When Thor responded to Iken giving his reasoning, Ike understood, he really did. All of that ran through his mind to, he knew the risk to the crew and what could happen if they stayed to long. However the risk to the towns people seemed greater than theirs, at least to Iken. A rebellion seemed like a good idea at first glance, it would make it rather easy for the crew to slip in and out. Maybe it would even be a really good plan to someone with a good amount of tactical intelligence that didn't care what happened to other people. However to Iken this was unacceptable, to many people could die.

For one it took time and effort to to get a rebellion started and Iken wasn't sure that any of them had enough charisma to get one going. If they tried and failed that would only attract the Ex-Marines all that much sooner. Iken figured it would just be easier to get the sword and then take out the head. If they did that, the marines would be busy looking for them and most likely lower the number of guards at the heads homes. Iken figured with the size of the island there should be more than four to six guards at the mans home. The crew could easily be able to handle them with a bit of time, he also figured that it would take anywhere between 10 to 20 minuets for their backup to get there. This gave them a slim but doable timeline at that point, now all Iken had to do was explain to them.

"With the size of the island I'm sure no more than six of them will be guarding him. As long as we're efficient enough we should be out of there before the backup shows up. Nothing is official and the worst could happen, yes that is true. However this whole mission is like that, and if we back out of killing him just because it's dangerous then we shouldn't be here at all" Iken said showing no signs of backing down.

Cat sighed at Ikens sudden look at Thor, it was almost like he had expected something else from him. Cat ignored their talk and headed forward into the town, while they were talking Cat could finish the problem,he had to find a way into the town without being recognized as a Pirate.. it was lucky that the only ones he new had a bounty were Emilio and Iken, the captain and himself haven't had a Bounty as of yet. Making them an unknown threat. Cat walked into the town, seeing its light green fields and overall great aura made the environment seem like paradise, Most women started following Cat with Hearts in their eyes, but he ignored them. Cat managed to make it into a bar, 2 marines were inside.. Better to say Ex-Marines if the rumors were correct. Cat would not try to make trouble, since it was obvious the Marines behind him would kill him, Cat thought that separating would give them more ground to cover but he forgot one very important detail.. Cat himself was an idiot, and usually needed someone around him to make sure he wouldn't do anything stupid that he himself would be unaware off.

Cat held his Cutlass now without a Shieth, this was funny... since he had absolutely no way of blocking the Marines if they were to attack, feeling his arm it turned out to still be numb, and even worse his leg was still scathed. This was going to be a very bad situation, although Cat wasnt aware of it at the moment. If he was attacked he was in no way prepared to fight back. Cat was glad he didnt have any reason for attention, he had tried his best not to have any wanted posters. Cat sat down on the Bar and put his head down, he was still drowsy. ((Note: Cat does have a bounty he just doesnt know it yet.))

Watching Cat's body language and the way he walked towards the town, Iken could tell something was wrong. However Iken wasn't sure what he did wrong, apparently something Iken said disappointed the man. Maybe it was the fact that Iken pointed out just how dangerous the mission really was. Iken sort of felt bad, he didn't mean to let down or offend the man. However comradeship wasn't the crews main objective at that point, so Iken just decided to put on his coat and head into town take the forested paths instead of the main ones. This would allow him to slip into town with out being noticed by anyone from any of his bounty posters.

Entering the town on a shady looking end, Iken was shocked to see bounty posters plastered up. Even the low end of the town was under the thumb of the tyrannical Ex-Marines. Iken sighed at this point, he would need something to disguises himself from the villagers and any of the marines that happened to be walking by. Despite the danger Iken couldn't help be curious as to his bounty, he wondered if it had went up any from the activities he participated in during his time on the previous island. Walking over Iken scoured over the posters looking for his.

Once Iken found his poster, he was impressed to see that he had gotten a little over a 3 million boost on his bounty. Next Iken looked for anyone else he recognized, he seen a few familiar faces. His master was up on the wall, his bounty was insane, it was so high Iken could hardly believe it. Iken knew he was a great pirate, but that was just crazy. If the marines knew such a man was Iken's mentor they wouldn't be taking him as lightly as they were. This made Iken smile, it was another instance the proved just how deep the marines' idiocy ran.

Letting time go by him without even a care in the world Iken looked over the bounty board. He wasn't even looking to see if anyone was around him at this point, the nostalgia was clouding his judgment. He then found something startling, he found the posters for the members of his crew. Iken was told that Cat and Thor hadn't had one before, but they did now, and both sizable. Their bounties made Emillio's look like child's play, especially Cat's, he was even catching up to Iken's. Iken's eyes widened as he realized Cat didn't know and would even attempt to conceal himself. Ripping off the bounties of his crew, his mentor of sentimental reasons and his own Iken ran off into town looking for Crow.

Emillio didn't take his fair share of the argument about their actions in the island, but when Iken asked him for his opinion, the foreigner had to think of something. "I guess I could shoot some Ex-marines" He said with the bump Cat left on his head tilting his sombrero slightly, not up for it or against the idea of taking down the island's government. He figured that taking care of the marines could be the right thing to do if they obtained the sword, but they'll probably have to take care of them while they were looking for the sword so this wasn't even a question.

The group then proceeded to enter the village. Cat suggested they'll split up. Emillio could fend for himself very easily in normal islands, but with 20 ex marines and a small bounty on his head he was about to enter more trouble than he ever imagined. He walked through some streets, listening for the sound of hammers and fire to try and find the blacksmiths, without any success. After a while, he gave up on the passive approach and decided that a more active one should be taken. His past taught him that his accent was more acceptable for women then men, and so he walked up to one pretty brunet lady he spotted in the street and asked: "Hola Bela, mind showing me to the blacksmith district?" with his heavy accent following every word. The woman flashed a shy smile and said "Sure why not" Before she started walking in a certain direction, gesturing for Emillio to follow her with her finger, which he did. Emillio was on the move.

PostSubject: Re: Destroyers at Sea Chapter One: The Conquest for a Sword   Destroyers at Sea Chapter One: The Conquest for a Sword - Page 3 Icon_minitimeTue Aug 09, 2011 2:52 am

Cat was laying down with his head down on the table, he was dreaming of how the sword would look like, the rumours states that the hilt was of great metal and the shieth as well had some parts to it. Cat was tired but the dream seemed necessary to him, as soon as he put his head up a Marine looked at him dead in the eye, he then shoved the partner next to him and pointed at a poster next to the Lazy swordsman, once Cat turned around he saw a Poster with HIS picture in it, in the buttom it had a number and a few words.. although Cat could barely read them, and the numbers were not read-able to him. Cat ignored it, maybe thinking he was a step closer to becoming a legend.. in actuality it was a wanted poster with a bounty of 7,000,050 bell, it was in no way what he had hoped for.

Cat stood up and walked over to the marines, thinking he was now famous for some unknown reason. "Heya Marines.. i bet you want an autograph dont ya?" The marine man immediately took out his sword and swung it aiming at Cats neck, Cat narrowly dodged it as he took a step further back, with his training on the ship he had gotten more Athletic on that part, but his foot was throbing from the sharks Bite. The 2 Marines took out their swords and were about to attack Cat, his hand on his hilt he couldnt even put himself with a decent stance to protect himself. One of the marines ran towards Cat using his sword to slash downwards, Cat jumped towards the right getting yet another cut on his left leg, any more of this and he wont be able to walk, His endurance was helping cope with the pain but two attacks seemed to be taking a very big tole on Cat. He stood his ground, if he ran the Men would easily catch up to him, since his foot is indeed injured. Cat was getting ready to die, having sparrred Iken, gotten bitten by a shark, Dived and helped Iken had taken their damage, 2 marines was much more then Cat could handle, one might even defeat him at this point. Cat waited for them to attack. They ran to him, both ready to kill him if neccesary, it seemed like Cat was going to die..

PostSubject: Re: Destroyers at Sea Chapter One: The Conquest for a Sword   Destroyers at Sea Chapter One: The Conquest for a Sword - Page 3 Icon_minitimeTue Aug 09, 2011 3:24 am

As Cat prepared himself of oblivion, the two marines drew only closer to him ready to strike. It seemed that indeed Iken and the crew would lose a nakama to the Ex-Marines. However in a flash something or someone got in the way of the men's swords. The two men's swords clanked against another, someone had blocked their attacks. It was none other than Iken, however the last time we checked Iken wasn't anything close to a flash. However with the two marines and everyone else in the bar fixed the the battle Iken was able to use his speed and his unknown alliance to slip in unnoticed.

"Cursed Block"

[Flash Back]

As Iken ran through the town he feared he would never find Cat before the marines did. Iken didn't want to lose anyone from the crew, although he didn't want to admit it, Iken did care for the crew. Running Iken wasn't having any luck finding the any of the crew, he almost seemed frantic. When all seemed hopeless Iken noticed a few people leaving a local bar. That could only mean one thing, the marines had found one of them. Iken could only pray he wasn't to late. Making his way to the bar Iken entered noticing the two marines approaching a sleeping Cat. Cat got up, only for the two men to attack him on the spot.

[Present]

Iken, even being possible the strongest person physically in the bar struggled against the weight the two Ex-Marines put on him. Having no way to over power the men Iken couldn't do anything but block until Cat moved out of the way. At that point Iken could attempt to dodge himself then attempt a counter attack. Or another solution would be having Cat counter at that vary moment. However Iken wasn't sure if Cat would think of that, however he was surprised by him earlier that day, so why not again? Telling Cat to attack would be even less effective, the marines would just see it coming.

"How ya doin'?" Iken asked Cat obviously under some strain,.

PostSubject: Re: Destroyers at Sea Chapter One: The Conquest for a Sword   Destroyers at Sea Chapter One: The Conquest for a Sword - Page 3 Icon_minitimeTue Aug 09, 2011 4:09 am

"Hehe.. ive been better.." Cat couldnt help but smile when Iken saved him, he was far too tired to fight and injured, but Iken was there to protect him when he needed him. It was times like these where having someone phisically strong was a very good thing. Cat looked up to see Iken smashing against the two marines that were going to kill him, by smashing i meant he was single handidly pulling both of them back, Cat was amazed at how much stronger Iken had gotten, his strength was no laughing matter before but now it seemed almost unreal looking at it from this point of view.

Cat decided to act and try to help Iken, he was not going to be a victim in all this, he had to help Iken for the trouble he put him through, although he usually wouldnt be in the mood to help ths was a fellow Nakama trying to help him. Cat made a very surprising move, he noticed the Marines had their shieths dangling out of their belts, One of Cats worries was at least gone. He walked over to the Marine and took his Shieth while struggling with Iken. "Thank you marine, i needed this" Cat put the average shieth on his belt, the sword the marine had was conveniently a Cutlass, Cat put his sword inside it.. smoother then his last shieth thats for sure. Cat grabbed the hilt of the sword and put himself on the best position he could, he was going to attempt to slash them both at once. Holding still he focused on his next technique, since his left foot was injured in 2 counts it was simple to say he was in pain and required more concentration then usual. He Opened his eyes Lazily, and ignoring the pain for a split second he dashed towards them, being 5 feet away, he ran at 20 MPH towards them, he slashed his sword Cutting them both in the stomach with one quick slash. Cat after slashing them knelt down with his sword out, showing the blood dripping from his sword. If it were not for Iken.. Cat would've died. Cat fell to a chair and sat down looking at the 2 bodies that were cut.. there was 18 more and if they found out they would go for a man hunt.. and Cat would no doubt die along the way in his current condition.

"Iken.. i think we might have a problem.." Blood was gushing from his foot, the Sharks bite was a little more healed and not bleeding as much, but the sword wound was fresh.. ironocally both were on his left leg, the cut was on his thigh, and the bite on his ankle, the Cut from the slash was gushing. "I think i can still walk, oh did you and Thor have a plan?" he figured if Iken and Thor talked they must've decided on what to do in the end.

'Now that's strange...' Emillio thought to himself as he followed the brunet woman towards a local restaurant. That wasn't why he was suspecting something, he was suspecting something because the woman didn't say a word about his accent, that made people either punch him or fall in love with him. "Mind if I'll get a drink first? I'm very very thirsty..." She said slowly, pointing at the restaurant, "I could buy you one as well". Emillio's doubt was turned down a bit when an offer to a drink with a beautiful woman was thrown at him. "Sure I'll have one too" He said and followed the brunet.

As the pair stepped into the bar, Emillio went through the door first, opening it in a gentleman fashion for his lady. The moment he stepped inside a punch was thrown at the back of his head, powerful enough to send him to the ground with a violent cough. "You did well" The ex-marine who punched Emillio said to the brunt, before taking out a handful of coins and handing them to her. 'So that's the deal huh? SHIT THAT HURTS!' Emillio thought as he continued coughing on the floor. Under his poncho, Emillio was busy arming his guns as another ex-marine stepped in front of him. "Let's see if we can draw your high-bounty friends in with you as our bait... Stupid Foreigner" The marine said, referring to Emillio's pirate nickname. The man didn't draw his sword, he thought punches were enough to break the fragile gunner, but Emillio got up, barely capable of stopping the coughs. He stepped back, trying to get some distance from his attackers before saying "Who's first?"

Iken looked at Cat as he took the marines sheath and then killed them in one shot. However he fell back into a chair for exhaustion and the wounds he revived during the day. Iken seen the bar patrons run out of the bar, this could only mean they're looking for the marines. Somewhat frantic Iken needed to get Cat and himself out of there before they came with reinforcements. The only problem was Cat's wounds, they seemed rather serious. They were also deep and bled quite a bit, Iken didn't know what to do other than try to wrap them up.

Bending down Iken took the table cloth ripping it into pieces. Iken then wrapped the pieces of cloth around Cat's leg attempting to spot the bleeding. It was a sloppy job, however it seemed to help if only a little bit. Using nearly an entire table cloth Iken kept wrapping until Cat's leg looked like it had gained a large amount of water weight. Looking at the crappy patch job, Iken was disappointed, but it would have to do for now.

"I certainly hope you can walk, we need to get out of here before anymore of them show up." Iken said trying to help Cat to his feet.

"hehe, ill try to walk.. dont worry about me, ill keep up." Cat took Ikens hand helping him up to his feet, Cat attempted to walk on his own ignoring the pain that was on his left leg, He had a white Shirtless T-shirt now with a small amount of blood sprayed on it. His black Soldier like pants without the camouflage had a noticeable stain on it, Cat lowered his pants leg to cover the wound Iken helped heal. He had done so much already for him, anymore and Cat will undoubtedly feel like he is nothing more then a sandbag."Thank you.. Iken" Cat ran following the advise Iken had told him, although he never learned exactly why the marines attacked him. Cat ran back to ask Iken. "Um.. do you have any idea why the marines tried to kill me in these parts.. are they really that evil?", Cat had forgotten about him needing to run from the marines at that point, maybe it was the loss of blood that had made his brain temporarily forget.

"Well it's no problem, I'm happy to help in anyway possible. Fucking no wonder they're ex-marines. So damn trigger happy, at least none of them actually had or at least used their gun. Well I'm sure they are just that evil, but I'm it has more to do with the 7 million on your head." Iken spoke as they ran.

As Cat and Iken ran as fast as Cat's leg allowed them to Iken handed Cat his bounty poster. Looking back at Cat, Iken knew he had to be hurting at that point. No only hurting but he had to be in pretty bad shape exhaustion wise. Iken hadn't done half of what Cat had done and he was rather tired himself. The first thing they needed to do was find the rest of the crew, the captain and Emillio shouldn't be that hard to find.

"Ah damn where are they? I swear this crew is good from hiding from each other. However when the marines come they practically jump out at them." Iken commented in annoyance.

PostSubject: Re: Destroyers at Sea Chapter One: The Conquest for a Sword   Destroyers at Sea Chapter One: The Conquest for a Sword - Page 3 Icon_minitimeTue Aug 09, 2011 8:59 am

A restaurant's glass window erupted near Iken and Cat, the shards flew for a meter before dropping to the ground, about a meter away from Iken and Cat.

1 Minute Before that:

"Who's first?" Emillio asked, breathing heavily after receiving a powerful punch to the neck. The marine who punched him laughed. "Haven't you had enough idiot? Just drop to the floor and save the shame" He said, cracking his knuckles to show he wasn't kidding. Emillio wasn't even half impressed, this shouldn't take that long, the fact that the marines underrated him was good for the foreigner. "From what I saw in your bounty poster you're a gunner, you have no chance inside this small restaurant" The marine said. In return, Emillio spat at his boots.

"YOU'VE DONE IT NOW!" The marine shouted before rushing at him, aiming a punch at his chin. "Arrrrrrrrrrrriba, Early Bird" Emillio shouted. Emillio's hand shot out of his poncho, armed with a loaded revolver. The foreigner aimed a shot at the marine's foot. The bullet drilled in and caused the well built man to lose his balance while shouting with pain and anger, this whole scenario happened so quick that if one would have blinked when the marine was charging he would have missed the entire thing. From there, Emillio tossed the gun in the air and grabbed it by it's barrel. He then sent a powerful strike to the marine's head with the butt of his gun while shouting "Kaboom!", causing the unbalanced man to drop to the floor with a bump on his head. A second after the marine fell, a shot passed in front of Emillio's face, shattering the glass window of the restaurant. Apparently the marine's partner was also a gunner and was now holding a pair of flintlocks. "One down, one to go..." Emillio said and turned to the second marine. The scene like it was taken out of an old western film: two gunners facing each other, waiting for the time to shoot. What the marine didn't know, is that Emillio was probably the fastest shooter on the island.

Cat was running behind Iken attempting to leave the site where the 2 Marine bodies were left dead or dying, while leaving they were looking for their fellow crew members, but were nowhere to be found, it seemed weird how the time they needed to reform together they were nowhere to be seen, Cat was holding back the pain he felt around his leg, if it were not for Ikens quick thinking and patch work he would have certainly given up on it and stayed laying down somewhere. Cat was Enduring the pain while looking around for crew members.

After a few minutes of running a glass window was broken with glass scattering 1 meter around the area, Cat stopped, having neither the energy or the mood to run towards the window Cat took his time walking, once he looked inside the Window he saw Emilio, having a Duel with a Marine that decided to take out his gun. Cat put his hand on his own cheek, laying his elbow on the window, he looked Lazily at Emilio and decided to take him by surprise.

"There you are Emilio, didnt think you'd be here of all places.. anyways we need to regroup.. probably after you are done with the Marine.. since theres going to be alot more coming really soon.. we probably shouldnt be here when they are.." Cat was having sudden pauses between teh conversation simply because he was hurt, every pause he was checking his wounds.. he would need a doctor to help him very soon or the cut and bite might get infected.

Emillio was surprised to hear Cat behind him, but luckily for him so did his opponent. "Duck!" He shouted to Cat, a second before bullets started flying. If the swordsman wouldn't duck he will risk a bullet wound in addition to his problems. The marine took aim, ready to nail Emillio between the eyes, but Emillio aimed his gun a split of a second faster. The reflexes of both gunners were almost equal, but in a gun fight, almost isn't even close enough. Emillio pressed the trigger, but he didn't do it once, he did it six times, completely emptying his revolver of it's ammunition. It took him a second, but this is the time it took for the ex-marine to fire a single bullet, he's gunning skills were rusty from the lack of marine service. Emillio's first bullet hit the marine in the shoulder, where Emillio aimed it to hit, causing the marine to miss his shot. The next five bullets were less accurate as a result of the rapid fire, two of them hit the marine: one in his hand and one in his knee, another one grazed against the marine's arm, and the remaining two missed and drilled into the wooden wall.

"Crazy Trigger" Emillio said as the marine dropped to the floor in pain and shame. After firing six rounds in less than a second, Emillio's revolver was visibly red with heat. another one of those techniques and the gun will jam completely as a result of overheating. After puffing the smoke away from his barrel, Emillio tucked the gun back into it's holster and turned to see where did the marine's bullet ended up.

Iken seen Cat slow down and walk over to the window that had shattered before their feet. He then heard Cat call to Emillio as he leaned lazily on the window seal. It was obvious that the crews gunner was in sometime of fight with someone that was most likely one of the Ex-Marines. When Iken heard Emillio's voiced yelling to Cat to duck Iken reacted. He didn't think about anything other than getting Cat out of the window's opening. He knew how badly Cat was injured and that Cat, wouldn't be able to move in time.

Iken ran at Cat, at his fullest speed, with hard tackle Iken lunged at Cat. Knocking Cat out of the way of the bullets, Iken cupped the man's head in his hand so it didn't hit the ground when the went down. With the level of the tackle Iken preformed he was sure it was going to hurt. However a tackle was nothing compared to a bullet wound or a head tap. On the ground Iken laid next to Cat, looking at him he spoke.

"Damn, are you okay?" Iken asked Cat yet once again.

Cat was without a doubt not expecting a bullet to be rushing at him, looking over the window he didnt expect to be saved, He felt a hard impact on teh right side, feeling what felt like a hard object had been thrown at him, sliding on the ground a few inches Cat looked to see Iken had been the one that saved him, that was the third time that day.. Cat had felt utterly worthless, he had to get healed quick for him to be of any help.. but at the mean time Iken was there to make sure he would survive. Cat was grateful the once Drunk Iken had joined their crew, for he was indeed a worthy asset to them. Cat felt weak at the moment, his body was reaching its limmit. Ahead Cat saw a group of Marine uniformed men with pistols heading their way, no doubt because of the noise. Cat had enough decency to realize that 5 uniformed men were too much for an injured men to survive in, he would only be a sandbag to them at this point, so he had no choice. Cat was the First mate, putting himself at risk was part of the job, Iken had saved him 3 times that day, cat had to repay the favor as a Nakama.

"Heya you stupid marines, Did you know that my bounty is 7 million belli? cuz i just figured it out today and frankly its bothering me." The Marine men focused on Cat's insult and attempted to fire, first they all simultaneously took aim, Cat withheld the pain in his leg and sprinted. He had enough agility to free run around the town, the marines came shortly after him shooting rounds of bullets in his direction, ultimately missing of course. He had jumped over barrels trying to lose them, by doing this 2 of the marines triped over them and fell to the ground face first. After continuing to run he saw a rope that was tying down what seemed to be a flag on a small house, it was obvious that the sword was not in there, but the flag was white.. Cat wondered what it meant to have a white flag. Never the less Cat ran up the rope balancing on the Line while running up full speed, by this time his adrenaline was running out and his leg pain was returning, having climbed the rope Cat jumped at the edge and cut the rope, making the marines fall to the ground 2o feet from teh air, there was still 3 ropes holding the flag down so there was no problem, after landing on the top of the house Cat looked down to see the marines on the ground, 2 of them got up slowly, they were in temporary shock and would attempt to climb the rope once again later on. Cat couldn't help but feel much weaker after the incident.. he blacked out on the roof, losing consciousness.

A women is seen on the rooftop, she was watching what had happened. She moved towards the now collapsed body and began to search it, he had 300 belli on him which was more then enough for what she was going to do. She picked him up, while looking at his face she couldn't help but blush, she took him and went inside the house, the marines for some reason were not stepping inside to have a look around, almost like they were scared. While inside the house she took a shot, and injected the unconscious Cat.

Iken was stunned in a horrific disbelief as a group of five armed marines came their way. He was even more stunned when Cat got to his feet and began to run taunting the men. (What the hell was he doing, the stupid bastard?), were the thoughts that ran through Iken's mind. Iken was only fooling himself, he knew exactly what he was doing an why. Cat was louring the men away from Emillio and Iken himself for the simple fact they knew they couldn't beat five heavily armed marines. At this point Iken was fuming, with anger, he did like being saved by anyone. It was all the Ex-Marines' doings, they were so corrupt and evil it wasn't funny.

Walking over to the two marines laying on the ground after tripping over the barrel Iken picked then both up by the back of the neck. For an instant both men left the ground as the raging brute called Iken. Before the ex-marines touched the ground again they were slammed into the side of the building making a loud thud. Kicking in the back of their knees Iken positioning them in the typical execution position. The sound of Iken drawing his blade was the last thing the two men heard. Drawing his blade, Iken used one swift slash to end the two men by cutting off their spinal cords form their brains. It was a quick and blood end as their brain matter began to leek out. However Iken felt it was to good for them, they deserved a much harsher death in his eyes.

Once his task was completed on the outside, Iken walked into the house Emillio was in. Walking over to the marine that Emillio had knocked down and out with his gun, Iken looked down upon him. Pulling his blade out Iken ended yet another life, he stabbed him through the heart. Turning his head Iken looked at the wounded marine. The man seemed to know what was going to happen next as Iken slowly walked over to him. The man would likely die from his wounds if not treated soon anyway, but Iken wanted him dead right then and there. A downward slashing movement severed the man's throat. Blood began to pour out as he slowly suffocated in his own fluids.

"All these bastards will pay, I wont let Cat's sacrifice be in vain. They will all die!" Iken said angrily as he clenched his fists tightly.

"Cat's Sacrifice?" Emillio asked. He had no idea Cat was injured. "I think he could hold his ground against these marines Iken, I wouldn't hurry to doubt his skills" Emillio said. imagining Cat taking one of his lazy naps next to a pile of wounded marines. "I'll tell you what, you go look for him. You are faster than me so you should be able to find him faster and help him. I'll go look for captain Thor, he must still be wondering around" Emillio said.

He then turned to walk down the street, trying to listen for any fighting noises or burnt buildings, or even watch for blue flashes of light, all of those things would eventually lead him to his captain, and with Cat fighting, the crew should really regroup.

Thor ran through the town after his crew, mad that they had left him. He had been grabbing his jutte from the ship, and by time he came back they were gone. As he was running he came upon a bounty wall, and didn't seem to care until he saw a familiar face; his. He stared at his bounty increase, wide eyed for a second, how had he gotten it? He then remembered the bar incident a few weeks ago, and also saw his crewmates had bounties as well. He and pleased, but needed to keep moving. After awhile, Thor passed two marine bodies, and a third one on patrol, who apparently recognized him, because he took out a saber like sword and ran over to him.

"Hey, I saw your bounty on the wall, how 'bout we take a little walk?" The man asked, laughing

Thor didn't find this funny at all and proceeded to blast an energy beam at the mans face, which he narrowly dodged. The man then swiped his sword at Thor's face, who ducked as well, then getting up and coating his jutte with energy. The man was a little surprised by this, but still held his ground, and they began clashing weapons. The man was more skilled then Thor at swordplay, but not as fast or strong as Thor. Thor, after clashing with this man for awhile, decided he had had enough. He held the mans sword with his jutte, and charged an energy kick on his leg. He then quickly shot his leg up, making a slicing energy blast which cut the mans thin sword in half and made a large gash in his stomach. The man then fell to his knees and then to the floor. Thor then began walking away form the man; if he wasn't dead now he would be soon. He then saw Emilio and yelled to him

"Hey, thanks for ditching me!" He yelled

"Hey, no problem" Emillio answered back as a joke. He stepped towards Thor and obsrved the marine Thor sent to the ground. 'I better explain myself if I don't want to end up like that...' He thought to himself before turning to Thor.

"You know me, I'm not the idea guy, it was Iken's idea! Him and Cat ditched me as well" Emillio said while thinking to himself 'That's for snitching on me to Cat hehehe'. Emillio was so happy with his brilliant revenge that he almost forgot why he came looking for Thor. "It's good You're here though, Cat ended up in a fight against some marines, we better go look for him, Iken's on his way there as well" Emillio said, from there on, he stopped being the 'brainy' messenger and returned to his stupid gunner attitude. With Thor around, he could allow himself to step back and let him take the controls.

Thor nodded at Emilio, he believed him, Cat and Iken also did ditch him...wait, that wasn't the main concern, they lost a crew member! It also happened the be the one they were on this damned island for. Thor got up and looked at Emilio.

"C'mon, lets go find Iken" He said, running forward until he saw the man bashing marines heads into a wall.

Thor looked at Iken strangely, flinching every time the marines heads hit the wall, he didn't know he could be so...deadly. Maybe he would make it easier to take out the government on this island after all. He then looked around, so Cat really was gone eh? Thor grimaced, hoping he was safe, and not...well, dead. He walked over to Iken and sighed

"I think they're all finished off, lets go find Cat now" he said to Iken

Iken looked at the captain and wondered how he couldn't be enraged like him. Why wasn't he absolutism fuming like he was, didn't he care about his crew at all? Sheathing his sword Iken walked over to the captain to join their group. Sighing Iken walked along with Thor and Emillio looking for Cat. On one hand being in a group could attract the marines, however they seemed to do that just fine anyway, plus they would be much safer with their numbers.

"Cat....We need to find his quickly, he's wounded rather badly." Iken said with a grimace.

Thor stopped dead, Emilio hadn't told him he was injured. He suddenly was very angry, these men had hurt his crew, and they wouldn't get away with it.

"He's...injured?" he asked, slowly becoming more mad

Thor then gritted his teeth and looked at the dead men. He wanted to kill them over again, and again and again. He then took his hand and shot an abundance of lazor beams at the men, burning there skin and charring there clothing. He then slowly turned, hair covering his eyes, and spoke softly.

"New course of action" he said, in a calm voice "Get Cat, then his sword, then every marine on this island will be killed, and we'll be the ones to blame" he finished. "Now lets look for Cat"

Hanging his head slightly, Iken had forgotten one important detail, that would explain the captains lack of empathy. He would of had no idea that Cat was injured, however this didn't matter at that point. What did was them finding Cat alive and well, every moment that went by the chances decreased. The up side of this all was that Thor was now talking like Iken wanted him to. He was pissed and wanted all of the crappy ex-marines on the island to die as much as he did. With this Iken began scouring the area looking for any signs of Cat having been there. With Cat's agility he could have gone anywhere, and the marines wouldn't have been able to keep up worth a shit. Heading down the path he had seen Cat on last, Iken attempted to track the man.

"Where? Why is it so hard to find nakama on this damn island." Iken said slightly pissed.

PostSubject: Re: Destroyers at Sea Chapter One: The Conquest for a Sword   Destroyers at Sea Chapter One: The Conquest for a Sword - Page 3 Icon_minitimeWed Aug 10, 2011 1:26 am

Cat woke-up, he was in a bed with Bandages around his Leg, the one that was hurt. He tried to reminisce on what happened, He was being chased by Marines, he ran up a tall rope connecting to a Flag, there was 4 of them.. he cut the one the marines were attempting to follow him in.. then as he looked down at their bodies from the house everything turned black. It was like an experience he was not ready to go through again. His leg pain was gone for some reason, so he attempted to stand on the bench, the second his foot touched the ground he expected major pain to creep up his leg.. but nothing happened. Cat was healed, it really was a miracle.

Looking around he saw a women sitting on a chair not too far from him, she seemed to be enjoying the view as she was smiling, she was sipping Tea. The lady stood up and took a seat that was conveniently next to Cat and gave him a little jar with pills inside. "The Pain killer i gave you should be enough to last 24 hours, after that i reccomend simply not moving. These pills will make sure you dont end up getting sick, you have two very serious wounds on your left leg." Cat nodded, he was not about to disagree with the women that had saved his life."Please.. i know of the crew you are in.. i know it's too much to ask but please help us.. i know he isnt going to stay with his promise.." Cat stood up, taking his sleeveless shirt and boots, he walked outside thanking her. He nodded before she even got the chance to finish the sentence. Before he left he asked her a question.

"Do you know where the sword is located with the blacksmiths?" he looked at her intently with a serious face, now she new why he was there and a look of dissapointment ran through her face. "It's.. in the weasels mansion.. the workers are next to his house, he is inside.."She couldnt help but shed a tear, Cat moved up to her and wiped it away, "We'll visit the weasel before the sword, dont worry" and with that he left, taking his sword with him.

He opened and closed the door, only to see 3 marines outside waiting for him. "*sigh*.. I just got better you know?" Cat started running again, it seemed like they were injured from the fall they were given just a few hours ago, Cat had ran down the street, looking around he couldnt find any obstacle to hide in, he heard gun shots firing at him, bullet holes appearing next to him suddenly, while running he saw a window to an abandoned house, Cat sprinted to the area and broke through the window. He waited inside by hiding in the ceiling, it took him awhile but he had positioned himself on the planks holding up the house. He waited but the Marines never showed up inside, looking around he noticed the area was getting warmer and much more blurry.. they were attempting to burn the house down. Fire was seen on the wall next to him, the ceiling was easilly overcome by the Fire, once a part of the ceiling caved in Cat took his chance and ran upwards through the hole in the roof, once he left the house his body was marked with black stains (smoke). He ran towards the other house using the laundry strings connecting them to each other without missing a second. The Marines were still looking at the burning house, thinking Cat was still inside and dead at this point, but they never bothered to look up. Cat sat on the side of the building, he was much too lazy to move from the spot, and he had used enough energy for the day, he was behind the Marines.
