Appearance:
Flash has medium length purple hair that covers his right green eye. His body is light skinned and well-toned from his training with his father, mother, and brother. He generally wears a black and white outfit made specifically for him as a parting gift from his parents. In the back of the shirt are to slits which allow his hummingbird wings to slide through. While on duty, this is his uniform and he takes it seriously, keeping it tidy. Sword unsheathes from the right side.

History: Astor was born at the Navy headquarters of Marineford, the second child of respected Navy parents. Since he was always around Navy men, and his mother and father were also Navy soldiers, he knew from a young age that he also wanted to be part of the Navy. He asked his mother to start training him at the young age of 7 in the art of swordsmanship. She agreed, seeing how the Navy blood flowed through his veins. During this time, his father, a Navy doctor, also started to teach him basic medical knowledge, believing that his son should be a well-rounded sailor.

At the age of 10 he ate a Tori Tori No Mi which turned him into a hummingbird man. His parents had brought the fruit for him as a gift, knowing the great power it could contain. However, neither of them knew that it was a Model: Hummingbird fruit, and so, he was left on his own to train those abilities.

He has a brother 5 years older than him, Flash Q. Flick, whom he was always close too. When Astor was 13, Flick became a member of the world government, leaving his family. 2 years later, he came back with official business in Marineford, living back at home for 6 months. During this time, he returned home and began to teach Astor the art of Rokushiki, after much begging on Astor’s part. He was able to learn 3 of the 6 styles: Soru, Geppo, and Rankyaku during this time.

Just as he was about to finally join the Navy, his mother was wounded in battle, trying to keep pirates out of the New World. His father was able to save her life. It was here that Astor vowed to become a officer capable of defending the New World from pirates.



Personality: Astor is a fun-loving person. He always looks for the positive in every situation. He is a very loyal friend when he bonds with someone too. He cannot stand those who put others down and just plain old bullies, causing him to protect the weak and the righteous.

Devil Fruit: Tori Tori No Mi Model: Hummingbird
Type: Zoan
Effect: Full Form: Allows the user to take on traits of or transform into a hummingbird. The wings of the hummingbird allow the user to fly or hover in the air, moving with ease in any direction. Also, the user can focus themselves and cause an even faster beating, creating a burst of wind, which would shoot out in the opposite direction from where the body moves. The beak of the hummingbird is long and sharp, making it a possible weapon choice. The eyes of a hummingbird can see farther than normal and the ears can hear better.

Hybrid Form: User transform slightly, gaining wings, beak, and causing their feet to turn into talons. In this form, the user can still fly in any direction, but cannot cause the wind burst. Sight and hearing slightly improve.

Ittoryu Techniques
1. Revolution Cleave - While his sword is still sheathed, Astor jumps slightly off the ground, turning his body horizontally and spinning. As he begins to come down, he draws his sword and unleashes a powerful cleave downward.
2. Revolution Launcher - Astor spins quickly with his sword held closely to his body. He then stops throwing his sword at high speed towards his opponent.
3. Revolution Cross - A spinning technique in which Astor cuts horizontally or vertically, then switches position quickly to cut perpendicularly.

Tori Tori No Mi Model: Hummingbird Techniques
Hybrid Form
1. Million Stab - Astor uses his beak and attempts stabs at high speed
2. Soru Gyaku (Shave Reverse) - Using his wings, Astor is able to stop a high speed Soru rush, and gain distance away from his opponent.
3. Yūrei Aruku (Ghost Walk) - (Only an idea by Astor at this point) A higher form of Kamisori. Astor uses his wings to gain greater maneuverability.
4. Rankyaku: Tsume (Storm Leg: Talon) - Astor uses Rankyaku through his talons, sending three smaller blasts out instead of one.
5. Rankyaku: Hanabi Kakumei (Storm Leg: Fireworks Revolution) - (Only an idea by Astor at this point) Astor combines his Revolution technique with Rankyaku, spinning and unleashing a deadly blast in a full circle.

Full Form
1. Kazebakuhatsu (Wind Blast) - A focus, faster beating of the hummingbird wings creates a strong gust of wind.
2. Rankyaku: Kaze (Storm leg: Wind) - (Only an idea by Astor at this point) An upgraded version of Kazebakuhatsu, in which the burst created will rip and tear flesh and armor.
