History:

Born on an extremely cold Island, in the North Ocean to a Alhan and Kay Ruler. Alhan, was a bounty hunter by birth, and passed many of his traits to his son, but his mother taught him to be cautious. After the age of five, Alex would join Alhan on small bounties, learning the ropes of the trade his father worked so hard to build. He managed to successfully bring in his first target at the age of eight, after several failed attempts.

At the age of twelve, Alex found and ate the Hie Hie no Mi.
After some training, he realized he could control the abilities the fruit gave him. It was around this time that he earned the nickname White Fang of The North, after mastering his favorite Devil Fruit Technique: Kori Fang. The technique aided Alex in disabling three pirate crews that the Marines couldn't stop. At the age of thirteen, Alex was sent to a neighboring island to aid in the capture of thieves. While away, Pirates belonging to the Marauder Band Crew, ransacked Alex's home island, killing everyone on the island, living Alex's mother for dead. When Alex returned him to find his homeland's normally white snow, red from the bloodshed, he immediately rushed home, praying his mother and father were still alive. He found his mother, lying in a pool of her blood. She coughed and told him what happened and informed him that the Marauder's took his father. Before she died, Kay requested that Alex put everything his father ever taught him to use, along with his newfound Devil Fruit Power to track down and rescue his father. Kay died in his hands as Alex vowed to avenge her death. He knew his father was capable of taking of himself, but also new that in the pirating world, the more time spent figuring out where the Pirates are hiding, the less time you lose fighting the pirates. Alex picked up his father's katana and sheath, attaching the blade across his waist behind his back.

He threw open his father's study and began ransacking the files for any clues as to why Marauder Band Pirates would want his father alive. Searching through all the files, Alex found that his father had tracked and killed Captain Marauder's brother, and arrested his wife five years ago. Alex tucked the files into his backpack, along with all of his belongings. Using his Devil Fruit powers, he returned the blood-red snow to white, and ventured off to the neighboring island he had been on when the attack took place. He would begin his training and vowed to look into every Marauder Case he could.

By the age of 15, Alex had become something of an expert strategist.
He began training by himself to strategize different attack patterns for different types of targets. An old sailor by the name of Hikaru, took Alex under his wing and helped Alex master the way of the katana and even aided Alex in combining his devil fruit powers with the katan and learning a new technique that became dubbed, Ice Blade, where Alex coated his katana with a thin layer of ice that would freeze what ever it sank into. Training for three years, Alex never came closer to discovering the whereabouts of his father until he returned to his home Island to find a letter from his father. It read: "Seek The Grande Line, Marauder's Are heading There,"

After speaking with the neighboring island's mayor, Alex learned he would need help to reach the Grande Line, but the Marines were looking for him to join their ranks seeing as how he was so much better at tracking them. When he refused, and fought off the attempts of bringing him in, Alex mockingly called himself The White Fang of The North, Pirate Bounty Hunter for Hire. His first, unfinished job was tracking down the Marauders. His first official job, finding a crew to help him.

Personality: Laid back, but extremely dedicated to his family and friends. Not easily angered, but hot tempered when anger sets in. Anger doesn't cloud his judgement often. Kind hearted, to an extent, Alex values life but holds the bounty closer to his heart. The needs of someone with less than he has, comes first. Alex has often been caught stealing from the rich to give to the poor, in an almost Robin Hood satire when he is between contracts.
