Serious: Chapter 2-The trail to Marineford "Conquest of Reverse Mountain"

Captain Darnel and his crew make it the 80th marine base after the mission at Las Camp. Darnel has been sent a message by rear Admiral Cardinal himself to meet him there. He had a headache from a hangover after last night. Darnel tried his best not to show his post druken state in front of the rear admiral. He turned to his crew "Hey guys lets try to keep that party from Las Camp to ourselves. I think I had too much to drink." The ship finally docks at the base. Vice admiral Cardinal was waiting at the docks with papers stacked to the size of bookselves.

Darnel wobbled down the stairs hoping his crew would follow behind unto the docks saluting to the rear admiral "Men salute the rear admiral!"

Kenshin, who had also been drinking at Los Camp, gave a lazy salute, which he quickly straighted out when he saw his captain give him an evil eye. He was so tired and his head hurt so bad, it was like his cranium was hells younger brother.

Rear admiral Cardinal looked at the hooded knights "Gheez you guys look like crap. Those pirates must have been tough." Darnel tried to hold his composure long enough to fool the rear admiral "Sir what was the reason we were called to base? I'm sure you didn't call us for small talk." He tried to speed up the conversation before he got reallt sick. Cardinal said "Yes we have pressing matters to attend to. In fact we got two very important things to discuss. First let me introduce your new recruit. She is warrior from Amazon Lily I believe, and her acceptance here could lead to an alliance between the amazons and the world government. That means its very important that she stays on your team unharmed."

Darnel looked next to the rear admiral to find an attractive woman standing next to him.

Ashley Smiled brightly at he new Nakama. "NIce to meet you all! Im
Ashley Hisanyaiba!" Beaming with excitment Ashley clung onto Darnels arm.

"Ah dont worry about me Boy's i wont get hurt im hecka strong see!"
Ashley started to flex her arms in a cute way.

The Black Metal snake wrapped around Ashley. Sharpfang hissed his disapproval of the men in the room. His Red eyes glared untrustingly at them.

Ashley remained friends but her Huntress instincts stood on constant alert.

Her loud and friendly voice gave him a headache god damn it he thought, rubbing his temples why the hell does she have to be so damn loud he worked up his composure and managed to smile "hiya" he forced out in a playful tone "im Kenshin" he said, almost falling but catching himself at the last second, this hangover sucked

Darnel cracked a smile as his new recruit clung to his arm, and tried to flex to prove that she was strong. This was proving to be a interesting crewmate. If only they could have met her in better circumstances. Then to make things better she was a female. she could be very useful as one of the hooded knights. The only thing that discouraged him was that snake which was ironic because of his king cobra zoan. Darnel salulated Ashley "Welcome to the crew recruit, Ashley. Here you will need a uniform." Darnel gives ashley a standard marine hat "Once you were wear this. You will be offical member of our crew."

Rear admiral Cardinal then spoke again "I'm sorry to interrupt this little introduction, but we have more pressing matters. You guys are being transfered to Marineford. The higher ups have heard of your success at capturing RedBeard, and decided that your talents are being wasted here. They want your crew to arrive at marineford to be assigned to patrol the grand line."

After a quick salute to Rear Admiral Cardinal Carlos lost his focus. The reason wasn't the attractive girl who joined their crew but her snake. The snake was giving the entire crew a look and Carlos knew that in order to gain an animal's respect you need to show no fear. He started an unspoken staring contest between him and the snake that lasted for a minute now. He decided to let his captain speak for the crew and offered a handshake to Ashley. "I'm Carlos Vivo nice to meet ya" he said, without taking his eyes off of the snake's eyes for even a mili-second.

"Yessir" he said, falling on the ground, then getting up. "redbeard" he said with one eye open and almost crying from his splitting headache "really left a mark"

Ashley Smiled as she received her uniform. "Why thank you... Already giving me presents. Its not even our first date yet Hehehe. "

Shaking Carlos Vivo Ashley gave him a kiss upon his cheek,She whispered.
"Dont mind sharpy he just thinks hes better than all of you. Dont worry ill tell him to be nicer later.

Sharpfang eyes glared at Carlos as if insulted by his challenge. Thinking to himself why some weak little human would ever even fathom the thought of being his equal.

Saluting her new allies Ashley waved goodbye. "Well boys I hope you dont mind but im going to try on this pretty little outfit, in the next room. So dont get any funny ideas. Ashley winked at them as she left to go change.

Ashley's kiss caught Carlos by surprise. He lost his balance and fell from the shock, losing the battle to the snake. 'Who is she?' Carlos thought. He never met a girl that would kiss a guy she just met. When he finished watching her leave he turned to his captain "So when are we heading out?".

Rear Cardinal said "You are depart right now. As of this second you guys are no longer apart of the 80th marine branch. It is my honor to have met you boys, and I wish you luck in your journey. Boys get the RedBeard pirates out of their ship and into the jail cells of the base, and for pete's sake make sure that their sea stone cuffs is secured. We don't want them using their devil fruit powers to escape."

Sixteen marine grunts helped escort the pirates off the ship. Darnel shook the rear admiral's hand one last time before he decided to depart "Its been an honor working for you sir." The rear admiral saluted them before retiring to his office.

"Ok its time we head off to marineford. All we have to is wait for the new recruit and we can be on our way."

kenshin when directly into his room and crash onto the bed right before he was going to faint, and kinda justsat their ploped up against his bed for a few minutes, then, when everything started to feel a little better, he walked back on to the main part of the ship "so" he said "how is everyone?"

"Fine by me!" Carlos said and stepped on to the deck. He wore his hood so his hair won't disturb him while he sailed and manned the helm. "Ready when you are crew!"

Captain Darnel stepped upon the ship. He had his arms together standing at the very front of the ship. He didn't want his crew to see him smiling. Despite that he would miss the west blue, his home sea, Darnel wanted to be transfered to Marineford. The greastest of the pirates were sailing the grand line each of them powerful in fighting style, numbers, and overall crew strength. Darnel wanted to arrest them all. It was also an honor to be transfer to marineford where the admirals were at. Darnel was tingling on the adventure that him and his crew would have. All that was left to do was to wait for Ashley as she changed. Then they would be on their way.

Meanwhile...inside the prison of the 80th base....
Sixteen marine grunts were transferring Redbeard and his crew to their cells. They passed by several of the west blue's most dangerous criminals. All of them reaching out of their cells trying to rip the marine guards to pieces. The marine grunts knew better than to get close for the criminals would tear the very flesh from their bones. Redbeard couldn't use his powers to escape, but he thought of a another plan "Hey look that guy is trying to escape!" The marine guards handling Redbeard foolish turned to look at the criminals in their cells. That single distraction gave Redbeard the opportunity to push on the marine grunts toward the cells. The criminals clung to the marine guard bitting, clawing at his flesh, and poking his eyes out. His marine breathen tried to help him out. The marine accidentally dropped his keys. Snarkel picked them up and released his captain as well as the others. A breakout was soon to begin..

Ashley Hurried back to her marine crew. Dressed in her marine outfit she smiled at Darnell. "Hey there cutie you have any orders for me?" Ashley Saluted at Darnell.

"Grrrrowwlllllll!" a loud growling noise mysteriously arose from Ashleys stomach. "Sharpy keep it down!......Grrrooowllll!" Sharpfang gave Ashley a dirty look,.

"Hey Darnell... Oh I Um mean Darnell sir By any chance would you know when our next meal is Me and Sharpy needs some eats =) "

The moment Ashley stepped on board Carlos raised the anchor and the ship was making it's slow way out of the base. The helm was decorated with a few ropes that were connected to the cannons on the sides of the ship, a vintage Carlos design. He couldn't wait to reach the Grand Line so he could upgrade that bucket of bolts to a great ship with decent equipment. The Hooded Knights were on their way. "Which route should we take captain Darnel?" Carlos asked.

The marine base alarm began to sound off loudly as the Redbeard pirates began to brake through the marine base. Loud explosions and smoke filled the base. The marine grunts were being blown and knocked away by the Redbeard pirates. Rear admiral fell backwards on the docks bloody on the ground. Darnel quickly left the ship "Oh god we need a medic!"

Out from the smoke lied the RedBeard plus some new recruits they got from the pirson.

Captain Redbeard laughed at the hooded knights "No point in trying to save Cardinal. He's dead. We made sure of that. Brawh ha ha! Snarkel and Kran go steal us a ship, while we handle these guys."

Following Darnell Ashley grabbed Sharpfang ready to attack anyone to threaten her crew or her captain. Scanning around with her hunters eyes she gazed upon the scene. Pulling back her snake bow she took aim and fired a Spiral Hollow Arrow at Kran. Attempted Drilling a hole right through his Heart.

Staying calm and collective Ashley asked "Hey Sweetie what are your orders?"

Carlos quickly left the helm and drew his hook swords as he sprinted forward. He was no medic but he could try and rescue Cardinal from the battlefield. He took a look at his opponents while he sprinted, he saw Don Jocobo, a swordsman that Carlos easily defeated in his last mission and decided that it's better to try and go through him since he already knew his techniques. Carlos than increased his speed, running in a forward crouched position with speed that scratched the soru limit at Jocobo's direction. He had no intention to stop, he needed to reach Cardinal as fast as possible. If he couldn't save the man he could at least give him a chance to be buried with honor.

Rear admiral Cardinal reached out for the hooded knights chocking on his blood. He tried to crawl toward them, but Kran fired his rifle at him. Twice Kran fired in his chest, and once in the head killing him instantly. Darnel fell to the ground to find his dear friend dead. A sudden feeling of remorse swelled inside him. "Captain, the death of a rear admiral would certainly increase your bounty" Kran said to Redbeard. Redbeard laugh "Brah ha ha ha yes but his head might make me a shichibukai. Bring me his corpse." Kran was about to get hit with the arrow, until Tyran jumped into front it blocking it with his razor arms "Not on my watch girly."

Darnel was furious that Redbeard dared attack the marine base even more that he even hurt his mentor. Darnel was furious without a second thought he turned into his king cobra hybrid form. Purple venom began dripping from his fangs "DON'T TOUCH HIM!!!! Redbeard I'm going to choke the very life from you. Carlos attack Big World and Don Jocobo, Ashley you got Tyran, and kenshin you got Snarkel and Kran. You guys have my permission to use whatever method you see fit to stop these criminals. Just don't get in my way!" Darnel leaped at Redbeard.

"He's dead..." Carlos mumbled, stopping right in front of Don Jocobo and Big World like his captain ordered. "You scums killed a comrade, my comrade." Carlos said, visibly angry. "Which one of you, wants to die first?!" He added, lifting his head to give both swordsmen a gaze filled with hate. Beating swordsmen was his strong point, this battle was his. He entered a fighting stance, holding one hook sword in a reverse grip and one in a normal grip, his knees bent and one leg reaching forward while the other prepared to sidestep.

Kenshin heard a commotion coming from outside the ship. When he got out, he almost cried. They had worked so hard to kick this guys ass for good. And now he back with new crew members? Bull shit. This guy is done for. Then he saw Kran shoot the Rear admiral dead. Enraged, Kenshin shot two bullets flying right between the snipers eyes.

Ashley frowned at Tyran. "You meanie! I guess im going to have to deal with you first hehehe!"

"Soru!" Speeding infront of Tyran Ashley blew him a kiss.
"I see your A Supa user as well. Lets see how you like this attack point blank!"
Ashley pulls on Sharpfangs strings "Rapidshot Madness!!" Ashley
Rapidly Shoots 25 Sharpfang's Spiral Hollow Arrows (mini-tiller blades that shred anything they touch well probally not very well agasint another supa user lol) Hopeing to penetrate Tyrans body from close range.

Eyes glazed over with purple fury Ashley winked at Tyran. "If your strong enough to survie that why dont you join us cutie I wouldnt mind having your nice strong metal arms around =)"

Darnel wrapped his snake body around Redbeard's lower body. He wrapped his tail around Redbeard's left arm, and pulled it toward his face. Darnel pulled redbeard's fist toward his face three more times forcing him to hit himself. Redbeard tried to bite Darnel's body. Before he had a chance, Darnel bite his neck injectint the venom inside his body. Redbeard yelled out in pain.

Tyran quickly turned his arms into spinning razor blades cutting the arrows by moving his arms in circular motions like in a martial art style "Hmm sorry doll. I'm not impressed by dizy marine girls. Grow some brains and maybe we would have a shot." The razor blades cut through the arrows, but they were broken badly. Apparently her arrows could penerate his metal powers. This was bad. He swung his razor like arms sending nine air blades toward her.

Kran quickly fired his rilfe. His bullet hit kenshin's first bullet splitting it in half, and deflecting the second bullet away "You have a lot of praticing before you can face my sniper skills." Kran fired three more time aiming his bullets at kenshin's heart.

Don Jocobo told Big World that he could go first since he knew that he wasn't strong enough to face him. Big World was a giant carrying a long saber the same size of a tree. He pushed sword down upon Carlos with his sword. Then Don Jocobo attacked Carolos from behind.

Ashley eyes lit with Glowing Purple Hatred. "How dare you insult me!!!! You peice of shit how Dare you!!! I Am Ashley Hisanyaiba from Amazon Lilly I'm going to rip that smirk right off your cocky face!!!!"

"Spider Defense!" Uses Sharpfanges Ability to turn him into an iron shield to defend against the Nine Air Blade. Which only left minor to deep scratches in Sharpfangs body along with a deep cut in Ashleys side.

Her wound didnt bother he because of her growing rage. She was Now One With her Huntress instincts. Ravage as a savage Beats and Graceful as a Jaguar. Ashley used Soru to speed away from Him while firing 50 Heavy Steel Arrows At Tyran.

Once about 20 feet away she Dropped Sharpfang on the ground.

"Sharp Fang! Tricky Snake!" Sharpfang nodded at his master and used use His Spiral hollow on his body to drill under ground. useing the spiral hollow to shred anything that comes into contact with him and he pops in and out to attack. (and when he gets wrapped around you ur pretty much a gonner) While Sharp Fang Jumped in and out of the ground slowly Surrounding Tyran like a shark Ashley
Pulled out her spare rifle and started to Fire at Tyran while constantly moveing from her postion with Soru.
