Serious: The Wavy Reds Go Hunting - Ch. 1: Dang We Are Poor

((ok ill be controlling the pirate crew (Unless someone else wants to, in which case ill PM you about the character you will be controlling). Checker and Ryzan will team up to take down Dr. Pepper, and i will have the first mate (a swordsman) and the cook (who is better at fighting then cooking) fight you two on the boat, you can choose who fights who, ill reveal their powers as the fight progresses.))

Ryzan: "CHARGE!!!" i've always wanted to say that! he started running with Checker and the crew right behind him. As they got the the ramshackle huts he shouted to Hakashi and Kristoph "You two go that way and check out the boat" pointing towards the beach. "We'll go this way" He continued as he and Checker ran towards the center of the town.

Checker: As they neared the center of the huts, Checker noticed many of the crew peek through cracked door at them, but non chose to confront them. thats odd, i thought we would have to fight our way to the captain, looks like it will be a straight shot to Dr. Pepper When they reached the center of the huts, they found a man sunbathing in a lawn chair with a glass of some red juice beside him.

Ryzan: "That looks like him. Get him!"

Dr. Pepper: "WAIT!" Ryzan hesitated. "At least let me finish my chili water (ewwww)" He took a large gulp and stood up. "Ok, now you can come get me" He said with a grin.

((Keymaster, just act as you would and ill have vex follow you since he's not here often till e gets his net back up. so just continue on to the boat and ill introduce the first mate and cook, then we will wait for vex to start the fights))

Kris got a sinister grin on the corner of his mouth. "Chaos Slash!" he slashed from the right at a member of Dr. Pepper's crew, slicing him in half. "HAHAHAHAHA!!! IT'S GREAT TO KILL AGAIN!" he yelled evilly.

((just go all the way to the boat so i can introduce your opponents, Ryzan will deal with ur mad killing intent later))

a shiver went down Ryzan's spine someone must have walked over my grave If only he had known the true reason for the shiver, the killing intent emanating from one of his very own crew.

Kris ran to the boat, killing everthing he found. Pirate, animal, or innocent people. "Yes. Let me see your blood." he continued in his demonic tone.

Pirates were fleeing the laughing madman in all directions. However, two pirates pirates jumped down from the boat. One was a tall chubby man carrying a large steaming pot of... something... he wore an expression of pain and anger, with his lips pursed together and his eyes slitted. An his back he had a backpack of sorts with hundreds of small pockets in it. Next to him landed a short skinny guy with disproportionally long arms. This man had a sword larger then him over his back and has a crooked smile on his face.
"Now why would you come and kill all our men?" Said the swordsman.
"Yeah, kill all our men" echoed the fat man.
"No matter, the killing stops here"
"Killing stops here"
"Well not the killing of you, but you know what i mean"
"Know what i mean"

Kris just smiled even bigger. "Slash Shot!" he slashed and a sliver of air shot at the two pirates.

The swordsman stepped in front of the attack and broke it with his sword.
"your going to have to do better then that!"
"better then that!"
"I am, Zalen 'Blazing Edge'"
"I am Zalen Blazing Edge"
turning to the fat man "No you're Grumby the cook!"
"Grumby the cook" the man said with a hearty laugh
"Yes, And I'm the first mate, you'll not get past us"
"Past us"

((wait for vex))

Standing in front of the man next to the fat man, Hakashi put on his gloves and put one arm out challagneing the "Blazing Edge". "You think your all that how bout u fight a warrior of my calliber."

The insane kris just started slashing at anything in front of him. "DIE! DIE! BLOOD! BLOOD! HAHAHAHAHA!"

((looks like Vex got the swordsman))
"Very well" The swordsman replied to Hakashi "i will test my skills against you, but dont take the Spice Pirates lightly!"

As the insane Kris started to rampage, Zalen moved out of the way, and let the large cook, Grumby, step forward. Grumby simply moved his enormous pot in front of the attack and the slashes were deflected to the sides. A hint of a smile touched the corner of his lips, but he still kept his pain ridden face. after the assault he stood there, waiting for Kris to make his next move

Kris jumped, and landed behind the fat cook. He slashed at the cook's spine, where death would be immediate.

As Kris flew over his head, the cook threw the contents of the pot behind him where kris was going to land "Chili douse" he said

Hakashi put out his fist in challange."Come at me anytime."

Zalen simply replied "have it your way" and stepped toward Hakashi, swinging his sword from his right towards Hakashi's left leg. However, right before it would have hit he changed its path upwards towards Hakashi's arm

Ryzan and Checker vs. Dr. Pepper

Ryzan drew Stella and Bella "Saberphant" he said quietly as held Stella in his right hand, normal grip, across his chest coming up to the left side of his face. Bella was held in the left hand,reverse grip, with arm goind straight forward and the blad extending horizontally to the left. He had his left foot forward and shifted his weight from one foot to the next slowly.

Checker took the initiative and jogged forward a few steps "Hard Fist!" he shouted, aiming for Dr. Peppers face. Dr. Pepper simply smiled as a chunk of his face was torn away. Checker stared in disbelief at the red flesh of the inside of Dr. Peppers head, and the fact that Dr. Pepper was still smiling (kinda, half his mouth is gone). Dr. Pepper then spoke "You naive fool, didn't you do your research? i have a logia devil fruit." Then, red and black specks of dust started to float back towards his face reforming it. "I'm a Pepperman!" as he said this he placed his right hand in front of checkers face "Blind Cayenne" he said flatly as his hand turned into a red powder and struck Checker in the face.

"YEEEEEAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHH! MY EYES!!!!!!! THEY BUUUUURN!!!!!" Checker said as he danced around in pain. This attracted a large audience of Dr. Pepper's crew. They brought food and drinks and chairs to watch the spectacle. Ryzan sheathed his sabers and ran to the nearest crew member and stole a cup of water from him. he then ran over to Checker and held his head sideways, pouring the water over his eyes. Dr. Pepper just stood and laughed haughtily. "Never underestimate the spice pirates" he said in a concieted tone. After a the cup was empty, Ryzan picked up checker and ran to a water barrel. He poked a hole in it and started pouring water over checkers eyes again. Checker stood up bleary eyed. "That was dirty" he said in a malicious tone, eyes watering. "No point in not using my power" replied Dr. Pepper. "You'll pay for that" Checker growled. And then he suddenly grabbed the barrel of water and heaved it at Dr. Pepper. The barell landed right in front of Dr. Pepper. Dousing him in water. Checker laughed as Dr. Pepper sterted to melt...

Kris just ignored the chili, even though it was hot. When kris landed, he landed on his hands. He then kicked with both feet, making a wave of air going straight at the cook. "Hakurai!"
((first use of rokushiki! yay! time to dance!))

The attack cut off the bottom of Grumby's backpack and sent him flying forward, leaving him with a nasty gash in his back. the some of the bottles in his backpack broke and released their powders. Kris was just beginning to feel the effects of the chili. The chili contained crushed thai peppers, an extremely spicy chili. These caused a burning sensation in his skin much worse then the simple burning of boiling chili. Additionally, the powders released by the backpack were more dried and crushed peppers and would start to burn kris's eyes, nose, and mouth.
Grumby laughed as he rolled over and attempted to stand. "Can you take the heat?" he asked

Kris was still standing on his hands. "This ain't nothing. Hakurai!" he repeated the attack, ignoring the heat which would affect him when he returned to his normal state.

((well evenif u ignore the pain, your eyes will water up to wash the spice out, blinding you))

Grumby attempted to bring his pot up to block the attack, but the injury on his back made his movements sluggish and he was only able to deflect it away from his body, letting it hit his left arm. "Youll pay for that" he growled through clenched teeth, leting his arm hang limp. the muscles had been severed. He then charged at Kris, reaching into his pack to grab a vial of orange powder.

kris got up, blinded, but still slashing at the cook. "I may not see, but I can still KILL!!!"

Grumby didnt have the strength to dodge all of Kris's attacks and succumbed to their biting sting. However, right before he fell he tossed the vial, containg the powder of a dried habenero pepper (previously the spiciest pepper in the world) , at Kris, hoping to douse him in powder so volatile that it would leave his skin buring for days.
Grumby the cook fell to the ground dead. his last words "may the world taste my spicyness!"

Kris returned to his normal state. He then felt the hard burn of the pepper. "AAAAAGGGGGHHHH!" kris jumped into the water, getting rid of some of the pain and pepper.
((keep in mind that kristoph is NOT a DF user, so he's perfectly fine.))

((ya i know. your lucky its salt water, normal water would just spread it. i guess we have to wait for vex, though i doubt he'll be able to post over winter break cuz he said hhe was posting from school... ill finish my fight with Dr. Pepper later))

Suddenly Dr. Peppers laugh could be heard coming from the ooze as it started to move towards checker “Water doesn’t douse the fire, it spreads it!” the ooze filled the plaza, and arms started to grow from it, reaching for Checker. Then a Dr, Peppers head appeared in the middle of the ooze. “Creeping Heat” he said in a flat tone and the ooze surrounded Checker and Ryzan. “What the H#LL! Your supposed to be dead!” checker shouted in frustration. He kicked the nearest hand with his right foot “Hard Kick” the hand burst into a red powder, but reformed. “Don’t these things ever die!”

Meanwhile Ryzan had jumped to the nearest building and peaked in the door. In there he found some of the spice pirates, who had fled the ooze, still watching the spectacle through the windows. One of them ate a serrano pepper and started screaming, he didn’t expect it to be so hot. One of his crew mates ran over with a glass of milk “here drink this” the man did and calmed down. MILK! That must be spices weakness! Ryzan burst and grabbed the man who had offered the glass. “where is the milk” he said in a low but menacing tone. The man, Scared out of his wits, pointed to a crate labeled “milk”. Ryzan grabbed the crate and ran out. He pried open the crate with one of his swords and grabbed a bottle.

The ooze was starting to engulf Checker, so Ryzan threw the bottle, and it broke as it hit Checker’s metal shoulder. The milk sprayed over the area, and the ooze simply disappeared when it came into contact. As it disappeared, Dr. Pepper’s body began to reform, and he gained an arm. “What are you doing!” he shouted. Ryzan, with a smile, Started running towards Dr. Pepper, pouring milk all the way, with Checker close behind. When they got close enough, Ryzan tossed a bottle at Dr. Pepper’s head. When an arm reached for the bottle, Ryzan sliced it in half, forcing it to reform. The bottle burst as it hit the ground in front of Dr. Pepper, covering him in milk. His body reformed into a normal looking human. “wha-what! Why can’t i use my power!” “Cuz milk neutralizes the spice” Ryzan said.

“HARD TRAIN!” Checker shouted. First he punched Dr. Pepper in the face with his steel left fist, using the momentum of his punch to spin around, he brought his steel right elbow and hit Dr. Pepper in the ribcage, breaking a few ribs and causing him to caugh up blood. Checker continued to spin and kneed Dr. Pepper in the groin before spinning again for a backwards kick to the legs, sweeping them out from under Dr. Pepper. He then jumped into the air and body slammed the prone Dr. Pepper. Dr. Pepper wheezed and spit up blood as the air and blood was forced out of his lungs. He lay on the ground, unconscious. “Good job Checker” Ryzan said. He then called out “Is there a doctor in the spice pirates!” a small and feeble old man was pushed forward. He cowered in front of Ryzan and Checker. “Heal your captain.” Ryzan commanded.
