Pumpkin Appearance: Jack is a pumpkin so his head is a pumpkin in all his forms he has stitching around the top of his head and his body is made out of lots of thin weeds and stems which are strong enough to hold his body up, his main stem holding him up is a thick one which leads all the way to the ground and has 4 main weeds spreading out balancing him the others are used for arms and various other things, in this form his body is fragile but also very flexible.
Hybrid Appearance: Jack’s hybrid appearance stands 4ft tall and has a normal shaped head only it is orange like a pumpkin and all the features are just like they are on a normal pumpkin only they look like scars in the face giving him a creepy look. His body is made up of think rough weeds down to the waist where he ends; his hybrid form is only the top half of him as the weeds building up his torso begin to go into the ground.
Human Appearance: In his human form Jack looks like a normal human being only his skin is slightly tanned orange and his hair is green and styled a little bit like the stem on top of a pumpkin, his eyes and mouth also have slight scar on both sides making them look a little bit like slits as his eyes and deeper in his head than usual making the outside of them dark. In his human form he has hands which have the tiniest green tint to them and are very dark green at the tips his chest is slightly rotten and dark green and looks infected. Jack stays in his human form most of the time, as it is the only form people accept him in. Jack wears dark brown dirty shorts and a yellow torn waist coat which is almost orange, he wears it open all the time though as it would rip when he changes into his other forms.
History: Jack began life as an ordinary pumpkin and one Halloween he had his face carved the top of his head cut off so a candle could be placed inside as Halloween passed he was thrown away as he was in the trash heap and slowly began to rot a discarded devil fruit rolled down the garbage pile and fell in through the head of the pumpkin, both the devil fruit and pumpkin rotted but the devil fruit bit by bit was absorbed into the pumpkin, thus giving birth to Jack O. Lantern.
Jack stood up climbing out from the trash heap in human form and looked down at his body he tried to understand what had happened to him and felt confused as he hadn’t ever been alive before, he saw a human who fainted from seeing Jack, when he looked at his reflection he realised he was a human whatever that was and he as missing the top of his head, he searched around for something to cover the hole in his head till he finally found the top of his pumpkin head or another pumpkin’s head. Jack headed into town where he was given a bunch of weird looks and chased out of town. Jack felt all these new feelings he’d never felt before and a hatred for the common human grew inside of him until he was found one day in the woods eating mushrooms, they tasted nice to him. Jack was found by a witch doctor and her voodoo priestess daughter they looked at Jack amazed and invited him to their home Jack was about to attack them until he was invited to their home he didn’t know what it meant but liked the sound of it and followed them. Once he was in their home he noticed it was full of creepy looking things, Jack explained what happened to the women but they were very confused about what he was until Jack pointed out his head which the top of getting falling off.
The mother examined his head and inside instead of finding a brain she found remnants of a devil fruit and knew what had happened she explained it to
her daughter and Jack. Jack was fascinated by the story of what had happened to him and smiled at both the women. The mother offered to stitch the top of his head back on for him and Jack agreed, he was just happy to be accepted as a normal human being for now. Jack was taught that as he had been rotting when the devil fruit was absorbed into him he was in fact infected with a disease which made him malnourished quickly. Jack discovered that since he had come from a plant he could take the nutrients from other plants which is why eating the mushrooms was helping him as he was storing the nutrients in his body. Whilst he was at the women’s house Jack was taught like a person to speak normally, and act normally these women didn’t see him as a freak but a nice misunderstood person.
Once Jack became more human and learnt about his Devil Fruit abilities he decided to experiment with them and discovered he could change into 3 different forms which all had their advantages and disadvantages. Jack trained himself up to become strong and killed off an entire forest as he needed to feed every 3 hours. Once he felt better about himself as a person he asked if the mother could teach him to be a doctor so he could look after himself in the future instead of having to come back to her. She agreed and taught him what she had learnt when she was a doctor before she became a witch doctor. Jack studied medicine from her for 7 years and managed to surpass her in her old age, he began falling in love with her daughter who was 10 years older than himself, one night when he went to spend time with her he saw her strumming an old guitar as he had his hand in a plant pot where a banzai tree was dead thanks to him. Jack heard her music and found it beautiful, he then grew his own strings which were tough, thin stems which he attached to his right thigh and as she strummed he began to strum them too. Together they made beautiful music even if Jack was a little off, when he heard that the daughter was getting married in a few days time he was upset and began playing lots of love songs for the daughter but she kept trying to let him down nicely on the day of the wedding Jack was there and felt full of anger that he couldn’t be the one with her as he didn’t fully understand human emotions, when he saw the bride and groom together and go in to kiss his anger got the better of him.
Jack stood up and launched two thick stems at the groom and snapped his neck then wrapped them around the daughter and tried to carry her away unfortunately for him everyone else at the wedding was horrified and began to attack Jack, feeling afraid he tried to run but was cornered and he knew the only way out was the remove them, Jack began beating off the people by forcing stems into the ground and pulling the people into the ground as he did this many people lost their lives as his anger in the grip was stronger than he thought. As Jack ran away with the woman he loved when he laid her down she simply cried and ran away leaving Jack alone in the woods, he didn’t fully understand what had happened and removed a whole forest that day eating out of depression. Jack chose to leave the island behind as his memories there made him cry he left the island with a firm hatred for humans as the only thing they had managed to do in his whole life was make him feel bad.
Personality: Jack is a pretty mean character who has a strong hatred for humans which he feels with never go away. He enjoys eating up entire forests in one go as he knows he can do it and it fills him up for a day, he wants to eliminate all humans due to what they have done to him and likes plants as they have never done anything to hurt him, he is a very awkward character around people as he shows hatred towards them and has a hard time holding back his anger issues. Jack doesn’t like having a bounty and is looking to spend his life in the safety of the woodland to avoid capture but when the odd Marine or Bounty Hunter does come his way Jack will happily dispose of them if he knows that that person is alone. Jack has a dark sense of humour and prefers to be alone unless he is with people who he knows like him and won’t hurt him.

Rising Roots-Jack sticks his stems, fingers or feet into the soil and creates strong stems, weeds and vines from the ground which reach up and grab people pulling them towards to the ground.
Voodoo Doll-Jack can wrap his stems, vines and such around an enemy so many times that he can use them like a human shield
Seed Shot-Jack can spit seeds out at a fast rate but not hard enough to pierce the skin or bruise them just enough to get a person’s attention.
