Hikaru stands 6'3" and has a very fit frame. He wears a black coat with a high collar over a black vest and white shirt with a unique collar. He wears a white sash around his waist where he has his katana on his right hip. He also wears gauntlet like gloves that extend to his forearms and provide protection for him. He has short dark violet hair that extends down past his cheekbones and intense Blue eyes. He also wears a serious expression on his face most of the time.
History: Hikaru was born on an island in the East Blue to a well off family. His father a simple blacksmith and his mother a stay at home mom cared for their child deeply. He lived out most of his life learning his fathers craft, he made a wide variety of weapons from swords to guns since he was a small boy. His father told him to be a good blacksmith he had to have a connection with his weapons so he made Hikaru train with every single weapon he made. Over years of training himself he became skilled with swords and guns and had his own style of fighting with them.
He had no real us for combat skill as his island was a peaceful one away from most of the world. The only pirates the island had ever seen were friendly ones just needing supplies and once they had them they left without a word. Hikaru also began to feel that his combat skills were useless so he confronted his father about it. His father told him one day they might come in handy and that he would thank him then, the conversation was left at that. Hikaru thought his father just had no good reason for the training so he put it off in the back of his mind and let it go.
When Hikaru was at the young age of 16 he was well versed in the arts of swordsmanship and marksmanship. Enough so to hold his own against some adults who only knew how to swing a sword or something of that matter. At this point in his life he did not know what he wanted to do or be in the future and it was bugging him. He wasn't that good of a blacksmith only being able to make simple katanas and barley functioning pistols. He went to his father who was in failing health and told him his concerns about his future and his father assured him his path would show itself soon enough.
A few weeks pasted and his father was on the fast track to death. The process was hard on him but harder on his mother who was slowly fading away as well. Within a few days they both died, but before his parents died he had the opportunity to speak with his father one final time. They talked about Hikaru's future as he would now be alone, he took the short time he had and thought about Hikaru's future and what should be done. His father told him he had lived a secluded life and that he must go and explore the world in it's fullest, His father told him to become a pirate.
Hikaru was shocked by his fathers request of him but could not deny his fathers dying wish. He knew he wanted to leave the island for years now but never thought of becoming a pirate. He agreed with his father vowing to become one of the best pirates on the sea, soon after is when his parents both died. Soon after his parents deaths Hikaru rounded their precious belongings and hid them on the island so that one day he could come back for them. When he left the island he joined a rag tag group of pirates who were more like a close knit family.
Liking the ways of the pirate crew which were more of adventure than tormenting the innocent he became very close with the whole crew. Over a span of 7 years he explored much of the North,South,East, and West Blue and loved every moment of it. His crew of course took part in some pirate like activities mostly scuffles with the Marines. By time he was 23 he had a bounty of 10,000,000 on his head but it was no big deal to him. He was taking that time to do what he wanted to do to enjoy his freedom but he still kept him promise in the back of his head at all times.
One day while he was swimming in the ocean not too far away from where his crew had set anchor for the night he saw something on the ocean floor. There were anchored in shallow water with the floor only about 20 feet below them, he swam to the bottom and it was a fruit that was on the floor. He got the fruit and brought it back on his ship and showed everyone the strange fruit. This would be the first time he ever set eyes on a Devil Fruit. He heard stories about them just like everyone other pirate on the sea but never thought he would encounter one.
The crew spent an entire week betting on what the powers it would give would be or if it was even real. Once the week of speculation was over the whole crew gathered and Hikaru ate it. Other than it murdering his taste buds he didn't notice any immediate effect. The whole crew went to bed disappointed in all the build up they gave it. The next day the crew went on with it's normal duties and adventures but they were attacked by Marines. The crew went to battle and were nearly wiped out by the Marines, their ship almost sunk and most of their crew dead.
The battle went on until Hikaru was the only one left, angered by the loss of his crewmates he went on a rampage. This is the first time his powers showed themselves and the final time for a while. He was reaching for the Marines who just massacred his crew but with his weak body was unable to even crawl towards them. In his angered state he shot a beam of light at them that came out of his palm that caused an explosion killing all the Marines but one. He passed out soon afterwards from exhaustion.
When he woke he was on a ship heading towards and island. Apparently the fishermen on the ship saw him afloat on a piece of wood and picked him up. He was grateful that they saved his life and would forever be in their debt. His body was torn to shreds and he wasn't able to perform the simplest task for himself for weeks. For that time he lived with the fishermen and they cared for him getting him back to full strength. After a month passed he left the men with a thank you and left the island he was on.
He sailed around for a while trying to remember the details of the night he lost his crew but couldn't. He remembered bits and pieces but didn't think any of them were real as it was mainly him shooting light out of his hand. He put the memory to the back of his mind and moved on with his life. He took a little time out to return to his home island, when there he noticed not much changed about it at all and it brought him comfort. When the islanders recognized him they all praised him for his bounty, since he was in the East Blue the weakest of all the Blues 10,000,000 was a substantial bounty.
That's what he thought however not knowing of his bounty increase in his absence. His bounty had doubled to 20,000,000 much to his surprise, when he asked why the reply he got was because of his powers and the danger they pose to the Marines. He then had a flashback and remembered a lone Marine escaping after the light shot out of his hand and that's where his memory ended. He spent a few weeks in his old home that remained untouched out of respect for his family. While spending his time there his memory of the event slowly came back, while he didn't like the memory it helped him realize the power he possessed.
He realized this because the memory of his crews death angered him even further and he again shot a beam of light this time smaller in comparison and not very destructive,. After witnessing what he could do he remembered eating the fruit and added two and two together. He now knew he had Devil Fruit powers but hated knowing the fact. He hated it because he felt if he knew sooner and knew how to control it he could of saved his crew. He spent the next 5 years on his home island attempting to train his powers.
Over the 5 years he did not get far, he could control it to an extent but he always seemed to overexert himself. This left him tired after little use of the Devil Fruit and open for attacks easily. He decided it was time to leave his home island again at that time, but before he left he made himself one final thing. He made himself a sword, it looked like a normal katana to anyone who didn't know it abilities. He used a variety of precious metals to create his sword and it was able to be used hand in hand with his Devil Fruit. He could infuse his powers into the sword extending the sword length and power and he could perform simple attacks with the sword including shooting beams out of it.
He left the island and went solo for 2 years, during those years he wanted to make himself known. He was now ready to fulfill his promise and become one of the best pirates on the sea. His bounty increased by another 5,000,000 which made him happy, any increase was a milestone for him and he expected much more before he became what he wants to be. He wants to be a Shichibukai, though he can barley control his powers and is relatively unknown he wants to change that. Now at the age of 30 he now plans to sail the seas alone becoming stronger and proving his strength to everyone he encounters.
Personality: Hikaru is a kind mature man, he likes to help others reach their goals. He has a serious demeanor caused by some of the harder parts of his life in the past but also has a lighter side to him. He takes combat seriously because of the fact he can't fully control his powers. He is extremely loyal to those he deems worthy of his loyalty and would do anything to help them out if requested. He is a born leader leading by example not requesting anything of anyone he would not do himself. He tries to surround himself with genuine and nice people, he believe who you choose to associate with define you as a person.
Ship: Oblivion
Ship Flag: The ship flag has a background of black and a giant part of it being red about 2/3. To the left is the skull with a crack from the top middle of it to about 1/3 down. The skull has an evil look on his face and has fangs, also instead of crossbones it only has one bone and the other being replaced by a sword.
Devil Fruit: Pika Pika no Mi

effect: The Pika Pika no Mi gives the user the ability to shoot beams of light from his hands, fingers, feet, etc capable of causing mass explosions. The user can also use light augmentation to increase his physical attacks and speed.

Learned Techniques (Keep it 1-25):
1) Pika pistol- Using his index finger he aims it like a gun at his opponent and shoots it like a pistol
2) Pika Shotgun- Using his left or right hand Hikaru gathers light in his hand while balled in a fist and seemingly throws a punch at his target causing a larger, stronger beam to be shot at them.
3) Pika Sword- Using the Light Bringer Hikaru puts light energy into his sword causing it to shine brightly, he can then extend the sword by adding more energy into it and can even shoot beams out of the tip if he so desires, the downfall to this technique is that he is not yet skilled enough with his Devil Fruit for it to last long at this point. (3 post before exhaustion)
4) Pika Kick- Gathering light energy in his feet Hikaru uses his feet to shoot beams at his opponents.
5) Teleportation- Hikaru travels short distances at the speed of light, he can only travel short distances as of now. (Not usable in combat)
6) Pika Augmentation- Hikaru gathers light energy in his hands or feet (One or the other at this time not both) and it allows him to move faster than normal. It does not make him move at the speed of light and when he uses this he can only shoot at his opponents using whatever body part he decided to augment making it only slightly faster than normal. (Last 1 post after used)
