Serious: [Itsuwaribito Pirates: Chapter 1] Shuu Island Predicament: Kamikaze's Takeover (Amari only)

Shunori dropped to the ground as he reached the end of thebtoen and passed the "You are now leaving Monday" Sign as he headed towards the private property that his campsite was built on and was actually not very surprised to see that his whole camp had been search and destroyed. His extra pair of clothes were torn and damaged, his horse was nowhere to be seen or heard. His tent was shreds. And the chemicals in which he used to create and mix things with to make explosives and or knockout gas and piosons were scattered all over the site. Frowning, he scavenged the place and picked up what he could save then looked for food but there was not even a crumb left. Abandoning the sight, he picked up a small bag full of ingredients like spices and another that held the chemicals before slipping them into his cloak. Now he HAD to find another place to stay but he wasnt sure as to where...Looking back at the city, he guessed he might as well return..

The Major watch with wariness as he watch Usono take the shop keeper to a much more exculsive alley, wondering what the boy would be doing to the poor shopkeeper (no matter how much he deserve it; no many people really like the shopkeeper really since he always tries to con people out of their money) but knowing the Itsuwaribito- it's anything but good or friendly.
Hesitantly, he walked over to the very same alley and peeked a little seeing that Usono had the shopkeeper up against the wall- before waking him up by putting some smelling salts under his nose.
The Major could see an immediate reaction coming from the shopkeeper; who squirms and struggled as if he had been caught by a monster (which is probably not so far from the truth). Mouse could see the fear in the other's eyes and how pale his skin is. He's also sweating a river at the same time, his eyes darting left to right out of nervousness.
Now that the Major had look at Usono.... the obi-wearing teen looks rather horrifying in the shadows right there, his eyes actually more open than usual, showing his small white eyes that are shining rather eerie.

"Talk. What are they planning...?"

It looks as if that the shopkeeper was planning to keep his mouth and not tell anything but the dark smirk that is forming on the other's mouth quickly change his mind, especially when he chuckled a rather dark chuckle that promises death if he doesn't do anything quick.

The shopkeeper then blurt out everything there is about the plan that the pirates are making.
Both the Major's and the Itsuwaribito's eyes widen.

The Pirates were planning to destroy the town and rebuild it up to Casino, one of the biggest in East Blue. Not only that- they planned to destory the townpeople along with the town- and the survivors would have to act like slaves soon after. They try to go after the archer because they thought that the archer had heard of their plan.

After the shopkeeper had admitted the whole plan, Usono threw the other toward the major and ran.......... the major drop his jaw as he notice that Usono is going directly towards the townhall where the pirates are residing...
"W-Wait, Usono, where are you going-"

"What do you think, old man?"
Mouse shivered when he see the practically mischevious, yet unforgiving expression on his face. Though his eyes are back to being narrowed to the point that you couldn't see his pupils, you can tell how dark and menacing they are.
"I'm going to give them a Karmic backlash- like I planned to do in the beginning~"
"In the beginning-!? Wait!"

But Usono was then already gone- giving the pirates a "Karmic backlash".
Mouse sweated as he didn't know what to do, the townspeople, who gather up around the major to see the beaten up shopkeeper who kept trying to escape but was always pinned down by some of the other's town people.
The pieces fit together in the Major's mind as he remembered something very crucial. The town is going to be destroyed- and the people aren't going to be spared.

"Everyone, run to the forest!!" Everyone looks at their major in confusion, not sure why he would tell them such an order. "The Pirates are going to destroy our town without any regard to who is still in town!"
At what he said, everyone instantly believe him because it would be something that the pirates would've done- they're just that cruel enough.
"Tell everyone! Get everyone out of here!!!"

Everyone went to do just that- except in a more stampeding manner as if the world is about to end. In one way, it kinda is; since they are about to be taken away from the world.

The Major run around trying to get everyone to safety till the remembers Usono.
The boy ran off to defend against the pirates. That idiotic boy who doesn't know the meaning of knowing if your oppoent is stronger than you!! There is no way he could defend himself against them!!

As the Major usher everyone into the forest, at the entrance keeping an account on the people who are trying to get out of town so that they could be safe, he saw a familar white hair and a flash of recognition appeared on his face. He had the same hair color as Usono but the hair style is obviously different.
....maybe the boy...!

"Oi, you there with the white-hair!!" Major said as he ran over to the archer with looks of desparation.

Shunori blinked as he spotted the children from the alley running out of the town with the rest of the townspeople. Confused but also not exactly surprised, since he had figured something strange was going on, he watched as they stepped away, giving him a taut wave as they passed. The white haired teen moved out of the way of the passing people, unsure of what to make of the situation and if he should move along with the rest of the people. Shunori was just about to take off with the others when he spotted the old man among the others. He wasn't too familiar with him but he had seen him before for a glance with the strange teenager Usuno but had never really noticed him before. Stopping as it was clear he was being called, he raises an eyebrow at the tone and he joined the old man, avoiding bumping into a passing family.

"What do you want, sir?"

The major didn't waste any time telling the other what he wanted to say.
"Usono, that baka!!" He exclaims in an outrage as he couldn't believe the other's impulsive reaction!! Just because he had change and have his guardian's obi doesn't mean he's strong like the proceeding owner of the white obi. "You're strong, right? Please, help that child and stop him from making a stupid mistake!!"

Usono grinned as he already took care of the small shrimps that are outside, supposedly suppose to guard the town hall but they are rather easy with a lie here and a lie there and some well place chemicals and bombs......
But it was rather easy to get in and to make it even more worse, he left a trail of bodies at his wake..... Wow, he must be really angry; though his expression full of mischief and the fox-like smile is still there- it looked darker than usual.

He let one guy go though: only for the purpose of getting him to show where his boss is.
"Senchou!!!!" The guy who Usono had let go in purpose barged into the room without thinking of the consequences

Shunori blinked and he couldn't help but sigh. Why should he have to go after that strange idiot? Couldn't the old man do it or find someone else? Seeing as how everyone was leaving and the old man had clearly been the one to tell them to leave and then come solely to him. Shunori couldn't help but find this all to be very troublesome but his sense of justice just couldn't let it go on. He gave the old man a curt nod and looked to the town with a calculating expression and figured that the most likely place that Usuno would be headed is the place where the head hancho would be. Gripping his bow, he ran off, soon hopping onto the fence that seperated the farms and then he jumped to the roofs and hopped from building to building heading to Usuno's aid.

It didn't take long nor did it really concede that he was in any way at the wrong building. The sight of the people who were unconscious outside were sign enough to give signal to Shunori that the strange teen was inside the building, heading further in, he couldn't help but frown at Usuno's handiwork with all the bodies lying around uselessly and in the way. But I'd did serve as a tracking device and he quickly ran through the halls and rooms, following the trail of men.

The major sigh in relief as he watches the white haired archer actually going to help Usono. He wasn't if the guy would help Usono; seeing that they probably don't know each other or that there probably isn't a reason as to why the archer should help Usono but he was glad nonetheless despite the reason.
As he made sure to evacuate the village as quickly as he could, he couldn't help but think of the Kitsune pirates back then. Usono is just like the captain, maybe even worse. He prayed for the child's safety: for there is no way he could fight those pirates so easy.

Sadly, the major have no clue how strong Usono had gotten: because of the fact that the old man still thought that Usono is still a child. But...

As soon as the subordinate that he let free was about to annouce him, Usono made sure kick him in the face and render him unconscious as he let the whole room -full of pirates but much stronger than the pieces of dead wood outside- see who he is with his big grin and slight sadistic chuckle complimented with his fox-like face. His obi flow freely behind his back like a flickering tail as he made an innocent type of smile towards both the unconscious man and the pirates in the room, including the captain.

"Opps, excuse me..." He said as he put his foot down from the position he was in kicking the other. "My foot slip."
It was an obvious lie but his face did not give anything away. Let the game begin.

The captain looked away from one of the lesser pirates that he was talking to and turned to the stance obi-wearing kid that stood at his door after knocking out his secretary with a quick kick. The man couldn't help but chuckle. The kid was strong...very stronge but he was certaintly moths match for the boss.
"Indeed, quite a ways I must admit."

Shunori ran up the stairs and down confusing hallways, passing uncounscious men who were still groaning and moaning from the pain. The white haired archer drew a arrow on the bow and cautiously approached the open door where he could sense and hear plenty of people talking inside. One of which voices he did recall meeting once upon a time on an abandoned old street with a passed out shopkeeper. He stepped inside the room quietly, an arrow pointing immediately at the ceiling.
"If a person dare moves from their spot, I'll send this arrow up into the air, it has a bomb that explodes a gas that will burn your eyes right out of your skull. Nobody. Dares. To. Move."
The men around the room froze, not quite terrified but warned and wary of the second kid that walked through the door. the captain smirked slightly, finding this all terribly interesting. Shunori glanced to the other teen right in front of him. If he was telling the truth and if he did shoot the arrow, he wasn't sure if he would be able to pull him outbof the room quick enough to avoid other escapes. Not moved by sympathy, he passed along in a quiet whisper to Usuno.
"He isn't the real captain, you won't him here so easily. He stakes out in the tallest building in the town. The monastery. So he can see all that happens within his territory. Create a distraction and we will leave quietly."

Usono made no indication that he was surprise to see the archer here appearing with the bow with explosives on the end. In fact, he looks as of he expected something like that to happen, chortling slight as he saw how easily everyone tense at the sight of it. These people are gullible; they didnt understand that there is no way he would shoot the bomb because of the fact that he implied that he would blow all of them. If he blows all of them up, that means he blows both Usono and himself. The guy looks like a self-sacrificing type of person but he doubts that he's that self-sacrificing.

Hearing what the other said about that captain not being here and that the rest are just small fries did not surprise him at all. He did his fair share of research on the guy running this town and he knows that the captain isn't the type to be so out in the open and upfront like this. He rather just watch all his subordinate die.
That and he knows that the captain holds a mysterious like stance.
And none of these shrimps are relatively mysterious at all!! It kinda put him in a damper mood because being mysterious sounds actually cool.

Well, he was planning to just take care of the little weight before going for the big money but to checkmate, you must get rid of your king.

"Ohhh?~" Usono questioned with sadistic-like amusement, his face obviously saying that he already knew that. Then again, his face could he lying also. "Then I guess we could use this~"
Usono then pulled out a small, round, black ball in between his fingers. Where he get it, no one knows due to the fact that he looks like he pulled it out of nowhere.
"Smokescreen."

Shunori kept the arrow steady, saying nothing as he looked over the people in the room. No one was moving and the subordinate just stood there and smirked among them. Their next move was predictable and the white haired teen couldn't help but hate the fact that he was leaving the people in here at large but he doubted that there was much they could get out of them anymore. Glancing to the boy beside him, he didn't give a nod because the people would surely notice.
"Traditional works as well as ever."
He whispered back, waiting for the cue.

The man stared at the town building with narrowed eyes. He stared out the window, eyes fueled with a hidden anger but his face was composed. He was furious with how his people could hold up. There were only two children. Strong children but still children none the less. He was angry and beside himself, but he also knew that it wouldn't be long till the children showed up at his door.

Usono snickered as he twirl the ball around his fingers, knowing well that he is causing the others to look at him with wariness at how he's handling the device. But he could also tell that since they know that he's using smokescreen, they won't be surprise by the smoke and attack them as soon as he throws it down. Both teams will be at a disadvantage since the both of them would not be able to see but the pirates, have the advantage in numbers. If that's the case, then the pirates could easily take care of them.... That is... If Usono was actually using smokescreen...

With a sly grin that fits perfectly on his face, he throws down the smoke screen which instantly covered the room, but as soon as he did, the other began to try and find them to attack.
Usono, already his obi hooked onto the roof for their escape, grabbed the archer, one hand covering the other's mouth, before lifting them up using his obi and away from the cloud of smoke.

If you look closely from the outside, there is something weird about the cloud of smoke. Usually, it would be expanding a lot more and cover the area even more also- but it seemed more restricted to the area of the room where he found the pirates in.

"Nah." He said with a snicker as the cloud disappear, the pirates strangely silent. You can see why since now that the cloud has disappear, you can see the body laying on the ground- asleep. "I was lying." He admitted as he grin his ever fox-like grin.
"It was actually a fast-acting sleeping agent."

Shunori blinked and his eyes widened as a hand clamped over his mouth and he was pulled away from the rising cloud of smoke. It wasn't a smokescreen? Well, he was feeling off about leaving behind a room full of troublesome people and he saw it coming. Didn't the strange teenager say something about itsuwaribito? So lying was a profession. The only thing Shunori would find a problem with is when he was lying and when he was telling the truth. He pulled Usuno's hand off of his face as the cloud dispersed near the ground and he glanced to the other with a blank expression.
"That was...impressive. It was careless though. Let's get moving, if you still want to meet the boss of this whole operation.."
He let go of the arrow and slid it back into the quiver, momentarily leaving Usuno to himself as he walked along the roof rafters and peeked his head out the window and jumped out onto a nearby roof on a neighbor building. He figured that even his talents would be surpassed by the boss. The strange lying itsuwaribito would actually be a great help to him in order to get rid if this strong pirate captain and get him out of this peaceful town. He looked over his shoulder, waiting silently.

Usono chuckles but he did not acknowledge the compliment he received from the other- knowing that what he did is rather impressive and cool.
What? He's allowed to be confident and smug if he wanted to, seeing that he planned everything out from point A to point B. That's just how he is.

Though Usono dislike it when people would tell him what to do, he seemed fine with the prospect of the other telling him where to go and what to do- since he's doing it anyway.
With grace that could only come from years of training, he went ahead towards the monestary, not bothering to wait for the other since he knew that the archer is coming.

Shunori watched Usuno step out and followed the "graceful" man as he made his way to the monastery. The monastery was probably one of the towns oldest buildings with old fashioned roofing and designs. It's architecture seemed to be in a way, gothic. It had great support and has clearly lasted for quite a few years. It was, as said before, the tallest building in the town and probably by far the grandest though because of being old as become less of a tourist route and in a way was abandoned except for the priest who watched over it still. The albino wondered about the old man who still lived there and questioned his survival. Shunori glanced to the itsuwaribito and couldn't help but scoff at his easy going nature. People who tended to be carefree about their situation lead with ignorance and are defeated simply and soon.
Little did the two come to know that the closer they got to the building, the closer they got to the trap that lay around the building as well.

Usono couldn't help but look rather entertained by the choice of location, seeing how typical it is for villains and the like. Why is it do they have to pick such a predictable location? It's cliche and really unoriginal. Though he got to give the guy some props since he has chosen a monastery- not many villains would go to a place like this which is based on faith and God; though Usono admitted that not even he believe in God. But still, to use a place of worship as a hide out... It entertain him slightly- since this is the villain they are talking about. It's like he's challenging the heavens....
But still, the place is gloomy and old looking; it a typical bad guy place. How uncool.

Usono couldn't help but raise an eyebrow as they came closer to the building- though his fox-like expression is still there, full of mischievousness and the like.
He slowed to a walk, allowing the archer, Shunori, to pass him. And as they came closer he couldn't help but chuckle.
He knew that the one pulling the strings knows that they are coming. Usono knew that the guy has been watching them for a while at the townhall where he was making a ruckus. So you would think that there would be guards and other people out to try and stop them on their way here. But no, their journey was completely safe and relatively easy. That's not right for the guy who has been orchestrating the whole "destroy the town!" thing.
The captain is definitely expecting them.
And as Usono saw the front area of the monastery, he felt his grin becoming larger.
So the guy want to play a game of tricks and traps huh? Well, he hoped that the other didn't mind if he plays along~

Bending down, Usono picks up a random stone and twirls it around his finger, stopping as he looks upon the place.

Shunori slowed to a stop, just a few yards away from Usuno and he looked at the man behind him. why did he stop? It wasn't like there was anything stopping them from cojtinueing. Taking this in to consideration, Shunori looked around at the empty vase of spce around them and noticed that there was nothing in the streets. Where were the guards? Were the ones at the town building the only group that the pirate captain owned? Couldn't he if he controlled the whole town...There were traps protecting the place....Shunori couldnt help but sigh at this fact cause that ment they needed to be found and avoiding.
"Have you ever met the boss?"
Shunori asked Usuno, hoping to get a bit of information about the boss to better understand what sort of traps that the man might have placed. To better avoid stepping into one, Shunori backed away from the building by a couple of steps. Unwittingly stepping onto a stone which sunk into the ground about two inches. Blinking in surprise, Shunori heard a rather distinct metal click and rafters in the building split open to let out a large purple cloud of gas that slowly began to sink over thebarea in front of the monastery where he and Usuno stood.

The mysterious man smirked upon the common mistake that the archer made and snickered to himself as he continud to strap himself with weapons. His name was Kamikaze, captain of the Poison Barb Pirates. Having eaten a devil fruit in his time, he was able to turn into a toxic has and manipulate it to his will. Having specialized in dangerous poisons, he was known for making toxic gases and using them on his raids.

"Nope, I believed not." Usono said with unspoken humor as he as look around the building, knowing exactly where the trap his laid. But he didn't say anything as he let the poison overtake the area they were in, already backed away from it so that it wouldn't catch him.
"But I did have my fairshare of research on him." Usono said with a grin as he look as the deadly toxin coming towards them not looking all that worried about the situation they are in."His name is Kamikaze and he's the captain of the Poison Barb Pirates. I heard just recently he's a devil fruit user apparently~"
Of course, that piece of information interested Usono greatly. Devil fruits are rare as well as people who have the powers of the Devil Fruit. Usually, they would be judged and think as monster but not to Usono. He thinks they are rather cool- though there are some exception to those who are rather cocky because they have the powers of the Devil fruit ~ If so, he doesn't mind taking them down a notch~

Well, anyway, at this point, Usono can guess what kind of devil fruit this captain has.....
"I would be careful. Toxins seemed to be his specialties." And also Usono's.

"Well anyway, drink this." He threw a small barrel towards the other while a took another barrel for himself, drinking it. "It's water. Take small sips once in a while. He's using a toxin that can only affect use through our breathing and open wounds. It's not the skin-type contact poison but do not underestimate it. At first, you'll feel light pain once the poison entered your body but then the pain will increase and by five hours, you will die."

Though Usono said to take small sips, he already drank the whole thing strangely.... Most would assume it's because that since he knows so much about poison, he would be slightly more immune to them. Faintly.... You can tell that the liquid taste different from water...

"The water will act as a temporary sanitizer and prevent to much poison to enter in your system and flush whatever they can get."

Shunori couldn't help but feel slightly disappointed by the lack of information but the drifting cloud of poisonous gas that slowly headed down theirbway and surrounded the area they staye in. The albino was surprised yet again by the small tiny barrel thing that was thrown his way. Take small sips? Out of a barrel? It looked like the whole barrel was a sip itself! Sighing slightl, and not in the situation tobe stubborn anduntrusting, he opened the barrel and sipped slowly at the contents. Strange as it would seem that it really didn't taste like water. Something was off. How he hated itsuwaribito in a way because it would seem that he could not really tell if Usuno was telling the truth or not or if he was even on his side. Taking this in stride, he sighed a little on the inside and sipped slowly till the contents were gone then he turned to Usuno.
Would they move in soon or was the other still planning something?

"Now that we are prepared, let's go in and give him back the karma he deserve." Usono said with a rather coy grin of amusement, not giving away anything but he doesn't look like he was planning to lose to anyone or anything- he looks rather prideful than anything else.

Without a thought, he enter through the dark toxic air and enter into (more likely kick the door down) into the monastery as he the walks inside ever so casually as if he owns the place, his posture obviously arrogant and stubborn looking, making it as if the poison doesn't affect him at all.

He looks over where the boss is and grins a more malicious grin- looking rather dark and grim in a way.
"Hey, you're trying to destroy my hometown. That is so not cool." Usono said in a humorous tone that practically contradicts with his sentence but what he said is anything but a joke if his dark grinning expression have anything to say in it.

Shunori didn't acknowledge the comment. He merely followed after Usuno loyally, drawing an arrow from the quiver and stretching it back on the bow, preparing to attack as he stuck close to the other. The old building looked just about ready to collapses upon itself. Any wrong move just might turn the tables against them especially when Shunori had a few bombs and he had already experienced seeing Usuno use those small tiny little midget barrel things as bombs as well.

The pirate captain frowned. What did they drink? A chemical? A counter? Some ale? He could not see from the distance as they both drank from something small. Growling just a bit, he grabbed the hilt of the sword and strode to the desk where his plans lay awaiting his attention. Everything was delayed. Put off track. There was no way he could make up for this. All because of two boys...Kamikaze smirked and he looked up to Usuno who had entered the room. Curling his fingers tightly around the hilt of his sword, he stayed perfectly still.
"Hmm....last time I checked. This town was in MY possession."

Shunori stood by Usuno, a few feet away, staking out by the door with weapon nearly drawn. He narrowed his eyes and looked to Usuno before glaring back at the other man silently. Why was he so humorous in guidance situation when this town itself was in danger. He didn't question Suzuki's methods but he didn't really trust them to the fullest either. Staying quiet, he opted to let the other do the talking since they seem to know eachother and Usuno was on to talk while Shunori wasn't.

"Well technically, the townspeople own the town since there are specific areas where they have legal rights to. If you're running for mayor, that just means you are the diplomatic representative for those people therefore it might sound like to some people that since you represent those people, you own the whole town but technically that's not the case." It's obvious that Usono isn't taking this so seriously like most people would in this situation, his joking and amuse grin on his face, as he voiced out the civil and diplomatic speech as if they weren't talking to a pirates.
But in the end, Usono laughed out.
"Then again, we're pirates! Anything diplomatic and political is beyond us. We take what we can and steal from the weak."
A devil-like grin then take place of Usono fox-like grin.
At that moment, Usono the dashed towards the man, his hidden butterfly knife coming out from his black armored arm as to collide with the other's chest and towards the other's heart.
"So, that means that I just have to take this town from you~"

Kamikaze barely blinked as he raised his arm that was practically imprisoned in a thick silver colored metal sheet for protection, he drew a dagger from his belt and slashed out at the strange grinning white haired boy. He didn't entirely expect it to hit the teen at all so he put not effort behind it and he backed away from Usuno. The older man smirked in amusement at the boys diplomatic speech. Truly? Who was going to really pay attention to that when he was clearly just heading in to attack while Kamikaze would supposedly be confused about the sudden change in lies and truth with this boy and possibly not defend. He expected the children to be strong so he was not going to give in so easily.

Shunori blinked in surprise at the sudden attack from Usuno, who said he could just go and do something like that so stupidly?! This guy was dangerous and what if the idiot had walked right into another trap?! I mean, he was just standing there right!! Anything could have happened!! The archer resisted the urge to hit Usuno over the head with his bow. Drawing an arrow and locking onto Kamikaze.
"Surrender now or else you will be forced to be driven out of this town. You shall no longer be running any plans on this towns recreation."

Kamikaze smirked in turn to Shunori who narrows his eyes silently in hatred before suddenly feeling a little allay, his arrow dropped just a bit before he refocused and aimed once again for Kamikaze. Dizzy spell perhaps...?

Usono was able to dodge before he was caught up in the knife, not surprise that the other was able to block his attack. He attack mainly only because that he wanted to show the other how serious he is of what he had said about getting his town back and that the other should take him seriously.
He hates it when people take him lightly and didn't think of him as a threat. Well, he likes to prove them wrong as well anyway.

Usono jumps back to his original place as he grins ever so carefreely or menacingly, knowing for the fact that while Shunori had ask the man to surrender, he doubts that could happen. This is a pirate they are fighting against, a very stubborn and while a bit manical one (not that he's one to talk). He doubts the word "surrender" is in his vocab.
But he plays along anyway for the heck of it.
"Surrendering is your best bet right now; prevents casualties~" Usono try to persuade though he doubt the pirate captain would agree, judging by the mocking grin that had formed on his face.

Kamikaze chuckled to himself at what the children were implying. Him? Surrender? His plans were merely being held back at a certain point, he wasn't going to give unless something actually drastic happened. These kids merely misplaced a few props in his little play, those mistakes could easily be refurbished and found, so no. He was not going to give up or surrender anytime soon. Shunori glared, realizing what the man was smirking about, if he wanted to take over the town then he was goijg to have to go down in order for his to be stopped once and for all then perhaps driven out of town along with his pirates gang.


"There is no way that I will surrender. And there is no way that a couple of mere children will be able to stop me either."
Kamikaze said plain and simple, smirking at both of them. He lnew they were more than that. He knew they would have no problem with getting in a fight with him but he was sure that there would be no way they could beat him. Sliding a sword from its sheath he pointed it at the obi-wearing teen.
"My plans will go through and there is nothing that you will he able to do about it."
