Ferdinard Maimou

Early Life
Ferdinard, was born on the same island in which Maximillion was. There, he used to grow up with him. However, their relationship was not the best. The two of them had a very fierce rivalry and they used to battle a lot. Maximillion was claiming that Ferdinard was copying him and on the other side, Ferdinard was claiming the same. Even if the two of them were thinking similarly about many things, they would never agree for anything and would always find a chance to argue with each other. The fact that they never agreed on anything was what led Ferdinard to become a marine and not a pirate in the begining. As soon as he learned that Maximillion was training to become a pirate, he started training to become a marine and capture him so that they would end their rivalry in an all-out battle.
At the age of 18, the man joined the marines and started training more and more every day. Thanks to his Shockwave Style, which he mastered when he battled with Maximillion at their home island, he quickly got promoted and reached the rank of Captain. At the meantime, he also started training at Rokushiki, learning the basics of Soru and Shigan. However, his Soru and his Shigan are nothing compared to the mastered ones and are only useful at Ferdinard when he combines then with his Shockwave techniques.
During his time in the marines, Ferdinard managed to do a lot of things. He was present in the war in Shabondy Archipelago, Enies Lobby, as well as Atlantis, helping his side with all his strength. However, because of the losses that the marines suffered in the wars, he did not get the chance to receive another promotion and so he was stuck at the rank of Commander for quite a while.
And now, Ferdinard is sailing around the world, training himself and protecting the world from criminals like Maximillion and his other cousin, Manta, with his Absolute Justice...

The North Blue Saga!
It had been a while after the war of Atlantis ended. Ferdinard travelled a little bit, but in the end he was finally sent in a new division in North Blue. He was told that he would meet his new captain, Leonard Roswell, there. As a result, he moved to a basement in North Blue. For a little bit, he worked in the Big Igloo and he even had his own office. While he was in that basement, he was informed about his cousin. Apparently, his cousin received a great bounty and he had caused a fuss in Water 7, as well as in Impel Down... His cousin was making a name for himself, while Ferdinard was just assigned to a new division of his. That was really a pain for Ferdinard.
However, unlike his cousin, he was patient. He knew that he would meet with his crew very soon and so he patiently waited... And so, when the day came he went and met his crew. Apparently, his crew was consisting of himself and three other marines. Captain Leonard Roswell was leading it and there were two other marines, the Ensign Sean and Andrew Luminoso... These were the people he would travel with from that time.
When the crew arrived at the meeting point, Leonard revealed that he had arranged a training with the students of another marine captain. With the combined afforts of Ferdinard, Sean and Andrew, the crew defeated these students... The only thing after that was to clean the ship of the "Iron Raiders" (His new crew's name) before he would finally set sail.
While the losers of the battle were cleaning the ship, though, a bunch of marines who were carrying a few infamous pirates appeared. Those pirates were arrested in the Grand Line and they were being moved to a prison in North Blue for safety. While they were moving though, they escaped. A battle between the Iron Raiders and the pirates started. After a long battle against Galeria Bane, the first mate of that pirate crew, Ferdinard finally emerged victorious. After cuffing him with sea-stone, Ferdinard impaled him with his strongest attack, ultimately killing him and dropping him in the sea...
And after that battle ended, Ferdinard learned the good news. Because of his actions, he received a promotion. As he had the rank of Captain, he could rule a Marine crew and he could decide whether he wanted to stay with Leonard or not. Even if Ferdinard started viewing Leonard as a friend, he decided to leave, thinking that he would have to travel by himself to increase his own strength... And so, the Marine Captain is now travelling across the sea, after the battles he had in North Blue and after receiving his promotion.

Grand Line Saga: The meeting at Water 7

After traveling for quite a while in North Blue and catching a few pirates, it was about time for Ferdinard to finally make his move and try to move into the Grand Line. Apparently, the Marine Captain had learned from other Marines, as well as from the newspapers that Maximillion had confronted a Commodore named Darnel Warshack. It seemed that a rivalry between the two crews had started... It would be great if Ferdinard joined the crew. With them, he could get the chance to find Maximillion and finally battle him to defeat him. As a result, the marine asked to be moved to the Hooded Knights, Darnel's crew and his higher ups agreed. As a result, he was sent to them in Water 7, where they had got to in order to receive a new ship after they got their previous one destroyed by Maximillion. With a completely new appearance, the marine is ready to offer what he has in order to assist his new crew and catch as many pirates as possible, while searching for his cousin to eliminate him.

As soon as the Marine was sent to Water 7 and informed his new captain about himself being a new member who was sent by the higher ups, Ferdinard sticked with the crew until they would set sail. Finally, a few days later, the new ship of the crew was ready and the crew set sail to its next destination for its next battle: To Arabasta so that they would stop Anubis from taking over the place.

Grand Line Saga: The Anubis War

While in the war against Anubis, Ferdinard performed many notable achievements. As soon as the epic battle between the two Vice Admirals, Derge Sr. Namikaze and Major Payne against Anubis Neferiti and Gael Iura started, Ferdinard decided to assist the Vice Admirals and back them up so that nobody else would interfere in the battle. As a result, he got engaged in a battle with the former emperor Leon Lexus who was now serving under Anubis. Ferdinard put up a good battle against him, but the battle never finished as the marines retreated and Ferdinard left along with them. However, his actions in the war made the higher ups award him with a promotion; for his bravery when his two superior officers were taking on the former Warlord and the yonko, as well as for taking on a former yonko, Ferdinard was promoted to the rank of Commodore. And now, as a Commodore, Ferdinard keeps sailing along with the Hooded Knights...

Grand Line Saga: The training of the Hooded Knights

Along with the rest of the hooded knights, after the war of Arabasta, Ferdinard ended up on an island and he started training along with them. While at first, he was not interested in training because he deemed himself quite strong, he realized while watching at Darnel sparring along with Nishki that he still had a lot to learn. As a result, he rushed inside the forest and he started training himself in order to become stronger and stronger. For the first time after a very long time, he tried to add a new technique under his arsenal that was based on a technique that he had seen over his travels around the Grand Line; Rankyaku. The time the Hooded Knights were training inside the island, Ferdinard started training the technique more and more and not only he managed to master it, but also he created a few variations of it and adapted it to his battling style. With his strength improved and with his captain's promotion, Ferdinard also received a promotion to a Rear Admiral as he had become pretty strong and too powerful for just being a Commodore. And now, with a completely new appearance that does not remind anybody of Ferdinard's at all, Ferdinard is ready to sail the seas of the New World along with his boss, the now Admiral Darnel Warshack.

The Grand Line Saga: The sudden promotion

Ferdinard was staying with the Hooded Knights for quite a while, doing his job. During the meeting that Admiral Warshack called, Ferdinard was the one who was announcing a few of the decisions of the World Government to the marines, including Admiral Major Payne, Vice Admiral Seternity Light and Rear Admiral Tamuri Todd. After the meeting, though, Admiral Warshack disappeared. As a result, the Hooded Knights were left without a head and by extension the force got disbanded. Because now Ferdinard was a free marine, he was sent by his superior officers to a basement; he would become the head of a new basement that would be built nearby Shabondy Archipelago, with the rank of Vice Admiral. As Ferdinard's strength was greater than that of a regular Rear Admiral, there was no trouble with the instant promotion. Ferdinard did not want to miss his chance for promotion and he decided to accept the post. And now he is serving as the head of a marine basement near Shabondy Archipelago with the rank of Vice Admiral.

New World Saga

During his times at the Shabondy Archipelago, Ferdinard came to witness quite a few events. He watched as the rookie pirate, Roko Cloud, caused a giant uprising by gathering several crews and facing off against many powerful Marine Vice Admirals. During the ruckus, Roko succeeded in his battle and he was shortly granted the title of the Yonko, before getting into the New World to become pray for the experienced crews of the New World and especially the Unknown Pirates. While the marines lost the battle against Roko, Ferdinard once again proved his abilities and thus the Marines started treating him with more respect, despite the fact that he was the cousin of the already existing Yonko, Maximillion Maimou. As a result, he was sent a few months later to a basement to the New World after his own request, so that he could have a chance to meet and take down his cousin once and for all. However, fate had other plans for his rivalry with his cousin as Maximillion was trapped by his former subordinate, Koga, into a Devil Fruit weapon and he was put out of comission for a while.

With Maximillion being out of things, Ferdinard realized that he would probably never get to face off against his cousin and thus he decided to look onto his career as a Marine more than ever. The following years that passed, he dealt against the Unknown Pirates and he was fighting into the New World, becoming a prominent marine figure, despite his very eccentric personality and his questionable methods as an endorser of complete Absolute Justice. He got to arrest several pirates which he sent to the impenetratable prison of the New World, The Tower of Fallen Angels, a prison which was renovated to keep the most dangerous of the pirates, especially after the constant raids of Impel Down by the former Yonko Seshomaru, the Anubis Pirates and the Dusk Pirates.

While he performed his duties all those years, he mastered his usage of Soru and Shigan and added them to his fighting style, creating new techniques and combinations that exceeded those of regular superhumans, becoming a fighter who could use effectively both the Shockwave Style which the members of the Maimou Family used all those years at the seas, as well as the traditional Rokushiki art the marines used. And now, Ferdinard acts as a Vice Admiral, performing his duties as a man of Justice, although he is focusing on tracking down the remaining members of the Dusk Pirates and the traitorous Koga, just like the rest of the Marines do, so that he can ensure that Maximillion is never going to come back to action. Finally, he seems to have resorted to certain activities by himself and without the approval of the Marines, trying to figure out a way about what he can do in case his cousin reappears one day, as well as find a way to deal with Derge Jr. in case he makes a move that could endanger the very existence of the world.

Ferdinard, just like his cousin, does not care for anybody else except from himself and his very close family members. However, because his cousin decided to take the road of piracy, Ferdinard decided to take the other road, the road of justice. Even if he is a marine, his ways are the same as Maximillion's. He is quite absolute with his decisions and he doesn't want to have subordinates who disagree with him. His justice in the marines represents that of Absolute Justice, making him kill anybody whom he deems to be a problem for the marines. Finally, Ferdinard has the unique trait of laughing at any moment, even if that is in the middle of a war, in which countless corpses are around him.

-Shockwave: Ferdinard's fighting style is based on shockwave attack combinations. Shockwave is a standard shockwave that is the basement for most of his other attacks. It is created by the instant movement of his palms or his feet with great force.
-Shockwave Punch: Ferdinard punches his enemies with a punch that is echanced by his Shockwave.
-Shockwave Kick: Ferdinard kicks his enemies with a kick that is echanced by his Shockwave.
-Shockwave Rush: Ferdinard uses his Shockwave with his feet while running to enchance his speed termendously and match Soru.
-Shockwave Shield: Ferdinard uses his Shockwave with both his hands at the same time, forming a shield that is capable of protecting him from most of attacks.
-Shigan
-Soru
-Shockwave Soru: Shockwave Soru is Ferdinard's most useful technique. The marine combines his Shockwave Rush technique with his weak Soru, to surpass even the speed of a normal Soru, making himself faster than Soru users and a versatile fighter, as if he is teleporting around the area. An evolved technique of the Shockwave Rush.
-Shockwave Gun: Shockwave Gun is Ferdinard's most powerful technique. Just like his Shockwave Soru is a combination of his Shockwave Rush and his Soru, Shockwave Gun is a combination of his Shockwave Punch and his Shigan. While performing a punch, the man uses his Shigan with his hand, echancing its strength even more, turning this into a deadly attack.
-Shockwave Bullet: Shockwave Bullet is another attacking technique which is a combination of Ferdinard's Shockwave Style and his mastered Shigan. He pierces the air in front of him with his finger or his hand to create a shockwave looking attack (just like his shockwave is a blunt-type attack) but the attack is combined with his Shigan usage, making the shockwave capable of piercing through anything it touches.
-Shockwave - Ultima: Shockwave Ultima is a technique which Ferdinard developped when he mastered both Shigan and added it to his battling style. It is one of his most powerful techniques. He combines both his hands to perform a shockwave (just like Rokuougan is performed but from a distance) and he is putting so much force that he creates a powerful beam of compressed air which destroys things on a line. (It looks like the Kamehameha)
-Rankyaku
-Rankyaku Shockwave: Ferdinard launches a Rankyaku (cutting air) in the form of his signature shockwave (compressed air) that is capable of cutting through whatever it hits.
-Rankyaku Grande: Ferdinard jumps extremely high on the air and while on the air he moves his leg upwards. While falling, he moves his body in a circular way around his leg (like a wheel would move around its axis) in order for his leg to cover a larger radius and launch a Rankyaku that is three times bigger than the regular Rankyaku.
-Rankyaku Shot: Ferdinard performs a Rankyaku and while performing it, he moves his muscles in order to launch a shockwave from his foot. While the shockwave does not actually move as an attack, it gives force to the Rankyaku to increase its strength and speed considerably.
-Rankyaku Wheel: Ferdinard moves his leg swiftly around himself in a circular way, launching a circle of cutting air around him that spreads around the area in a wide radius.
-Hurricane: Ferdinard's most powerful technique. Ferdinard moves high on the air and he starts performing his signature shockwaves from his legs and his hands, as well as his Rankyaku. A powerful hurricane of his air based techniques is moving around the area with himself at the center that lasts for 5 posts and is not only causing cutting damage but also blunt damage because of the shockwaves inside it. After the technique ends, Ferdinard is tired enough and he cannot use any technique for 10 posts.
