Destroyers at Sea Chapter One: The Conquest for a Sword

Thor began helping Iken with the search, running through streets and such, looking for his injured crew mate. He then saw something that attracted his attention; a house. And not just any house, this one was burning. He wasn't to the house yet but he could see the top of it and smoke rising from it. He then ran back and found Iken.

"Iken, that house looks like somewhere we should look" said Thor "Cat might be in trouble" he said, then running towards the house

Running, his mind raced putting together situations that Cat could have been put in. A gas lamp being shot at in the house he was hiding out in, suicide, a marine with a flamethrower. The list went on, getting more bizarre as he went and finally reached the house. He saw three marines looking satisfied, and thought all hope was lost until he looked up and a smile grew on his face. There was Cat, sitting on the roof watching the marines lazily. Thor then decided to spring to action. He shot two energy beams at one of the marines, then picked his jutte up and swung at the man. The man had been hit in the leg wioth one of the beams and the other missed, so the jutte hit the man easily as he had no way of dodging. The man then reached for his gun, shooting at Thor's face. Thor acted quickly, doing a backflip and bending his legs so the bullets would miss, then pounding the man in the face while in his handstand. The man fell over, leaving Thor impressed with his own gymnastic ability.

Iken looked frantically for his nakama, however it was to no avail. No matter where he went or how many doors he kicked down Iken couldn't find Cat. As the time went by it looked more and more likely that Cat had been taken care of by the marines. Half heartily walking through the town Iken could find no trace of Cat. That was until he seen an aura of glowing orange, it was a fire, and it seemed to be large enough to be one of the many houses around the area.

Running toward the fire Iken came upon a scene of evil and corruption. Three marines were burning a house down, however Iken didn't realize why they would do such a thing at first. As another moments passed by, Iken's heart sunk into the deepest pits of his stomach. The marines could vary well be attempting to burn Cat alive inside the house. By this time the house was completely engulfed by flame. If there was anyone inside, they wouldn't have been alive. Sitting a couple houses over was a wooden crate of cannonballs. Such a strange place to put such a thing, however it made perfect sense to Iken. It was put there by the gods to help him get his perfect revenge. Walking over to the box, Iken picked up two cannonballs, one with each hand.

The idiotic marines were so busy ogling at their master piece that they didn't even notice the man walk up to them. He was with in five feet of the three men. Iken figured Iken could throw each cannonball a little over 15 feet. So with him being with in five feet of the men, Iken was more than close enough to throwing range. With the cannonball in his left hand Iken threw it at the closest marine hitting him in the side breaking all of his ribs on that size. The cannonball held by his right hand was thrown at the farthest marine. This time it hit him in the right leg shattering it into pieces from the shear weight of the ball.

Cat watched Iken come out with 2 cannon balls, it seemed obvious what he was going to do, but why he was so furious Cat couldnt find out. Unable to put it together that he thought Cat was in the fire he watched Iken and Thor defeat the three Marines, by now the Village had lost many Marines, and would almost certainly be looking for them, Cat was amazed at how much damage they did in but a few seconds. "Guys.. we have a clue to where we need to go next.. but we have one small problem, i have NO idea how to get down from here.." Cat's voice appeared from behind the group, Iken and the others were in front of Cat, but he was on an averagely tall building, landing on his injured leg might not be the best idea.

As Iken was finishing the job by smashing the marine's heads in with eh cannonballs he head thrown at them a voice came from above. At first Iken thought it was nothing, but it continued causing him to look up. Once he did that Iken seen Cat atop the building. He seemed to be stuck like...well a cat up a tree. This made Iken face palm the man, he truly lived up to his nickname. However Iken then remembered he thought he was dead in the fire. At this point Iken seriously felt like picking up a rock and throwing it at Cat. This way he could get him off of the building, without much effort.

"Are you seriously stuck on the roof?" Iken asked almost in disbelief.

Cat was somewhat embarrassed of being stuck in a situation where he couldnt get down, He was in a very tall building and looking down his leg was DEFINITELY not going to stand the impact as it was, if he was in full health it would be much less dangerous and capable of doing it. He answered back to Ikens question, ".. Yeah im kinda stuck, Honestly its a very long story how i even ended up on top of here.. most of it was instinct. My leg by the way, is not going to take the pressure of falling from this distance, since i could already feel my leg breaking from the impact." Cat was in no way going to jump from that distance, he was actually scared of falling with his current distance.

Then it occured to him, Cat looked down underneath him and could see that the building had Windows on it, Cat held on to the roofs edge and jumped through the window, a loud shriek from a women was heard inside the Big home, followed by Cats voice, "Ugh.. sorry i didnt know this was the bathroom.. ill just break through another window" the lady shriked in horror as things were seen being thrown out the window,.. Cat was seen busting through another window on the buttom of the house next to the door. He ran towards Iken Thor and the group, "RUN!" a lady appeared from the door holding a shotgun, she aimed at the small crew and prepared to fire. Cat was already running for his life in the opposite direction.

Iken only sighed as Cat ran out of the building as the sounds of women's screams came from behind him. Soon a lady toting a shotgun appeared from within the building Cat had recently come from. Iken wasn't about to run from a woman with a shotgun. Instead Iken raised his hands up and walked towards the woman. He moved slow as not to get shot by the woman, once he got close enough Iken held out his hand.

"I'm sorry about my friend...he was uh...stuck on top of your building. You see he's a "special one", and need a little bit extra care. I'm sorry that he trespassed during such an embarrassing moment, but he doesn't know any better. Now ma'am I'm more than willing to help fix or pay for the window." Iken said winking and kissing the woman's hand.

Iken was wondering if Cat would go along with the ruse, he was trying to pull over on the woman. In all honesty Iken wasn't sure if it was a lie or not. However this seemed like an easy way out of the situation without making an enemy or getting shot at. Even if the worst happened, with Iken being so close he could most likely take the woman.

Thor got up and put his hands in his pockets and laughed a bit as he watched Cats antics to get down to the ground. He was a fun person, Thor couldn't lie. When Cat got down, he saw a lady, and the lady had a shotgun. Wide eyed, Thor shoved his hand out of his pocket and began charging a lazor, but by time it was done, Iken had already approached her in a different way; charm. Thor sighed, still on alert for if she didn't take the bait. He then hoped that he wouldn't have to pay the women to fix her damn house.

"Yeah, sorry, Cat is...well...Cat" he said

Cat was at this point hiding behind the rubbles of the home that was burned down. In his case he was indeed a safe place to hide since there was plenty of ruble to hide behind, the wood was burned black and the dead marine bodies also took the attention away from Cat, he popped his head out to watch what was going on, the lady seemed to have dropped her shot-gun, she thanked Iken for his hospitality by bowing and then said something unexpected.

"Next time keep him near you, the next time i see him by himself ill come after you.." she slammed the door behind her. Cat was relieved and Sat down, he was relaxing for the first time in hours, he was almost carefree.. if it wasn't for the Marines attempting to kill them as he was laying down on the ground. Cat was trying to remember something that was supposed to be important.. but it kept skipping his mind, after minutes of thinking while hiding behind the rubble he remembered popping his head from the ruble (With a serious face) he called out. "I know where the blacksmiths are, and the weasel as well..." Cat was hoping they wouldnt have found him while he was hiding behind the rubble for fear of Scorn, so the subject would take their minds of things.

Iken nodded with a smile that the woman seemed to understand what they were talking about. Once she closed the door Iken sighed, looking around Iken seen Cat a good ways away hiding. Cat was sitting on the ground almost child like. At that moment Cat seemed to be thinking of something rather hard. Iken wondered what he could be thinking about at a time like this. He then said it, he knew where the blacksmiths and the head of the ex-marines were.

"Uh okay...where are they then?" Iken asked.

Finally it seemed like they were getting somewhere. The entire time they were on the island nothing good happened. People got hurt and almost killed by a bunch of corrupt idiots. With the location of not only the sword, but the head as well they could finish it. However after making such a scene, Iken figured that the head would be guarded with extra numbers.

Thor sighed in relief as the women closed the door, dropping his hand and letting the energy on it disperse. He then looked at Cat and smiled, he knew where the men were. Finally, they could finish what they came to do; get the sword and kill people... Thor leaned against a wall and began playing with a little ball of energy for awhile, then looked up at Cat.

"Well, lets get your sword then, lead the way" he said, smiling at Cat

Cat tried to explain a little bit of the situation, he was getting tired and overall annoyed at how much trouble the day had been. Even on the way to the island he was almost killed by a shark, realizing his bounty also made his day a living hell, how did he even receive the bounty in the first place? all of his kills were self defense.. argh he couldn't argue with a poster about it, it seemed pointless at this point, Cat snapped back to reality and openened his mouth to explain the situation.

"It is... in a mansion." Cat forgot to ask for directions. His face turned a little redder then usual, but looking further right into a hill he could see that there was a Mansion located at the top, it had a Marine flag over it.. "Maybe that person knows where they are.." Cat pointed at the Mansion with a Serious uncaring face, he thought he had said something smart, but in reality that Mansion was obviously their next destination.. although he didnt know and throught of them as potential nice people (With a Marine flag) that might show them the way.

Thor face palmed when he heard that Cat had forgotten the directions. Then Cat said he saw a place where some one could help, and looking up he gaped as he saw a mansion, the only mansion around, in fact. Thor then turned around to face the wall, put his open palms on it and hit his face to the wall. Turning around, forehead red he sighed. Was his crew really THAT dumb? He then looked over to the only other person that seemed to be reasonable, Iken, and shook his head slightly, then looked at his 1st mate again. He was about to talk, but for good measure, he faced the wall again and did what he had did a few seconds ago, which he went on to repeat several times. He then turned around and faced Cat and finally brought himself to talk.

"Uh...Cat...that IS the mansion..." he said, shaking his head as he did so, and began walking towards it

Emillio was being rather passive in this whole event. He didn't even get to be angry as Cat was spotted alive next to the wooden house before he could even think about being angry. From there on, the whole thing was huge laugh. Emillio couldn't help but laugh at Cat when he was stuck up on a roof, and when he broke through the wrong windows on his way down, disturbing the same people they were trying to help. "Now that's my kind of woman!" Emillio said to no one particular when the woman with the shotgun retreated to her home. But laughter didn't end there since a presentation of Cat's horrible sense of direction was coming up next.

He liked the adventure on this island so far, it was basically harmless fun for him. "Shouldn't we check the defenses before we storm the mansion captain?" Emillio asked. He usually stopped himself from making nay comments since people were smarter than him in most cases, but his new nakama seemed almost as dumb as he was, which made the entire thing more fun.

Cat seemed to not understand Thors sudden Facewalling attempts, they were numerous in numbers and came out with his fore head red, after a continuous effort to hit the wall continuously with his forehead he finally stopped, and looked over at Cat, telling him that the mansion with the Marine flag WAS the house they needed to attack. Cat followed Thor into the Mansion, Emilio spoke about there being an Ambush but Cat didnt think of it as possible, since the Marines were outside looking for them. Cat had absolutely rare common sense but his tactics were on the average level, he new that the soldiers would be looking for them but one thing made him suspicious.. there was all these Marines but usually a group this big would have a few strong fighters among them, how else would the weasel make sure he was safe?

Cat kept his feelings to himself, until he heard a commotion coming from the Mansion ahead of them, in front of the door was a very Big man with a hammer behind him, his sheer size was unheard off stretching at almost 8 feet tall, his muscles were seen as very big giving him at least the weight of 250 pounds. His face and body were tanned and scars were seen on his chest. He looked at the team of 4 people approacing their way, he took out his hand signifying that there was no entry, he took out his hammer stretching at at least 6 feet long, he was making himself stand tall.

"There is no entry allowed on this special day, or any day" he looked closer at the group of 4 people in front of him "You guys must be the pirates that have been causing trouble all over the village hehehe, Sorry but i cant let any of you pass.. especially the day the sword will be completed, it took us too long to make that stupid thing, we are not starting over.." He took a battle stance and readied himself, next to the mansion was an empty house, where the Blacksmiths were supposed to be, they must have moved into the mansion for the finishing touches. Cat readied himself, but growled at him, "We dont have time for this, who wants to take care of this Big guy?", the man infront of the door readied himself, he spoke towards Cat. "Hehehe.. call me BULL."

Walking in the group of four Iken was happy to have the entire crew with him at this point. It was a good feeling to be with everyone at the same time, almost nothing could make his ecstatic feeling go away. Cat forgot the direction to the mansion soon enough, however the observant captain was able to put two plus two together and determine the large mansion with the marine flag was the building they were looking for. With a small grin and chuckle Iken walked along behind the crew.

However the feeling of ecstasy didn't last for long. A mountain of a man stepped in front of the group with a hammer that look to be at least eight foot long. He stated he would let them pass, like he slow giant would of had a choice with all of them fighting together. However they didn't have the time to all fight him at once. Iken knew it would be risk, but he made his way to the front of the group. Putting his hand on the hilt of his sword Iken nodded for the crew to go onward.

"Get going....I'll take care of him." Iken said staring the man down.

Cat didn't miss a beat, the second he saw Iken get prepared for battle a grin appeared on his face, his hand on his hilt always meant the opponent would have some trouble, Cat was not scared at all at this moment.. Iken would deffinetely be the one to beat this man. Cat ran forward moving past the Giant which didn't even attempt to lower his guard and attack Cat.

-BULL-
BULL pointed at Iken with a grinning face. "Hehehe, so you are Iken.. your bounty exceeds that of all your crew put together, and you are not even the Captain.. this confuses me" He took out his Hammer and laid it down on the ground getting ready to swing, the hammer itself cracked the ground and caused a very small shock that was felt in the area, He grabbed the hammer with both hands and pushed it behind his back. He prepared to swing. "Don't you worry 16 million, ill take GOOD care of your crew after im done with you" BULL swung his hammer after running towards Iken, ignoring all the other people that ran past him or were standing next to Iken, attempting to break every bone in Ikens Body. The hammer was swung Horizontally and was by itself taking 6 feet of room with the size of the hammers top being 2 feet, the hammer was aimed at his feet, if it hit would probably break his bones.

"Good luck Amigo..." Emillio whispered to Iken after he took another look at Bull. Bull was without a doubt the biggest man Emillio has ever seen, just the thought of him swinging a hammer at someone made Emillio's back shiver.
He then ran past Bull to join Cat without Bull even trying to stop him. That was odd, but Emillio was too scared to notice it. He just wanted to leave this giant man behind. He could attempt to shoot the man by surprise and make Iken's fight a lot easier, but from what Emillio got to know about Iken, he was a man of honor, and he wouldn't like any help on this one.

As they reached bull, Thor stopped and grabbed for his jutte, muttering about how big the man was. Then Iken looked at them, he said he would fight the huge man. Thor laughed as Bull and Iken had a stare down, Iken was the obvious victor over this man, as Iken had enough strength to throw a cannon ball himself. He ran with Cat and Emilio farther into the mansion, hoping he would be able to fight more soon and show off his new found acrobatic skills. He looked over at Cat and said to him while running

"So wheres the sword supposed to be??" he asked

Cat kept running through the mansion unsure of where to go, after further running inside the Mansion Cat realized something very.. bad. Cat stopped.. he had absolutely no idea where to go next.. he Huddled over to an Emo corner in the room with clouds of despair hovering over his head, "We have no Hope..." Cat was confused on what had happened, he didnt know which way to go from there, he was pretty much going by instinct since they came through the door.

Looking around he saw what appeared to be a woman wearing a Marine uniform, she had a cross bow with weird purple liquid dripping from the arrows tip. Cat waved to her and ran, he stopped a few feet from her. "Hello, do you have an idea on where i can find marine MEN that are holding a special type of sword that us.. the pirates.. are trying to steal?" Cat had just told the women with long pink hair their plans and intentions in but a few seconds, Cat awaited for her responce with a serious face.

".. Are you F@#$ing kidding me, you have got to be the most retarded.. grr nvm im here to kill you so just lie down and ill shoot you with my arrow, you wont feel a thing the last 5 minutes you have left till death." The lady pointed her arrow at Cat, but noticed the foreigner on the far corner. She seemed to be disgusted by the way he was.. she was soon charecterized a racist. She pointed her bow at him, "I HATE men like you.. I think ill finish you off first." Cat ran past her, into the dark hallway behind her, Cat opened the door immediately before she had the chance to react and ran to the darkness with Lit Fire as their light, Cat kept walking forward,now it was a racing game as Sounds were heard of Hammer on Steel... they weremaking the sword further down.

An animated sweat bead rolled down Thor's head as Cat sat in an emo corner, then they ran into a marine, and Cat tried in vain to lie to her, looked like Cat would be fighting her...wait... Thor saw that she was challenging Emilio, men like him...what did she...oh...she was a racist bitch. Thor nodded to himself sorrowfully, he hated people like her, and every fiber of his being wanted to tear the bitch apart. He resisted though, with his last will, and began running on with Cat, and when he was far enough away from her, he looked back and yelled

"Bitches like you make me sick, judging a book by its cover...Emilio is 10 times better then you will ever be, and I hope you burn in hell!" he said, then turning back around and running

Jumping upwards, Iken dodged the hammer swing for his legs with relative ease. Really anyone could have, jumping a foot into the air was an easy task. With that accomplished Iken charged toward Bull attempting to close the gap between them. For the original attack Iken seen a variety of weaknesses in both Bull and himself. Bull was a bit slow than Iken, however he made up for it by being a good amount stronger. He seemed to have more endurance as well, a lot more actually. However Iken did have one more advantage, he seemed to be able to react faster than bull.

Iken also had the advantage of the faster weapon, however Bull won it on the length section. However the problem was Iken was already past the most dangerous area of the hammer, the steel hammer. On the other hand, it might not be deadly, but getting hit with an eight foot long tree would hurt as well. With Iken's faster speed and response time he hoped he could close the six foot gap in time.

Iken then did something he had never done before against an opponent. The man dove under Bull's legs taking advantage of his wide stance he had to use to swing such a massive hammer. With him in such a position, it was awkward to handle his sword. However Iken did his best, pulling his sword from it's sheath Iken used his newest move. In the blink of an eye Iken slashed at the man four times. All of the slashes were vertical up and down attacks aimed for Bull's legs.

"Demon's Claw"

-BULL-
He laid down in pain as his legs were bleeding with 2 slashes in each leg, his cuts were deep but he was still standing. He seemed to be used to the cuts he had recieved, however these cuts were much deeper then the average one. He tried to ignore the pain he felt and raised his hammer, he swung it downwards with all his might attempting to smash his oponent now under him, he made the attack like the British play Criket, he swung the hammer as they do in the sport and attempted to Smash Ikens head. BULL positioned himself in a stance where his weight was evenly devided to his legs, making it much easier to swing the hammer fast.

"ILL KILL YOU!!" his scream was heard throughout the Mansion, even if they were outside.

Along the path Cat and Thor were following a dark figure waits for them, 4 men wait around him with pistols aiming at the door. The dark figure had a Machine in front of him aiming at the door which leads to the secret room underground the Mansion, Their only way of getting inside the room. By this time he had learned of their plots and easily used his resources in the room to aim at the door, the Dark figure aimed a very big gun at the door, their only means of entering the room and leaving was now clocked.. by a gatling gun, another figure appears beside the shadow, a male with a Katana beside him. "Go take care of both the Nuisences... while you're up there ill have fun with the slave i bought.." he gave a signal to make a Marine beat the Slave continuously about the body, hitting every muscle they could on the Long arm. The swords men left through the door dashing at his new enemies. THe shadow figure was seen then as a Weasel like man behind the Gatling gun, he had a slim Stature with Pale skin, his head was bold and he had a French looking Mustache. "Once the sword is complete ill kill have another valuable collection HAHAHA!!" the room itself was a Big one around the size of a house, with that distance anyone coming through the door would be surprised with the amount of bullets heading their way. "Hehe BULL and Daisy must be having fun by now.. these pirates will never get my sword HAHAHA!" his laugh echoed throughout the Mansion Dungeon rushing towards Cat, whom stopped while facing a Shadowy figure infront of him.

"Who are you?" Cat was trying to look at the Man clearly through the Darkness, the fire helped but was still dark.

Having come to a complete stop Iken was being bled on by the man from his cuts. However the lack of momentum wasn't only giving him the chance to encounter the evil aids virus it was also an opportunity for Bull to smash Iken's skull. Wiping off the blood Iken watched as the man formed a new stance. Realizing what he was doing Iken's eyes opened wide as he tried desperately to scurry away from out of under the man's legs.

Iken had no chance to doge the attack from such a close distance. Lunging to the side the best he could despite being trapped between the man's legs, Iken was skimmed by the man's hammer. Nearly all of the ribs on his left side broke in multiple places. However Iken grabbed the hammer and pressed it against his side to stop the man from pulling it back. With Iken's inferior strength he could never win a pulling contest with the brute of a man. Despite that Iken hung on to the hammer for long enough, Iken position his sword between the man's legs and his hammer. If Bull were to pull his hammer up to take another swing he would only cut off his own legs. With his sword positioned, Iken fell back onto his back, throwing a punch at the man's crotch in order to aggravate him into pulling his hammer up.

A man walked into the path of Cat and Thor blocking their way. He was nothing special physically, someone of average size and build. He even seemed to be smaller than the everyday marine. However the air around him was anything but average. He seemed like a wolf in sheep's clothing, or rather a demon in human clothing. Oh his belt there was a katana, still in it's golden sheath. He himself was wearing an average marine uniform only with the sleeve torn off, and it was dyed pink and purple. Looking at Cat and Thor the man's face developed a big frown.

"Ahh damn, you're both soooooo cuuuuutttteeeee. I wish I didn't have to kill you, we could fight all niiighhhht long.....Sigh....Such a waste of good meat for me to chew on and penetrated with my blade....Ohhhh yes, yes, YES, we could play for ever and ever....I wonder if I capture you if the boss will let me keep you in the basement as my prey." The man said with a wink and smile.

Cat felt a shiver go down his spine as he saw a man winking at him, he was the man in their way before the Weasel himself, this seemed unnatural as an Oponent, but cat was not complaigning, he thought this was going to be an easy win until he felt the wind the man was picking up, he seemed to be much more then he was showing himself to be. With a Lazy look Cat looked back at his Captain. "Dont worry about me, i can handle this guy.. Just promise me you'll get my sword.." Cat readied himself, this was going to be a very tough battle, one that he was prepared to win at any cost.. Cat put the blade in a position where his right Hand is touching the hilt, and his left hand holding the shieth. He was ready for a counter attack. "I'll be your oponent i guess.." Cat looked at the Man standing in his way, his face serious looking.

- BULL -
After a successful punch in the nuts BULL lost his cool, his Tan skin and bold head now glowing with anger he did exactly what Iken needed him to do, raising his Hammer Ikens blade pierced his right leg succesfully cutting it off. Bull took his hammer and still fumed with adrenaline attempted to throw the Swordsmen on the hammer. If this worked Iken would be thrown ahead of him into a tree, BULL (throwing him or not) Got up and hoped on one leg towards Iken, the pain was filling his adrenaline rush, his anger enraging now more then before after his Leg being cut off. Once he got near Ikens distsnce he would swing his Hammer vertically trying to smash the mighty swordsmen. "You have got to be the biggest pain in the neck!! DIE ALREADY!!" His veins were now showing accross his body as he started bleeding out from the foot, he didnt have mush time left till his imminent death, but thanks to his big body and Adrenaline he was more then capable of bringing down many men before he would pass out.. but was he enough to kill a man whose bounty was over 16 million?

When Iken was thrown against the tree he lost his breath as he coughed up blood. Now a few ribs on his right side were broken along with all of them on his left. With all of the damage he had sustained from his battle he would last much longer. Despite his blurred vision and labored breath Iken lifted himself up with the aid of tree. Iken almost laughed as the Bull hobbled toward him on one leg. Even in his current condition Iken would easily out move the brute.

As the man hopped ever closer Iken waited for the right time to counter. With the loss of his right leg, Bull would be off balance if he tired to swing that hammer. At the moment he swung the hammer Bull leaned toward the right as the weight sifted when he moved the hammer. Lunging forward as and ducked as Bull slammed the hammer downwards. With the tree in the way Iken was safe to charge Bull and close the gap between the two. Once in striking range Iken stabbed his sword at Bull rapidly multiple times.

"Ohhohohohohoooooooooo! I get to clash blades with another swordsman.....How exciting." said Archie as he licked his blade after unsheathing it.

With fullest of his ability Archie charged Cat at top speed. The man was much faster than anyone had seen at this point. In a short time Archie closed the gap between them. In what seem like a flash the man left Cat's view and used his speed and agility to rolled behind him. An instant later Archie slashed at Cat's low back, toward the left side. If the slash would hit, it would only do minor damage to the fatty and fleshy area. At this point the flamboyant swordsman was only playing with Cat.
