hurry and get out from the rain. He agreed.

"Where the hell are we?!?!" -he exclaimed, hoping that the other person would head him. He stood up and started to walk. Experience with his own clay helped him to fastly understand that if he tried to run he would get nowhere, so he patiently started to walk. Where they could go, he had no idea, but they had to look for a place that had a ceiling.

For someone reason in these dreams he always seemed to enter them with Ikari. As he awoke in the dream with Ikari beside him he looked around and observed his surroundings.  They had wound up in a forest. No not quite it wasn't just some normal forest. Squint at the green light that appeared to be coming from the trees Leonardo saw something else.  In the air the was something else floating. Bracing himself he stood up.  Was it air or the ground itself that made him feel uneasy? Stumbling got to his feet and walked around to get his bearings in order  "Get up and be and be on guard." Leo didn't speak rudely he was just concerned because he didn't know where he was or how he had got there.

"I will be back in just a second." Flying towards the top of the trees Leonardo would get a survey of the island by looking at it from above. He didn't know what to expect but from the little he had seen so far he knew that anything was possible. Cautiously he climbed higher knowing that Ikari would keep an eye below.

Shinichi was glad to see the other person stuck with him on this island wake up, Shinichi knew that even if the person had not woken up he would have brought him with him, and he would have affected Shinichi's already limited mobility, his heart was far too golden for situations like these, so he let out a sigh of relief as the person got to his feet and started to walk. With a stroke of luck he managed to get to his feet as well and follow him I don't know where we are, I can't see through this damn rain! he squinted and held his hand above his eyes to keep the rain out of them We could go into one of those things over there, they look like buildings! I can't tell though!

Ikari would stare up towards the trees as she lay on the ground, slowly waking up. Moving her hand out towards the ground, she would feel the wet grass and the semi-solid form of the mud that was around them. Slowly sitting up, Ikari would look towards Leonardo. At least she had awoken next to someone that she had actually met before. The situation could have been much worse had she awoken next to someone that she did not know, or even by herself. Ikari suddenly thought of waking next to a marine and shuddered. So much blood. Shaking her head slightly, she would slowly stand up onto both of her feet. At this time, Leo would tell Ikari that he would be right back and would float upwards. As he did this, Ikari would nod and begin to look about at her environment.

Looking upwards, Ikari would notice the green light emanating from the trees. At first, Ikari thought that is was just emanating from the leaves but then looked about and saw that it was also emanating from the entirety of the trees. Beginning to move, Ikari would notice something about herself. She was slightly weaker than before. This had very little impact on her but if this continued, it could become dangerous. Finding some way out of the forest would be a good start, possibly seeing if they could find other people. Looking about more, Ikari would begin to see the green specks of dust hanging in the air. Looking at them, Ikari would stretch out her hand, attempting to rub one of them between the middle/index fingers and thumb of her right hand.

Pyro walked slowly upon his startling wake. Thunder and lightning was all around him. He could move faster flying, but even to he it seemed risky. He noticed a path, but he did not follow it. He felt as if he was missing something. Much to his enlightenment, he noticed desais nearby, thanks to the light from the flashing shocks. He had recently been an enemy to desais. They at the very least new each other's abilities, to some extent. Of course, he had signifigantly improved since they last met.

"Oi, Desais! Get your ass over here before I grab it and drag you! Bwahahahaha! I can't see in this damned rain! You need to help me, service dog! Bwahahaha!"

When desais undoubtedly would come over, Pyro would continue to speak on a serious note.

"I've become significantly stronger since we last met. How about you? We'll need to catch up to speed on what we can do before we fight again."

He started walking down the path, he could see vaguely through the blur of wind and rain, but the flashes of light helped to guide him, and now doubt desais was right by him.

Gale looked back at as the other person followed him. It was good that at least he had someone he could spend the horrible situation with. It made things a little bit... less excruciating. Gale still had his doubts though, was this person a friend or a foe? He truly had no way of knowing. To know, he would just have to trust him though. He payed attention to him and noticed that he was trying to say something... A complaint about the rain, it seemed. Yes, well, he completely agreed to that statement. This damned rained hardly let him see where he was standing. It seemed completely unnatural! There was nowhere in the world he had been where it rained that hard.

Letting the other figure approach him, he stood very close to him in order to listen to what he had to say. It was definitely a male voice, which was good to know, for starters. Chivalry wouldn't be something he had to worry about if the other one was a guy. The guy suggested that they should explore what seemed to be buildings in the distance.

"This fucking rain, I can't even tell how close those shadows are." -Gale exlcaimed, reflecting upon his statement.

But he thought that it would be a good idea to try that plan out. Nothing could be worse than staying in the middle of the rain and mud... especially with those strange flashes of green lightning. Whatever was getting cooked up in this island... it was utterly creepy. The town seemed abandoned... or at least he couldnt hear, see or sense anyone nearby, or any light that wasn't the one from the lightning.

"Let's speed up the pace, but patiently. This damned mud won't let us run."

The Night of the Apocalypse Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Night of the Apocalypse    The Night of the Apocalypse Icon_minitimeTue May 13, 2014 10:19 pm

Post Stalking:

Iken & Kenshin at the North Side
As Iken walked through the graveyard with a knocked out body on his shoulders. The sound of lightning and the sensation of water hitting the face in fast winds continued to 'torment' Iken as he walked further down the graveyard. The mushness of the ground didn't get any worse, but it didn't get better either. The further he walked through the brighter the glowing of the graveyard became. Suddenly, as Iken walked through the terrain, a hand popped out of a grave without a tombstone to attempt to grab Iken's foot. The hand was sudden, and through the mud. It glowed faintly, like the ground surrounding the corpse. The sweat around the body, through, or the liquid spewing from it, was definitely glowing a brighter green. About thirty zombies all together showed themselves around the two. However, the graves around the thirty bodies also started to rustle. About one thousand bodies were activated at once. A lightning bolt hit the ground about a mile away. The zombies had 20% in all stats, making them 10% in agility and speed on their legs in the mud. The zombies all attacked Iken, from his front and sides, to try and kill him. They aimed to bite, scratch (their nails were long enough to cut into his skin) and pummel him till he died.

Ikari & Leonardo in West Side
While Leonardo flew upwards a sudden and unexpected movement of the trees attempted to slap him into the ground. Three of the surrounding trees suddenly grew alive. Their faces, shown by the natural 'cracks' in the bark, looked almost like angry jack o lanterns. The trees that started to move were glowing a lighter green then the others, but it would take someone about 30% tactical intelligence to figure out that the greener trees were the ones that moved. These three trees attempted to surround Ikari and Leonardo and swung their branches to attempt to break their legs, one of the three trees swung his branch at the torso area of the opponent's. His goal was to break their torso. Other trees in the forest started to move around as well.
Tree Stats:

Pyro & Desais in the East Side
While Pyro and Desais walked down the path a sudden crack could be heard from the trail above them. They have walked for about ten minutes now, so running back was no use. Suddenly rocks/boulders started to fall from the sky. It was a rockslide. The only warning to this rockslide was the sound of thunder from above them; right where they had started out. The rocks varied in sizes from four meters to a normal pebble and they all fell in the direction of the men. It's obvious what would happen if the they were hit, and the rockslide was about ten meters long and with a second to make a decision from life or death. The mountain was very tall, so jumping off would be suicide. It's impossible to see the bottom of the mountain, except for the constant lightning that brought brief light over the land (big lightning bolts).

Gale & Shin in the South Side
Nothing seemed to happen. The sound of a girl crying seemed to echo through the town though; that warranted suspicion. One of the houses, with a special amount of green moss, seemed to be the culprit of the girl crying. Even a near deaf person could hear her crying. The night seemed very still, and the lightning seemed to only intensify around their area. If the lightning hits one of them their endurance will decrease by 10%. If their endurance reaches 0% they will be knocked out. If they end up with less then 0% total endurance they'll die. A giant lightning bolt hit the ground about a mile away. It was loud enough to echo through the entire south side of the island.

PostSubject: Re: The Night of the Apocalypse    The Night of the Apocalypse Icon_minitimeWed May 14, 2014 2:57 am

Iken examined the strange foes coming at him, they out numbered him greatly. Yet, even with all of them coming at him at once, Iken didn't panic. Iken just stood there calmly analyzing them as they approached him. From their movements, Iken could see even in the mud he'd be faster than them. They didn't seem to fair any better in the mud than Iken did, so that at least combined with the space confinement around Iken limited the number he had to deal with at once. Not that it matter to someone like Iken. Thirty or even fifty of them, Iken was confident he could handle them. A powerful force of sheer spirit and will power extended in a twenty meter radius around Iken. The power of the spirit even pushed back the rain for a moment. However even with the showy display, the feet didn't accomplish what it's master had wanted. The strange dead human like creatures were still coming at him.

"Well, whatever. I suppose it can't be helped anymore." Iken said gripping his blade. "Curse of the Puppet Master" he mumbled under his breath as he drew his blade, the Cursed Crusade. "Act One: Dark King Kenpachi" Iken swung his blade, faster than most could see. In one second he had struck out eighteen times. Each slice of the blade was powerful enough to de-limb and dispatch a zombie with relative ease as long as it hit. The grade of Iken's sword combined with his skill caused a strange phenomenon rarely seen. Iken as he was slashing away at the zombies was slicing individual drops of rain that crossed the path of his blade. "Act Two: Second Coming: Dark King Kenpachi" Tossing his blade into the air, Iken drew his second and proceeded to attack. Another eighteen strikes with enough skill to fillet the on-coming hoard. The fact that his speed, strength, and skill was on another level from the enemy it allowed it to get them before they could get to him. "Third Act: Two Hands of the Cursed Puppet" Iken sheathed his second blade as he caught the one he had thrown into the air. He took his blade into both of his hands gripping it tightly. Iken used the final attack to finish off any lingering foe's the first two of the sequence had not. This attack allow him up to twelve controlled slashes. After Iken was finished he would continue down the path, and cut down whatever got in his path.

(( seems like the long ass post i actually made didnet post ))
kenshin woke up and sat up in the mud looking around. His hand immediately did go to his gun when he noticed he was in unknown surroundings what was this a trap set by vengeful pirates? And what was was tht fighting he heard allthough it was hard to confirm due to the rain. Sighing he stood up and flexed a little it appeard that nothing was broken or damaged atleast that was good. He started to walk and looked around at the same time tere wasn't much he could tell about the area other than the obvious facts. It was raining and hard too; so hard in fact that he could barely see in front of himself. He did however go slowly towards the noise of a fight with both his guns drawn incase something would try attack him

Shinichi started to follow after his companion, the buildings seemed abandoned to him as well, as he couldn't see, hear or sense anyone either, but that was just because of the rain, they probably wouldn't be able to tell that a marching band was coming until they were a few yards away. He had only hear half of what Gale said, only the part about speeding up the pace, so he started to carefully run, only to fall over and splatter mud all over the place. He groaned and got too his feet, he suddenly realized how he could get the mud off his body. He vibrated the area of his arm from his elbow to the hand, getting the mud in that area off of him.

As he walked he vibrated more off his body with the same area as his first vibration, shaking more mud off of the areas he was vibrating, it was frustratingly slow since he could only vibrate his body at a limited rate. Just as he got the last of the mud off of him he heard a weird sound, he focused on the sound and realized that it was the sound of someone crying... a girl Hey, stop! Do you hear that he waited a few seconds so that his companion could listen out just in case he hadn't heard before talking again Where do you reckon that is? Should we try and find her? he partially hoped that they would, he didn't feel good not helping people. Besides, if she was inside, they would be finding shelter as well as helping someone, two bird, one stone.

Desais had to take a double look at Pyro. He didn't recognize at first glance, but thanks to the lightning he was able to see him. "Sup Pyro! How's it been?" Desais said as he continued his walk down the side of the mountain. The lightning flashed quite a bit here and there but luckily it hadn't struck near the two of them. The thunder seemed to rumble to rumble the ground around them. "Man there is no easy way down this mountain is there...." Desais said as he continuously looked at his surroundings. The only thing he could see was what the lightning allowed. Which was far but only for a split second.

Desais saw no way down from the side of the mountain since the fog coated a layer from the side of the mountain down. But Desais did notice some pebbles that hit his feet. He wasn't certain if it was from the rumble of the thunder or something else though. "Hey Pyro, do you feel that? If so, is that just from the thunder?" Desais asked as he looked around the area, including up the mountain. He noticed something moving down towards him, and this made him move faster. "PYRO!" Desais screamed as he ran a bit faster down the trail.

Not sure of why tree moved the way it did Leo spun his Naginata as he did this the sheaths flew off dropping to forest floor had he had the time to think about it Leo would have floated them the sheaths but that didn't matter right now.  Using the momentum from the spin the Naginata's blade crashed in the trees branch protecting Leo from a direct hit. Because it was so dark Leo could not tell what kind of damage was received.  The force of the collision still sent him closer the ground he didn't fight it instead he continued his descent in order help Ikari and work through this trial as team.

In times like this it would be useful to make living things float.  But there was no point in wishing for the impossible.  Closer to ground Leo could now tell that several trees had started to move but it didn't seem like all of them.  Was it that they couldn't move or chose not to Leo couldn't tell. Between Leo's agility, flight ability, and speed the trees branches were easily dodged by fly over and around them weaving as the branches swung.  He tried to keep out its reach. He could not maintain this indefinitely should they get surrounded Leo would be stuck.  We have to get out of this forest..  Leo didn't say this out loud because it was rather obvious.

"Do you have any attack that well help?"
Leo was hopeful but not desperate partnerships only worked when both sides contributed.  Frowning he knew that was own inhibility to deal with this situation solo that made him need ask for assistance.  If you can damage a large branch at its base I can cut through it. Then float the branch to help defend us."  Leo said this while flying foot off the ground trying keep away from the trees with out leaving Ikari behind.

Pyro haeard his partner. Remembering his experiences with dirge, he turned into the phoenix full form. His improved agility made it quite easy for him to fly low enough to the ground that he would not be harmed by the earth, and less risky to be struck by lightning than even before. He zoomed, gravity in his favor, and stuck his head between Desais's legs. He flapped once, closing his wings around his head and then flipping them back, which would pull Desais's legs near his tail feathers. Expecting Desais to grab on, Pyro intended to dive across the path, low and quick, as he was rather frightened of the prospect of being struck with electricity.

Flying down the winding path, he realized he hadn't focused on the rocks. He suspected Desais would handle the steering in that regard. If not, he just hoped the path lead somewhere decent. Luckily, he wasn't getting tired. With gravity on his side, he didn't need much effort. Hopefully, obstacles didn't show up. Even with great agility, with a man on his back and gaining speed with little control it did seemed unlikely he'd be able to dodge something. Pyro hopes desaid had ridden an animal before. Maybe he wouldn't crash afterall.

The Night of the Apocalypse Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Night of the Apocalypse    The Night of the Apocalypse Icon_minitimeSun May 18, 2014 11:33 pm

Gale and the man who was close to him were very close to a house that had a very weird amount of the supernatural green moss that appeared to be almost everywhere in minimal quantities. Suddenly a cry cut through the rain... it shook Gale's insides. They barely could hear each other talk but they could hear this strange cry through the downpour. How interesting... How puzzling. How scary. Apparently his companion was now asking him to stop, the chef though he had screamed this, because he could hear it clearly.

"What is it?" - he responded, and listened. Of course he had to suggest that they went and looked for that girl. Gale was really not that keen on the idea... especially because the cries seemed to come from that house that was covered in that green moss that really creeped him out. Even if they went near that, he wasn't going to touch that green moss. Just no. It was too creepy.

"Hey, I dont really know if we should go there... it seems really scary." - Gale looked around himself... of course he saw nothing. He was drenched, he was cold and the damned rain didnt let him see. He was startled by lightning hitting about a mile away from them... that scary green lightning.- "But alright, fine. Let's try to find that girl. But I dont expect me to give my life away for her..."

Inside though, Gale did thought they had to save her if she was trapped or something like that.

The Night of the Apocalypse Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Night of the Apocalypse    The Night of the Apocalypse Icon_minitimeMon May 19, 2014 4:40 am

:
Iken & Kenshin at the North Side
Iken cut through the zombies, but something odd happened. He cut arms, legs, torsos, and some heads, but not enough of them were heads. The zombies, even after losing a leg or limb, continued to run towards him and managed to grab his legs and arms with their strength, most of them attempted to bite him (this will crush muscles and bones). Instead of blocking he attacked, which made him fair prey to all of the surviving zombies reaching him. The zombies that lost legs, or the lower half of their bodies, crawled towards him with their superior strength, so like spiders, and grabbed on to Iken's legs while the others that lost their arms grabbed Iken's arms. Out of the thirty zombies ten were killed by beheading and twenty were left with handicaps. The ones that were beheaded were left on the ground without movement. However, the rain is so deep that Iken will have a very hard time seeing the bodies on the ground, or the state of those bodies. The gunner, Kenshin, walked around this carnage. In his steps about forty zombies emerged from the graveyards around him. About ten of those forty ran towards Iken while he was held down by the other zombies while thirty ran towards Kenshin. The graves around the graveyard started to rumble as a shadow figure appeared above Iken's head. It had wings, and showed an hourglass-like curvature and long hair. The figure watched Iken fight but no expression showed in the area that was its face. This shadow was 10 meters above Iken.

Ikari & Leonardo in the West Side
The trees hit Leonardo, but he blocked it and almost hit the ground. Enough pressure was applied in that strike to at least give an average man some broken bones, but since Leo was flying this effect was much less severe on him. The trees did manage to hit Ikari though. She was sent flying into a nearby tree. The force of the attack would normally break a person's ribs, but for Ikari it did little more then give her a concussion. She did have a bruise in that area though. Two of the trees headed towards Leo and attacked, together, at his torso and legs. The trees used all of their branches as arms, so a total of twelve thick branches (six on each tree) attempted to strike the opponent. In the distance they could probably hear a whistle. A man carrying a large rifle walked down the forest but was a few dozen meters from the opponents. A lot of trees separated them so nobody could see his face just yet. He wore a metallic mask with tiny holes around the facial area and what looked like a diamond neck. He had a long cloak that belonged to the military, but it was tattered and ripped. In the back the title "Captain" was written. About four pistols were located around his waist.

Pyro & Desais in the East Side
With Pyro's quick thinking he managed to avoid some of the bigger rocks that could have caused severe internal bleeding. After grabbing Desais and flying forward the only real problem was the rockslide that was over thirty feet long (10 meters). Rocks inevitably hit both Desais and Pyro from the top of the mountain, and it would leave bruises for Desais and Pyro. The important part is the giant boulders that missed them on the way down. This is assuming Desais looks around and manages to maneuver Pyro to avoid hits. If Desais doesn't do this then a giant boulder will crush both Pyro and Desais. Pyro's internal organs will get crushed in the process, meaning an instant death if it reached his head. On the other side of the trail was a very big and muscular body. It had claws and fur around its body. The creature was a very large moleman that weighs 500 pounds easily. He was nine feet tall, but most of the height was his upper body. His head wore a helmet with holes in the front that's made of steel, and his neck is protected by a thick diamond collar.

Gale & Shin in the South Side
Gale and Shin walked inside the house. Upon walking inside a creaking sound echoed through the room. The sound of the crying girl only grew louder the deeper they went inside the house. When they walk inside the source of the crying a little girl is seen crying in a position where her arms are holding her knees. She has long black hair and grey skin. When the creaking sound of their footsteps gets inside the room she suddenly turns around showing an abnormally long mouth, white eyes, and a horrid expression showing death from many years ago, "AAAAAAAAAGGHH!!!!" she shrieked. Within moments she immediately turned around and ran towards the opponents with incredible speed. Her hands suddenly grew claws and her feet started to sprint. She was trying to gut whichever person decided to go in the room first. Outside zombies started to pop out from the ground. They continued to move towards the unsuspecting travellers and surrounding the house. Lightning coursed through the skies but none of it touched the ground. About fifty zombies manages to surround the house. One person stood behind them with a giant sword. He wore heavy armor and a helmet with steel around the head and diamond around the neck. His armor was made of steel.

The Night of the Apocalypse Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Night of the Apocalypse    The Night of the Apocalypse Icon_minitimeTue May 20, 2014 12:28 am

As the zombies latched on to Iken's arms and legs, he trashed about trying to break free. From that simple movement, he could tell that he was physically stronger than them; if only a bit. They kept coming and coming even as Iken had hacked limbs off of them. It was as if they felt no pain whatsoever. There were a few that had even been sliced in half that crawled towards him, ever defiant of his efforts to defend himself. Using the zombies that held onto his arms as leverage, Iken kicked off of the ones going for his legs launching his legs into the air. Iken's feet crashed down onto the halved zombies. Ducking down Iken forced his arms out of the zombies' grip by slipping out of his captain's coat.

"Dark King's Steel Hard Appendage"

Iken sliced out at the zombies' legs trying to create a path, a small opening, a chance to escape. Using the fallen zombies for traction Iken ran out of the middle of the group in an attempt to change the battlefield to his favor, if only to change it a little. As the rain poured down and the lightning flashed, Iken could see small glimpses of what was around him. There was another man being attacked by another group of zombies. The worst part of the situation there was a weird creature hovering over him. While ten more of beasts ran at him as they dug themselves out of their graves.

As Iken was looking around, the situation made it seem like he was stuck between a rock and a hard place. Iken looked around for something, anything that could help him deal with the threat at hand. He could see zombies coming at him with missing limbs and fatal wounds to their chests as well as ones that had been sliced in half. There were a few, which appeared to actually be dead. What was the difference? Iken had sliced them like he had the others, he didn't use haki so it couldn't be that they were logia type. The way they took damage wasn't right either, at least not for a logia.

Iken was sloshing through the mud trying to keep ahead of the zombies when it dawned on him. Maybe it wasn't how he attack, but where he attacked. Most the ones that had stayed down, were hit in the head or neck region. It was at least a shot, a long shot, and shot in the dark; but at least it was a chance. Iken came to a skidding halt and turned towards the oncoming army of foes. It was now or never.

"Curse of the Puppet Master. Act One, Two, and Three: Two Hands of the Cursed Puppet"

Iken took his blade and aimed for the head and neck region trying to decapitate the creatures that charged towards him. His blades would have been able to slice through the zombies with very little effort. Once he had attacked twelve times he tossed his blade into the air to draw his second blade and attack twelve more. As the zombies advanced Iken sheathed his sword, the seastone blade. It looked as if he was about to be caught without a weapon. Just then the blade he had thrown in the air came down and cleaved one of the zombies' head in half. Iken pulled out the sword and began the third phase of his attack. Twelve more attacks, each one with the power to dispatch his undead foes.

Luckily Leo had held his weapon loosely enough that his arms weren't damaged from the tree surprisingly strong strike yet firm enough that his weapon didn't fly from his hands.  With his superior agility and speed Leo was able to avoid being struck further on his way down towards the ground.  As he weaved in and out of the way of the tree he grew ever closer to Ikari.  She had seemingly taken those hits and was still alive, unharmed.  Leo had noticed that the trees were attempt to trap him between them. Using his superior agility and speed, as long as he was flying he would remain faster than the trees, Leo quickly moved through the gap that remain before they could enclose him.

With some effort Leo heard the whistling but wasn't sure what to make of it.  It could be just a natural sound from nature, another obstacle and trick of the island, or even another person.  But regardless waiting would get the pair no where and dead.  Flying towards the whistling he flew in 'U' pattern with ending up behind the source of the whistle. For this endeavor he would using Ikari as a distraction or bait depending on what they found. She would be perfectly suit for this because she endure more than Leonardo could. And Leonardo could attack from behind, above, or just retreat if need be.

Shinichi, most unlike his companion, did not seem bothered by the aspect of having to touch green moss, if it meant helping someone he did not mind too much. It wouldn't have bothered him anyway, he didn't mind getting dirty in any situation, if he was going to be a pirate he shouldn't be bothered by such insignificant things. If he was irritated by his companion complaining, even slightly, he did not show it in his face, but he was visibly glad that the man decided to help find the girl. He smiled and walked into the house. As they entered, Shin heard a large eerie creaking sound, this was not a good sign.

Shin and his companion walked through the house, the sound of crying became louder the closer they got to her location. When they arrived in the room, Shin's first instinct was to move towards the girl to try and comfort her, but this soon turned out to be a mistake as the girl turned out to be some kind of weird creature with a huge mouth and a terrifying look on her face. He cried out in surprise and stumbled backwards, away from the creature, it gave out an ear splitting shriek and charged at him. It was way too fast for him to completely avoid the attack, but he was able to move back enough that he was not killed by the attack. He fell to the ground and looked up at the extremely scary girl, if Gale didn't help him he would likely be killed.

Desais, caught by surprise when lifted up into the air, quickly held on and climbed to Pyro's back. He knew that the boulders were coming and if they were to get out of the way of them, Desais was to steer Pyro a bit. He attempted to steer away from the boulders the best he could. It was definitely a close one for the both of them. They barely just got by the biggest of the boulders. "Phew, that would have definitely sucked for the both of us." Desais said with a sigh of relief, but the danger had yet to be over.

As they finished avoiding the bigger rocks, Desais noticed something bigger up ahead. Something that they couldn't just fly away from. A giant man with a lot of fur around his body. The helmet he wore was definitely spooky. This would be a tough fight, but Desais was ready for it. Desais pulled out his two swords as he prepared for a fight.

Ikari would watch in wonder as the tree in front of her began to move. Dropping the piece of dust that she had gathered on the tips of her finger, Ikari would watch in amazement to the fact that a tree had just moved. She ignored the fact that the tree may have just possibly killed or heavily injured the only person she was with at this time and focused on the tree. However, at this point Ikari did not see the horizontal strike towards her abdomen and was caught completely unaware. Due to this, Ikari was thrown from her current position directly into another tree. Ikari lost her breath as she hit the iron hard tree and looked forward back towards the tree that hit her.

Ikari saw Leonardo fighting off a few of the trees by himself. Shaking her head lightly, Ikari unlock her right hand from her wrist and take a hold of it with her left hand. Raising her right arm in the direction of the moving trees, Ikari would glare at them for a moment before unleashing a Stable Missile straight towards them. If the initial damage of a cannonball-hit strength didn't damage them enough, hopefully the fire that was released from them would cause some more significant damage. As Leonardo flew past her, Ikari would lock her right hand back into place, glancing at him. Under her breath, Ikari would mutter;
"Coward."

Pyro was relieved when desais had showed enough control over him to avoid the rocks. He still had linger to live afterall. Desais's steering and his agility pulled him through. But then, he noticed desais prepare for battle. As he got closer, he saw that the enemy was ahead. He shifted his weight, reverting to his normal form, and rolled on the ground with desais likely to be right behind him. He got up and drew his cutlass. He was prepared to fight, albeit poorly with bad perception.

"So desais, what's the plan?"

Pyro flipped his pistol in his hand and placed it back into place. He didn't want to battle so quickly after flying as fast as he had. He was still a little dizzy, afterall. The terrain wasn't in his favor either, being wet and open as it was. How was he to fight like this? He had no idea.
